Empath vs. Clairsentient: Why They’re Actually the Same Thing · The Unity Code - Where Science Meets Energy, Consciousness, and Spirit.

• 0:00
SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the Unity Code where I am going to continue our journey with Clair Sentience and break your brain a little bit more today.
• 0:09
SPEAKER_00: But I'm going to actually turn the direction a little bit because I'm actually going to talk to you and prove to you today that being an empath just means that you are an expert in Clairsentience.
• 0:26
  SPEAKER_00: That's all it means.
• 0:27
  SPEAKER_00: The same fucking thing.
• 0:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yep.
• 0:29
SPEAKER_00: I'm going to say and I'm going to break it down for you what that means, why I know this to be true, and why, if you're an empath, likely Claire Sentience is your number one Claire as well.
• 0:41
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 0:42
SPEAKER_00: Now, again, there is nothing to be afraid of here.
• 0:45
SPEAKER_00: Again, just to recap from the last episode, Claire Sentience is the Claire related to feeling.
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: So this is how energetics are received in your body, and it tends to be brought in through emotions, personalities, feelings, etc.
• 1:00
SPEAKER_00: Now, by definition, being an empath is somebody that absorbs other people's emotions.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_00: Are you are you putting out?
• 1:11
SPEAKER_00: Are you are you getting what I'm putting out yet?
• 1:13
SPEAKER_00: Like, does it already start to make sense for you?
• 1:16
SPEAKER_00: So let me break this down in a story for all of you.
• 1:21
SPEAKER_00: Because much like my journey with Clairsentience and the fact that I didn't want it, spirit turned it on for me.
• 1:27
SPEAKER_00: I was all set with it, but I had to learn how to master it.
• 1:31
SPEAKER_00: I also was completely clueless about how much of an empath I am.
• 1:39
  SPEAKER_00: Completely fucking clueless.
• 1:41
SPEAKER_00: I knew that I was very good at quote unquote reading people.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't until I got into this metaphysical journey that I really understood what that meant.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: And this is a shout out to, I believe it's Lisa Campion's book.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_00: I think it's called Energy Healing for Empaths, where I read that and it was just like fireworks in my brain to help me understand how much I actually pick on the emotions, feelings of others.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_00: Like I pick up on everybody's energy around me, and I had no fucking idea.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_00: And this is why rabbit hole, just for a half second, this is why a lot of metaphysical people will preach about ground and clearing protecting, because that allows you to essentially like remove any energy that's not yours and clear your energy field from anybody else's energy and block it off, which is critical because step number one in doing this metaphysical work is to understand your own energy so that you know when it's different, because that means something or someone is coming in.
• 2:46
SPEAKER_00: And that's a really, really important skill to have.
• 2:48
SPEAKER_00: That discernment is really, really important to have.
• 2:51
SPEAKER_00: So as I started to read this lovely book by Lisa Campion, I remember it was a couple summers ago, and it talks about how people who have, who are empathic, essentially absorb the emotions of others as if they are your own.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_00: Like that's the key with empathy is that you don't understand, or being being an empath is that you don't understand that these are not actually your emotions.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: And so what my emotions look like before this point is that I would it's almost like I was bipolar, but I wasn't, I wasn't certified or diagnosed or anything like that.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: But I would have good days, I would have bad days, my emotions would turn on a dime.
• 3:35
SPEAKER_00: Um, I grew up walking on eggshell shells to please everybody because I could like I knew when they were upset at me and it it was it crushed my energy.
• 3:46
SPEAKER_00: Like I would get depressed if I thought about how other people were upset with me or didn't like me.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_00: And so I was greatly impacted by the emotions and the energies of other people.
• 3:59
SPEAKER_00: And I I like I probably knew that consciously, but I thought I was my own worst critic.
• 4:07
SPEAKER_00: I thought that I was responsible for that internal like hate that I had for myself, that internal depression that I had for myself, the internal um judgment that I had for myself.
• 4:20
SPEAKER_00: And I'm not quite sure where that's gonna go.
• 4:22
SPEAKER_00: I'm probably gonna break that apart.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_00: And over time, I just started to realize like I'm just a very volatile person emotionally.
• 4:30
  SPEAKER_00: Like I know I'm a volatile person.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_00: I know I'm very unpredictable.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_00: Um, and when I found myself in the right crowds with people that liked me, loved me, people that respected me.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_00: And when I went to business school in particular, like I found that my emotions and energies evened out a little bit, right?
• 4:50
SPEAKER_00: And so it got easier.
• 4:52
SPEAKER_00: And then I had kids.
• 4:56
SPEAKER_00: When you have kids, you realize how fucking volatile kids are.
• 5:01
SPEAKER_00: And so when I was reading Lisa Campion's book with little kids in the backseat, it finally fucking clicked.
• 5:12
SPEAKER_00: It finally all made sense.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_00: And I didn't believe it at first.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_00: Like everything else, I needed to collect data and I needed to understand it, but the way that she described how their energy comes into our energy field and we pick it up as our own, it started with me being fine, sitting in the car with my kids and immediately getting a pounding headache.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: Like, like with like immediately pounding headache.
• 5:40
SPEAKER_00: And then I looked back at my kids in the backseat and I said, Who has the headache?
• 5:44
SPEAKER_00: And my son raised his hand.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Fuck, it's not me.
• 5:49
SPEAKER_00: I would have thought that I just got a headache in that moment.
• 5:53
SPEAKER_00: I had no idea that other people's energy impacted me that much.
• 5:58
SPEAKER_00: And here's the wild part.
• 6:00
SPEAKER_00: Here's the wildest part about this.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_00: When you acknowledge where the energy comes from, and and you like, you're like, great, take that energy back, it stops.
• 6:10
  SPEAKER_00: The headache went away.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_00: This was the beginning of my journey understanding the energetics behind Clairsentience and how we receive it, right?
• 6:25
SPEAKER_00: And this continues to happen to this day because I went skiing last weekend and I'm not the best skier.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: I snowboarded for many years, and so I'm not the most amazing of skiers, but I was skiing with my daughter who's 10 years old and kicking my ass already.
• 6:45
SPEAKER_00: And I noticed that as I would ski by certain people, my nerves with the skis would change.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_00: Like no fucking, no fucking word of a lie.
• 6:56
SPEAKER_00: I skied by a woman that was super nervous, and I got super fucking nervous in like 10 seconds, and then I skied past her, and it was fine.
• 7:06
SPEAKER_00: I, my husband, then came up behind me, and he's a fantastic skier.
• 7:12
SPEAKER_00: And as soon as he came up behind me, it's like I absorbed that energy, and in that 10 seconds he flew by me, I was a fantastic fucking skier.
• 7:20
  SPEAKER_00: I had no problems.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_00: I had all of the confidence.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_00: And it was wild, even this late in the game, well, not late in the game, this far along in my metaphysical, you know, spiritual development, that I'm still having these recognitions.
• 7:34
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it speaks number one to probably how I need to protect my energy, but I'm outside, it's gorgeous.
• 7:38
  SPEAKER_00: That one's fine.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_00: Um, but also how I'm picking up on the energies of others still.
• 7:45
SPEAKER_00: And if I wasn't consciously tagging the fact that it was a new feeling for 10 seconds, then I was gone, I probably would have never thought that it was somebody else's emotions or energy that were influencing me.
• 8:00
SPEAKER_00: And this is why being an empath is such a mind fuck, is because it feels like yours.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_00: There is no indication that that energy is coming from somewhere else, besides that it comes on quickly.
• 8:15
SPEAKER_00: And if they leave your presence, it goes away quickly.
• 8:17
  SPEAKER_00: That's the only reason.
• 8:19
SPEAKER_00: But if it comes on quickly and you claim it as your own, you're gonna just continue with that feeling if you don't know any better.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_00: Isn't that the craziest thing about being an empath?
• 8:31
SPEAKER_00: And like this is the thing that I want all women to learn.
• 8:34
SPEAKER_00: I want to scream it from the rooftops for women because a lot of the things we carry, we know are not our own, but that includes our emotions.
• 8:44
SPEAKER_00: That includes our fucking feelings.
• 8:47
SPEAKER_00: And so the more that you learn about energetics, the better off you're gonna be because you're starting to realize what's actually truly yours?
• 8:56
SPEAKER_00: What is the weight that you truly need to carry this lifetime?
• 8:59
SPEAKER_00: Versus where are you picking up on the energetic discharge and the energetic honest to God, toxicity of other people, and you take it on as your own and you think that you're the toxic person, which is why for most of my life, I had no idea that I was taking on other people's energy and emotions.
• 9:19
SPEAKER_00: Because again, I grew up in a household where we didn't talk about emotions and feelings, right?
• 9:24
SPEAKER_00: Passive aggressiveness was the game that we played.
• 9:29
SPEAKER_00: There was no open, like, I love you.
• 9:32
SPEAKER_00: There was no open talks of like discussions or emotions.
• 9:35
  SPEAKER_00: I was too sensitive.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_00: I had to shut all of my emotions down.
• 9:39
SPEAKER_00: So I learned from a very young, young age that emotions were bad, you know?
• 9:43
  SPEAKER_00: And I don't think as a parent now, it's kind of like a 180 because I understand.
• 9:49
SPEAKER_00: Because I have very emotional kids.
• 9:51
SPEAKER_00: And like I would love to not have a fucking meltdown every single day.
• 9:54
SPEAKER_00: And I love my kids and I realize that they're navigating big emotions.
• 9:58
SPEAKER_00: And as a mom, I want to be there, but that means that I need to expand my nervous system capacity to handle not only my emotions, but their emotions too.
• 10:05
SPEAKER_00: And as a mom, that's a really fucking hard thing to do all day when I'm doing laundry and dishes and cooking.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: And again, my nervous system is shot.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_00: And so I understand, I understand now why parents want their kids to be quiet.
• 10:20
SPEAKER_00: I totally fucking get it.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_00: And that's why when I was growing up, I never knew that I was taking on the emotions and energies of others because I was just learning that everything that I had was bad.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_00: So whenever I felt anything, it was bad.
• 10:36
SPEAKER_00: If I felt, you know, heavy sad, that was bad.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: If I felt good, that was bad.
• 10:40
SPEAKER_00: Like I wasn't allowed to show emotion, right?
• 10:43
SPEAKER_00: I feel like every kid in the 80s and 90s didn't have emotions.
• 10:46
SPEAKER_00: Like we just the society we were raised in.
• 10:50
SPEAKER_00: And so growing up, essentially avoiding all of these deep feelings and emotions that you have.
• 10:59
SPEAKER_00: Of course, we're not equipped.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_00: Of course, we have no idea that these are not ours because we don't even know what our own emotions feel like.
• 11:11
SPEAKER_00: I've gone way off topic.
• 11:13
  SPEAKER_00: No, I haven't.
• 11:14
SPEAKER_00: I just haven't related it to Claire Sentient yet.
• 11:17
SPEAKER_00: So I guess this is more about being an empath.
• 11:20
SPEAKER_00: I just follow where spirit wants me to go.
• 11:22
SPEAKER_00: And so this is why that book was so life-changing for me, is because I started to recognize all these big, huge fucking feelings I had, they weren't all mine.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_00: They were not my responsibility.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_00: And so I started to learn how to like learn how to ground center clear.
• 11:44
SPEAKER_00: I learned how to start protecting my energy.
• 11:46
SPEAKER_00: And then what I noticed is my energy got a lot more even keel once I got rid of everybody else's emotions.
• 11:53
SPEAKER_00: I was no longer feeling like I was bipolar, I was no longer being greatly influenced and impacted by the crazy energies around me.
• 12:06
SPEAKER_00: I started to learn what my energetic norm was.
• 12:13
SPEAKER_00: And again, this is such an important fucking skill.
• 12:18
SPEAKER_00: To be grounded in your own energy, like that, and like that's step one.
• 12:23
SPEAKER_00: And then what happens when you can actually control your own energy and emotions?
• 12:27
SPEAKER_00: And it's not like control as in don't have emotions, but it but you're allowing yourself to feel them at a level that you're comfortable with because you know they're yours and they're not somebody else's, then your nervous system learns how to handle those emotions.
• 12:41
SPEAKER_00: Then emotions aren't so scary.
• 12:44
SPEAKER_00: And then you start recognizing that everybody else around you has these big fucking emotions that they can't handle either.
• 12:50
SPEAKER_00: But when you are stable in your energy, you can stay calm and be this space, safe space for other people to hold their big emotions.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_00: And that became a huge game changer for me as a mom.
• 13:01
  SPEAKER_00: And I'm so glad.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_00: Like, if nothing else, I'm so glad on this journey.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_00: This was a thing that I learned is how to recognize when I'm taking on the energies and emotions of others.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_00: And that's helped me be a better person.
• 13:18
SPEAKER_00: That's helped me be a better wife.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_00: That's helped me be a better mom.
• 13:22
SPEAKER_00: That's helped me be a better friend.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_00: Because I realize those big energies that I feel, that's what they're feeling, and now I can help them through it.
• 13:34
SPEAKER_00: I can hold them and give them space and walk them through it.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_00: And this is exactly what clairsentience is taking on the emotions and energies of others.
• 13:50
SPEAKER_00: And that's why clairsentience is exactly the same as being an empath.
• 13:58
SPEAKER_00: Because at some point in our evolution as souls and of people, because we are both here, we are human beings, we are of the 3D and we are of the spirit world.
• 14:11
SPEAKER_00: It's like 4D, 5D, whatever, whatever the other dimensions are, all 20-something of them, or there's probably more than that, there was an important part in our soul and physical evolution that needed to develop clairsentience or being an empath.
• 14:31
SPEAKER_00: Because at some point it was critical to our evolution and development as people and souls.
• 14:39
SPEAKER_00: And when you take that perspective, that there's something hugely valuable and beneficial in learning and feeling somebody else's emotions, again, now you can look at it and be like, wait a second, that's fucking cool.
• 14:56
SPEAKER_00: That's fuck how does that work, right?
• 14:58
SPEAKER_00: Like, how how is that work that I can actually take on the energies and emotions of somebody else?
• 15:06
SPEAKER_00: But do you know that I do that in reverse with my clients now?
• 15:11
SPEAKER_00: Now that I know that most of my clients come to me and they are empaths, because most of us are, like probably everyone listening to this podcast is raising their hand.
• 15:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm an empath too.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_00: I know that you absorb the energies and emotions of others.
• 15:27
SPEAKER_00: So you bet your ass if you book sessions with me, I come very calm and clear.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_00: And I come sending calm, loving energy at you so that you feel safe, so that you feel comfortable, so that your nervous system starts to rebalance.
• 15:45
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't that fucking cool?
• 15:47
SPEAKER_00: So now that you know that being an empath is the same as being a wicked, strong, clear sentient, and probably most of your friends are empaths too.
• 15:58
SPEAKER_00: Now you know how to help them when you start taking on their chaotic energy and you're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not mine.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna send back loving energy to them.
• 16:08
  SPEAKER_00: Now you get it.
• 16:10
SPEAKER_00: Now you get the podcast episode a few ago where I said, send light into the dark.
• 16:18
SPEAKER_00: Because if you go into the dark and you are an empath, what do you absorb?
• 16:23
SPEAKER_00: If you're not protecting your energy, you absorb the dark.
• 16:28
SPEAKER_00: But if you stay in your light and you send love to those people who need it, who are likely empaths as well, you're sending high vibration-loving energy that they will absorb and adjust their energy.
• 16:43
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't that fucking cool?
• 16:45
SPEAKER_00: Isn't that like the most amazing shit ever?
• 16:48
SPEAKER_00: And this is where the energetics of this stuff just blows my mind.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_00: And this is why I'm just insatiable with all of the knowledge that I want to learn from spirit and the energy and the energetics and the frequencies and all these really cool things is because now that we know how, we can start kind of like playing jump rope with it, right?
• 17:08
SPEAKER_00: Now we can start using it to our collective advantage, to our healing advantage.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_00: Now we can use it to help other people and not be victims of other people's bullshit, like toxic emotions.
• 17:23
SPEAKER_00: That is how we gain our power back in this space is by recognizing what's ours and helping people who are volatile in theirs.
• 17:38
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't that rad?
• 17:39
SPEAKER_00: Isn't that like the coolest shit in the world?
• 17:40
  SPEAKER_00: It's the coolest.
• 17:41
SPEAKER_00: Like I love this stuff.
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_00: I love that stuff.
• 17:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm seeing if there's anything else in my notes.
• 17:47
SPEAKER_00: Um maybe before we scoot out of here, again, some hints that you are an empath and you're taking on the emotions of others because I've already said it, but I'm gonna explicitly say it again.
• 18:04
SPEAKER_00: If you suddenly have mood changes, physical, bodily changes, like again, like me skiing, like getting nervous and then getting confident.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_00: If like sometimes I will walk by people and my knee will start to hurt, and then they will walk away and my knee doesn't hurt anymore.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_00: So notice anything that comes on suddenly and ask yourself, ask your intuition, is this mine?
• 18:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yes or no?
• 18:29
SPEAKER_00: You can use a body pendulum if you want.
• 18:31
SPEAKER_00: You you can YouTube that, Google it, and you can ask yourself, is this mine?
• 18:36
  SPEAKER_00: Yes or no?
• 18:36
SPEAKER_00: And if it's not yours, then you can kindly, just like shitty mail, return to sender.
• 18:42
SPEAKER_00: It's yours now, take it back.
• 18:44
SPEAKER_00: Take it back, I don't want it.
• 18:46
SPEAKER_00: And when you start to do that consistently and you start to notice your own energy start to even out, you're gonna start recognizing what's not yours faster and faster and faster.
• 18:59
SPEAKER_00: And that is gonna be a game changer in terms of your daily quality of life, in terms of emotions and vibrations.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_00: And don't you think it's gonna be so much easier to manifest, to be gracious and grateful, to stay in high vibrational alignment with yourself when you're not carrying the energetics of people who are not you?
• 19:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what manifestation's about.
• 19:30
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna get to that too.
• 19:31
SPEAKER_00: I'll write that down for a future podcast episode.
• 19:33
SPEAKER_00: Well, I hope, I hope you enjoyed this one.
• 19:36
  SPEAKER_00: Um, isn't it wild?
• 19:37
SPEAKER_00: Isn't it wild this story of being an empath and being clairsentient and how you can actually use that superpower for good?
• 19:45
SPEAKER_00: You go, Glen Coco, get your super, super man, super woman on, and go send out those loving, healing vibes everywhere you go because that is how we change the vibration of planet Earth.
• 20:00
  SPEAKER_00: All right.
• 20:01
SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hear how this hits for you.
• 20:03
SPEAKER_00: I love you, I love you, I love you.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_00: Um, if you have any questions, let me know.
• 20:07
SPEAKER_00: I'd love to answer them for you.
• 20:08
SPEAKER_00: And I hope you have an amazing fucking day.
• 20:10
  SPEAKER_00: Take care.
