Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #292: Early Morning Stillness is the Gateway to Divine Guidance
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tease.
- 0:03Speaker 2: I'm with Amien Bab. We're back, We're back.
- 0:09Speaker 3: We were kind of chatting a little bit, just kind
- 0:11Speaker 3: of none It wasn't really any information to share or
- 0:15Speaker 3: not share. But it reminded me that recently, because I've
- 0:19Speaker 3: been waking up in the middle of the night. I'll
- 0:21Speaker 3: wake up around two, three o'clock whatever, and i might
- 0:23Speaker 3: be up for a couple hours. And I'm okay with that.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Before I used to be bothered by that. But it's
- 0:27Speaker 3: my opportunity for my quietness, it's my opportunity for another meditation,
- 0:32Speaker 3: it's my opportunity for so many different things. And the
- 0:35Speaker 3: other night I was laying in there and then I
- 0:39Speaker 3: was like hearing, like I wrote it on the board,
- 0:42Speaker 3: I have such abundance. I have such abundance that I
- 0:45Speaker 3: can do this, I can do that, and I can
- 0:46Speaker 3: do that, and it's like it was such a flow
- 0:48Speaker 3: of things, and I'm like feeling like I got.
- 0:51Speaker 2: To go right to this down and I'm like, you know,
- 0:53Speaker 2: it's hard to go to bed.
- 0:54Speaker 3: It's cold outside, so it's like and my bed's all
- 0:57Speaker 3: nice and comfy, cozy, so I didn't want to go
- 0:59Speaker 3: to bed. And all of a sudden, I body got
- 1:00Speaker 3: really hot and I was like, okay, I'm getting out
- 1:02Speaker 3: of bed.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So I came in the office.
- 1:03Speaker 3: And I sat and wrote, and then I wrote stuff
- 1:05Speaker 3: on the board and stuff like that.
- 1:06Speaker 2: But it was like, it was so much fun, Like
- 1:08Speaker 2: I have.
- 1:09Speaker 3: So much abundance that I can I can do whatever
- 1:11Speaker 3: I want. I can sit out and just do my garden,
- 1:13Speaker 3: I can whatever it was. And it just felt good
- 1:17Speaker 3: to be in that space of that creativity. So being
- 1:20Speaker 3: in the flow of things. Typically I would have ignored
- 1:22Speaker 3: that and not wrote it down. I wouldn't have wrote
- 1:24Speaker 3: it down, and I would have hoped that I would
- 1:25Speaker 3: have listened to and remembered it.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And so I really that night, I really milked it.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I really stayed in that space and kept constantly building
- 1:33Speaker 3: and stuff like that, because that's where our creativity comes from.
- 1:36Speaker 3: It comes from it comes from right now. It comes
- 1:39Speaker 3: from me imagining the things, not the experiences that I've
- 1:42Speaker 3: already had. Because I've already had that experience, why would
- 1:44Speaker 3: I want to create the same experience. I'm in a
- 1:46Speaker 3: different space now and it's just having fun with all that.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Well, that was one of the way and dire things
- 1:54Speaker 1: is that I don't remember is where don't go back
- 1:58Speaker 1: to sleep. That's along the lines like I don't know,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna quote him exactly, but the along the
- 2:06Speaker 1: lines of don't go back to sleep, because in those
- 2:08Speaker 1: early hours is when the messages are coming, because there
- 2:12Speaker 1: is so much stillness and quiet that that's when it's like,
- 2:17Speaker 1: that's when the veil between us and spirit or us
- 2:21Speaker 1: in the universe, us and God is thinner because there
- 2:25Speaker 1: is so much peace and quiet at that time that
- 2:29Speaker 1: the information is easily accessible. And then it's it's like, okay,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you got short straws, you're turning to get up and
- 2:37Speaker 1: receive this information type of thing, right, But.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It was such a blessing. It was such a blessing
- 2:44Speaker 3: to receive that. The flow was so good and it
- 2:46Speaker 3: felt so great, and it's not a space that I
- 2:48Speaker 3: was common to me to be in that just even
- 2:50Speaker 3: in the energy of how it felt and to be
- 2:53Speaker 3: like on a rampage like you know Esther Hicks would
- 2:56Speaker 3: talk about. So it's just was being in that space
- 2:58Speaker 3: and it was so so uplifting and it felt so
- 3:03Speaker 3: good and so if I wanted to it's just stopping
- 3:05Speaker 3: to feel that it's just stopping to recognize. I can
- 3:08Speaker 3: feel that we kind of touched on the feeling of
- 3:10Speaker 3: things last time.
- 3:11Speaker 2: How we can pick up on people's energy so easily.
- 3:14Speaker 3: And I've noticed that I do that with I can
- 3:16Speaker 3: do that with anybody. I can do it with a trench,
- 3:18Speaker 3: I can do I can do it with anything, and
- 3:20Speaker 3: so can everybody else. It's a matter of being quiet
- 3:23Speaker 3: enough to be able to tune in to that to
- 3:25Speaker 3: be able, and it's tuning in is focused.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I'm just focused in on it.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And so now with that being I started asking myself, well,
- 3:31Speaker 3: how come I don't do that with God?
- 3:32Speaker 2: How come I don't do that with the creator of
- 3:34Speaker 2: all that is? Why?
- 3:35Speaker 3: Why do Why do I think that it has to
- 3:36Speaker 3: go through somebody else or there has to be a
- 3:38Speaker 3: third party between me and and Creator.
- 3:40Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But that's you know, it's like, well, I'm not going
- 3:43Speaker 3: to go talk to Dab, but I'll go talk to
- 3:45Speaker 3: my aunt, or I'll go talk to my mom or whatever.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But it's like I'm going to go directly to Father.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'm going to go directly to Creator. And so it's
- 3:53Speaker 3: it's learning for me, it's learning a whole different perspective
- 3:56Speaker 3: on things. And it's knowing that I deserve to have
- 4:00Speaker 3: those conversations and I'm safe to be in that space
- 4:03Speaker 3: and not cutting myself off from something anymore that I've
- 4:07Speaker 3: been doing my whole life because I thought I knew better.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I don't know better because somebody else thought they knew
- 4:11Speaker 3: better when that's how they taught me. It's just a
- 4:17Speaker 3: different experience.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was thinking that.
- 4:26Speaker 1: When I said the messages come that early because it's
- 4:30Speaker 1: so quiet and the veil is thinner, that it's not
- 4:34Speaker 1: just a person receiving that information. It could be hundreds
- 4:37Speaker 1: or thousands or millions of people receiving that information. It's
- 4:41Speaker 1: who's going to take the time to receive it and
- 4:44Speaker 1: process it and share it or listen to it, just
- 4:49Speaker 1: even just receive it and listen to it and implement it.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Because it's this information that's helping guide us in this
- 4:58Speaker 1: life journey. Well, only certain people are going to take
- 5:03Speaker 1: it and receive it and implement it. So it's like
- 5:09Speaker 1: I hear this quite often in the spiritual teaching world,
- 5:15Speaker 1: that you know, information is given to you, but it's
- 5:20Speaker 1: also being given to somebody around on the other side
- 5:22Speaker 1: of the world, because I could deliver it in a
- 5:27Speaker 1: space or teach or share the information from the perspective
- 5:33Speaker 1: of living in this country, but I don't speak the
- 5:36Speaker 1: language or relate to somebody who lives in another country,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and so somebody in that country is going to be
- 5:41Speaker 1: receiving the same information, probably at the same time, and
- 5:46Speaker 1: then they could take it and do with it and
- 5:48Speaker 1: teach it and share it to people that they can
- 5:53Speaker 1: relate to in a way that they can understand it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But at the same time, I'm not the only one
- 6:00Speaker 1: in this country receiving the information. There's multiple people receiving it.
- 6:05Speaker 1: But who's going to take it. It's like it's like
- 6:07Speaker 1: who's going to take the baton and keep running? Who's
- 6:10Speaker 1: going to take that information and share it? So I
- 6:16Speaker 1: just find that, you know, we think, we think we're
- 6:19Speaker 1: the chosen one, and we're the one that got it first,
- 6:23Speaker 1: not necessarily. If other people are tapped into it, they're
- 6:27Speaker 1: going to receive it.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Also one hundred percent through their filtration system, through their understanding,
- 6:34Speaker 3: through their terminologies, through and then it reaches out to
- 6:38Speaker 3: people that are around them in the way that it
- 6:40Speaker 3: could be.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Sent out.
- 6:44Speaker 3: So I'd like to be in that receiving mode. So
- 6:46Speaker 3: that's why I get into that. I like that space.
- 6:48Speaker 3: It's quiet, there's no distractions, you're not typically you're not
- 6:53Speaker 3: on your devices, you know, looking at apps or doing
- 6:57Speaker 3: any of that kind of stuff that's not your typical thing.
- 6:59Speaker 3: And that's an easy to go Back in the day,
- 7:01Speaker 3: I probably would have gotten up and gotten to watch
- 7:03Speaker 3: some TV or whatever because I couldn't sleep or whatever.
- 7:05Speaker 2: I don't do that anymore.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I was reading something this morning and it was talking
- 7:10Speaker 3: about if your ViBe's low, don't go pick up your devices,
- 7:15Speaker 3: because then you're only going to what you talked about.
- 7:17Speaker 3: We're only going to get more of what we're putting out, basically,
- 7:20Speaker 3: in so many words, but we're going to get more
- 7:22Speaker 3: of what we're putting out or where where our mindset
- 7:25Speaker 3: is at currently.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you're going to attract what you're resonating with, and
- 7:30Speaker 1: then it's just going to be a validation of how
- 7:32Speaker 1: you're feeling right now, and then just keep compounding the
- 7:35Speaker 1: sensation and then then now you're stuck in it unless
- 7:40Speaker 1: you do something different.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Yeah, And so.
- 7:43Speaker 3: We're just learning how to do something different before it
- 7:45Speaker 3: ever gets to that point. It's just speaking in a
- 7:47Speaker 3: different space prior to and that was for me. That's
- 7:50Speaker 3: been a learning process for sure. It wasn't something that
- 7:53Speaker 3: just happened overnight because I had so much old programming,
- 7:57Speaker 3: so I had to reprogram in a lot of ways
- 7:59Speaker 3: and still am program Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So it's similar to like you said, you used to
- 8:07Speaker 1: go watch TV be the same as somebody. Well, I'm
- 8:11Speaker 1: feeling stressed, I need a cigarette. I'm feeling stressed. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: need a drink of alcohol. I am feeling stressed. I
- 8:17Speaker 1: need something out outside of me to take care of
- 8:21Speaker 1: the way I'm feeling. Whereas instead of changing that programming
- 8:28Speaker 1: of reaching for a drink or cigarette or some other.
- 8:36Speaker 2: What do you call it? Vice?
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, if I just sat with this and and notice, well,
- 8:44Speaker 1: why do I feel like I need that? Why am
- 8:46Speaker 1: I feeling start asking the question why am I feeling stressed?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Why am I why do I feel like? That's the
- 8:51Speaker 1: answer that that external source. Why do I feel that's
- 8:56Speaker 1: the answer. If I sat here with it and just
- 9:01Speaker 1: felt the way I felt. What if I just feel
- 9:04Speaker 1: the stress and then start asking am I really stressed
- 9:08Speaker 1: or am I just perceiving this in a way that's
- 9:11Speaker 1: contributing to me thinking I'm stressed. Right, So sitting with
- 9:16Speaker 1: yourself is so interesting. You find out so much about
- 9:24Speaker 1: yourself and then when you figure it out, well, I'm
- 9:27Speaker 1: still figuring it out, but I know a lot more
- 9:29Speaker 1: about myself now than I used to. But when I
- 9:32Speaker 1: know more about myself than I have more of an
- 9:34Speaker 1: understanding about other people, so I have I have more
- 9:40Speaker 1: ease and grace for them because they don't know themselves.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Then they're just doing what they think they need to
- 9:47Speaker 1: do for themselves to cope with life, and they're not
- 9:52Speaker 1: They're not in a space to do anything different. And
- 9:56Speaker 1: one of those things, like what Beb did is she's
- 10:00Speaker 1: you know what, I got up and I just started writing,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and I learned a lot. If she hadn't done that,
- 10:06Speaker 1: if she would have got up and went and watched TV,
- 10:08Speaker 1: she would have never got that information or or wisdom
- 10:15Speaker 1: if you will, to help her to do to stay
- 10:19Speaker 1: on track when doing different things.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, because it was a benefit for me.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It was.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It was a benefit for me and my thought processes.
- 10:29Speaker 3: It really helped me out, helped me to see things
- 10:31Speaker 3: from a different perspective and then feel things from a
- 10:34Speaker 3: different perspective. So I've had experience in the last couple
- 10:37Speaker 3: of weeks where the vices cannot they I cannot have
- 10:42Speaker 3: the vices, I cannot have the sugar, I cannot have
- 10:44Speaker 3: the things because the body responds not good with it.
- 10:48Speaker 3: And it's that was the way things has been, I
- 10:51Speaker 3: would say changed in my life because I no longer
- 10:54Speaker 3: have that as the way of it an escape, so
- 10:57Speaker 3: that I was finding myself escaping thing, even using the devices,
- 11:01Speaker 3: but the vite, even going on to apps and stuff
- 11:04Speaker 3: like that, they weren't bringing the satisfaction that I would
- 11:07Speaker 3: look for because I was looking for something outside of myself.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Just as you had said, I had that experience and
- 11:13Speaker 3: now I'm in that space for Okay, Well, I don't
- 11:15Speaker 3: need those things anyways.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I never needed them anyways. The only thing I need
- 11:19Speaker 2: is all withinside of me. That's it.
- 11:23Speaker 3: But I didn't realize that, and I wouldn't have realized
- 11:25Speaker 3: that if I still had those escapes. Because I had escapes,
- 11:29Speaker 3: I had escape plans. There is an emergency switch right there.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Just get off the real quick, and it's like I
- 11:36Speaker 3: don't have to I don't Now it's not that way,
- 11:37Speaker 3: but it is exactly what you said is citying and
- 11:40Speaker 3: feeling those things, and it reminds me of us being
- 11:42Speaker 3: the little kids. We weren't allowed to ask questions. I
- 11:45Speaker 3: wasn't allowed to ask. You know, kids asked too much questions.
- 11:48Speaker 3: You're asking too many questions, and so a lot of
- 11:50Speaker 3: times I shut that down. And it's like crazy, I
- 11:53Speaker 3: could have been asking inside my head all the time
- 11:55Speaker 3: instead of asking outside of me. But we had learned
- 11:58Speaker 3: outside of it. We had learned to really on something
- 12:00Speaker 3: outside of us. We had learned to our parents that
- 12:02Speaker 3: were telling us, we need to do this so we
- 12:04Speaker 3: don't get hurt. Sometimes the parents weren't around, and so
- 12:07Speaker 3: you got hurt because we weren't trusting in our what
- 12:09Speaker 3: was inside of us, our own intuition, our own guidance,
- 12:12Speaker 3: our own fields, and then became afraid of the fields
- 12:16Speaker 3: because the people that were raising us, that were around us,
- 12:18Speaker 3: were afraid of their own feelings. And so we've learned.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I've learned so much. I was about to say, we've
- 12:23Speaker 3: learned so much. I know you have learned so much too,
- 12:26Speaker 3: but we have. There's been so there's been a lot
- 12:28Speaker 3: of growth from all that, and it's just recognizing I
- 12:30Speaker 3: don't have to operate from that kid anymore, which is
- 12:33Speaker 3: kind of unfolded in such a way because there was
- 12:35Speaker 3: a time you would talk about this stuff and I
- 12:38Speaker 3: would understand from the level that I could understand it.
- 12:41Speaker 3: And now I understand it so differently now than I
- 12:44Speaker 3: ever could have possibly understood it then, and it makes
- 12:47Speaker 3: that even much a deeper.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Sense inside of me.
- 12:50Speaker 3: And I am asking a lot of those questions, but
- 12:52Speaker 3: then you ask some more questions, and it's like that helps.
- 12:55Speaker 3: We need to hear people saying those kind of things
- 12:57Speaker 3: and talking about out loud, because it helps us.
- 13:00Speaker 2: You know that didn't have that.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Opportunity to be able to express ourselves and be able
- 13:04Speaker 3: to ask questions, to be able to learn how to
- 13:06Speaker 3: start opening up and asking questions. And now when I
- 13:10Speaker 3: ask questions, I'll ask questions outside of me and from
- 13:12Speaker 3: someone else. Before I would never have asked a question,
- 13:14Speaker 3: what do you mean?
- 13:15Speaker 2: What is that about?
- 13:16Speaker 3: Before I was thought well, I felt that I had
- 13:18Speaker 3: to know everything. You have to know these things, and
- 13:21Speaker 3: there was no way in hell that I could know
- 13:22Speaker 3: all those things. It's not possible. Just like you said
- 13:25Speaker 3: in the last recording, I didn't go to school to
- 13:28Speaker 3: be a doctor, So how could I teach people that way?
- 13:32Speaker 2: I didn't go to school to be a veterinarian, so
- 13:34Speaker 2: how could I be that way?
- 13:35Speaker 3: I don't have that knowledge that they have, but I
- 13:37Speaker 3: have my own knowledge and I have my own connection
- 13:41Speaker 3: with inside of me that brings forth whatever I need
- 13:43Speaker 3: in the moment. So it's just really it's BacT you
- 13:47Speaker 3: being reliant upon self, But it's not reliant upon self
- 13:50Speaker 3: because it's relying on a bigger There's so much something
- 13:52Speaker 3: bigger there than it is just the self. It's so
- 13:55Speaker 3: much bigger than the ego. We're so much more than
- 13:58Speaker 3: all those things. And then when we think in all
- 14:01Speaker 3: those in those ways from the ego, it's very limited.
- 14:05Speaker 3: The solutions are limited.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I love the solutions when they're coming to me because
- 14:15Speaker 1: I've I've allowed myself to be in that space of
- 14:19Speaker 1: instead of focusing so much on the problem, what is
- 14:22Speaker 1: the solution? Well, if I think there's a problem, why
- 14:26Speaker 1: am I perceiving it as a problems? First of all, right,
- 14:29Speaker 1: start asking those questions and then okay, well what's a solution?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Because I'm not going to get anywhere with just focusing
- 14:34Speaker 1: on the problem. But This also comes to well, get
- 14:40Speaker 1: a pen and paper and start writing, because when you
- 14:45Speaker 1: when you start writing, information comes because you're right here,
- 14:49Speaker 1: right now, in this moment, asking.
- 14:53Speaker 2: For a solution.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And when I say ask, I'm asking Universe, God, angels, spirit.
- 15:00Speaker 1: It helped me with a solution, but I have to
- 15:05Speaker 1: be open to that solution. I have to be open
- 15:07Speaker 1: to receiving solutions to begin with. And if I'm too
- 15:11Speaker 1: far into the problem, then I'm not going to receive
- 15:13Speaker 1: a solution. And even if a solution came, I would
- 15:16Speaker 1: deny it because I'm still focused on the problem. I
- 15:19Speaker 1: can't receive the solution. So it just we just keep
- 15:24Speaker 1: coming back to it.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Just being right.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Now, be here, right now, and and being focused on
- 15:31Speaker 1: the problem is being stuck in my head.
- 15:36Speaker 3: It's being stuck in your head like you're being you're
- 15:38Speaker 3: you're operating from the old programming right.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Yeah, which it served its purpose at the time because
- 15:49Speaker 1: it didn't feel good, and we know that the way
- 15:51Speaker 1: the way we were before didn't feel good. And being
- 15:55Speaker 1: in the being problem focused, I'm being victim focused and saying, really,
- 16:06Speaker 1: there's no hope for me. There's no hope for me
- 16:08Speaker 1: because I can't get it right.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I'm not good enough.
- 16:11Speaker 1: This keeps happening, nothing goes right. How do I get
- 16:15Speaker 1: myself out of this? Well, I'm still focused on what's
- 16:20Speaker 1: wrong when really all of it in a sense, and
- 16:27Speaker 1: this may not resonate with some people right now, it
- 16:30Speaker 1: wouldn't have resonated with me if I had heard this
- 16:32Speaker 1: twenty or thirty years ago.
- 16:34Speaker 2: But in a.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Sense, all of it is relevant, all of it because
- 16:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't know any different unless I went through all
- 16:46Speaker 1: this crap stuff and the healing, but learning to be
- 16:54Speaker 1: in the present moment with myself and learn about myself
- 16:56Speaker 1: and grow in myself and listen. Like if I hadn't
- 17:00Speaker 1: done all of those things, of course we wouldn't be
- 17:05Speaker 1: having BEV would not be having this conversation with me.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Let's put it that way. I wouldn't be part of
- 17:09Speaker 1: this conversation.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Me neither. But that power is.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Within you, nobody. This is the most difficult thing. People
- 17:21Speaker 1: don't understand, and it took me a long time to
- 17:23Speaker 1: grasp it too. Nobody can do it for you. You
- 17:28Speaker 1: have to take the steps. You have to take the initiative.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Bev has to be the one to get up out
- 17:35Speaker 1: of bed. To grab a pen and paper and start
- 17:36Speaker 1: writing whatever's coming to her that's on her. Nobody's gonna
- 17:40Speaker 1: do it for her, and the benefits that she got
- 17:43Speaker 1: from doing it goes above and beyond her just staying
- 17:49Speaker 1: comfy in her bed. She got out of the box.
- 17:52Speaker 1: She's like, you know, I need to get up. I'm
- 17:54Speaker 1: gonna go do this.
- 17:56Speaker 2: She had to do.
- 17:56Speaker 1: That wasn't her partner laying in bed saying honey, go
- 18:00Speaker 1: write that stuff down that you're thinking about, because he
- 18:02Speaker 1: didn't know.
- 18:04Speaker 2: What she's doing.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So it's it's having the strength within yourself to make
- 18:12Speaker 1: the decisions the choices to it's just time to do
- 18:16Speaker 1: something different.
- 18:19Speaker 3: And we're so we get caught up in the princess
- 18:23Speaker 3: story right that someone's gonna come save us, and someone's
- 18:26Speaker 3: and that's that keeps us in a on a hamster
- 18:29Speaker 3: will because because nobody's gonna come save you, we.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Have to be the one to save ourselves.
- 18:34Speaker 3: And when you were saying that, my partner, Freeman is
- 18:36Speaker 3: not going to be like, oh, I'll go write that
- 18:39Speaker 3: down for you. Yeah, tell me what it was, I'll
- 18:41Speaker 3: write it down for you, because things get lost in translation.
- 18:45Speaker 3: So I was to conduit at that moment for the
- 18:47Speaker 3: information that I needed for me at that moment. That's
- 18:50Speaker 3: what it was for. And we share the information and
- 18:54Speaker 3: if someone needs it, or if someone wants to practice out,
- 18:57Speaker 3: or they or maybe they take a spin off on
- 18:59Speaker 3: it and figure out how to do something a little
- 19:01Speaker 3: bit differently.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It's perfect. It's everything as exactly as it's supposed to be.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Even as you were saying all this stuff that we've experienced,
- 19:10Speaker 3: I had to experience all that stuff. That's how I
- 19:12Speaker 3: decided what feels good and what doesn't feel good. I
- 19:16Speaker 3: think I've said this before. My my newest grandson brand
- 19:21Speaker 3: the mom mom tells them, don't touch that it's hot, Well,
- 19:24Speaker 3: he walks right over and touches it because he wants to,
- 19:27Speaker 3: because it's his experience. He's not going to take the
- 19:29Speaker 3: word of somebody else. He's going to have the experience.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And now that he knows, Okay, that's what hot, that's
- 19:34Speaker 3: what she's talking about. Okay, i'll bee it. I'll see
- 19:37Speaker 3: how I manage things in the future. Still might touch
- 19:39Speaker 3: something that's hot.
- 19:40Speaker 1: It's okay, and we keep doing it throughout our life.
- 19:47Speaker 2: It's true.
- 19:48Speaker 1: We got to learn.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And it's just the feeling part. That the feeling part
- 19:53Speaker 3: is such a big deal to me. It's so it's
- 19:56Speaker 3: so important, And I thought before, oh great, I can
- 19:59Speaker 3: feel things. Who cares my feeling things is so important?
- 20:03Speaker 3: I feel like I can. I can recognize if one
- 20:05Speaker 3: of my animals are hurting, I can tune into them
- 20:07Speaker 3: and feel those kind of things and then kind of
- 20:09Speaker 3: figure out, okay, spirit what needs to be done, like
- 20:12Speaker 3: how what's the what's the solution? Right, because now I'm
- 20:14Speaker 3: open for solutions. I'm not staring at the problem. So
- 20:17Speaker 3: it's useful and all aspects of our lives. It's not
- 20:20Speaker 3: just useful in our conversation, and it's it's a matter
- 20:24Speaker 3: of practicing it and just doing it.
- 20:28Speaker 1: No matter how much you think you're going to get
- 20:30Speaker 1: away from yourself, you're not.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I've tried.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Every time I like go, I'd go running off someplace
- 20:38Speaker 3: and next thing you know, there she is again.
- 20:41Speaker 2: That's right. Yeah, you take you with you wherever you go.
- 20:44Speaker 1: So if you think, if you think the cigarette is
- 20:48Speaker 1: going to be the solution, no, as soon as you're
- 20:50Speaker 1: not even through the entire process of smoking a cigarette,
- 20:55Speaker 1: it's still all there, you and all the stuff, all
- 21:00Speaker 1: the life experiences are still there if you think that
- 21:03Speaker 1: the alcohol is going to be the solution now, because
- 21:09Speaker 1: when you sober up, it's all still there.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Like nothing changes.
- 21:14Speaker 1: This is what they say, right, nothing changes till you change.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You can't get away from it.
- 21:22Speaker 3: And it feels so daunting that process, like you're as
- 21:25Speaker 3: you're describing it, it feels so daunting. But when you actually
- 21:27Speaker 3: when I actually got up and wrote, I felt great.
- 21:30Speaker 3: I felt exhilarated, I felt uplifted, And when I went
- 21:33Speaker 3: back to bed, I went back to sleep.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it was not a big deal.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Otherwise would have I would have still probably been playing
- 21:38Speaker 3: with the story in my head, or playing with the
- 21:41Speaker 3: new words I found and creating and stuff like that.
- 21:44Speaker 2: But I went right fast back to sleep, no problem.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you would have. You would have laid there and
- 21:49Speaker 1: then sift through the information that you were receiving and
- 21:54Speaker 1: processing information like you wouldn't have gone to sleep anyway.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You would have and then probably been more tired when
- 22:00Speaker 1: you got up.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Or the process that I was doing is like, okay, spirit,
- 22:05Speaker 3: do I really need to get out of bed right
- 22:06Speaker 3: now and go write this?
- 22:07Speaker 2: Do down? This is this? Really? That?
- 22:08Speaker 3: Should I should I right now? Like I'm asking questions
- 22:10Speaker 3: when I've already like they're like, listen, we just gave
- 22:12Speaker 3: you some information. You can do what you want with it, right,
- 22:14Speaker 3: And I took the an incentive to get up out
- 22:18Speaker 3: of bed and go actually follow through on it.
- 22:20Speaker 2: And it felt good.
- 22:22Speaker 1: It felt great, Yeah, good, yep, and the information comes.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But you gotta be. You got to be. You have
- 22:32Speaker 1: to have less happening in your head than what you're
- 22:36Speaker 1: used to.
- 22:38Speaker 2: That is not easy, That is not.
- 22:44Speaker 1: So.
- 22:45Speaker 2: I spent my whole life in that position. I really do.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I feel like I've spent all my life in that
- 22:49Speaker 3: position for such a long time, and now it's now
- 22:53Speaker 3: I'm like stepping away from it because it's not necessary anymore.
- 22:58Speaker 3: It kept me safe for fifty something yours. I don't
- 23:01Speaker 3: need it anymore to keep me safe because I am safe.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's like, okay, I have calmer weather now.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And so when somebody else is in their storm and
- 23:14Speaker 1: their chaos and they got a tornado happening, I'm just like,
- 23:17Speaker 1: oh no, no, no, this is yours.
- 23:21Speaker 2: You don't need to suck me into it.
- 23:25Speaker 1: This is the way you feel that you need to
- 23:29Speaker 1: operate from this type of space this is your programming,
- 23:33Speaker 1: this is what you're used to, and I'm no longer
- 23:38Speaker 1: used to that. So you go, do you, You go
- 23:43Speaker 1: have your chaos, and I'm going to stay over here
- 23:46Speaker 1: on the sidelines and watch you do it, because you're
- 23:48Speaker 1: not ready to listen. For one, you're not ready to
- 23:51Speaker 1: do anything different. You're not ready to be in the
- 23:55Speaker 1: now and be with yourself and sift through these emotions
- 24:01Speaker 1: that you're carrying. You're not You're just not ready to
- 24:03Speaker 1: do any of that, and so your mode of operation
- 24:06Speaker 1: is chaos. Well you go, do you, boo, because I'm
- 24:10Speaker 1: just gonna hang out over here and hope that you
- 24:13Speaker 1: get out of this experience, which you need to for
- 24:16Speaker 1: your own growth. And you're a reminder for me of
- 24:22Speaker 1: how much I enjoy my calm. So thank you for
- 24:25Speaker 1: showing up and reminding me that I'm okay.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Because my m used to be chaos.
- 24:32Speaker 1: My MO was drama, my MO was victimization, and now
- 24:37Speaker 1: that I'm not in that space, it shows up every
- 24:40Speaker 1: once in a while. But now I'm not in that
- 24:42Speaker 1: frequent space and I'm sitting back and I'm watching other
- 24:44Speaker 1: people do it. You you go, because you're you are
- 24:50Speaker 1: excellent at it and I no longer am, so I'm
- 24:54Speaker 1: just gonna sit back and you you you remind me
- 24:57Speaker 1: of what I'm no longer doing.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yep, I like it, so I'm yeah, you're okay, sorry,
- 25:07Speaker 3: and just reminds me of like it's asking like again,
- 25:10Speaker 3: it's just such a simple thing, but asking why is
- 25:12Speaker 3: it showing up for me?
- 25:14Speaker 2: Why is it showing up in my experience? Asking those
- 25:16Speaker 2: questions because that was.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Something that you would you would prompt me to and
- 25:21Speaker 3: it's like not always could I get there from there?
- 25:23Speaker 3: But I can now and it took practice, but I
- 25:26Speaker 3: just stayed with it. You planned a seed a long
- 25:28Speaker 3: time ago, and it's like it's finally come to fruition
- 25:31Speaker 3: where I use that all the time, like I'm asking
- 25:33Speaker 3: why is it showing up for me? And then that's
- 25:35Speaker 3: so beneficial for the people that are willing to listen
- 25:38Speaker 3: to you when they're going through their experiences and you
- 25:41Speaker 3: talk to them and you're letting them know you know,
- 25:44Speaker 3: instead of well it just happened recently, And it's like
- 25:47Speaker 3: I said, well, instead of coming from perhaps a victim standpoint, recognizing,
- 25:53Speaker 3: you know, why is it showing up for you?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Not why is it why is this happening to me?
- 25:57Speaker 3: Because then then you it empowers you disempowers the problem,
- 26:03Speaker 3: and it empowers us. So that's been something frequently. And
- 26:09Speaker 3: I even heard someone that i'd followed for a while
- 26:12Speaker 3: now and she said that she had gone to Peru
- 26:14Speaker 3: and she had had this situation and she said that
- 26:18Speaker 3: at first she was like, you know, like totally caught
- 26:21Speaker 3: her off guard by these people that she thought were
- 26:24Speaker 3: her friends, and it turned out not to be so,
- 26:26Speaker 3: and she instead of being in the victim place, she
- 26:29Speaker 3: stopped and felt all the things, not felt it from
- 26:32Speaker 3: the victim's standpoint, but just felt the actual energy of
- 26:35Speaker 3: what she was feeling. And then she's moved through it
- 26:37Speaker 3: so quickly because we need to feel things and we've
- 26:41Speaker 3: just learned not to feel things because it was scary
- 26:44Speaker 3: because those feelings could be out of control, but it
- 26:47Speaker 3: doesn't last that long, and it can only be out
- 26:49Speaker 3: of control if you're feeding.
- 26:50Speaker 2: It with the mind. Yeah.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I heard a process recently and I didn't send it
- 26:56Speaker 3: to you. I probably will, but it was actually a skitch.
- 26:59Speaker 3: The guy was like in a song and it was
- 27:01Speaker 3: written and stimpy, and what it was like this guy
- 27:04Speaker 3: was having this conversation. So it's like we get all
- 27:07Speaker 3: these we get these downloads of all this information to go,
- 27:09Speaker 3: want to go do these things, and all of a sudden,
- 27:11Speaker 3: our mind starts getting.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Activated and says, you can't do that, you can't do that.
- 27:15Speaker 3: And it's like, how many times did I stop and
- 27:18Speaker 3: listen to that voice and then not do it because
- 27:21Speaker 3: I didn't think I could because I let myself talk
- 27:25Speaker 3: myself out of it. I let my mind talk myself
- 27:27Speaker 3: out of information that was valuable that was flowing to me,
- 27:30Speaker 3: just like I could have let my mind talk myself
- 27:32Speaker 3: out of getting up and writing down that information that
- 27:35Speaker 3: for me was valuable for me. Yeah, that's so crazy,
- 27:40Speaker 3: and it's so crazy when we get into these spaces
- 27:42Speaker 3: how it shows up for you to walk through the process,
- 27:45Speaker 3: and then in when you're helping someone else through the process,
- 27:47Speaker 3: you recognize how it benefited you when you went through
- 27:50Speaker 3: the same situations.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we are we are interesting creatures, for sure, Yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: for sure. And that the best part, though, is to
- 28:05Speaker 1: be interested in your creature, be interested in yourself, Be
- 28:10Speaker 1: interested in why you do the things you do, how
- 28:13Speaker 1: you do the things you do, the emotions you feel,
- 28:17Speaker 1: and when things happen. Why am I feeling this way
- 28:22Speaker 1: about this experience that doesn't even affect me, and I'm
- 28:25Speaker 1: not even involved in it, but it's affecting me. Say
- 28:27Speaker 1: with that, because it's a reminder of something you did
- 28:30Speaker 1: experience and you just haven't done your healing. You may
- 28:33Speaker 1: not have done your healing around it yet. And so
- 28:37Speaker 1: every experience gives us an opportunity for self reflection. Whether
- 28:41Speaker 1: you're involved in the situation or you're an observer of
- 28:44Speaker 1: the situation, there is something for you to reflect on
- 28:50Speaker 1: for your own inner strength and growth and learning. And
- 28:56Speaker 1: it's going to be what you decided it's going to be.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And I say these things in a sense of am
- 29:03Speaker 1: I walking around with every person I see in every
- 29:06Speaker 1: conversation I have that, oh I'm going to learn something? No,
- 29:09Speaker 1: I don't think that. But I am very observant as
- 29:12Speaker 1: to how am I feeling, How is this person talking,
- 29:17Speaker 1: what are they saying to me? What am I saying
- 29:19Speaker 1: to them back? Because it might be something that I'm
- 29:21Speaker 1: saying out loud to them that I need to hear
- 29:23Speaker 1: from myself, but it's coming from me. And that happens
- 29:27Speaker 1: a lot when we're having these conversations for the tea time.
- 29:33Speaker 1: It's like, oh, yeah, I needed to hear that. I
- 29:35Speaker 1: need to be reminded of that. But if I'm not
- 29:39Speaker 1: present with Bev when we're having the conversation, I would
- 29:42Speaker 1: not hear the words that would click to be go
- 29:45Speaker 1: oh yeah, that needs my attention.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Oh I remember now. Yeah.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I just had that and didn't do anything with it.
- 29:52Speaker 1: And now I'm being reminded that I need to do
- 29:55Speaker 1: something with it, because I'm going to show up again
- 29:57Speaker 1: and it's going to keep showing up until I do
- 30:00Speaker 1: some work around it. So all of it's okay. Wherever
- 30:05Speaker 1: you are in life with yourself, it's okay. It's a
- 30:08Speaker 1: processed None of us are none of us are perfect.
- 30:10Speaker 1: None of us are getting it right. Where you can
- 30:13Speaker 1: just keep doing better. That's my goal, just keep doing better.
- 30:19Speaker 1: And I am not perfect at that. I falter on
- 30:22Speaker 1: many occasions, and I learn from it and I recognize
- 30:27Speaker 1: it sooner than I did before, and I don't stay
- 30:29Speaker 1: in it like I used to. And so it's just
- 30:33Speaker 1: a matter of where you're at with yourself. And if
- 30:36Speaker 1: you want something to be different.
- 30:39Speaker 2: You have a habit.
- 30:41Speaker 1: You're overweight, your finances, aren't great, your relationships aren't great.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Whatever it is, then make do something to make a change,
- 30:50Speaker 1: and just a little step in one direction is the
- 30:53Speaker 1: best thing you can do.
- 30:57Speaker 3: And it's another form of giving and receiving really, because
- 30:59Speaker 3: that's what when I'm processing instead of giving information all
- 31:02Speaker 3: the time, allowing yourself to receive the information that's coming in.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Well, when you achieve it is you got to implement it.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Though there's a second step. Yeah, I receive it and
- 31:12Speaker 1: I hear it. What am I going to do with it?
- 31:15Speaker 2: Though?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Am I gonna just gloss over it and say, oh yeah,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I know, Oh yeah, yeah, I probably should do that.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I've done that many times too in my life.
- 31:26Speaker 2: So it doesn't end, well, no, it doesn't. It keeps
- 31:32Speaker 2: you on the same cycle. Yep.
- 31:37Speaker 1: So friends, if you want something to change, you gotta
- 31:41Speaker 1: change it, and it starts with you, doesn't. It's not
- 31:45Speaker 1: changing others, it's changing you. So just take something whatever
- 31:50Speaker 1: you are learning. If you learn something from this video,
- 31:53Speaker 1: the next step is implement. Start somewhere, take a step
- 31:58Speaker 1: in a different direction. You have to get that momentum
- 32:03Speaker 1: going for you because nobody else is going to do it.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Like Bev said, Nobody is going to come rescue you.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Nobody is going to come solve your problems. Nobody's going
- 32:11Speaker 1: to to make the changes necessary for you to feel better.
- 32:16Speaker 1: It's your job to do it, and it's your responsibility.
- 32:20Speaker 1: So you got to start somewhere, So take the take.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Maybe the easiest or simplest thing that you can think
- 32:27Speaker 1: of right now, if you heard it in this video
- 32:28Speaker 1: or read it in a book or heard it from
- 32:30Speaker 1: a different influencer, is what could I start right now?
- 32:34Speaker 1: Could I start right now and start doing it?
- 32:41Speaker 2: Oh? Sorry?
- 32:43Speaker 3: Oh yes, final words, it's it's taking your power back,
- 32:48Speaker 3: because otherwise you're giving your power to something that you
- 32:51Speaker 3: think that's out there, that's going to come savior, that's
- 32:53Speaker 3: going to come do something for you. It's you taking
- 32:55Speaker 3: your power back, you stepping into your power, and you
- 32:58Speaker 3: following through and doing the things that you need to
- 33:00Speaker 3: for yourself.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and we're all figuring it out. So nobody's perfect
- 33:07Speaker 1: at it, but we're gonna do it with the best
- 33:08Speaker 1: we can and keep getting better. So with that, friends,
- 33:13Speaker 1: other people around these conversations, so be resourceful. Share the
- 33:17Speaker 1: content from here, share the links, whether it's us a
- 33:21Speaker 1: book you've read, or another podcast. Wherever you're getting your information,
- 33:27Speaker 1: share it so you can find us on many platforms.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Of course, we're here on YouTube, we're on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Spreaker, Spotify,
- 33:37Speaker 1: and podcast attic and so we're kind of kind of everywhere.
- 33:45Speaker 1: We're everywhere and nowhere all at the same time.
- 33:49Speaker 2: That's right.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with this tea time with Amy
- 33:55Speaker 1: and Bed. We appreciate you and we wish you well.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Take care bye,
