- 2:30up in Kentucky. You guys are all probably very familiar. If you're familiar
- 2:36with the dog man stories, you probably all heard about the land between the
- 2:39Lakes. There seems to be a lot of dog man activity that goes on
- 2:43up there, and Mark is here to tell some of his encounters tonight.
- 2:47After a series of odd paranormal events, Mark became interested in the paranormal cryptids
- 2:53and UFOs because of things that he's experienced. He embarked on a journey to
- 2:58understand all those things that he's encountered, all the cryptids, all the paranormal
- 3:02events, all the UFOs and so please help me. Welcome to the Cryptid
- 3:07Huntress Show tonight, my buddy Mark Maychek. Hey, Jessica, thank you
- 3:13for having me. Well, hey, Mark, thank you for being here
- 3:15tonight. Happy Halloween, Happy Halloween. Thank you. Yeah, I believe
- 3:22the veil is the thinnest tonight. So I figured, Hey, let's just
- 3:24let's talk dog man tonight. How about that and and some of your experiences?
- 3:30Yeah, absolutely, Well, Mark, I have not actually talked to
- 3:34you ever publicly on a show. I've never even seen you. I think
- 3:37I saw you on Barton's show, he on his channel. You did an
- 3:40interview at the LBO with him not too long ago. And because you don't,
- 3:45you don't. Yeah, you haven't really talked a whole lot about your
- 3:47experiences recently, other than with Barton that time. So tell my audience a
- 3:53little bit about your background, and let's get into some of your experiences tonight.
- 4:00H Well, as you, as you said, you know, at
- 4:02a young age, I started having adding experiences and a lot of strange things
- 4:09that were going on, and I just, you know, wanted to try
- 4:14to understand the things that I was going through, and it led me on
- 4:20a journey into investigating and looking into the subject of UFOs and then just the
- 4:30regular paranormal ghost type things, you know, because it seems like you knows
- 4:38as we as we talk about these subjects, they're all interrelated at some at
- 4:43some point. So during the course of my you know, looking into the
- 4:47UFOs, I started having spectral or ghost type encounters and that took me into
- 4:57that realm to try to understand that's And then later on I had a encryptid
- 5:09encounter or in humanoid bigfoot, whatever you want to call it, h encounter
- 5:13that led me into looking into that subject. My intent never was to you
- 5:18know, quote unquote looking for a dog man. It just kind of happened
- 5:24that way. But I've been doing this kind of research for a very long
- 5:30time. I tend to work in the background because I'm not so much interested
- 5:40in trying to convince other people that these things are real. More so my
- 5:48mode of operating has been to try to understand it for myself. Yeah.
- 5:56Same same, same here with me in my field research. You know,
- 5:59I'm also a field researcher and uh and I was always in the background myself.
- 6:03I never in a millionaire saw my podcast and like those, I didn't
- 6:09go public with my research for over ten years at all. I didn't want
- 6:15to talk about it. And plus my my team, we're all pretty secretive
- 6:17about what we did because back back when I first started doing the research,
- 6:24it wasn't as popular as Bigfoot, was not as popular as it is today.
- 6:28Okay, and uh and in these stories, and people didn't talk about
- 6:30it as much. Yeah, is that is that kind of where you've your
- 6:34head's been to, because that that's where I was for a long time.
- 6:39Yeah. I just you know, I never was real big into the whole.
- 6:46I'm not a storyteller first off, and you know, I mean,
- 6:51yeah, I can tell a story, but uh, that's not my that's
- 7:00not my avenue of It's not the road that I was traveling down. I
- 7:05was, you know, trying to determine what the truths, what the truth
- 7:11around these things could be. And you know, that's why I chose the
- 7:17tagline from my website that you know, Cryptoville is where the Truth Lives is
- 7:25because I'm not interested in all the fakery, all the chat, GPT generated
- 7:31stories and all that stuff. I want to know the truth. And you
- 7:38know, interesting thing about the truth is you have a lot of people that
- 7:43claim that they want to know the truth, but in fact they don't.
- 7:47They want to know the truth that they can that they can handle, or
- 7:50that fits into their paradigm of or their belief system and anything else side of
- 8:00that. You know, That's why we have so many people that get cast
- 8:03away into the realm of you know, oh, well, he's they're not
- 8:09telling the truth or they're making this story up. Is because a lot of
- 8:13it is because that person can't accept what that is being related to them.
- 8:20And it's very frustrating, you know, when when you're trying, when people
- 8:26ask you about your experiences, and then when you relate that to them and
- 8:33then they they might not instantly turn and say, oh, well you're full
- 8:39of crap or whatever, but at some point you make the determination that they
- 8:43don't believe what you're saying. It's very frustrating because you know you can't.
- 8:50The only thing that's going to make somebody believe something is for them to experience
- 8:54it themselves. And that's another thing that I'm that I've been real big on
- 9:01promoting in the whole time that I've been involved in this is don't listen to
- 9:07what I have to say, go find out for yourself, because at the
- 9:11end of the day, that's the only thing that's going to make you understand
- 9:13or believe anything about the subject. That's exactly what I used to tell people
- 9:20all the time. When anyone would ask me, is bigfoot real, Jessica,
- 9:26I'd say, well, yeah, and I knew that those people that
- 9:28were asking me were just waiting to make fun of me. Okay, I
- 9:31knew it, And I'd say, well, I believe I've experienced bigfoot,
- 9:35I've seen them, But you really need to put on get your on set
- 9:39of hiking boots, and you go out and go camp in and go hike
- 9:41in and find out for yourself, because it really is the only way people
- 9:46are going to, you know, get the experience for yourself. I highly
- 9:50recommend that myself. So I think we're twining. Okay, we both think
- 9:54along those same lines, but we're both also boots on the ground researchers and
- 9:58go out there, and we've been doing for a long time, you probably
- 10:01knowing it longer than I have. And and so that that leads me to
- 10:05yeah, just a little bit, uh, But that that leads me to
- 10:09the question of Okay, I I hear this is a statement first, but
- 10:15I hear a lot of stories that come out of the Land between the Lakes
- 10:16area. And I know that's one of your stopping grounds up there. And
- 10:20uh, and I have looked into the family who was allegedly murdered or massacred
- 10:28up there by dog men, and and and that's that's the the story that
- 10:33a lot of people know about the Land between the Lakes. Now, is
- 10:35there truth in that story in your opinion? And and and does that kind
- 10:41of set the tone for people being a little bit mystified by the Land between
- 10:46the Lakes? Well, I think the story in general sets a tone for
- 10:52you know, people men mystified about the area. And and irregardless of what
- 10:58my opinion is, there there is high strangeness that goes on in that area.
- 11:05In this area, whether you're in the Lbo proper or whether you're on
- 11:11the outskirts there, there is a lot of strange stuff that goes on.
- 11:16A lot of it is a made hush hush were put into the hush hush
- 11:24men and never mentioned and some of it, some of it, you know,
- 11:28is publicly shared with people. Now, as far as that event goes
- 11:35itself. You know, there were there were only just a few people that
- 11:43really actually spent time with Jan Thompson to try to garner whether or not there
- 11:50was factual uh information in her recounting of that event. And uh that was
- 11:58by myself and at at separate times, myself and Martin Nunneley. We we
- 12:07both spent time with Jan trying to determine, you know, whether the story
- 12:11was factual or whether it was you know, a fabrication. And you know,
- 12:18I spent a week with her, you know, every day I would
- 12:24go over and we would meet it, you know, and go look at
- 12:26different things, and you know, you can really the only way that you
- 12:33can determine, you know, the truthfulness behind some things is to actually spend
- 12:39more than just thirty minutes talking to somebody about it. You have to,
- 12:41you know, spend time with them and develop a a picture of their true
- 12:48character is probably a good way to put it. And there were My opinion
- 12:56is this regarding that that event. I'm not going to say that it's not
- 13:01true. I'm not going to say that it did happen. I'm kind of
- 13:05in that middle ground where there's enough about the story that points towards it being
- 13:13true, and then there's enough about the story that points towards it not being
- 13:20one hundred percent true. And some of those things that come into in the
- 13:26play are, for example, one thing, the day that jam was supposedly
- 13:35going to take me to the location of where this event took place. The
- 13:41first location that we went to, she was like, well, I don't
- 13:46know if this is the spot or not. And this looks right, but
- 13:52I'm not sure. And then we went to the historical the historically known location,
- 14:01and she was like, this looks like the right spot. And you
- 14:07know, because of you know, the cemetery being there and other factors that
- 14:11came in into the just the the environment, she believed that that was the
- 14:20correct spot. Now, if if I was relating a story and and I
- 14:24told you, you know, hey, I can take you to this spot,
- 14:28I'm going to take you to the spot, you know, and I'm
- 14:31gonna be one hundred percent sure that I'm taking you to the spot. I'm
- 14:35not gonna be unsure about it. So that's one one thing that that points
- 14:41in the in the in the direction that it that it is possibly not one
- 14:50factual. But likewise, I've talked to so many people in this area,
- 14:56and I've had so many people come up and and and when I've asked about
- 15:01this event, they've said, oh, yeah, that actually happened. But
- 15:05interestingly, once they found out, you know, what I was about and
- 15:11what my interest was in the story, oh well it never happened where they
- 15:16didn't want to They didn't want to talk about it. And that's another interesting
- 15:22factor that comes into play. Is you know, you've got these people that
- 15:30say that, you know, they talk to these people and you know they
- 15:33tell them this. And I'm not saying that that people don't give up information,
- 15:37but you know, I've lived in this area for twenty five years and
- 15:41I know how. I mean, I know how the people are. They're
- 15:46not just going to tell you everything you ask. They're not going to give
- 15:50you information like that. So, especially from somebody that's from outside the area,
- 15:58I'm right not really buying it. So the result of that was I
- 16:06just called it a draw. You know. I mean, I've talked to
- 16:08enough people that say that it happened, and I've talked to enough people to
- 16:11say that it didn't, and you know, the things that point towards it
- 16:17not being you know, legit. It's kind of there's not enough there to
- 16:22say one way or the other. So that's kind of where I was left
- 16:29with that. The flip side of all that, there's go ahead, no,
- 16:36no, you go ahead, go ahead. On the flip side of
- 16:38that, there is enough information that came out of my interactions with Jan that
- 16:47led me to believe that even if there were embellishments or you know, the
- 16:56story was grandized, a grandized in some way, that there may be parts
- 17:03of that are true. And that's a discussion for another another day. Those
- 17:12those things, because they're totally unrelated to this event. Okay, well,
- 17:22okay, so well, for my viewers who are watching tonight, if they're
- 17:25not familiar with the LBL family who was allegedly killed unalived for YouTube purposes at
- 17:34the LBL, that's that happened back in the early nineteen eighties, and allegedly
- 17:40there was a family, a mother, a father, two kids. Some
- 17:45say that there was an extra child there too, But yeah, the story,
- 17:49the stories have changed a little bit back and forth over the years,
- 17:53I'm sure, but allegedly a dog mannered possibly two, came in them killed
- 18:00them at a campsite, right Mark that's what. Uh, that's what basically
- 18:06the story is in a nutshell. In a nutshell, you know, I've
- 18:11I've you know when I when I say that I'm not a podcaster or storyteller.
- 18:18But one thing that I am good at is I do I do love
- 18:23to research. And one thing that I have researched is I've gone back and
- 18:27looked at, you know, old newspapers and news events from different sources and
- 18:37tried to, you know, determine whether there was anything, you know,
- 18:41during that time period that that that happened. And interestingly, one thing that
- 18:48I did come across is there was a there was a physical what am I
- 19:00trying to relate it as a library of sorts of physical newspapers that you could
- 19:06go look through that were from the early sixties up at the present. And
- 19:11at some point those physical newspapers were converted into digital format where you can access
- 19:18them online. And one thing that I noticed was in that conversion there was
- 19:26a whole lot of information that was stripped out of those newspapers. Oh suspicious,
- 19:34So why that happened, I don't know, but it did happen.
- 19:41So the things that you're seeing online aren't really the core or the full picture
- 19:48of what was reported in the news during those earlier years. Wow. Wow,
- 19:56Okay, Well you've done your research on that, and not only have
- 20:00you done your research, but you've had personal experiences out there. So knowing
- 20:07what you know and seeing what you've seen, you do think it's possible that
- 20:11dogmen potentially did attack of family. What do you think about it? I
- 20:15mean, other than your research, do you think it was possible? I
- 20:21definitely think it's possible. Now. Granted, the two times that I've ran
- 20:27into these things, I wasn't, you know, attacked, accosted or anything
- 20:33like that, and they were at a distance, not a great distance,
- 20:41but at enough distance where I wasn't like face to face with these things.
- 20:45And I can see where if you were to run up on one, you
- 20:51know, and be within close proximity to it, within arms reach or whatever,
- 20:55I could see the potential there, like with any wild animal or anything
- 21:02out there, for it to turn out to be a bad situation. So
- 21:12yeah, I can see where it's possible. Yeah. Well, it seems
- 21:18as though the majority of reports that I've heard and that I've taken from guests
- 21:22that I've had on my shows and in the general public. You know,
- 21:27we go out and take reports, and I've taught with sheriff's deputies here in
- 21:32the county where I live in Georgia, who have taken reports about people hitting
- 21:37were wolves that ran out in front of their car. They swear they're reale
- 21:40were wolves, or they never use the word dog man, they say wear
- 21:42wolves. But it was never like the people were being attacked or even felt
- 21:49that. They just were scared because they couldn't understand what they were looking at.
- 21:53But they weren't being violent against the humans. And I think that that's
- 21:59the majority of the stories that I hear. I mean, these days,
- 22:02on all the different YouTube channels, a lot of times you just hear about
- 22:06dog man attacks. You know, it's like the violent side of dog man.
- 22:10I hear that all the time, and I think that gets a lot
- 22:12of views on a lot of shows and so and I've been guilty of,
- 22:17you know, having shows where we're talking about dog man attacks, okay,
- 22:21because it's really interesting to look into. But how many dog man attacks could
- 22:25there possibly be? I don't. I don't know, because the majority of
- 22:29the stories I get are non violent. Well, you know, that's that's
- 22:33a that's a very interesting concept. And you know, I mean the thing
- 22:41about it is, you know, if if something like that were to happen,
- 22:47the odds of it being hushed up or covered up are far greater than
- 22:52it not being because I mean just the nature of it. I mean,
- 23:00what would happen if if somebody came out and put it in the news that
- 23:03oh, there was a guy killed by dog man or a werewolf in in
- 23:07the LBL and you know it was validated and what have you. You know,
- 23:15that would that would instantly people would be like, I'm not going over
- 23:22there right, Well, it would. It would cause a problem with the
- 23:26National Park Service and the state park services because that's those are revenue sources for
- 23:32the for the government and uh and they don't want people not to go there
- 23:34and go camping. But it's really at our expense because I part of what
- 23:41I like to talk about on my shows usually is I'd like to warn people
- 23:47about the dangers of being in the woods, especially by yourself, with all
- 23:51the missing for one one cases and the clusters that David Politis talks about in
- 23:55his book series. Because we experienced that, you know, on a first
- 24:00hand basis, not that anybody, any of my friends have gone missing out
- 24:03of these parks. But we're out there studying, trying to figure out wh
- 24:07where the sebell are going, uh, trying to get a grip on what
- 24:10kind of cryptids we're dealing with out there some of these parks, and and
- 24:14just across the forest across the south. So I think there's just a vested
- 24:19interest in keeping us in the dark about all this. I would have to
- 24:26agree. And you know, I mean there's there's a whole lot of reasons
- 24:29why that could be. And you know, I mean it's just which one
- 24:36is the correct the reason, you know, I mean naturally, Naturally,
- 24:40you know, if you're if you're raising these things up in a lab and
- 24:42you're you have to you know, if it gets to where once it gets
- 24:48you know too, you know, adulthood or near adulthood, you know,
- 24:53you're going to have to feed the thing, you know, so you know
- 24:59what a what a better thing to do than to turn it down into a
- 25:02national forest to where it can go out there and you know, hunt and
- 25:07and survive on its own, you know, I mean, it's a food
- 25:14source. Okay, Okay, I just I just remembered something. Mark I
- 25:18have some of my teammates that had gone up to the LBL a while back,
- 25:23and uh, and usually with a lot of these parks that we'll go
- 25:26into, they want you to make your presence known. You got to sign
- 25:30in, you need to put some money in the little things, you're going
- 25:33to stay in the in the little box. We're going to stay at the
- 25:34camp sites out there. But I believe they were telling me that at the
- 25:38LBL they did not want to know that they were there. Okay, Uh,
- 25:42there was They were like, no, you don't got to sign in,
- 25:45don't worry, you just go and and it was very suspicious to them.
- 25:48They were like, okay, well they don't want to have any trace
- 25:52of us being there, which which actually added to the mystery of the place,
- 25:57I guess, and it also gave them cause for concern, they said
- 26:00when they got in there a little bit. Well, it's definitely you know,
- 26:04I mean, if you look at most national parks. The I think
- 26:10the difference in it in the LBO and a national park is it's not an
- 26:15official national park. It's a recreation area, but you know, it's still
- 26:22managed by the Ford Service and Department of Agriculture, So it stands the reason
- 26:26to me that it would fall under that same guideline where you would have,
- 26:30you know, some reporting in there. And one thing that I personally have
- 26:34noticed is that there seems to be a trend where they're gearing more towards that
- 26:42when you go to one of the organized campgrounds or what have you, where
- 26:47they want you to sign in, where they actually log your license plate number,
- 26:52even if you're just visiting for the day or whatever. You know,
- 26:59So, I mean, you have to you have to weigh it, you
- 27:03know. I mean some people would be okay with that, some people wouldn't.
- 27:08Myself, you know, I'm I'm not in the business of broadcasting what
- 27:11I do or where I go, right, and I don't. I don't
- 27:18particularly care for that. But from their standpoint, if they're required two,
- 27:26you know, maintain some kind of record of that, then knock yourself out.
- 27:32But the whole thing with you know, dispersed camping or unorganized camping,
- 27:38yeah, for the most part, they don't. They don't want to know
- 27:41anything about what you're doing. The only thing they want you to do is,
- 27:45you know, abide by the rules, you know, as far as
- 27:48camping. You know, I think I can't remember what it is. You
- 27:52got to be so many, so many feet off of a road, so
- 27:56many feet away from a cemetery, you know, And that's an other thing
- 28:00that you got to look at from the whole perspective of you know, the
- 28:03LBL. There's two hundred and what is it, two hundred and twenty eight
- 28:07cemeteries in the place. So yeah, so I mean there's it's I mean,
- 28:18there are places that go camp without being near a cemetery, but that's
- 28:22a lot of cemeteries, it is. And dog men are commonly seen around
- 28:27cemeteries. That's just you know, Indian burial mounds and cemeteries are commonplaces to
- 28:33see dog men. That is true. Very interesting. I have a question
- 28:40for you. Okay, so you did mention a while ago, and we
- 28:42haven't even gotten into your stories yet. Okay, so I still got to
- 28:45hear those I can't wait. But but you had mentioned potentially these dog men
- 28:51being grown in labs. Okay, what do you think a dog man is
- 28:55the ones of the LBL particularly, do you think that they could be some
- 28:57sort of a government super soldier program or a breeding program or a government assets
- 29:04or are they natural? Well, my opinion on the thing is is on
- 29:14dog man in general, is I think that we're actually dealing with three different
- 29:18types. I think there are those that occur naturally. I think that there
- 29:23are those who are you know, the result of some kind of high strangeness
- 29:34linked to dark magic. And then you have the ones that are chimeric in
- 29:42nature, which are basically lab grown under human control to some degree. And
- 29:49then you know, I think that those those three genres of this this type
- 30:00creature, you know, uh, coming to play a lot more than we
- 30:07realize. And you know, for example, myself, my two two encounters
- 30:14where you know, I knew that that's what I was seeing, these two
- 30:18different These two creatures were totally different. So you know when I had one
- 30:27that I saw that that was straight up fan helsing type dog man and then
- 30:33the other one, you know, human type body, hair covered, human
- 30:40type body with a wolfish type head. You know that's those are, in
- 30:48my way of looking at it, two different types. Now, as far
- 30:53as how many types there are, I don't know. I know that the
- 31:00wonderful people in the community have come up with the different variants and all this
- 31:04stuff through the years. Oh, I have a picture, do you want
- 31:08to see it. I think we've got these are these are some of the
- 31:12different types. Hyena types, the van helsing types. I mean there's actually
- 31:18I think the top those might be those might be sasquatch up there. But
- 31:22yeah, there's there's different types and uh, they're they're all very organized.
- 31:26But but it's probably a lot bigger than that I would have seen. Yeah,
- 31:30but it's it's easier to categorize things when you're trying to explain your story
- 31:33to people. I guess and like your encounter. But with that, you
- 31:38know, uh uh, I make that assumption or I have that opinion based
- 31:45on the fact that I have seen those two different types. And I'll be
- 31:52the first to tell you, you know, the people that that say,
- 31:57oh, I want to see a dog man or I want to see a
- 32:01bigfoot or whatever. I've always another thing that I've always promoted is be careful
- 32:07what you wish for, because you just might get it. You know,
- 32:13once you see one of these things, you can't unsee it, and you
- 32:19have no idea how you're you're going to respond to the situation. So to
- 32:24say that you're going to respond in a way is is a total unknown because
- 32:37of the simple fact that you don't really know how you're going to respond to
- 32:39it until it, you know, until it happens, you know. I
- 32:44mean if you if you walk up on one of these things and you're like
- 32:47face to face to it or whatever, you don't know how you're going to
- 32:52respond to that, I wouldn't know how to respond to that. You know,
- 32:57do you try to run? You know? So I always tell people
- 33:07to be careful about what they wish for with with with these things, because
- 33:12you know, you just don't You never know what you're gonna get and you
- 33:15have no control over you know, how it's going to happen. You know.
- 33:21I've had I've had two encounters, as I've mentioned, and I'm fine
- 33:28with that. I could go the rest of my life and never see another
- 33:30one and be perfectly fine. So I just if I had to tell somebody
- 33:46something about that, I would say, just be careful because you really don't
- 33:54know how you're gonna respond to an encounter. Oh yeah, tell me about
- 34:05your first Encountermark, what what was the first time What was the first time
- 34:07you ever saw a dog man? So it was I was thinking about this
- 34:14the other day and it was I'm sorry about the dog parking. I have
- 34:17a little I have a little munchkin out there, and she's mean. So
- 34:30I was thinking about this the other day, and it was it was pre
- 34:34dear season, the month of September of I won't to say it was two
- 34:43thousand and nine or twenty ten, it was one of those two years.
- 34:50I had gone into an area where I was planning on hunting. And I
- 34:58went into the area, and to kind of give you a picture of it,
- 35:00there's kind of like a hill on this side, general sloping hill that
- 35:07slopes up about I would say maybe forty is degrees. On the right side,
- 35:16it's kind of bowl shaped and it comes around and it flattens out.
- 35:22There's some sparse trees. But in the middle of the field that I was
- 35:25walking in, there's a runoff. Well up on the tip of the runoff
- 35:34where the woods curved around, there is a spot up there where I was
- 35:39looking at hunting. So I knew that that runoff would have, you know,
- 35:45bare ground, So I went in there to look for deer tracks,
- 35:50and because I knew that what lived in that area, I was looking to
- 35:58see if I could find any bigfoot tracks. So I walked in walked up.
- 36:06I didn't see any any tracks that belonged to anything. So I walked
- 36:10through the edge of the woods and I turned around and I came back,
- 36:15and I was just walking along a different route within the same area of bare
- 36:20ground, and you know, trying to find tracks. And I got down
- 36:27to this certain point and I stopped, and I was looking around, and
- 36:31I kind of glanced up on that sloping hill and I was just standing there.
- 36:38And bear in mind, one thing I should have mentioned was that I
- 36:45had a camera with me, just a little digital camera, and because you
- 36:52know, if I found anything, I was gonna, you know, more
- 36:54so for the cryptid tracks, I was going to try to document it.
- 37:00So I'm standing there and I'm looking around and just I don't know how to
- 37:05explain this. I don't know how this works. But I knew that there
- 37:08was something around me because I can sense it. So I was looking around,
- 37:19and up on the sloping hill there was a bush that was kind of
- 37:28by itself, and then there was like maybe thirty thirty five forty yards between
- 37:35the trees, and it was you know broom stage grass, you know,
- 37:43growing up around it, so you know, and it was kind of knocked
- 37:45down in different areas. So when I looked up and I saw this bush,
- 37:52what I thought I was looking at it was a I thought it was
- 37:55a deer standing directly behind this bush, because you know how if you look
- 38:01at the underside of the neck of a deer, they've got that white spot.
- 38:07And it was looking straight at me, and I'm like, wow,
- 38:13the deer is just standing there looking at me on the top of that bus,
- 38:16and I was like, that's so weird. I was like just standing
- 38:21there watching him, and I was waiting for him to move, and he
- 38:22never did. And then this thing, what I thought was a deer,
- 38:29turned its head to the to its right, and when it did, I
- 38:32could see the side of its head, I could see its ears, I
- 38:39could see its muzzle, and the way I could describe it is it looked
- 38:47kind of cartoonish, kind of like Wiley Caywodie, but super huge. Wow.
- 38:55And on the side of its muzzle it looked like to me, it
- 39:00had taken it, like if somebody had taken its fingers, or it had
- 39:06taken its fingers and put it in something white, like some kind of white
- 39:10loamy soil or whatever, and just made like mars on the side of its
- 39:15fate snout more paint. Wow. Well that's kind of what it looked like
- 39:22to me. Wow. But I was like looking at it. I was
- 39:27like, I have got to get a picture of this, because if I
- 39:30tell anybody this, they're not going to believe it. So I was standing
- 39:34there and I was like trying not to move, and I had the camera
- 39:37in my hand, and as soon as I hit the power button to turn
- 39:43the camera on, this thing duck down behind the bush and I was like,
- 39:49oh crap, where did it go? So I was standing there.
- 39:51I was kind of scanning back and forth looking for it, and I was
- 39:54like trying to find it because I knew it was gonna pop up somewhere else.
- 40:00Well, I started looking and I didn't see it anywhere, so it
- 40:07went down behind the bush. It was down behind the bush for about,
- 40:10I don't know, thirty forty seconds, and then I was just standing there
- 40:16trying to locate this thing, looking all over the place, and I focused
- 40:22back on the bush, and when I did, I could see it.
- 40:23It was down on this ground, on the ground, on its belly,
- 40:28and it was crawling away from that bush. And the strangest thing. As
- 40:35I mentioned in my previous interview with Barton Uttley, the strangest thing about the
- 40:42whole experience was that as it was crawling away, I watched it cloak one
- 40:57of its legs. It's like started at its ankle or in the base of
- 41:02its foot, and it slowly was going up its leg. How that works,
- 41:08I don't know. All I can relate to you is what I saw.
- 41:15And by the time it got out of my view, it had already
- 41:17got up to its knee and was like mid thigh, and I was like
- 41:22thinking to myself, I was like, what in the heck did I just
- 41:24see? And then I was like I was kind of lost focus of it
- 41:30because it went out of you and I got to looking around, and I
- 41:34was like, it's starting to get dark. It's time to go because if
- 41:39it can cloak, you know, I'm not wanting to be out here in
- 41:44the dark with something that can cloak. And you know, that's basically that
- 41:52particular encounter. I never saw it again after that. It went out of
- 41:54my view and I just totally totally lost it and I was like, no,
- 42:01it's time to go. Row. Did that Did that prevent you from
- 42:07going back? To the LBO for a while, or did you go back
- 42:09and investigate the next day? I mean, what what was your thought process
- 42:14after all that happened, Well, that particular location. Just to clarify that
- 42:17that particular location and both of these encounters so that everyone is clear, they
- 42:23did not happen inside of the LBO proper, but they took place just on
- 42:32the other side of the lake from the LBL, on private property, Okay,
- 42:42in Kentucky, right, correct, Okay, So I would say straight
- 42:52line in that particular location, the lake is approximately I would say the lake
- 43:00is probably in the neighborhood of around four thousand feet wide, so I would
- 43:08say that I was probably a mile mile and a half from the LBL,
- 43:15not really not really that far. Yeah. So yeah, I just kind
- 43:22of I was like, no, it's getting dark. I'm not wanting to
- 43:24be out here with something like that, whether it you know, was just
- 43:28crawling off on his belly to go do his thing or whatever, I'm not
- 43:31interested in being out here with it. And I got out of there.
- 43:39Yeah. I've personally had an encounter with what my team and myself we believe
- 43:45was a cloak sasquatch that ran up and hit me on the back of my
- 43:49legs from behind, and so it happens. It happens. Now how they
- 43:54cloak, We're not sure, but I do believe that that does happen.
- 43:59It's almost like The Predator, you know, the movie The Predator. And
- 44:02is it some sort of technology? I don't know. I mean, some
- 44:07say that the Bigfoots have chlorophyll in their hair and they can kind of camouflage
- 44:12into the trees and the shrubbery and the surroundings, all the vegetation out there.
- 44:15So the same could be said for dog Man. Apparently, who's to
- 44:20say, Well, the interesting thing is is we don't know. We don't
- 44:28know, that's right, you know, we don't know. You know.
- 44:31Early in my days of research, you know, I thought about it like
- 44:34this. You know, if if these things are part of some kind of
- 44:40super soldier program or whatever, if what would you do, what would you
- 44:46put into it? You would put the best of everything that you could into
- 44:51it, right, So it makes sense to me that it would have,
- 44:55you know, abilities that are far beyond on what what we could probably even
- 45:05comprehend, you know. And then then the factor of, you know,
- 45:09one thing, I never hear anybody mention about the whole camera thing is you
- 45:17know, it is possible for attributes genetically to be amplified. So you know,
- 45:30take take for example, sense of smell. You know, if they
- 45:34take and they give this thing the sense of smell of a wolf. You
- 45:38know, a wolf can smell you several miles away, or it can it
- 45:45can smell miles away. But if that's that particular attribute is amplified, it
- 45:52could probably smell what you had for breakfast three weeks ago. Oh yeah,
- 45:57that's scary to think about. And and you know night vision, cloaking,
- 46:02I mean telepathy, right, being able to mind speak and uh, you
- 46:08know, enhance enhance capabilities when it comes to things. And I was going
- 46:12to say enhance human capabilities. But do you think that dog men have human
- 46:15attributes to them? Are they more dog like? Well? I think that
- 46:29because in my opinion, you know, we're dealing with three different types here.
- 46:35I think that there there may be some human genetics involved there on at
- 46:43least two of the types. Now, the naturally occurring uh dog men,
- 46:50I think they they could be just what they are, you know, and
- 46:57what that is I don't know. But you know, if you were going
- 47:00to genetically engineer something. It makes sense to me that on some level that
- 47:07it would have human human genetics involved, because you would want that reasoning and
- 47:13problem problem solve solving ability that that humans have some humans have let me rephrase
- 47:20that some humans. Some humans have that ability. But you know, and
- 47:28then and then there's there's other things that come into play too that that could
- 47:34be factors and why they would choose human human genetics to use in a in
- 47:38a camera like that, and and those things are you know, if if
- 47:47you were to ponder the the greatness of what humanity is, then you know,
- 48:04I mean, even if you were to look at it from a biblical
- 48:06standpoint. You know, according to the Word of God, humans are God's
- 48:13greatest creation, and that is because we were designed with free will and we
- 48:23have the abilities that we have, even though the majority of us have forgotten
- 48:30those abilities. You know, it just stands to reason that you would want
- 48:37to include those things and maybe try to amplify them as well into a chimeric
- 48:50type entity. And you know, as far as getting into the whole nephilum
- 48:57you know thing, you know, that's that's a discussion for another day,
- 49:02but it definitely is something interesting to think about. Yeah, well that's a
- 49:09that's a very interesting encounter. And uh, but that's not your only encounter
- 49:15you had. You had at least one more. Uh, do you want
- 49:16to tell us about that one? So this one, this was a little
- 49:21bit of a lengthy story. So during the time that I was living in
- 49:27that area, I was having repetitive bigfoot type activity. I had one on
- 49:43several several occasions that decided that it wanted to smack the back of the building
- 49:50that I was living in in the middle of the night and wake me up,
- 49:54and just different things, just all kinds of all kinds of different,
- 50:00strange, interesting things. So I'm sorry, I got a little bit of
- 50:07a sniffle going on. So in in the course of all that, I
- 50:13had contacted a good friend of mine and he was like, Hey, why
- 50:19don't you reach out to this guy. We just put this website up and
- 50:28see if you'd be interested in, you know, maybe adding your story to
- 50:31the website if you want to. I'm sure he would be interested in in
- 50:37what's going on in your area. So I contacted him and got to talking
- 50:47to him, and I didn't know what at the time, but this particular
- 50:54individual was involved with a with a research group that shall remain unnamed, but
- 51:06has obviously uh some connections to some some other external organizations outside of itself.
- 51:17So long story short, I contacted him and related to him what was going
- 51:22on, and he acted very disinterested in what I was relating to him,
- 51:29which is fine. So I hung up with him and went on about my
- 51:37evening. Uh three hours later, I was sitting there watching TV and uh,
- 51:47I hear a vehicle turned in on the road that I lived on.
- 51:52And that time of the night, you know, it was ten ten thirty,
- 51:57there's not a lot of traffic, and if there is traffic, you
- 52:00know, usually you can tell who it is. Right. So I'm sitting
- 52:06there and I pulled the curtain back when I heard the vehicle turn in because
- 52:07it sounded like a very different kind of vehicle. I could tell this was
- 52:14a diesel powered vehicle. And I didn't know anything. Yeah, I didn't
- 52:19know anybody that drove that kind of vehicle. So it naturally caught my attention,
- 52:23and I pulled the curtain back, and I looked real quick, and
- 52:27I was like, what in the world, And this thing, this vehicle
- 52:30was kind of like a big, huge, white I call it an M
- 52:35wrap. It's one of those big armored vehicles that you see law enforcement using
- 52:39for swat teams and stuff like that. This thing, yeah, this thing
- 52:45was white in color, and it drove down past where I was living at
- 52:52and after it got out of sight, I pulled the curtain back again and
- 52:58I looked and an interesting thing and never because the road actually went into a
- 53:01loop, and it never went on the bottom end of the road, so
- 53:07I know that it didn't make the loop right and it never turned around and
- 53:10came back out. So I didn't really pay too much attention to it at
- 53:15that point. I just thought, hmm, that's weird. So I just
- 53:21kind of went on about my business. And the next night I got to
- 53:29talking to the landlord and they were relating to me that there were people outside
- 53:37at night in the field the night before when I saw the vehicle, and
- 53:44they were there were like a bunch of people out there with flashlights, you
- 53:51know, looking around and hollering, and they even heard a couple of gunshots,
- 53:54and you know, just real strangeness. Been that gentleman you or that
- 54:00person with the with the Bigfoot re Bigfoot organization or whoever you reported that to.
- 54:06Did you give that person your address where the had been or the thing?
- 54:12No, he had he had no idea where I was at. Oh
- 54:16okay. So that's another interesting aspect to the whole thing, is I had
- 54:22to ask nobody. Yeah, that's a good question. Nobody really knew that
- 54:28I was even living there. So that went on for about two or three
- 54:34nights, people out in the fields at night, flashlights, hearing gunshots and
- 54:39hollering, and I was like, what are these people doing? And I
- 54:45was like, it's kind of weird. So I didn't really think anything of
- 54:51it, but that that Friday came around, and when I got from work
- 55:00that evening, I went out. The sun had already gone down. The
- 55:05stars were like real bright in the sky, and I was just standing there
- 55:08looking up at them. So I walked out into the road and I walked
- 55:13up to kind of a hilltop that was kind of like more in front of
- 55:16the landlord's house than it was where I was living at. So I was
- 55:24standing there on top of the hill and I was just looking at the sky,
- 55:28looking at the stars, looking around, and I looked happened to glance
- 55:34down, and when I did, there was something. I thought initially that
- 55:38it was a deer. It came from the field on the right hand side
- 55:43of the road and ran into the field on the left hand side of the
- 55:45road extremely fast, and I was like, wow, that was fast,
- 55:52and I was like standing there waiting to see what was chasing it, because
- 55:54as fast as it was going, you know, at night time, generally
- 55:59a deer that's running like that is not is gonna have something chasing it.
- 56:02So I was thinking maybe a Kyloe's chasing or whatever. So I stood there
- 56:07for a minute and was looking waiting to see something come out, and nothing
- 56:09ever came out. So I just kind of, oh, well, he
- 56:13was just passing through. So I went back to you know, looking at
- 56:16the stars and what have you, and I glanced down again, and when
- 56:20I did, this thing was at the side of the road and it was
- 56:24looking at me, and I was like looking at it. It was looking
- 56:29at me, and I was like and and at this time, the landlords
- 56:34dogs had come out with me and they were kind of standing there. They
- 56:38didn't see this thing or since it they were just standing there with me.
- 56:45This thing was standing at the at the side of the road. So my
- 56:52impression was that it had come back after it across the road. Now I
- 56:59was thinking about this, and it's entirely possible that whatever ran through the first
- 57:04time this thing was what was chasing it. Oh yeah, I don't know
- 57:09that to be one of one hundred percent fact. But and the reason why
- 57:14I say that is because I never saw it come from the from the right
- 57:17hand side field across the road, so I didn't see it in toe behind
- 57:23this thing. I only saw it when it was at the at the left
- 57:27hand side of the road. So it was standing there and the dogs had
- 57:32come up behind me and I heard them and I was like, you know,
- 57:37just making sure that it was them. And when I turned back,
- 57:38it was standing dead in the middle of the road looking at me. This
- 57:44thing was huge. I mean, if I I mean I've seen polar bears
- 57:46in zoos. This thing had to have been as big as a polar bear.
- 57:52And it was down on all fours and it was kind of like straight
- 57:58up, you know, ears off the back of its head and like it
- 58:02was just in its head was facing towards me, and I can see its
- 58:06ears, and I had a flashlight with me, and I was standing there
- 58:12looking at it I was like, I want to get a good look at
- 58:13this thing, so I turned the flashlight on. And I don't when I
- 58:20say what I'm fixing to say, people are not gonna believe it. That's
- 58:22fine, I'm not I'm not asking anybody to believe anything I'm telling them.
- 58:28I'm just relating what happened to me when I hit this thing with the light.
- 58:35I had a fourcel D maglight and I hit it with a maglight and
- 58:38when I did, there was nothing there. But as soon as I hit
- 58:45it with the light, the dogs that were standing there, you know,
- 58:49next to me, you know, kind of doing their own thing, all
- 58:52of a sudden they became interested in that area down the road which this thing
- 58:58was about. I would say from where I was standing it was maybe fifty
- 59:01yards. The dogs took off running down there. They kind of weren't really
- 59:08barking, but they were kind of hu you know, huffing and doing everything.
- 59:14They ran down, ran down at exactly where the thing was standing,
- 59:16and were sniffing around, so I know there was something there. And then
- 59:22they turned around and they came back, so I was like, I wasn't
- 59:24seeing things. There was actually something there. In order for the dogs to
- 59:29become interested in that spot. Well, I went back after that. I
- 59:36went back to my apartment that I was living in, and as I was
- 59:40heading up to the front door, I happened to glance up and I could
- 59:45see an opening in the trees into the sky above the apartment, and there
- 59:53was a military aircraft. I would say it was either a Sea one thirty
- 1:00:02or C five, you know it was. It was big enough that I
- 1:00:07and low enough that I could see it, but it was gliding and it
- 1:00:12glided across that opening, no sound, no nothing. Now, most of
- 1:00:19the time, if an aircraft, and and a lot of people don't know
- 1:00:27this, but if an aircraft is doing that over a location, generally there's
- 1:00:34a reason for it. They're not going to glide like that over a location
- 1:00:39just to be gliding over it. Usually if if if they're in a position
- 1:00:45where they have to have to glide in, now, they may do it
- 1:00:49to glide in and land, but over a location that's not anywhere near a
- 1:00:54landing strip. They're they're doing that for a reason. So I can't say,
- 1:01:00beyond a shadow of doubt or one that there was a connection there with
- 1:01:06this creature and this military aircraft, But it's kind of coincidental to me that
- 1:01:12they were in both in the same vicinity of each other. And you have
- 1:01:16these people and you know they're out there looking around and they're shooting guns.
- 1:01:22And what I think the scenario was is, and I often wondered this because
- 1:01:28of the level of activity that I was having in that area. On the
- 1:01:31property that was where this thing was headed, there was there was an old,
- 1:01:38abandoned barn that nobody used, and it was grown up. The there
- 1:01:45was, you know, lots of bushes and trees and stuff grown up around
- 1:01:49it, and you couldn't unless you knew it was there where you could see
- 1:01:52the one spot on the back side of it where you could see the deciding
- 1:01:57you wouldn't even know there was a barn there, that's how grown up and
- 1:02:00up it was. So I'm thinking that at some point that may have been
- 1:02:07a hangout spot for the bigfoot creatures that were living in that particular area,
- 1:02:14and it's entirely possible that this thing was chasing after one of them and it
- 1:02:22was heading to that barn for it perceived safety. Now, I didn't hear
- 1:02:27anything after that that night, but I'm trying to remember. There was one
- 1:02:40night after that, and it was after the activity stopped. There was one
- 1:02:46night I was in my apartment and I kept hearing the sound. And the
- 1:02:52only thing I can the only thing I can relate it to, is kind
- 1:02:58of like a kind of like a you've heard pterodactyls on the movies, right,
- 1:03:05Yes, of course, that's kind of what it sounded like to me.
- 1:03:08And it just kept going and going and going. It was me name
- 1:03:12right, right, right right, And I'm like, what in the world
- 1:03:17is that? So I went outside and I was looking around and it stopped.
- 1:03:23I was like, well, it's kind of a pointless venture to be
- 1:03:27out here. So I went back in and I never heard it again.
- 1:03:30But it's just it is weird that there was so much activity going on in
- 1:03:36that one location. And I don't think that. I think a couple of
- 1:03:39things that I do think or believe is my contact with that individual was directly
- 1:03:45related to those people being in that area. One. Two, I think
- 1:03:51they were there to either capture, cute, exterminate, or do whatever they
- 1:04:02were going to do to the creatures that were living in that area. Sorry,
- 1:04:09I won't say the K word. Yeah, you know, that's that's
- 1:04:16interesting. I mean, okay, so I had to ask you that question
- 1:04:20earlier about you potentially giving your address to that person who took your report.
- 1:04:25Because of course, with me being in the in the Bigfoot field research arena
- 1:04:30myself and uh, and being you know, in the mix and in the
- 1:04:34know with a lot of this stuff, there's certain people who refuse to give
- 1:04:40reports to people in certain Bigfoot organizations because they're afraid that then they're going to
- 1:04:45tell, you know, government officials or somebody about it. Because a lot
- 1:04:49sometimes when people have given reports, the black helicopters have shown up over their
- 1:04:54property, you know, and uh and things, so you you're wondering,
- 1:04:57like, who is somebody's channeling they're in to higher ups. You know.
- 1:05:00I'm not saying it happens all the time, but I've heard stories of that
- 1:05:03happening before, which leads me to believe that these dogmen, these Bigfoot are
- 1:05:10potentially government assets. Either they were created or controlled or both potentially by our
- 1:05:17military or government or some sort of agency out there. And they're they're either
- 1:05:23and I've heard reports of them being chipped and collared and all that kind of
- 1:05:26stuff too. Mark, So it's like they're being tracked for the same things.
- 1:05:32I've heard the same things. But you know, the the interesting thing
- 1:05:38is you can hear a lot of things out there, but him, you
- 1:05:43know. I mean, it's like, yeah, how many people are actually
- 1:05:46coming forth with real, tangible, vible evidence that that's the case? I
- 1:05:53mean true, you know, I mean, you hear I heard a very
- 1:05:58fantastic story about a guy who videotaped to Bigfoot having a death match in the
- 1:06:05swamp. You know, I forget who it was put that story out.
- 1:06:12Incredible story, if true. Now, the guy that supposedly reported it was
- 1:06:15a wildlife photographer videographer, and he videotaped the whole death match, supposedly,
- 1:06:25and but the caveat to it was that at the end of the thing,
- 1:06:30when the one Bigfoot realized that he was there, he lost his camera in
- 1:06:38the water, supposedly destroying the film. And this, that and the other.
- 1:06:44I mean, if something like that were to happen, I mean,
- 1:06:47and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not true. But you
- 1:06:50know, that's one reason why me personally, I don't come out with a
- 1:06:56lot of stuff is because you know, it's it's to me, it's it's
- 1:07:04fruitless to talk about some things if you don't have something to back it up.
- 1:07:16Yeah, that's true, you know. And I and I like to
- 1:07:19tell people about with my research that I do. I don't always talk about
- 1:07:24all my research. And actually two of my teams were we are under NDA's
- 1:07:27and stuff because we're still researching these areas that we go to. Uh.
- 1:07:30And so you don't hear a ton of stories out of me about my own
- 1:07:32experiences. But I do have several I have a lot of I have a
- 1:07:35lot of stories I do tell. But you know, with the with the
- 1:07:41filled with the dog man stories, with the Bigfoot encounters, everything being more
- 1:07:45public now and it getting a lot of attention, Uh, it would be
- 1:07:49a little tempting for people to make up stories, you know, to get
- 1:07:54that fame and fortune too. So so you have to be very discerning when
- 1:07:58you're taking reports from people. When you are, you know, here hearing
- 1:08:02these stories. Just I usually go with my gut, and like you said,
- 1:08:05it is important to meet with people and get to know these people before
- 1:08:11you could jump to a conclusion as to whether their story is really or not,
- 1:08:15and to visit that location I mean we do on site scouting. We
- 1:08:18do on site you know, I've visited state parks where I've had a state
- 1:08:21park ranger here in Georgia call me and I immediately did a FaceTime interview with
- 1:08:29him over the phone over actually on Facebook. I believe this is a couple
- 1:08:32of years ago, because I wanted to see him face to face to determine
- 1:08:38first of all, if I should even go scout that place out with my
- 1:08:40team, because it's important to know if you're if somebody is trying to hoax
- 1:08:45you, or if they're just straight up making the story up, you know.
- 1:08:48And then and then once you actually go out there and get the report's
- 1:08:51firsthand from people, and you go and you do investigate that location. Then
- 1:08:56you do contact the coroner's office. If somebody pass away, you do you
- 1:09:00do your your footwork, you know, on all this it's so important,
- 1:09:02and that's what field researchers do. And I guess that's what sets the field
- 1:09:06researchers apart from just podcasters and stuff. And there's nothing I love podcasts.
- 1:09:11I'm a podcaster, okay, but but there is a there's a fine,
- 1:09:15there's a there's a little difference there with telling stories and doing some you know,
- 1:09:20the field research. Oh yeah, and there's like, like I was
- 1:09:25discussing with you earlier, there's nothing wrong with podcasters storytellers, you know,
- 1:09:30in historically their role in society and societies has been very important, you know.
- 1:09:42I mean that's just the nature of it. Yeah, you know,
- 1:09:46historically. So you know, please don't take anything I'm saying as being a
- 1:09:55jab against a podcast or a storyteller. Me neither. I am a podcaster,
- 1:10:00dang it. I'm both. I'm the best of both worlds here,
- 1:10:04okay. And uh and and and that's what And you love you love getting
- 1:10:10out in nature, and you love going out and exploring and uh and and
- 1:10:13and covering and raveling the mysteries of the world. And will we ever unravel
- 1:10:16at all? Absolutely not. But we're having fun doing it, I know.
- 1:10:19I am. I don't know about you, I am. Oh yeah,
- 1:10:26yeah, wow, that's something. Those are amazing encounters. Oh my
- 1:10:30gosh. I mean, uh, I've heard stories before about sasquatch and dog
- 1:10:35men looking like they have war paint on their faces. I mean, just
- 1:10:39cryptids in general. I wonder, I wonder what what that's about, Like,
- 1:10:44what is it. Do you think that I did ask you if you
- 1:10:46thought that they were government lab made or natural, and there are there are
- 1:10:51distinctions, of course, But but I would imagine that they do team up
- 1:10:57like a tribe or a or a pack, you know, if they're dog
- 1:11:00men, because there's safety in numbers, I would assume, and maybe they
- 1:11:05maybe they do have a little tribe, you know, and and they feel
- 1:11:09like they could be at war. I mean, that's just it's just a
- 1:11:13thought. Well, my opinion on the whole face paint thing that I encountered
- 1:11:18was I think it was more of a camouflage in a sense than anything,
- 1:11:23because you know, initially when I spotted it, I thought it was a
- 1:11:28deer. And what better camouflage could you ask for If you're if you're some
- 1:11:35kind of inhumanoid predator whatever, and you're out there trying to either sneak up
- 1:11:45on deer or sneak up on people, you're not going to draw very much
- 1:11:48attention to yourself if you're camouflage as a deer or perceived as a deer.
- 1:11:58Wow, and cloaking, Okay, the cloaking ability, that's that's really interesting.
- 1:12:03That's that's the best camouflage. That's that's the best camouflage actually, you
- 1:12:09know. Oh yeah, well, you know from for many years I researched
- 1:12:16by myself in the LBO. I know a lot of people are gonna say,
- 1:12:20oh, well, that's crazy, why would you do such a thing.
- 1:12:24It's dangerous, You're gonna die? The dog man. Well, you
- 1:12:30know, early on, I didn't. I didn't really I didn't really know
- 1:12:36the things that I know now, and I hadn't experienced what I've experienced.
- 1:12:41But you know, if if you revert back to the interview that I did
- 1:12:47with Barton Unteley on his channel which is in Humanoids with Barton and Nuntley,
- 1:12:55I talk about a encounter that I had, or an experience that I had
- 1:13:00had one day while I was driving down the road and I had something fully
- 1:13:02cloaked jump across the road way into the treeline. And I'm talking about like
- 1:13:11a ninety foot leap. So to break that down, you know, I
- 1:13:19don't want to be out there by myself and get attacked by something like that.
- 1:13:24I mean, it would be on you and you wouldn't even know it.
- 1:13:27You know, You're you're out there walking down a trail and it takes
- 1:13:30a ninety foot leap onto you, you know, I mean, you know,
- 1:13:32And I'm not saying what it was or wasn't or whatever. All I'm
- 1:13:35saying is what it looked like to me, and it just the craziest,
- 1:13:43the craziest thing. So that's one reason why I've gotten out of the habit
- 1:13:48of one researching by myself, and I try not to be over there at
- 1:13:55night. I have, you know, gone over there at night, but
- 1:14:01it's just to me, the danger factor or risk factor involved in it is
- 1:14:08like multiplied when you're dealing with things that how they do it, I don't
- 1:14:13know, but if they're cloaked or semi invisible to the point that you can't
- 1:14:18see them, you're definitely not going to see them at night. You may
- 1:14:23be able to pick them up on a thermal or night vision, but you
- 1:14:28know, most people don't talk about the realities of thermal and night vision,
- 1:14:32but the reality of it is your perception is off the second that you put
- 1:14:38one of those devices on your head, you know, and it all goes
- 1:14:44back to the magnification level, even at one by magnification on a just a
- 1:14:48standard night vision goggle or night vision device, your death perception is gone from
- 1:14:56the get go, and you know, everything is magnified, so you're even
- 1:15:03though you can see, you're still going to run into stuff because you can't
- 1:15:08perceive it as you normally would. So and you're blind when you take your
- 1:15:12eye off of it for the most part. So I like to do maybe
- 1:15:15a monocle, like a one of you know, just one eye looking through
- 1:15:18the night vision or the thermal, the flear because you need to have one
- 1:15:23eye that's going to be more adjusted in case you got to get out of
- 1:15:27there or something happens, you know. Oh yeah, for safety purposes.
- 1:15:30Yeah, that's correct. Yeah, Oh my gosh, yeah. Okay,
- 1:15:35Well how many people? How many people go missing each year out of the
- 1:15:40LBL. Do you have a number and is it high or do you think
- 1:15:44we'd even know? Well, that's a that's a very interesting question. And
- 1:16:00the reason why I say in use the word interesting is because of the fact
- 1:16:03that you have some individuals that want to say it's X number or Y number
- 1:16:11or whatever, or that historically there's been you know, just pulling a number
- 1:16:17out of the sky. You know, fifty fifty or sixty people that have
- 1:16:20disappeared have been killed over there. You know, the reality of it is,
- 1:16:25I mean, you know, I'm going to revert back to the to
- 1:16:30the grandiose claims require grandiose evidence. So you know, the people that are
- 1:16:36making these claims, you know, I mean, and don't get me wrong,
- 1:16:42I get it, you know, because there is an event that took
- 1:16:45place over there that I'm aware of, where a young man was killed and
- 1:16:53I did it. I said the word I'm trying not to use it.
- 1:16:57I'm alive. Yeah, so he came to a very unfortunate end. And
- 1:17:04the originally, the originally reported incident was not anything like what really happened,
- 1:17:15and that was that was covered up really quick, whoa really quick, like
- 1:17:21same day quick, within hours of it happening quick. So yeah, there
- 1:17:31there are events like that that take place. And the thing about it is,
- 1:17:39we don't know, you know, I mean, do people have hunting
- 1:17:43accidents, boating accidents, swimming accidents, you know, do people drown when
- 1:17:47they're swimming? Yes, But the when those type of events are being reported,
- 1:17:58you know, is there another factor involved in it? We won't.
- 1:18:01We won't know, so it's really hard to say what the actual number is.
- 1:18:12So that's going to be without actually putting a number on it. And
- 1:18:15that's going to be my answer. Okay, it's so hard to put a
- 1:18:21number on it, it is. Okay, Well I didn't expect you to
- 1:18:25have an exact number, Okay, but I just thought my brain's working overtime
- 1:18:30right now, because as you're saying that, what took me out to that
- 1:18:34state park eventually where that state park ranger had contacted me and begged me to
- 1:18:40bring my team out there because they had gotten nine sasquatch sightings and reports over
- 1:18:45one month, okay, in his park, And we ended up going out
- 1:18:49there, but it took a lot for me to go out there because he
- 1:18:53finally told me, he said, well, we've we've had a sasquatch related
- 1:18:56death at the park, is what he told me. So that got my
- 1:19:00attention finally, okay, And and I geared up and took three of my
- 1:19:05teammates out there, and we spent the weekend out there, and he took
- 1:19:10us on a tour. We investigated, and one of my teammates actually knows
- 1:19:15the corner out there, and we looked into this death and now I'm thinking,
- 1:19:20well, you know, the corner said no, they didn't die in
- 1:19:24the way that you were told. But now I question was there a cover
- 1:19:29up? Okay? And uh, And I'm not going to get into details
- 1:19:31of that. That's for another time and it's not even something I should probably
- 1:19:34be talking about. But it did. But but that did happen, and
- 1:19:39it made me question, well, is anything this guy told me true?
- 1:19:43Okay? Now because of what the officials told us. Okay, So but
- 1:19:49if I've learned anything, Mark, I know the officials don't always tell us
- 1:19:53the full truth. Yeah, that's what I was fixing to say. You
- 1:19:56know, I've had my my dealings with a few and they didn't get they
- 1:20:02didn't get to be officials by being being official. That's right, man,
- 1:20:09And tell me about it. That's true, So you know, And and
- 1:20:13then on top of that, you know, in some in some instances,
- 1:20:18I'm pretty sure that they're they're required to keep certain things under wraps and hush
- 1:20:26hush. Why that is, I don't know. But you know, I
- 1:20:30had a case that I was working on back in two thousand and seven where
- 1:20:42a corner official negated information that I was receiving from other people about an incident
- 1:21:00to the point that it just was outlandish So whether or not he was required
- 1:21:10to or felt obligated in some way to skew that information, I don't know,
- 1:21:15but it was definitely not the same information that I was receiving. Interesting,
- 1:21:21coroners are elected officials. I'm just saying. I'm just kidding. I
- 1:21:25used to work in politics. Listen, I know how this works. I
- 1:21:28know how politics were work, especially down here in the South, Okay,
- 1:21:31with a good old boy networks and stuff. So it's just something to keep
- 1:21:34in mind when you're doing this research. Okay, it's just something to keep
- 1:21:38in mind and go with your gut, right, go with your gut,
- 1:21:42Go do the investigations, boots on the ground. If you get a report
- 1:21:46somebody wants you to come out and investigate, go if you're on a team,
- 1:21:49go investigate it and get the information from every possible source, even the
- 1:21:55coroner's office. But now, I mean talking to you. You know,
- 1:21:58we took that as being you know, part of most most of what we
- 1:22:01investigated could have been very much real. It really happened. We didn't find
- 1:22:05any sign of big foot out there, Okay, we really didn't. We
- 1:22:09didn't find a whole lot of sign. However, you know, people's encounters
- 1:22:13are their encounters, and who are we to say? I mean, it
- 1:22:15even went from like shape shifting bigfoots, like bigfoot, some people seeing a
- 1:22:19big foot, a seven to nine foot tall bigfoot, and the people behind
- 1:22:23them saw a seven inch tall squirrel. You know, just some of the
- 1:22:28stuff that's unexplainable. It is. Yeah, I've experienced the same thing.
- 1:22:35You have a group of people and like four or five out of the group
- 1:22:40see a bigfoot and the rest of the group see something totally different exactly.
- 1:22:46I mean, how does that work? It's weird. It is weird.
- 1:22:53It's it's almost like they're able to project different things into what we're into our
- 1:22:58minds or what we're seeing, or I don't know. It's the same thing
- 1:23:00with ets and all these other cryptids, bigfoots, probably dog Man two,
- 1:23:05but definitely the big foot phenomenon. And you've you've been out doing research on
- 1:23:11bigfoot, Like you said, you were out there looking for bigfoot footprints when
- 1:23:14you came upon a dog man. So you know, we we don't go
- 1:23:19out looking for dog men. I'm part of a big foot field research.
- 1:23:23I'm part of three different teams, but we've never gone out there's just looking
- 1:23:26for dog men. But dog men are in the vicinity, and we get
- 1:23:28reports to where the dogmen are in our our areas that we go and do
- 1:23:33research at. I personally have never happened upon a dog man, but I've
- 1:23:40never I've never called one in, I've never tried. But if it's there,
- 1:23:45I wouldn't mind seeing it. But I am careful what I wish for.
- 1:23:47Mark, I'm careful what I wish for. Oh yeah, there's nothing
- 1:23:50wrong with a little bit of a little bit of caution, yes, but
- 1:23:57yeah, it's it's definitely definitely not something I was looking for. But you
- 1:24:05know, it's it's it's kind of like that old saying. You know,
- 1:24:08when you peer into the into the mysterious, the mysterious will peer back into
- 1:24:13you, you know. I mean that's just the reality of it. It's
- 1:24:20it definitely leaves a lot for you for a person to think about. It
- 1:24:28does. It does. And I want to thank you so much for sharing
- 1:24:30your experiences with me today with my audience. What a perfect Halloween night,
- 1:24:35I tell you what, this has been amazing. Yeah. What what do
- 1:24:40you have planned for your future? And do you first of all, do
- 1:24:43you have any advice too, for anyone who encounters a dog man or even
- 1:24:48wants to encounter something like that. Well, as I as I mentioned earlier,
- 1:24:56just the best advice I can give is be careful what you wish for
- 1:25:00because of the simple fact that one it's never gonna happen the way that you
- 1:25:05think it's going to. The outcome is probably not going to be what you're
- 1:25:11anticipating. And you know, whatever you do, do not try to exchange
- 1:25:29things with these entities as far as gifting that kind of thing, because and
- 1:25:40this is just my opinion. You know, there there are people out there
- 1:25:43that have have have done this and done it for years and had interactions with
- 1:25:49them. But you know, the question always enters my mind, what happens
- 1:25:57when that that that line of exchange stuff, right, you know, And
- 1:26:05and I'm sure everybody's heard the stories where exchanges exchange stops have ended in a
- 1:26:13bad way. And I'm not saying that everyone would end that way. But
- 1:26:21if you if you don't indulge, then there's nothing to worry about, right,
- 1:26:26right, Yeah, you don't want to make anything mad, Okay,
- 1:26:30especially if you're in a national or state park. You don't really want to
- 1:26:34go put food out and stuff, especially near the campground areas, because once
- 1:26:39you leave that food out there and you leave, there's going to be other
- 1:26:42families that come with their kids out there to play that next week or sometime,
- 1:26:46and they're going to be those critters out there are going to be expecting
- 1:26:48some food. Most likely, yeah, they don't get it. There could
- 1:26:53be problems. Yeah. You know. One of the one of the more
- 1:26:58interesting events that have happened on one of my research trips with some friends,
- 1:27:05we had one try to snag a steak off of a grill one night,
- 1:27:13and when he came through, he uh, the grill was open, and
- 1:27:23he saw that it was there was nothing on the grill, and just kind
- 1:27:28of went on his way. Well what happened if he was like at the
- 1:27:30brink of starvation, you know, I mean, he could have snagged one
- 1:27:34of us. Yeah, so could have steak tastes better though probably I would
- 1:27:42assume, Oh yeah, that's why you a lot of garlic try to keep
- 1:27:47things away. Well vampires at least, I don't know. Yeah, Oh
- 1:27:51my gosh. Well okay, so tell me about what you got going on.
- 1:27:56Are you going to be doing some more research out into LBL and tell
- 1:28:00me about your You've got a YouTube channel too, are you gonna be posting
- 1:28:03on your YouTube channel some of your adventures? So as far as what the
- 1:28:08future holds, I am going to be doing some more new content for uh
- 1:28:15my YouTube channel, which is uh Cryptonville on YouTube. Also that same content
- 1:28:25and other content content of friends and family, if you will, is also
- 1:28:31reflected on my website, which is Cryptiville dot com. And uh, as
- 1:28:39far as research goes, I am going to be doing some some new things
- 1:28:46and some new areas. And some of those areas include the the l b
- 1:28:54L and other areas in the vicinity. Uh. You know, one thing
- 1:29:00that I that i've uh I wanted to do was expand into different areas that
- 1:29:09I've not researched in before, like say the man A Cave area. I
- 1:29:15know a lot of people in that area, and I think it would be
- 1:29:26kind of interesting to research some of those cave areas. I'm not enthused about,
- 1:29:33you know, spending a long time in a cave, but I always
- 1:29:41tell you, I always always people always tell people, you know, haven't
- 1:29:46you seen that movie The Descent or Descent or whatever it's called. Where you
- 1:29:50got the the three or four young ladies that go down into the cave.
- 1:29:56Yeah, not my style. It's crazy, but yeah, that's uh,
- 1:30:04that's kind of what I'm looking at in the in the near future. Generally,
- 1:30:11I don't broadcast what I'm doing when I'm doing it, that kind of
- 1:30:19thing until after it happens. So that's that's always been, it's always been,
- 1:30:28It's always been my mode of operating. And along with that, you
- 1:30:32know, there are some locations where I've had experiences before that I'm going to
- 1:30:39that I want to revisit and film the locations and relate those events as they
- 1:30:45happen. Stuff that nobody's ever heard of, nobody knows. And for example,
- 1:30:53one of the one of the events is going to be released in Ah.
- 1:30:58I believe Barton Unley Saiity is going to be writing writing another mysterious Kentucky
- 1:31:02book and one of one of those events is going to be featured in in
- 1:31:09his new book. So you'll have to wait until it comes out to hear
- 1:31:15that or read that story. Very interesting event that happened to myself and another
- 1:31:21guy, Uh, well, I say another guy, but he was totally
- 1:31:27unaware of what was what was going on. But uh, definitely a creepy
- 1:31:32interesting story. So but yeah, I would like to go back and film
- 1:31:41that area if possible, if I could get on that particular military installation,
- 1:31:46and what's what's up with the military installations encryptids. There's a connection. I
- 1:31:54think I've looked into it before. What do you think about that? I
- 1:31:58would have to say that there is a connection. You have to check out
- 1:32:03that story and give us some suspense. I get it. What the connection
- 1:32:10possibly could be if nothing else, yeah, if nothing else, they definitely
- 1:32:16know that these things are around at the minimum. Yeah, I agree,
- 1:32:23I think so too. Absolutely. Well, oh my goodness. Well,
- 1:32:27hey Mark, if you're ever down in Georgia, or if you want to
- 1:32:30make a trip down here to do some big footing and even dog mannon,
- 1:32:33I guess you could call it come to Georgia. I'll take you out with
- 1:32:36my team anytime. I'd love to host you down here sometime. And uh,
- 1:32:42unless you experience on Georgia bigfoot, well, I appreciate it, fortunately,
- 1:32:46and thank you for the invite. Real quick though, I would like
- 1:32:51to if if you would allow me to to uh give a short plug or
- 1:33:00some of the some of the friends that that I have in the community.
- 1:33:06As as everyone probably knows, I am uh proud to be involved with the
- 1:33:14Brotherhood of the Wolf, which is a loose net group that was formed by
- 1:33:17Barton and Lee. I was kind of grandfathered in. I was in the
- 1:33:24Brotherhood before the Brotherhood existed kind of thing. And UH just wanted to mention
- 1:33:30uh in Humanoids with Barton Untley also UH Blondes of Booze. They have a
- 1:33:42podcast also, I just want to mention uh the Paranormal Roundtable with Josh Turner.
- 1:33:48UH. Check out their their content. They've They've got some great information,
- 1:33:55great shows. Check it out. Also helped being I would say,
- 1:34:03I'm trying to I'm trying to remember everybody can check out. I know Darryl
- 1:34:10Denton has got a group on Facebook. UH slips in my mind because I
- 1:34:15don't have that computer pulled up at the moment. What the name of the
- 1:34:18group is. UH encourage everybody to check that out. And UH, I
- 1:34:25just basically UH, anybody that's involved uh with the Brotherhood of the Wolf.
- 1:34:34It's definitely definitely worth checking out. And once again, Jessica just want to
