- 0:29Speaker 2: book and we're going to start a new one on tomorrow.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So we're just doing a devotion. I'm just pulling.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I just pulled the scripture and I'm just gonna share
- 0:39Speaker 2: about that scripture and.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Give it backstory and some takeaways.
- 0:44Speaker 2: So first I want to pray before we start, Father God,
- 0:48Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you for
- 0:50Speaker 2: yet another day that was not promised us. Lord God,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I thank you for yet another hour that we get
- 0:54Speaker 2: a chance to come before you, Lord God, to make
- 0:57Speaker 2: our request known.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Lord god Father, I thank you for what.
- 1:01Speaker 2: You have about what you have shared with me on
- 1:04Speaker 2: today to share with your people or Godfather asked that
- 1:07Speaker 2: you will remove me out of the way and allow
- 1:09Speaker 2: your spirit meend to come forth. For God Father, I
- 1:11Speaker 2: thank you for this space that we can get share
- 1:16Speaker 2: your word and just are asking your son Jesus saying amen, Amen.
- 1:21Speaker 2: So this morning it's gonna be coming out of Jonah.
- 1:24Speaker 2: It's gonna be coming out of Jonah. And I'm gonna
- 1:26Speaker 2: read the first through let me see, I'm gonna read
- 1:32Speaker 2: first through one through four. I'm gonna read verses one
- 1:37Speaker 2: through four. Say, now, the word of the Lord came
- 1:39Speaker 2: unto Jonah, the son of Adami, saying, arise, go to
- 1:44Speaker 2: never Neevah, that great city, and cry against it, for
- 1:48Speaker 2: their wickedness is come up before. But Jonah rose up
- 1:53Speaker 2: to flee unto Tarnish from the presence of the Lord,
- 1:58Speaker 2: and went down to Joe Japapa, and he found a
- 2:02Speaker 2: ship going to Tarshini Shaw. So he paid the fare
- 2:07Speaker 2: therefore and went down into it to go with them
- 2:14Speaker 2: until Tarsha from the presence of the Lord. But the
- 2:18Speaker 2: Lord sent out a great win into the sea, and
- 2:22Speaker 2: there was a mighty temptest on the sea. So the
- 2:26Speaker 2: ship was taken was liking to be broken. I read
- 2:33Speaker 2: Jonah verses one through four that God bless the reading
- 2:39Speaker 2: and hearing of his word.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And I'm gonna go ahead and jump on into the lesson.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna share the backstory for that particular.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Scripture and I started a minute early, sorry y'all, but.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Yes, is so the backstory on that scripture and the
- 3:05Speaker 2: title of this lesson is called Running Storms Stillness Lessons
- 3:12Speaker 2: from Jonah's Call, And I'm going that was the King
- 3:17Speaker 2: James version that I read to you guys, and now
- 3:19Speaker 2: I am going to read the new In the New
- 3:25Speaker 2: International version, it says the word of the Lord came
- 3:29Speaker 2: into Jonah, the son of Adami, go to the great
- 3:34Speaker 2: city of never Nedvah and preach against it because it's
- 3:39Speaker 2: wickedness has come before me. But Jonah ran away from
- 3:44Speaker 2: the Lord and headed to Tarshaw. He went down to
- 3:49Speaker 2: Joe Pah, where he found a ship bound for the port.
- 3:53Speaker 2: After paying his fare, he went abroad and sell for
- 3:58Speaker 2: Tarsha to flee the Lord. Then the Lord sent a
- 4:03Speaker 2: great win on the sea, and such a violent storm
- 4:07Speaker 2: arose that the ship threatened to break up. So the
- 4:14Speaker 2: backstory on this scripture is Jonah is a respected prophet
- 4:21Speaker 2: of Israel. He received a challenge, a challenging command from
- 4:26Speaker 2: God preach repentance to Navah, the capital of Asarah, a
- 4:35Speaker 2: ruthless enemy of Israel. Instead of obeyon Jonah attempted to
- 4:43Speaker 2: attempted the impossible. He ran from God's presence, bought in
- 4:47Speaker 2: a ship ahead to headed to the opposite direction. But
- 4:53Speaker 2: Jonah soon learned you cannot outrun the divine call. God
- 4:58Speaker 2: sent out a miny storm that put everyone on the
- 5:01Speaker 2: ship in prayer, reminding Jonah in us that God, God
- 5:07Speaker 2: pursues us even when we rebel. So the first thing
- 5:17Speaker 2: I want to talk about is God's God's purpose will
- 5:23Speaker 2: find you again. God's purpose will find you even when
- 5:29Speaker 2: you run. Like Jonah refusing to obey God's instruction to
- 5:34Speaker 2: preach to Never, it wasn't just an act of fear
- 5:37Speaker 2: and stubbornness.
- 5:38Speaker 1: It was an attempt to completely.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Step out of the purpose that God had designed for him.
- 5:45Speaker 2: He traveled the opposite direction, He paid affair and physically
- 5:49Speaker 2: tried to put himself a distance between himself and God's
- 5:53Speaker 2: will as possible. But God's assignment on our lives cannot
- 5:59Speaker 2: be permanently avoided or erased. When God has appointed us
- 6:03Speaker 2: for a pacific mission, his purpose resentlessly, he his purpose
- 6:10Speaker 2: resentlessly pursue us. If it's your purpose, you can run
- 6:14Speaker 2: but you can hide. You can run, but you can't hide.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Did you hear what he said? It said his purpose
- 6:21Speaker 2: resentively pursues us. Rather than letting Jonah simply disappear until
- 6:28Speaker 2: the obscure, God obstructed circumstances, in this case a supernatural
- 6:35Speaker 2: stone to get his attention and to bring him back
- 6:39Speaker 2: into alignment with his destiny. Jonah's running did not erase
- 6:44Speaker 2: his calling. It only delayed the fulfillment of it and
- 6:47Speaker 2: created more hardship for himself and others in the process. Ultimately,
- 6:52Speaker 2: God's plan finds us no matter how far we go.
- 6:56Speaker 2: So have any of you experience that I'd be the
- 7:01Speaker 2: first to tell you that I have, because I ran
- 7:04Speaker 2: for a long time. Like everything that I'm doing, y'all
- 7:06Speaker 2: see me coming on here, doing these devotions, doing five
- 7:09Speaker 2: ay and prayer, even having the podcast and being a
- 7:13Speaker 2: part of the podcast. Those are not some things that
- 7:16Speaker 2: I even thought that I would do, dreamed of doing,
- 7:20Speaker 2: or even considered doing when I was younger. But that
- 7:25Speaker 2: was the plan that God had for me, you know.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And He was setting me up as I was going alone,
- 7:31Speaker 2: but not even knowing. Even as a child, I always
- 7:36Speaker 2: was teaching, we always played school.
- 7:38Speaker 1: We always was.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Even with my imaginary friends. I was always teaching my
- 7:44Speaker 2: imaginary friends. I was always teaching my dogs. I was
- 7:47Speaker 2: always teaching, and always had my own business.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I always thought I had to have own something, but
- 7:57Speaker 2: every time we played a game or did something, even
- 8:03Speaker 2: God sending me to another school and allow me to
- 8:07Speaker 2: take public speaking classes, not knowing that I would need
- 8:10Speaker 2: those classes for the things that I'm doing.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Like he's so, he is so.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Purposeful and intentional with us, but yet we run because
- 8:23Speaker 2: we can't see it. We don't understand, and we can't
- 8:29Speaker 2: see it. So because we can't see it, we don't
- 8:31Speaker 2: want to trust it. That's that's that's just my takee.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But you know, our disobedience don't just affect us.
- 8:40Speaker 2: But it affects others. So think about this jone decision
- 8:44Speaker 2: to flee from God. It didn't just put him at danger,
- 8:49Speaker 2: but he put other people's life in danger. He took
- 8:55Speaker 2: innocent sailors who had no idea what was happening. The
- 9:00Speaker 2: storm that God sent wasn't confined to just Jonah personally,
- 9:04Speaker 2: but it endangered the entire ship, forcing the crew to
- 9:08Speaker 2: toss their cargo overboard, crying out of fear. This streamine
- 9:14Speaker 2: demonstrates that our decisions, especially those that we resist and
- 9:19Speaker 2: disobey God, often create waves that ripple through our lives
- 9:25Speaker 2: to other people, our families, our friends, our coworkers, sometimes
- 9:29Speaker 2: even strangers. Spiritual rebelling or neglect has consequences that extend
- 9:36Speaker 2: beyond our own story. Sometimes it creates unnecessary chaos, anxiety,
- 9:42Speaker 2: and loss of others. This story of Jonah is a
- 9:46Speaker 2: sober reminder that our faithfulness or lack therefore, shapes the
- 9:52Speaker 2: environment for those who travel the life journey with us.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So think about the things that we do.
- 9:59Speaker 2: The things that we do don't just affect us, but
- 10:02Speaker 2: they affect our family, ham Fact, our friends, him fact,
- 10:07Speaker 2: even strangers y'all a people that we don't even know yet.
- 10:11Speaker 2: So just imagine the weight that lies on our decisions
- 10:15Speaker 2: when we decide that we don't want to do what
- 10:17Speaker 2: God has called us to do. Every time we deny
- 10:20Speaker 2: something that God has called us to do, like, for example,
- 10:24Speaker 2: all these individuals that have testimonies out here that they
- 10:28Speaker 2: refuse to share for whatever reason or another. But God
- 10:32Speaker 2: has did something for you. He's allowed you to have
- 10:35Speaker 2: a second chance, third for or fifth chance. But he
- 10:39Speaker 2: keep blessing you. But yet you sit down on the story,
- 10:42Speaker 2: you sit down on a testimony, you fail to let
- 10:48Speaker 2: others know what He's done for you. See, but one
- 10:52Speaker 2: thing about it. You can tell it now or you
- 10:56Speaker 2: can tell it later. But it's gonna get told, because
- 10:59Speaker 2: one thing about God is he he ain't gonna stop,
- 11:04Speaker 2: and he gonna he.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Is Resentles Slee merciful. Check this out. So despite Jonas,
- 11:15Speaker 1: this obedience, and his willingness to attempt to abandon God's directive,
- 11:22Speaker 1: God did not cast him aside or replace him. Okay,
- 11:26Speaker 1: just because you you.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Being out of you doing what you want to do,
- 11:29Speaker 2: you're doing practicing free will, and you moving regardless of
- 11:32Speaker 2: what you're doing. He gonna let you play around for
- 11:36Speaker 2: a little while. And then when he get tired of
- 11:37Speaker 2: you doing all that, he gonna snatch you on back,
- 11:40Speaker 2: and he gonna bring you on back because guess what,
- 11:42Speaker 2: He not gonna cast you away. He's not gonna put
- 11:45Speaker 2: you aside, and he not gonna replace you. That's what
- 11:48Speaker 2: he said. He said, God did not cast him aside
- 11:51Speaker 2: or replace him. Instead, God intervened with a storm. So
- 11:54Speaker 2: guess what you may get a storm, something may come
- 11:58Speaker 2: up and guess what, it's not a punishment, but it's
- 12:02Speaker 2: a redirector see, a lot of us we take these things.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Things come at us because we make decisions. Sometimes we
- 12:11Speaker 2: make the wrong decision, and we make decisions that is
- 12:15Speaker 2: not in the will of God. But instead of Him
- 12:18Speaker 2: taking his hands off us and saying, Okay, I'm gonna
- 12:21Speaker 2: be done with you, he allows us to go through
- 12:23Speaker 2: these things. We go through these things, and we often
- 12:27Speaker 2: give credit to the enemy. We often give credit.
- 12:30Speaker 1: To the dey all.
- 12:31Speaker 2: We often say that, oh, this is backlash, this is
- 12:34Speaker 2: the no when it's nothing but.
- 12:39Speaker 1: God allowing the.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Storm to intervene to redirect you. Okay, So the storm,
- 12:50Speaker 2: this time, this storm, the time in the belly of
- 12:55Speaker 2: the grapefish, in every uncomfortable moment Jonah faced, were part
- 12:59Speaker 2: of God's determined effort to bring him back into purpose
- 13:05Speaker 2: and the relationship and God's mercy wasn't just for Jonah.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It was for the people of Ninevah as well. Even
- 13:14Speaker 2: after such open rebellion, Jonah was given another chance to
- 13:19Speaker 2: fulfill his calling, and the people of Navaga were given
- 13:24Speaker 2: an opportunity to repent, to be saved from destruction. God's
- 13:28Speaker 2: mercy chasing after us, not to condemn us, but to restore,
- 13:33Speaker 2: to redeem, and to connect us and even entire communities
- 13:40Speaker 2: to the destiny and the grace that He has planned
- 13:43Speaker 2: from the beginning of time. Y'all like nothing that nothing
- 13:48Speaker 2: that we can do can separate us from what God
- 13:51Speaker 2: has planned for us. This resentless mercy is a promise that, no.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Matter what our failures are, God's grace.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Will meet us and lead us into second, third, forty fifth,
- 14:06Speaker 2: Sex seven eight twenty chances.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So, y'all, what I want you to take away from
- 14:12Speaker 1: this today sit sit still and listen.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Where that comes from. Psalms forty six and ten. Y'all,
- 14:23Speaker 2: sit still and listen. When Facebook challenges and decisions, a
- 14:28Speaker 2: difficult calling, or a season of entner turmoil, our first
- 14:34Speaker 2: instinct is often to rush into actions or emerge ourself
- 14:37Speaker 2: into distractions. We may busy ourself with tasks. We may
- 14:42Speaker 2: seek advice of friends around us, or attempt to outrun
- 14:46Speaker 2: our anxiety, anything to avoid confronting what God might be saying.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yet God's word says and for Psalms.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Forty six and ten, be still and know that I
- 15:00Speaker 2: I am God It invites us to pause and enter
- 15:04Speaker 2: His presence in silence. Y'all, this kind of stillness is
- 15:09Speaker 2: not simply the absence of noise or movement. It is
- 15:13Speaker 2: a spiritual posture of trust and a tentative waiting. Be
- 15:20Speaker 2: intentional in setting aside time for quiet, prayer, reflection, and scripture,
- 15:28Speaker 2: we open ourselves to God's voice, allowing his guidance to
- 15:33Speaker 2: become clear. Stillness anchors us, providing clarity and courage before
- 15:39Speaker 2: decisions are made. In silence, we can receive instructions or
- 15:45Speaker 2: corrections from God, preventing the unnecessary storms that come from striving,
- 15:51Speaker 2: avoidance and impulsive choice. Instead of running ahead or away,
- 15:56Speaker 2: slow down, surrender your worries, and let God's peace direct
- 16:01Speaker 2: your next step. So that's why I say in the morning,
- 16:07Speaker 2: like we get up every morning and do five am prayer.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I know that may be too much for everybody else,
- 16:15Speaker 2: but every morning we get up and we do five
- 16:16Speaker 2: am prayer. And we used to when we first started,
- 16:22Speaker 2: we used to only do one hundred and twenty one
- 16:24Speaker 2: days here. It was the one hundred and twenty one
- 16:27Speaker 2: days of Prayer, and we just used to do one
- 16:30Speaker 2: hundred and twenty one days it was based on songs
- 16:32Speaker 2: one twenty one.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So we did.
- 16:35Speaker 2: We used to do one hundred and twenty one days
- 16:37Speaker 2: of prayer, and I think that was the first three
- 16:38Speaker 2: years we did that.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Year four, I think we went into prayer.
- 16:43Speaker 2: And we was like, oh, we need to keep praying,
- 16:46Speaker 2: so we started doing just straight through. So we just
- 16:51Speaker 2: started going straight through. We didn't we didn't stop. So
- 16:53Speaker 2: this is our second year of just praying five am
- 16:56Speaker 2: every day.
- 16:59Speaker 1: But we do that.
- 17:00Speaker 2: And I tell people that since I've been praying every
- 17:04Speaker 2: day at five am. Not to mention I whisper prayers
- 17:09Speaker 2: throughout the day, but every day since I've been praying
- 17:12Speaker 2: at five a m. My morning starts a whole lot better.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And it gives you an opportunity. You may wake up
- 17:21Speaker 2: and things may not be things may not be gone
- 17:25Speaker 2: right when you wake up, but you go on that
- 17:27Speaker 2: prayer line, you get off the prayer line, you spend,
- 17:30Speaker 2: You spend a few minutes allowing him to minister to you.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You feel a few minutes.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Just looking at his word, reading his word, studying this word,
- 17:39Speaker 2: and just give him that time so that you can
- 17:41Speaker 2: posture yourself, get yourself, pours yourself, get ready for today
- 17:45Speaker 2: so that you can face whatever may come at you.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That is one of the reasons why I say it's
- 17:51Speaker 2: important to have that time and to and to put
- 17:54Speaker 2: put that time right there in the morning time before
- 17:58Speaker 2: you step into anything, and then He can open you
- 18:00Speaker 2: up to receive you.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Not only that.
- 18:06Speaker 2: While you're doing that, now we have to examine our direction.
- 18:12Speaker 2: That is very important and we should do. It's important
- 18:17Speaker 2: to regularly stop and honestly evaluate the path you are taking.
- 18:23Speaker 2: You should be evaluating what you're doing. You should be
- 18:27Speaker 2: asking yourself probing questions like am I resisting something that
- 18:31Speaker 2: God is clearly asking of me? Is there any area
- 18:35Speaker 2: where I am intentionally delaying obedience, perhaps forgiving someone, stepping
- 18:40Speaker 2: out in faith or making life changing decisions. I'm gonna
- 18:45Speaker 2: say that again. I'm gonna say that again. It is
- 18:49Speaker 2: important to regularly stop and honestly evaluate the path that
- 18:54Speaker 2: you are taking. Ask yourself, ask yourself these probing questions.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Am I resisting something that God is clearly calling me to?
- 19:06Speaker 2: Is there an area I am intentionally delaying obedience? Or
- 19:13Speaker 2: perhaps I refuse or haven't forgiven someone? Am I stepping
- 19:18Speaker 2: out in pace? Am I making life changing decisions?
- 19:26Speaker 1: So?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Jonah's story teaches us how easy it is to drift
- 19:31Speaker 2: off course. Sometimes we may just compromise or outright avoidance.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Whenever you sense unrest, guilt, anxiety, or reoccurring obstacles, take
- 19:51Speaker 2: it as a loving nudge from God to consider whether
- 19:55Speaker 2: you are ignoring or running from His instructions. So did
- 20:01Speaker 2: you hear that whenever you sense unrest, guilt, anxiety, or
- 20:09Speaker 2: reoccurring obstacles, you got to take a look and consider
- 20:19Speaker 2: whether you are ignoring or you're running from His instruction.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Repentance it's not just a major moral failure, but also
- 20:29Speaker 2: it's not for just major moral failures, but it is
- 20:33Speaker 2: also a moment when we can realize we've chosen our
- 20:37Speaker 2: own ways over His ways. That's why I say we
- 20:41Speaker 2: should repent daily. We should always be in a state
- 20:44Speaker 2: of repentance. We should always be asking for forgiveness. We
- 20:48Speaker 2: should always be moving in a state of repentance. So
- 20:53Speaker 2: the beauty of God's grace is that realignment is always possible,
- 20:58Speaker 2: no matter how far we go in the wrong direction.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Honestly examining your.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Life, omit where you are off course, ask God to
- 21:08Speaker 2: forgive and intentionally step back onto the path. That's why
- 21:14Speaker 2: I say repent, turn from your wicked ways. He's just
- 21:18Speaker 2: to forgive. Huh yeah, He'll set you back on the
- 21:22Speaker 2: right path. He's prepared for you. The last thing I
- 21:25Speaker 2: want you to remember is you gotta remember who's in control.
- 21:31Speaker 2: You have to remember who's in control. We are not
- 21:35Speaker 2: in control. We have to remember who's in control. When
- 21:39Speaker 2: life storm's hit, whether it's a form of trouble, loss, conflict,
- 21:44Speaker 2: or inner chaos, it is easy to panic, to question God,
- 21:49Speaker 2: or to feel hopeless. Jonah's journey reminds us to ask,
- 21:56Speaker 2: am I in the midst of a storm, because I've
- 21:59Speaker 2: been running from God's purpose? If so, let the trial
- 22:04Speaker 2: prompt you to realign your life with God. But also
- 22:09Speaker 2: remember that God who allows storms is also the God
- 22:12Speaker 2: who calms them. Even our most turbulent season are not
- 22:18Speaker 2: outside his control or concern. Trust that every hardship, every detour,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and every test can be transformed into a pivotal movement
- 22:28Speaker 2: of growth and deepening faith.
- 22:30Speaker 1: If you surrender them to him.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Let your confidence rest into Let your confidence rest not
- 22:38Speaker 2: in your ability to manage your storm, but God's sovereign
- 22:43Speaker 2: power and loving purpose. Knowing that He is in control.
- 22:48Speaker 2: He's transforming fear into chaos. He's transforming fear and chaos
- 22:53Speaker 2: into hope and direction. So I want y'all to remember,
- 23:02Speaker 2: be still and know that I am God, Psalm forty
- 23:05Speaker 2: six and ten. No matter where you are in this journey,
- 23:08Speaker 2: God is with you, and His story through you is
- 23:12Speaker 2: not over. I leave you with these words of encouragement.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Maybe you find yourself in Jonah shoes, running wrestling, or
- 23:25Speaker 2: simply weary from the storm.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Hear this. God's call is not canceled, but your detours.
- 23:35Speaker 2: His mercy is greater than your mistake, and his plans
- 23:39Speaker 2: for you are rooted in love and redemption. If God
- 23:42Speaker 2: is calling you to lean into stillness, know that He's
- 23:47Speaker 2: not abandoning you in the storm. He will guide you
- 23:50Speaker 2: through it, restore you, and use you for something greater
- 23:55Speaker 2: than you can ever imagine. Do not fear your Netabah
- 24:00Speaker 2: will be with you, and every step of the journey,
- 24:04Speaker 2: the God who asked you to go, the same God
- 24:08Speaker 2: who gives you grace, carriage.
- 24:10Speaker 1: And second and third and fourth chances, will be with you.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna pray.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Lord with every Lord Father, whatever I'm facing a hard call,
- 24:26Speaker 2: a consequence.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Of running from you.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Teach me to be still and to listen for your presence,
- 24:34Speaker 2: redirect my every step, empower me to obey, trust your purpose,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and to lean on your mercy and never fail. Father,
- 24:46Speaker 2: we thank you for your word on today. And Father
- 24:50Speaker 2: made this word not just be something that we read
- 24:53Speaker 2: out the paper and just be words and sentences. But Lord,
- 24:57Speaker 2: allow it to manifest in our lives. Allow us to
- 25:02Speaker 2: take these words, apply them, and allow them to come
- 25:06Speaker 2: life and to God leading direct us. Father, we thank
- 25:10Speaker 2: you for the Holy Spirit that you've left to be
- 25:12Speaker 2: the confid to us. So, Father, we're asking that you
- 25:15Speaker 2: will allow the Holy Spirit to go before us on
- 25:18Speaker 2: this day to calm any rough seas, to live in
- 25:22Speaker 2: any mountain, and to straighten out any crooked roads. Father,
- 25:26Speaker 2: we thank you for extending your grace and your mercy
- 25:28Speaker 2: one more time, giving us the opportunity to get it right,
- 25:32Speaker 2: and giving us the opportunity to impact lives. So Father,
- 25:35Speaker 2: I asked these scenes and your son Jesus' name, Amen
- 25:38Speaker 2: a man.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Amen. Again.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I thank each and every one of you guys that
- 25:42Speaker 2: have tuned in on today. I pray that something that
- 25:46Speaker 2: I have shared has been a blessing to you, and
- 25:49Speaker 2: that you would share it with someone. If this has
- 25:52Speaker 2: been a blessing to you, I pray that you would
- 25:53Speaker 2: share it out to someone tax someone, let them know
- 25:58Speaker 2: that we are on here every day at am if
- 26:01Speaker 2: they want to hear a devotion. And it's just a devotion, y'all.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Because I'm not known theologian.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm not known.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I don't walk into office, I don't professor calling. I'm
- 26:14Speaker 2: just someone that knows what God has done for me.
- 26:19Speaker 2: I know that he has raised me up for my
- 26:22Speaker 2: better affliction, not one time, not two times, so many
- 26:26Speaker 2: times that I can't even remember all of the times
- 26:28Speaker 2: that he's raised me up. But He's been better to
- 26:31Speaker 2: me than I could ever be to myself. And I'm
- 26:33Speaker 2: forever grateful. And I said that last time when I
- 26:36Speaker 2: was on my.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Bet of affliction.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Well I'm not gonna say the last time, but in
- 26:40Speaker 2: twenty fourteen, when I was on my bet of affliction
- 26:43Speaker 2: fighting for my life and he rolls me up, all
- 26:49Speaker 2: I wanted to do was share his goodness. I said,
- 26:51Speaker 2: I will share his goodness. So this is outlets that
- 26:53Speaker 2: He's given me to be able to share his goodness
- 26:56Speaker 2: through podcasting, through the magazine through all the little things
- 26:59Speaker 2: that he'll allow us to connect through. So I'm grateful,
- 27:04Speaker 2: I'm humble, and I just thank him and every morning
- 27:07Speaker 2: that he breathed breath into me, because it's not the
- 27:10Speaker 2: alarm clock that goes off that wakes us up, but
- 27:13Speaker 2: every morning that he breathed that breath into me, I
- 27:16Speaker 2: will get up and I will share his goodness. I
- 27:18Speaker 2: will share what he's done for me because that's what
- 27:20Speaker 2: I said I would do, And every chance I get,
- 27:22Speaker 2: I will shine it from the mountaintop. I will not
- 27:25Speaker 2: sit down on his goodness because he's been too good
- 27:27Speaker 2: to me. He's been way good to me than I
- 27:30Speaker 2: could ever have been to myself when I was lost,
- 27:33Speaker 2: when I was deep in my sin, and yeah, he
- 27:36Speaker 2: brought me out because he knew that this day would
- 27:40Speaker 2: be this day, and he knew where he would need me.
- 27:43Speaker 1: So I'm grateful to be in place.
- 27:45Speaker 2: I'm grateful to be a vessel, and I'm grateful for
- 27:48Speaker 2: everyone that tune in and share and get something. I
- 27:54Speaker 2: pray that you take something away from what we share,
- 27:58Speaker 2: so I'll see you guys back here on tomorrow. I
- 28:00Speaker 2: pray that your day is blessed beyond what you can
- 28:02Speaker 2: see in the natural. And y'all hold fast to his word.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Understand that his word is true. His word is not
- 28:11Speaker 2: going to return to him. Boy, y'all, he's gonna watch
- 28:14Speaker 2: over that word. And two it's perfected and performed in
- 28:16Speaker 2: our life. No matter how you try to run, no
- 28:19Speaker 2: matter how you try to hide, you cannot run or
- 28:22Speaker 2: hide from him because he will get you. He look,
- 28:26Speaker 2: he ain't even got to come. He can cause a
- 28:29Speaker 2: storm to raise up wherever you are. So just know,
- 28:34Speaker 2: I would rather be in his will and walking in
- 28:37Speaker 2: his path than doing what I want to do. So
- 28:42Speaker 2: I pray that y'all have a great day and I
- 28:44Speaker 2: will see y'all back here on tomorrow.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Y'all be blessed.
