- 0:04Speaker 1: one Wash at them.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Thank you for starting your Wednesday with us. It's Toby
- 0:07Speaker 2: and Chile in the Morning, ninety seven point one, wash
- 0:10Speaker 2: at them.
- 0:10Speaker 3: I'm kidd O'Shea. How are you doing? I'm okay, chilieh
- 0:13Speaker 3: you know, hanging in. It's at least Wednesday, and I
- 0:16Speaker 3: didn't work Monday, so how can they be that bad?
- 0:18Speaker 3: How about you? I'm doing well. I do have a question, though.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Do you live in a place that has keys for
- 0:25Speaker 4: your door or is it like a code.
- 0:27Speaker 2: We have moved completely keyless in our building. It's a
- 0:30Speaker 2: code to get in everywhere.
- 0:32Speaker 3: So no keys anymore, no fob, no nothing. I love it.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Why do you ask?
- 0:35Speaker 4: Because yesterday we live in a single family home and
- 0:39Speaker 4: we have not transitioned our doors to keyless entry. It's
- 0:43Speaker 4: still good old fashioned.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah. And my husband accidentally locked himself oh, while I
- 0:49Speaker 3: was still at work.
- 0:50Speaker 4: He was taking our son to the bus stop and
- 0:52Speaker 4: he walked out and he realized he didn't bring any
- 0:55Speaker 4: keys with him.
- 0:56Speaker 3: But we have a key box. I was gonna say,
- 0:58Speaker 3: what's the backup system? A box in the rock?
- 1:02Speaker 4: No, it's like it's a legit like almost like a
- 1:04Speaker 4: real estate agent. Oh sure, rock box, and it has
- 1:07Speaker 4: a backup key in there. He just punched in the code. However,
- 1:10Speaker 4: the system failed and he didn't understand why he couldn't
- 1:13Speaker 4: get it open. He texted me frantic, Thank god the
- 1:17Speaker 4: show was over, but I wasn't done working. But anyway,
- 1:20Speaker 4: I left here and it's taking me an hour to
- 1:22Speaker 4: get home from because of construction. But at some point
- 1:26Speaker 4: he texted me and he said, I got it.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I was gonna say, because those key boxes can be
- 1:30Speaker 2: very difficult, especially if it's the round combination ones.
- 1:33Speaker 3: No, it's the punching the punch number one.
- 1:36Speaker 4: What had happened was whomever put the key back in
- 1:39Speaker 4: the last time the key was positioned so it was
- 1:42Speaker 4: making it tough for the latch to come, so he
- 1:45Speaker 4: had to jiggle it a bunch.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of people have been through that.
- 1:48Speaker 3: It's just annoying. But yeah, so now I'm thinking we
- 1:51Speaker 3: should just go to a rock. Yeah, just go to
- 1:52Speaker 3: the easy rock or put it under a mats you know.

- 9:52Speaker 3: Why I still love her? Exactly? All right?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I'm kNN o'che in for Toby. There is a new
- 9:57Speaker 2: app being called the Tinder for Jobs. Until you hear
- 10:00Speaker 2: what the app does for you and how it helps
- 10:02Speaker 2: you secure an interview and why some people are asking
- 10:06Speaker 2: is this ethical?
- 10:07Speaker 3: We'll share that with you next.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Good Morning, It's Toby and Tilly in the Morning, ninety
- 10:12Speaker 2: seven point one Wash FM. I'm kidd o'she We are
- 10:15Speaker 2: talking about a new app that is helping people secure
- 10:18Speaker 2: interviews for jobs, but some people think it's going too far.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Well, it's a startup called source Soorcee, and they thought
- 10:26Speaker 4: it could make job hunting as easy as a dating app.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Think of it as like Tinder for jobs. It lets
- 10:31Speaker 4: users swipe on listings while AI will handle the applications,
- 10:36Speaker 4: the cover letters, and the portals. Now, despite claims of
- 10:40Speaker 4: millions of swipes and interviews with major companies. Critics are
- 10:44Speaker 4: saying that it further dehumanizes an already flawed hiring process,
- 10:49Speaker 4: and it's making job hunting feel even more like a
- 10:52Speaker 4: game that no one wants to play. But how would
- 10:54Speaker 4: you feel about using this app to find a job?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, I will say it can get frustrated when you
- 10:59Speaker 2: try to upload the applications not the right file, and
- 11:02Speaker 2: you know the cover letter and all that. So taking
- 11:04Speaker 2: that part out of it making it easy you set
- 11:06Speaker 2: up your profile, they just get it. But is it
- 11:08Speaker 2: writing your cover letter and things like that? Like, I
- 11:10Speaker 2: feel like i should still be handwriting the cover letter
- 11:14Speaker 2: to show that I'm interested in this position.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Even though I'm not a fan of AI infiltrating everything,
- 11:20Speaker 4: I think that if it's streamlining the process, at the
- 11:22Speaker 4: end of the day, it's like helping having my friend
- 11:25Speaker 4: help me write a resume. How is this different? I
- 11:27Speaker 4: just want to get that dang interview, And if this
- 11:29Speaker 4: is going to help me get in front of a
- 11:31Speaker 4: human yeah, to tell them and show them and market myself,
- 11:35Speaker 4: then I am all for it.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I just every time I use AI to write anything
- 11:39Speaker 2: about me, it just makes me sound so much better
- 11:41Speaker 2: than I am.
- 11:42Speaker 3: So that's my concern. That's a good thing.
- 11:46Speaker 5: Shelby and Chili's nearly impossible.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Question until you get to the interview. All right, what
- 11:50Speaker 2: is today's question?
- 11:52Speaker 3: You touch this up to eight hundred times a day?
- 11:56Speaker 3: What is it?

- 12:14Speaker 2: She'll be there November sixteenth if you want to see
- 12:16Speaker 2: Sarah McLaughlin eight six six nine two seven four three
- 12:18Speaker 2: six one. We'll get the answer to the nearly impossible question.

- 12:54Speaker 3: Oh my lord, Yeah, if you're loved with yourself, you
- 12:58Speaker 3: gonna touch your face.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Remember during the COVID days, you couldn't touch anything, you know,
- 13:02Speaker 2: that's true.
- 13:03Speaker 3: That's why people wore a mask around the clock. They're like,
- 13:05Speaker 3: I don't trust my hands.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that's an excellent guest, Bill, and yes, it is true.

- 16:42Speaker 2: your Wednesday with Toby and Chile in the morning.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I'm kiddo, Shay.
- 16:46Speaker 2: A relationship expert is saying, if you do this, it
- 16:49Speaker 2: could help your relationship.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Well, you know, we know relationships are not perfect, and
- 16:53Speaker 4: there's a psychologist that says twenty minutes a day connecting
- 16:59Speaker 4: and having a conversation with your partner could really help
- 17:04Speaker 4: you get out of that rut. Obviously, you should also
- 17:07Speaker 4: have compliments every day to each other, do fun activities together,
- 17:12Speaker 4: but twenty minute conversations every day about neutral or positive
- 17:17Speaker 4: test neutral.
- 17:19Speaker 2: So you're saying twenty minutes uninterrupted, no phones, no dog
- 17:23Speaker 2: asking to play ball time, no kids running around, and
- 17:27Speaker 2: then we've got to get through twenty minutes without any
- 17:30Speaker 2: confrontation because I don't know about you. But whenever we
- 17:33Speaker 2: have household conversations or family, you know something confirmed. Yes,
- 17:37Speaker 2: it's like we make it about five minutes in before
- 17:40Speaker 2: somebody's voice gets a little too high and you're reminded
- 17:42Speaker 2: to bring your voice down.
- 17:43Speaker 3: What about you.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I think that's why relationships feel stuck sometimes. I think
- 17:48Speaker 4: prioritizing reconnection is a good thing. Is it realistic? No,
- 17:53Speaker 4: it's hard to have twenty minutes. My husband and I
- 17:56Speaker 4: now can do this because he works from home. Yeah,
- 17:59Speaker 4: and I'll come home home around eleven or noon and
- 18:01Speaker 4: we could sit and have lunch together, or we could
- 18:04Speaker 4: go for a walk with the dog together.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But most people they don't even see right until the
- 18:09Speaker 3: very end of the day, and I don't know that
- 18:10Speaker 3: they want to talk.
- 18:11Speaker 2: No, you're exhausted, like, don't talk to me, get away
- 18:13Speaker 2: from me. I say start small on this. Let's start
- 18:16Speaker 2: with five minutes a day, uninterrupted and a nice conversation.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Gad, I thought you're gonna say twenty seconds. Oh no,
- 18:22Speaker 3: well good coming up next here?
- 18:24Speaker 2: Where do you draw the line when it comes to
- 18:26Speaker 2: cameras monitoring everything?
- 18:28Speaker 3: We do?
- 18:29Speaker 2: Wait until you hear what one major toilet manufacturer is
- 18:33Speaker 2: now offering and has this gone too far? We'll tell
- 18:36Speaker 2: you that story next. Tell me in Chili in the
- 18:40Speaker 2: morning ninety seven point one wash FM. I'm kido'she Are
- 18:43Speaker 2: there certain places that there should never be a camera
- 18:47Speaker 2: like your toilet?
- 18:48Speaker 3: Tell me about this Chili.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Okay, So Cohler who makes toilets, they've launched a device
- 18:53Speaker 4: called Dakota. It costs six hundred dollars and you mount
- 18:58Speaker 4: it onto your tour toilet and it will use optical
- 19:01Speaker 4: sensors to monitor your health by analyzing things that are
- 19:06Speaker 4: in the toilet. It'll track your hydration and your gut
- 19:09Speaker 4: health and anything that may seem abnormal. Then it sends
- 19:12Speaker 4: a report to an app which you can log in
- 19:15Speaker 4: using your fingerprint. And in addition to the six hundred
- 19:18Speaker 4: dollars to get the device, you have to pay monthly
- 19:21Speaker 4: fee anywhere from seventy two one hundred and fifty six dollars.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Now, this is like wearing a smart watch that tells
- 19:27Speaker 2: counts your steps and a healthy feet Yeah.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you sleep. This is a bit more invasive. It
- 19:34Speaker 4: seems like there's an optical there's like a camera on
- 19:37Speaker 4: your toilet taking a look at things.
- 19:39Speaker 3: So what do you think about this? Would you? Is
- 19:41Speaker 3: this a device that you would find useful?
- 19:44Speaker 4: I think it's very useful because there we are more
- 19:47Speaker 4: mindful of our health and being on top of that.
- 19:50Speaker 4: But I know how I am, even with monitoring my
- 19:54Speaker 4: sleep with my smart watch, I would be looking at
- 19:57Speaker 4: that and over analyzing it and paranoid. So for that reason,
- 20:02Speaker 4: I'm out.
- 20:03Speaker 3: You're out. Oh yeah, what about you? I'm not against it.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I guess I think it's a good idea, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 2: to keep track of things like that. But then the
- 20:10Speaker 2: price takes a little out of whack from oh really
- 20:12Speaker 2: for six hundred dollars. I'll continue self monitoring at this
- 20:15Speaker 2: point until the price tag comes down.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Until there's like Amazon Prime Day. And yeah, but are
- 20:20Speaker 4: there some places where cameras really should should not be.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great conversation. We should start right now
- 20:26Speaker 2: at eight six six nine two seven four three six one,

- 20:37Speaker 2: a little bit, But first we're working on Top Stories.
