- 0:35Speaker 1: This is the Mob Guys on KSCV Radio, the voice
- 0:41Speaker 1: of Texas. The live stream is probably going to take
- 0:44Speaker 1: a segment to get going because I don't think my.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Computer is connecting to the Internet. I don't know why.
- 0:49Speaker 1: That's probably just a me issue. It's probably not an
- 0:51Speaker 1: anybody else issue. I got to reset this and fix this.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But until I do that, oddly enough, my camera cannot
- 0:57Speaker 1: connect to the place it needs to connect to for
- 0:59Speaker 1: you to see us. So we will get that fixed.
- 1:01Speaker 1: But at least you can hear us. on the internet
- 1:03Speaker 1: and all the other places. One more place to check
- 1:06Speaker 1: out the show. But I am Craig Colonnades. Wayne Dolcefino
- 1:09Speaker 1: is on special assignment. I do want to start off
- 1:12Speaker 1: by talking again about the Texas Faith Festival that is
- 1:16Speaker 1: coming up because we will be there on Friday. And
- 1:19Speaker 1: I'm very much looking forward to it. And Brandon Gill
- 1:22Speaker 1: is the biggest guest of the Texas Faith Fest that'll
- 1:26Speaker 1: be there. But there's a lot of other really cool
- 1:28Speaker 1: people that will be having conversations, hopefully with myself, I
- 1:32Speaker 1: think Chris X will be there on Saturday, so he'll
- 1:34Speaker 1: do some of those conversations too, I imagine, with people.
- 1:38Speaker 1: But it should be a really great thing. Mays Middleton,
- 1:41Speaker 1: Maga Mays is one of the guests that will be there.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And then there's a really amazing individual that will be
- 1:48Speaker 1: a part of this. And actually what's really cool about
- 1:51Speaker 1: this person, as I tell you a little bit more
- 1:53Speaker 1: about her, is that our owner, Dan Patrick, did a
- 1:58Speaker 1: podcast with her on his show.
- 2:00Speaker 2: That went insanely viral.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And the Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, whose podcast does not
- 2:07Speaker 1: have a direct affiliation with the station, but nonetheless is
- 2:10Speaker 1: something that we, I watch constantly. Like he's had a
- 2:14Speaker 1: lot of very successful episodes. His episode with the President
- 2:18Speaker 1: of the United States was very big. So I highly
- 2:21Speaker 1: recommend you go check out Lieutenant Dan, which is a
- 2:24Speaker 1: hilarious name for the podcast.
- 2:26Speaker 2: But that is on YouTube.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And I think he's got his own website and all
- 2:30Speaker 1: over the place. I think we share it on KSEV
- 2:33Speaker 1: Radio's YouTube page as well. So you can find the
- 2:36Speaker 1: show there. But he had a conversation with a woman.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Her name is Bonnie Wallace, who has stood up and
- 2:42Speaker 1: fought so many times when people have tried to force
- 2:46Speaker 1: her to do things she shouldn't do or that she
- 2:49Speaker 1: doesn't think she should do from a faith standpoint. And
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's one of the bigger podcasts for the lieutenant governor.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I know Bonnie is Wallace is a name that people
- 2:58Speaker 1: probably know here in Texas. But I will also say that,
- 3:03Speaker 1: to be fair, names like President Trump are much bigger
- 3:08Speaker 1: on a national stage, on an international stage. And a
- 3:10Speaker 1: lot of the audience you get on the Internet is
- 3:13Speaker 1: well beyond just where you are locally. Like one of
- 3:16Speaker 1: the values is a silly thing to say, but I'm
- 3:18Speaker 1: going to say it. One of the values to us
- 3:20Speaker 1: at this radio station, pushing ourselves further and further into
- 3:24Speaker 1: the digital world is, than we had been for a
- 3:26Speaker 1: long time, is to enhance our audience, maybe even beyond Houston,
- 3:29Speaker 1: beyond Texas, to anybody that might have some interest or
- 3:34Speaker 1: at times, it seems, wants to get very angry about
- 3:37Speaker 1: the things that we say and talk about on this station,
- 3:40Speaker 1: which I find amusing that people get as angry as
- 3:43Speaker 1: they do as often as they do at us. We
- 3:45Speaker 1: don't get a lot of comments, but the comments we get,
- 3:48Speaker 1: more of them are liberal crazy people than actually conservatives
- 3:52Speaker 1: who agree with us. And KSEV Radio is our social
- 3:56Speaker 1: media account on most social media platforms. I think it's
- 3:59Speaker 1: KSEV AM 700 or something like it on Facebook. But
- 4:04Speaker 1: I also wonder if those people are bots because it's
- 4:07Speaker 1: sort of uncanny that if we put up a video
- 4:10Speaker 1: or some sort of commentary on a news story that
- 4:13Speaker 1: very quickly there are a few random looking accounts that
- 4:18Speaker 1: will say how wrong we are. I find that to
- 4:21Speaker 1: be fascinating that there's not a lot of those. There's
- 4:24Speaker 1: just some of those and they come out exactly the
- 4:26Speaker 1: way that they come out.
- 4:27Speaker 2: It just it makes you wonder how that's even possible.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You know, like how these individuals can all feel the
- 4:34Speaker 1: way that they feel and find our videos as quickly
- 4:37Speaker 1: as they find them every time they get published.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Like they're very loyal subscribers to me.
- 4:43Speaker 1: But anyway, nonetheless, I wanted to talk a little bit
- 4:44Speaker 1: more about Lieutenant Dan's podcast to start the show. And
- 4:48Speaker 1: no one's telling me to do this. There's there's I
- 4:50Speaker 1: just am individually a fan. of the Lieutenant Governor's show
- 4:55Speaker 1: on social media. But I will say again that you
- 4:57Speaker 1: have to check out the episode where he has a
- 4:59Speaker 1: conversation with Bonnie Wallace because it's a really interesting episode.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I think it's titled What's in Your Child's School Library?
- 5:08Speaker 1: And it went very, very viral, as I said before,
- 5:13Speaker 1: to the tune of like about half a million plus
- 5:17Speaker 1: people that watched it.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And his President Trump interview had 1.4. million people.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And that's a long form interview that he does. He's
- 5:25Speaker 1: got a bunch of other ones that are up recently.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I think there's a 9-11 survivor that's going to the
- 5:33Speaker 1: Pentagon again that has an episode up that's got like
- 5:35Speaker 1: half a million.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's just really interesting. But again, the whole.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Point of this and the reason to start the show
- 5:41Speaker 1: here is to reference the value, the importance of faith
- 5:45Speaker 1: fest and also the backdrop of where it's happening. So
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'll say one last thing. The Faith Festival is happening
- 5:53Speaker 1: in Austin. And if you've been paying attention to any
- 5:56Speaker 1: of the news over the last two days, or I
- 5:59Speaker 1: guess three, counting Sunday night, you know that there's some
- 6:03Speaker 1: crazy stuff going on in Austin. I was watching it
- 6:05Speaker 1: last night on like a live stream on the Internet
- 6:08Speaker 1: where there were people protesting and angry in the street
- 6:11Speaker 1: because of the ICE-involved shooting. The person who was shot
- 6:14Speaker 1: is alive. They were critically injured, but I think they
- 6:18Speaker 1: survived it. So I don't know the extent of the
- 6:21Speaker 1: injuries or any of that. But the person who was
- 6:24Speaker 1: shot is not dead. They're alive, as far as I know,
- 6:28Speaker 1: as far as I understand. And they're going to make
- 6:29Speaker 1: a recovery. So that part of the story is good.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Another part of the story that's not being argued by
- 6:35Speaker 1: anyone in Austin specifically is that the individual tried to run,
- 6:40Speaker 1: whether that was in a car or on foot, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: think is still up for discussion. Law enforcement is one
- 6:47Speaker 1: version of a story that a lot of people like
- 6:48Speaker 1: me are are more likely to believe than, say, the
- 6:51Speaker 1: liberal crazy people out there or the insane lawyers who
- 6:56Speaker 1: get involved in this that represent people on the other side.
- 6:58Speaker 2: But there's debate there.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you I definitively know because
- 7:02Speaker 1: I didn't see it, and we'll wait and find out
- 7:04Speaker 1: what actually occurred. But nonetheless, it's interesting that the Faith
- 7:09Speaker 1: Festival will be happening now in Austin, and the backdrop
- 7:12Speaker 1: will be some of that protesting. I don't know if
- 7:14Speaker 1: it'll wind up being at that event. I can't imagine
- 7:17Speaker 1: it will be. because that event is more about faith
- 7:20Speaker 1: than about politics. But there are people, especially in a
- 7:24Speaker 1: left-leaning city, as left as Austin is, that are up
- 7:27Speaker 1: in arms and mad. And I've talked about this before,
- 7:30Speaker 1: so I'll say it quickly. And I think it wraps
- 7:33Speaker 1: all the different topics in the start of the show
- 7:36Speaker 1: together as best as I can do it. But the
- 7:39Speaker 1: last thing I believe, and I believe this no matter
- 7:42Speaker 1: what people say to me.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Like, honestly, I believe this to a.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Degree that's probably inappropriate. that there's a lot of people
- 7:49Speaker 1: who are so mad at something and that something is
- 7:53Speaker 1: not politics, that something is not, you know, their desire
- 7:57Speaker 1: to watch dudes play women's sports, because some of it's
- 8:00Speaker 1: just ludicrous. But I believe they're so mad about something else,
- 8:03Speaker 1: something more personal, more in their everyday life, that that
- 8:06Speaker 1: anger is just coming out. And one of the easiest
- 8:09Speaker 1: places for it to show up and one of the
- 8:11Speaker 1: places that I think the Internet and social media might
- 8:14Speaker 1: cultivate it is politics.
- 8:17Speaker 2: The politicians want it that way. The social media sites
- 8:19Speaker 2: want it that way.
- 8:21Speaker 1: A lot of the sites that are on the left
- 8:22Speaker 1: want to push the lefties to be crazier, and they
- 8:25Speaker 1: want to convince the lefties that they think what everybody
- 8:28Speaker 1: else thinks when that's not necessarily true, more often than not.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But I just so often believe when I see the
- 8:35Speaker 1: crazy people go out there and get angry, or, for example,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the people that go to some of our social media
- 8:40Speaker 1: posts and get mad at our content, that they have
- 8:44Speaker 1: to be mad about something more personal.
- 8:47Speaker 2: And maybe that's just simply struggle.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Because I do believe that the younger generation right now
- 8:53Speaker 1: of adults, of people who are in their, say, 20s
- 8:55Speaker 1: and 30s and living life maybe differently than they expected,
- 8:59Speaker 1: differently than they were told they were going to live it,
- 9:01Speaker 1: which is not the fault of society as much as
- 9:04Speaker 1: it's the fault of them thinking they weren't going to
- 9:06Speaker 1: have to work to get whatever it is they wanted.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But I think there's a lot of young people who
- 9:10Speaker 1: don't have the stuff they want. They don't have the
- 9:13Speaker 1: means to get it. They don't have the amount of
- 9:16Speaker 1: money necessary, the job necessary. We can go down the list,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and those people are so angry that they come and
- 9:23Speaker 1: yell and scream in the world of politics because, as
- 9:26Speaker 1: Wayne has told you over the last couple days, yesterday
- 9:29Speaker 1: and I think last week, these people also want to
- 9:32Speaker 1: be given something for free, and a lot of them
- 9:35Speaker 1: are not being given anything for free. All right, we've
- 9:37Speaker 1: got to take a break. After the first break, we'll
- 9:39Speaker 1: come back. We'll play audio and stuff like we normally do.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I've got to fix a thing on my computer so
- 9:43Speaker 1: it works appropriately. But this is KSEV Mornings and the
- 9:49Speaker 1: mob guys, as we call ourselves. I am Craig colonies.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He is on special assignment, Wayne Dolcefino. I'm working up
- 9:57Speaker 1: coming up next on the voice of Texas.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Catch Chris X Radio weekdays at 4, right here on
- 10:27Speaker 3: The Voice of Texas.
- 10:29Speaker 4: James Tallarico's lesbian minister, Babs Miller, was caught on camera
- 10:33Speaker 4: saying out loud the Democrats' little secret to get elected.
- 10:36Speaker 5: And I can guarantee you that once he gets.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Elected, he'll change his tune back to where he was.
- 10:42Speaker 5: If it helps him win.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Spoiler alert, that's exactly what he'll do. Democrats always do.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Chris X Radio, weekdays 4 till 6, right here on
- 10:53Speaker 3: The Voice of Texas.
- 10:55Speaker 7: For many years, the Pine Box has been helping families
- 10:58Speaker 7: gain insight into the often confusing and extremely expensive task
- 11:02Speaker 7: of arranging a loved one's funeral. I have worked with
- 11:05Speaker 7: Pine Box in the death of two family members because
- 11:08Speaker 7: I know I can trust Chip Beresford at the Pine Box.
- 11:12Speaker 8: He's the owner.
- 11:12Speaker 2: To be sure that he.
- 11:13Speaker 7: Walks me through that process and that I am prepared
- 11:18Speaker 7: for the funeral and that I get the quality I
- 11:21Speaker 7: seek without breaking the budget.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Because it's a very difficult thing.
- 11:26Speaker 7: No one wants to feel like a cheapskate handling a
- 11:28Speaker 7: funeral of a loved one. But you also can't afford
- 11:31Speaker 7: to go broke either. You know, funerals are statistically the
- 11:33Speaker 7: third largest expense in someone's life. The Pine Box sells
- 11:37Speaker 7: the same caskets and funeral merchandise that is offered at
- 11:40Speaker 7: funeral homes, but at a tremendous savings. And delivery is
- 11:43Speaker 7: immediate and free within the Houston area. Visit their website, thepinebox.com,
- 11:47Speaker 7: or call Chip directly at 1-888-PINE-BOX.

- 11:53Speaker 9: The Pine Box.

- 13:27Speaker 1: on the dollar? Find out how on the Checker Pro

- 13:34Speaker 1: one of America's best kept investment secrets.
- 13:37Speaker 9: That's Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. and now Sundays at
- 13:39Speaker 9: 4 p.m. here on AM 700 KSEV and KSEVradio.com.
- 13:45Speaker 10: KSEV and its advertisers want to thank you, the listeners,
- 13:48Speaker 10: for all your continued support. Without you supporting our advertisers,
- 13:52Speaker 10: there would not be a Voice of Texas. We stand
- 13:54Speaker 10: behind our clients, and if you're looking to boost and
- 13:57Speaker 10: grow your business, join the great team at KSEV and
- 14:00Speaker 10: its loyal audience by calling a member of our sales
- 14:02Speaker 10: staff at 281-588-4800.
- 14:03Speaker 11: That's 281-588-4800.
- 14:03Speaker 10: KSEV, loyal listeners, and dependable advertisers are the Voice of Texas.
- 14:28Speaker 1: KSEV Mornings on The Voice of Texas. My name is
- 14:32Speaker 1: Craig Colonese. Wayne Dolcefino is on special assignment. I will
- 14:37Speaker 1: say quickly, we had a crazy power outage here at
- 14:39Speaker 1: the radio station yesterday. If you were listening to Chris
- 14:42Speaker 1: X's radio show, you probably heard him talk about that
- 14:45Speaker 1: a little bit. I imagine they talked about it a lot.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But everything went down. I think we're still having some
- 14:51Speaker 1: technical difficulties that we are fixing. So if you are
- 14:55Speaker 1: listening on the radio, awesome. If you're trying to listen
- 14:57Speaker 1: on the Internet and it's not functioning the way that
- 14:59Speaker 1: you expect it to, we promise to get that fixed
- 15:03Speaker 1: relatively soon. But it seems that some of our equipment
- 15:05Speaker 1: in the studio is no longer working the way it's
- 15:08Speaker 1: supposed to, although I can fix it a different way.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I just also have to be on the radio at
- 15:13Speaker 1: the moment. I want to talk about Tallarico and I
- 15:17Speaker 1: want to talk about the stuff that's gone viral about Tallarico.
- 15:19Speaker 1: And I don't want to play the audio again. You've
- 15:22Speaker 1: heard Babs Miller, his one of his pastors. I think
- 15:27Speaker 1: the main pastor at the Presbyterian Church that he goes to, Tallarico,
- 15:31Speaker 1: near Austin. You've also heard some other people that are
- 15:34Speaker 1: either closely tied to big super PACs that are benefiting
- 15:39Speaker 1: the Tallarico campaign, people that are actually more closely tied
- 15:44Speaker 1: to the campaign itself.
- 15:46Speaker 2: There has been a.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Lot of viral video and audio recently of some of
- 15:50Speaker 1: the people that are saying exactly the thing that That
- 15:54Speaker 1: I guess the right is trying to warn voters about.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And that is that Tallarico is lying right now. And
- 16:00Speaker 1: this is it's it's funny because there's two reasons that
- 16:04Speaker 1: I find this amusing and I want to laugh about it.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The first one is, of course, he's lying.
- 16:08Speaker 2: He's a politician. They all lie.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But the way that Tallarico is going about trying to
- 16:13Speaker 1: pretend that he's normal. that his opinions are more closely
- 16:17Speaker 1: tied to what Texans believe and not radically as far
- 16:21Speaker 1: on the left as they actually are because he's got
- 16:24Speaker 1: a bunch of tape of him in certain political moments,
- 16:30Speaker 1: whether that's on certain committees, having conversations where he himself
- 16:34Speaker 1: is saying the crazy thing in a political atmosphere. This
- 16:39Speaker 1: is not earlier in his career before he's a politician.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This wasn't something he was trying to say to radically
- 16:44Speaker 1: get attention. Like it just seems to be the stuff
- 16:47Speaker 1: he genuinely believes. And he's he's espousing the nonsense. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: now he's claiming that his opinions are totally different. And
- 16:54Speaker 1: what's amazing to me is that even as these candid
- 16:58Speaker 1: camera videos are coming out, it seems as though this
- 17:01Speaker 1: message is not breaking through to the other side. It
- 17:04Speaker 1: seems as though a lot of people it's the Hunter
- 17:06Speaker 1: Biden laptop all over again. Or you name the thing,
- 17:10Speaker 1: COVID and how many people on the right are warned
- 17:14Speaker 1: about all kinds of things related to the reactions to
- 17:17Speaker 1: the covid, the vaccine, the whatever have you, and how
- 17:21Speaker 1: now a bunch of the data that has come out
- 17:23Speaker 1: from the science places that told a lot of people
- 17:27Speaker 1: that they were ignoring science. Those science places have validated
- 17:32Speaker 1: the feeling of the people who didn't want to go
- 17:34Speaker 1: get a vaccine. It hasn't definitively said that, like, you know,
- 17:38Speaker 1: the crazy side in that story was wrong. But it's
- 17:41Speaker 1: come a lot closer to say that they really didn't
- 17:43Speaker 1: know anything and that a lot of times they pretended
- 17:45Speaker 1: to know stuff that they were either blatantly wrong about
- 17:48Speaker 1: or that they definitely oversold the American people. All things masking,
- 17:53Speaker 1: social distancing, you name it. So it's just it's just
- 17:56Speaker 1: that version of a thing all over again. And so
- 17:59Speaker 1: I guess the theme of the show and it kind
- 18:01Speaker 1: of inspired me. I'll be honest about this. Wayne did yesterday.
- 18:07Speaker 1: in some of the conversations we had both on the
- 18:09Speaker 1: air and off the air with Wayne Dolcefino, because a
- 18:12Speaker 1: lot of what he was saying, if you caught the
- 18:15Speaker 1: show yesterday, was that Republicans and conservatives need to change
- 18:19Speaker 1: what their message is. They don't need to necessarily change
- 18:23Speaker 1: what their actual behaviors are from a policy standpoint, from
- 18:27Speaker 1: the things they do when they're put in power, but
- 18:30Speaker 1: they need to transform how that message is being delivered
- 18:33Speaker 1: because it's too easily ignored and And I don't know
- 18:37Speaker 1: that I can say it that simplistically or that Wayne
- 18:40Speaker 1: was intending to say it that simplistically the other day,
- 18:42Speaker 1: because I don't think either one of us believe that
- 18:46Speaker 1: as easily as I just stated it, because it's more
- 18:48Speaker 1: than just change your position.
- 18:49Speaker 2: You can't give in.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You can't bend a knee to the left and the
- 18:53Speaker 1: things that they demand, the things that make them as
- 18:56Speaker 1: crazy as they are.
- 18:57Speaker 2: You just can't.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And so you have to find a way to get
- 19:02Speaker 1: the message to be heard by more people without them
- 19:05Speaker 1: easily trying to paint the broad brush of you being
- 19:10Speaker 1: hateful or racist or sexist or whatever the ist is
- 19:15Speaker 1: to make people radically hate you, to make someone as
- 19:18Speaker 1: radically far to the left as they are to try
- 19:21Speaker 1: to and then successfully, unfortunately, kill Charlie Kirk, but try
- 19:25Speaker 1: to kill the president of the United States, whoever.
- 19:27Speaker 2: They try to.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Do these things because they've been convinced by a media
- 19:31Speaker 1: machine that's mostly on their computer, not necessarily on TV anymore.
- 19:36Speaker 2: And it's not that TV isn't trying.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I just don't think they're actually in as many people's
- 19:40Speaker 1: day-to-day information ecosystem as they used to be. I think
- 19:44Speaker 1: television used to be the go-to place for information. I
- 19:48Speaker 1: think there's a lot of reasons that it's not anymore.
- 19:50Speaker 1: But anyway, what I think is interesting about this is
- 19:52Speaker 1: as these platforms succeed in helping to radicalize people, they
- 19:56Speaker 1: continue to believe that they're fighting the good fight. That's
- 19:59Speaker 1: the only way that I can, in my own mind,
- 20:04Speaker 1: justify the idea that Texas could actually nominate or excuse me,
- 20:10Speaker 1: not nominate, elect Tallarico to be a senator. Because there's
- 20:15Speaker 1: so many things from candid cameras and all that stuff,
- 20:18Speaker 1: as I said before, that he just demonstrates he obviously
- 20:21Speaker 1: doesn't agree with Texans on.
- 20:23Speaker 2: And yet we're a couple months away. You can blame
- 20:27Speaker 2: it on money.
- 20:28Speaker 1: You can say the Paxson campaign didn't raise enough money
- 20:30Speaker 1: that they, I think Paxson himself would say, had to
- 20:33Speaker 1: go through a runoff in a primary race so that
- 20:36Speaker 1: they had more steps, so more spending. But I'll be honest,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I didn't see a lot of Paxton ads before. I
- 20:43Speaker 1: don't remember a lot of Paxton ads when he was
- 20:47Speaker 1: qualifying for the runoff in the primary. I certainly don't
- 20:51Speaker 1: remember a whole lot of ads for Paxton compared to
- 20:53Speaker 1: Cornyn when they were going.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Head-to-head in said runoff.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And now I'm finally seeing ads. I do finally see
- 21:00Speaker 1: Paxton ads. And I wonder if you do too. And
- 21:03Speaker 1: you can call into the show and let me know
- 21:05Speaker 1: if that's something that you are actually also seeing.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Because... you know.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Again, I just find it fascinating that we're at this
- 21:13Speaker 1: place that we're in right now in 281-558-5738, where.
- 21:18Speaker 2: We're as close as we are.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And from the outside looking in, when I was evaluating this,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you know, early on in living here, even watching as Crockett,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I think, was convinced that she was actually going.
- 21:31Speaker 2: To be the nominee, I thought it was a joke.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I thought there's no way either of.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Those people could truly represent Texas as a state because
- 21:38Speaker 1: they can't agree with the belief system that I thought,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and I think a lot of you listening to the
- 21:44Speaker 1: show believe, is a core component of living in the state,
- 21:48Speaker 1: of being a Texan. There's a lot of, and I
- 21:51Speaker 1: call it a belief system, but it's not all faith-based.
- 21:54Speaker 1: There's parts of this belief system that I think are
- 21:56Speaker 1: just simple, no-nonsense, rational, logical positions we have on issues.
- 22:03Speaker 1: The border is a more relevant discussion in Texas than
- 22:06Speaker 1: a lot of the rest of the country. because of
- 22:08Speaker 1: what an open border does to this state and what
- 22:12Speaker 1: maybe the design was in the first place to get
- 22:14Speaker 1: us to where we are now, where Tallarico has the
- 22:16Speaker 1: kind of chance he seems to have. Maybe that whole
- 22:20Speaker 1: open border thing was a part of that process. I
- 22:22Speaker 1: believe it was. I shouldn't say maybe. But just so
- 22:25Speaker 1: many parts of this to me, again, feel as though
- 22:29Speaker 1: when you look at it as a whole, when you
- 22:31Speaker 1: look at it on a macro level, which is what
- 22:34Speaker 1: I say, and I think I made Wayne laugh one
- 22:36Speaker 1: time when I used that word, But you look at
- 22:38Speaker 1: it from the treetops, from the top purview of it.
- 22:41Speaker 1: You just have to convince yourself that this race, that
- 22:43Speaker 1: this debate, that this moment for this state is about
- 22:48Speaker 1: something else. It can't possibly be about simple, logical positions
- 22:53Speaker 1: on topics because there's too.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Many of them. And I can go through the list.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Maybe we'll do that after another break.
- 22:59Speaker 1: We can go through the list of open border policies
- 23:03Speaker 1: that Tallarico wants. Men playing in women's sports, which is
- 23:06Speaker 1: a thing Tallarica wants. Transgender surgery on kids is a
- 23:11Speaker 1: thing that Tallarica wants.
- 23:12Speaker 2: There's so many of them. God is non-binary, which is
- 23:15Speaker 2: one of the big ones.
- 23:16Speaker 1: That any time I go to anything political in Texas,
- 23:20Speaker 1: I hear somebody say that. And I know that that
- 23:22Speaker 1: message is landing on the right. I know conservatives are
- 23:25Speaker 1: hearing it because we're saying it constantly. But I know
- 23:28Speaker 1: it's not seeming to work. And I'm not saying— I want
- 23:31Speaker 1: to be clear about one last thing before I take
- 23:33Speaker 1: a break, too. I'm not saying that I think Tallarico
- 23:35Speaker 1: will actually win. I'm not at that point yet. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: think Paxton will still somehow pull this out. I think
- 23:41Speaker 1: he has to. I think a lot of people who
- 23:43Speaker 1: might feel like you can stay at home and not
- 23:46Speaker 1: vote because Texas is a gimme for Republicans, they have
- 23:50Speaker 1: to go vote.
- 23:51Speaker 2: They have to show up. They have to cast their ballot.
- 23:54Speaker 1: If you're someone who's thinking you might be busy on
- 23:57Speaker 1: Election Day or leading up to it with early voting starting.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Soon, You got to not do that. You got to
- 24:04Speaker 2: not be busy.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You got to go do the part that we need
- 24:07Speaker 1: everyone to do to make sure that Tallarico doesn't win.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But it's just, it's the kind of thing to me
- 24:12Speaker 1: that I think, and maybe what we'll try to do
- 24:15Speaker 1: more of on the show, both Wayne and I, and
- 24:17Speaker 1: we talk a lot off the air, so maybe we'll
- 24:20Speaker 1: get there via an off-air conversation and then bring it
- 24:23Speaker 1: to you on air, is what the hell the actual
- 24:25Speaker 1: message is supposed to be.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Like, what is it supposed to be.
- 24:29Speaker 1: That actually is going to land in Because a lot
- 24:32Speaker 1: of people who listen to shows like this and stations
- 24:34Speaker 1: like this throughout the country are certainly here in Texas.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I don't know that any station is exactly like ours.
- 24:39Speaker 1: But people who listen to the things that I'm saying
- 24:42Speaker 1: this morning, I think already know how common sense the
- 24:45Speaker 1: actual positions are. They already know that part. They're like, yeah, yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 1: I know this. I know that we're the rational ones
- 24:51Speaker 1: and they're the crazy ones. Tell me why they're crazy
- 24:54Speaker 1: and why more and more of those individuals, that side
- 24:58Speaker 1: of the political aisle, seems to be winning out. And
- 25:01Speaker 1: is it just simply that people don't like Trump, or
- 25:03Speaker 1: is it something more than that, too? All right, we'll
- 25:05Speaker 1: take another break.
- 25:06Speaker 2: We'll come back. We'll fix some.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Audio issues, fix some technology issues as best we can.

- 29:05Speaker 2: KSEV Radio. Yeah, I saw it. 700 AM, The Voice
- 29:11Speaker 2: of Texas.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Russell telling me in my ear that because we're on Wi-Fi,
- 29:16Speaker 1: some of the video stream on YouTube and other places
- 29:19Speaker 1: probably looks terrible.
- 29:20Speaker 2: It does exist now.
- 29:22Speaker 1: It isn't really professional looking, so I don't know if
- 29:24Speaker 1: we should even keep going with it or stop doing it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't even know if we've actually played it. Internally,
- 29:30Speaker 2: we can see. They would look awful.
- 29:32Speaker 1: But the stream is up, and I think the stream
- 29:34Speaker 1: is working fine as far as the audio stream goes.
- 29:36Speaker 1: So it might actually be a radio show today, Russell.
- 29:39Speaker 1: We might not do a video show, a television show
- 29:43Speaker 1: that we do on top of it. And I'm not
- 29:45Speaker 1: sure how much audio I'll actually play. So you can
- 29:47Speaker 1: call in and be a part of the show if
- 29:48Speaker 1: you want to because we can talk about some of
- 29:52Speaker 1: the things I was already discussing, which includes Italo Rico
- 29:56Speaker 1: and his craziness and just the people who support him.
- 29:59Speaker 2: 281-558-5738, 281-558-5738.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I also want to talk about an appearance that Marco
- 30:07Speaker 1: Rubio made on Fox & Friends. He made it probably
- 30:11Speaker 1: an hour ago, and I have the audio, and I
- 30:13Speaker 1: can play it for you, but let me try to
- 30:15Speaker 1: do it without that for a couple of reasons. So
- 30:18Speaker 1: it's announcing a blockbuster security deal in Greenland, and Rubio
- 30:23Speaker 1: talks about how for a long time Greenland has been one.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Of several places where people.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Who'd want to do us harm, and that might be
- 30:31Speaker 1: economic harm or actual harm, but those people can be China, Russia,
- 30:36Speaker 1: and a lot of other operatives. They've had access to
- 30:40Speaker 1: way too many places too close to the United States.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Venezuela was a good example of that. Iran, a good
- 30:46Speaker 1: example of that. But certainly more so Venezuela, and in
- 30:50Speaker 1: this case, Greenland, as far as proximity goes to us.
- 30:54Speaker 1: But there have been people who've had access to things
- 30:57Speaker 1: that other countries seem to do a better job of preventing,
- 31:02Speaker 1: seem to do a better job of controlling the atmosphere
- 31:05Speaker 1: around them. And so one of the reasons, and this
- 31:08Speaker 1: is my opinion, that during the second term in office
- 31:11Speaker 1: for President Trump, he has been much more focused on
- 31:15Speaker 1: both the troll behavior, is that what you want to
- 31:18Speaker 1: call it, where he does things like he says, we
- 31:21Speaker 1: need to rename the Gulf of Mexico to be the
- 31:23Speaker 1: Gulf of America, Lake of America, We do need like
- 31:26Speaker 1: a river or something. We need some other stuff. An ocean,
- 31:30Speaker 1: I think, is the thing that he said. But nonetheless,
- 31:32Speaker 1: like part of the reason you're doing that is also
- 31:35Speaker 1: trying to send a message, at least to me, and
- 31:38Speaker 1: part of the reason that I haven't hated it as
- 31:40Speaker 1: much as some other people have, to the rest of
- 31:43Speaker 1: the world, the United States will function differently in defending
- 31:46Speaker 1: the territory around us from access to people that want
- 31:49Speaker 1: to do us harm. And there's a really good example
- 31:53Speaker 1: I can give you to demonstrate the differences here During
- 31:56Speaker 1: the Biden administration, if you remember, China flew a spy
- 32:00Speaker 1: balloon over our country and we didn't shoot it down
- 32:04Speaker 1: till it actually got over a body of water, which
- 32:07Speaker 1: was the crazy. And then we lost it, which, you know,
- 32:09Speaker 1: maybe a lot of us don't actually believe is what happened.
- 32:12Speaker 2: But nonetheless, that's what they said.
- 32:14Speaker 1: They're like, oh, we lost the thing that we should
- 32:17Speaker 1: have shot down way sooner than we will than we
- 32:19Speaker 1: did shoot it down.
- 32:21Speaker 2: And it was it was so much more profound than that, too,
- 32:23Speaker 2: to be honest with you.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Because in the world of Chinese spying on us, that
- 32:28Speaker 1: balloon flew over military.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Locations, and we just let it do that for whatever reason.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And I think somebody at some point claimed it was
- 32:37Speaker 1: like a weather balloon, but it was evidently a Chinese
- 32:39Speaker 1: spy balloon. And now we're doing things like saying we
- 32:42Speaker 1: need to rename bodies of water to make sure the
- 32:45Speaker 1: United States is not just protected from threats that might
- 32:50Speaker 1: try to access this side of the globe, but actually
- 32:54Speaker 1: protected from the ideology that that we're asleep at the wheel.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Because when they think they, being any adversary, thinks that
- 33:02Speaker 1: our country is asleep at the wheel, thinks we're not
- 33:04Speaker 1: trying hard enough to make the right deals to get
- 33:07Speaker 1: the amount of money that this country deserves to be
- 33:10Speaker 1: flowing into it and not flowing out of it to
- 33:12Speaker 1: all these other places. But anyway, when we do those
- 33:15Speaker 1: sorts of things, part of it is a demonstration that
- 33:18Speaker 1: the United States is only open for certain types of business,
- 33:21Speaker 1: both militarily and you know, economically. And that is, in fact,
- 33:26Speaker 1: a good thing. It's different than what we've had for
- 33:28Speaker 1: a while. I see we got at least one call.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I will go to Mike.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Mike wants to talk about the Senate race a little bit.
- 33:33Speaker 2: What do you want to say, Mike? Yeah, good morning.
- 33:36Speaker 11: So, yeah, you mentioned how we have to go vote
- 33:40Speaker 11: to make sure Telerico doesn't win. I think that's kind
- 33:44Speaker 11: of telling because there's nothing compelling about voting for Paxton.
- 33:53Speaker 11: I don't want more socialism and just continued increase in
- 33:58Speaker 11: the national debt. From what I can tell, the only
- 34:01Speaker 11: thing Paxton is offering is more socialism, taxpayer-funded.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I'm going to let you make your own point. You
- 34:12Speaker 1: said Paxton is offering socialism. Did you mean Tallarico?
- 34:17Speaker 11: No, I mean Paxton.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Tell me how you think.
- 34:22Speaker 1: The Paxson campaign wants to advance socialism and taxes.
- 34:26Speaker 6: That's exactly why I called.
- 34:28Speaker 11: Because he wants to make down payments on home purchases taxpayer-funded,
- 34:35Speaker 11: make those tax-deductible. He wants to make child care taxpayer-funded.
- 34:40Speaker 11: He's offering more child.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Tax deductions.
- 34:46Speaker 11: So all he's offering is more socialism, more taxpayer-funded programs.
- 34:52Speaker 11: Continue to increase the debt. We're over $ 41 trillion in
- 34:56Speaker 11: debt and climbing, and no end in sight. It's growing exponential.
- 35:01Speaker 11: We're spending a trillion dollars a year on interest, never
- 35:04Speaker 11: mind principal.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Okay, so can I stop you? Because I want this
- 35:08Speaker 1: to be an exchange. I want us to go back
- 35:10Speaker 1: and forth, if you don't mind. I'll let you talk
- 35:11Speaker 1: for a little bit. I'd like to talk, and then
- 35:12Speaker 1: you can talk again.
- 35:13Speaker 2: All right, Mike. I appreciate it.
- 35:15Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 35:15Speaker 2: You're welcome.
- 35:16Speaker 1: You said Paxton is someone that is advancing socialism.
- 35:19Speaker 2: And one of the ways you said it is child care.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So Paxton, as a attorney general, has gone after a
- 35:25Speaker 1: ton of fraudulent operations in the world of child care,
- 35:29Speaker 1: postpartum facilities. He saved Texas taxpayers a lot of money
- 35:34Speaker 1: by upending fraud.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And you because here's here's the.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Part that mystifies me and how we discuss this, because
- 35:40Speaker 1: we can go point for point and shot for shot
- 35:42Speaker 1: and try to debate whether or not Ken Paxton is
- 35:45Speaker 1: someone that would make socialism. I laugh as I say it,
- 35:48Speaker 1: because I think it's kind of crazy. more prominent in
- 35:51Speaker 1: Texas compared to Tallarico, because one of the two of
- 35:54Speaker 1: them has to be a senator. And is it your
- 35:57Speaker 1: position as well that as you say these negatives about
- 36:00Speaker 1: Ken Paxton, that you believe that Tallarico would do less
- 36:04Speaker 1: to advance socialist ideas in this state or in this
- 36:07Speaker 1: country as a senator? Do you actually think Tallarico is
- 36:11Speaker 1: further away from those policies? Because I don't know how
- 36:14Speaker 1: you come to that opinion with anything that Tallarico has said.
- 36:18Speaker 2: But go ahead.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You can go ahead and tell me how, when comparing
- 36:21Speaker 1: the two, your position on Paxton being the socialist actually
- 36:26Speaker 1: makes sense.
- 36:28Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm not saying Tallarico is less of a socialist. Actually,
- 36:33Speaker 11: I'm not familiar with any policies that he has to
- 36:38Speaker 11: increase socialism. But I do know that all I'm hearing
- 36:42Speaker 11: from the Paxton side is more socialism, more taxpayer-funded giveaways.
- 36:48Speaker 11: to people like the deductible home down payments and increased
- 36:55Speaker 11: child credit and things of that sort.
- 36:59Speaker 2: You said two things. Two things.
- 37:02Speaker 1: The Democratic Party as a whole is overwhelmingly socialist in
- 37:07Speaker 1: a bunch of its positions, and Tallarico has signaled from
- 37:10Speaker 1: a position of simple belief that he seems to be
- 37:14Speaker 1: lockstep with the democratic party a lot of those things
- 37:17Speaker 1: and if paxton were senator voting on issues in the
- 37:21Speaker 1: senate with republicans everything he's demonstrated about who he is
- 37:25Speaker 1: as a person is that he's aligned with president trump
- 37:28Speaker 1: he's gone after people as an attorney general that the
- 37:31Speaker 1: president complained about and won.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Those cases and when Biden was in charge.
- 37:35Speaker 1: This is why he's fundamentally different than Cornyn, by the way,
- 37:38Speaker 1: is Paxson has showed time and again that he's going
- 37:41Speaker 1: to play in a different sandbox than the corrupt version
- 37:45Speaker 1: of a sandbox that people didn't like and thought that
- 37:47Speaker 1: Cornyn was playing in. So, again, when you're when you're
- 37:50Speaker 1: saying this, you're couching the entirety of your belief that
- 37:53Speaker 1: socialism as a whole would be, you know, advanced in
- 37:57Speaker 1: Texas based on a home buying program that and a
- 38:02Speaker 1: child care program, and not at all evaluating any of
- 38:05Speaker 1: the ways that they'd pull back on tax and spending,
- 38:09Speaker 1: which is the core message of the Paxson campaign, is
- 38:13Speaker 1: how to not take a whole lot of our money,
- 38:15Speaker 1: because that's the core belief of the Republican Party, is
- 38:18Speaker 1: that we should pay a whole lot less in taxes.
- 38:20Speaker 1: And the Democratic Party, they always tell you they want
- 38:23Speaker 1: the rich people to do it, but they inevitably take
- 38:26Speaker 1: money from everybody. I mean, Tallarico voted for a state
- 38:29Speaker 1: income tax. How is that not worse financially for you
- 38:33Speaker 1: and I than Paxton?
- 38:36Speaker 11: Yeah, well, I mean, I'm not a Democrat and I'm
- 38:40Speaker 11: not trying to, I mean.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I understand. I'm just, I mean... Go ahead.
- 38:44Speaker 11: I hate to say this, but I think Joe Biden
- 38:47Speaker 11: has a special place in hell reserved for him. Sure.
- 38:50Speaker 11: And I really hate to say this because, you know,
- 38:54Speaker 11: but look what we're getting. We got another forever war
- 38:57Speaker 11: in the Middle East. Here we are spending... billions and
- 39:00Speaker 11: tens of billions again defending Israel. Did you know that
- 39:04Speaker 11: Israel's foreign reserves keep hitting record highs every month? We're
- 39:12Speaker 11: doling out tens of billions of dollars for Israel and
- 39:15Speaker 11: fighting their wars and sacrificing American lives. Meanwhile, their foreign
- 39:20Speaker 11: reserves go up, are hitting record highs while our debt,
- 39:25Speaker 11: while we're borrowing money to send money over there to
- 39:27Speaker 11: the Middle East, Our debt is... is skyrocketing, growing exponentially.
- 39:33Speaker 11: Their foreign reserves are growing. Why don't they spend some
- 39:36Speaker 11: of their money? Why are we funding? Why are we
- 39:38Speaker 11: subsidizing socialism in Israel? They have universal health care, subsidized education.
- 39:44Speaker 2: I want to come back now. Let me ask you this.
- 39:47Speaker 1: You think that the fight in Iran doesn't benefit the
- 39:50Speaker 1: United States at all.
- 39:51Speaker 2: It only benefits Israel.
- 39:53Speaker 1: The fighting with that country and the things that they
- 39:57Speaker 1: say out loud, like that they would like death to
- 39:59Speaker 1: all of us, the same way they'd like death to
- 40:00Speaker 1: everybody in Israel. You do believe, even though a vast
- 40:04Speaker 1: majority of leaders of this country, not just Trump, have
- 40:07Speaker 1: said out loud that they thought we should fight Iran,
- 40:09Speaker 1: we just weren't doing it, and Obama gave them a
- 40:11Speaker 1: pallet of cash. And I appreciate that you're saying you're
- 40:13Speaker 1: not a Democrat, by the way, because I don't know
- 40:15Speaker 1: who you're voting for in a Senate race if you're
- 40:19Speaker 1: talking about Pax and the way you're talking about him.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I don't know who you're going to vote for because
- 40:23Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 40:24Speaker 11: Probably a write-in, probably a write-in.
- 40:26Speaker 12: Okay.
- 40:26Speaker 11: I'm not going to choose the lesser of two evils
- 40:30Speaker 11: and just continue to get evil.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think you and I agree on quite
- 40:35Speaker 1: how evil or lack thereof Paxton is as a politician.
- 40:38Speaker 1: We might be able to come to more of an
- 40:40Speaker 1: understanding on how inconsistent is a nicer word I'm going
- 40:44Speaker 1: to use.
- 40:44Speaker 15: He is.
- 40:45Speaker 1: as a human, compared to me. But as a politician,
- 40:47Speaker 1: I have very few problems with Paxton. But I will
- 40:51Speaker 1: say this, because you intrigue me so much, Mike, and
- 40:53Speaker 1: I want to be as respectful as possible when I
- 40:55Speaker 1: say this, because you don't seem like a dumb guy.
- 40:59Speaker 1: You seem like a smart guy. I appreciate so much
- 41:03Speaker 1: the anger and the frustration you have in general with politics.
- 41:08Speaker 2: And I think a lot of people are there.
- 41:10Speaker 1: And I think a lot of people are definitely there
- 41:13Speaker 1: on the Republican side of the aisle and have been
- 41:15Speaker 1: there a long time. But I think a lot of
- 41:16Speaker 1: the Democrats are coming over into that tent. And so
- 41:20Speaker 1: some of what I'm seeing as far as advice for
- 41:22Speaker 1: like what to do, what do we do as a
- 41:24Speaker 1: society when we think the whole system's broken and no
- 41:28Speaker 1: matter who we put in, bad is going to come
- 41:31Speaker 1: from that. And a lot of what I'm seeing out
- 41:33Speaker 1: there that's being embraced by people that would typically vote
- 41:37Speaker 1: with me, vote conservative on some issues, is that they
- 41:40Speaker 1: just want to see the whole system blow up a
- 41:42Speaker 1: little bit. They want to put in the people That
- 41:44Speaker 1: might do even more damage than people that they're frustrated
- 41:47Speaker 1: with because, you know, having the system break apart might
- 41:52Speaker 1: fix it down the road. But we'd have to live
- 41:54Speaker 1: through that version of society while we do that. So
- 41:58Speaker 1: when you say you're going to write in a candidate,
- 41:59Speaker 1: not vote for either one, you know, whoever you write
- 42:02Speaker 1: in won't win. So you're just throwing your your vote
- 42:05Speaker 1: in the trash, but you're doing it defiantly and you
- 42:07Speaker 1: have every right to do it as an American. But,
- 42:09Speaker 1: you know, you're not going to vote for a winning
- 42:11Speaker 1: candidate and you're. But reluctance in this conversation to actually
- 42:16Speaker 1: address what Tallarico would do if he were a senator,
- 42:20Speaker 1: which would be far worse than anything that you're upset
- 42:22Speaker 1: that Paxton might do, is part of the thing that
- 42:25Speaker 1: doesn't make sense to me, not just for you, Mike,
- 42:28Speaker 1: but a lot of people, because I think there's a
- 42:29Speaker 1: lot of people who might do the same thing. They
- 42:31Speaker 1: might not vote. They might they just upset. But to
- 42:35Speaker 1: go back to it, I do think the war in
- 42:37Speaker 1: Iran benefits the United States significantly. regardless of how it
- 42:41Speaker 1: helps Israel. I think there's a definitive benefit to our
- 42:43Speaker 1: country in fighting the regime in charge in that country.
- 42:47Speaker 1: He's playing music on me, Mike. Is there anything else
- 42:49Speaker 1: you want to say before we have to take a
- 42:50Speaker 1: break and go?
- 42:53Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, we had Iran at 3.7 percent uranium enrichment.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Now they're at 60 percent.
- 43:00Speaker 2: That was before we were fighting them.
- 43:02Speaker 1: They were lying and evading, and the IAEA said they
- 43:07Speaker 1: were actually.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Look it up.
- 43:10Speaker 1: In 2025, the IAEA said that Iran was actually defiant
- 43:14Speaker 1: and outside of any of the demands that.
- 43:15Speaker 2: The IAEA had for.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Here, you can put them on hold. Please look that up,
- 43:21Speaker 1: because that's not false.
- 43:22Speaker 2: That's true. They were noncompliant.
- 43:24Speaker 1: With the requirements of the IAEA to investigate the amount
- 43:27Speaker 1: of facilities, the amount of centrifuges and everything that Iran
- 43:31Speaker 1: was hiding to enrich uranium. They didn't start enriching it
- 43:34Speaker 1: from 3 to 60 after.
- 43:36Speaker 2: The conflict started.
- 43:38Speaker 1: They eventually stopped hiding the fact that they were already
- 43:40Speaker 1: doing that. And that's information you can easily find on
- 43:43Speaker 1: the Internet. And this is the point. I know I'm
- 43:45Speaker 1: talking over the music. Russell, I'm sorry. Just real quick,
- 43:48Speaker 1: I want to make the point. The point to me
- 43:50Speaker 1: is a lot of people who get mad at stuff
- 43:53Speaker 1: refuse to do the research. of how the thing that
- 43:55Speaker 1: they're supporting by being mad about the thing that they're
- 43:59Speaker 1: mad at and then thus not supporting, the thing they're
- 44:01Speaker 1: helping is way worse.
- 44:03Speaker 2: It has more sins.
- 44:05Speaker 1: The sins on the side that you're going to refuse
- 44:07Speaker 1: to vote for that you'd normally vote with are lesser
- 44:10Speaker 1: than the sins of the side you're going to let
- 44:12Speaker 1: go ahead and win an election because you're sitting out.
- 44:15Speaker 2: We'll talk about that more. We've got Steve who called
- 44:17Speaker 2: in as well. Quick break. KSEV Mornings, The Voice of Texas.

- 45:07Speaker 15: we do matters. And we know that taking the wrong
- 45:09Speaker 15: road won't produce the best outcomes. Hi, I'm Kathy with
- 45:13Speaker 15: Baker Mortgage. And we want you to take the right
- 45:15Speaker 15: path when it comes to your mortgage. You know, we
- 45:18Speaker 15: live in a world of information overload, but always consider
- 45:21Speaker 15: the source. And these are not generally going to be
- 45:24Speaker 15: from your big bank or a random offer that comes
- 45:26Speaker 15: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a
- 45:29Speaker 15: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 45:32Speaker 15: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 45:34Speaker 15: with somebody who gives a you-know-what, whether or not you're
- 45:37Speaker 15: happy in the end. At Baker Mortgage, we do it right.
- 45:40Speaker 15: We haven't been around for 68 years because we're lucky.
- 45:44Speaker 15: We don't sell CDs, insurance, or anything else. We just

- 45:52Speaker 15: Call us at Baker Mortgage. I promise you'll be glad
- 45:54Speaker 15: you did. We're at 281-313-MOVE or go directly to bakermortgage.com.

- 46:31Speaker 2: KSCV Mornings.
- 46:32Speaker 1: 700 a.m., The Voice of Texas. We call ourselves the
- 46:36Speaker 1: Mob Guys. My name is Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino.
- 46:40Speaker 1: We are two Italians from the East Coast who are very,
- 46:43Speaker 1: very happy that we live in Texas now.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Wayne is on special assignment today. He's traveling.
- 46:48Speaker 1: He will probably be back on Friday, and we'll be
- 46:51Speaker 1: at the Texas Faith Fest.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I see we're getting more calls.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I don't usually do this, but I don't mind doing this,
- 46:57Speaker 1: and I know the station is sort of built around this,
- 47:00Speaker 1: so we'll just be a call-in show today.
- 47:02Speaker 2: If you want to do it, you can call us, 281-558-5738. 281-558-5738.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Steve has called in with comments about the Senate race.
- 47:13Speaker 2: What do you want to say, Steve?
- 47:15Speaker 6: I'd like to say, plant caller, plant caller. If that
- 47:18Speaker 6: guy has ever been a conservative, my mom is the
- 47:21Speaker 6: queen of EMA.
- 47:24Speaker 2: I like that. Tell me more, man. What else do
- 47:26Speaker 2: you want to say?
- 47:28Speaker 11: Well.
- 47:29Speaker 6: The two points that he brought up was the child
- 47:31Speaker 6: care credit and down payment on home situation. Those are
- 47:36Speaker 6: tax credits for somebody that takes advantage of that. It's
- 47:40Speaker 6: not a government giveaway. It doesn't add to the national debt.
- 47:45Speaker 6: We're not giving the conservative what taxes proposed does not
- 47:50Speaker 6: just flat dab give government money to someone. with their
- 47:53Speaker 6: hand down.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I know that I kind of just ignored
- 47:56Speaker 1: that point that he was making, but I can explain them,
- 47:58Speaker 1: and it sounds like you definitely know what they are.
- 48:00Speaker 1: The child tax credit, Ken Paxton has advocated for doubling it,
- 48:04Speaker 1: I think up to $ 4, 400 per year.
- 48:06Speaker 2: But that's a federal tax credit, as you said.
- 48:09Speaker 1: That people would apply for and have certain ways in
- 48:11Speaker 1: which they would qualify for it.
- 48:14Speaker 2: There's the funny thing to me, man.
- 48:16Speaker 1: The funniest part of the conversation is wasn't what he
- 48:19Speaker 1: was saying to try to attack Paxton. It was what
- 48:21Speaker 1: he was intentionally, or maybe he isn't even aware of,
- 48:25Speaker 1: leaving off the table to easily attack Tallarico for the
- 48:29Speaker 1: same stuff.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Like, Tallarico believes in way.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Worse stuff in the world of socialism and taking more
- 48:36Speaker 1: of our money and doing terrible things with it. Like,
- 48:38Speaker 1: simplistically stating, his policies would do way more to harm
- 48:43Speaker 1: my wallet, your wallet, all of our wallets, and enrich
- 48:46Speaker 1: more people in D.C.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 48:48Speaker 6: That proves he's a plant caller and eventually calling in
- 48:53Speaker 6: because his wires are completely crossed. They're backwards. I heard
- 49:00Speaker 6: Obama the other night or last week, recently, he stated
- 49:04Speaker 6: that the rich don't pay enough taxes and the super
- 49:08Speaker 6: wealthy actually pay no taxes. Well, if you follow the
- 49:13Speaker 6: tax codes, the wealthy and the big corporations, they actually
- 49:18Speaker 6: do not pay taxes. They figure out a way to
- 49:21Speaker 6: write everything off.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll say this in response, and I promise I'll
- 49:25Speaker 2: be real quick. It depends on the year.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Some years, those companies who find a way to not
- 49:29Speaker 1: pay a lot of taxes, the next year they pay
- 49:31Speaker 1: more because they don't have the same losses that they write.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 49:36Speaker 6: But let's make this point. Out of the last 60 years,
- 49:39Speaker 6: 50 years, the Congress has been dominated and ruled by
- 49:44Speaker 6: the Democrats. And they have set those tax codes as
- 49:48Speaker 6: they are right now.
- 49:48Speaker 2: That's true.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Except for what Trump has put in.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 6: And Trump's got some tax codes this year that big
- 49:55Speaker 6: manufacturing plants. The reason all this construction is going on
- 50:00Speaker 6: It's because there's a big write-off this year if you're
- 50:03Speaker 6: completed by December the 31st. Yeah.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Yeah, no, amen. I fully agree with you on that.
- 50:09Speaker 1: And here's the other funny thing that I think, and
- 50:11Speaker 1: I'll just leave you with this, and I'll let you
- 50:12Speaker 1: kind of respond to this last thing, too, Steve. We've
- 50:16Speaker 1: learned this lesson before that politicians on the left also
- 50:19Speaker 1: claim one thing and do a very different thing if
- 50:22Speaker 1: you give them power. Like, Obama's one of the better
- 50:25Speaker 1: examples of that. I know a lot of people in
- 50:27Speaker 1: 2008— who actually voted for him, who consider themselves very
- 50:33Speaker 1: Republican now.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I'm not among that group, anyone that thinks that I'm
- 50:36Speaker 2: talking about myself.
- 50:37Speaker 1: But I know people who are, who said they got
- 50:39Speaker 1: caught up in, I wanted to elect the first black guy,
- 50:42Speaker 1: or he seemed like a dude who was actually going
- 50:44Speaker 1: to try to help all of us. And we learned
- 50:46Speaker 1: definitively while he was in office how wrong that was.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Obamacare is one of several examples of how terrible things
- 50:53Speaker 1: went compared to what the promises were made. So an
- 50:56Speaker 1: eloquent Democrat doesn't actually create a valuable financial position for anybody.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I thought we learned this lesson, but it seems that
- 51:05Speaker 1: we keep having to reteach people that the politicians lie
- 51:09Speaker 1: and the things they actually do are profoundly different than
- 51:14Speaker 1: the things that they say they're going to do when
- 51:15Speaker 1: they're running for office.
- 51:17Speaker 6: Well, that's exactly why I called in to you listening
- 51:20Speaker 6: to the previous guy. You need to call these people
- 51:25Speaker 6: out and make everybody that listens to the show If
- 51:30Speaker 6: somebody doesn't call in and call these people out, then
- 51:34Speaker 6: people start hearing that and repeating that and accepting what
- 51:40Speaker 6: he said without challenging him.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Well, I think I did challenge him, Steve. I hope
- 51:45Speaker 2: you feel that. I did let him speak. I didn't
- 51:47Speaker 2: just interrupt him, but I did challenge him because his
- 51:49Speaker 2: opinions were stupid.
- 51:50Speaker 6: You did pretty good.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Thank you, Steve. I appreciate you helping out. Have a
- 51:54Speaker 2: good day. Thank you, sir. I'm going to move on
- 51:56Speaker 2: to the next caller. Thanks for calling in.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Carlos has called into the show, regular caller to a lot.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Although actually, Carlos, you know what? We can put you
- 52:02Speaker 1: on air quickly, but I think we only have like
- 52:04Speaker 1: a minute. So you should probably just hold on and
- 52:06Speaker 1: we'll get to you after. Can you hold on, Carlos,
- 52:09Speaker 1: for us to talk?
- 52:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I can hold on.
- 52:10Speaker 13: I'll wait.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Just hang in there, man, because I got a minute.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I know you and I talk for a little bit, too.
- 52:15Speaker 1: But Carlos, a fairly regular caller to the evening show
- 52:18Speaker 1: that I did here. Now a caller to the morning
- 52:20Speaker 1: version of the show that I'm a part of here today.
- 52:23Speaker 1: But I will say one other thing, because I do
- 52:25Speaker 1: think this is important. And this comes from my appreciation
- 52:29Speaker 1: for Charlie Kirk that I've gained after he was killed
- 52:32Speaker 1: more so than I had. I wasn't like a huge
- 52:35Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk fan. I didn't dislike him, but I wasn't
- 52:37Speaker 1: a huge fan of his until after he was tragically murdered.
- 52:41Speaker 1: And I went back and watched a bunch of what
- 52:42Speaker 1: he did. I like to let the left talk. I
- 52:46Speaker 1: don't always do it. If I think they're definitively lying
- 52:48Speaker 1: again and again, I'll interrupt them and even tell some
- 52:51Speaker 1: people they can't call into the show.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Until they tell the truth.
- 52:54Speaker 1: But I do like, especially with a new interaction, I
- 52:57Speaker 1: do like to be patient because I don't want my
- 53:00Speaker 1: argument to seem desperate. And that's the thing Charlie always
- 53:03Speaker 1: did that I thought was great. When he refuted the points,
- 53:06Speaker 1: he did it in a way he's like, I don't care.
- 53:07Speaker 2: If you believe me. These are just simple facts.
- 53:10Speaker 1: You come off better when you speak more calmly and don't,
- 53:14Speaker 1: you know, just interrupt and go crazy with people. But
- 53:16Speaker 1: we got to take a break. Carlos is going to
- 53:18Speaker 1: be one of the callers you can call in. I
- 53:20Speaker 1: think this is kind of turning into a call in
- 53:22Speaker 1: show today. On KSEV Radio, the voice of Texas.
