A harrowing early morning crash on West Columbia Street left a 17-year-old driver seriously injured after slamming head-on into a tanker truck while driving the wrong way. Though the teen was already out of the burning vehicle when police arrived, the tanker driver fled the scene. Fortunately, the other driver involved walked away unharmed.
