- 1:41Speaker 1: Good evening and welcome to the Believe in the Journey
- 1:43Speaker 1: podcast where I am your host, Trevida Harris, and tonight
- 1:47Speaker 1: I have a very special guest with Alitha Robinson, who
- 1:51Speaker 1: is the owner of Infinite Vision Brands. She is a
- 1:55Speaker 1: new author of the ninety day CEO, the Mind Shift,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and the visionary of the I am becoming a powerful
- 2:03Speaker 1: women's empowerment movement, and we're going to be talking to
- 2:06Speaker 1: her tonight. But you know, we can't do anything before
- 2:10Speaker 1: we go to God in prayer. So let's do that,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and then we're going to bring her up and I'm
- 2:14Speaker 1: going to allow her to introduce herself a little bit more,
- 2:17Speaker 1: and then we're going to get into this conversation about
- 2:20Speaker 1: this new journey that she is on. And you guys
- 2:23Speaker 1: do not want to miss this conversation. But let's go
- 2:25Speaker 1: to God at prayer first. They're Heavenly Father. I want
- 2:28Speaker 1: to thank you for bringing us together as you do
- 2:31Speaker 1: each and every time we come in front of you.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Let the words of our mouths fall upon the ears
- 2:36Speaker 1: that need to hear. Let something that we say bring
- 2:38Speaker 1: them closer to You. There's someone out there tonight that
- 2:41Speaker 1: is seeking guide and seeking a place to turn to,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and they don't know how to get there. If we
- 2:47Speaker 1: are the vessels that bring them to you, let us
- 2:49Speaker 1: be just that, continue to guide us into the purpose
- 2:53Speaker 1: in which you have created each and every one of us.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We know that the world that we've been on sometimes
- 2:58Speaker 1: doesn't look like it's leading to anywhere, but we know
- 3:01Speaker 1: that it's all connected to the purpose in which we've
- 3:04Speaker 1: been created. So allow us to be with you, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: you to be with us, and let us go where
- 3:10Speaker 1: you lead us. And your Persius and holy name Jesus,
- 3:12Speaker 1: we pray. And then.
- 3:16Speaker 2: All right, my.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Guest tonight, Miss Alitha Robinson, I want to thank you
- 3:22Speaker 1: for being here.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Absolutely. I want to say its honor, thank you so
- 3:26Speaker 3: much for having me here.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am, I want you to take a moment to
- 3:31Speaker 1: introduce yourself as well, So again introduction, but you know
- 3:38Speaker 1: I want you to give an introduction yourself.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay again. My name is Altha Robinson. I'm
- 3:44Speaker 3: the owner and founder of Infinite Vision Brands. Infinite Vision
- 3:49Speaker 3: Brands was founded in twenty twenty in the midst of
- 3:55Speaker 3: me learning that I had a eye condition. Well, I
- 4:00Speaker 3: knew my whole life but I didn't start to have
- 4:02Speaker 3: any problems or any issues until twenty twenty and I
- 4:08Speaker 3: said that I lost my jo.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Why do I lose my job?
- 4:10Speaker 3: I walked out of my job and the father told me,
- 4:14Speaker 3: you know you have to do something.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You know you're not going to just sit around. We're
- 4:18Speaker 2: not doing that right.
- 4:19Speaker 3: So he gave me the Infinite Vision brands, and he said,
- 4:24Speaker 3: regardless of you losing your sight, you're thinking that you're
- 4:29Speaker 3: losing your sight, but you'll never ever lose the vision
- 4:32Speaker 3: that I gave you.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And so that's how Infinite Vision was born. Definitely. Yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 2: the founder of I'm Becoming and also my book. I'm
- 4:47Speaker 2: so proud of this book.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I'm so proud of this and I want to say
- 4:51Speaker 3: thank you so much y'all. The story about me at
- 4:55Speaker 3: your Vida meeting, like it was nothing but the father
- 4:59Speaker 3: was nothing but him, Like just to be real about that,
- 5:02Speaker 3: Like it really was nothing but him. And he always
- 5:05Speaker 3: has a plan, and his plan is always going to
- 5:07Speaker 3: go through. So us meeting through one of my friends
- 5:12Speaker 3: and she told me about her and I was trying
- 5:16Speaker 3: to write this book by myself. I was trying to
- 5:19Speaker 3: self publish myself. Yeah, it was not working, so I
- 5:23Speaker 3: was like, so.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I gotta help me.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm a pull my hat out.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Please somebody, man, I'll be please.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And I ended up calling my friend back and she
- 5:30Speaker 3: was like, I told you about the lady and I
- 5:33Speaker 3: was like, please just give me her number because I'm
- 5:35Speaker 3: about to go crazy. I can't do this and literally
- 5:39Speaker 3: me and should be to just linked up and she
- 5:42Speaker 3: just helped me. And she's been such a great help
- 5:44Speaker 3: like such, and that's such an amazing person.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So I thank you very much for the help.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You're welcome. I'm glad to do what I know. It
- 5:51Speaker 1: was frustrating because when you first called, you were like,
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to get this done. I want to get
- 5:57Speaker 1: this done. I got this event coming the teens. I
- 6:02Speaker 1: want to have my book and I've been trying to
- 6:04Speaker 1: do it on KDP. I've changed this and I've changed that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and it still says that it's not right. Okay, calm down, relax,
- 6:11Speaker 1: just send me what you have and we'll go from there.
- 6:15Speaker 2: And that's literally what you said.
- 6:17Speaker 3: And I was literally a little more stressed out than
- 6:20Speaker 3: what you get it because I was I was giving you.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Know what, Yeah, I mean, yeah, you were literally frantic
- 6:29Speaker 1: you were, and you were like, it's just not gonna
- 6:32Speaker 1: be done. It's just not gonna happen. We had a
- 6:36Speaker 1: little hiccup with some pages and you were like, oh,
- 6:42Speaker 1: this is not what I said. No, ma'am. What we're
- 6:45Speaker 1: not gonna do is that we're gonna take a moment
- 6:48Speaker 1: and we're gonna have a moment of prayer and we're
- 6:51Speaker 1: gonna talk this thing out and I promise you it's
- 6:53Speaker 1: still gonna be great, and it's still gonna be done,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it's done in plenty of time so that you
- 6:58Speaker 1: will happen for this event. Because what we're not gonna
- 7:01Speaker 1: do is that So.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It happened. That's pretty much what it did.
- 7:08Speaker 1: What happened.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Everything Everything load like water, Baby, it sload like water.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I was so thissiting.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I was just I'm talking about when you started, when
- 7:20Speaker 3: I was like sending you everything. When I sent you
- 7:22Speaker 3: everything and you were sent back, you was like okay.
- 7:25Speaker 3: So we then got to this stage. I was like what, like,
- 7:27Speaker 3: oh my goodness, Like you.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Should have seen me, girl, I was running around the house.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I ain't gonna lie.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I was so happy, like like we started, this whole
- 7:36Speaker 1: conversation started. The process. March the nineteenth. I was done
- 7:40Speaker 1: and completed with everything that you needed, literally by the
- 7:48Speaker 1: fifth of this month. Yep. So yeah, you know, I
- 7:53Speaker 1: wanted to make sure you gave me a deadline. You
- 7:57Speaker 1: gave me what your idea, what your plans were, and
- 8:00Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure that I could fulfill that.
- 8:03Speaker 1: And I wasn't overextending myself. I wasn't, you know, trying
- 8:06Speaker 1: to sell you a dream or anything.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It was the.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Fact that this is what you asked for, this is
- 8:13Speaker 1: what you needed, and God sent you to me because
- 8:15Speaker 1: he knows that this is what you needed. And you're
- 8:20Speaker 1: so frustrated. And I heard it and I was like, God,
- 8:23Speaker 1: she she you sent her to the right place, and
- 8:27Speaker 1: she got calmed down.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And I have been working on my book. Liked it
- 8:31Speaker 3: took me about six months to write the book to
- 8:34Speaker 3: just really together, and you know, my eye conditions, so
- 8:38Speaker 3: I'm like, oh my goodness, I'm doing everything by myself.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I'm trying to do everything along. And it was five
- 8:44Speaker 3: months of me getting the book together. Finally got the
- 8:48Speaker 3: book together and then I'm like, okay, so I'm just
- 8:52Speaker 3: gonna do this and I'm gonna do that, and it
- 8:53Speaker 3: didn't work out like that.
- 8:55Speaker 1: So it was like, and Katip, itself care be very tricky,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and I tell people that it can be very tricky
- 9:03Speaker 1: because I know this firsthand, which is part of the
- 9:06Speaker 1: reason why I started Wings of Transformation Publishing, because my
- 9:10Speaker 1: frustration with the whole process and I got frustrated and
- 9:14Speaker 1: I was ready to throw my laptop and I was like,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you know what, I forget this. But God said, I
- 9:19Speaker 1: told you to do this, and this is what I
- 9:20Speaker 1: need you to do. And I was like, okay, so
- 9:23Speaker 1: my first book, I'm telling you, it's just twenty six
- 9:27Speaker 1: of my favorite poems I put together in a book.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And I was like, God, if this is what I'm
- 9:30Speaker 1: supposed to do, it's going to be like this. But
- 9:33Speaker 1: the perfectionist in me would not just settle for that,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and so I was like, Okay, now you've put me
- 9:39Speaker 1: into something with me having a stroke, my own health
- 9:42Speaker 1: conditions and having a brain disorder. I'm like, okay, I'm
- 9:46Speaker 1: not giving this to anybody else. I'm going to sit
- 9:50Speaker 1: down and I'm going to learn this process. And so
- 9:53Speaker 1: now that I've learned this process, my thing is I
- 9:57Speaker 1: want people to come to me, and I want them
- 9:59Speaker 1: to understand and that I don't want you to get frustrated.
- 10:03Speaker 1: If you feel like you're getting frustrated, call me. I'm
- 10:05Speaker 1: here to talk you through the process from start to finish.
- 10:08Speaker 1: And just called the number that you see on my website.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I'm going to answer the.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Pow y'all call her.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm going to answer the phone. You can text me.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm going to respond. You know, if you have questions,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and you know that for yourself, if you've had questions,
- 10:26Speaker 1: you've reached out and you're like, hey, I got a question.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I don't want to be bothering you, but I got
- 10:31Speaker 1: a question. I'm like, whatever it is, call me, text me,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I mean, I can't answer. If you don't reach
- 10:37Speaker 1: out to me, I'll be I can fix some problem
- 10:41Speaker 1: you're not expressing to me. And so.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I told you your attitude, YO, disposition, your demeanor, yr voice,
- 10:51Speaker 3: everything is calming.
- 10:53Speaker 2: So I'm like, I'm over here.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Frantic about to Luis and you were so calm, like
- 10:59Speaker 3: you just like, so you.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Gonna you're gonna be okay. Just calm down, It's gonna
- 11:06Speaker 2: be okay.
- 11:07Speaker 3: And that's reassured for people that you know, I'm thinking
- 11:11Speaker 3: in my head I have this deadline, like I have
- 11:13Speaker 3: this event, like I want my book to drop on
- 11:15Speaker 3: that day. Like, no, you don't understand. You was like, no,
- 11:18Speaker 3: I understand. Just calm down, you know I yeah, but
- 11:23Speaker 3: I mean it's and if I could tell anybody that
- 11:27Speaker 3: would come to you you to publish a book, I
- 11:30Speaker 3: can tell you that she's patient, she is understanding, she'll
- 11:37Speaker 3: see things that you don't see.
- 11:39Speaker 2: She'll help you.
- 11:40Speaker 3: So that thing I needed, and that's why the father
- 11:44Speaker 3: sent me.
- 11:45Speaker 2: To her, because that's what I needed. I'm not playing.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I'm structured and I'm disciplined.
- 11:51Speaker 1: You know what I'm staying.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I can execute my goals because I finished.
- 11:54Speaker 3: My book right, but I still needed that, you know
- 11:58Speaker 3: what I'm saying, that reassurance that you know what I'm saying,
- 12:01Speaker 3: that that you need to calm down, Like.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, the other questions you were asking you was like
- 12:07Speaker 1: is it really okay? Is it really good? Or do
- 12:09Speaker 1: you think And I was like, it's fine.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Trust me.
- 12:12Speaker 1: If it was anything wrong with it, if the setup
- 12:15Speaker 1: was bad, if the flow was messed up, I'm gonna
- 12:19Speaker 1: tell you. I'm gonna tell you, and I'm gonna put
- 12:22Speaker 1: it together in the way that it should flow and
- 12:25Speaker 1: go from there, and that's exactly what happened.
- 12:29Speaker 3: And then then you sent me so you sent me
- 12:31Speaker 3: some stuff and you was like, okay, so look this
- 12:33Speaker 3: how I did it.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And I was like.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That looks so good, Like that looked good and needed to.
- 12:44Speaker 2: To then see the book put together. That blew me.
- 12:48Speaker 2: I was blow.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I think I called you and we was on the
- 12:50Speaker 3: phone for like two hours.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I was like, I believe, I'm after I can I
- 12:54Speaker 2: believe it? Got it? Did you know what I'm saying?
- 12:55Speaker 2: I was just I was so I was so happy,
- 12:58Speaker 2: Like the book is.
- 13:01Speaker 3: A different thing from you knowing now everything is in there,
- 13:06Speaker 3: is together and now.
- 13:08Speaker 2: It is a book.
- 13:09Speaker 3: You're an author, like that's that's different from writing the book.
- 13:13Speaker 3: You can write the book boom, that's fine, but being
- 13:16Speaker 3: published is different. So yes, that's what we talked about
- 13:22Speaker 3: my books the day CEO my ship.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'm sorry we didn't even talk about the book.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, like, you're got to talk about
- 13:28Speaker 1: that because I'm gonna ask you what made you want
- 13:31Speaker 1: to actually do this? Which I know that you have
- 13:33Speaker 1: an event coming up this weekend that is yes, the
- 13:37Speaker 1: baby is born and so miss Patri says, congratulations, because
- 13:43Speaker 1: it was you were so overwhelmed with thinking that this
- 13:49Speaker 1: was not going to happen. And you have the CEO
- 13:54Speaker 1: networking event that's coming up, and then you have the
- 13:57Speaker 1: I Am Becoming luncheon that's coming up on May sixteenth,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and you were like, I want it for this and
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, relaxed, its will happened. So if you
- 14:10Speaker 1: want to have it for the luncheon and not for
- 14:14Speaker 1: the networking event that you're having this weekend.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Because the I Am Becoming, that's the women's group, is
- 14:23Speaker 3: really my heart.
- 14:23Speaker 2: That's where I'm at.
- 14:24Speaker 3: That's what speaking into women is what I believe that
- 14:29Speaker 3: I was born to do. I know that's my purpose. Right,
- 14:33Speaker 3: So it couldn't have been at a better time. I
- 14:37Speaker 3: had to drop it in because I want to give
- 14:40Speaker 3: women information on how to shift the way they think
- 14:44Speaker 3: about themselves. Right, It's not just have to be a
- 14:48Speaker 3: CEO of a business. You can be a mother at
- 14:51Speaker 3: home and you have priorities and you have you have
- 14:54Speaker 3: things that you have to put in place. You have
- 14:56Speaker 3: to compartmentalize different things in your life like we to do.
- 15:01Speaker 3: So that book has that in it and so I
- 15:05Speaker 3: think that the book in this event is going to
- 15:07Speaker 3: go hand in hand with each other because of the information,
- 15:12Speaker 3: because of the confident boosts, because of me pouring into them.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Or anybody that will read the book.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I'm pouring into them information on how to shift their mind.
- 15:24Speaker 3: When I say shift your mind, I mean a different
- 15:27Speaker 3: way of thinking, right, because you know, my grandma used
- 15:31Speaker 3: to stay stinking thinking.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Don't be in that stinking thinking. Get out of that
- 15:35Speaker 3: stinking thinking. And my dad's hold me to day. Get
- 15:38Speaker 3: out your head. You stay in your head, you always,
- 15:41Speaker 3: he said, he calls me a perfectionist all the time.
- 15:44Speaker 3: For you to say that, it's crazy because he called
- 15:46Speaker 3: me there all the time.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You're perfectionists.
- 15:48Speaker 3: You can't There's no way you'll be able to finish
- 15:51Speaker 3: or do something if you're always picking little things out right,
- 15:56Speaker 3: So that goes with what you said, could I But
- 15:59Speaker 3: I called your I was like everything good?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Like, is everything okay?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Like?
- 16:02Speaker 2: Is the girl straight? Like?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Everything good? You was like, yes, yes, it's good. So
- 16:08Speaker 3: but I just think that it'll motivate women. I think
- 16:10Speaker 3: that it will help them to really start to process,
- 16:15Speaker 3: reprocess or relearn or rethink how they you know, relearn
- 16:19Speaker 3: how to think.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Put it down way. Yeah, relearn how to.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Think because we think, we think so much about ourselves
- 16:27Speaker 3: and then we have to deal with the world on
- 16:29Speaker 3: top of it. You know what I'm saying, and what
- 16:31Speaker 3: they think about us, and and then that starts to
- 16:34Speaker 3: literally trickle down to us. And what I'd like to
- 16:37Speaker 3: say is what what we speak to ourselves? And here
- 16:41Speaker 3: if we speak it out loud on our ears and
- 16:44Speaker 3: internalizes in our body, and in our body starts to really.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Feel that thing. So in us it'll break your body down.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Negative thinking break their body down, so will oh yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 3: so and you know where the leading and heart attack
- 17:05Speaker 3: strokes us black women we are. So if we learn
- 17:10Speaker 3: how to rethink about every situation or different situations, literally,
- 17:15Speaker 3: I think that that will teach us how to treat
- 17:18Speaker 3: ourselves better.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And in the book there is I like the final chapter.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I will say I like that one the best because
- 17:28Speaker 1: it says that at the end you are becoming you know,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and it goes through like it goes through step by
- 17:35Speaker 1: step structure, being consistent, the affirmations and all of those things.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And like close to the end of the book, there
- 17:45Speaker 1: is a section in there where you know, you write
- 17:50Speaker 1: down some things about where you currently are, What are
- 17:54Speaker 1: your present thoughts and how you can change those thoughts.
- 17:59Speaker 1: What are your present things that you think of yourself?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Where are some areas that you feel are your weakens?
- 18:04Speaker 1: What are your strong points? Then those are things in
- 18:07Speaker 1: that book that I think will get people to understand
- 18:11Speaker 1: that if I look at this, this is a written space,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I can go back and look and say, hey, these
- 18:17Speaker 1: are my beginning, and to write down five positive affirmations
- 18:23Speaker 1: to say those things to themselves the next ninety days,
- 18:28Speaker 1: And it's consistency and showing up and setting that time
- 18:32Speaker 1: and actually motivating themselves to hold themselves accountable. Number one
- 18:37Speaker 1: because not always looking for an accountability partner, because sometimes
- 18:42Speaker 1: we think that we have to have an accountability partner.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But if you can't even hold yourself accountable, what is
- 18:47Speaker 1: that accountability partner going to do? Because you're going to
- 18:50Speaker 1: them if you're ignoring yourself.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And that's exactly why I wrote the book, because we
- 18:57Speaker 3: have to be our own accountability partner. Yeah, not even
- 19:00Speaker 3: our own accountability partner. We have to hold ourselves accountable
- 19:04Speaker 3: for the thinking that we do. That prints us in
- 19:07Speaker 3: a space where we doubt ourselves, have those self esteem
- 19:12Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, those type of things. But
- 19:14Speaker 3: what I was going to say, from beginning to end
- 19:17Speaker 3: of that book, you should already have shifted, right, So
- 19:21Speaker 3: by the end of the book, you should already have
- 19:24Speaker 3: a shifted mindset of how you used to think when
- 19:28Speaker 3: you first started reading the book to the end, and
- 19:32Speaker 3: now you can write down all of your new perspectives
- 19:36Speaker 3: of how you think about yourself now, or how you
- 19:39Speaker 3: think about how you can you know, if you want
- 19:42Speaker 3: to start a business, start a business if.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You want to.
- 19:45Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, it should be shifted by
- 19:48Speaker 3: the end of that book. And then the reason why
- 19:50Speaker 3: that it's there is because now you can see who
- 19:53Speaker 3: you really are, who you have you, who you have become.
- 19:56Speaker 3: That's why the last chapter is who you are, because
- 19:59Speaker 3: you becoming, Yes, who you're becoming.
- 20:02Speaker 2: So yeah, so that's.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Why, Yeah, I love it. I'm excited to be a
- 20:09Speaker 1: part of the I am becoming event to come and speak.
- 20:14Speaker 1: You know when you first asked me, I said no.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I was like, no, I don't.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I don't do no speaking. I don't do none of that.
- 20:22Speaker 1: And then it was like God was like you speak
- 20:26Speaker 1: all the time. I don't know what you think you
- 20:28Speaker 1: talk about, because you do. You talk about you talk
- 20:32Speaker 1: about everything, and you motivate people in ways that you
- 20:35Speaker 1: don't even understand that you're motivating people and is what
- 20:40Speaker 1: you need to be doing. And also it's ironic, and
- 20:44Speaker 1: I ain't gonna say it's ironic. It's just God's coincident.
- 20:48Speaker 1: He's putting things together. Because I was telling you I
- 20:52Speaker 1: had created a coloring book and the book is Breaking
- 20:56Speaker 1: out of the Cocoon, Becoming and that's the that's a
- 21:01Speaker 1: coloring book. And when you told me about this event
- 21:05Speaker 1: and it was mentioned that the Esther Awards, and I
- 21:08Speaker 1: was like okay, And I'm like, okay, God, I don't
- 21:12Speaker 1: know what you're trying to do, but I see what
- 21:13Speaker 1: you're trying to do. And I'm still trying to stay
- 21:15Speaker 1: in the background, and you like you ain't got no
- 21:18Speaker 1: business being you need to come to step in the front.
- 21:21Speaker 2: And even at the Estra Awards, we ain't know each other,
- 21:23Speaker 2: ain't no about you, ain't no, ain't know nothing about nothing. Right,
- 21:26Speaker 2: we don't know that.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Listen, you know what's crazy about that? I got a
- 21:31Speaker 1: picture of both of us like standing up there getting
- 21:33Speaker 1: our awards. We're standing right beside each other, like, yes,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna send it to you tonight, like.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that. I did not know that at all.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I was looking at the pictures from the event the
- 21:50Speaker 1: other night in my phone and I meant to send
- 21:52Speaker 1: it to you, and I completely forgot because you know,
- 21:55Speaker 1: I told you I've been under the weather the last
- 21:57Speaker 1: couple of days. Pictures. I was like, we're standing beside
- 22:04Speaker 1: each other because you have on that that jumper the.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Like yeah, it's her right there, yep.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And you know what, you hugged me. You hugged me
- 22:18Speaker 1: when we came up. I forgot what your word it was.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I can't remember which one it was. You hugged me
- 22:26Speaker 1: and said congratulations.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That's me.
- 22:29Speaker 3: That's that's the type of person I am. I want
- 22:31Speaker 3: to congratulate everybody. So I went down to mind hugging
- 22:35Speaker 3: everybody like like.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You know, and I'm the shortest one there, so it's
- 22:40Speaker 1: like I'm just you know, blending in, you know, and everything,
- 22:44Speaker 1: and I'm like okay, So but PROBABLY was like like
- 22:53Speaker 1: because I'm not like I'm a hugger, but I'm not
- 22:55Speaker 1: a hugger, you know, at the same time, especially when
- 22:58Speaker 1: it catches me off guard and I'm like, a minute,
- 23:00Speaker 1: we wasn't hunting a minute ago, Like we don't been
- 23:02Speaker 1: up here twice. Ain't nobody hugged then? Like so now
- 23:06Speaker 1: we're geting out hugged. Okay. So I'm like hugging after that,
- 23:10Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, So it's a picture. We're standing
- 23:14Speaker 1: beside each other, and I have to send it to you.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So this is this is how God works. He put
- 23:21Speaker 1: us together for a purpose. And so I'm like I
- 23:26Speaker 1: thought about it, and I was like, she asked me,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and God I said no, and he's like, I don't care.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Wait wait wait. I had to pour into YouTube.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I had a poor into YouTube because I had to
- 23:37Speaker 3: say to you no, because this is your journey too,
- 23:40Speaker 3: this is what.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You're supposed to be doing. You have a you have
- 23:43Speaker 2: a story.
- 23:44Speaker 3: We all have a story, but your story is so
- 23:47Speaker 3: inspiring that I had to tell you like you're sitting
- 23:50Speaker 3: on it if you're gonna sit on.
- 23:52Speaker 1: It, Like, but i't have nobody sitting on.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Your story, like you gotta you gotta tell your story, man.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And that's literally.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I share it all the time. It's just that speaking
- 24:06Speaker 1: in public is different, and you know, it's like, right now,
- 24:10Speaker 1: we're doing this podcast. I've been doing this now almost
- 24:13Speaker 1: four years, and it's like it's crazy because I never
- 24:16Speaker 1: imagine myself doing this at all. And people when they
- 24:22Speaker 1: meet me, they're like, there's absolutely no way that you're shy.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I cannot picture you being shy at all, because of
- 24:29Speaker 1: how well you talk, how well you communicate, how well
- 24:33Speaker 1: you share your story, Like you cannot possibly meet a
- 24:38Speaker 1: stranger anywhere because you are so enthusiastic, you share, you talk,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you do this and I'm like, yeah, I'm shy, and
- 24:46Speaker 1: they're like, yeah, tell it to somebody else, because I
- 24:49Speaker 1: don't see it. I don't understand what you're saying. I
- 24:51Speaker 1: think you're trying to pull my leg. And I'm like, no, literally,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I am very shy. I don't do this. And so
- 24:57Speaker 1: that's what it was. And so even when we were
- 25:00Speaker 1: having that conversation, when I was telling you no, God
- 25:02Speaker 1: was already on my shoulder and was like, I don't
- 25:05Speaker 1: know why you told her no. You're going to do that.
- 25:09Speaker 1: So you can say no now, but you're going to
- 25:13Speaker 1: do that because it is your time to do that,
- 25:18Speaker 1: you know. But my dad is on here. He's like,
- 25:20Speaker 1: she really is shod, Like I really am shy, Like
- 25:24Speaker 1: I like, I'm not that person. But you know, I've
- 25:30Speaker 1: sung on the choir, domb solos and things of that nature.
- 25:33Speaker 1: But it's like I'd rather be in the background to
- 25:36Speaker 1: motivate everybody else. But as for me, it's like, like
- 25:41Speaker 1: I don't celebrate my myself, Like I struggle with that.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I struggle a lot with celebrating myself. Like I was
- 25:49Speaker 1: going through some boxes the other day, and I still
- 25:54Speaker 1: have awards that I have not in frames or anything.
- 25:57Speaker 1: And my oldest son used to fuss with me alone
- 26:00Speaker 1: because he was like, ma, put your awards up on
- 26:05Speaker 1: your on the waters awards look mon, Like I got
- 26:11Speaker 1: some back here on this wall. You can't see because
- 26:13Speaker 1: I got my background up. I just got and then
- 26:17Speaker 1: like in the hallway there up. But before, like he
- 26:21Speaker 1: would fuss it me all the time, like I would
- 26:24Speaker 1: buy the frames and I would do all of that,
- 26:26Speaker 1: and he's like, okay, you are doing all of these things, mom,
- 26:31Speaker 1: show off, show them. So then one day I was like, okay,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I had gotten some awards from work and everything and
- 26:41Speaker 1: gotten gifts and monetary gifts from being employee of the
- 26:45Speaker 1: month and all of this stuff, and he was like,
- 26:47Speaker 1: you need to show this stuff up. And he came
- 26:51Speaker 1: home from work one day and then as you came
- 26:55Speaker 1: in my bedroom in the old apartment we used to
- 26:57Speaker 1: live in, I had put them all in my hall
- 27:00Speaker 1: way on the wall, and he was like, it's about time.
- 27:06Speaker 2: But even doing that.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Like even you getting your awards and stuff like that,
- 27:09Speaker 3: Like so like I am in it. I believe all
- 27:15Speaker 3: facets of us getting awards, whatever the case may be,
- 27:19Speaker 3: getting recognized, being able to the father gets the glory
- 27:23Speaker 3: for all of that because he he's he put in
- 27:27Speaker 3: us what we have, or he has gained us the
- 27:30Speaker 3: story so we can tell it so other people can
- 27:34Speaker 3: be blessed. So that's what comes with it, right, Yeah,
- 27:38Speaker 3: podcast that you know I'm doing, or you know, being
- 27:42Speaker 3: able to go and do the book signing, or you know,
- 27:45Speaker 3: get on the stage and speaking, having these events. You know,
- 27:49Speaker 3: those things are like I told him, I told him
- 27:52Speaker 3: personally listening wherever you send me, I'm gonna go and
- 27:56Speaker 3: whatever you have me to say, I'm gonna say it.
- 27:59Speaker 2: So, oh, yes, he's.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Blessing me with that, and that's why he blessed you
- 28:03Speaker 3: with the opportunity to get up and be able to
- 28:06Speaker 3: do that.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And rather than I'm an introvert, I'm a real bad, bad,
- 28:10Speaker 2: bad introvert. Like I'm introvert, Like.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I don't go nowhere, I don't have a whole bunch
- 28:16Speaker 3: of friends.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I don't.
- 28:18Speaker 3: But it's a different story when I know that I
- 28:21Speaker 3: have an assignment for the Father, Like I can't that shyness,
- 28:25Speaker 3: all that me being an introvert, all that stuff, Yeah,
- 28:27Speaker 3: that has to go out the door when it comes
- 28:29Speaker 3: to the five.
- 28:30Speaker 1: And so yeah, now that is very, very true. And
- 28:33Speaker 1: that's the thing. You know, prayer is a powerful thing,
- 28:36Speaker 1: and this is the thing, and I this is my prayer.
- 28:40Speaker 1: This was my prayer at the end of twenty nineteen
- 28:42Speaker 1: going into twenty twenty. And I tell everybody this, this
- 28:46Speaker 1: was my prayer, and it was God, remove anybody that
- 28:49Speaker 1: is not connected to the destiny and what you have
- 28:51Speaker 1: for me, and prepare me for those who are connected
- 28:55Speaker 1: to the destiny that you have for me, and help
- 28:58Speaker 1: me to be okay with those that you remember, and
- 29:01Speaker 1: helped me to step into the spaces where I'm supposed
- 29:05Speaker 1: to be. Now with that being said, I had no
- 29:10Speaker 1: idea this book was coming the first one. I had
- 29:13Speaker 1: no idea that all of the other things were gonna happen. Now,
- 29:19Speaker 1: I had graduated from college in twenty seventeen. We didn't
- 29:23Speaker 1: actually have the ceremony until twenty eighteen. However, I was
- 29:27Speaker 1: taking the public speaking class. I did not understand why
- 29:30Speaker 1: I was taking the public speaking class because it's like, yeah,
- 29:34Speaker 1: so God was already putting the puzzle pieces together. I
- 29:37Speaker 1: just needed to be obedient and do what he told
- 29:39Speaker 1: me to do. And so I've been obedient, and so
- 29:42Speaker 1: then it was like, Okay. I ended up losing my
- 29:46Speaker 1: job in March of twenty twenty one, and he has
- 29:55Speaker 1: showed me a vision that I was going to have
- 29:57Speaker 1: to travel and go and speak. And I'm in the
- 30:00Speaker 1: house on Saturday cleaning, doing my normal little cleaning and everything,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and I'm not thinking anything about it because the vision
- 30:07Speaker 1: that he sent me, I'm like, I'm gonna be traveling
- 30:10Speaker 1: and going to speak. And I'm like, Okay, God, I
- 30:12Speaker 1: think you delivered that message to the wrong house. It's
- 30:14Speaker 1: not that's not what I do. And so you know,
- 30:18Speaker 1: I'm we tell him, yeah, and I'm like, I don't,
- 30:23Speaker 1: I don't think that's for me. I think you delivered
- 30:25Speaker 1: this message to the wrong house. So I kept on
- 30:28Speaker 1: doing what I'm doing. I'm not really paying it no attention,
- 30:31Speaker 1: so our mentor Miss Angela was doing her book release
- 30:36Speaker 1: that I was actually a part of. It was a
- 30:38Speaker 1: collaboration book Mended Broken but not Broken and Mended or
- 30:44Speaker 1: I think that's the title of the book. I can't remember.
- 30:47Speaker 1: But she was doing that, and she was doing a
- 30:49Speaker 1: fashion show in celebration of her birthday and it was
- 30:53Speaker 1: in Myrtle Beach, so I was gonna have to travel
- 30:57Speaker 1: to get there. So I'm like, okay, all right, and
- 31:02Speaker 1: I'm not thinking I'm gonna have to say anything or
- 31:05Speaker 1: speak or anything like that. But of course I have
- 31:07Speaker 1: to say something about my particular chapter in this book. Now,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I didn't say very much because I wasn't prepared to
- 31:16Speaker 1: say anything, but nobody knew that, you know, of course.
- 31:20Speaker 1: And so I met some wonderful people. Miss Stephanie. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: met her there and we've been, you know, friends ever since,
- 31:30Speaker 1: and so it's like, okay, God, You've connected me to
- 31:34Speaker 1: these people, and you keep connecting me in these spaces.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And then like ma'am miss Angela, we met not only
- 31:43Speaker 1: like we met before that doing a virtual monologue together,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and I wanted to say no to that, but it
- 31:54Speaker 1: was like, Okay, God says, step out of your comfort zone.
- 31:57Speaker 1: And so I was slowly stepping out of my comfort zone.
- 32:00Speaker 1: And so that's what led to all of this. And
- 32:05Speaker 1: so when she was putting together a podcast network, it
- 32:09Speaker 1: was like, okay, well what are you looking for and
- 32:12Speaker 1: are you training people and everything that. She was like yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 1: So I said, okay, well I'll give it a shot.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I don't necessarily know what I'm doing, but we'll see.
- 32:23Speaker 1: And the beautiful thing about that is today I'm gonna
- 32:27Speaker 1: try to keep my composure when I say this. We
- 32:31Speaker 1: allowed my mom to be an honorary host for the
- 32:38Speaker 1: Crew podcast today. It's been three years and she did
- 32:44Speaker 1: that show tonight. So it's been a sweet.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But it's sweet.
- 32:55Speaker 3: It's sweet because the look, look where you are, look
- 32:59Speaker 3: what you're doing, and look what he's he's pushing me
- 33:02Speaker 3: up to. Yes, so it is it's bittersweet.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's very bittersweet. She was there at the beginning when
- 33:13Speaker 1: we were just training to do the podcast, and my
- 33:17Speaker 1: mom she was like, she did the prayer and my
- 33:23Speaker 1: mom being who she is. It was like she never
- 33:28Speaker 1: thought she lived to see long enough for me to
- 33:30Speaker 1: have friends and interact with other people, because as you know,
- 33:34Speaker 1: like I'm very shy and i don't really have a
- 33:37Speaker 1: lot of friends, and I'm not that person. And so
- 33:43Speaker 1: she became part of our podcast, and so she was
- 33:48Speaker 1: able to be our host, and she hosted a show
- 33:52Speaker 1: a year ago of three years ago tonight. So it's.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Honey, let me tell you.
- 34:04Speaker 3: She looking out and she is proud. She's very proud
- 34:07Speaker 3: of you, and we're saying, I can't wait until you
- 34:12Speaker 3: get to I am be coming. Listen we get to
- 34:15Speaker 3: that lunch in because I'm gonna tell you something by me,
- 34:20Speaker 3: I'm a worshiper. So we say in the atmosphere before
- 34:24Speaker 3: the people get in there, we're gonna set the atmosphere
- 34:26Speaker 3: when they get in there, and we're gonna set the
- 34:29Speaker 3: atmosphere why they're leaving out of them, you know.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, we worshiping, we praying, we're praising.
- 34:35Speaker 3: That's that's what we're gonna do. I don't know what
- 34:37Speaker 3: they think they're gonna do when they get there. I'm
- 34:41Speaker 3: just being real, Like I tell everybody, that's what we're doing.
- 34:44Speaker 3: When we get there, he gonna get out the glory
- 34:48Speaker 3: and I'm worshiping the whole entire time.
- 34:50Speaker 1: So you know, without him we are nothing. With him,
- 34:55Speaker 1: we are everything. And as long as to be obedient
- 34:59Speaker 1: to what he calls us to do, you know, we're
- 35:02Speaker 1: always going to be in greatness and we're going to
- 35:07Speaker 1: mingle with greatness because he doesn't put us in the
- 35:10Speaker 1: path of anything outside of that. We're the ones who
- 35:14Speaker 1: get off course. We think that we won't where that
- 35:18Speaker 1: GPS is taking us. But God is coming at GPS.
- 35:23Speaker 1: His path is always right. He's never going to go
- 35:26Speaker 1: off course. We are the ones that get hard headed
- 35:29Speaker 1: and be like, well I think I can do this
- 35:31Speaker 1: a little better and a little faster, and he's he
- 35:34Speaker 1: sits there, he lets us go, and he'd be like, Okay,
- 35:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you go on over there and try.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I'll be right here when you get back, because I
- 35:46Speaker 1: know what you I know better than you think I do,
- 35:49Speaker 1: you know, And so that's why it's always that re routing.
- 35:53Speaker 1: God said, I know I'm gonna reroute you back where
- 35:56Speaker 1: I told you to go, so don't be trying to
- 35:58Speaker 1: get our Of course, you thought you knew something, but
- 36:01Speaker 1: I know better. Trust me, and I promise you you
- 36:05Speaker 1: never gonna be of course. But if you think you
- 36:08Speaker 1: know better, you're gonna be of course. But you know,
- 36:12Speaker 1: I am grateful for the people that He has connected
- 36:16Speaker 1: me with. And since I've been doing all of this,
- 36:20Speaker 1: it's never by coincidence. It's always by God's design. He
- 36:25Speaker 1: always sends the confirmation with each and every guests at
- 36:28Speaker 1: the time that it is that you know I am
- 36:32Speaker 1: going through whatever it may be. And you know, I
- 36:37Speaker 1: was thinking about the I Am becoming event and thinking
- 36:41Speaker 1: about the book and your book and then the color
- 36:45Speaker 1: and book and everything, and I was like, you know,
- 36:49Speaker 1: I had no idea. All I was doing was just
- 36:52Speaker 1: being obedient and it's just a coloring book that I
- 36:55Speaker 1: put together, and in that color and book, it just
- 36:57Speaker 1: has some affirmation in there and in that and I'm like,
- 37:05Speaker 1: you put me in her together for this purpose, and
- 37:10Speaker 1: I just want to make sure that I'm doing what
- 37:12Speaker 1: you have called me to do. And if I know
- 37:17Speaker 1: nothing else, I know what God is capable of doing,
- 37:20Speaker 1: because I know what He's done for me, not once,
- 37:23Speaker 1: but twice in old multiple times, because man has counted
- 37:27Speaker 1: me out four times, and he's ever counted me in.
- 37:30Speaker 1: And I've never been included in man's count. I've always
- 37:33Speaker 1: been included in God's count. And until the day he
- 37:36Speaker 1: decides to count me out, I can't do nothing about
- 37:39Speaker 1: that because for me, so I don't worry about what
- 37:44Speaker 1: man says. I worry about what God says. And you know,
- 37:47Speaker 1: when I first wrote that book, my poetry book, I
- 37:50Speaker 1: have people talking about it, well, it doesn't look good,
- 37:53Speaker 1: it's not perfect, And my response was always it wasn't
- 37:56Speaker 1: your assignment. You will never put your name on an
- 37:59Speaker 1: assignment that doesn't belong to you. You'll only put your
- 38:01Speaker 1: name on the assignment that God has given you. And
- 38:04Speaker 1: he didn't tell you to put your name on my stuff,
- 38:07Speaker 1: So I wouldn't expect you to have your name on
- 38:09Speaker 1: my book because he didn't assign it to you. So
- 38:11Speaker 1: if you didn't assign it to you, what you're gonna
- 38:13Speaker 1: put your name on.
- 38:13Speaker 2: The fluff right right?
- 38:15Speaker 1: And that like that was crazy because I had a
- 38:19Speaker 1: situation when I was a little girl. I was in
- 38:21Speaker 1: second grade and I ended up getting a whooping for this,
- 38:25Speaker 1: and it was crazy because I would go home every
- 38:27Speaker 1: day and I would do my homework because you know,
- 38:30Speaker 1: back then, you had to do your homework, had to
- 38:32Speaker 1: change out of your school clothes before you could go
- 38:34Speaker 1: outside and play and everything. So I'm was sitting there
- 38:37Speaker 1: the table doing my homework and everything. And so I'm
- 38:41Speaker 1: doing my homework and I'm taking it to school the
- 38:43Speaker 1: next day, turning it in to the teacher, and for
- 38:48Speaker 1: some reason, for two weeks the teacher is saying that
- 38:52Speaker 1: I'm not turning in my homework, and so I ended
- 38:55Speaker 1: up getting a whooping for it. And so another week
- 38:58Speaker 1: goes by, the teacher ends up catching a student who
- 39:02Speaker 1: have been going in when when I would put my
- 39:05Speaker 1: homework in the homework little uh tray, and then I
- 39:10Speaker 1: would go to the cafeteria in the mornings to eat
- 39:12Speaker 1: breakfast because I rode the bus and so we would
- 39:15Speaker 1: get there early, and he was a car rid so
- 39:19Speaker 1: he would get there shortly after we did, and so
- 39:21Speaker 1: he would go in take erase my name and put
- 39:25Speaker 1: his name on it. And so the teacher happened to
- 39:28Speaker 1: catch him. So I ended up getting a whooping for that.
- 39:33Speaker 1: And so my aunt, she was like the teacher called,
- 39:37Speaker 1: she was like, I'm so sorry. She apologized to me
- 39:40Speaker 1: because I had told her, I'm doing my homework like
- 39:44Speaker 1: you caused me to get in trouble, and I got
- 39:46Speaker 1: a whooping and she was like, well, I'm sorry. I said, well,
- 39:50Speaker 1: you can't take that whooping back. I mean, I appreciate
- 39:54Speaker 1: the apology, but you can't take that back like you know.
- 39:58Speaker 1: And so she called and when I got home, my
- 40:00Speaker 1: aunt she apologized to me. I said, but you can't
- 40:03Speaker 1: take it back, I said, I told you the truth,
- 40:06Speaker 1: I said, but somebody else was putting their name on
- 40:10Speaker 1: my assignment, and God righted the wrong.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 40:14Speaker 1: And that's how I know that anytime somebody wants to
- 40:19Speaker 1: tell a falsehood on you, all you have to do
- 40:22Speaker 1: is stand in your truth because God is always going
- 40:25Speaker 1: to reveal. So anytime you think that you got to
- 40:28Speaker 1: defend yourself against a lot, shut up and be still
- 40:32Speaker 1: and let God fight that battle because God always knows
- 40:36Speaker 1: what that truth is. And people get, well, I didn't
- 40:40Speaker 1: do it.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Okay, that's fine. You ain't got to do all of
- 40:43Speaker 1: that because your truth is your truth and it never changes.
- 40:46Speaker 1: It it' long a waiver. So if you ain't got
- 40:49Speaker 1: to worry about that, and you know that you didn't
- 40:51Speaker 1: do something, you didn't say something or anything like that,
- 40:54Speaker 1: didn't stand on it. Because God is gonna stand ten
- 40:57Speaker 1: toes down behind you because he knows that. And if
- 41:00Speaker 1: you know who you are, you are okay. You ain't
- 41:03Speaker 1: got to worry about none of that extra stuff. So
- 41:07Speaker 1: I'm excited for this event May the sixteenth. Yeah, I
- 41:13Speaker 1: don't have to come.
- 41:13Speaker 2: To my event.
- 41:15Speaker 3: September twelfth is called becoming Her summit. You have to
- 41:18Speaker 3: come to that, Okay, Okay, September twelfth, you gotta come
- 41:22Speaker 3: to that. I know, I know, I know, I know,
- 41:24Speaker 3: but you gotta come to that. And you also have
- 41:27Speaker 3: to speak. But it's gonna be like a panel. We're
- 41:29Speaker 3: gonna be sitting down. You ain't gonna have to do
- 41:32Speaker 3: all that standing up in front of people. It's gonna
- 41:34Speaker 3: be a panel. But I think, well, I think you'll
- 41:37Speaker 3: be good for that. So yeah, I'm announcing that now here.
- 41:40Speaker 1: From so I've been voluntarid to show up. Basically, yeah, yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 1: pretty much, pretty much.
- 41:48Speaker 2: This is a good space. It's a good space of time.
- 41:50Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's all right, all right, I understand,
- 41:56Speaker 1: I understand. What can people expect at this event on
- 42:01Speaker 1: May the sixteenth worship.
- 42:07Speaker 3: Besides vendors, we're gonna have some vendors in the house.
- 42:13Speaker 2: The speakers are amazing.
- 42:16Speaker 3: You included, but I think I think you make the seventh,
- 42:20Speaker 3: so it's gonna be seven speakers there. Like I said,
- 42:24Speaker 3: I mean, we have some awesome vendors. So far, I'm
- 42:27Speaker 3: still looking for vendors, but right now we have some awesome, awesome,
- 42:32Speaker 3: awesome vendors. And like I said, just everything about me
- 42:37Speaker 3: in that space is going to be about worshiping the
- 42:40Speaker 3: Father because he got me here to where I am now,
- 42:44Speaker 3: right And so I feel like everywhere I go, every
- 42:48Speaker 3: person I speak to, I have to tell people about
- 42:51Speaker 3: who what he has done for me and who he
- 42:53Speaker 3: is in my life. And so that's what I'm gonna do.
- 42:56Speaker 3: But I mean, we're we're going to be pouring into
- 43:00Speaker 3: the women that come. You know what I'm saying That
- 43:02Speaker 3: coming in, you don't know what a woman has on
- 43:05Speaker 3: her heart, You don't know what she's been going.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Through, you don't know what she's been dealing with.
- 43:09Speaker 3: And so I think that we have to show up
- 43:12Speaker 3: in a capacity with me anyway, I don't have no
- 43:14Speaker 3: title I'm not I.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Don't have a title.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I'm not a pastor, I'm not a preacher, I'm not
- 43:18Speaker 3: a minister, I'm not none of that. I am just
- 43:20Speaker 3: called to do what I'm supposed to do, and I'm
- 43:23Speaker 3: stepping into that. So that's what I'm going to do.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I'm going to step into that there at that time.
- 43:29Speaker 3: So you're gonna just suspect the move of the father.
- 43:33Speaker 3: That's what all I can tell you because I'm gonna.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Let him have his way. But yeah, we got vendors
- 43:38Speaker 2: we have.
- 43:39Speaker 3: We're gonna be having a fashions show, and I think
- 43:43Speaker 3: the fashion show is gonna be good. I'm trying to
- 43:46Speaker 3: get some this group to dance. I mean, it's going
- 43:53Speaker 3: to be good.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Book signing and yes, I'm so sorry, I'm sorry.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes I want to be having
- 44:02Speaker 3: my guess my book.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Signing will be there that day.
- 44:06Speaker 3: That's the day my book drops May sixteenth, So yes,
- 44:10Speaker 3: I'll be having a book signing.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I'm so so excited about that.
- 44:15Speaker 3: I don't even know what like I'm I'm listen, let
- 44:18Speaker 3: me tell you. I feel to tell you something true
- 44:20Speaker 3: thing you you ain't even heard this, So this is
- 44:22Speaker 3: something new girl.
- 44:23Speaker 2: I was on YouTube.
- 44:25Speaker 3: I was looking at people having book side this like
- 44:28Speaker 3: I don't even know, don't tell you, I'm not playing like.
- 44:31Speaker 2: I was like, so like, how do let me look
- 44:34Speaker 2: and see what this? What this looks like?
- 44:36Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like what this is like
- 44:38Speaker 3: me dropping my book? And I don't know if I
- 44:41Speaker 3: yeah that was you today? I was like, what do
- 44:44Speaker 3: I do? Like do I do anything to promote the book?
- 44:47Speaker 3: Is the book signed? I don't know what to dude,
- 44:49Speaker 3: like you know, yeah, So I'm like, I just I
- 44:53Speaker 3: don't know. I'm just so excited about this. I'm not
- 44:56Speaker 3: playing like I feel like, let me tell you something
- 44:59Speaker 3: real quick.
- 45:01Speaker 2: H And I hope I don't cry. I'm trying not.
- 45:04Speaker 1: To you, Okay, but it's here, so.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Being told your adolescence life, you are never gonna be nothing.
- 45:17Speaker 3: You're not gonna never be able to accomplish nothing. You're
- 45:19Speaker 3: not gonna do this, You're not gonna do.
- 45:21Speaker 2: That, You're gonna be just like yo, you know what
- 45:23Speaker 2: I'm saying, Like you know what I'm saying. Hearing that right,
- 45:26Speaker 2: That's what.
- 45:29Speaker 3: Was instilled in me and literally no lie a year
- 45:32Speaker 3: about a year and a half ago. The father woke
- 45:35Speaker 3: me up out my sleep at like three o'clock in
- 45:37Speaker 3: the morning and he was like, oh, you have a
- 45:39Speaker 3: book in and you need to write it. And it's
- 45:41Speaker 3: not no, no, no, I'm not talking about an auto biography.
- 45:45Speaker 3: I want you to be able to use the things.
- 45:48Speaker 3: And this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna put
- 45:49Speaker 3: you through a transition. And literally that's what he did.
- 45:52Speaker 3: He started training me to wake up at a certain time.
- 45:55Speaker 3: He started training me to do things you know, you know,
- 45:59Speaker 3: I mean literally precisely at certain.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Times of the day. Right.
- 46:04Speaker 3: I have a like I have I have I have
- 46:07Speaker 3: postals through my house that has like schedules. You know
- 46:11Speaker 3: what I'm saying, Like, no, lie, so like so he said,
- 46:15Speaker 3: you're gonna have to do it like that. So what
- 46:18Speaker 3: he did was he started to pour that into me
- 46:20Speaker 3: like a year and a half ago. Remember I told
- 46:22Speaker 3: you it took me five months to write that book. So
- 46:25Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, so I'm gonna put I'm gonna put
- 46:28Speaker 3: this in it, Anda put that in it. And this
- 46:30Speaker 3: is how I did this, and this is how I
- 46:31Speaker 3: did this. And I'm like, you suldn't want me to
- 46:33Speaker 3: teach you know, how did I get And I talk
- 46:35Speaker 3: fast and you sure.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I'm like, Moses, ain't gonna lie.
- 46:38Speaker 3: I'm like you sure, like you shore this dude, And
- 46:41Speaker 3: he like yes, And so my purpose I feel. I
- 46:46Speaker 3: feel so much like I'm getting to that point. He
- 46:51Speaker 3: is pushing me into that right now, and I'm so
- 46:55Speaker 3: happy that he chose me, right, I'm so happy that
- 46:59Speaker 3: he chose me for this journey, for this for this moment,
- 47:06Speaker 3: for this time. And that's why I'm so excited about
- 47:09Speaker 3: this book started, because I'm just scared for the life
- 47:12Speaker 3: of me. When i get this book in my hand, Honey.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I'm calling you go to be like, got it girl.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna be yelling cause it's just so beautiful to
- 47:25Speaker 3: be the first author in my family, to be the
- 47:28Speaker 3: first person to own two businesses in my family, to
- 47:32Speaker 3: be able to do the things that I'm doing, having events,
- 47:36Speaker 3: writing the book, starting businesses. It's just having a women's group,
- 47:41Speaker 3: like all of the things that I've dreamed of.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:44Speaker 3: It doesn't have to cover money, it don't have to
- 47:46Speaker 3: be you don't have to be a millionaire to be
- 47:49Speaker 3: able to.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Go the vision. He will provide the provisions. That's what
- 47:54Speaker 1: people don't understand. If God gives you that vision, he's
- 47:57Speaker 1: going to put you in the spaces where he makes them.
- 48:00Speaker 1: They're your reality and you just have to trust him
- 48:03Speaker 1: and you have to trust the process. And that is
- 48:06Speaker 1: why I'm grateful for whenever a client comes to me,
- 48:11Speaker 1: you're not a client, you're my family, because that's how
- 48:14Speaker 1: it ends up being, because we're connected because of his purpose.
- 48:19Speaker 2: And go ahead.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Yes, I mean you do, and I don't mind,
- 48:35Speaker 1: you know, because it is it's the relationship, you know,
- 48:41Speaker 1: Because I want to be able for whoever comes to
- 48:46Speaker 1: me to fulfill their vision of completing and becoming a
- 48:50Speaker 1: published author. I want them to understand that I'm not
- 48:54Speaker 1: just going a publisher are a consultant who is just
- 48:58Speaker 1: going to just push you off and just like not
- 49:03Speaker 1: help you through it. And even once it's done and
- 49:06Speaker 1: completed and over that we're not talking no more. You know,
- 49:11Speaker 1: that's not how it is, and that's not how I
- 49:14Speaker 1: want it to be, you know, because I've heard those
- 49:17Speaker 1: horror stories of you know, going to these companies and
- 49:23Speaker 1: they feel like they're being they're a burden to their publisher,
- 49:29Speaker 1: like they can ask questions, they take days and weeks
- 49:33Speaker 1: to return a text or a call or something. I
- 49:37Speaker 1: don't want that. So if you're coming to me, you
- 49:39Speaker 1: get me and me you can call me y.
- 49:45Speaker 2: She's not lying, Y'all's.
- 49:48Speaker 1: If you email me and then you text me, and
- 49:51Speaker 1: then I'll be like and then you'll be like, well
- 49:52Speaker 1: I emailed you, Okay, Well which one did you do? Well,
- 49:54Speaker 1: don't worry about hold on you on the phone. We're
- 49:57Speaker 1: gonna go to the email while you're on the phone,
- 49:59Speaker 1: and I'm going to do that. You know, like you
- 50:01Speaker 1: don't what's you And then I'll be like, well, what's
- 50:03Speaker 1: your email? Did you send it to? First off? Because
- 50:06Speaker 1: I give you yeah, like I give you the business
- 50:11Speaker 1: email and then I give you a personal email, and
- 50:14Speaker 1: so you get all of my information. Because I want
- 50:17Speaker 1: you to be comfortable. I want you to understand that
- 50:21Speaker 1: you got me from start, and I ain't gonna say
- 50:24Speaker 1: to finish because it's never finished, because we're gonna do
- 50:27Speaker 1: something else, you know, I like, because it's this way, Yeah,
- 50:37Speaker 1: I say, it's never the end. This is just the beginning.
- 50:40Speaker 1: So we're gonna keep going until you say, okay, you
- 50:43Speaker 1: know what, I'm tired of you. I don't want to
- 50:44Speaker 1: be bothered with you whatever you know. So I'm just like,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I'm here until you tell me you don't you don't
- 50:53Speaker 1: need me no more. But even still, I'm gonna be
- 50:56Speaker 1: there because this is this is what I signed up for.
- 50:59Speaker 1: And when you to me, I want you to feel comfortable.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I want you to say, you know, if you got questions.
- 51:05Speaker 1: I don't want you to feel like, hey, I'm bothering
- 51:09Speaker 1: you out, girl.
- 51:11Speaker 2: What is it?
- 51:12Speaker 1: What you what you need you know, because I don't
- 51:18Speaker 1: want to feel like that. Like even like I just
- 51:22Speaker 1: did George, I just did another lady's also like she
- 51:26Speaker 1: came to me on I want to say, the twenty
- 51:31Speaker 1: ninth of last month, and no, she came to me
- 51:38Speaker 1: on the seventh of this month. She's finished, her book
- 51:44Speaker 1: is finished, and she's got it in her hand already. Yeah,
- 51:49Speaker 1: that's what's she got it in her hand on I don't.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Worry about the girl, because I'm for one of my
- 51:53Speaker 3: books now.
- 51:57Speaker 2: On last Friday.
- 52:00Speaker 1: Night, m m, well, whenever you ready to order, and
- 52:05Speaker 1: we were good. She finished and she text me what's today?
- 52:09Speaker 1: The days starts that She text me Tuesday and said,
- 52:13Speaker 1: I am holding my book in my hand. Oh goodness,
- 52:19Speaker 1: and I said, because she was like, I don't want
- 52:21Speaker 1: to tell nobody. Because she was like, I don't want
- 52:23Speaker 1: to tell anybody that I've done this, and I was like,
- 52:26Speaker 1: you know, I'm here with you. And because see she
- 52:30Speaker 1: said she had called another number, or she had been
- 52:34Speaker 1: on the internet, she had googled another publishing company they
- 52:39Speaker 1: didn't answer, or when she called my number and I answered,
- 52:43Speaker 1: she hesitated for minutes. She was like, weeds a transformation.
- 52:47Speaker 1: I said, yes, ma'am. She said, you do book book publishing.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I said, yes, ma'am.
- 52:52Speaker 1: She said, I was reading the reviews on your website,
- 52:55Speaker 1: and you the person that I need. I said, okay.
- 52:59Speaker 1: I said, well, tell me what you got, tell me
- 53:02Speaker 1: how I can help, and we'll get started. I said,
- 53:06Speaker 1: And I will be honest with you. I charge a
- 53:08Speaker 1: fifty dollars non refundable. The people will tell me that
- 53:11Speaker 1: they're serious about something that they don't be serious. I said,
- 53:14Speaker 1: I waste your time, and I don't want you to
- 53:16Speaker 1: waste smile. I said, but if you guys you need
- 53:18Speaker 1: me to take a look at I'm willing to take
- 53:20Speaker 1: a look at it for free. But if you really
- 53:22Speaker 1: want to move forward, once you send the deposit, we
- 53:25Speaker 1: can move forward. And that's what we did.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Because that's what I did. I was like, Boom, what's
- 53:33Speaker 2: you said? How much what you was time to do? Boom?
- 53:37Speaker 1: Next day you was like, I need this, I need this.
- 53:39Speaker 2: Boom the way that listen because I know what I
- 53:45Speaker 2: need to do. And I'm I'm told you all.
- 53:47Speaker 3: By the execution, I'll be playing like that's something I'm
- 53:50Speaker 3: telling you all.
- 53:51Speaker 2: I'm not playing about it.
- 53:51Speaker 3: If you have some goals in your life, write them down,
- 53:55Speaker 3: make them play and knock them down. Because I'm telling
- 53:59Speaker 3: you you. All you gotta do is put it in
- 54:01Speaker 3: your my age secutor. I'm telling you because that's why
- 54:04Speaker 3: I am. I'm gonna do it every time.
- 54:07Speaker 1: The other d D says. She says she knows the
- 54:10Speaker 1: feeling torevida will get you through. She is a witness.
- 54:13Speaker 1: She really doesn't mind it at all. I text her
- 54:16Speaker 1: on the regular. That's my sister for life. You know.
- 54:19Speaker 3: I like.
- 54:22Speaker 1: To be comfortable with me. You know, we're gonna laugh
- 54:25Speaker 1: and we're gonna joke, we're gonna talk, and I'm gonna
- 54:28Speaker 1: be real with you too. I ain't gonna you know,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and I feel like, if we're gonna be sisters, we're
- 54:35Speaker 1: gonna be up front, We're gonna be honest, and I'm
- 54:37Speaker 1: gonna tell you the truth. And if you don't want
- 54:40Speaker 1: to hear the real, uncomet truth, then we ain't gonna
- 54:42Speaker 1: be able to talk.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Yeah, we do together because that's what we both do exactly.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Now, tell the Tell everybody how they can get in
- 54:54Speaker 1: touch with you for the events that you got coming up,
- 54:57Speaker 1: because not one coming up on Saturday.
- 54:59Speaker 2: That see.
- 55:00Speaker 3: I'm in Columbia, South Carolina, and my event is called
- 55:05Speaker 3: the CEO Networking Event, and it's free to the public
- 55:10Speaker 3: and it's basically vendors getting out and they're selling their
- 55:14Speaker 3: products and we're coming in and y'all coming in or
- 55:18Speaker 3: or whatever the case may be. Y'all, are you know,
- 55:20Speaker 3: being able to see different vendors. I think I have
