Lucas: Perfect. You're getting the hang of it. Now, if you're thirsty, you might want to say: Quiero beber agua. Luna: Quiero beber agua. I want to drink water. That's useful. Lucas: And sometimes the water is cold and refreshing. So you can say: El agua está fría. Luna: El agua está fría. The water is cold. Nice. Lucas: Let's put it all together in a little scene. Imagine you're at the park and you're thirsty. Luna: Okay, I'm walking and I see the fountain. I ask: ¿Dónde está la fuente? Lucas: And someone points and says: Allí. Then you go over and say: Quiero beber agua. Luna: And I drink and say: El agua está fría. Lucas: That's a perfect little conversation. Let's review the phrases once more. La fuente, el agua. Luna: La fuente, el agua. Lucas: ¿Dónde está la fuente? Luna: ¿Dónde está la fuente? Lucas: Quiero beber agua. Luna: Quiero beber agua. Lucas: And El agua está fría. Luna: El agua está fría.
