- 0:07Speaker 3: Share your soup, and we hold the world ransom for.
- 0:12Speaker 4: Excuse me while I whip this out.
- 0:15Speaker 5: Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia to this.
- 0:19Speaker 4: This is the Sports Shot Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You may began, dang show, come to five? Comes to mind?
- 0:33Speaker 4: Is it just.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I'm a doing? Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way
- 0:41Speaker 1: you made Bill began.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:49Speaker 4: I am the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to
- 0:52Speaker 4: you out there and listening. Lang. Glad to be here
- 0:54Speaker 4: with you. Beautiful day on the horizon here in at
- 0:58Speaker 4: Atlanta as we come into the morning, sun is peeping through.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Big Kenny the funny Man himself in the building, commanchie
- 1:08Speaker 4: greg on the Ones and twos, and the Bad Producer
- 1:14Speaker 4: is in the building as well. Bad Producer. Good morning.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I went to Florida and a lot of our loyal
- 1:20Speaker 4: listeners down in Florida, actually those that know, they want
- 1:28Speaker 4: me to actually fire him. They actually want me to
- 1:34Speaker 4: extend an olive branch to you. They say that we
- 1:42Speaker 4: are consistently too hard on you, no matter. And this
- 1:51Speaker 4: is in the last week I've had at least six
- 1:53Speaker 4: seven different people come up to me and talk to
- 2:00Speaker 4: me about their vision of how me and you seem
- 2:10Speaker 4: to clash. They don't actually say the word bully, but
- 2:20Speaker 4: they feel like I should give you more of a
- 2:24Speaker 4: platform to defend yourself that it's me not you, because
- 2:31Speaker 4: I'm not giving you enough room to explain your points.
- 2:38Speaker 4: So on today's show, when I get around to you
- 2:45Speaker 4: and offer you the Olive brand of explaining your view,
- 2:52Speaker 4: your point of view, your idea, please take that time
- 2:59Speaker 4: to help the listeners understand that I have granted you
- 3:06Speaker 4: that moment so they can stop asking me and feeling
- 3:10Speaker 4: I mean they really like feel sorry said I might
- 3:16Speaker 4: have a post office type issue growing, So you're gonna
- 3:28Speaker 4: let the devil drive that maybe you might go postal.
- 3:36Speaker 4: They're they're afraid that you might hurt me if I
- 3:42Speaker 4: don't start letting you have enough space to tell them
- 3:49Speaker 4: why you mad. So I'm gonna make sure at least
- 3:54Speaker 4: on this show today. Because I got this day, this day,
- 4:00Speaker 4: the day after Mother's Day. Happy belated Mother's Day to
- 4:04Speaker 4: all you out there that brought life into the world
- 4:09Speaker 4: at some point, So happy belated Mother's Day. And I
- 4:15Speaker 4: have started off offering the olive branch for all our
- 4:18Speaker 4: loyal listeners that have that actually came face to face, shaking,
- 4:22Speaker 4: hand giving hug Hey, Man, I love watching the show.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I love listening to the show. You got to stall
- 4:29Speaker 4: the bad producer out. And I'm sitting there like, I
- 4:34Speaker 4: don't know how it sounds on the other end. I
- 4:37Speaker 4: know how it sounds in the studios, but I don't
- 4:41Speaker 4: know how the audience is hearing. But they're all very
- 4:46Speaker 4: worried that at this pace in their estimation, the bad
- 4:53Speaker 4: producer will have a bag of gun soon. Oh bang
- 4:59Speaker 4: the paper a canvas, It'll be a plastic Kroger bag
- 5:07Speaker 4: and exacting revenge, kind of like the Equalizer situation, you
- 5:13Speaker 4: know the movie, Denzel. So I'm gonna make sure to
- 5:19Speaker 4: keep you. Now. You gotta explain. See, I can't explain
- 5:22Speaker 4: for you, and I think and like I told them,
- 5:27Speaker 4: I'm just I don't accept emotional answer. Your dislike for
- 5:36Speaker 4: something cannot be commanche Big Kenny generated from you just
- 5:42Speaker 4: don't like. Yeah, we understand that part. Lebron James, and
- 5:49Speaker 4: that's not a defense, that's not an actual, that's not evident.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Not playing for North Carolina don't make you a bad person, right, Well,
- 5:57Speaker 4: I mean a lot of times that kind of thing
- 5:59Speaker 4: because the guy went to Duke is not know what
- 6:02Speaker 4: he did insignificant. So that's the only thing I've always
- 6:07Speaker 4: gotten crazed about. When you try to offer me an
- 6:13Speaker 4: answer based on emotion. Then because you don't like the
- 6:17Speaker 4: guy to thirty points, you find a way that the
- 6:19Speaker 4: thirty points I scored insignificant was Oh well it was
- 6:24Speaker 4: only in the in the third quarter. Well what you're saying,
- 6:29Speaker 4: so that means that the thirty didn't he didn't contribute
- 6:33Speaker 4: because it didn't happen. Now I got to happen at
- 6:35Speaker 4: a certain time. That kind of thing. It's you just
- 6:39Speaker 4: don't like the guy. So we're going to make an effort. Guys, listen,
- 6:43Speaker 4: Nick kenny, let me hold on, hold on mc kenny.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Command you. So when we throw the floor to the
- 6:50Speaker 4: bad producer, we won't cross talk. Okay, we won't try
- 6:55Speaker 4: to talk over him. I will ask him if he finish,
- 7:01Speaker 4: so I throw it to him. He'll talk for the
- 7:05Speaker 4: whole I can't figure out where he is. I'll just
- 7:07Speaker 4: say are you done? Or if not, we don't want
- 7:12Speaker 4: our loyal the whole day we do this, well, we'll
- 7:15Speaker 4: at least this first hour and I don't know if
- 7:17Speaker 4: any of these topics will will it will spurn him
- 7:20Speaker 4: to say something, Well, I have a very important question
- 7:24Speaker 4: to ask you after you. Uh, this is what I
- 7:28Speaker 4: would like to say. I understand that we love our
- 7:32Speaker 4: loyal listeners. They are the lifeblood of this show. And
- 7:35Speaker 4: when they come to us personally, not only do they
- 7:39Speaker 4: come to us personally because we love them and they
- 7:41Speaker 4: are the lifeblood of this show, but if they come
- 7:43Speaker 4: to us personally, that means we know them, and chances
- 7:45Speaker 4: are we respect and admire them and care about how
- 7:49Speaker 4: they feel about what they're doing. I too have had
- 7:52Speaker 4: people who listen to this show say that sometimes we're
- 7:54Speaker 4: too bad on the too hard on the bad producer.
- 7:58Speaker 4: And I've come to the realization and that we just
- 8:01Speaker 4: got to cut ties with them people. We got to
- 8:03Speaker 4: leave them. If they listen to us or not, that's
- 8:06Speaker 4: that we don't if we can't worry about that going forward.
- 8:10Speaker 4: If we lose them listeners, then people are gonna have
- 8:12Speaker 4: to go. I'm still on I'm still hoping you fire
- 8:15Speaker 4: a man. I'm still hoping you fire him. So Uh,
- 8:19Speaker 4: no matter what happens during this first hour. We are
- 8:24Speaker 4: not we just Gonnato the vortext. I'm saying we're gonna
- 8:27Speaker 4: float when when when the vortex come, we just go
- 8:30Speaker 4: at music. We ain't gonna get cutting them off. You
- 8:34Speaker 4: can still give your opinion about whatever he said. So
- 8:36Speaker 4: I'm not saying that the part of the disagreeing or
- 8:40Speaker 4: the bashing has to stop. I'm saying to give him
- 8:43Speaker 4: equal opportunity to get what he needs to say out.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So a sports jock show standing a count, Yes, a little.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Appreciate that because you know a lot of people have
- 8:58Speaker 3: been coming to me and it don't help what the
- 9:00Speaker 3: little promos Greg been doing has been doing lately. Man,
- 9:04Speaker 3: they killing you.
- 9:06Speaker 4: I said, guys, MA, ain't worried about that. But now
- 9:11Speaker 4: I see you talking too fast, big Kenny. See that
- 9:15Speaker 4: was I just I just offered that to you. You
- 9:19Speaker 4: were but too fast. But you don't know that he
- 9:23Speaker 4: was finished, but he not listening, But yeah, so were you?
- 9:29Speaker 4: Are you finished on that? Yeah?
- 9:30Speaker 3: I was just saying that. You know, I appreciate that
- 9:33Speaker 3: because I've had a lot of people coming in. Hey, man,
- 9:35Speaker 3: why that No, man, not worried about that. That's just
- 9:39Speaker 3: just the guys were just kicking it.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Okay, so you've done okay, lies lies. Nobody asked why
- 9:50Speaker 4: do they be hard on you? They understand. They just
- 9:53Speaker 4: feel like, bless his special heart. Y'all ought to give
- 9:56Speaker 4: him some space. They know that we frustrated. You understand
- 10:00Speaker 4: that part while you crying. No, because I'm today, we
- 10:08Speaker 4: got to deal with this. Just I said, we'll leave
- 10:11Speaker 4: give for the first hour and see how it goes.
- 10:14Speaker 4: To let him a sixty Kennedy, I'm just sharing with
- 10:18Speaker 4: you in command. She I went to Florida. It was
- 10:20Speaker 4: my mom's eightieth birthday, had a little dinner for her,
- 10:26Speaker 4: and at dinner it was only about twenty five people,
- 10:30Speaker 4: about five of them. This is in Florida, and some
- 10:33Speaker 4: of these people I didn't even know, you know, like
- 10:36Speaker 4: all you guys tell me, there's a lot of people
- 10:37Speaker 4: who listen. They just don't always send it in some
- 10:41Speaker 4: kind of you know, they don't respond. They might not
- 10:44Speaker 4: send a note or anything. So they put their issue.
- 10:47Speaker 4: And these aren't text messages I'm getting or phone calls.
- 10:50Speaker 4: This is eye to eye in the hand about how
- 10:55Speaker 4: the bad producer need to be stalled out a little
- 10:58Speaker 4: bit because some people need special care teth people. Then
- 11:07Speaker 4: people get a telethon and they and they got a
- 11:10Speaker 4: whole each the Seals program for that. They haven't been
- 11:13Speaker 4: doing that. They haven't been doing that. So now we
- 11:16Speaker 4: just been the we've been. I thought we rolled back
- 11:18Speaker 4: the EI. I thought we rolled that back. Well, we're
- 11:24Speaker 4: having a little grace today, Kenny, all right, thank.
- 11:27Speaker 3: You tribe in Florida.
- 11:29Speaker 4: And I don't know. I don't that's I said. I
- 11:31Speaker 4: don't know if something will come up here in the
- 11:32Speaker 4: first hour that puts him in that mold. I know
- 11:34Speaker 4: there's only two or three trigger words that he gets
- 11:39Speaker 4: upset about. Words like do Lebron, James Drake, things like
- 11:46Speaker 4: that and trigger him to where he just goes there.
- 11:50Speaker 4: So we're gonna hopefully we won't hit anything that sends
- 11:53Speaker 4: him there, but we will give him a moment when
- 11:55Speaker 4: we come back. I feel a lot a lot of
- 12:00Speaker 4: changes in the n C double A Nick fans taking
- 12:02Speaker 4: over uh Philly yesterday, Lakers on the verge of being
- 12:09Speaker 4: a swept, Nike being sued for not getting them refund
- 12:14Speaker 4: checks back, and we got an eighty five year old
- 12:18Speaker 4: Oh got in trouble for giving a compliment that much
- 12:23Speaker 4: more on the Sports Shock Show. When we come back,
- 12:26Speaker 4: come and get the cookie like another butter, but like
- 12:29Speaker 4: just falla la let's sehi Abuhamma, Mama, mama do whatever
- 12:32Speaker 4: for dollar dollar dollars.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Just snag up on my color color color that never.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Get up my number.
- 12:38Speaker 7: John't Bowl, Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with

- 15:08Speaker 8: to the next level.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Chesses. You can cut out of it in Yo. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 4: put it up, Blonde, put it up. Welcome back to
- 15:26Speaker 4: this What Shock Show. I'm this What Shock Wing Candy.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Good morning to you out there and listening land. Glad
- 15:32Speaker 4: to be here with you. The entire crew is here.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Happy belated Mother's Day to those out there. I hope
- 15:38Speaker 4: you had a great day yesterday. We are alive, guys.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I need a couple of answers real quick based on
- 15:45Speaker 4: uh I did not get to see, but is Skip
- 15:47Speaker 4: Bayless back on ESPN first take forever of that just
- 15:53Speaker 4: was a guest appearance that was a guest appearance, scar't appearance.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Skip Bayless back with Stephen A. Smith first off the bat,
- 16:00Speaker 4: from what I read, they went back to the Lebron
- 16:04Speaker 4: James All time less situation. And I've asked you guys
- 16:10Speaker 4: this before. Why is that so commercial? Why can't y'all
- 16:13Speaker 4: get enough of that first and foremost? And why don't
- 16:20Speaker 4: we ever debate any of the other guys? And that an injustice,
- 16:27Speaker 4: like we only debate Lebron place or Lebron to Jordan,
- 16:35Speaker 4: Skip Bailey says he has Lebron at like number nine
- 16:38Speaker 4: or ten on his list right there, tells you you
- 16:42Speaker 4: turn the station because if I'm his producer in his ear,
- 16:46Speaker 4: I'm telling you that, that would mean you're lying. Yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 4: that would mean that you're lying. It's like saying that
- 16:53Speaker 4: Tom Brady is the ninth quarterback. He didn't have to
- 16:56Speaker 4: be number one. But you can't put him that number
- 17:01Speaker 4: nine because who you got I mean, if you got
- 17:04Speaker 4: him at nine, who are the other eight? Right? Some people?
- 17:07Speaker 4: So I wonder why does that have so many so
- 17:09Speaker 4: much legs that he can come back for a special
- 17:12Speaker 4: guest appearance. And they start there because this is something
- 17:16Speaker 4: they would do when he was what it was, it's
- 17:18Speaker 4: been like six seven years. Hold on, yeah, since they
- 17:23Speaker 4: were been like ten years years skill and that was
- 17:28Speaker 4: how they would be ten years ago. So I'm saying,
- 17:30Speaker 4: what is it about that that he jumps like right back?
- 17:34Speaker 4: And I think that's what people expected, like, oh, are
- 17:37Speaker 4: they going to talk about Lebron? How's he going to
- 17:39Speaker 4: hate on Lebron today? What? How's he gonna talk trash
- 17:42Speaker 4: about Lebron today? Because that's that was his stick, yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 4: ten years ago the whole time. Oh god, and he
- 17:49Speaker 4: went right back to it. It's like having the fastball
- 17:52Speaker 4: and it's the greatest hits. Yeah, I'm saying, you know, Luther,
- 17:55Speaker 4: come out. He don't have to sing house is not
- 17:58Speaker 4: at home? You know what I mean? Everybody gonna want
- 18:02Speaker 4: to hear that one and and him and skip. That's
- 18:04Speaker 4: what they now. For me, the fact that you put
- 18:06Speaker 4: him at number nine is what gives people there all
- 18:10Speaker 4: because now they get to argue about who's in front
- 18:13Speaker 4: of and who should have gone behind when if those
- 18:17Speaker 4: people are better than Lebron, then how come you ain't
- 18:20Speaker 4: been talking about them this time? And that's why I
- 18:22Speaker 4: just asked, why haven't we been debating whoever is number seven?
- 18:26Speaker 4: This whole time? Why haven't we been debating who's number five?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Whole bad producer? Who's on the list? I mean, who
- 18:36Speaker 4: does It doesn't matter who's on the list we're talking about.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Why haven't we been debating you?
- 18:40Speaker 7: You?
- 18:40Speaker 4: You said that aggressively sports jot No, because it's like
- 18:44Speaker 4: he didn't hear what I asked you. I said, I
- 18:46Speaker 4: heard what you said. I didn't. I didn't give names.
- 18:49Speaker 4: We weren't talking about the rating. We were talking about.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Why don't we debate the other people versus Jordan?
- 18:58Speaker 3: I can't debate if he's number one. There's no boy
- 19:00Speaker 3: debate with Jordan. If we got if I got him
- 19:02Speaker 3: listed as number one, everybody else is behind him. So
- 19:06Speaker 3: if Lebron is number nine, I need to know who's
- 19:09Speaker 3: the at least eight and seven in front of Lebron
- 19:12Speaker 3: to say whether or not he's ahead of them. That's
- 19:15Speaker 3: I don't know if it's a player from the era
- 19:17Speaker 3: of the eighties or ninety who he has ahead of Lebron.
- 19:20Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying. I mean, there may be a
- 19:22Speaker 3: player that played in the eighties that don't have the
- 19:24Speaker 3: stats to Lebron has but maybe has something else that
- 19:28Speaker 3: the reason why he has him there. But I'm not
- 19:30Speaker 3: gonna just throw him at nine just because of he's there,
- 19:36Speaker 3: but he has my top ten list until you finish,
- 19:42Speaker 3: until you say I'm retired, I'm through, then we'll put
- 19:44Speaker 3: you in there.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Finished. This is weird. Yeah, okay, that's how we feel.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I mean, because that's what you did it ag again,
- 20:00Speaker 4: you took You're on a whole nother You're not actually
- 20:03Speaker 4: hearing what I'm talking about, and you're having a conversation
- 20:07Speaker 4: about what you want to talk about. We're talking about
- 20:10Speaker 4: all time ten. I wasn't talking about Skip Bayless is
- 20:14Speaker 4: all time ten? I asked why if Lebron's nine, we
- 20:19Speaker 4: haven't been debating the people in front of Lebron towards
- 20:26Speaker 4: who's the best? Why are we only debating the nine slot?
- 20:36Speaker 4: He's that? How mean?
- 20:39Speaker 3: Never mind he's there. I'm just saying he's They put
- 20:43Speaker 3: him there at nine? Skip put him there? Is that
- 20:46Speaker 3: who you wanted to debate? Whether you don't want us
- 20:48Speaker 3: to talk about Lebron and he's.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Active, why doesn't he debate who's number five versus Jordan?
- 20:54Speaker 4: Have you heard anybody debate anything really versus Jordan in
- 20:59Speaker 4: a consistent conversation. They used to Kobe at.
- 21:03Speaker 3: One point in time before Lebron came in the league,
- 21:07Speaker 3: but before that.
- 21:08Speaker 4: No, okay, but you do know the biggest bait debate
- 21:13Speaker 4: in sports history has been Jordan versus Lebron. You do
- 21:18Speaker 4: know that, right?
- 21:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's most definitely it's manufactured to me that debate.
- 21:28Speaker 3: This shouldn't even be really that much of a debate
- 21:32Speaker 3: until the young man's finished his career.
- 21:34Speaker 4: He's finished his career. See this is when the people
- 21:37Speaker 4: in the audience out there listening. Once you played twenty
- 21:41Speaker 4: three years, you've already played your time. What you think
- 21:48Speaker 4: he's gonna do in the next even if he stay
- 21:50Speaker 4: another four years, how do.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You think if he could have if he had a
- 21:56Speaker 3: little bit more help with what was instead of almost
- 21:59Speaker 3: about the get sweet it's a possibility a little.
- 22:05Speaker 4: More help like what cryogenics like the Fountain of You.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Nobody bother time, and nothing's going to change anybody opinion.
- 22:16Speaker 4: He's not going to jump from nine to one.
- 22:20Speaker 3: If they would be okay, See, if they would be okay, he.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Doesn't need another ring and the bad producer let me
- 22:27Speaker 4: say this, nothing about rings or this. If he had,
- 22:30Speaker 4: if he had seven rings, you would have found an
- 22:33Speaker 4: angle to still it wasn't seven in a row. And
- 22:38Speaker 4: you're talking about getting them help. Two things. Two things
- 22:41Speaker 4: are true in entertainment and sports. One, when Keith Richards
- 22:45Speaker 4: have a birthday, he shocked. He ain't expecting it. It
- 22:49Speaker 4: surprised him. And when Lebron James hit triple doubles steal
- 22:54Speaker 4: at this age, he shocked. Lebron go home like, I
- 22:57Speaker 4: can't believe I still did this. Them people thinking that
- 23:01Speaker 4: this is effortless for me, and I'm forty years old
- 23:05Speaker 4: and it's getting harder and harder for me. I'm playing
- 23:08Speaker 4: with my son, he and his second third season. And
- 23:12Speaker 4: here's a tidbit, and we'll move on for this because
- 23:14Speaker 4: I didn't mean to stay on. Here's a tidbit for
- 23:16Speaker 4: you and anybody that kind of runs in the same
- 23:20Speaker 4: herd that you do, bad producer. When somebody is the
- 23:25Speaker 4: all time leading something, then they have to be in
- 23:32Speaker 4: the debate, no matter who their name is. In ten years,
- 23:38Speaker 4: if some young man that we don't know is the
- 23:42Speaker 4: all time assists leader, whoever, the greatest assists person in
- 23:49Speaker 4: your mind, you can't say it's not debatable that the
- 23:56Speaker 4: person who has the record is not in the conversation.
- 24:05Speaker 4: You can't do that. So for you to make it
- 24:08Speaker 4: seem like Lebron James, who's the all time leading scorer,
- 24:12Speaker 4: shouldn't be in the conversation with debating whether he is
- 24:16Speaker 4: the greatest of all time, then that lets people know that,
- 24:20Speaker 4: like Greg said, you can't change people. Mind, you're being emotional.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Whoever has the most receiving yards right now, right when
- 24:32Speaker 4: he gets surpassed, You can't go and be like, well
- 24:35Speaker 4: that guy can't be greater than Jerry Rice. Well I
- 24:39Speaker 4: got more touchdowns than Jerry Rice, So what do you mean,
- 24:43Speaker 4: got more yards than Jerry Rice playing the same game,
- 24:47Speaker 4: playing the same game, and I'm better because then you
- 24:49Speaker 4: go to tell my eras se and that's the thing
- 24:53Speaker 4: we're talking about. So I was just wondering, understand, it
- 25:01Speaker 4: wasn't about a debate about whether Lebron in the list.
- 25:05Speaker 4: I was talking about, why aren't we ever having conversations
- 25:09Speaker 4: about Skip himself, having conversations about all the people that
- 25:14Speaker 4: he has in front of Lebron. Broadcasting is starting to
- 25:18Speaker 4: sound like wrestling. Now everybody's got their script. Nobody's wanting
- 25:23Speaker 4: to talk about what they actually seeing in front of them.
- 25:27Speaker 4: You really get me to believe, you really want me
- 25:31Speaker 4: to believe Lebron is nine anywhere in the NBA that
- 25:35Speaker 4: I want to know who number three? Who is that guy?
- 25:40Speaker 4: And why don't I know who he is? That's that's
- 25:43Speaker 4: why I said, I said, why don't we debate who three?
- 25:46Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 25:46Speaker 4: Why don't we debate? But why do we debate like
- 25:52Speaker 4: Jordan only he's lucky number three retired early? I mean,
- 25:56Speaker 4: why don't we ever hear about that person? It's he's
- 26:00Speaker 4: only Lebron because he's more polarizing. Two people. We'll be
- 26:04Speaker 4: back more to sports talk show right after this.
- 26:07Speaker 13: No, I'm never Chase Brand, Chase the vision, make you
- 26:12Speaker 13: word when you say it?
- 26:12Speaker 4: Be the business. No, kept God, I'm a Whitney success.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Feel better independent, don't go away.
- 26:21Speaker 7: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gantidius coming
- 26:24Speaker 7: up next.
- 26:26Speaker 14: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 26:29Speaker 14: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 26:33Speaker 14: us kids and our cell phones? Distracted driving was the
- 26:36Speaker 14: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 26:42Speaker 14: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.
- 26:45Speaker 14: Drive safe, everybody.

- 28:37Speaker 4: the razo.
- 28:41Speaker 17: Last time that I check Jack, it was fine, shine
- 28:44Speaker 17: on my neck, it.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Was no smut on my bret.
- 28:46Speaker 13: Last time that I check sent sent a set in
- 28:49Speaker 13: the Senate quartermell no.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Sweat last time.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Check from Miss.
- 28:53Speaker 9: Street's voice Southwest, Let's darry.
- 28:55Speaker 13: Soel my procrest last time, and chat Fir spent the money,
- 28:59Speaker 13: the respect and the doing come tax last time.
- 29:02Speaker 4: What makes it this? What shock?
- 29:03Speaker 1: Shock?
- 29:04Speaker 4: This what shock Wayne Gandy, who's the best center all
- 29:07Speaker 4: time in the NFL, the dream NFL you listen. I
- 29:16Speaker 4: did that because you don't listen, and I forgot. I
- 29:20Speaker 4: give him grace. He doesn't listen because I said the
- 29:22Speaker 4: NFL man, he said the dream. I was thinking about
- 29:26Speaker 4: the basketball still. He was talking with basketball just now.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I mean, all of the loyal listeners write this down.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Some of the reason that we become frustrated because the
- 29:40Speaker 4: way that we're being painted is that we just come
- 29:43Speaker 4: in here angry, waiting for him to come through to
- 29:46Speaker 4: take his lunch money. And that's not what it is.
- 29:50Speaker 5: No.
- 29:50Speaker 4: No, we be sitting around hoping, just hoping to have
- 29:56Speaker 4: a decent meal, and Denny, here you come, and you
- 29:59Speaker 4: ain't got a straw for your juice box, and now
- 30:03Speaker 4: everybody else's lunch is upset. You unprepared. So that's part
- 30:10Speaker 4: of our frustration. But we digress. We digressed, We're gonna
- 30:14Speaker 4: move forward. I said, the best center in the NFL,
- 30:19Speaker 4: which is the national foot Yeah, I said, no, not not.
- 30:25Speaker 4: We We all the three of us, we knew from
- 30:29Speaker 4: the beginning you were not listening, and knowing and listening
- 30:35Speaker 4: are two different exercises. So you got voted off the
- 30:40Speaker 4: island this week in this weird game, you got killed
- 30:46Speaker 4: red light, green light, you heard the other color. Now
- 30:50Speaker 4: you're dead. And if we were all so, do you
- 30:54Speaker 4: have an answer for that? Because you was quick? Who's
- 30:57Speaker 4: the greatest center in NFL history? Do you know more
- 31:05Speaker 4: than two centers in the NFL history? Oh? I know
- 31:08Speaker 4: that didn't play for the Falcons. I know just Saturday
- 31:14Speaker 4: and you got my man.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Hold on, give me a second, the guy that relaxed
- 31:27Speaker 3: besides the Falcon sellers.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Just Saturday. So once again, to our loyal listeners out there,
- 31:38Speaker 4: you wanted me to work with a man who is
- 31:40Speaker 4: handicapped in his ability to have knowledge beyond the things
- 31:45Speaker 4: that he likes. He doesn't consider. He's not open for actual,
- 31:52Speaker 4: true debate because he only has the things in people
- 31:56Speaker 4: he likes and keeps up with them. He has no
- 32:01Speaker 4: interest further than that moment in time. He can't consider
- 32:09Speaker 4: anyone else because he doesn't have any information. One hundred
- 32:16Speaker 4: plus years of NFL football. He named one sinner, but
- 32:23Speaker 4: he'll tell you he's a football fan. I took one
- 32:28Speaker 4: thing away from him, the Falcons, and he can only
- 32:34Speaker 4: name it's thirty one on the teams and it's been
- 32:37Speaker 4: a hundred plus years. He's hem up with Jeff Saturday.
- 32:43Speaker 4: Maybe he had never even seen Jeff Saturday play. He's
- 32:45Speaker 4: just seen him commentake. No, he's a target. This is
- 32:48Speaker 4: how thank you and thank you he follows North Carolina.
- 32:59Speaker 4: You hit center on your own targets. You pushed your
- 33:04Speaker 4: own button from side to our loyal listeners. Write that
- 33:11Speaker 4: down just things is because I just got a text.
- 33:14Speaker 4: Oh man, thank you for taking it easy on. I'm trying,
- 33:18Speaker 4: but I'm just trying to show y'all what I'm working with.
- 33:21Speaker 4: I got a text. That's it that it's hard to
- 33:24Speaker 4: work with a bias person. Yes, in any field of life,
- 33:30Speaker 4: the person is biased North Carolina. The people he liked,
- 33:37Speaker 4: that's it. They the best. I don't know, that's how
- 33:43Speaker 4: he works. I think it's funny that. I think it's
- 33:47Speaker 4: funny that he said he wasn't like that and then
- 33:49Speaker 4: proved that he was exactly in the same sentence, speaking
- 33:55Speaker 4: of you, n C professor up in North Carolina wants
- 34:00Speaker 4: Bill Belichick to rain ends that North Carolina has a
- 34:06Speaker 4: lot of players is getting speeding tickets and also a
- 34:11Speaker 4: lot of people having complaining about the parking, the parking complaints.
- 34:15Speaker 4: I guess they're doing kind of like the guys were
- 34:17Speaker 4: doing in Colororado, just parking their cars and willing to
- 34:21Speaker 4: pay the fine, pay the twenty twenty five dollar parking?
- 34:26Speaker 4: Is that Belichick's fault? Is that Nil's fault? Yeah? I
- 34:29Speaker 4: don't know how you got around the Belichick and how
- 34:32Speaker 4: you responsible for me buying a rolls rice? I mean,
- 34:37Speaker 4: you know, And that's what it did? He I say,
- 34:43Speaker 4: who gonna stop me? Booing?
- 34:44Speaker 1: It?
- 34:44Speaker 4: Came here with it? That's what I'm saying. Who gonna
- 34:47Speaker 4: stop me? When I said I would, when I committed,
- 34:50Speaker 4: they started doing all of my NIL stuff. Then, So
- 34:53Speaker 4: by the time I hit campus, whatever I decided to
- 34:56Speaker 4: bring the campus to drive, I'm in it. Whoever I am.
- 35:00Speaker 4: By the time I hit campus, I'm forming into that
- 35:03Speaker 4: person already. And if I got a couple of hundred
- 35:05Speaker 4: to stop to drop on some parking tickets, what the
- 35:09Speaker 4: coach gonna tell me? Bill? What you gonna tell me? Bill?
- 35:13Speaker 4: Could you could you just not not park illegally? At
- 35:17Speaker 4: least a couple of days a week? I have an assistant, Well,
- 35:20Speaker 4: it's actually my brother email my email my brother and
- 35:25Speaker 4: he'll tell me to what you said. But I'm I'm
- 35:28Speaker 4: really busy right now. Who was the kid in Georgia
- 35:31Speaker 4: got arrested two days before the draft and went in
- 35:33Speaker 4: the second round. Just signed fifty four million uh the
- 35:37Speaker 4: wide receiver wide receivers. The Carrus branch, Zachariah branch, branch,
- 35:43Speaker 4: that right branch. He parked illegally. Cop says something to him.
- 35:46Speaker 4: He told a cop get a cup of coffee or something,
- 35:49Speaker 4: and you know, he still went. So what do you
- 35:52Speaker 4: think they're gonna tell these people? I mean, they can
- 35:56Speaker 4: at least all they can do is say, hey, could
- 35:58Speaker 4: you not do that it? Could you not park? Their
- 36:03Speaker 4: campus security keep saying that, and they that's as far
- 36:07Speaker 4: as they go. And that's all I'm saying. They won't
- 36:10Speaker 4: listen to the actual police. The coaches is mute. The
- 36:13Speaker 4: World Cup is invading a lot of cities, and we've
- 36:17Speaker 4: talked several times about the World Cup, and a lot
- 36:21Speaker 4: of people are first and foremost having an issue with
- 36:24Speaker 4: the pricing of the tickets. All I can offer in
- 36:29Speaker 4: that is the idea, especially for US Americans that have
- 36:35Speaker 4: an issue with the World Cup. I mean, with the
- 36:39Speaker 4: pricing would be that it says world, so that means
- 36:44Speaker 4: the world is coming for a sport that is more
- 36:49Speaker 4: fanatical outside of the US, and those people just like
- 36:58Speaker 4: you might gear up for football season or your tailgates
- 37:02Speaker 4: or any and all of that kind of stuff. That's
- 37:06Speaker 4: how they have geared up and pushed their chips that
- 37:10Speaker 4: we're going to go all out for our team each
- 37:14Speaker 4: and every round, whether that be here that we're going
- 37:18Speaker 4: to be here for five days or we're going to
- 37:21Speaker 4: be here for three weeks. We have been storing up
- 37:25Speaker 4: and say this experience. We got the credit cards paid down,
- 37:30Speaker 4: we did all of those things. And we're talking about
- 37:32Speaker 4: the world, Craig, the world, not just the United States,
- 37:37Speaker 4: and people are going to come and they're willing. I
- 37:40Speaker 4: saw that one article said they had a pair of
- 37:42Speaker 4: tickets for like the final going for like a million apiece.
- 37:49Speaker 4: And this is the thing, this is the thing on
- 37:51Speaker 4: top of don't use us sensibilities and an occasion that's
- 37:57Speaker 4: for the world. We'll seeven the super isn't. It's broadcast worldwide.
- 38:04Speaker 4: But I don't know that the frenzy of it right,
- 38:07Speaker 4: and I think those people to it, like the world Cup.
- 38:11Speaker 4: It's kind of like the Olympics. People are going those
- 38:15Speaker 4: moments in time. And part of I think what people's
- 38:21Speaker 4: issue has been is in addition to the tickets being
- 38:25Speaker 4: over sold, you've got the ancillary activities around it being
- 38:30Speaker 4: too expensive. Like here we've had super hosted Super Bowl
- 38:34Speaker 4: in Atlanta, and if you couldn't go to the game,
- 38:36Speaker 4: you could go to a sports bar, you could go
- 38:38Speaker 4: to some sort of watch party. Even those things are
- 38:42Speaker 4: being outpriced by the American standard. So there's a lot
- 38:47Speaker 4: of American citizens feel like we don't have any well,
- 38:50Speaker 4: we don't have any opportunity. Well we enjoy this up clote.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Well we think because it's on our soul here, we
- 38:57Speaker 3: should have the same type of outlook on all other
- 39:03Speaker 3: sports activities. But just my World Cup experience from like
- 39:07Speaker 3: years past, want to really realized it was crazy. Was
- 39:10Speaker 3: like when one time somebody we're having a World Cup
- 39:12Speaker 3: watch party. Yeah, be at the house at three in
- 39:14Speaker 3: the morning because it's like their team was playing, right
- 39:18Speaker 3: and it's at that time, and you realize that there's
- 39:21Speaker 3: they actually if your team, their team is playing at
- 39:24Speaker 3: that time.
- 39:24Speaker 4: They set up ready and they when they announced a
- 39:29Speaker 4: lot of this stuff. It was in the middle of
- 39:31Speaker 4: the night and people were up in the middle of
- 39:33Speaker 4: the night having watched parties. But I'm saying for the
- 39:35Speaker 4: American sensibility, it's that's still going to carry into this event.
- 39:40Speaker 4: If we can't even afford to go to a sports
- 39:43Speaker 4: bar and get a picture of beer and watch it,
- 39:46Speaker 4: it's already not our favorite sport. Are you going to
- 39:49Speaker 4: further alienate the American audience? But when you're talking about
- 39:53Speaker 4: a windfall of marketing, ticket sales and all of that,
- 39:58Speaker 4: who's gonna give up the written their Airbnb for eight
- 40:03Speaker 4: thousand dollars a week instead of one thousand dollars a week.
- 40:06Speaker 4: And we'll be back more to Sports Chalk Show right
- 40:08Speaker 4: after this as clips of John't bowl Wayne.
- 40:24Speaker 7: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dante is

- 42:31Speaker 4: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 42:44Speaker 21: Besween between all lock on so you can see the
- 42:58Speaker 21: sports joint I'll see even.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Walking back to this what shock show? I'm in this
- 43:04Speaker 4: what shock? Wayne Gandy. The n C Double A Tournament
- 43:07Speaker 4: has decided to expand to seventy six teams. No, you
- 43:15Speaker 4: called it the big Dance? What is it now? Because
- 43:19Speaker 4: it's bigger than a dance. It's a kickback. It ain't
- 43:24Speaker 4: now that many people allowed to come. It's just a kickback.
- 43:28Speaker 4: It ain't a dance no more. Is it just we're
- 43:31Speaker 4: the we're seeing just that old adage of money is
- 43:36Speaker 4: the root? What else? What else? Could it's at the
- 43:40Speaker 4: opportunity to make more. I mean, it's a if they
- 43:43Speaker 4: make billions every tournament, and there's always the conversation of
- 43:51Speaker 4: who got in, who didn't get in, And I think
- 43:54Speaker 4: it's to get more more the Power Conference teams in
- 43:59Speaker 4: that at least have a a decent record, so that
- 44:02Speaker 4: and then not it might be trying to squeeze it.
- 44:06Speaker 4: So they're going to eliminate the n I T. Or
- 44:09Speaker 4: we're still gonna have that. Also, that's you know, if
- 44:12Speaker 4: you still have that, that's a separate thing. That's a
- 44:15Speaker 4: totally separate tournament. Well, so.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Separate those twelve teams that supposedly didn't make it. They're
- 44:23Speaker 3: supposedly that good. That's gonna make that tournament weak. I mean,
- 44:26Speaker 3: well when't it? Actually it would start making teams and colleges. Way,
- 44:33Speaker 3: should I go to the n I T. That's what
- 44:36Speaker 3: I'm Should I be in one of these play in
- 44:38Speaker 3: for the n C double A game, because that's most
- 44:41Speaker 3: likely what they're going to do.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Yeah, there's still there's still the opportunity. I mean, it
- 44:44Speaker 4: wouldn't It would make the n I T weaker, but
- 44:47Speaker 4: it's still going to exist. I don't think that's going
- 44:51Speaker 4: to like no, And that's what I'm saying. Do I
- 44:54Speaker 4: want to be team number seventy or do I select
- 44:58Speaker 4: you if I want to, you know, see two for
- 45:01Speaker 4: the n i T. Yeah, we because if I'm I'm
- 45:04Speaker 4: probably one of those one game well they're all one games,
- 45:08Speaker 4: and I'm probably in the n I T.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I got guaranteed two games at home, no revenue, So
- 45:14Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know. I mean it's yeah, but
- 45:17Speaker 3: that's for a National Tournament game.
- 45:19Speaker 4: What do they call it? First in the first four?
- 45:23Speaker 4: By first, I don't know what it's gonna be called
- 45:25Speaker 4: now because now it's first twelve and this is they
- 45:29Speaker 4: that's gonna it has to be something like that, right,
- 45:31Speaker 4: because this is in my opinion, this is just an
- 45:36Speaker 4: advent of the fact that we got to pay these athletes,
- 45:39Speaker 4: and we got to find a way to generate income
- 45:42Speaker 4: to pay these get some money. And if we don't
- 45:45Speaker 4: have the income to pay these athletes, they'll go somewhere
- 45:47Speaker 4: else in our program is going to have to shut down.
- 45:50Speaker 4: So if you want to keep the sport alive, but
- 45:53Speaker 4: we're gonna have to have an opportunity to make some
- 45:56Speaker 4: of this money. And I will say this, but as
- 45:59Speaker 4: you span things and that things run longer, I start
- 46:06Speaker 4: waiting a little longer for I start tuning in. I
- 46:10Speaker 4: don't even care anybody. I don't. I haven't watched one
- 46:14Speaker 4: of those first four games yet. Ever, Ever, y'all figure
- 46:20Speaker 4: that out, and then I'll see y'all Thursday, whin the dance.
- 46:24Speaker 4: That's really how I've watched. They haven't pulled me in
- 46:27Speaker 4: with that yet. You and a lot a lot you
- 46:31Speaker 4: know how it was the sixty four and then they
- 46:34Speaker 4: started that first fourth things. Listen, I haven't watched Monday Tuesday.
- 46:41Speaker 4: A casual fan don't really get interested till sweet sixteen. See,
- 46:47Speaker 4: but loom serious until you start hearing that sweet sixteen,
- 46:50Speaker 4: the casual fans not even engaged. So now you want
- 46:52Speaker 4: to take that out another How many seventeen teams are
- 46:56Speaker 4: they trying to add? How many had to add that?
- 46:58Speaker 4: Now eight? Add another eight, another eight team to make
- 47:03Speaker 4: that's another four games at least, and to bring the
- 47:06Speaker 4: total to seven six six. How many teams are in
- 47:10Speaker 4: college basketball? That's a one thirty, Yeah, one thirty. We're
- 47:15Speaker 4: over half over half in d D one tournament, over
- 47:20Speaker 4: half over half. Yes, I have to say, Indiana high
- 47:24Speaker 4: school basketball, we got to have received school made tournament.
- 47:28Speaker 4: I'm saying, why do we have to have a tournament
- 47:31Speaker 4: if over half of the teams can make it well?
- 47:34Speaker 4: And it's the same name. Me and Bava Duca, we
- 47:37Speaker 4: don't like about the Bowl. One of the few things
- 47:39Speaker 4: we do agree on is the whole Bowl thing. Like
- 47:42Speaker 4: when you we've almost gotten up to fifty games fifty
- 47:47Speaker 4: times too, so that means and none of them are
- 47:50Speaker 4: an almost one hundred teams are going to the bowls
- 47:53Speaker 4: And back to what you were saying, like the sixty four.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Myself, I know a lot of people we stopped doing
- 47:59Speaker 3: the brack because it became crazy. You have to get
- 48:04Speaker 3: your bracket in. Some people had, oh, we're doing the bracket,
- 48:06Speaker 3: but you got to pick the four play in. I
- 48:07Speaker 3: don't worry about the four playing. I'm gonna pick my
- 48:10Speaker 3: bracket here, just whoever get there with.
- 48:13Speaker 4: And it turns into and it's not always like the
- 48:17Speaker 4: you know, okay, the sixteen, it's not like these four
- 48:21Speaker 4: these four teams are all sixteen seeds, like what it's
- 48:24Speaker 4: two six These are sixteen seeds, these are le seven seeds,
- 48:28Speaker 4: these are I don't know how they even determine even
- 48:32Speaker 4: more jumbled?
- 48:33Speaker 3: Yeah, how you going to determine if you got me
- 48:34Speaker 3: as a five seed going to play a play in
- 48:37Speaker 3: and with against a twelve?
- 48:38Speaker 4: And those are those are fan concerned, organizational concerns. Only
- 48:46Speaker 4: want to ensure that we can generate some income. But
- 48:50Speaker 4: those those those teams in the first four, that's not
- 48:53Speaker 4: like the sixty five to sixty eight ranked teams. I
- 49:00Speaker 4: get all that, I get all it, so, but do
- 49:02Speaker 4: you know how much do we generate in TV revenue
- 49:06Speaker 4: when we And that's what I'm saying. None of the
- 49:09Speaker 4: interest in how many fans can travel to it and
- 49:12Speaker 4: what it means to us and the fact that it's
- 49:15Speaker 4: been watered down means anything to them. But I think
- 49:19Speaker 4: the danger if I'm in the board meeting is to
- 49:23Speaker 4: go out and watch other companies, because that's what you
- 49:26Speaker 4: always have been a company, right, And tons of companies
- 49:32Speaker 4: have had to reconsolidate based on you put too many
- 49:38Speaker 4: Starbucks out and now we got too many. It's not
- 49:42Speaker 4: the product, it's just we got too many of Star
- 49:47Speaker 4: Street Starbucks. We put too many food items on the menu.
- 49:53Speaker 4: We have a burger place and now were serving uh
- 49:57Speaker 4: chicken wings and talking to far with rib We went
- 50:01Speaker 4: too far with the flavors of the coke right there,
- 50:05Speaker 4: there's a point where you have expanded, like it was
- 50:07Speaker 4: it's a great idea within these three, but you have
- 50:11Speaker 4: moved it to Mulberry coke and now we're starting we're
- 50:17Speaker 4: not selling any of that. I never had Mulberry anything
- 50:22Speaker 4: mixed with Coca Cola's who's in charge here? And that's
- 50:26Speaker 4: where I with I think with any expansion, I think
- 50:29Speaker 4: that's what the when I say with the WNBA, slow down.
- 50:34Speaker 22: Now.
- 50:36Speaker 4: You know, it seems like as soon as you had
- 50:38Speaker 4: a spark you started adding more teams. Some of your
- 50:41Speaker 4: success came from that you had consolidated and that the
- 50:45Speaker 4: twelve fourteen teams you had all seemed like all star teams.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Now you're gonna thin that talent out and you don't
- 50:55Speaker 4: have a face on the Portland comments or the because
- 51:00Speaker 4: that's what you really loved about. When the Liberty goes
- 51:04Speaker 4: and takes on the dream, I got the top five
- 51:12Speaker 4: picks of the last draft, like it's that kind of
- 51:14Speaker 4: all star game. That's you start watering that out further
- 51:18Speaker 4: and further, you could have a problem the NFL suffers
- 51:23Speaker 4: from that from things like the quarterback position. Not that
- 51:26Speaker 4: the thirty two teams don't exist, but we don't have
- 51:30Speaker 4: thirty two quarterbacks, not thirty two A one quarterbacks now,
- 51:38Speaker 4: but we don't have thirty two quarterbacks, but the number one,
- 51:40Speaker 4: not thirty two quarterbacks. That everybody starts the season thinking, man,
- 51:45Speaker 4: we got the I got demand. But the guy who
- 51:48Speaker 4: they don't all think they have a quarterback, but ten
- 51:52Speaker 4: of them, no, they don't have, and nothing back here
- 51:55Speaker 4: to stir up in his kitchen right now. And everybody
- 51:57Speaker 4: who has somebody got to pay him. So even the
- 52:00Speaker 4: bum guy's got to get some money, to get somebody,
- 52:02Speaker 4: to get some good money. And that's how man kirk
- 52:05Speaker 4: Cousin bliss. No, kirk Cousin just works, and he works
- 52:10Speaker 4: in an occupation where there's fourteen desperate people at all times.
- 52:18Speaker 4: He saw the market. That's how the draft. Now you
- 52:22Speaker 4: don't be having confidence that he is the man, but
- 52:26Speaker 4: he's the only choice we got. And the you know,
- 52:30Speaker 4: going up seventy six, and we'll talking about on the
- 52:32Speaker 4: other side of the break, College looking to expand the
- 52:36Speaker 4: playoffs to twenty four teams. Man, we well y'all jumped fast.
- 52:40Speaker 4: We were just at four and now y'all talking about
- 52:43Speaker 4: doing twenty fourteen. All right, now we just put We'll
- 52:48Speaker 4: be back right after this. I don't know what, John
- 52:59Speaker 4: boy Way.

- 56:46Speaker 4: Big Kenny, command you Greg and the building we were
- 56:51Speaker 4: talking about if you missed. We've had some technical difficulties,
- 56:56Speaker 4: but we're back. We are live here. It is Monday,
- 57:00Speaker 4: happy with lated Mother's Day. We were talking if you
- 57:04Speaker 4: missed there, and you can hear some of that in
- 57:06Speaker 4: that first hour about the World Cup. A lot of
- 57:11Speaker 4: the articles as it gets closer is about the ticket
- 57:14Speaker 4: pricing and we in all levels we've also talked about
- 57:19Speaker 4: like even in the New Jersey era area they are
- 57:24Speaker 4: charging like one point fifty one seventy five for train rides.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Mister Blank here, who owns the Atlanta United and the
- 57:33Speaker 4: Falcons and Arthur Blank Industries here is trying to comfort
- 57:38Speaker 4: the fans that he's going to consistently and keep stay
- 57:44Speaker 4: consistent and keep his pricing of the concessions right. He
- 57:50Speaker 4: still believes that, like you're doing all the you know,
- 57:53Speaker 4: as far as paying for tickets and travel and all
- 57:56Speaker 4: that these, you should come to the game and we
- 57:58Speaker 4: have the basic hot dog popcorn drink for just basically
- 58:04Speaker 4: at cost. That's what he's given it to you. In
- 58:06Speaker 4: a sense, Now you get in there and you want
- 58:10Speaker 4: some hot and spicy snail because they don't have it,
- 58:17Speaker 4: they will have it. Don't think it won't be available
- 58:19Speaker 4: now World Craig, remember, but maybe not. Maybe not the
- 58:25Speaker 4: Atlanta uh And matches not in Atlanta. You probably had
- 58:30Speaker 4: to go to Missego or let me explain something to you.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Since the Olympics have come to Atlanta is a premier
- 58:41Speaker 4: destination spot for travel. One of the things that people
- 58:45Speaker 4: love about this city is they offer you top shelf
- 58:48Speaker 4: everything at the premier events. Don't think that right over
- 58:52Speaker 4: there at the Bends they ain't gonna have in one
- 58:55Speaker 4: of them little glass clubs where you see people walk
- 58:57Speaker 4: out the tunnel. Don't think they won't have some icy snail. Fact,
- 59:02Speaker 4: they gonna have it at I'm telling you now, they're
- 59:05Speaker 4: gonna have to get somebody in there to check it out.
- 59:08Speaker 1: They have it.
- 59:09Speaker 4: They're gonna have it all. No I would try to spicy.
- 59:13Speaker 4: It's gonna make my stomach hurt. Isn't that funny? It's
- 59:19Speaker 4: the black pepper that he's got a problem with. The
- 59:23Speaker 4: Knicks have blown up here in the last two weeks,
- 59:27Speaker 4: destroying uh the Atlanta Hawks and then riding that wave
- 59:34Speaker 4: to destroy the seventy six ers after the game, and
- 59:39Speaker 4: if you watch the game, you heard a lot of
- 59:41Speaker 4: Nicks and Joelabe tried to call the fans out for
- 59:48Speaker 4: Philly not to sell the tickets before the series. And
- 59:53Speaker 4: the only thing about that, Joel, and the only thing
- 59:57Speaker 4: about those teams. See, in the last two decades, two
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: and a half decades, what a lot of you have
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: missed is the migration of the New Yorker, of the
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: Cowboy fan, of the Steeler fan. These people already live
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: in your neighborhood. See when you talk about games for
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: certain teams. Yes, there are very few Chiefs fans wherever
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: you're living right now. So when the Chiefs come to
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: your city, they do have to come from Missouri. As
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: big as names as Patrick and Kelsey and Andy Reid
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: and all that winning. They've done the same thing with
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: the Golden State Warriors. For all that winning, they are
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: still a small market as far as universal fans. Yes,
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: the Nick fan in the NBA is like the Laker.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: They are just waiting on the Lakers to come to
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: your town. They're already there. Yeah. What was that movie
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: Tom Cruise did a couple of years ago where the
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: lightning hit the ground and the uh what was it
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: called The End of the Days or the World War? Okay,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: the War the war the worlds, Remember, they were already
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: in the ground and yeah, and then they started. The
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: lightning just woke them up. That's how the Nick fan
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: is everywhere. They just need to already in San Antonio.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: They don't even have to have lived in Philadelphia. They
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: could just take a train from They was already and
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: they already there. They're there there there. Yeah, there are
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: some that just took the train there. They already lived there.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: That's one Joel see. Joel was still thinking in Philly,
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: the people going to catch the train down. Yeah, he
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: didn't know they live in the building. Now you live
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: right next to this.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Arena Cherry Hills Candle.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: But they're just But there was a significant amount of
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: because I guess people knew the billing address. For the
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: people who got tickets. There was a lot from New York,
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: so he got about the ticket. There was nothing he
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: could do either way. There's nothing he could do. Well,
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: what if the Philly fans say, you show up and
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: play The cowboy fan already lives in Atlanta. The Cowboys
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: just have to come here. Yeah, you're thinking, man, a
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: lot of people travel from Dallas. No, they did not,
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: They just came. It was in Smyrna. Yeah, living right there,
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: stop Bridge. Yeah, it's a whole bunch of them on
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: my street. Cowboy fan, you're correct the house, but they
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: don't know it yet because and the Nick fan is
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: the same way, the Laker fan is the same way
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: is because most of us travel, most most fan base
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: have to travel. But these teams, you know a great
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: percentage of the Atlantic population was built by the New Yorker.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: They moved here twenty years ago in the groves, three four,
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: five hundred thousand of them. Yo, yo yo.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: They got the houses cheap, yo, they got rich.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: I think that's some kind of appropriation. I don't cultural
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: appropriate doing that, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo yo yo.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: That's my fuck. That is that is that inappropriation stereotypes
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: because every time because every time New Yorkers go, y'all,
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: I'm from North Caroline of Fame and gets he gets mad. Yo,
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: that's just mad. Everything outside New York you mad, country, yo,
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: you mad? Everything outside New York is the country from
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: you from my duke, what's outside of every city is country,
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: you said, that's how New Yorkers look at like it
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: could be Philadelphia. They call That's what I'm saying told
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: about he from Charlotte. That's mad country, Yo, country, just
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: messing with you. I just know you would get mad
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: if someone from New York was out of New York
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: radio and they start doing a North Carolina voice and
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: calling it country. Your sensitive will sound like that will
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: sound like that on Jesus Christ on somebody. Yeah, I
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: can say, because we want to fight commit he thought
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: I was gonna say, but I found it. I found
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: the loopole. We've been talking about loopholes late, question the law.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: But Nick fans taking over the seventy six or and
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: the seventy six ers laying down for the Knicks getting
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: swept four. Oh, the Knicks are just in high gear
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: right now. And with this Cleveland Detroit series looking like
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: it's going to go at least probably to Saturday, that
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: gives o g and Anobi time to rest. That gives
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: everybody time. So the Knicks I not played that Eastern
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: Conference final game till maybe next Monday, and they'll be rested.
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: Yeah and so, and then they'll be that they have
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: well if Detroit wins, though have to go to Detroit,
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: but they can just stay it. Well, I'm saying rested,
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: and I get to sit here and watch you and
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: live action, and Bronson get the call for the Spicy Snails,
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: and we're just gonna sit here and watch the game live.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: We're not even gonna have to do film study in
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: a dark room. We're just gonna kill up the four
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: hundred inch TV that big cat got in his house. Yeah,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: and just watch it. Have the family over here to
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: be a little festive event. Everybody'd be like, you know,
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: watching especially you know in the NFL, sometimes we were
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: able to if the game was on Thursday and it
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: was an opponent we were gonna play next week, or
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Monday night was always the best a group of us
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: would always because we could get a jump on film study.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: We could knock out Wednesday's film study right here Monday
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: night watching this game in live action, and we would,
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: like the old line would get together and we're watching.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: We can get some of this in right now. That's
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: what they're gonna be able to do for the next
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: two games. Minimum is watch these teams play. And the
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Knicks have been winning aggressively too, like beating you up
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: on and don't come back on my block. It's not
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: a it's not that I'm protecting myself is hey, where's
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: your boy? Okay front, everybody tell your mama Happy Mother's Day,

- 1:15:38Speaker 4: on tourism. Only thing discriminated, those kind of words, that's
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: America culture. Yeah, just put up the three hundred dollars.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: It would be the three hundred dollars is for the
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: four grams of coke you get at the door. They
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: can't say it because that's why that's why the Americans
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: are going to it's called a japan club. If we
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: want to dance the Japanese music, we would make club
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: right club Japan. So yeah, and it's in Mexico and
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: all of that's cold. Club Japan is where the drugs are.
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: It'll cost you three hundred dollars to get buy four grams.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: You walk in, you dance for two seconds, and then

- 1:16:33Speaker 4: there from what they tell me. This is what they
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: told me. Cheaper in Mexico. And don't go to Mexico
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: and ask for Mexican food. They're gonna y'all serve Mexican food.
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: They're gonna shoot you. Yeah, They'll lead you to a
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: small dark room in the back. Yeah, we got it
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: you in the back.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:55Speaker 4: When I went to Cankon long time ago, when they
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: just have a little celebrations and my boy played with
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: me with the rams, he was asking them person up

- 1:17:09Speaker 4: good Mexican food? Man?
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: He smacking me in the back of the head.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: And you take y'all nowhere. You just ask these people
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: just kind of get some good At least it was
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: in the same country, because if he if he asked,
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: like where go get some good Dominican be a problem.
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: I'm just looking for some good food, for some good food.
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: Who's got the best food in town? That's it. You

- 1:21:00Speaker 4: you look closely. Anything you could argue is maybe they
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: should loosen up what can be called an ejection. But
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: it did meet all the criteria, mainly because for a
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: glimpse there it looks like women, younger women identified as American.
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: The person he saw nas read like it's you. That's
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: why they charged just three hundred dollars. That's why they

- 1:21:49Speaker 4: it's this guy, damn, and then gave him the shove
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: off and then went back to like he was trying to.
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: But I did like how Wenby was confused by when
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: the red because the explanation. He couldn't understand he was
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: being ejected and he grabbed Harrison bond right, and it
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: was like, yeah, they injected me, right because he would
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: And I'm like, yeah, the ref do be explaining? Just
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: say thrown out the game? Say flagrant to Womby is gone.
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: That's just say that I don't need it. Does meet
- 1:22:22Speaker 4: the blah blah blah. Whinny looking looking at Harrison ejected
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: right and kiss why he's just shown he said, just
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: say Winby has been ejected. Now he ain't gotta say
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: number number twenty two we know who're talking about is gone.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: The follow through actions meet the criteria for a flagrant
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: one with a possibility of And he was like, uh, Fran,
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: what does he say? I have a question. Leading up
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: to yesterday's game, they'd been covering Wemby obviously a lot
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: this season, especially in these playoffs, and he's made the
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: comment more than once. I'm built for this. These are
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: the moments I was created for. I'm ready for this.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: In his flagrant getting kicked out of the game actions,
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: it looked like he lost his cool for a moment.
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: It looked like his emotion got to him. Now, we've
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: seen players become Hall of Famers by using the fact
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: that they can get in people's heads to their advantage.
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: Is that something Wimby's going to have to develop in
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: his game or is that something you never quite fix.
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: I look at a Draymond Green and he's been in
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: the league a long time, and you still get under
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: his skin to the point where he'll get a flagrant ejection.
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: And I've seen some guys start off. Reggie Miller used
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: to be kind of easy to push a button, and
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: now and then later it got to the point where
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: unless you was just riding Reggie back trying to choke
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: him out, he wasn't finna let none of that take
- 1:24:10Speaker 4: him off his game. I think it's as once Wendy
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: gets closer to being the face, then they will they'll
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: wrap him in the cloth of the Jordan rules, where
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: some of that stuff will probably be getting called a
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: little earlier. With his height and size and it's getting
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: a little bigger. I think they let the other player,
- 1:24:30Speaker 4: and I like the physicality. I was listening to the
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: w NBA game the other day and Rebecca Lobo was saying,
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: they've changed a lot of rules to reduce and to me,
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: that's what made the women's game. You had to earn it.
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: They let you play right on the edge of earning it.
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: When I watched these guys body up with Wemby, they're
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: gonna make him earn it. I mean, that's all. That's
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: the only defense I got. You see, he's the new
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: Cam Newton. Yeah, I gotta make you earn every Lamar
- 1:24:59Speaker 4: Jackson they we can't really say it's over till it's
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: actually over because he's so big, he's so strong, there's
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: no really deter reduce. Yeah, there's a certain reduction in
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: your in your ability that I'm going to try to
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: take advantage of tapping you all this long body. Yeah,
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: you know, and it has to be in a different
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: way like the Timbrels one Game one, even though Wimby
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: had twelve blocks, the timberld still won the game. But
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: it's like, we're still going to attack the basketball. We're
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: going to like kind of get him out of the
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: way early to create more space. So they called the
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: go tot screen, where the guy just okay, you just
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: get this guy out of the way at like you're
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: setting the screen. Get Wemby out of the way. They
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: got guys who can push him around a little bit.
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: So they're trying different stuff. And if anything, the Spurs
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: has to go and they have to go and find
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: a enforcer to put on the court with Wimby so
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: he doesn't have to take care of business for it. Yeah,
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: so he doesn't have to be both of those guys.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: It's hard to get that kind of player. It's hard
- 1:26:06Speaker 4: to find those. Yes, they're not like that. Yeah, well
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: but you have to do you think it's hard to
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: find those guys. Think somebody like a dealing Brooks out
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: there with no not like that. In my opinion, those
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: guys were were made on those teams. You got on
- 1:26:24Speaker 4: the team and everybody started, uh revealing what they are
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: identity was, and then I just became the guy who
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: would go out there and knock some heads and then
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: teams started valuing that. But now if you don't have
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: an outside jumper, and if you can't handle the ball
- 1:26:42Speaker 4: all the way up to court and stuff like that,
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: they're not looking for a dude just to really get physical. Uh.
- 1:26:48Speaker 4: As a Jared just said on the chat Oakley or
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: Mason type with women. You need an Oakley or Mason
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: that can also shoot threes. You don't. That guy doesn't
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: where that guy coming from. That's all I'm saying. To
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: find that guy, we got to Oh, I'm a I'm
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: a billion dollar industry. I started putting out ads for that.
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: We'll start finding them, just like I put out ads
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: for seven footers that can shoot threes that didn't exist
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: ten years ago. I start putting out scouting like guys
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: that are activated anywhere in the world. I go to
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: my G League team and find the guy that that's
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: what he can do. Yeah, you ain't got to know
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: his name. Most of the time we didn't. We didn't
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: know Draymond Green. But he was Steph Curry's enforcer. And
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: he can't even shoot threes right right? He thinks he can, Well, no,
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: he doesn't. He just shooting because he helps you. He
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: really thinks he can. He'll throw it up. Don't don't
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: listen to is the master marketer. He do everything he does.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: The numbers say no, he doesn't. In his mind, Josh
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: Smith thought he could shoot. It's the same thing. No,
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: it's not. I think it's say now, I'm saying, in
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: my opinion, nobody wanted either of them to shoot any
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: three nobody on their own team. And Draymond doesn't want
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: to shoot it. Josh is looking forward to shooting. Draymond
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: is doing it because he has to try. I have
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: to try, just like Dennis, Just like Dennis Rodman. We
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: kept pounding the table. Dennis, you gotta at least look
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: at the basket, because there was a while there that
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: Dennis wouldn't even realize he was open. Because he's never
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: going to even turn to look the city. He played
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: on the team where he was not as like, no
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: shooting right, But when he got to the Bulls that time,
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: it's already ingrained. People will shooting. But they but then
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: he started taking shots. They would leave him right there
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: for the little and he would take it. He used
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: to wouldn't do that, And that's how Draymond shoots the ball.
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: I'm the only dude opened. Might as well for him
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: to the rebound hindered his career. I think Jerymond thinks
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: he could. He he thinks he's a shooter. I think
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: he does see himself that way. The numbers say no,
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: but well, let me ask you this until they get that.
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: In San Antonio, will Wimby's emotion, will his uh, the
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: necessity that he be the head knocker and the big
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: man in the center be something that they exploit, almost
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: like a hack of shack. Shack was the dude that
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: they keep sending to the free throw line because they
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: knew he couldn't hit no free throws. Wemby, will they
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: start playing him harder, putting more pressure on him, to
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: get him in his man, get off me ejection mode,
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: because last night it looked to me like a flaw
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: that could be exploited. No, I think as a coach,
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: as organization, as a teammate, you go and just tell
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: him to aim a little lore same same blow into
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: the numbers instead ahead, and you get away. It's just
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: a flagrant one. Okay, you only got it. Might be
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: it might just at seven seven, you're gonna have to
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: drop it a little lower. And you know, I actually
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: when when to take your when to put the punishment
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: so that you don't get ejected. I don't care that
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: you filed him. It's really that he did hit him
- 1:30:17Speaker 4: in the face, tightened him up. But I actually I
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: watched I watched it live and I was like, move,
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: it really did. Dylan Harper's in the back and he's
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: like like he's real times. If you get away with
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: this boy to be the face of the lead, they'll
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: be letting him do like when like how Jordans and
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: and uh Kobe, you could tell that the mandate was
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: in that you couldn't throw him out because Mike would
- 1:30:53Speaker 4: come and slap his hand right in the rough face.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: He just do this, he right in his face like that.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: He would be there and the ref just looked like
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: he ain't see it. Man, You see this man and
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: Kobe would do the same thing. He didn't. They didn't
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: yell from a distance. They got in and then some
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: guys try that and don't realize that the ref didn't
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: get that, man, did you not? But did y'all not?
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: Like like Dylan Brook and even Draymond. Draymond be wanting
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: some of that and they won't let him, but they
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: do give him a little longer change because Draymond literally
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: be cursing them guys out to where he pushes the
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: button of ejection.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Tony brothers wanting to get him. Look, but do
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: you think that I really enjoyed that from Wimby, though,
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: do you think that really shows that I'm not gonna
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: be pushing He ain't gonna be.
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: What I'm saying it was. Again, I'm not tripping on
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: him filing. I'm not tripping on him having that fire.
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: I'm tripping on the fact that he got ejected from
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: the game and as a result, his team lost last night.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: That the that's the Detrick. What I would say that
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: that has to be regular season. Okay, you got to
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: learn how to take like primetime say, receipts and next
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: time I played Nales Reed or these team in the
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: regular season, I'm gonna do it. But I, like Bick
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: Kenny said, I can't do this, I can't do this
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: in the playoff game at all. This is not I can't.
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: I can't. You can't be ejected in a playoff game.
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: You gotta take everything. You can't even retal it. You
- 1:32:29Speaker 4: gotta You still got to stay on the floor, and
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: san Antonio still showed a lot of heart to make
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: it a close game. But that's something you put in
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: your roller decks. I'm still looking for Dexter Jackson. I
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: just never got around the plane again for the bus.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: When I was on the ground holding my knee. He
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: was something, I hope you injured, and I looked up
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: through the crowd. I took him in a note. I
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: just never got to play him again, but I was.
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: I'm still looking for him. We can hunt him down
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: there you want to, because the whole career I never
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: said somebody still say I hope that you injured. When
- 1:33:07Speaker 4: do we start that? If you want to ride on him? Hey,
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: when we talk about can we talk about my man?
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: And man and and and where his mind was last night?
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: Who knows matic city with living heys? Regardless, my daddy
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: told me keep the hitt even when I'm at Florence.
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: I'm honest, I ain't knowing me just because I'm the
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: biggest lord. Don't go away.

- 1:35:40Speaker 4: Welcome back to the sport stock, shine the spot, Shock,
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there in listening.
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: And one question we were talking about guys, our events
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: worth worth excuse me, our events worth the hassle? A
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: lot of times, what percentage are events that you've attended yourself?
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: Maybe like I went to the NBA R's All Star
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: Game when that first time it was in Las Vegas.
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: I forget how many years ago it was, and you
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: know NBA All Star. I had been the All Star
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: Games man in Vegas. And even when I attended Super Bowls.
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: Some of why I stopped going.
- 1:36:23Speaker 17: Is that.
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: It really wasn't worth the hassle. It was too much congestion,
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: It was too many long lines. Everything was in like warehouses,
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: like the ninety people you knew you never came in
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: contact contact, Yeah, because it was all read out and
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: you get back home. Man, I was dead team. I
- 1:36:47Speaker 4: was at the Big Kenny Man. You like, yeah, we
- 1:36:51Speaker 4: was in the green room. I was in the greenroom.
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: The green rooms over big Honestly, people, A lot of
- 1:36:59Speaker 4: people asking is it worth all this. They're scared it
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: is not going to be worth people I think do
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: all this for the World Cup. There are a group
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: of people who would try and get you to believe
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: that your feeling like some of this wasn't worth the effort.
- 1:37:19Speaker 4: Is you somehow put known airs You know you want
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: to be around all of that, you know you dying
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: to participate, And the truth of the matter is, I'm
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: really not. I don't care for standing in long lines
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: or standing up when I could be sitting down. And
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: I don't want to wait forty five minutes for my meal,
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: and I don't want to wait three hours to get
- 1:37:39Speaker 4: into a place that's gonna close hour after I get in.
- 1:37:42Speaker 4: That stuff doesn't excite me, and I'll just I'd rather
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: just enjoy it on TV. Imagine what's your personality when
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: it comes to something like that. Yeah, if it's I'm
- 1:37:55Speaker 4: very picky about going to that particular event in the
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: first place, like if I feel like I'm gonna be
- 1:38:02Speaker 4: there for less than an hour or you know, I damn,
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: it's like I don't even really want to go. So
- 1:38:12Speaker 4: I'm even more picky about about concerts or even just
- 1:38:17Speaker 4: like going to a movie theater. I'm very picky about
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: like if I I feel like I like I'm gonna leave,
- 1:38:26Speaker 4: I'm gonna leave early before this ends, or I'm not
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: gonna get my money's worth and I'm not even going
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: in the first place. So you're already skeptical and that
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: or you and your experience when you've attended things have
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: did they meet for all the hassle that you had
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: to maybe go through, whether it's the money, whether it's
- 1:38:45Speaker 4: the time, whether it's the you know, the distance, does
- 1:38:50Speaker 4: it always meet in your mind?
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, if you put that effort in, you
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: gotta have some kind of way you gotta fix. I'm
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: gonna get something out of it. I'm gonna enjoy it
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: some kind of way, even though some things may go
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: a rye or whatever. I'm still you gotta figure it
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: out so I might have fun. And see, that's what
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: I'm saying. I when it comes to my idea of
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: what fun is a lot of it might be mapped out.
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: And if I can't even get to the we've gone to.
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: I've taken a family to places like a Disney and
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: when we got there, we had rented some sort of
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: cabana for swimming, and the time it took to get
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: to the time we had reserved, we didn't even get
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: to use it.
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: We never saw the cabana. And for me, what was
- 1:39:44Speaker 4: the point in taking two weeks and finding a cabana
- 1:39:47Speaker 4: and renting it and all We could have saved all
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: of that effort and resource and just went to the beach. Yeah,
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: found the space at the beach. And I've actually changed.
- 1:39:58Speaker 4: When I was about going to Kingco. There was a
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: window of going to kN Kun in the mid nineties
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: that was real. It was just enough people right thing this,
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: and then Bad Boy Entertainment, Puff Daddy and all that
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: started coming in and Diddy would come rent all the
- 1:40:18Speaker 4: vehicles jet skis and basically take that option from you
- 1:40:24Speaker 4: know where I got to wait three hours and wait
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: on a call, whereas the two or three years previous
- 1:40:32Speaker 4: it was it wasn't like that. So it's the thing
- 1:40:36Speaker 4: of once it becomes a hassle, it's a personality thing,
- 1:40:40Speaker 4: and then too for me, then it doesn't It just
- 1:40:43Speaker 4: doesn't fit within the boundary. So I moved up there
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: to Miami for Memorial Day, and then everybody started making
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: that congested and then it became where that's not fun
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: because now just to get to my hotel on a
- 1:40:58Speaker 4: routine minute, now it takes hour and a half or
- 1:41:02Speaker 4: you can't get a reservation. You can't do that. So
- 1:41:05Speaker 4: it stopped being And that's why I said with the
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: super Bowl. You go to the super Bowl and it
- 1:41:10Speaker 4: started being too congested. Everybody's here, people just driving in
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: just to hang out, to hang out and taking up
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: in space, in space. One of the few things when
- 1:41:22Speaker 4: I'm gone to the Masters, the Masters, it's great to
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: go to because you don't have any it's a great
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: event with less house to get it to it. It's
- 1:41:33Speaker 4: hard to get a ticket to it, right. But the
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: other parts of it, as far as going and enjoying
- 1:41:40Speaker 4: everything is getting to travel and all that is easy.
- 1:41:45Speaker 4: And this is just you're not in a five hour
- 1:41:48Speaker 4: travel right right hold where you got to be going
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: five hours early just to get where you're going. And
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: a personal note for me is going to a lot
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: of these places, I've become a to having a privileged
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: VIP type of access. So on top of not wanting
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: to wait forty five minutes to get in a place,
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: I never really wait to get in any place, So
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: that forty five minutes really be hurting, you know what
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: I'm saying, Like, Man, I'm used to just walking in
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: a place and you say how long before a table
- 1:42:22Speaker 4: is available? Three hours? And I don't know if I
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: can wait that. I'm so hungry now I might die
- 1:42:27Speaker 4: trying to wait three hours for what. I'll just go
- 1:42:30Speaker 4: get a fast food drive through burger and you know,
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: keep on moving so we will see. I mean, there's
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: a lot of work going. And remember, as I said
- 1:42:39Speaker 4: at the top, not the world, and soccer belongs to
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: the world, something you definitely know, will they discourage that
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: that just coming to look, it seems like most of
- 1:42:51Speaker 4: these events you're gonna have to either have a ticket
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: or keep it moving along. Or do you think they
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: gonna be nine as just walking up and down the street.
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: Or are they gonna be like the Olympic people just
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: coming in because in like in ninety six when everybody's
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: just coming to Atlanta from in the southeast because the
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: Olympics was here, and now that the World Cup, this
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: is something that's just from like soccer teams, that club teams.
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: That's probably just to be an as can you say
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: being in the atmosphere and hanging out.
- 1:43:22Speaker 4: You think that's going to be a problem, Well that
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: has become the problem. Yeah, okay, that's That's what I
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: was trying to explain, is the intrigue of just being
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: in the town is overwhelming the event. So I was
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: when I was in college. We play Alabama in a game.
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: The stadium only holds eighty thousand people. You got one
- 1:43:45Speaker 4: hundred thousand people outside right that don't even have tickets.
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: That's how these events are becoming that it was cool
- 1:43:52Speaker 4: when it was just the people invading that actually are
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: going to attend. People now are where it is probably
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: two or three times as many people just there to
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: be there. They're not even going to the event. Couldn't
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: have got in if they wanted to. Here in Atlanta
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: when the Freaknik was kind of marketed to college students,
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: so those used to be from listening to people more comfortable,
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: But then it became everybody just wanted to come. Then
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: the congestion in the city's like, oh, we need to
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: run them out of town. It becomes that way. We'll
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: be back more in the Sportstock Show right after this
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: Don't Go Away.
- 1:44:46Speaker 7: Board of the Sports John Show with Wayne Gantidius coming

- 1:46:03Speaker 4: time for a school board.
- 1:46:05Speaker 28: When we put a spin on LFE and sports and
- 1:46:08Speaker 28: how they intermingled on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: Anthony, hold, lady, you're ready, You give me one second.
- 1:46:24Speaker 4: He needs one second, guys, one second. Okay, Well I'll
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: tell you. He was thirteen to twenty two for the
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: field hit three threes, seven of eight for the free throw.
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: He called, we picked up and now he's ready. Go ahead,
- 1:46:36Speaker 4: See okay, now he's ready. What kind of plays were
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: made by yourself? Welcome back to this one shock show.
- 1:46:42Speaker 4: That was Anthony Edwards postgame getting ready for his interview
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: after they had a big game by ant man thirty
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: four but he's thirty eight points last night, man, something
- 1:46:53Speaker 4: like that, like Minnesota winning one fourteen one nine. You
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: kind of heard a little confusion there as hiding things situated.
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: Make Kenny your questions, call it. Call that the hell
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: going on with Edie? What's wrong with Eddie? Why Eddie
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: got to be called in the middle? And my question
- 1:47:12Speaker 4: was when he did that. We have often talked on
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: this show about how the modern day athlete doesn't seem
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: to sometimes even be connected to the moment that they're
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: in They're always looking for my next activity, what is
- 1:47:29Speaker 4: the next moment? And it was never more evident than
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: in this display we I'm talking about. The game has
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: only been over mere seconds. I don't want to do this,
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: I wrote down. I am not the face of the NBA.
- 1:47:46Speaker 4: I don't want to do this. I got other priority. No,
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: I don't have other priorities. I just don't want to.
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: I really want to do this. I don't want to
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: be none of it that you people make me do.
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: Wanted to do y'all want to do this for years,
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: these pre game, mint game, in game, standing in the
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: battles box want to get her. Hey, what do you
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: think he's gonna throw the next pitch? All that I
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: don't know where that became so needed by you fans,
- 1:48:17Speaker 4: And I'm a quit pretending like I even am. I
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: don't care about that. I don't know why those coaches
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: do not want to give you those interviews. Now you
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: go to the dugout and you talk to the player
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: before you you get you a couple of quotes. In
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: between sets and tennis, they halt anything so I can
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: get a couple of words about, well, how you think
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: of the game, it's going the same way you looking.
- 1:48:43Speaker 4: You're watching it right now, as you're watching it, Can
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: I finish? So that's what When ant did that, it
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: seem is may what you about to ask me about,
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: Ain't It's so insignificant done this and these questions don't
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: have no real importance other than to feed your TV
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: audience who seems to want to need to know what
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: I was thinking before I dunked the ball. Well, when
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: when Big Kenny secured that rebound? What were you thinking?
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: I wasn't thinking nothing. I was thinking giving me the
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: ball pretty much. Yet yeah he got it because I'm tired.
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know. But they think you have
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: a minute to minute. It's almost like you're thinking the
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: athlete is playing but also commentating, but also refereeing, but
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: also watching from home. It's like four people. You're thinking
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: that he has a he must remember that play right right,
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: he must have had a feeling. Surely he had a feeling.
- 1:49:49Speaker 4: Bad producer get paid fifty million dollars a year to rebound.
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: That's what I think. I think. I think he should
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: have gotten that grap the rebound. I think bad producer
- 1:49:59Speaker 4: grab ball. That's what I think. And it was brushing
- 1:50:04Speaker 4: her off in a similar kind of Man, this isn't
- 1:50:07Speaker 4: important to me, and this is I think what was
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: so interesting to me is it seems like in that
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: moment he threw he's through pretending to care about stuff
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: like this. Some of them used to play the game
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: and they giggling and they yeah, you know what, thank
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: you very much. I just want to give on another
- 1:50:23Speaker 4: He looked called Eddie and yeah, I need a minute,
- 1:50:27Speaker 4: get me a second. So that when you asked, because
- 1:50:29Speaker 4: I did see that that part right, But it was
- 1:50:33Speaker 4: I didn't he hear the first part about the Eddie,
- 1:50:35Speaker 4: but I did see him when he was addressing it.
- 1:50:37Speaker 4: It was like, they haven't and I gotta go do
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: a post comfort. You gotta do the post coffee. There
- 1:50:45Speaker 4: a mandatory, gotta sit there, mandatory do that, and you
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: want to grab me and and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: So to me, it was one of those. And I'm
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: always instilled intrigued that the fan needs to consistently hear
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: from from somebody. Young lady that plays for the Fever ESPN.
- 1:51:04Speaker 4: When in Sophie cunning hand, they put the headphones on
- 1:51:09Speaker 4: her while she was sitting on the bench catching her
- 1:51:11Speaker 4: breath and they were saying, Hey, this new this year
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: for the w n B A we'll be able to
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: get uh, you know, ask a player while they're playing
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: on each team. And then she put the headphones on
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: and she was just Sophie, what do you think about
- 1:51:29Speaker 4: the game? She said, ooh, we out here right now,
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: like she was tired. But that's when he said something
- 1:51:37Speaker 4: like that, like I'm sitting here trying to catch my breath.
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: And you know, you think it came from the like NASCAR,
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: being a big NASCAR fan, Like the ind car moment,
- 1:51:47Speaker 3: like that's that when they started putting you in the
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: car with the driver and you can see it and
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: he's talking to the man. You can hear him talking
- 1:51:54Speaker 3: to the spotter, and and that's everybody's like, oh man, let's.
- 1:51:58Speaker 4: Try to send fans that that perspective of well, what
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: what are they thinking like while the game's going. I've
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: noticed that in golf lately because even with that perspective, like,
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: let's put them in the mind of the guy on
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: the field. So what do you think I'm about to
- 1:52:15Speaker 4: throw up? I'm so tired and Greg Big Kenny Bad Producer,
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: all that would be great if you let it be real,
- 1:52:31Speaker 4: if the FCC and the ABC's and the TV network
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: let these people give Let coach, I haven't seen a
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: coach yet, give the real pregame. They don't don't tell
- 1:52:50Speaker 4: me from eighth grade to year fifteen, I ain't never
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: heard these. You know, hey, it's good game, We're gonna
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: do this and do that. I don't know those pregames.
- 1:53:05Speaker 4: My pregames we just started. I'm talking about at thirteen.
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: They started with an explicit word, then in the middle,
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: at the end all of it, it was very few
- 1:53:20Speaker 4: words that were not explicit about what I want you
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: to do to that team in the other locker room.
- 1:53:29Speaker 4: So if you let me do that, if you let
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: me put the head on on Sophie connyhand and tell
- 1:53:34Speaker 4: her she ain't got to be qute PC and PC,
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: what do you think of the game? I'm detailing why
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: you're mad that brought to check up the steroid? You
- 1:53:47Speaker 4: too big to be like a horse. That that oh
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: you know when they used to sell that where Lawrence
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: Taylor is cursing out Bill Parcell, Remember those those clips
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: bring that. But if you just gonna be give me
- 1:54:02Speaker 4: the the general rule because I know Greg Papavi look
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: like he had a couple of cursed words every he
- 1:54:09Speaker 4: hated every time they came to him after the first quarter.
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: So what're you gonna tell him? What are you gonna
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: tell them?
- 1:54:16Speaker 28: Greg?
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: Uh? What you tell your mammy? That's what I need
- 1:54:21Speaker 4: you to Where your mamat? Where your mamat? We used
- 1:54:24Speaker 4: to call lay up, wait a minute. So if we
- 1:54:29Speaker 4: can get that, I'm cool. But just just to break
- 1:54:32Speaker 4: to get that that stand down, like, hey, we gotta
- 1:54:36Speaker 4: get we gotta get back on defense. What do you
- 1:54:38Speaker 4: think about your and we're gonna have to toughen up
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: on you think that's why we're going to prime and
- 1:54:42Speaker 4: all that stuff.
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: Now that possible, the f c C can loosen up there.
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: I'm just saying, if you're gonna give me the real version,
- 1:54:47Speaker 4: I'm all for it. But if you're just gonna keep
- 1:54:49Speaker 4: with these regular win one for the gipper, you gotta
- 1:54:55Speaker 4: be relatable. Now, I want to hear. Let me think
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: about that last series we blew a ten point lead.
- 1:55:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna fight on somebody and we are in the ocean.
- 1:55:10Speaker 4: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:55:14Speaker 28: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports jug
- 1:55:17Speaker 28: Show with Wayne Kenny.
- 1:55:25Speaker 4: Chariotics When you Decided to Ocean gives a sports out
- 1:55:48Speaker 4: test a minute to him. We like to thank you
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: for tuning in to today's show. Sorry about those technical difficulties.
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: I had a little internet problem, but what a great
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: show today. Bick Kenny at your Greg Bap producer. Thank
- 1:56:01Speaker 4: you for your contribution. If you missed any other day's show,
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: go to Apple Podcast, Amazon Podcast, Audible, Deez are iHeartRadio,
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: Spotify catch the replay. If ever the City of Atlanta
- 1:56:21Speaker 4: bills another airport, Robert Edward Turner Regional Airport is the name, okay,
- 1:56:38Speaker 4: the legend, the pioneer of Atlanta for a lot of
- 1:56:45Speaker 4: us that didn't live here. Because Rick Flair and Dusty
- 1:56:49Speaker 4: Rose gonna get it going on at the Omney that night, baby,
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: And that's how we learned from mister Ted Turner's televis
- 1:57:00Speaker 4: vision station. He brought us the Braves and Dale Murphy.
- 1:57:04Speaker 4: He brought us all TNT, the Cartoon networked TBS. It
- 1:57:11Speaker 4: all happened under his watch. And if ever there's another airport,
- 1:57:19Speaker 4: we all need the land at Ted Turner Region because
- 1:57:26Speaker 4: he is a true pillar undeniable part of what made
- 1:57:33Speaker 4: and put Atlanta the man started seeing in TNT TBS
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: Cartoon Network Turner Classic. Don't think you ain't engaged in
- 1:57:43Speaker 4: something that Ted Turner, and you probably had one of
- 1:57:47Speaker 4: his bisen Bergers. Yeah, Ted's month a pretty good run
- 1:57:51Speaker 4: by there and get you one if you ain't ever
- 1:57:52Speaker 4: been to Ted Montana Hamburger passing away at the age
- 1:57:57Speaker 4: of eighty seven through in about five kids, about five
- 1:58:01Speaker 4: or six x wives. You know, got the full meal
- 1:58:04Speaker 4: deal out of life. I mean, but we know all
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: been married by five times. That all right, So he
- 1:58:12Speaker 4: got a full life in and that's why at some
- 1:58:15Speaker 4: point I know we got Turner or this and all that.
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: But if ever there's another airport, Ted Turner needs his
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: name on it. That's the kind of guy he is.
- 1:58:24Speaker 4: So come on board. Ted from the Sports Shop Show.
- 1:58:32Speaker 4: We hope you all enjoy your afternoon. Have a great
- 1:58:35Speaker 4: takee peace,
