- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show, the world's most trusted conspiracy
- 0:16Speaker 1: beery podcast, with your hosts Adam Todd Brown and Olivia Hidar.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy the Show. I'm Adam Todd Brown.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Who are you.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I'm Olivia Hidar and.
- 0:40Speaker 2: That makes us your hosts. Olivia, how's it going.
- 0:44Speaker 3: It's going good, It's going good. It's a you know,
- 0:48Speaker 3: been a long week. It's been a weird week as
- 0:50Speaker 3: far as the world goes, as far as life goes.
- 0:53Speaker 3: So yeah, but I'm good. How are you?
- 0:56Speaker 2: I mean, like the rest of the world, I'm very sad,
- 0:59Speaker 2: of course.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Broken, most devastated. It is shot.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I don't think anyone could have seen
- 1:04Speaker 2: it coming. But Queen Elizabeth has died.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Wow, so gun down in her prime.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Fuck off to the closets and get your blackest jumper
- 1:12Speaker 2: throw it on in remembrance.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Off my monocle to you, Queen.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I hope things continue to run smoothly in England while
- 1:20Speaker 2: this power vacuum exists. I know she does so many
- 1:24Speaker 2: actual things to keep that country running right.
- 1:27Speaker 3: No, of course, I mean there's always the worry that,
- 1:31Speaker 3: like some military junta might take you know control, Yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 3: in the meantime, like that's always a concern, you never know.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah, stay strong, England, stay strong. I feel like this
- 1:44Speaker 2: deserves our attention. The country of England deserves our attention.
- 1:47Speaker 2: We have to be here for of course, the country
- 1:50Speaker 2: of England. Also, someone messaged me recently and said we
- 1:53Speaker 2: should cover more British conspiracies. So yeah, I guess careful
- 1:57Speaker 2: what you wish for, because that guy, it seems like,
- 2:00Speaker 2: kind of killed the queen.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I wanted to say, like, I think we mostly
- 2:04Speaker 3: cover American related conspiracies because we're Americans. Yeah, and that's
- 2:09Speaker 3: kind of what we know. So but I do like
- 2:13Speaker 3: talking about the good old Brits.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think we've covered some stuff. I think
- 2:20Speaker 2: this is the pod where we talked about the UK
- 2:22Speaker 2: spy cop scandal where the I don't know if you
- 2:27Speaker 2: were on the episode, but the Metropolitan PD, which is
- 2:30Speaker 2: like NYPD of London, were in hot water because they
- 2:34Speaker 2: were sending out undercover cops to like infiltrate activist groups
- 2:39Speaker 2: and shit, oh geez. And what they were doing in
- 2:42Speaker 2: some cases was they would like form full on romantic
- 2:46Speaker 2: relationships with the people they were spying on.
- 2:49Speaker 1: In one.
- 2:50Speaker 2: In one case, a guy married a woman and had
- 2:53Speaker 2: a kid with her, and the whole time he was
- 2:55Speaker 2: living under this assumed identity because she was too invol
- 3:00Speaker 2: with environmentalists for the UK governments. Was nuts.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Oh, so sad.
- 3:07Speaker 2: We talked. We talk about England from time to time.
- 3:10Speaker 3: We talked about the bombings from two thousand and five.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Some stuff that we're going to cover today we've
- 3:17Speaker 2: already talked about, like the death of Princess Diana. We
- 3:20Speaker 2: have a full episode about that. I kind of wish
- 3:23Speaker 2: we could do an episode about that, like once a year.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's my favorite. It's one of my favorite conspiracies, just
- 3:31Speaker 2: because I believe it so much. But sure, we'll talk
- 3:34Speaker 2: about it.
- 3:34Speaker 3: We will.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Today we're talking about ten royal family related conspiracies, in
- 3:40Speaker 2: no particular order. We're keeping it cash. We're two grief stricken,
- 3:44Speaker 2: of course, to do any you know, really laborious research.
- 3:49Speaker 2: We're not members of the Labor Party anyway.
- 3:51Speaker 3: No, we aren't members of the Labor Party. That it would.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Be is that the good one over there? I don't know.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I know North and South are all the lunkheads live
- 4:02Speaker 2: in the North and all the people live in the South,
- 4:04Speaker 2: whereas in the US it's the first.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's and thought of it l way. Yeah, that's true.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So don't worry everyone, You're in good hands. We clearly
- 4:15Speaker 2: have a lot of knowledge and information about the UK,
- 4:19Speaker 2: and now, of course we're going to guide you through
- 4:22Speaker 2: this exploration of royal family related conspiracy theories. This first one, God,
- 4:29Speaker 2: it took me so long to realize that this is
- 4:33Speaker 2: not about Jason Lee of my name is Earl Fame,
- 4:39Speaker 2: because I would google this guy and that's whose picture
- 4:42Speaker 2: would pop up, and it didn't seem completely outside the
- 4:46Speaker 2: realm of possibility that Jason Lee of my name is
- 4:50Speaker 2: Earl Fame would have started a Hollywood gossip outlet.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Well, I mean, Jason Lee, of my Name is Earl
- 4:57Speaker 3: Fame is a scientologist famously, so yeah, anything exactly.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But it was a different Jason Lee, a blogger who
- 5:10Speaker 2: back in February became convinced that the Queen had already died.
- 5:15Speaker 2: That is conspiracy theory number one, that the Queen died
- 5:20Speaker 2: a long time ago.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And look, this is a really easy mistake to make,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and it's because whenever a British royal is not moving,
- 5:30Speaker 3: they look dead.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah, chances are they're dead if they're not moving.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they actually die for a little while and then
- 5:38Speaker 3: just come back to life. It's like a hybrid to
- 5:41Speaker 3: move around.
- 5:42Speaker 2: It's like a hybrid vehicle. How you know, one of
- 5:46Speaker 2: those that engine will just stop.
- 5:48Speaker 3: And it's because while she walks around, And.
- 5:51Speaker 2: That makes sense because hybrid vehicles do that. The royal
- 5:54Speaker 2: family have that hybrid bloodline that we're going to talk
- 5:57Speaker 2: about later, which that's that's what makes them stop when
- 6:02Speaker 2: they're idoling. So, yeah, the queen actually died in February.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That is this first conspiracy. It was a blogger again
- 6:11Speaker 2: named Jason Lee, posted on his site Hollywood Unlocked and
- 6:15Speaker 2: claimed the queen had died. If I'm not mistaken, Hollywood
- 6:18Speaker 2: Unlocked it's a British site though, right, yes, So minds
- 6:22Speaker 2: your business, Jason Lee. How about you? How about you
- 6:25Speaker 2: talk about the Hollywood of England, which is what England
- 6:28Speaker 2: probably do they have?
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess it. I guess it would be London.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, is that where they make all the movies, all
- 6:34Speaker 2: the guy Ritchie films that make their way to.
- 6:36Speaker 3: All the guy films, they're all made in London. They're
- 6:39Speaker 3: all made right there. Smack dab, they're actually made in
- 6:43Speaker 3: that giant pine cone building.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So he posted on Hollywood Unlocked and claimed the queen
- 6:51Speaker 2: had died. And the thing is that happens a lot
- 6:55Speaker 2: like these outlets, these tiny outlets will post inflammatory or
- 6:59Speaker 2: crazy news and then it finally, oh, sorry, we were wrong,
- 7:02Speaker 2: but they're just trying to get attention. When people called
- 7:04Speaker 2: him out about this, he doubled down and was like,
- 7:07Speaker 2: we do not post false stories and we stand by
- 7:11Speaker 2: our claim. And they were like, well, who's your source,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and he was like, I'm the source. Deal with it, missy.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And then of course it came to light a few
- 7:19Speaker 2: days later that the queen was not dead. There were
- 7:21Speaker 2: pictures of her posted showing her to be alive.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Hmm, yeah, supposedly right, because she was right exactly.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So after that happened, he finally took because he stuck
- 7:37Speaker 2: with it for a few days and then finally took
- 7:40Speaker 2: this Instagram post down and apologized. But there's still no
- 7:44Speaker 2: word where he got this information or who told him.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I bet he just made it up.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean right. It seems like such a weird
- 7:58Speaker 2: thing to do, though, because he already had a decent following.
- 8:01Speaker 2: He had, yeah, like a pretty sizable audience before that.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I mean, I guess it would be a thing you
- 8:06Speaker 2: could do for publicity. But I think she had COVID
- 8:10Speaker 2: around that time.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, I mean maybe he thought she died. Maybe yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 3: maybe he just like overheard it at work or something.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Or was just guessing she went in for COVID and
- 8:21Speaker 2: he was like, this is the day, I can feel it.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I bet she's dead.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna post it first.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I mean, we just know that she wasn't, so whoever
- 8:31Speaker 3: gave him the information was also an idiot.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I just feel like if I was running an outlet
- 8:37Speaker 2: of that size and I reported that the queen was dead,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and then I looked around at all the other media
- 8:42Speaker 2: outlets and none of them are reporting it, I'd be like,
- 8:45Speaker 2: I bet I didn't get this scoop first. Something else
- 8:49Speaker 2: is going on here. Perhaps I'm wrong.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Yeah, it just feels like, yeah, if you're gonna claim
- 8:53Speaker 3: that someone is dead and then they turn out to
- 8:56Speaker 3: be alive, you should probably be able to like back
- 8:58Speaker 3: that up, like you know, but legally.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But relax. February twenty twenty two, England. The Queen is
- 9:06Speaker 2: not dead. She's dead now, No, she's yes, But back then, no,
- 9:10Speaker 2: she was fine, she was fine.
- 9:12Speaker 3: No, she was almost dead.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's been it's been the case for like
- 9:17Speaker 2: twenty years now. Sure thin. You know she was in
- 9:19Speaker 2: office too long. I'm gonna be honest.
- 9:22Speaker 3: You think he was in office for You think the
- 9:24Speaker 3: royal was in office for a little too long?
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think I'm gonna be honest. Even I'm
- 9:29Speaker 2: gonna be even more honest. I think that whole royal
- 9:32Speaker 2: family system might be a little outdated and unnecessary in
- 9:37Speaker 2: terms of Yeah, I mean, I know it's crazy. I
- 9:39Speaker 2: know because I know the country relies on them for
- 9:42Speaker 2: so many things.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, they're so essential, they two so much
- 9:47Speaker 3: good for people.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I read when I was researching this, one of the
- 9:52Speaker 2: conspiracy theories one of these outlets listed was that the
- 9:56Speaker 2: royal family doesn't do anything right. And they were like, uh,
- 10:01Speaker 2: this is false. They have to go to several public
- 10:05Speaker 2: appearances throughout the year, and they were like one of
- 10:08Speaker 2: them even did five hundred appearances in one year, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: it's like, Okay, they still don't do anything right.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he's taking this, he's taking that rather literally. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 3: I would say, yeah, he is right. Of course they
- 10:23Speaker 3: are very busy.
- 10:26Speaker 2: He's like, of course they move around and do things.
- 10:28Speaker 2: They die if they don't. It's that hybrid bloodline exactly.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Read your David books.
- 10:36Speaker 3: There are so many people British people. They just there's
- 10:42Speaker 3: so many British people who really care about the queen.
- 10:45Speaker 3: And that's that's fair, and like I get it, but
- 10:48Speaker 3: also like I don't know there that just is a
- 10:51Speaker 3: cognitive leap that I find interesting and and you know,
- 10:55Speaker 3: and there's plenty of people in Britain who don't give
- 10:57Speaker 3: a shit about the I mean, like obviously, but it's just.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Funny, crazier when people in the United States care about
- 11:04Speaker 2: the Royal Yeah. And I only know one person. I'm
- 11:06Speaker 2: confident she doesn't listen to this podcast. But if she does,
- 11:10Speaker 2: you know who you are. And I'm sorry, but I
- 11:12Speaker 2: think your obsession with the royal family is a little bonkers,
- 11:16Speaker 2: even if your husband is British, which fair fair enough,
- 11:22Speaker 2: But does your husband care about the royal family that much?
- 11:25Speaker 2: I feel like he probably doesn't. I've never asked, but man,
- 11:29Speaker 2: I guarantee you she has broken up about Queen Elizabeth dying. Sure,
- 11:34Speaker 2: And that's like you know, you live in Texas. Stop it.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it is weird, Like there is something fundamentally weird
- 11:44Speaker 3: about an American loving a British hon art. It's just
- 11:49Speaker 3: kind of weird, you know, Like look, and I'm not
- 11:52Speaker 3: a patriot or any like, you know, I don't give
- 11:55Speaker 3: a shit about America. But also, like you know, one
- 11:57Speaker 3: of the it was like good to get away from
- 12:02Speaker 3: the monarchy, like that was a good thing to do, so,
- 12:07Speaker 3: you know, I would have agreed with it then, and
- 12:10Speaker 3: I don't like the motarchy now. It's just funny that
- 12:12Speaker 3: there are so many people who will just if you
- 12:14Speaker 3: talk about this, like if for some reason, like a
- 12:17Speaker 3: tweet about this episode goes viral, people go fucking wild
- 12:23Speaker 3: protecting the you know, the monarchy. It's it's crazy.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Probably. Yeah. Conspiracy theory number two QAnon fucking blah blah blah.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I'm so goddamn tired of talking about QAnon. Of course,
- 12:36Speaker 2: there are articles about them finding significance in this, like
- 12:42Speaker 2: how she died on nine eight in nine plus eight
- 12:45Speaker 2: that equals seventeen and seventeen that's the seventeenth letter of
- 12:49Speaker 2: the alphabet. Is Q Open your eyes, Olivia.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Of course, Yeah, no, and seventeen. I mean, that's only
- 12:55Speaker 3: six less than the number twenty three, you know, and
- 12:58Speaker 3: then that'll kill Jim Carre and make him write an
- 13:02Speaker 3: awful noir novel that was dramatized in that movie for
- 13:07Speaker 3: some reason. Anyway, Yeah, this sucks. I fuck you. I'm
- 13:11Speaker 3: so sick of QAnon.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I hate that people are taking them almost
- 13:16Speaker 2: like entertainment.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Now.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, like I can't imagine. I mean, with all
- 13:21Speaker 2: due respect to the people making QAnon podcasts, I hear
- 13:25Speaker 2: some of them are very good, but also I don't
- 13:28Speaker 2: know how much you're helping, Like, I don't know how
- 13:30Speaker 2: much light needs to be shed on QAnon anymore. Like
- 13:35Speaker 2: it's something like we like, I feel like there's a
- 13:37Speaker 2: fine line between being a q and On believer and
- 13:42Speaker 2: obsessively following what q andon believers believe. Like, yeah, there's
- 13:48Speaker 2: not a whole lot of difference between those two things.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Like you're one of you is the fire and one
- 13:54Speaker 2: of you is the fuel.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, we've done a couple episodes that have involved QAnon,
- 14:02Speaker 3: But I think I guess me for both of us
- 14:04Speaker 3: when I say, outside of that, when something crosses into
- 14:08Speaker 3: the threshold of you know, the purview of our podcast,
- 14:11Speaker 3: we don't think about QAnon at all, Like it's just
- 14:17Speaker 3: not something that I care enough to think about outside
- 14:21Speaker 3: of work.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so fuck it, let's talk about something real.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Of course the queen is a reptilian. This is a
- 14:29Speaker 2: British conspiracy we have talked about a few times in
- 14:33Speaker 2: various forms on this podcast. It all comes from David
- 14:38Speaker 2: Ike former David Ike, former football host. Yeah, we're actually
- 14:43Speaker 2: professional football player.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Wow. And then he former my Space friend to Olivia Hydar,
- 14:50Speaker 3: fifteen year old Olivia Hidar.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Congrats quite the name drop there, I know. And uh yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 2: he's like go back and listen. We covered a documentary
- 15:01Speaker 2: about his life. Me and Connor did an episode about
- 15:05Speaker 2: David Ike. So there's lots of podcast fodder out there
- 15:09Speaker 2: if you want to go hear more about him. But
- 15:11Speaker 2: his defining conspiracy theory in life is that all members
- 15:17Speaker 2: of the Illuminati, and of course the royal family are
- 15:20Speaker 2: members of the Illuminatia of course, are actually descendants of
- 15:24Speaker 2: ancient hybrids between reptilian aliens and humans. And he claims
- 15:32Speaker 2: he's traveled to more than fifty countries researching this theory
- 15:36Speaker 2: and that people all over the globe have provided the
- 15:40Speaker 2: exact same evidence to back up the theory, including several
- 15:44Speaker 2: CIA insiders, at which point I'm like, David Ike, No,
- 15:49Speaker 2: don't believe it. It's the CIA, buddy. They're probably not
- 15:54Speaker 2: telling you the truth. They might be trying to sow
- 15:57Speaker 2: some discord within your nation, because that's what intelligence agencies do,
- 16:02Speaker 2: and they just recognized you as gullible enough to be
- 16:05Speaker 2: the one to spread it.
- 16:07Speaker 3: He's traveled the world doing research and everyone has told
- 16:11Speaker 3: him the same type of information. Bullshit, that's it.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, he has a quote here, a couple quotes. It
- 16:19Speaker 2: took the form of meeting people who tell of experiences
- 16:22Speaker 2: of seeing people, often in positions of power, changed from
- 16:27Speaker 2: human form to a reptilian form and back again in
- 16:31Speaker 2: front of their eyes. So you know he's telling the
- 16:34Speaker 2: truth because people have told him, of course. And here's
- 16:37Speaker 2: the thing. I was arguing with a girl in New Mexico.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Once about a classic mistake.
- 16:44Speaker 2: About police shootings, and her opinion was, all the cops
- 16:49Speaker 2: I know are nice, So how bad can cops really be?
- 16:53Speaker 2: And I bring that up for no real reason because
- 16:56Speaker 2: the important thing she told me during the course of
- 16:59Speaker 2: that night is that at one point she saw a
- 17:01Speaker 2: woman turn into an owl before her howls and then
- 17:05Speaker 2: turn back into a human person.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Form uh wait, just and that's it, like owl and
- 17:11Speaker 3: back alan back.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yeah, she turned into an owl, and there was really
- 17:16Speaker 2: no rhyme or reason as to why she turned into
- 17:18Speaker 2: an owl or what significance it had. But I certainly
- 17:21Speaker 2: didn't take that as impetus for starting a new career
- 17:26Speaker 2: in proving that people can turn into owls and back again.
- 17:30Speaker 2: But did, say David Ike did?
- 17:32Speaker 3: But wait, no, okay, wait, what was her interpretation of that?
- 17:38Speaker 3: Like what did she think that that meant?
- 17:41Speaker 4: She?
- 17:42Speaker 2: I think believed the woman was a witch?
- 17:44Speaker 3: A witch?
- 17:45Speaker 2: A witch okay, sorry, a brewhare okay?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Specific okay, And I mean no, no, okay, got a check.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean but she was white leaning with that
- 18:00Speaker 2: opinion on the cops, So.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I mean, sure, but white tendencies, Okay, So she thought
- 18:08Speaker 3: it was it's just funny that why would she why
- 18:11Speaker 3: would she turn into an owl and then turn back
- 18:14Speaker 3: into a person without doing any owl thing?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, like you're not gonna fly somewhere like yeah, because
- 18:19Speaker 2: I'm telling you, if I had that power, I would
- 18:22Speaker 2: almost exclusively use it for one thing, which is running
- 18:25Speaker 2: to the store. Oh, I would fucking owl up hit
- 18:30Speaker 2: Albertson's buy what I need. Hopefully I can fly it
- 18:33Speaker 2: back with my yeah, considerable talents. If not, I mean
- 18:36Speaker 2: I can make multiple trips. I can fly nothing right,
- 18:40Speaker 2: leave shit on the roof.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought you were gonna say you're gonna eat
- 18:44Speaker 3: you'd eat mice. That would be the one thing.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I mean, I could eat mice now if I wanted to.
- 18:48Speaker 2: That's not I don't need to be an owl to
- 18:50Speaker 2: eat a mouse. Uh. I'd probably have to be an
- 18:52Speaker 2: owl to enjoy it. But or a snake. I don't anyway,
- 18:58Speaker 2: Maybe mice are delicious, So yeah, David Ike, here's another
- 19:02Speaker 2: quote in texts around the world you find recurring these
- 19:05Speaker 2: Garden of Eden's situations involving reptilian entities. The Hebrew name
- 19:11Speaker 2: for snake means two legged, standing upright humanoid reptile. End quote, Mike,
- 19:16Speaker 2: fucking drop? Uh huh?
- 19:18Speaker 3: Is that? Does that? Is that true? I don't, I mean,
- 19:22Speaker 3: is that true?
- 19:22Speaker 2: There are lots of similar creation stories out there in
- 19:28Speaker 2: the world, Like that's what's so funny about? Well, when
- 19:31Speaker 2: Christians will hear about someone's religious beliefs and be like,
- 19:35Speaker 2: are you believe what it's like? You believe the snake thing?
- 19:38Speaker 3: Calm down, well no, but I mean like no, really
- 19:40Speaker 3: does the Hebrew name for snake mean to like it's
- 19:43Speaker 3: standing upright humanoid reptile. I just want I don't know
- 19:47Speaker 3: that that is true.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I mean David Ike said it's true. So I don't
- 19:53Speaker 2: know what else you need? Uh, you know, let's let's
- 19:56Speaker 2: do that research on the fly. This is a this
- 19:59Speaker 2: is a on the fly research segment. That's a new
- 20:02Speaker 2: segment to this show man. Hebrew for snake is also
- 20:06Speaker 2: associated with divination, including the verb form meaning to practice
- 20:10Speaker 2: divination or fortune telling. I don't know, I don't know.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I mean that's good.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Well, you know what, he could be just making this up.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I think maybe David Ike is not an honest person.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I mean that's that's a bold assessment of a stone
- 20:25Speaker 2: cold beloved British figure.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Of course, yes, as beloved as the queen.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Beloved personality David Ike.
- 20:34Speaker 3: All right, Well theory he's also I mean, you know,
- 20:38Speaker 3: also reptilian conspiracy theories are a total anti Semitic ruse. Yeah,
- 20:44Speaker 3: that's all that is.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It sucks very bad. Times.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Speaking of something that sucks.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, how about this one, Queen Elizabeth I was secretly
- 20:54Speaker 2: a man baby. Oh yeah, that's an Awestin Powers reference.
- 20:59Speaker 3: It is. It's the worst Austin Powers reference.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, thank you.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I love theme. That's just the worst seed of the movie.
- 21:06Speaker 3: So it was it was a tough choice.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have super duper strong feelings about Austin Power.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever even seen it's a third movie.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Well, the third one sucks from whatever. I haven't watched
- 21:18Speaker 3: it in years, but I've rewatched the first one recently
- 21:22Speaker 3: and it fucking rules. It's just like it's got a
- 21:24Speaker 3: couple of lines like that that suck.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 3: So anyway, this theory.
- 21:29Speaker 2: This theory history has since kind of chalked this up
- 21:33Speaker 2: to being just like vintage misogyny because transphobia. Yeah, because
- 21:40Speaker 2: Queen Elizabeth the First defeated the Spanish Armada and no
- 21:44Speaker 2: woman could do that. No, I mean that, no emotional
- 21:49Speaker 2: woman could do that, and you need an emotional man
- 21:52Speaker 2: to defeat the Spanish Armada. And it really does seem
- 21:55Speaker 2: like that, like if you read this like and it's good,
- 21:58Speaker 2: it's good that if you read about this Now almost
- 22:01Speaker 2: any instance you read about it, they're gonna be like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: this is bullshit, it's massage. Yeah, and that's why. But
- 22:08Speaker 2: the uh, it's called the Bisley Boy legend and it's absurd.
- 22:13Speaker 2: As the legend goes, then, Princess Elizabeth was being taken
- 22:18Speaker 2: care of by unnamed caregivers in the village of Bisley,
- 22:23Speaker 2: and she died unexpectedly, and so to avoid the wrath
- 22:27Speaker 2: of Henry the Eighth, the locals replaced her with a
- 22:32Speaker 2: boy with red hair, and that is what the legend
- 22:38Speaker 2: goes from there. People cite her wig collection as proof
- 22:42Speaker 2: that she had male pattern baldness and the fact that
- 22:45Speaker 2: she wore a bunch of makeup to you know, her
- 22:48Speaker 2: being a boy, because she was the only one wearing
- 22:51Speaker 2: a ton of makeup and wigs at that point in history.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Yeah. No, that definitely wasn't like the style in England.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Found stopped with all the whig stuff in England's sense.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, this is absurd.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Yeah, this this is weird. It sucks.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Like thanks, they replaced his female child with a male child,
- 23:13Speaker 2: and he was just like, okay, yeah that makes sense,
- 23:16Speaker 2: it's fine, Like sure, I don't know how old was
- 23:20Speaker 2: she when this is alleged to have happened, Like, was
- 23:22Speaker 2: she in on it?
- 23:23Speaker 4: You know, I don't know, And like, you know, there's
- 23:26Speaker 4: there are actually I don't think it's one of the
- 23:29Speaker 4: things that we're going to talk about today, but like
- 23:31Speaker 4: there's another theory or you know, it's just an idea
- 23:34Speaker 4: about King Richard the third in his androgyny, oh yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 4: and that he may have been.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Intersex or something along those lines. So you know, it's
- 23:45Speaker 3: not an unprecedented thing. It just you know, we just
- 23:48Speaker 3: know it wasn't true because of how the rest of
- 23:51Speaker 3: history played out. I don't know, it's just just doesn't
- 23:54Speaker 3: seem likely that she had I you know, I guess
- 23:56Speaker 3: she The idea is then she would have had to
- 23:59Speaker 3: like how did she have kids?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Yeah, there's there's a whole lot of questions. I still
- 24:03Speaker 2: want to know. How you make that switch and Henry
- 24:07Speaker 2: the eighth doesn't notice? Was he just psyched, well his
- 24:10Speaker 2: daughter was a son now or yeah?
- 24:13Speaker 3: I mean they just put an extra large ham in
- 24:16Speaker 3: front of his face while they made the switch and
- 24:19Speaker 3: he just didn't notice. I mean, like that guy, you know,
- 24:23Speaker 3: I feel like he could have gotten some stuff past
- 24:25Speaker 3: Henry the Eighth in the end.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, probably not the most attentive father. Yeah, I could
- 24:31Speaker 2: see that for sure.
- 24:32Speaker 3: He was too busy expanding. You know. You know a
- 24:34Speaker 3: great thing about Henry the Eighth is that he exploded
- 24:38Speaker 3: in his coffin because it was sealed shut and he
- 24:42Speaker 3: was very large, and so there was no air they
- 24:45Speaker 3: could get in.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So is that true? Yes, that's amazing. Yep, what an idiot.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Yeah, he sucked.
- 24:53Speaker 2: He was a monster, Sure was so. Yeah, Queen Elizabeth.
- 24:58Speaker 2: There's actually a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding Queen Elizabeth.
- 25:03Speaker 3: And sure very famous figure. It happens.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Another big one, which is, I would argue slightly
- 25:10Speaker 2: less demeaning and inflammatory toward her character she was secretly Shakespeare. Well,
- 25:18Speaker 2: which that's neat. So did Shakespeare defeat the Spanish Armada?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean like this could also be part of
- 25:27Speaker 3: her being secretly a man. Uh Yeah, but I don't
- 25:32Speaker 3: think they mean literally, Yeah.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I think in this case they mean the woman Queen
- 25:37Speaker 2: Elizabeth the first was writing under the name Shakespeare. And
- 25:42Speaker 2: that's not an uncommon conspiracy theory. There's a whole list
- 25:46Speaker 2: of people who are kind of alleged to be William Shakespeare.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Right, there's all sorts of theories around Shakespeare also, I
- 25:56Speaker 3: mean in general, like including this, including who was it at.
- 26:03Speaker 2: The time, franciscon Bacon, Yeah, Francis Bacon, you know, yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 2: one list I saw it it list Queen Elizabeth I
- 26:12Speaker 2: I William Stanley, sixth Earl of Derby, of course, Edward
- 26:16Speaker 2: devere Earl of Oxford, and Francis Bacon. Oh and Christopher Marlowe.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And of course Christopher Marlowe, he's the big But like,
- 26:25Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't like that stuff. I've never
- 26:28Speaker 3: been a fan of those sorts of ideas kind of
- 26:31Speaker 3: bugs me.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Yeah. They say the same thing about JK Rowling, don't they,
- 26:34Speaker 2: That she's like actually like a factory. And at one
- 26:38Speaker 2: point I remember, well.
- 26:39Speaker 3: That's slightly different. That's like if someone like it gets
- 26:43Speaker 3: that famous and has like just a million ghost writers
- 26:45Speaker 3: and shit.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Right, But yeah, the claim around JK Rowling was more
- 26:50Speaker 2: that well, she wouldn't have had time to write all
- 26:53Speaker 2: those books. Like at the time when that theory was
- 26:55Speaker 2: going around, people were also like, hmmm, that's misogynists. But
- 26:58Speaker 2: now JK Rowling so and everyone's like, fuck, I don't
- 27:01Speaker 2: care maybe she didn't write those books.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say, like I don't really care. Yeah,
- 27:06Speaker 3: I mean, like whatever, but like I you know, I
- 27:09Speaker 3: wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't write whatever fucking bullshit
- 27:12Speaker 3: she writes now. But like as far as Harry Potter goes,
- 27:15Speaker 3: from what I understand, is very clear that she wrote
- 27:18Speaker 3: those and you know, Shakespeare existed, and you know, I
- 27:23Speaker 3: don't know, it just kind of bones me out. I
- 27:26Speaker 3: like Shakespeare and I just want him to be a
- 27:29Speaker 3: real guy.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And I mean, to this conspiracy theories credit at least
- 27:33Speaker 2: the reason people cite Queen Elizabeth the First as maybe
- 27:37Speaker 2: being Shakespeare's because she was really smart and she is
- 27:40Speaker 2: I mean yeah. And also a lot of Shakespeare's plays
- 27:44Speaker 2: kind of were propaganda that promoted the Tutor dynasty, which
- 27:48Speaker 2: would also Yeah, but it's like what else are they
- 27:51Speaker 2: going to be, Like people are getting they keep people happy, man.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Well, like you're writing stories about people that everybody in
- 28:00Speaker 3: your audience would know. Like that's who you're going to
- 28:03Speaker 3: write your historical epics about. He also wrote shit about
- 28:06Speaker 3: you know, Italy and you know ancient Rome and Scotland
- 28:11Speaker 3: and so you know, but whatever, all.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Right, let's get to this one early, Like your favorite
- 28:16Speaker 2: band surprisingly playing their biggest hit a third of the
- 28:19Speaker 2: way into the set list. The Royal Family had Princess
- 28:24Speaker 2: Diana killed. I fucking believe this. Sure, we did a
- 28:28Speaker 2: whole episode about it. I don't want to go into
- 28:30Speaker 2: all the details, but I mean, when you're talking murder,
- 28:33Speaker 2: it's usually was their motive. Did they have the memes,
- 28:37Speaker 2: did they have the opportunity The Royal Family had all
- 28:40Speaker 2: of that when it came to Princess Diana, Like she
- 28:43Speaker 2: was already turning into a very bad look for them
- 28:48Speaker 2: with the interviews she had, Like she had those secret
- 28:51Speaker 2: recordings that she released, there was that book, and now
- 28:55Speaker 2: it seemed like she was maybe gonna marry a Muslim guy.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And I don't know if the Royal Family would have
- 29:02Speaker 2: been crazy about that. And just the circumstances around her
- 29:05Speaker 2: death are so fucking weird.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I'm always bothered by surveillance cameras that conveniently don't work.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And when Princess Diana died, there were ten surveillance cameras
- 29:18Speaker 2: in that tunnel that all were inoperable at that time. Yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 2: for some reason, I mean, that could just be a coincidence,
- 29:26Speaker 2: but it also feels like pre planning of some sort.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah, that's a lot of cameras, It's.
- 29:33Speaker 2: A whole lot in that one area, the one area
- 29:37Speaker 2: you need them to be right.
- 29:39Speaker 3: This is one of those theories that I just I
- 29:41Speaker 3: don't really have an opinion on it, Like I don't.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case. I
- 29:47Speaker 3: just haven't read anything about it really, Like I just
- 29:50Speaker 3: kind of understand the idea, like it makes sense on
- 29:53Speaker 3: a you know, gut level, but I try not to
- 29:57Speaker 3: just go on that.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I mean, look into it sometimes. I'm sure I'm are nuts.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Like I said, this is not me being a denier
- 30:06Speaker 3: or whatever. Like I'm just literally saying like, yeah, like
- 30:10Speaker 3: I've heard very vague basic things about this, but it's
- 30:14Speaker 3: just not one that I'm like really familiar with.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah. One of the rumors around her death is that
- 30:20Speaker 2: she was also pregnant at the time, Dodi al Fayed's child,
- 30:25Speaker 2: and one of the weirdest details about her death she
- 30:30Speaker 2: was embalmed before the autopsy, which is not a thing
- 30:35Speaker 2: that is supposed to happen, especially not in France. It's
- 30:37Speaker 2: illegal and they couldn't do any blood tests. They couldn't
- 30:42Speaker 2: do any blood tests because of that, and because they
- 30:45Speaker 2: couldn't do blood tests, they couldn't confirm if she was
- 30:47Speaker 2: pregnant or not. And the coroner at the time said
- 30:51Speaker 2: he did it because he didn't want the body to
- 30:54Speaker 2: be decomposing. When Prince Charles and his sisters arrived to
- 30:58Speaker 2: collect the body. It's like ship put it on ice,
- 31:01Speaker 2: for sure. So, yeah, that's a weird on. Well, I'll
- 31:04Speaker 2: link to the episodes in the show notes. Yeah, people
- 31:07Speaker 2: want to go listen to them again. Came out a
- 31:09Speaker 2: few years ago, so I always think, like, my podcasts
- 31:13Speaker 2: from like a year ago are just so much worse
- 31:16Speaker 2: than what I'm doing now. And I've been doing this
- 31:18Speaker 2: for like years, but every fucking year I'm like, man,
- 31:21Speaker 2: I'm finally good at this. So I don't know, it's
- 31:23Speaker 2: an older episode, it might suck, but I guarantee there's.
- 31:27Speaker 3: The older episodes are great.
- 31:28Speaker 2: But yeah, the Royal family had Princess Diana killed. It
- 31:33Speaker 2: is one of the conspiracy theories I am most confident in. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 2: like in my whole almost as confident as Elvis joined
- 31:41Speaker 2: Witness Protection.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I'd love it.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I'm Also, that's that's how Elvis would want his career
- 31:48Speaker 2: to end, fucking helping out law enforcement.
- 31:52Speaker 3: It would have been cool if, like Tarantino style, that's
- 31:56Speaker 3: what boz Lerman ended his Elvis movie with. That would
- 32:00Speaker 3: have been great. Yeah, just like what he wanted to happen.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that would have been amazing.
- 32:04Speaker 3: That movie is good, but that would have made it
- 32:06Speaker 3: a five star masterpiece. So yeah, So Princess Diana the
- 32:10Speaker 3: Royals killed.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Her, The Royals killed her, and another really believable one
- 32:15Speaker 2: coming hot on the heels of that. Prince Charles is
- 32:17Speaker 2: a vampire?
- 32:18Speaker 3: Sure? Why not?
- 32:19Speaker 2: And here's the thing. If we're talking like metaphorically, sure,
- 32:23Speaker 2: like the whole royal family, yeah, our vampires.
- 32:27Speaker 3: But this is he talking aesthetically, of course.
- 32:31Speaker 2: But this all seems like it just stems from the
- 32:33Speaker 2: fact that Prince Charles is distantly related to Vlad the Impaler.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I mean, and look, that's not not sinister like that
- 32:48Speaker 3: definitely has some bizarre geopolitical implications. But yeah, yeah, it
- 32:55Speaker 3: means he's a literal vampire. Because for one thing, if
- 32:58Speaker 3: I were a vampire, be pissed that I still look
- 33:01Speaker 3: like that?
- 33:02Speaker 2: Yeah, like, how late did they get him that right, exactly?
- 33:07Speaker 2: And also, how do we explain the fact that he's
- 33:10Speaker 2: been aging this whole time? Is that just I feel
- 33:14Speaker 2: like we see him in the sun. Well maybe not.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I've ever seen a British person in the sun. I
- 33:23Speaker 2: don't know. I honestly don't know. Maybe they are all
- 33:26Speaker 2: vampires over there.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Yeah, no, they all burst into flame when exposed to sunlight.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Good God, because he's a vampire.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, I mean whatever, I mean, what's the difference, honestly,
- 33:44Speaker 3: like that being a royal member of the British Royal
- 33:48Speaker 3: family and being a blood sucking immortal who yeah, like
- 33:52Speaker 3: they don't the blood of innocence.
- 33:54Speaker 2: They don't have to pay taxes, so they're vampires in
- 33:57Speaker 2: that way exactly.
- 33:59Speaker 3: They don't have to pay taxes, and they are rich
- 34:01Speaker 3: as fuck and they just live off everybody else.
- 34:04Speaker 2: In another one of the articles I read when I
- 34:06Speaker 2: was researching this, it was something like thirty two conspiracy
- 34:11Speaker 2: theories about the Royal family, and you could tell they
- 34:14Speaker 2: were really trying to pad it out, and one of
- 34:17Speaker 2: them was, Oh, the Royal family doesn't pay taxes, and
- 34:20Speaker 2: this writer was like, nuh uh, they have tax exempt status.
- 34:25Speaker 2: But the queen has to pay taxes on her private income.
- 34:28Speaker 2: It's like, what's the queen doing to generate private income?
- 34:32Speaker 2: Is she working at Coldstone Creamery or something? There's no way.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Yeah. And if you think, even if she does receive
- 34:38Speaker 3: private income, that she ever pays a fucking cent of
- 34:41Speaker 3: taxes on it, you are hopelessly naive.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Yeah. This was the same article that argued the royal
- 34:48Speaker 2: family does actually do a lot because they have to
- 34:51Speaker 2: go to all those public appearances. It's like, I'll do it.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I'll make those public appearances instead.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Sure, can I also be a figurehead? I've always wanted
- 35:01Speaker 3: to be a figurehead?
- 35:02Speaker 2: Yeah? Can I not pay taxes? Because the I R
- 35:04Speaker 2: S doesn't seem to think I cannot pay taxes? That
- 35:07Speaker 2: all right?
- 35:08Speaker 3: The British version of the I R S that's what
- 35:11Speaker 3: they call it. It's the same, you know.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But it's just the taxman. It's just the taxman. There's
- 35:17Speaker 2: a Beatles song about it.
- 35:18Speaker 3: The Taxman.
- 35:19Speaker 2: They call it the Taxman.
- 35:20Speaker 3: That was awful.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Taxman's a good song, though.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Sure, Taxman's great. Beatles are good.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Coming out with the controversial Beatles good.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Beatles good, Elvis good. I'm on a hot streak.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Here we are on fire, all right, This next one,
- 35:41Speaker 2: this is so fucking weird. Yeah, Prince Charles and Princess
- 35:45Speaker 2: Diana had a secret daughter. I mean that's just weird
- 35:49Speaker 2: on the surface because if they had a daughter, why
- 35:52Speaker 2: why would that daughter be secret? Like, that's not it's
- 35:55Speaker 2: not how the royal family works. But the the way
- 35:58Speaker 2: this one works is Diana had to get a fertility
- 36:02Speaker 2: test before she could marry Prince Charles because they could
- 36:06Speaker 2: make so they could make sure they kept that hybrid
- 36:09Speaker 2: bloodline flowing. And as the story goes, the doctor who
- 36:16Speaker 2: performed this test kept a little bit of charles sperm
- 36:20Speaker 2: slipped out in his pocket, kept some of Diana's eggs,
- 36:23Speaker 2: took them all to the lab, cooked him up, made
- 36:25Speaker 2: a baby egg, stuck it inside his wife, and she
- 36:29Speaker 2: carried that baby to full term. And now there is
- 36:32Speaker 2: a bastard royal child out there, which that is a
- 36:37Speaker 2: complex tale. And it's claimed that this girl's name is
- 36:42Speaker 2: Sarah Spencer, that she was born around nineteen eighty one,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and that she found a diary that spelled all this
- 36:49Speaker 2: out after her parents died.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Her name was Spencer.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I don't think this woman's even real. This was all
- 36:55Speaker 2: reported in some British tabloid that also said she confronted
- 36:59Speaker 2: Prince ARLs about the death of Princess Diana, Like how, yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 2: how why based on what evidence? Like, of all people
- 37:07Speaker 2: who would have information on that, Like, I'd believe David
- 37:10Speaker 2: Ickmore if he came out and was like, look, I
- 37:12Speaker 2: got some pretty good info Princess Diana was killed, I'd
- 37:15Speaker 2: be like, well, you do move in those circles. Sarah Spencer,
- 37:19Speaker 2: on the other hand, I'd be like, how the fuck
- 37:21Speaker 2: would you know what Prince Charles knows about the death
- 37:24Speaker 2: of Princess Diana.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know this. This is weird. I mean,
- 37:28Speaker 3: like I just don't understand if we want to talk
- 37:31Speaker 3: about like me motive means, and like what's the why
- 37:36Speaker 3: do this? Why would why would he do? I mean like, look,
- 37:39Speaker 3: I know there's been a rash of stories in the
- 37:42Speaker 3: last few years about fertility doctors doing some really fucked up,
- 37:47Speaker 3: unethical shit. Oh, but like I don't know, man, why
- 37:51Speaker 3: why do this?
- 37:53Speaker 2: Yeah? I mean it's a cool souvenir, that's for sure.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Sure.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Wheneveryone else showing you their VHS copies of the Royal
- 38:03Speaker 2: wedding television special in their T shirts saying they were there.
- 38:07Speaker 2: You're like, look at this souvenir. I made one. I
- 38:10Speaker 2: made a right fry Anna. That's Prince Charles and Diana
- 38:16Speaker 2: fucking mashed.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Diana of course, not Tryana. Yeah, look, I don't think
- 38:21Speaker 3: this is real. Uh, I know, but I don't know.
- 38:25Speaker 3: I just am like, if it did happen, there's no
- 38:27Speaker 3: way that they would, like, let this girl would not
- 38:31Speaker 3: be a royal. She was raised by this guy, yeah
- 38:35Speaker 3: and his wife, so they're not still she's still not theirs.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Even if they wouldn't even desert blood, there's no way
- 38:44Speaker 3: anybody who comes to them and is like, I'm secretly
- 38:47Speaker 3: a royal of royal blood, they're going to actually test, yeah,
- 38:51Speaker 3: their blood to make sure.
- 38:53Speaker 2: A trapdoor is going to open under that person and
- 38:57Speaker 2: they're just going to fall into a pit with all
- 38:59Speaker 2: the other illegiti meant royal kids buried under windsor palace
- 39:03Speaker 2: or whatever the fun.
- 39:04Speaker 3: Yeah, all the ones that came out with like fore legs.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, hybrids that didn't work. That one's a little
- 39:10Speaker 2: too alien. Yeah, that was just it.
- 39:13Speaker 3: They should no, no, no, no, humans don't have scales.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Sorry, what it's ezema? Like my British accent there?
- 39:21Speaker 3: That was great. Yeah, No, no, it's that it's a
- 39:25Speaker 3: harlequin baby. It's a Harlequwin baby.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Oh, put a little notion on it, governor.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Whatever you do. Don't google harlequinn baby.
- 39:34Speaker 2: By the way, don't. Yeah. One outlet claims that this
- 39:39Speaker 2: embryo story actually comes from a twenty eleven novel called
- 39:42Speaker 2: The Disappearance of Olivia. Uh oh, now, so now everyone
- 39:47Speaker 2: thinks we're in on it for one thing, so that sucks.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, yeah, no, totally. I'm a total boot
- 39:52Speaker 3: licker for the fucking royals.
- 39:54Speaker 2: But we also, like we all know, intelligence agencies write
- 39:57Speaker 2: books and scripts for this very purpose all the time.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Hashtag free Sarah Spencer.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Come on, sure, yeah, get her out of her twenty
- 40:07Speaker 3: seventh cousin has been poking her with its tentacle for
- 40:10Speaker 3: the last ten years.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Oh, I just want to see pictures of that pit.
- 40:17Speaker 2: All right. File this one under news that doesn't fucking
- 40:20Speaker 2: matter even if it's true. There are rumors that the
- 40:24Speaker 2: grandson of Queen Victoria was Jack the Ripper.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 40:30Speaker 2: This is a weird story, but mostly in what happens
- 40:34Speaker 2: to the guy who pushed this theory after he dies?
- 40:38Speaker 3: Right?
- 40:38Speaker 2: The New York Times reported on this back in nineteen seventy.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Well linked to the article. I did not realize they
- 40:45Speaker 2: had internet capabilities back then, but holy shit, yeah here
- 40:49Speaker 2: it is right before.
- 40:51Speaker 3: My eyes called it Dart Still.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was the government thing. They were testing
- 40:55Speaker 2: it out. They were in on the beta. New York Times.
- 40:58Speaker 2: They still have to pay, and they looked into this story.
- 41:03Speaker 2: And what's weird about it is there was this one guy,
- 41:07Speaker 2: this researcher, who was convinced that Jack the Ripper was
- 41:11Speaker 2: of royal bloodline. And somehow, I mean, this was you know,
- 41:18Speaker 2: the sixties seventies. There was no Internet. He couldn't like
- 41:22Speaker 2: post this on social media and hope it would go viral.
- 41:24Speaker 2: He's in England, so he's got to like convince the
- 41:27Speaker 2: British press to report on this, and they're like, we're
- 41:30Speaker 2: not trying to get killed pal. So for whatever reason,
- 41:34Speaker 2: this guy never really makes these findings public, but he
- 41:38Speaker 2: does have this folder of evidence that he says is
- 41:43Speaker 2: the proof that Jack the Ripper was from the royal bloodline.
- 41:47Speaker 2: After he died, his son goes in and burns those files.
- 41:54Speaker 2: And his reasoning was, well, we read them and they
- 41:57Speaker 2: didn't say anything. They certainly didn't imply that Jack the
- 42:00Speaker 2: Ripper was part of the royal family bloodline, So we
- 42:04Speaker 2: just set him on fire so no one could ever
- 42:07Speaker 2: look at him again. And it's like, what were you
- 42:09Speaker 2: worried the Nazis were gonna find it? Like that threat
- 42:14Speaker 2: has passed, man, that part, that part feels so weird
- 42:19Speaker 2: to me, Like this is the free wheeling sixties and seventies.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Like I can just see some fucking mi I six
- 42:26Speaker 2: bastard walking up to this guy and being like, I
- 42:29Speaker 2: will give you five million pounds if you set that
- 42:32Speaker 2: folder on fire and don't ever tell anyone about any
- 42:36Speaker 2: of this. That kid's gonna be like, got it. Don't
- 42:39Speaker 2: you worry anything to keep her majesty safe?
- 42:44Speaker 3: Yeah? I don't know. I mean, like, look, it makes
- 42:48Speaker 3: sense that Jack the Ripper was probably like some rich
- 42:53Speaker 3: guy who knew that he could get away with it.
- 42:55Speaker 3: Like that just makes sense because he wouldn't even be suspected.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It just wouldn't happen.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Yeah, not at that point in history. So yeah, it's
- 43:04Speaker 2: not a crazy theory at all. No, I just think
- 43:07Speaker 2: the stuff that happens after the guy dies is crazy.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Yeah, that's wild. But also, like you know, in the end,
- 43:13Speaker 3: in the long run, doesn't really matter. Jack the Ripper
- 43:16Speaker 3: still killed a bunch of people and it is still
- 43:17Speaker 3: very famous, and he's not famous. It doesn't matter who
- 43:21Speaker 3: he was. He's not famous as the guy that he
- 43:23Speaker 3: was when he wasn't Jack the Ripper. He's famous as
- 43:26Speaker 3: being Jack the Ripper.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Yeah, there's almost no name that could definitively come out
- 43:32Speaker 2: as Jack the Ripper where I'd be like, oh, holy shit.
- 43:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I've had a fun personal pet theory about Jack
- 43:39Speaker 3: the Ripper since I was like in high school that
- 43:42Speaker 3: he's actually the same person as H. H. Holmes, the
- 43:46Speaker 3: guy who was the serial killer in Chicago during the
- 43:49Speaker 3: World's Fair, because Jack the Rippers stopped being active around
- 43:52Speaker 3: the same time and then an American visiting Yeah.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Yeah, because he only killed like five women only. Yeah,
- 43:59Speaker 2: just get your numbers up, chump.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Right, and then came over and built like a crazy
- 44:05Speaker 3: murder hotel and you know, just to up his game.
- 44:09Speaker 3: And you know, I don't know, it's just it's just
- 44:11Speaker 3: again these kinds of things. This sounds like this guy
- 44:15Speaker 3: kind of had evidence, but like, it's basically just historical
- 44:17Speaker 3: fan fiction. Yeah at a certain point.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you'd have to tell me, like it was Morrissey
- 44:22Speaker 2: or something. And they're like, also, he really is a vampire,
- 44:25Speaker 2: that's why. Yeah, then i'd.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Be sure she invented time travel. He actually Primer is
- 44:30Speaker 3: about him.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Ah, Morrissey, he sucks now too, Yeah.
- 44:35Speaker 3: He does, and so does so does the guy who
- 44:37Speaker 3: made Primer.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Oh, I don't think I saw that, all right, This
- 44:40Speaker 2: last one, this is a this is a two headed
- 44:44Speaker 2: conspiracy theory. These both started as jokes, but they're also like,
- 44:49Speaker 2: I don't know, if I found out it was true,
- 44:51Speaker 2: I'd be like, yeah, that makes sense. One Megan Markele
- 44:55Speaker 2: is CIA or Megan Markel is part of a plot
- 44:59Speaker 2: to reclaim England or reclaim America for England.
- 45:03Speaker 3: And I just want to say in the notes, you
- 45:05Speaker 3: write this as and or, and I would like to
- 45:08Speaker 3: say the and version of that is an interesting story,
- 45:12Speaker 3: the version where she is both both CIA and part
- 45:16Speaker 3: of a plot to reclaim America for England.
- 45:18Speaker 2: She's a double agent. Yeah, but these.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Both started an okay, actress.
- 45:23Speaker 2: These both started as jokes. A guy tweeted a thing
- 45:27Speaker 2: about how well with Megan Markle marrying Prince Harry and
- 45:32Speaker 2: if they have kids in the United States, they're going
- 45:34Speaker 2: to be American citizens, which means if they ever, you know,
- 45:39Speaker 2: ran for president, there would kind of be like a
- 45:41Speaker 2: hybrid Royal family American president, which would kind of mean
- 45:47Speaker 2: England had taken America back. And here's the thing, No,
- 45:50Speaker 2: it wouldn't. Like that would just mean our president had
- 45:54Speaker 2: some relation to the royal family, but we're not fucking
- 45:56Speaker 2: giving you this country back because.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Of that pal right. Yeah, I mean that doesn't make
- 46:01Speaker 3: any sense at all, But it's also kind of weird.
- 46:05Speaker 3: I mean, like everybody's I don't know, related to somebody
- 46:08Speaker 3: from another country.
- 46:09Speaker 2: And it's one of those things where the guy who
- 46:11Speaker 2: tweeted it was clearly joking, like the tweet's still up
- 46:14Speaker 2: and if you go look in his replies, he's like, Man,
- 46:16Speaker 2: my fucking takes on Ohio State football are better than this.
- 46:20Speaker 2: What are you people doing? But people still cite that
- 46:22Speaker 2: tweet as like, oh, yeah, this this could be. And
- 46:26Speaker 2: then the CIA thing. Paul Bettany said that on a
- 46:30Speaker 2: late night talk show he jokingly said he thinks Megan
- 46:33Speaker 2: Markle might be CIA here's the thing. We know. The
- 46:37Speaker 2: CIA sends actors to late night talk shows to make
- 46:41Speaker 2: jokes like that, so when the truth comes out, they
- 46:44Speaker 2: can just go, nah, that's a joke Paul Bettany to
- 46:47Speaker 2: on late night TV. So yeah, I buy it, Megan Markle, Cia, Sure,
- 46:53Speaker 2: I wouldn't here like that would be, that would be
- 46:55Speaker 2: here's a thing. I'd be like, that's my fucking CIA.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Hell yeah, hell oh yeah. They married an agent into
- 47:02Speaker 2: the royal family. I'm like doing that, probably China, like
- 47:05Speaker 2: all kinds of places.
- 47:06Speaker 3: I think maybe people are just getting confused because she
- 47:09Speaker 3: played an FBI agent on Fringe, so that could be
- 47:14Speaker 3: it's that's all that people are thinking about, probably because
- 47:19Speaker 3: everybody knows that about Fringe.
- 47:21Speaker 2: I definitely, I definitely knew that about Fringe. Yeah. There's
- 47:26Speaker 2: also a theory that the movie Love actually predicted their romance,
- 47:31Speaker 2: but I care so little about that movie. I didn't
- 47:33Speaker 2: even read the explanation for the theory.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want Yeah, no, I'm okay not knowing
- 47:40Speaker 3: anything about that. I'm good.
- 47:42Speaker 2: So watch your back around, Megan Markle. I guess is
- 47:46Speaker 2: what I'm getting at here, England. I know you're in
- 47:48Speaker 2: a vulnerable spot right.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Now, right, yeah, no, she's gonna send to.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Power yeah again that power vacuum exists, and just keeping
- 47:57Speaker 2: eyes on Megan Markle.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Yeah they are. Don't worry. The Brits are very good
- 48:03Speaker 3: at keeping an eye on Megan Marble. I don't think
- 48:06Speaker 3: that's a problem.
- 48:07Speaker 2: And uh yeah, I think that's our episode. Next week
- 48:10Speaker 2: we'll be back to talking about American stuff. Probably, I
- 48:14Speaker 2: don't know. Sure, Maybe it's all England for the rest
- 48:17Speaker 2: of the year. Out of respect for the Queen. Of course,
- 48:20Speaker 2: we just go hard on royal family conspiracies, you know,
- 48:24Speaker 2: end of it. We both believe she's a cannibal, of course. Well,
- 48:27Speaker 2: I mean she probably was, as opposed to just Olivia
- 48:30Speaker 2: believing it right now, is right?
- 48:32Speaker 3: No, yeah, no, she yeah, that's the thing. She like
- 48:35Speaker 3: ran out of human parts to eat, and that's what happened.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Yeah no, I mean, look, I forgot what I was
- 48:43Speaker 3: gonna say. That's this is this is this is just
- 48:46Speaker 3: what happens. It's okay, that's grief.
- 48:48Speaker 2: That's how grief works.
- 48:49Speaker 3: We're working, that's it. That's exactly what it is. It's great.
- 48:52Speaker 2: So do we have anything to plug before we get
- 48:55Speaker 2: out of here.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, listen to our going back or podcast
- 49:01Speaker 3: about loss. It's called going Back. Really botch that plug. Uh,
- 49:07Speaker 3: It's on the conspiracy and unpopped Patreon and you should
- 49:11Speaker 3: check it out. It's awesome.
- 49:12Speaker 2: There will be a new episode up this week as
- 49:15Speaker 2: this goes out, so yeah, check that out. And uh,
- 49:19Speaker 2: I don't have anything else. I'm busy. I'm building a
- 49:22Speaker 2: new studio. It's taking all my time.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm in community college, so I don't have time
- 49:28Speaker 3: to do anything fun.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Yeah on this facts leave us alone, all right, Let's
- 49:36Speaker 2: get out of here. Olivia say goodbye, bye, goodbye everybody.
- 49:40Speaker 3: We love you.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Stop being strong
