- 0:02Speaker 1: What a second date update? Kathy, good morning, bye bye,
- 0:08Speaker 1: good morning, good morning. Thanks for holding what's going on?
- 0:12Speaker 2: Well, I was just this second date update kind of
- 0:16Speaker 2: hit a chord with me for a very random reason.
- 0:20Speaker 2: But I just was trying to have an explanation of
- 0:23Speaker 2: why he might not have called. I didn't hear this segment.
- 0:28Speaker 2: But everybody has dating protocols, and some of them are
- 0:32Speaker 2: hidden and some are not. And I had been doing
- 0:35Speaker 2: some dating and I always learned lessons from those things,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and so the ones prior to this were not good.
- 0:45Speaker 2: They were not They were enlightening, but they were not good.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So I went on a date with a guy. I
- 0:51Speaker 2: thought it was awesome. We had great chemistry. He indicated
- 0:54Speaker 2: he liked me, that we were gonna we were on
- 0:57Speaker 2: for a potential second date. And the next morning I
- 1:01Speaker 2: was just being polite and feeling optimistic, so I just
- 1:06Speaker 2: messaged him real quick and I said, Hey, thanks again
- 1:09Speaker 2: for a great date. I hope you have a wonderful day.
- 1:12Speaker 2: That's it. Wasn't looking for a response, just being grateful
- 1:17Speaker 2: for the experience. So I'm ghosted, and I'm thinking to myself,
- 1:22Speaker 2: what's happening, What's going on? And he wouldn't respond, and
- 1:26Speaker 2: I finally said, hey, look, this is a learning experience
- 1:29Speaker 2: for me. I would really appreciate understanding why it is
- 1:33Speaker 2: you're ghosting me after such a great date. And he
- 1:36Speaker 2: did respond, and he said, well, if I go out
- 1:41Speaker 2: with a girl and it's a really great date or whatever,
- 1:43Speaker 2: but if she calls me back or makes contact within
- 1:46Speaker 2: three days, I don't call her back.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And I went, say what now, No, you cut out,
- 1:56Speaker 1: you said, and I went and then you cut out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Oh oh, and I and when I got his response,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I just said, okay, that's that's stupid.
- 2:09Speaker 1: There's all. Yeah, it reminds me of back I think
- 2:11Speaker 1: back in the day before that whole thing that guys
- 2:14Speaker 1: used to have a rule about three days you don't
- 2:16Speaker 1: contact the girl for three days after in the day.
- 2:19Speaker 3: But sones have changed all that. Yeah, that texting changes
- 2:22Speaker 3: all that.
- 2:22Speaker 1: But I'm fascinated, Kathy. You just called in. You didn't
- 2:25Speaker 1: even listen to seconds because when we called, so you
- 2:27Speaker 1: didn't hear. You didn't hear what happened.
- 2:32Speaker 2: No, I didn't even know what happened.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't that, it wasn't the rule. It was like, well, yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: girlfriend picked up the phone.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It was sort of it was sort of like I
- 2:42Speaker 2: told the guy, I'm like, well, okay, good to know
- 2:46Speaker 2: everybody have a thing. But I said, not only are
- 2:49Speaker 2: you missing out on me, but there's potential relationships you're
- 2:54Speaker 2: missing out on with that rule. But okay, thanks for responding.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But all all of those during that time, all of
- 3:02Speaker 2: the situations that happened during that dating period, we're learning experiences.
- 3:09Speaker 2: That one one's one that kind of just threw me
- 3:11Speaker 2: big time, and I went, okay, well, thanks for responding again,
- 3:15Speaker 2: have a great day and a great life.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you for calling us, Kathy, thanks for sharing
- 3:22Speaker 1: that with us.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Well, that's why I've been you do, but that's why
- 3:26Speaker 2: I've been single for six years.
- 3:28Speaker 1: All right, that's not on you. You got to listen
- 3:32Speaker 1: to our segments, Kathy. You got to listen to the
- 3:34Speaker 1: segment what do you go?
- 3:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, I was swimming at the radio.
- 3:41Speaker 4: You guys have got to have those girls, all four
- 3:43Speaker 4: of them now, all back with an.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Update after they top to that. That is hysterical. This
- 3:48Speaker 2: is hysterical. I was dying.
- 3:51Speaker 5: They have got to call back and tell.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Us how that went down.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I know I'm not the only one who wants to
- 3:55Speaker 1: hear that update.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the team we want right right?
- 3:59Speaker 2: That is that is a great Please please those girls
- 4:01Speaker 2: are listening or do you guys have a way to
- 4:03Speaker 2: reach out to them again? Please call back after you
- 4:05Speaker 2: guys get him. I want to hear.
- 4:07Speaker 1: That one, all right, Nick, thanks for calling in, Thank you, thanks,
- 4:10Speaker 1: buye Hey, we got to it cheering tickets. We need
- 4:12Speaker 1: a contestant eight seven seven nine three seven one o
- 4:16Speaker 1: four seven. I think we're going to play a member
- 4:18Speaker 1: the time, remember the time, So call us right now
- 4:20Speaker 1: at eight seven seven nine seven one four seven while
- 4:22Speaker 1: we wait to play. Remember the time. Peyton was talking
- 4:25Speaker 1: about Love Island. I know last season with Houdah, Yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it was the thing. My son Duck was staying up
- 4:31Speaker 1: all night watching it all this season. Same vibe, not
- 4:34Speaker 1: the same vibe.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Not necessarily the same vibe. I'm in a group chat
- 4:37Speaker 4: with a couple of my girlfriends and they're not really
- 4:39Speaker 4: into this season, but I am.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Really enjoying it.
- 4:43Speaker 4: There has been a couple of girls that have, you know,
- 4:46Speaker 4: the crazy eyes, and we're just waiting for them.
- 4:48Speaker 6: They're like a ticking time bombs.
- 4:50Speaker 3: See as soon as they enter the house, exactly.
- 4:52Speaker 4: They just have this look a little bit. But there's
- 4:55Speaker 4: a couple of couples that are, you know, putting all
- 4:57Speaker 4: their eggs in one basket right now. We're all only
- 5:00Speaker 4: a week in, but I am really enjoying it. There's
- 5:03Speaker 4: been a couple of cat fights, there's a couple of
- 5:05Speaker 4: girls on there that aren't necessarily really vibing. There's been
- 5:08Speaker 4: a few bombshells that have entered the villa. So also
- 5:11Speaker 4: a lot of theories because somebody just got voted off
- 5:14Speaker 4: the island or voted out of the villa last night,
- 5:17Speaker 4: but Arion and Maddox didn't say he got voted off
- 5:19Speaker 4: the island. So people are thinking that they're going to
- 5:22Speaker 4: bring him back as a bombshell because he was one
- 5:24Speaker 4: of those guys that really didn't get his fair shot.
- 5:27Speaker 4: But I don't think I don't think he should be
- 5:28Speaker 4: in there. I think he needs to go in my opinion.
- 5:31Speaker 4: But it's really good and I'm enjoying you.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Did you watch the next game last night?
- 5:34Speaker 3: I watched a little bit of the next game.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I was super close and San Antotio came out
- 5:38Speaker 4: with the win, and I know it was pretty funny
- 5:40Speaker 4: because people were counting on Jordan Woods. She has been
- 5:44Speaker 4: carrying this good luck bag, and I guess they won
- 5:46Speaker 4: like thirteen games in a row every single time that
- 5:48Speaker 4: she's wearing this bag. And since last night, the President
- 5:52Speaker 4: was there, so you weren't able to bring in bags,
- 5:54Speaker 4: so she designed shoes to be able to wear her
- 5:57Speaker 4: lucky bag and they still lost.
- 6:00Speaker 3: They're blaming the bag.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I said. I saw that they're blaming the president. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: said that yesterday. But I also said, right before the
- 6:05Speaker 1: game started, I said, the rumor is San Antonio is
- 6:09Speaker 1: going to win because this is all staged. And look
- 6:12Speaker 1: what happened.
- 6:13Speaker 5: That's all over the internet right now, all the conspiracy theories.
- 6:16Speaker 5: That is going to go seven games.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yep.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I got to say, I'm impressed with the with the series.
- 6:21Speaker 4: At first, I was like, I really wanted to see
- 6:23Speaker 4: an Okac in Spurs final. I thought those were the
- 6:27Speaker 4: best two teams in the league. But the New York
- 6:29Speaker 4: Knicks Jalen Brunson is killing it right now, so it's
- 6:32Speaker 4: been really fun to watch.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It's too bad they're not going to win because according.
- 6:36Speaker 5: To the script script, well see, I mean, it's it's
- 6:43Speaker 5: going your way.
- 6:43Speaker 1: As of last night, Arissa, Good morning, Good morning, Hi Arissa.
- 6:49Speaker 1: What are you doing on my way to work?
- 6:53Speaker 6: Where do you work?
- 6:54Speaker 1: What do you do for a living?
- 6:57Speaker 2: I just worked at a law firm downtown. Yeah, we're
- 7:01Speaker 2: part of town to you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: In right now?
- 7:04Speaker 2: Phoenix drives a downtown Phoenix.
- 7:07Speaker 1: What's street? How's traffic? I'm actually on camelback and there
- 7:16Speaker 1: was probably how's traffic busy?
- 7:20Speaker 6: It's busy for usual.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Okay, we'll drive safe while you're playing this game with us.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm actually getting jokes to work today.
- 7:27Speaker 1: So oh that's good.
- 7:28Speaker 5: You can really concentrate then, all right, all right, here's
- 7:31Speaker 5: what we have for you, or Rissa. It is music,
- 7:32Speaker 5: it's TV, it's movies, it's pop culture, all mush upy
- 7:36Speaker 5: together into a montage. All you got to do is
- 7:38Speaker 5: tell me what year it all happened. Players, Ready, let's
- 7:42Speaker 5: remember the.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Time I was asleep before. That's how we let it happen.
- 7:48Speaker 6: When they slaughtered Congress, we didn't wake up. When they
- 7:51Speaker 6: blamed terrorists and suspended the constitution.
- 7:54Speaker 1: We didn't wake up then either.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Now in the weak, my name is offers.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I have to do is second?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yes, come.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Say what is your mission to stop the war, What war?
- 8:18Speaker 1: War to end all wars? Bat your rack back travel book.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Once every year our ancestors come back to our world.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Please have a saved.
- 8:36Speaker 5: All right, some big clues there. Let me give you
- 8:38Speaker 5: a couple of bonus clues here as well. It was
- 8:42Speaker 5: the year also of the fidget spinner. It was the
- 8:45Speaker 5: total eclipse where a bunch of us were making stupid
- 8:47Speaker 5: cardboard boxes to see the sun and buying stupid sunglasses.
- 8:50Speaker 5: An iPhone X or iPhone ten came out, eliminating the
- 8:53Speaker 5: home button on your iPhone forever.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Arressa, what did you hear? Would you recognize? What year
- 8:58Speaker 3: do you think that all happened?
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, need an answer, gotta speak. Twenty seventeen.
- 9:15Speaker 3: What did you recognize from there?
- 9:18Speaker 1: A fidget spinner?
- 9:20Speaker 5: Okay, Arissa says, twenty seventeen, John Jay, you're remember.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm guessing a Rissa googled fidget spinners, and it's probably
- 9:27Speaker 1: right because it took her a long time to say
- 9:29Speaker 1: fidget spinners, so she was google. Am I right, that's okay?
- 9:32Speaker 1: But did you google it? Because you're not driving?
- 9:34Speaker 2: I was thinking. I was thinking about the cliffs thing
- 9:37Speaker 2: because I know that happened in twenty twenty three, but
- 9:39Speaker 2: also it happened when I was in seventh grade.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm not faulting you for googling. I think that's fair.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But I heard Handmade's Tail in there. I heard zed
- 9:49Speaker 1: and Alyssa Kara, Alysia Kara, and I remember interviewing Zeeddi's
- 9:53Speaker 1: my first interview with dogs, right, we did it with
- 9:56Speaker 1: puppies with our dog Rescue. And I wrote down twenty
- 9:58Speaker 1: sixteen or twenty seventeen Handmaid's Tail. And there's something else
- 10:03Speaker 1: I wrote down, and I can't read my handwriting, so
- 10:05Speaker 1: I don't know what that word is. So I'll go
- 10:07Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, twenty eighteen for John Jay Kyle, your move.
- 10:13Speaker 7: I immediately wrote down twenty sixteen when I heard the
- 10:16Speaker 7: Handmaid's Tale because I thought we were all watching that
- 10:20Speaker 7: at obsessed with that before my son was born. He
- 10:22Speaker 7: was born in twenty seventeen, and then like nothing else
- 10:26Speaker 7: really super came to mind. I mean, I remember the
- 10:28Speaker 7: solar eclipse. We all got glasses here and walked downstairs
- 10:32Speaker 7: while we were at work and looked into.
- 10:34Speaker 6: The sun and it was like so anticlimactic. But so
- 10:41Speaker 6: since twenty sixteen was my initial.
- 10:43Speaker 4: I'll just pick that year, okay, Peyton, I only caught
- 10:46Speaker 4: the day song, the body like a back Round, fidget Spinner,
- 10:48Speaker 4: fidget Spinner, and the eclipse threw me off.
- 10:50Speaker 3: So I'm going twenty twenty three.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Since that was our last eclips.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Well, twenty twenty three.
- 10:54Speaker 1: You say, when I wrote down something said I could
- 10:56Speaker 1: read my handwriting. It was Sam Hunt.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Yes, Sam Hunt, Body Lock a back Road. You guys
- 11:01Speaker 5: got most of clues in their z and their Handmaid's Tale.
- 11:04Speaker 5: The movie you guys had mentioned was wonder Woman in
- 11:07Speaker 5: there and that was the preventing of the thing. And
- 11:09Speaker 5: we do have a winner amongst you four, and it
- 11:12Speaker 5: is the Googling Arisso with two thy seventy.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Alright, you're gonna go see Edge year and congratulations.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, Okay, I'm so excited.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Hold on the line. An hour from now, we got
- 11:29Speaker 1: Louis Tomlinson tickets. Louis Tomlinson from one direction. I wonder
- 11:32Speaker 1: if he does one direction songs. I would think so,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I would think it'd have to you have to, yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 1: but that'll be an hour from now. You also get
- 11:38Speaker 1: tickets in the pit. We're also gonna do ed cheering
- 11:40Speaker 1: tomorrow at this time. By the way, when we were
- 11:44Speaker 1: doing the clues there Sam Hunt. I think I've told this,
- 11:46Speaker 1: sir before. I'll never forget this. So you know, in
- 11:49Speaker 1: this building, we our company owns lots of radio stations,
- 11:52Speaker 1: so there's like sports, news, country, whatever. And I was
- 11:56Speaker 1: in the elevator and there was this dude in the
- 11:58Speaker 1: elevator with jeans and a white T shirt and he
- 12:00Speaker 1: was so good looking. And I was in the and
- 12:03Speaker 1: this might be why I stopped taking the elevator. I
- 12:05Speaker 1: take the stairs now. And I said to my going,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I got to take something. You are really good looking,
- 12:10Speaker 1: and he goes, oh, thanks. Man. Turned out it was
- 12:11Speaker 1: Sam Hun. He was coming here to do something in
- 12:15Speaker 1: the building.
- 12:16Speaker 3: And I was like, they have a guitar in his hand.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I don't remember. I don't think he had a guitar.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I think I was just looking at it was as
- 12:20Speaker 1: a dude. His people might have been up here already
- 12:22Speaker 1: with the guitar and stuff. And I was like, and
- 12:24Speaker 1: he just started it was that song. Because I remember
- 12:26Speaker 1: the next day everyone was talking about it and I
- 12:28Speaker 1: was like, Oh, the good looking guy. That was really good.
- 12:30Speaker 3: This was a good looking guy in the elevator.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Anyway, So I wanted to try you exactly something I
- 12:37Speaker 1: was doing yesterday. Remember I told you the other day.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was driving in and I saw a flock of birds,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and I want to know where it came up with
- 12:42Speaker 1: the word flock. Yes, So yesterday I was driving in
- 12:47Speaker 1: and I was thinking about words and how they come
- 12:49Speaker 1: up with words thing, And I was thinking about words
- 12:52Speaker 1: that are silent, and so I started pronouncing all the
- 12:55Speaker 1: words with the silent letters in it. I was trying to.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Think about silent words put silent letters in.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like like Stephanie, and I was trying to incorporate
- 13:06Speaker 1: those because I said, I had this interview on the
- 13:11Speaker 1: highly successful podcast Jo Javans podcast with Molly Miller, the
- 13:14Speaker 1: ASU women's coach, and I was so stressed about it,
- 13:17Speaker 1: and I was practicing and I was practicing questions to
- 13:21Speaker 1: ask her and I said the words subtle, and I
- 13:23Speaker 1: said and said, I said subtle. But this didn't happen.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It was just in my head, right. So then I
- 13:29Speaker 1: was practicing other words, and I'm going to try to
- 13:30Speaker 1: say these in sentences. Okay. So I started thinking about
- 13:32Speaker 1: people name If your name is pillop piop, like why
- 13:36Speaker 1: are these words silent, you know, like pharmacy, right, thumb
- 13:42Speaker 1: thumb thumbub salmon, mm hmm, I hear that a lot
- 13:47Speaker 1: actually list ten man, listen, receipt, and I wrote down
- 13:55Speaker 1: a whole bunch knife kannock kannock knife. Sure. Uh, anyway,
- 14:05Speaker 1: those are just words that so I'm trying to incorporate
- 14:07Speaker 1: them more in my language.
- 14:08Speaker 6: The things that occupy your brain time, ja, ja, It's
- 14:11Speaker 6: baffling to me.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It was hard to come up with those, peoples.
- 14:13Speaker 5: I wonder how much time you spent coming up with
- 14:15Speaker 5: those words, like a lot. I was like trying to
- 14:19Speaker 5: come and I know there's a lot more, but I
- 14:21Speaker 5: couldn't think of it anymore. Well, if anybody has any word,
- 14:23Speaker 5: as John J says, silent words, they're actually silent letters, silent.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Letters in words, A silent word would be this. We
- 14:30Speaker 1: don't need that on the idea.
- 14:32Speaker 3: No, I can't stand that, you know, I can't stand
- 14:34Speaker 3: the silence.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Oh oh, here's a text. I don't know which call
- 14:38Speaker 1: this is is, John Jay and Rich. The award for
- 14:41Speaker 1: the most boring phone call into the radio station goes
- 14:43Speaker 1: to Kathy not to be rude. Oh, she's the one
- 14:46Speaker 1: that's called that second.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Eight about dating, which she didn't hear a second.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She goes not to be rude, but my goodness, she
- 14:50Speaker 1: didn't even listen to the segment, and then she calls
- 14:52Speaker 1: in to pick it apart, like, get there faster, Kathy.
- 14:56Speaker 6: We just appreciate when people participate.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Quite honestly, that's hilarious. Okay, So crowd, there's something I
- 15:04Speaker 1: think somewhat exciting going on in Kyle's world, and to me,
- 15:07Speaker 1: it's exciting and you but you were kind of nervous
- 15:10Speaker 1: about it legitimately actually.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Very nervous about it, and I don't I don't understand
- 15:14Speaker 7: why I'm nervous about it.
- 15:16Speaker 3: But I was asked to be.
- 15:18Speaker 7: Interviewed on a podcast today and that's never happened, and
- 15:22Speaker 7: I feel like, I'm like, oh my gosh, I don't
- 15:24Speaker 7: know what I'm gonna do because they sent me an
- 15:27Speaker 7: email and in the email was like all these lists
- 15:30Speaker 7: of like five batches of questions and I had to
- 15:33Speaker 7: pick three questions in each batch.
- 15:36Speaker 6: And normally that would.
- 15:37Speaker 7: Help me prepare, but it only made me more nervous
- 15:41Speaker 7: because the questions are.
- 15:42Speaker 6: Like so deep.
- 15:44Speaker 7: It's like what lived experience do you carry with you
- 15:49Speaker 7: and carry into every story you tell.
- 15:52Speaker 6: And I'm like, I don't, I don't and I'm like, don't,
- 15:58Speaker 6: can't pick that one.
- 16:00Speaker 7: And it's like it's just like like the private thing
- 16:03Speaker 7: you do before going on air or on camera that
- 16:06Speaker 7: nobody knows about. And I'm like, I get ready and
- 16:09Speaker 7: I watch TV like there's not like a private thing
- 16:12Speaker 7: that I do. I'm like, I can't answer any of
- 16:14Speaker 7: these questions. I think I'm gonna be the worst podcast
- 16:17Speaker 7: interview ever.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So you gotta come up with what private thing do
- 16:20Speaker 1: you do? Well, a couple of things questions it's I
- 16:23Speaker 1: don't want to share with you.
- 16:26Speaker 7: You I pick those ones. So I was like, I
- 16:29Speaker 7: don't want my answer to be like I don't do
- 16:31Speaker 7: anything that people like. One one of things like what
- 16:33Speaker 7: what's one thing about you that would surprise your audience?
- 16:36Speaker 6: And I'm like that's pretty much share everything around you.
- 16:39Speaker 3: But that's a good question. What sort of podcast is it? Kyle?
- 16:42Speaker 7: You know, I don't even really know a friend. Okay,
- 16:46Speaker 7: so a friend asked me to do it, and this
- 16:49Speaker 7: friend is working with the person that does the podcast. Okay,
- 16:53Speaker 7: and I actually got to meet the host of the
- 16:55Speaker 7: podcast at the.
- 16:56Speaker 6: Love Dog Mom's Day at Love Pop Dog Mom's Day.
- 16:59Speaker 7: But because everything was kind of hectic, we didn't really
- 17:02Speaker 7: have a chance to have a conversation, which I think
- 17:04Speaker 7: I would have loved to have done because it would
- 17:06Speaker 7: have mentally prepared me.
- 17:08Speaker 6: But just be prepared to if if this happens that
- 17:13Speaker 6: I will probably never be asked to do a podcast mom.
- 17:15Speaker 1: No, I think what she says. What if she says
- 17:17Speaker 1: to you this is weird. I think is to pick
- 17:20Speaker 1: the questions you want them to ask you. That's that's
- 17:22Speaker 1: I've never had that happen.
- 17:23Speaker 7: I actually appreciated that because if she asked me some
- 17:26Speaker 7: of the questions that I passed on.
- 17:27Speaker 6: It would actually really be a very boring interview.
- 17:30Speaker 7: So it's like I think they I think they sent
- 17:33Speaker 7: this out so that it could invoke like stories like
- 17:35Speaker 7: what things can you share that aren't just a yes
- 17:38Speaker 7: or no answer?
- 17:38Speaker 1: So she says, what private things do you do before?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Because hey, I usually do about fifteen car wheels in
- 17:42Speaker 1: the backyard and no one's ever I've never told me
- 17:46Speaker 1: about that before.
- 17:48Speaker 7: This is why John Jay is a really good podcast interview,
- 17:52Speaker 7: because if he didn't have an answer, he would just
- 17:54Speaker 7: say something like that.
- 17:55Speaker 5: Right, if I did even commit to it later, if
- 17:57Speaker 5: he came to his house, he would find a way
- 17:58Speaker 5: to do fifteen car exactly. So are they did they
- 18:02Speaker 5: come to you because you are kylone thug of the
- 18:05Speaker 5: John Jay and Rich radio show.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Or is it?
- 18:07Speaker 3: Is it something?
- 18:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:08Speaker 6: I don't think. I don't think there'd be another reason.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Some of it.
- 18:11Speaker 5: They should ask you, like, tell us something that annoys
- 18:14Speaker 5: you the most about each person that you do the
- 18:16Speaker 5: show with.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Something annoys you about John.
- 18:18Speaker 6: Jays that could take up the whole plot.
- 18:21Speaker 3: That's what I would ask you.
- 18:24Speaker 1: What celebrity would play you in the movie of your life?
- 18:27Speaker 1: And why are they already demanding an oscar?
- 18:31Speaker 6: That's a fun one.
- 18:32Speaker 1: What's your most irrational fear? You got a lot of those?
- 18:35Speaker 6: I do have a lot of those, but I think
- 18:37Speaker 6: they're not Ira.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I don't know that.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I shouldn't care for the present Cotton.
- 18:44Speaker 7: I'm scared of somebody coming and killing, murdering my fade.
- 18:48Speaker 1: This is a good one. This is good and she
- 18:49Speaker 1: should ask you. This would be a great one to
- 18:51Speaker 1: ask you because of the stuff that happens in here.
- 18:53Speaker 1: If your search history was read out loud on stage,
- 18:57Speaker 1: How concerned would you be say that it's stuff we
- 19:01Speaker 1: ask on the air, Be like, what is your search history?
- 19:03Speaker 7: Because it'd be like, damn, because of working here and
- 19:07Speaker 7: the things we've talked about on the air, the search
- 19:08Speaker 7: history would probably be pretty mortifying, and then I'd have
- 19:10Speaker 7: to explain.
- 19:11Speaker 6: But wait, that was because actually I was searching it.
- 19:15Speaker 1: What is one thing your listeners think they know about
- 19:17Speaker 1: you that is completely false?
- 19:19Speaker 3: Oh that's good, I see.
- 19:21Speaker 6: I don't think I have that. I don't think I
- 19:23Speaker 6: have I don't think I have that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: What is the weirdest compliment you've ever received? That's a
- 19:27Speaker 1: good one. What's a weird compliment you got?
- 19:30Speaker 6: I don't really get comforts.
- 19:33Speaker 1: You gotta start, except what they say, you're gonna have
- 19:36Speaker 1: to think fast.
- 19:37Speaker 4: To think fast, it's gonna be her toasties or her
- 19:40Speaker 4: feet or something that's very common though, I know, but like.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Some crazy things said about it.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Okay, okay, now do you see why I'm nervous? Like
- 19:51Speaker 6: it's weird? Like I think it's weird that I am
- 19:53Speaker 6: nervous because we do this every day and.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Here you're totally chilled and I'm.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Not nervous at all.
- 19:59Speaker 7: Ever to go on the air, but because I'm like
- 20:00Speaker 7: just in here with my friends and we just kind
- 20:02Speaker 7: of rap about whatever, and it's the focus usually is
- 20:05Speaker 7: it really like on me and asking me about stuff.
- 20:07Speaker 7: So I'm kind of like, I don't know, like can
- 20:09Speaker 7: I just can I when she asks a question, just
- 20:13Speaker 7: answer with a question and turn.
- 20:14Speaker 6: The interview back on her.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good idea. So I've noticed lately in
- 20:19Speaker 1: a bunch of interviews I've done, and also when it's
- 20:22Speaker 1: funny too. And you know, I was in Los Angeles
- 20:23Speaker 1: last week and I was at this party in LA
- 20:25Speaker 1: and I noticed something that nobody ever asks, like me questions,
- 20:31Speaker 1: Like I'm talking to people at this party and no
- 20:33Speaker 1: one's saying anything about me, and I'm like volunteering stuff
- 20:36Speaker 1: because I was just testing it out. I'm never going
- 20:38Speaker 1: to see these people again. And then I like, I
- 20:39Speaker 1: do interviews and no one ever says to me, like
- 20:41Speaker 1: when I do an interview on a podcast, I'm usually
- 20:43Speaker 1: going right back at him ask him questions. So no
- 20:45Speaker 1: one ever does that. So I found that interesting. Here's
- 20:47Speaker 1: a question for you. If calories didn't count, what would
- 20:50Speaker 1: you eat every day?
- 20:51Speaker 6: Candy? Well, all the sour things really, Candy.
- 20:56Speaker 1: What piece of advice do you give others that you
- 20:58Speaker 1: completely ignore your self. That's a good question too.
- 21:02Speaker 6: What advice do I give other people? I try not
- 21:05Speaker 6: to give other people advice.
- 21:06Speaker 3: No, just kidding.
- 21:07Speaker 7: I don't know, because I advise people to try to
- 21:10Speaker 7: see the positive and everything, and I always try to
- 21:11Speaker 7: see the positive and everything.
- 21:13Speaker 6: So I kind of feel like I don't necessarily not
- 21:16Speaker 6: take my own advice.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Interesting. Netflix Number one presenter, Kyle, what's a show or
- 21:24Speaker 1: movie you defend it to the death that everyone else
- 21:26Speaker 1: on the show roasted you for?
- 21:28Speaker 6: Did you guys roast me for a show?
- 21:30Speaker 1: One show? Was one show I roasted you for?
- 21:32Speaker 6: You did, but I will say that I suggested succession
- 21:36Speaker 6: for about a year.
- 21:37Speaker 7: Child.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Did you roasted me? And then you watched it and
- 21:39Speaker 6: loved it?
- 21:40Speaker 1: No, you came in here for the longest time watching
- 21:42Speaker 1: some weird Rob Low show that came out like a
- 21:44Speaker 1: twenty seven.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Raised, A judge, A lawyer was something.
- 21:48Speaker 1: It was something coming in and like Kyle, no one's
- 21:50Speaker 1: talking about it.
- 21:53Speaker 6: What was that show? How to watch it again? Double
- 21:57Speaker 6: down on this Rob Low show?
- 22:00Speaker 1: If aliens arrive tomorrow, What is the first thing you'd
- 22:03Speaker 1: volunteer John Jay to explain to them, Hm, hm, you
- 22:09Speaker 1: gotta think fast, you gotta think kathy rible.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I don't want to do that.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I should probably tell you, guys, what's the household chore
- 22:18Speaker 1: you hate?
- 22:19Speaker 6: Doing laundry?
- 22:20Speaker 1: How many times have you googled yourself?
- 22:22Speaker 3: Never?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Just kidding? Probably three? If your life, if your life
- 22:26Speaker 1: had a warning label, what would it say?
- 22:28Speaker 3: Uh, watch out.
- 22:29Speaker 6: I'm going to ask you to take a fun one.
- 22:34Speaker 1: If you had to survive on only gas station snacks
- 22:37Speaker 1: for a month, what's your strategy? Easy?
- 22:40Speaker 6: Very easy? You get salty and sweets and nice little balance.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is parallel parking hard for you? Oh? Because you got
- 22:47Speaker 1: a car that doesn't huh?
- 22:48Speaker 4: No, I just.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Describe your relationship with your phone battery in one word,
- 22:59Speaker 1: not caring. If your life as a radio co host
- 23:02Speaker 1: was a reality show, what would the title be, mom Life, Mayhem, Deal,
- 23:06Speaker 1: Queen Drama.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Or your own or your own one of those would
- 23:12Speaker 6: you name?
- 23:12Speaker 1: What would you name the show?
- 23:13Speaker 7: If it was just me your reality show, My reality
- 23:17Speaker 7: show would be Kyle's Chaos.
- 23:21Speaker 1: What's one skill you learned from your early days as
- 23:23Speaker 1: an intern that saves you daily? And one embarrassing habit
- 23:26Speaker 1: which you wish had stayed in the intern closet.
- 23:29Speaker 6: Uh, my habit is crutches. Like things that I say
- 23:34Speaker 6: on the air, I think I say like too much.
- 23:37Speaker 6: And the one thing what was the first part of
- 23:39Speaker 6: the question. I would say, always continue learning.
- 23:45Speaker 7: Never think you know everything because always continue learning.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yes, acl acl acl Peyton and I interviewed the ASU
- 23:54Speaker 1: women's coach yesterday, Molly Miller. She's awesome and she came
- 23:56Speaker 1: up with a phrase called energy, which is the energy
- 23:59Speaker 1: on the bend bench. Energy acl could be Kyle's thing.
- 24:03Speaker 1: People are buying hats and shirts to say, ben acl oud,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you tear yoursel No, always continue learning? Is it always
- 24:10Speaker 1: continue the same thing? Sad morning, Wait on the moon
- 24:14Speaker 1: and start your day with John, Jay and Rich.
- 24:16Speaker 6: I wake up with my favorite artist.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter. What's up, guys.
- 24:19Speaker 3: This is post balloone.
- 24:20Speaker 1: It's Benson Boone.
- 24:21Speaker 6: As you're waking up with John Jay and Rich
