- 0:18So today is a bonus episode. Which means something big is.
- 0:21Coming. If you watched our last episode,
- 0:24you'll know that next week we are having the Twisted Sisters
- 0:28on an episode to talk all things about their books, Zodiac
- 0:31Academy, their careers, so we are very excited.
- 0:35We are so excited. This is huge for us.
- 0:37Huge. So we thought today we would
- 0:39actually talk about how Zodiac Academy brought us together, the
- 0:43books themselves, and we'll play like a fun little game of snog,
- 0:46marry pie as well. Yeah, 100%.
- 0:49It's going to be a fun little episode, but before we get into
- 0:53the game, our rankings, our reading orders, we wanted to
- 0:56talk a bit about how it impacted us as friends, as creators, our
- 1:01podcast, basically our overall origin story.
- 1:05Yeah. But before we get into all of
- 1:07that, don't forget to like, share, subscribe and follow to
- 1:11our podcast is the most important thing.
- 1:12It's so important to us. And if you do that this week,
- 1:14you will also be the first to know as soon as the interview
- 1:17with the sisters drops. So hit the button.
- 1:20It's very, very important to us. We'll start with OJ Academy
- 1:22because it's the whole, it's the whole rhyme and reason for us,
- 1:25yeah. Do you remember how you
- 1:27originally found the series itself?
- 1:30I do, and it was thanks to one of book talks own as well.
- 1:33So if you follow a court of spicy books back then she was
- 1:38talking very heavily about this series and she came up on my for
- 1:41you page. I wasn't a content creator there
- 1:44and I was just in the shadows of TikTok.
- 1:46A lurka. A Lurka.
- 1:48And I don't even know how I got onto book content, but I did.
- 1:52And she described it as adult spicy Harry Potter, I think.
- 1:56And obviously we're not fans really of JK.
- 1:59Well, we're not. We're not fans of JK Rowling
- 2:01anymore as a person. But though that series to both
- 2:05of us was quite pivotal in our reading journey as children and
- 2:09teens and things. So that really sold it for me
- 2:12and I decided to read them. And then obviously the rest is
- 2:15history in terms of consuming all of the other books that I've
- 2:19read. But what about you?
- 2:21I found it through Amazon. I so like my like falling in
- 2:27love with reading again journey started after I had my daughter
- 2:29in 2020. Obviously we then had COVID
- 2:32locked down. I had terrible post Natal
- 2:34depression and my sister Ellie gave me fraud of glass.
- 2:38So I kind of restarted my reading journey with that.
- 2:39And at the time and then I was like, what am I reading next?
- 2:41And I was on Amazon trying to find some books for my husband
- 2:44to get me for Christmas. And it just like popped up on
- 2:47like the kind of recommended for you part.
- 2:50And as soon as I saw Zodiac as a big astrology girly, obviously
- 2:53my whole life I was like, well, this sounds like a bit of me.
- 2:56And I love an Academy setting. Love it, especially in fantasy
- 3:01series. So I picked up the first book
- 3:02and then like fell down the rabbit hole and never came back
- 3:05out of it. Still obsessed now, Like how
- 3:07many years? Five years later?
- 3:09Yeah, five years. I think we both read them in
- 3:102021 and then started our book talks in 2022.
- 3:15And both of us, our first video was basically on Zodiac Academy.
- 3:18Yeah, I started my TikTok simply because my best friend Amy has
- 3:24said since like, like, you know, like those like, aesthetic
- 3:29videos, like the music and the vibes of the story.
- 3:32She was like, you need to make one of these four Zodiac
- 3:35Academy. So I made a TikTok count
- 3:37literally just to make a little video of my bestie.
- 3:40And then then, you know, my TikTok journey started from
- 3:44there. Mine was also similar in that
- 3:45aspect because I was at work with my colleague at the time,
- 3:49slash friend Sarah, and she was like, we were talking about
- 3:54books quite a lot. And at that point I was back
- 3:55into reading quite heavily and she would be like, gosh, you
- 3:58read so much. And I was like, I know I was
- 4:00thinking about starting a book talk, but it's so cringe blah,
- 4:03blah, blah. Like I was just really insecure
- 4:04about it because obviously me and Tor as well, we are slightly
- 4:08older than what the most of the creators were at that time.
- 4:12And she was like, no, you should do it.
- 4:13You should do it. And so I did it because she told
- 4:15me to blamed her, thank her. I always say to Sarah, like, I
- 4:20wouldn't done that without you, girl.
- 4:22And so, yeah, it was very similar for both of us.
- 4:25And then how we met was kind of through Zodiac too, to be
- 4:29honest, because we both or I ended up in a book club with
- 4:33tour sister Ellie. Tour sister was looking for
- 4:35people to meet up with in London, chat about books.
- 4:39I responded and we met then. Yeah, few months later other
- 4:45bookish friends as well made a group chat for people to reread
- 4:49Twilight. Terrible.
- 4:50That was a terrible idea. We all failed at that and the
- 4:53second one put me in a slump. But then when we were on that
- 4:58group chat, we realised that so many of us were reading and
- 5:00loving Zodiac Academy and so we made another group chat which
- 5:04was like me, Tor and a few others.
- 5:06The ASK group. The ask, ask, ask specifically,
- 5:09you know, like Almighty. What's it?
- 5:10Sovereign society? Yeah, there you go.
- 5:12Are you? Are you?
- 5:13Even a true fan. I need to reread it's been a
- 5:15while. And that was like we were
- 5:19reading them as they were being released together.
- 5:22And one of our friends, Amy, was reading it on holiday while she
- 5:26was drunk on the beach, reacting to all the crazy things that
- 5:30happened in these books. She.
- 5:31Was in Mexico with all inclusive cocktails and her reactions to
- 5:35some of the things that were happening in the books.
- 5:36Well, why? I will never forget some of
- 5:38them. It was so funny.
- 5:40So that's kind of how we became like, properly friends.
- 5:43And then, of course, we both started taking content quite
- 5:46seriously, and that's how the podcast came to be.
- 5:51Yeah, we started. So we had like, because we were
- 5:53doing content, Yeah. And that's always been, I feel
- 5:56like that really, really became the backbone about friendship
- 6:01really. And then we started a book club
- 6:02and then we were like, what's the next step for us?
- 6:04And we were like, we fucking love talking.
- 6:06We both love that kind of like longer form style when we're
- 6:09doing TikTok. So there's like a chattier yeah,
- 6:12really talking about our books. And that was how the podcast
- 6:15came through. We spoke about it for ages
- 6:16before we started doing it. And then we were like, OK, let's
- 6:19do it. Yeah, and now we're on Season 3.
- 6:21Yes, we are. Somehow, I don't know how we've
- 6:24got here, but it's been a whole. Year.
- 6:26Yeah, that's wild. We literally just hit our year
- 6:28anniversary while we were out on our Easter break.
- 6:31Yeah, wild. I love you.
- 6:34I love you too. The autisticness Do we want to
- 6:38touch? Each other, I love you.
- 6:42OK, so that is our origin story, but let's go on and talk about
- 6:48Zoda Academy specifically. We will talk about their other
- 6:51books as well. Yeah, but let's start with Zoda
- 6:54Academy. Spoiler warning, yes.
- 6:57If you haven't read them, we're obviously going to try and keep
- 6:59it like not super spoiler heavy, but inevitably we will talk
- 7:03about something. So spoiler warning for that
- 7:06series. Let's start with reading order.
- 7:08Yeah? How did you read the series?
- 7:11So when I read them, only the first five books were out, so I
- 7:18didn't have, like, a huge choice at that time.
- 7:21So I read books one to five, then six came out, and then I
- 7:27read as told by the boys. OK.
- 7:30Yeah. Or did I read as told by the
- 7:32boys between 5:00 and 6:00? It was either between 5:00 and
- 7:356:00 or after six. And then they had a few
- 7:38novellas. Yeah.
- 7:39Which I did. So like the Ass Party one.
- 7:43Yeah, the Leon one. Oh no, sorry.
- 7:46Here after number six. I then went and read Ruthless
- 7:51Boys 7 releases after we've done the novellas as well.
- 7:57Then another novella releases after 7, which I think was
- 8:02beyond the veil. No, that was 8.5.
- 8:09I feel like there was one between 7:00 and 8:00, maybe a
- 8:12short 1. There was the Foxy Tails which
- 8:14had a couple of like bonus chapters.
- 8:16Foxy Tails, and I do, yeah. I have Foxy tails.
- 8:18I've read Foxy tails. So it was that, then Eight, and
- 8:22then I did, yes, because I didn't read Beyond the Veil and
- 8:26then Nine and I have kind of not read all of the novellas just
- 8:32because I'm not a huge novella person in general.
- 8:34So that was my reading order. Sort of like 1:00 to 5:00.
- 8:38Ruthless Boys, 6789 with a few novellas sprinkled in.
- 8:42So you did Ruthless boys between book 5 and 6?
- 8:46Yeah, I think so. It was a long time.
- 8:50It was five years ago. It was somewhere around there
- 8:54because there was a break between the next Zodiac book
- 8:56basically being released and I was able to read all of Ruthless
- 9:00Boys back-to-back and complete that.
- 9:02So I I think it was that, yeah, I read Ruthless Boys after book
- 9:065, they were all completed, so I finished them then book 6 and so
- 9:10on. Fine.
- 9:11What about you? I read them, so when I read
- 9:15them, I didn't have a TikTok. I think me and Ellie had started
- 9:20our bookstagram account, but we were really just using it to
- 9:23like review, review books that we had been reading.
- 9:26I don't even know if I actually had a bookstagram then actually,
- 9:29because I think Zodiac Academy was what started that journey
- 9:31for us. So I, when I read them, they
- 9:38were all the way up to book 6 or 7.
- 9:42So I read them quite a while after you and I didn't know
- 9:45because I wasn't on TikTok, because I wasn't on anything
- 9:47else. I didn't know there was this
- 9:50whole other series. I'd kind of seen it in the front
- 9:54of their books, obviously when you see, but I didn't know the,
- 9:57the, the correlation to Zodiac Academy.
- 10:00So I read one to six I think is actually what I did, and then
- 10:11Heartless Sky was coming out quite soon after I finished book
- 10:156. OK, Yeah.
- 10:17So I've then read on to seven and then I think I read Ruthless
- 10:21Boys in between 7 and eights with quite big gap between
- 10:25Heartless Sky and Sorry and Starlight.
- 10:27Didn't it was pushed back a few times, Yeah.
- 10:29So I think that was when I read Ruthless Boys and I did those on
- 10:33audio and then read 88.5. And then?
- 10:38Nine and then after the series finished, was when I read
- 10:42Dartmoor Penitentiary. And did you ever do as told by
- 10:45the boys? I did, yeah.
- 10:47But I think as well, I did that in between, like a book, like
- 10:52books releasing where I needed a bit of a fix.
- 10:54Yeah. Like I needed it injected into
- 10:56my veins because I missed it so much.
- 10:58And then I read it at some point in between the books, So.
- 11:02And I've read all of the novellas as well.
- 11:03I've read Fox Tales, I've read the last one.
- 11:05I've read Seth on the Moon. See, I've not read Seth on the
- 11:08Moon the only. One I haven't read.
- 11:13I'm outing myself here as a non true fan.
- 11:15I have not read Livin that Lionel.
- 11:18I've not read that either. And I do want to read it, but I
- 11:21haven't read it yet. Yeah, I think I've not read Set
- 11:24on the Moon, Livin That Lionel and Beyond the Veil.
- 11:26But Livin that Lionel is like almost like a full size book.
- 11:29It's not a tiny novella because like Beyond the Veil is quite
- 11:32big as well. That's like a full size book.
- 11:34Not as big as there are other books obviously, but it is it is
- 11:37a full size book and I loved that book.
- 11:39They like a hecking long story. But I love I, I think the thing
- 11:45with Zodiac Academy is you're by the point that you're in it,
- 11:49you're in it for the characters because they feel like you're
- 11:54friends. Yeah, it's the definition of
- 11:56found family trope. Oh my.
- 11:57God, yeah. If you love that trope, you'll
- 12:00not find it done better than this series.
- 12:02I don't think I've read a series funnier.
- 12:05Yeah, it's so funny. So, so, so funny.
- 12:08Yeah, they made me laugh so much.
- 12:09Every single book. Every single book.
- 12:12And like when you go back and reread, they just get funnier
- 12:14because you know the characters even better.
- 12:16Yeah, but I feel like a lot of people don't understand that
- 12:19certain things they're doing are a joke.
- 12:21So like I always see people say like, oh, they've called it
- 12:24fable, that's so cheesy. And I'm like, that's the joke.
- 12:27That's the joke. But yeah, it's definitely a
- 12:30specific type of humour. But to me, they're the funniest
- 12:32ever, yeah. So in terms of how like you
- 12:37would recommend it to how you would recommend to read them,
- 12:42Yeah, I think we have a kind of similar view on this now because
- 12:44it is like different reading orders you can do, you can
- 12:48obviously do them like chronologically.
- 12:50But I think, I think we're I think we're aligned on this.
- 12:55You do the first 4, but I do believe that it's stressful
- 13:01stepping away at the end of book 4 to go and read Ruthless.
- 13:04I don't know how people would do it, but I understand why it's
- 13:07important to do it. So the recommended reading order
- 13:12is the first four books up into Shadow Princess.
- 13:15Go back and read the first five Ruthless Boys books, then come
- 13:20back and read the rest of Zodiac Academy before going on to read
- 13:24Dark More Penitentiary. Is that how you would recommend?
- 13:27No. Interesting.
- 13:28So I always tell people, and I've done videos on this before,
- 13:32I always recommend one to three, then switch to ruthless boys and
- 13:37do all 5 because of the stressful ending at the end of
- 13:40four that you won't want to come away from.
- 13:43So I feel like book Ender book 3 feels a more natural stopping
- 13:47point to switch. OK.
- 13:49So that's the only difference. But then all 5 come back to
- 13:53Zodiac. Do 456 after six, do as told by
- 13:58the boys and then I would say do 789 and then.
- 14:04Start saying OK, yeah, OK. I didn't think about as told by
- 14:09the boys. Actually, that makes sense.
- 14:10And I can't remember my rationale as to why, as told by
- 14:14the boys, I think is important. But there is something in the
- 14:16book that I think is important before you do later.
- 14:18Books, I think it is good to go back and read it, read the
- 14:22perspectives from them. Yeah, like once you're a little
- 14:26bit further into it, I think it adds a certain amount of depth
- 14:29to the story. But I do also think there's
- 14:31something in it that's missing from the main story.
- 14:34But now I can't remember what it is.
- 14:37I think there is something you only learn in that book.
- 14:39Reread. Yeah, the only the only option.
- 14:42Just going to have to reread again.
- 14:43But yeah, mostly the same. And you can then go on to read
- 14:49Sins of the Zodiac, which is set in the same overall world as
- 14:55Zodiac Academy. Yeah.
- 14:57So Zodiac Academy, Rufus boys and Dartmoor are set in Solaria.
- 15:02And how they describe it is imagine Zodiac Academy in that
- 15:06world is in America. Sins of the Zodiac is what would
- 15:11be like Europe. Yeah.
- 15:12So you can then go on to read those, although it is an
- 15:17entirely different story in and of itself.
- 15:20Yeah, which I haven't read yet. Tours on book.
- 15:22Three. Yeah, just finished it last
- 15:24month. Yep.
- 15:25So very interested to start those.
- 15:27So now we're gonna rank, which I feel like is really hard because
- 15:31let us be clear that we don't think any of these books are
- 15:34what I don't think any of you. Was gonna say speak for
- 15:37yourself. I don't think any of them are
- 15:40bad. Some are just much better than
- 15:42others. Yeah, and I'm very curious to
- 15:45see how similar our ranking is in terms of the things, but we
- 15:52are only doing like the core 9 books because to do them all
- 15:55would just be bloody wild. And I haven't even read all of
- 15:58the novellas anyway. So Core 9 books, that's what
- 16:01we're doing. OK, you go first.
- 16:03What's your least favorite? OK, so I.
- 16:06Do think there is a bad book? Only one, but I think it's the
- 16:10first book and when I read the first book for the first time, I
- 16:14hate Reddit. I was literally like, this is
- 16:17ridiculous. The writing's awful.
- 16:20Like honestly I was savage about it but I couldn't put it down.
- 16:24So that's how I ended up going on to the books that I then
- 16:26enjoyed. But I still do probably think if
- 16:29I read book one now it would not.
- 16:31It would be my least favorite. Yeah, so I'm actually in
- 16:34agreement. I think that the first book is
- 16:37the worst of the 9. I the first time I read it.
- 16:41A bit like you, I enjoyed it when I was reading it.
- 16:43Found it very very very addictive.
- 16:45But I I felt like I was getting in something quite YA for the
- 16:50first like 3/4 of the book and I was like it was quite juvenile.
- 16:54Yes it does 100%. And then it got to a set and
- 16:58classroom scene. This is what YA.
- 17:02This is this is this is the three. 60 or 180, whatever it
- 17:06is, 360. This is done at 180.
- 17:12And then I was like oh OK, not that, not that I need spice to
- 17:16throw, but to be good. But I had just thought I was
- 17:19getting in something quite YA as I'd got through it, but I did.
- 17:23I definitely enjoyed it enough to still go on the book too.
- 17:25So same as you. But now when I go back and read
- 17:29it, I love reading that like first part where they're first
- 17:33start finding everything out like, oh, this is great.
- 17:35Yeah, but I think that's like the sense of nostalgia with it
- 17:38too, though, right. Yeah.
- 17:40OK. And then in eighth spot, I have
- 17:42Fated Throne, which is book 66. Yes, it's book 6.
- 17:49And the reason I have Book 6 here is because it's a very,
- 17:52very dark book the whole way through.
- 17:56It's quite heavy to read, and it does feel quite slow in parts.
- 18:02It's a brutal book where you feel like the end is never
- 18:05insight and nothing good is ever going to happen to these
- 18:08characters. And then naturally, because of
- 18:10that, it has less humor and found family moments than the
- 18:14rest of the series. So for me, that one I remember
- 18:17at the time thinking, this is a hard 1 to get through.
- 18:20Yeah, not because it was bad, just because it's such a
- 18:23different tone to some of the other books.
- 18:25Yeah, fair. I can understand that.
- 18:26Yeah. My second is Rufus Faye, which
- 18:29is the second book. I almost did that, but yeah.
- 18:34Bullying I found really intense in Book 2 and I was getting
- 18:38really stressed throughout it. It was winding me up and I was
- 18:42getting really like riled up by it.
- 18:45The ending of book 2, though, was like one of those like peak
- 18:49like reading moments that will forever stick out of my mind.
- 18:51So it's really loath to put this in like this place.
- 18:55However, like for if I think about the overall book and
- 18:58that's what I have to think about that would that would sit
- 19:01at 8th place. Yeah, so funnily enough, for me,
- 19:05at 7th place is the same one Ruthless Fame, which is book 2.
- 19:10Not really for the same reasons that Tor has said.
- 19:14I didn't. It sounds weird to say, but I
- 19:16didn't mind the bullying at all. I didn't struggle with it.
- 19:18It wasn't something that, yeah, I got angry at the characters,
- 19:21but as a kind of trigger, I suppose it doesn't bother me.
- 19:26But it was still like a little bit weaker than some of the
- 19:29later books in terms of their writing and feeling a little bit
- 19:33juvenile. But again, the reason just a
- 19:37little bit. Just a little bit, but again,
- 19:39the reason I didn't put it at #8 the same as Tor was because this
- 19:43is the point where I started to get really addicted and the
- 19:45ending was so good. My next one is actually book
- 19:50five. OK, which is Curse Fate.
- 19:53Yeah, interesting. Just the whole aftermath of book
- 19:57four. I was just.
- 20:01It's a stressful one, it is. So stressful and it was a wild
- 20:05ride. And the ending.
- 20:07I was so angry about the ending of that book.
- 20:11Yeah. Not that.
- 20:13And listen, this is all goes to say that I have every single one
- 20:16of these books. Like I loved this book so much,
- 20:19but just like overall, in terms of breeding experience and
- 20:23things that happened, that would be my 7th play.
- 20:27Is that 7th? That's your seventh?
- 20:29Yeah. This is going to get confused I.
- 20:31Know it makes sense. My number six, maybe a
- 20:36controversial one, but it's Heartless Sky because which is
- 20:41book seven. Yeah, 7:00.
- 20:44Yes, it is book 7. Because although it has like an
- 20:48absolutely crazy ending that is insane, heart wrenching,
- 20:55devastating balls to the walls with so much stuff going on, the
- 21:00first maybe 600 pages are a lot slower and and it's a lot more
- 21:07like character based over plot base.
- 21:10And it's a lot of funny moments, a lot of spice, but not as much
- 21:13adventure and plot. Yeah, until that end.
- 21:17So although it's again, I mean, all of these books we love and
- 21:19again, five stars, but in terms of the ratio of how much plot
- 21:24versus action and spice and romance, it's just a little bit
- 21:27off for me. OK, interesting.
- 21:29Yeah. Start to get quite different.
- 21:31Yeah, my book in my 6th place actually would have to go to
- 21:37Sorrow and Starlight OK Book 8, just because parts of it I
- 21:44didn't enjoy as much. And I think this there was a
- 21:46real agreement in the community. I think that there felt like a
- 21:50lot of filler in this book, which was fine because again,
- 21:55and that those fillery parts are funny and they're emotional, but
- 22:00I because of what happens at the end of book 7, you want the
- 22:05story to be moving, moving, moving because you're waiting
- 22:08for some things to happen. So like just overall, it wasn't,
- 22:13it wasn't my. Favorite.
- 22:15My favorite. Yeah.
- 22:16Yeah, OK. Makes sense.
- 22:18But there was, I have to say some.
- 22:22There are some moments in that that are so funny.
- 22:24Like, I genuinely cried with laughter at some of the moments
- 22:28in that book. Yeah, okay, top five now.
- 22:33So everything up here is 5 onwards for me.
- 22:36In 5th place is Shadow Princess, which is book 4.
- 22:40So for me, that book was so stressful, like so stressful.
- 22:45The back and forth between one of the couples was getting me
- 22:49quite irritated. And then of course the ending
- 22:52just blows that up even further and you have this insane
- 22:57cliffhanger where you're so angry at one of the characters
- 23:00for the stupid decision that they have made.
- 23:03It's I can still remember how angry I was finishing up.
- 23:08I have actually never experienced such a visceral
- 23:12reaction to something in a book. Like such a stupid decision by a
- 23:17character. That's not stupid in terms of
- 23:19the way the authors have written it, like an unrealistic
- 23:22decision. Just stupid of the character to
- 23:25do that. Yeah.
- 23:26So yeah, I will never get past that.
- 23:28That's my #5. OK, my number 5 is going to be
- 23:33Heartless Sky for similar reasons to you.
- 23:37It is a little bit slower. It's just it doesn't have the
- 23:41same like for me, it doesn't have the same emotional depth
- 23:45that some of the other books had in terms of like how it made me
- 23:49feel. I felt quite steady through most
- 23:51of Heartless Sky. Do you know what you mean?
- 23:53I didn't have that like heart racing.
- 23:56Yeah, Ness about it. So yeah, for sure, it's
- 23:59definitely. Definitely like a dull in pace,
- 24:03almost like that book is quite smooth for me #4 is Cursed Fates
- 24:09which is number the 5th book. It's just so confusing.
- 24:12Now guys, the 5th book is my fourth favorite and to be
- 24:17honest, I can't really remember much negative about this, but I
- 24:21also can't remember much positive about this one.
- 24:23I think I just really enjoyed this one.
- 24:26Nothing too much to say about it, so that's why I've put it
- 24:29there. OK, Yeah.
- 24:30Mine is now at Shadow Princess in fourth place.
- 24:36Yeah, Book 4 at 4th place. Yeah.
- 24:39I loved how like this book, you start to really kind of see some
- 24:46of the other relationships kind of starting to kind of like you
- 24:50start to get a bit like, oh, this is happening and this is
- 24:53happening and this is happening. And it was just there was so
- 24:56much stuff again, like the the although the ending was so
- 25:00frustrating. I have never experienced such an
- 25:04intense emotional reaction to the ending of a book.
- 25:07Yeah. And I just love the shock, shock
- 25:10factor of it because I'm one of those people that very naturally
- 25:14predicts a lot of stuff. Yeah, in books.
- 25:16And I just, I just didn't, doesn't see it coming.
- 25:18Yeah. So I, yeah, I bloody loved.
- 25:21It it was a wild 1/3 spot. I have Restless Stars, which is
- 25:26the final book in the series. The conclusion.
- 25:29It was an amazing ending to the story, but it is very chunky.
- 25:34So long. There's a few things added in
- 25:37that I think could have been taken out and some of the
- 25:40epilogues. I was a bit like, this isn't how
- 25:44I first saw their ending. Not necessarily like it in a bad
- 25:48way, but but like, I don't know how to explain it well.
- 25:51It just kept going on sort of thing.
- 25:54So even though I loved it, and it's obviously top three so it
- 25:57was still amazing, it's not my favorite.
- 26:00OK, yeah, I actually think I got really, I got.
- 26:06I'm really torn on. I'm really, really torn so much
- 26:10on the top three books, but I'm going to say third place for me
- 26:14goes to it. Is third place isn't it fated
- 26:17throne? OK, that's very different from
- 26:21us. Yeah, very different for me,
- 26:24Fated Throne, although it was dark, there was so much going
- 26:28on. There was some amazing
- 26:33relationships in here, like the yearning.
- 26:37There is a spy scene that for me rivals Chapter 55.
- 26:42I know exactly which one you mean.
- 26:44And it is so good, like the payoff from like in that scene,
- 26:49you're just like. Yeah.
- 26:54It was. Just so good.
- 26:55And I really enjoyed like the sisterly dynamics in that book
- 27:00and the way that they like, I don't, again, I don't want to
- 27:04spoil too much, but the way that they like all really like come
- 27:06together in Book 6. I just, I just thought it was so
- 27:10fantastic. Yeah, maybe I need to reread now
- 27:13that I have all those positive thoughts in my mind #2 for me is
- 27:18sorrow and Starlight, which is very different to tour and very
- 27:22different to the general community.
- 27:24I remember when I read this and I gave it five stars, I saw no
- 27:27one else give it that rating. I think I gave all of the books.
- 27:30Yeah, but like aside from us know what, and I get it, there
- 27:35is a bit of filler. But to me the filler in this
- 27:38book was all either funny or romance.
- 27:40So I enjoyed it. And this was the book where I
- 27:44really started to feel like there was some high fantasy
- 27:46elements because there's a lot of like different tasks that
- 27:50they're trying to do, relics that they're trying to find.
- 27:54Yeah, it was really fun in that sense, to be fair.
- 27:56It was a quite like an adventure quest type book, which I really
- 28:00enjoyed. I remember there's one
- 28:01particular scene which I won't go too spoilery into it, but
- 28:04there's a couple and they're trying to find something.
- 28:06They're alone in this sort of like chess board scene and it's
- 28:12like a game and you know they've got to do it quickly before bad
- 28:15things happen. And it really gave me like high
- 28:18fantasy vibes. I enjoyed that.
- 28:20And I enjoyed that a lot of the characters were back together
- 28:23and again, so many hilarious like tears streaming down my
- 28:28face moments in that. Are you thinking of the Xavier
- 28:30moment? No, I'm thinking of a ruthless
- 28:33boy moment. Oh, the windpipe, Yeah.
- 28:39You'll never forget our friend Amy, me and her voice noting in
- 28:43tears at that specific moment. So yeah, it's just got a lot of
- 28:47memories attached to that one too.
- 28:49Yeah, yeah, yeah. OK.
- 28:51So my second from top is restless Styles.
- 28:59Yeah, OK. So we both have the same tilt
- 29:02book, which isn't surprising. It was the I just felt like it
- 29:07was the perfect ending. Again, I think people still felt
- 29:09like a bit similar to sorrow and Starlight that it was too big,
- 29:12but I actually felt like every single thing made sense.
- 29:16It added to the story. I don't think any of it was
- 29:20filler in the sense it was just trying to make it bigger.
- 29:22I just think that everything kind of like ramped up for this
- 29:25amazing ending. For me personally, I love the
- 29:30like epilogues that they do and then they do a few and then I
- 29:33just everything about it was. Was so good.
- 29:36It is so good. It's still like top three for me
- 29:38as well. So yeah, it's so good.
- 29:40OK, number one book for both of us.
- 29:42Then The Reckoning, which is number 3 for me specifically.
- 29:48This is the point when I was like, I'm addicted, this is
- 29:51insane. I love this.
- 29:53And there is a point in this book where a romantic dynamic
- 29:57shifts. Between I think 22 Romantic
- 30:01actually really start to shift in this.
- 30:02Book. Yeah, potentially.
- 30:04I think, I think the one I'm thinking of specifically is I'll
- 30:08just say Darcy and her love interest because there's a lot
- 30:12of like enemies to lovers, back and forth banter, jealousy and
- 30:18possessiveness in this one. And then a really iconic quote,
- 30:23Declaration of Love, and that just sticks out to me.
- 30:27And it's before the books start getting longer as well.
- 30:30So it feels quite fast-paced and short and snappy, but so
- 30:34addictive. Yeah, I agree.
- 30:36And I so I I think my thing with the reckoning was that there was
- 30:40so much magic because they're going through these kind of
- 30:43magical trials within their elements to be able to set the
- 30:47reckoning is for them to be able to stay at Zodiac Academy.
- 30:51So I loved how much magic there was in it.
- 30:54I think that the the tension between Tory and Darius really
- 31:01kind of like starts to like bubble in this book and say
- 31:09similar like with the whole with Darcy's situation, you really
- 31:13just start to notice the the dynamics that are happening and
- 31:18it's just it's just such a good book.
- 31:20Yeah, that one was just. I'd give anything to read that
- 31:22again for the first time. I would give anything to reread
- 31:25the series. Well series for the first time
- 31:27again. I've reread the entire series 4
- 31:30Times Now. I think I've reread it fully
- 31:32twice. No, I don't think I've ever
- 31:35completed a full reread. As I've done it twice reading it
- 31:38and twice on audio. I've reread up to book 7 twice.
- 31:43I haven't done a reread since book 8.
- 31:45Came out. So I'm doing a reread.
- 31:48Thing because I did it last year.
- 31:51Yeah, the full on the whole thing, I think.
- 31:54It's because there's so many books and they're so long that I
- 31:57know even if I'm doing it on audio, a reread of this is taken
- 32:00away from other things that I would want to read always on my
- 32:03TBR. So I kind of put it off.
- 32:05But I do want to do 1 soon. It's a comfort thing.
- 32:08It is. It's definitely a comfort series
- 32:10for sure. OK, so in the series is there a
- 32:13book that you feel is criminally underrated by the fandom?
- 32:17Yeah, I think that Beyond the Veil 8.5 is criminally
- 32:21underrated by the fandom. So many people skip it, and you
- 32:28and I don't feel like it's quite as bad as when people skip Tower
- 32:31of Dawn because that's that's me.
- 32:35However, I do think that it adds a lot to the story and certain
- 32:41things that happen at the end of it help #9 make a lot of sense.
- 32:47It is. It's not just a retelling of
- 32:49another book like As Told by the Boys is.
- 32:52It is very much its own part of what's going on.
- 32:57And, and a bit like Luck with all the others.
- 33:00There are some moments in it that are so funny and because of
- 33:04things you know in 8.5 that happened that are so funny, it
- 33:07makes #9 even funnier. Like certain moments that
- 33:11happen. Oh no, I can't say that's too
- 33:13spoilery. Too spoilery, I'll tell you
- 33:16afterwards. Okay, okay.
- 33:18Maybe I should do it when I do my reread then.
- 33:20I think if you're going to do a reread at some point, if you're
- 33:23going to take it slow and do it on audio, then you should
- 33:25definitely listen to it. Okay, noted.
- 33:28Next time I do it, I'm going to do live in that Lionel, Yeah.
- 33:31I won't talk about mine too long because I feel like I've already
- 33:32covered it, but mine would be Sorrow in Starlight because a
- 33:35lot of people obviously didn't like it.
- 33:37And I think personally that it has a lot of those high fantasy
- 33:41moments and it makes Book 9, that's how it comes together
- 33:44because it they go through all these little puzzles and things.
- 33:47And I also just think the filler in that one is like, actually
- 33:50just funny and enjoyable. So I think people are a little
- 33:54harsh on that one. But I'm normally a hater, so I
- 33:56get it. Yeah.
- 33:58And. If you had to pick one moment
- 34:02that totally emotionally wrecked you.
- 34:07Oh my God, there's so many. This is going to be spoilery, so
- 34:10if you haven't got some of these points you can say which book I
- 34:13guess. Is, yeah, I'll just say like,
- 34:15you'll know if you know, but if you don't know, you won't know
- 34:19the end of Book 7 because there's a, there's a lot of
- 34:25character deaths. And it's not even just one
- 34:27specifically that is particularly devastating because
- 34:31there was 1 character death that maybe devastated other people
- 34:34that I knew wouldn't be the end. But there are other character
- 34:37deaths in that that are really sad.
- 34:40Yes, I agree with you because that is one of mine like there
- 34:46are so end of book 7. If you haven't read it, cut off
- 34:49here in the broadcast that I'm going to talk about it for for
- 34:53reasons. There's there's there's two
- 34:55things that I think for me really emotionally killed me off
- 34:58the series. Hamish and.
- 35:00Catalina. Catalina.
- 35:01Yeah, like dying together. That's what I'm specifically
- 35:03talking. About at the end of book 7 was
- 35:06so gut wrenching, like it was devastating.
- 35:13Like I just couldn't actually even compliment happen because
- 35:15you knew you knew that there was no coming back from it.
- 35:20And also, I was really stressed about the fate of Geraldine.
- 35:24Yes, because although she is a main character and she's funny
- 35:27and fan favorite, she's not one of the core four.
- 35:30Yeah. So they could have just been
- 35:32like, we're going to be savage. Yeah, we're going to get rid of
- 35:35her. So that's why I was more
- 35:37stressed about those 3 characters than Darius.
- 35:40Yeah, because I was like, well, there's no way they're getting
- 35:43rid of Darius because they've got no time to bring a new love
- 35:46interest in for Tori. Yeah, no.
- 35:48And she was, they were each other's.
- 35:50What's it called? Lissy and mates.
- 35:53Yeah, yeah. So it's not going to work if he
- 35:56doesn't come back. So I know at some point he will.
- 35:59But the other three, that's why it was so stressful.
- 36:01Yeah, yeah, the diary spit I didn't find too stressful about
- 36:04Hamish and Kathleen. I did.
- 36:05The other moment that I found absolutely emotionally wrecked
- 36:09me was in Restless Stars. Again, spoilers when their all
- 36:19their spirits come down to the clay people and the girls are
- 36:21fighting with their. Parents.
- 36:23Oh my God, I forgot even about that.
- 36:25That didn't affect me. Oh my God, I was just in
- 36:28absolute bits reading it. I'm crying just thinking about
- 36:32literally she's literally tearing up.
- 36:34My eyes are welling up. I just found it like Oh my God.
- 36:38Like they're finally together. Like I just thought it was so
- 36:41lovely. Oh God, love you.
- 36:44I think the other bit was for me was also the bit we've already
- 36:47discussed, which was the end of book 4.
- 36:48Yeah, I mean, the ending of Shadow Princess was like awful.
- 36:53But I don't. I can't remember if I cried.
- 36:57I didn't say I cried. When I originally.
- 36:59Remember, I feel like I was more angry and shocked than I was
- 37:04upset. Yeah, I'm trying to think if
- 37:06I've cried at this series at all.
- 37:09You must have no. No, no no, I don't know if I
- 37:12have cried at this series. I'll have to check my reviews
- 37:14later, but I don't think I have. Actually, I can cry at
- 37:18everything. Yeah, and I don't cry at that
- 37:19much, particularly back then. I cried more now than I did back
- 37:23then. Yeah, she does cry.
- 37:24She's got a picture. I made a show gem the other day.
- 37:29Really happy place. Happy Place is the most I've
- 37:31ever cried at a book. Glitch like distraught.
- 37:33She looks like she's going through some like serious form
- 37:36of grief, honestly. The Victorian widow.
- 37:40The most I've ever cried at a book was Happy Place Into Mezzo
- 37:45by Sally Rooney and back when I used to read SJM, the first
- 37:48Crescent City. Oh my God, yeah, that's.
- 37:51Great, that ending. What was that?
- 37:56I wasn't really thinking about the character that dies.
- 38:01What character that dies? I'm gonna Oh my God, guys.
- 38:10Oh my God. Sorry.
- 38:10We've. Just gone off on such tangents,
- 38:12I know. Always happens, always happens.
- 38:15OK, so that was most emotional moment.
- 38:17Who do you think? And you can only pick one Who do
- 38:23you think is the funniest character in the whole universe?
- 38:27This is really hard because there's two that are really
- 38:30funny, but they're also kind of annoying, and then there's one
- 38:34that's like funny in a different way.
- 38:36I have. Three.
- 38:37Yeah, I have 3. OK, so who are the three?
- 38:38The three are Leon, Seth and Geraldine.
- 38:40Yes, yeah, but but Seth and Leon can be Mardi sometimes.
- 38:46Do you know what Mardi means? I forget she doesn't know what
- 38:48Mardi means. She's not a Northerner, guys.
- 38:51Is this some Northern slang? Yeah, Mardi means, like,
- 38:54stroppy, like you'd say to a kid if they were just crying for no
- 38:57reason. Stop being Mardi.
- 38:59Yeah. So like, sometimes Leon and Seth
- 39:01can be a bit like children. Yeah, Geraldine is hilarious,
- 39:08but sometimes she's a bit macho. Hilarious.
- 39:11Yeah. But I think I would pick
- 39:12Geraldine overall. Do.
- 39:14You. Yeah, I think so.
- 39:15I see. I feel like Seth, Leon and
- 39:18Geraldine are definitely the three funniest characters in the
- 39:21series. I do think the funniest is
- 39:23between Seth and Geraldine. Yeah, but I do think that Seth
- 39:27is the funniest. I feel like he's just like
- 39:30outlandishness. And actually his strops really
- 39:34make me laugh. Like his meltdowns about things
- 39:37to Darcy are just wild. Yeah, and he does definitely get
- 39:41better in the later books. I think that's the thing we've
- 39:44Seth. I think that's what makes me
- 39:45love him more is that he's probably the character I hate
- 39:49the most at the. Beginning of the series, he's
- 39:52the worst bully I would. Say yes, because it's just he.
- 39:54It's got that real nasty, like British, they're supposed to be
- 39:57sent in America. It's got that rule like a nasty
- 39:59British boy like vibe, do you know what I mean?
- 40:03Yeah, for sure. I mean, I also do think that
- 40:06Orion is quite funny in his own way because he's.
- 40:10So. Grumpy.
- 40:11Yeah, he's so grumpy. He's so sarcastic.
- 40:14He hates everyone and he's stuck with these, like, kids,
- 40:17effectively. And also gay.
- 40:20He's technically he looks so young.
- 40:22I know he's like 26. 20 like they get like 2526 something
- 40:25like that. But also, I think Gabe is quite
- 40:28funny. A lot of the time.
- 40:30The thing that happens to him with his.
- 40:33Was it his pubes like that that story?
- 40:38That's so funny. Yeah, there is a lot of funny
- 40:42characters in it. Oh, there's so much humour.
- 40:44What always makes me laugh about these books as well is that they
- 40:48say that Zoda Academy should be, say, in America.
- 40:52It's like the equivalent to America.
- 40:53But there is so much British humor.
- 40:56Yeah, there is. I think Lance is so British.
- 40:59100% such a Brit. I literally picked to him as
- 41:02Daniel Craig who is British. What, because he's old?
- 41:07He looks like he could be a dad. He could be evil.
- 41:10Like, I know in the books it says that he's really fit, but I
- 41:13can't imagine a villain's fit. Do you know what I mean?
- 41:15Oh. Lionel, I thought you were
- 41:16talking about Lancer. No.
- 41:18Lionel. Lionel as Daniel.
- 41:21Has imagined him as Eric Dame. The rest?
- 41:23Of himself, yeah, I could see that.
- 41:25But then again, he's too fit. Like, I can't have a villain
- 41:28that's hot. I need a villain that's like,
- 41:31ugly. Yeah, because you, you have to.
- 41:33You have to hate. Lionel especially the stuff he
- 41:35does in book six. Yeah, he's a he gets a lot of
- 41:39spice scenes in Book 6 that I don't want to have someone
- 41:42attractive. Oh.
- 41:43Yeah, no, yeah, you are right. You are right.
- 41:45So outside of Zodiac had me, any other Twisted Sister favourites?
- 41:51Yes, so I have read 23 books by them in total I would say, and
- 41:57this is wild that I haven't continued it for this reason.
- 42:00Book 2 of Age of Vampires. Obsessed.
- 42:06Obsessed. You only got to book two.
- 42:07Yeah. And then I stopped.
- 42:10What? I don't know why.
- 42:12I can't even remember why I stopped.
- 42:14Oh my God, that's so good. I haven't finished the series
- 42:17but they are so good I need to go back to them.
- 42:20I got to one of those points was like I was waiting for the next
- 42:22release and then I forgot what happened in the previous book
- 42:24and I was like I need to do a recap before I can go on to it.
- 42:27I don't. Know what my excuse was?
- 42:29Don't know, Just couldn't tell you.
- 42:31Yeah, but book 2, I was like, this is like crack.
- 42:37Like this is going to be my new series because one of the love
- 42:40interests specifically as well is like my ideal love interest
- 42:44in a book. He was very much giving Damon,
- 42:47Salvatore, Spike in Buffy, even a bit of Lance Orion, that kind
- 42:53of love to hate love interest and I loved it.
- 42:57I also have read all of Ruthless Boys.
- 43:00There is a lot of spice in them, yeah, but again, they have the
- 43:04best found family and humour ever.
- 43:06Yeah, if you're not a smart read.
- 43:08I mean, you can't read a Twisted Sisters book if you don't like
- 43:10Smart SO. Yeah, and there is a few like
- 43:14dark romance ones they have that I've read as well, like the,
- 43:17what's it called, the Death Cycle duet or something, The
- 43:20Death Death Club duet. I've read them, I enjoyed them.
- 43:25I loved them because I like anything that the Twisted
- 43:27sisters do. But would I read them again?
- 43:29No Would I like probably put them in recommendation videos?
- 43:32Not really, because they're just not my vibe.
- 43:35But Age of Vampires is very, very my vibe.
- 43:39It is very your vibe, Yeah, and it is.
- 43:41It's so good. Yeah, what about you?
- 43:43Because you've read a lot more. I think I've read almost
- 43:46everything that they've written. I've read all of Zodiac Academy,
- 43:50all of ruthless boys, all of Dark, more everything in Sins of
- 43:53the Zodiac so far. Hollow, which is then newest
- 43:56release, which is a really good time.
- 43:58It's very different to to the other fantasy books.
- 44:04It's kind of set in this like woodland forest and there's
- 44:07these spirits. It's it's very, it's very good.
- 44:10I've also read the entire US of Anarchy series, and I do love
- 44:15the Kings of Quarantine series. I was less obsessed with the
- 44:20duet that you've read The Death Club did enjoy it, but less
- 44:24obsessed. But those are all wide shoes.
- 44:26So you have to be like in the mood.
- 44:29Like I can't always just pick up a wide shoes.
- 44:31I have to really be in the mood for it.
- 44:32And those are a bit more like those are contemporary.
- 44:35They're not. They're not, which is fantasy.
- 44:37Why I haven't done those ones and I probably never will
- 44:41because I don't gravitate towards that amount of smart and
- 44:44so if I was to. Especially not in a fantasy
- 44:46genre. Exactly like the only reason
- 44:48I've read Ruthless Sports noises.
- 44:49Because it's also fantasy and ties into the Solaria.
- 44:52World yeah, but they are good they are they are really good
- 44:55books like the writings Grey just like the other ones I've
- 44:59read most of the vampire ones yeah, I got up to book four I
- 45:05think and I think there's six or seven of them Six yeah.
- 45:09The only things that I actively haven't read is the Beautiful
- 45:14Carnage one, which I think is a. Yes.
- 45:17It is that's a contemporary like dark romance and then there was
- 45:21the forget me not bombshell as well, which was like a dark
- 45:24mafia romance and never ended up reading that either.
- 45:26Yes. But pretty much everything else
- 45:29I have read and we'll continue to do so as and when they come
- 45:31out. But I would say for anyone
- 45:34that's read Zodiac Academy and is looking for that next fix,
- 45:38the either the like Age of Vampires series or the sins of
- 45:42the Zodiac series will be what will kind of like scratch that
- 45:45hitch, I think. Yeah, the Age of Vampires 1 is a
- 45:48little slow to start in book one, but if you just persist
- 45:52with it, you'll you'll get that. Yeah, for sure.
- 45:54OK, snog marry pies. Snog marry pie.
- 45:58If you don't know what pie is in UK it's like when you reject
- 46:01someone. So it's like snog marry avoid,
- 46:04but snog marry pie. Yeah, I was going to do kill,
- 46:06marry, fuck, but I just thought it was a bit crass so.
- 46:10Being crass doesn't usually stop you.
- 46:13No, but I feel like on the podcast I have to be slightly
- 46:15more sensible, less sailor swear mouth.
- 46:17Yeah, OK. Who's going first, me or you?
- 46:20You do the first one. OK, snog marry Pie, Dante.
- 46:25Gabriel. Yeah.
- 46:27And Caleb. OK, I'm going to.
- 46:32Who was it? Dante.
- 46:35Get Gabriel and Caleb. Yeah, OK.
- 46:38I would snog Gabriel. Yeah.
- 46:41Marry Dante because he's the Italian.
- 46:42The Italian. I got to marry the Italian man.
- 46:46And then pie Caleb. He's having my least favorite
- 46:50love interest. Completely.
- 46:50Different answers to that. Stop it.
- 46:52Who would you do out of that one that?
- 46:53I would have Pied Dante because he's so cringe.
- 46:57I would have snogged Caleb and married Gabe.
- 47:00I think Gabe's like the ideal. Husband, I knew that you would
- 47:02marry Gabe. 6 foot six with tattoos and dark hair.
- 47:05Please sign me up. OK, I feel like this one's gonna
- 47:08be hard for you. Oh, God.
- 47:09OK. Snog.
- 47:10Marry pie. Lance.
- 47:12Darius Rider. Easy, easy.
- 47:15Marry Lance. Snog Rider Pie, Darius.
- 47:18No way you do really. Darius gets a bit annoying for
- 47:23me in the later books, but Lance is my favorite book boyfriend of
- 47:28all time. This is actually one of the ways
- 47:31that we, like, really like, became friends.
- 47:33We've both had this wild obsession with Lance We would,
- 47:36like fight over. He was actually going to marry
- 47:38him like, like an 8 year old girl.
- 47:41Yeah, yeah. Especially because at that point
- 47:43I felt like everyone else was like Darius.
- 47:46Yeah. And then Ryder is my favorite of
- 47:49the men in Ruthless Boys, so he would be snug.
- 47:52And I thought you were going to find that harder.
- 47:54No, that was. A dab Meg.
- 47:56OK, now I've got a girl one for you.
- 47:58OK, So Darcy. Yeah.
- 48:01Tori. Yeah.
- 48:02And Rosalie. I mean, I would have to snug
- 48:12Tori. I couldn't marry her because she
- 48:15is me. I am her.
- 48:16We'd literally kill each other. Yeah.
- 48:18Pie Darcy and marry Rosalie. She's such a badass.
- 48:23Yeah, I need to read Dark more to get more of a overview of
- 48:27Rosalie. Yeah.
- 48:28I would have. I would have married Darcy,
- 48:31snogged Rosalie, Pied Tori just because she winds me up.
- 48:36Why she doesn't like me? Really.
- 48:39It's so funny because, like, everyone actually, like,
- 48:41whenever, when book talk was in its younger days and there used
- 48:45to be a lot of like, tell me which character I'd be, I'd
- 48:47always get. Well, when when I had brown
- 48:50hair, it was always Tori or Rosalie.
- 48:54Like even without people knowing that I was a Zoda Academy fan,
- 48:57but Rosalie especially, people would always be like, you give
- 48:59real Rosie bubs. Until I was in Ginger and
- 49:01everyone was like, you're Bryce. Yeah.
- 49:03And I was like, I'm so not Bryce, but yeah.
- 49:05Yeah, I used to get people saying Tori all the time.
- 49:08I literally because I used to be really long hair full beat in
- 49:13every single video they. Were nothing like her.
- 49:16No, but like looks I think people and then.
- 49:20I get that. But like, I feel like you're
- 49:21very much like a, you've got a Darcy personality.
- 49:24Yeah, I'm much more Darcy, but they used to make me like do
- 49:28cosplays with her. There's like several cosplay
- 49:33videos as me of Tory. That's so.
- 49:35I guess because I dressed like that back then as well, like a
- 49:38little bit like all black leather jackets, a bit sexier
- 49:41than a dress now because I'm not as slim as I once was.
- 49:44But don't say that. But you're so sexy.
- 49:50OK, now, right? You're going to hate this.
- 49:54Oh no. She's going to like villains or
- 49:56something. Yeah, I knew you were.
- 49:58Going to do that SNOG marry 5 right washer Lionel Vard.
- 50:06I knew she was going to do this and that's why I didn't do that
- 50:09because I knew she was going to do it.
- 50:11OK, I would. God.
- 50:17That's so hard. I would snog Washer, I would
- 50:23marry Bard, and I would pie Lionel, I think.
- 50:29Oh my God no. I would have to pie Bard.
- 50:33Right. Oh my God, what would I do is so
- 50:38hard. I would have to.
- 50:41Snog Washer because he's just so grim.
- 50:45And then I'd have to marry Lionel and then kill him and
- 50:47take all of his money in the inheritance.
- 50:49Yeah. I mean, in an ideal world I'd do
- 50:51that, but he's so powerful. He's.
- 50:54So awful. If you listen, tell us in the
- 50:57comments what you would do in that situation because that one
- 50:59is actually so difficult. She's mean, guys.
- 51:03Oh God, too good, I'm too funny. OK girls, that is the hype
- 51:07episode done. We.
- 51:10That, that was well, that was so much fun.
- 51:11I actually really really really. Enjoyed that this one was so.
