Three Firefighters Lost in West Wildfire
Three firefighters died and two were injured in a deadly burnover near the Colorado-Utah border while battling the rapidly growing Snyder Fire — now the largest in Utah at over 144 square miles. The blaze, fueled by extreme heat, dryness, and wind, merged two existing fires and has scorched 44 square miles.
