Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, So a lot going on. You know, the crazy Democrats,
- 0:04Speaker 1: the protesters, the screaming Mom Donnie crowd, all the Democrats,
- 0:09Speaker 1: the MSNBC, CNN crowd yelling and screaming demanding a ceasefire
- 0:14Speaker 1: in Israel, Gaza demanding a ceasefire that's been going on
- 0:18Speaker 1: for a year and a half, demanding a ceasefire. Well
- 0:21Speaker 1: now they've got a ceasefire. They're totally silent. Know what
- 0:26Speaker 1: the hell to do this? The last thing they wanted
- 0:28Speaker 1: was a ceasefire. They were just pretending they wanted it.
- 0:31Speaker 1: They they're really upset about this ceasefire and this peace deal.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It hurts their campaign to go after Israel. Mom Donnie
- 0:40Speaker 1: uses an election issue a lot of these Democratic candidates.
- 0:43Speaker 1: It was a big election issue. It kind of lost it.
- 0:46Speaker 1: There was probably a lot of the debate prep for
- 0:48Speaker 1: Thursday night. Mom Donnie was going to go after Israel,
- 0:53Speaker 1: but harder to do it now with the ceasefire and
- 0:55Speaker 1: the peace plan in praise place. So it's going to
- 0:58Speaker 1: be a problem now. Speaking of protests, just beware this Saturday.
- 1:03Speaker 1: They call it the No Kings protest, silliest name No Kings,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and it's going to be massive. It's going to be
- 1:12Speaker 1: all over the country. It's not in any one place.
- 1:15Speaker 1: You know, when they have a big protest and it's
- 1:17Speaker 1: downtown around city, all who cares. But this is going
- 1:21Speaker 1: to be everywhere in the suburbs and wherever you live.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's going to be near you. If you're in Long Island,
- 1:26Speaker 1: if you're in Connecticut, if you're in New Jersey, wherever
- 1:29Speaker 1: you are in the country. These protests, there's estimated to
- 1:32Speaker 1: be twenty five hundred of them, are going to take place,
- 1:36Speaker 1: These no kings protests. Now what are they protesting exactly?
- 1:40Speaker 1: What are they calling a king? I guess I don't know.
- 1:43Speaker 1: A guy wants to close the border. What else is
- 1:48Speaker 1: the I don't know why they call him a king?
- 1:49Speaker 1: What is that all about? The crime? Wanting to send
- 1:52Speaker 1: troops in to go after it's been done all the time,
- 1:55Speaker 1: by the way, a president sending troops National Guard into
- 2:00Speaker 1: local areas to do something. The most famous was John F.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Kennedy when he had to integrate the South. He had
- 2:06Speaker 1: a terrible problem there. The Southern governors from George Wallace
- 2:10Speaker 1: to Lester Maddox to Mississippi, Georgia, these kind of places
- 2:16Speaker 1: would not allow black students to go to college, and
- 2:19Speaker 1: some of these there was the famous governor Lester Matti
- 2:22Speaker 1: stood in the doorway with an axe in his hand
- 2:25Speaker 1: to stop them. George Wallace, same kind of behavior. So
- 2:28Speaker 1: Kennedy sent troops something like seventeen thousand troops into the
- 2:32Speaker 1: South to help those kids get into school and to
- 2:36Speaker 1: stop those governors. Seventeen thousand military sent in by Kennedy.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Now what were the Democrats reaction? Well, he was a hero,
- 2:43Speaker 1: he was a Nobel prize, he was a genius for it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: He was the most wonderful thing anybody ever did. But
- 2:49Speaker 1: it's one of those deals where it's only bad if
- 2:52Speaker 1: Trump does it. If anybody else does it, it's great.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So now Trump wants to clean up the crime in Chicago,
- 3:00Speaker 1: in Portland. This prime has been going on for so
- 3:02Speaker 1: long in Chicago. How many years have we been talking
- 3:05Speaker 1: about this? It's a killing field. Every week every weekend,
- 3:09Speaker 1: forty five people are shot in Chicago. It's out of control.
- 3:13Speaker 1: If we have listeners in Chicago, they can tell us
- 3:16Speaker 1: you got a couple of nice areas with all sorts
- 3:19Speaker 1: of fancy stores and great restaurants and it's beautiful. Then
- 3:22Speaker 1: you go a few blocks the other way and you're
- 3:25Speaker 1: in a war zone. It's been like that in Washington,
- 3:27Speaker 1: d C, Chicago and many of our major cities. So
- 3:31Speaker 1: Trump wants to clean up Chicago, do something about the crime.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Democrats are furious, furious, and this is the no Kings,
- 3:41Speaker 1: no Kings. They're going to stand up to him. Pritzker
- 3:43Speaker 1: is going to court. He's going to assume him. Pritzker
- 3:46Speaker 1: is going to do it. That's that big fat slab.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Ralph Cramton looking governor, and Trump was asked about Pritzker.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I think he should beg for help because he's running
- 3:56Speaker 2: a bad operation. I mean he's letting people be killed
- 3:59Speaker 2: and his city because he doesn't want in Chicago.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he's letting people be killed every forty five people.
- 4:06Speaker 1: If you were running the place and forty five people
- 4:08Speaker 1: were shot last weekend, wouldn't you go crazy trying to
- 4:11Speaker 1: stop this from happening. Well it's happened every weekend for years,
- 4:15Speaker 1: for decades. They couldn't care less in Chicago. They let
- 4:18Speaker 1: it happen. But these Democrats are just going nuts. You know,
- 4:23Speaker 1: Bill Maher was a pretty left wing Democrat, but now
- 4:26Speaker 1: they're so nuts, they're way to the left of Bill Maher.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Bill Maher even defending Trump. You know, Trump has done
- 4:33Speaker 1: some great things as president, and just he's only been
- 4:36Speaker 1: president like twenty minutes. This is only like six months.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Look how much he's gotten done in six months.
- 4:41Speaker 3: You cannot ever deny success. You just have to give
- 4:45Speaker 3: your respect, even if it's not your thing, have the
- 4:49Speaker 3: humility to give it up for enormous success on any level.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Trump not my choice, didn't vote for him, but a
- 5:00Speaker 3: lot of people did.
- 5:01Speaker 4: And he's.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I can't deny the success.
- 5:06Speaker 5: I can't either.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's the president.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Now. It looks pretty amazing, this peace agreement in Israel,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and it may turn out to be the greatest piece
- 5:15Speaker 1: of deal ever and may transform the Middle East. I know,
- 5:18Speaker 1: if you're watching Morning Joe, they'll tell you everything that's
- 5:20Speaker 1: going to go wrong. If you're watching CNN Morning Joe,
- 5:24Speaker 1: New York to the rebuilding, rebuilding is very difficult, and
- 5:28Speaker 1: they show you the pictures of Gaza all burned out,
- 5:31Speaker 1: all the blown up, bombed out neighbors on the rebuilding
- 5:34Speaker 1: is very difficult. Yeah, not forgot like Donald Trump. He
- 5:36Speaker 1: does this in his sleep. The guy builds hundred story
- 5:39Speaker 1: skyscrapers all over the world. If you've seen these things,
- 5:43Speaker 1: he builds these hundred story skyscrapers, the magnificent, gleaming glass,
- 5:47Speaker 1: beautiful state of the Earth. Well, I think you can
- 5:50Speaker 1: rebuild Gaza. It's not that complicated. And when you got
- 5:54Speaker 1: zillions of dollars and you've got a number of nations
- 5:57Speaker 1: helping you, so this could be pretty amazing. But these
- 6:01Speaker 1: left wing cooks go nuts. Now look at this. Look
- 6:06Speaker 1: at this Neil Young. Anybody remember Neil Young? Remember Neil Young?
- 6:13Speaker 1: That was like nineteen seventy two Heart of Gold picture
- 6:17Speaker 1: Neil Young. He's like that. It looks like a scarecrow.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It looks like he did those clothes. It looks like
- 6:23Speaker 1: he robbed the scarecrow. He looks like a dusty, musty
- 6:25Speaker 1: old Neil Young. Well, he just pulled all of his
- 6:29Speaker 1: music off Amazon. He has pulled his music. He is
- 6:35Speaker 1: taking it off Amazon now to pull all his music.
- 6:39Speaker 1: What's that two songs? Heart of Gold? What else? Harvest Moon?
- 6:46Speaker 1: That was pretty good. That's a pretty good song, that
- 6:48Speaker 1: Harvest Moon. That's two Cinnamon Girl? What the hell are
- 6:54Speaker 1: you talking about? Cinnamon Girl? It was not a big hit.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It was a minor, minor miner. Okay, but there's nobody
- 7:05Speaker 1: on Amazon looking for Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young. I'd
- 7:08Speaker 1: like to get the actual Amazon data. How many people
- 7:11Speaker 1: searched for a Cinnamon Girl? Okay, let's say it's three.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Let's say it's three. And they're also they're all from
- 7:17Speaker 1: like nineteen seventy three. It's a million. When was harvest
- 7:20Speaker 1: Moon seventy four or something like that. So he's pulled
- 7:23Speaker 1: his music off Amazon. I guarantee you we do not
- 7:26Speaker 1: have a nation of twenty six year olds going.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Of course, what.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Happened to Neil Young. I can't find Neil Young. I
- 7:32Speaker 1: don't think they're that worried about it. But this guy
- 7:34Speaker 1: is on the warpath. He's seventy nine years old now,
- 7:37Speaker 1: and he goes on social media and announces that he's
- 7:40Speaker 1: pulled all his music from Amazon. He said because he
- 7:45Speaker 1: believes founder Jeff Bezos back's President Trump. You know these
- 7:51Speaker 1: guys like Jeff Bezos, he's a good guy, but they're
- 7:54Speaker 1: like James Bond Villain's. They don't back anybody. They're their
- 7:57Speaker 1: own country. They they they back everybody and anybody. It's
- 8:02Speaker 1: whatever's good for that moment. But Neil Young writes, forget Amazon,
- 8:06Speaker 1: forget Whole Foods, forget Facebook. He writes in this post.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Buy local, buy direct, Well, how are you going to
- 8:17Speaker 4: buy direct? Don't you have to go to Amazon to
- 8:20Speaker 4: do that? Wait a minute. When you buy on Amazon,
- 8:24Speaker 4: you know, most of the time, ninety eight percent of
- 8:26Speaker 4: the time, you're not buying anything from Amazon. You're buying
- 8:28Speaker 4: from local places. Amazon's just a delivery service. But he's
- 8:33Speaker 4: yelling and screaming on social media. Amazon needs you to
- 8:37Speaker 4: buy from them. Don't they shut down our government, your income,
- 8:42Speaker 4: your safety, your family's health security. Now you might be saying,
- 8:46Speaker 4: the hell is he talking about?
- 8:48Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It's Neil Young. I mean, who knows what the hell
- 8:50Speaker 1: this guy's smoking. Take America back together, stop buying from
- 8:54Speaker 1: the big corporations, support local business, do the right thing.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Show who you are now. Eight months ago, eleven months ago,
- 9:05Speaker 1: it was Joe Biden. Amazon was just fine with him.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Then Facebook was great. You know, whatever Bezos is doing
- 9:12Speaker 1: with Trump, he was doing it with Biden. They do
- 9:13Speaker 1: it with whatever president is in there. So what happened
- 9:16Speaker 1: on social media when he did this, Well, there was
- 9:18Speaker 1: huge backlash against Neil Young. All these younger generation people
- 9:24Speaker 1: right here's like, I'll look at all these comments. Dude
- 9:26Speaker 1: is a kook sad What happened to him? Who's buying
- 9:31Speaker 1: his music? Anyway? He's a has been who is doing
- 9:34Speaker 1: this just to get attention. Now, that could be some
- 9:36Speaker 1: truth to that, could be something like that. He might
- 9:39Speaker 1: be pulling his music. Oh he pulled it off Spotify
- 9:42Speaker 1: too and now from Amazon. Nobody cares if her mused
- 9:47Speaker 1: removes his music. So but anyway, you got to remember
- 9:50Speaker 1: Neil Young is like a They're like a burned out
- 9:53Speaker 1: old hippie from the late sixties. You know, they hated Nixon,
- 9:57Speaker 1: but Nixon was like a humble, quiet guy compared to Trump.
- 10:00Speaker 1: So Trump it really drives them crazy. So hey, did
- 10:04Speaker 1: you know there's still such a thing as it's called
- 10:06Speaker 1: Time Magazine? As anybody, if you're under forty, you don't
- 10:09Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about. Time magazine used to be
- 10:12Speaker 1: a big deal many many years ago. In fact, in
- 10:15Speaker 1: its day, it was probably the biggest magazine in the country.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That it's nothing more important than Time Magazine. To be
- 10:22Speaker 1: on the cover, that was a major, major thing. I
- 10:24Speaker 1: was on the cover of Time magazine. There was nothing
- 10:27Speaker 1: bigger in the media.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Now.
- 10:29Speaker 1: If you're under forty, you't know what the hell I'm
- 10:31Speaker 1: talking about. A magazine. It's like it's like printed, It's
- 10:34Speaker 1: like a thing you could hold in your hand. And
- 10:37Speaker 1: they had magazines. You'd buy People magazine, you'd buy Time magazine.
- 10:41Speaker 1: There was Newsweek magazine. Believe it or not, they still exist.
- 10:44Speaker 1: There is actually still something called Newsweek magazine. There's a
- 10:48Speaker 1: Time magazine. I don't know what where would you get
- 10:50Speaker 1: this Time magazine. I guess it's a website. I guess
- 10:53Speaker 1: you could go look at their website. But anyway, they
- 10:56Speaker 1: put Donald Trump on the cover because of the Israel
- 10:58Speaker 1: peace Agreement, the piece in the Middle East. It was
- 11:01Speaker 1: a major historic accomplishment, so he had to put him
- 11:03Speaker 1: on the cover. But they went and found the single
- 11:07Speaker 1: ugliest picture ever of Donald Trump. It was taken from below.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Somebody got the camera under him and shot up, so
- 11:15Speaker 1: you see his neck looks wrinkled, his face looks old,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and it looks so weird. When you first look at
- 11:22Speaker 1: the cover, I'm not just a joke. You'd think it's
- 11:24Speaker 1: Joe Biden. It's from an angle below where it looks
- 11:27Speaker 1: like he's Joe Biden for a second. I think that
- 11:29Speaker 1: was the thinking here. But Trump when after Time Magazine
- 11:35Speaker 1: saying that, I mean, and it's obvious they did it deliberately.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Obviously did it deliberately. You can see a million pictures
- 11:42Speaker 1: of what happened to Middle East. They all look fine.
- 11:45Speaker 1: This is the weirdest looking picture, Trump writes on truth
- 11:48Speaker 1: Social Time magazine wrote a relatively good story about me,
- 11:52Speaker 1: but the picture maybe the worst of all time. Really
- 11:55Speaker 1: weird taking pictures from underneath, But this is a super
- 11:58Speaker 1: bad picture. Deserves to be called out. Now, this could
- 12:02Speaker 1: be a Neil Young move. Maybe there's nobody on earth
- 12:05Speaker 1: that knows about this Time magazine anymore. Maybe they did
- 12:09Speaker 1: it just maybe just to get some attention, just to
- 12:12Speaker 1: get somebody to know that Time magazine actually still exists. Hey,
- 12:18Speaker 1: sixty minutes working overtime, trying to convince you that everything
- 12:22Speaker 1: with Trump is a disaster. So now sixty minutes trying
- 12:24Speaker 1: to convince you there's going to be a stock market crash.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Stock market doing great at all time highs. Right now,
- 12:31Speaker 1: it's up. Everything's up, the economy is doing great. But
- 12:35Speaker 1: they're always trying to convince you it's Trump. There's going
- 12:37Speaker 1: to be a crash or recession. So they go to
- 12:40Speaker 1: they do a piece on Andrew Ross Sorkin. He's on
- 12:43Speaker 1: sixty minutes. You know, he's on CNBC, so you know,
- 12:47Speaker 1: if he's on CNBC, this is a far left Trump
- 12:50Speaker 1: hating guy. He's written a new book, Reliving nineteen twenty nine.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's about a stock market crash. He's predicting a crash,
- 12:58Speaker 1: so naturally sixty minutes can't get him on the fast enough.
- 13:00Speaker 1: They do a whole ten to fifteen minute piece on them.
- 13:04Speaker 1: But he does make one point though, he said this
- 13:06Speaker 1: AI stuff AI is causing a some some think that's
- 13:12Speaker 1: the rise in a lot of the stocks. These companies
- 13:15Speaker 1: now can use AI and get things done cheaper. It
- 13:18Speaker 1: cuts down on how many employees. But he thinks there
- 13:21Speaker 1: could be an AI crash coming. But now he argues,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you know, they try to tell you the economy so
- 13:27Speaker 1: bad under Trump, but he's arguing, it's so great. We
- 13:29Speaker 1: could be facing a disaster here. So but the problem
- 13:34Speaker 1: with AI, the big problem. Experts are predicting it'll replace
- 13:38Speaker 1: a lot of jobs, not just accounting that sort of stuff,
- 13:42Speaker 1: but all sorts of jobs, even the lawyers, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 1: there's there's websites now where instead of hiring a lawyer,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you can just use AI. It'll figure out legally what
- 13:52Speaker 1: you should do. I mean, there's amazing uses of AI.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So some experts think, you know, whatever you have Industrial revolution,
- 14:01Speaker 1: machines come in at whatever things are invented. It puts
- 14:05Speaker 1: a lot of people out of work. But they think
- 14:06Speaker 1: with AI, this could be the biggest revolution of all
- 14:08Speaker 1: and it could I heat to say this. Some think
- 14:12Speaker 1: it could put almost one hundred million people out of work.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It could be devastating. Now, whenever you have one of
- 14:18Speaker 1: these situations like the Industrial Revolution, everybody eventually goes back
- 14:22Speaker 1: to work finding something else to do. But that transition
- 14:25Speaker 1: can take years, can take five years, ten years. But anyway,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 14:32Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 14:35Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight
- 14:39Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number
- 14:43Speaker 1: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go
- 14:47Speaker 1: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Doing, Good morning, Mark, Mark, I'm okay. Perhaps you'll remember
- 14:52Speaker 7: the first president in modern times, even before Kennedy to
- 14:57Speaker 7: use the National Guard with Dwight eyesa and how were
- 15:00Speaker 7: to integrate public schools in Little Rock, Kansas because the
- 15:06Speaker 7: black kids wanted to attend elementary school there. And Bill
- 15:10Speaker 7: Clinton's mentor was the governor of Arkansas at the time,
- 15:14Speaker 7: and he was dead set against it. And Eisenhower federalized
- 15:18Speaker 7: the state National Guard and said, I said the men,
- 15:21Speaker 7: I remember having vivid memories of the National God lining
- 15:26Speaker 7: the entrance of the school and God members escorting this
- 15:31Speaker 7: young black woman, young black kid into the school. Mark
- 15:35Speaker 7: You're so right on the money when you talk about
- 15:38Speaker 7: these people like Bondami and his ilk and the Israel
- 15:43Speaker 7: hate is. Yesterday in Italy in the City Hall of Milan,
- 15:50Speaker 7: outside all of the Palestinians were protesting against the Nan
- 15:57Speaker 7: Yahoo President Trump peace plan, And somehow in the gallery
- 16:02Speaker 7: inside the city Hall there was planted there a bunch
- 16:07Speaker 7: of Palestinian thugs and when the mayors started to address
- 16:13Speaker 7: the legislative session, they stood up, they raised Palestinian flags.
- 16:18Speaker 7: They ran down the hall from the gallery where the
- 16:24Speaker 7: diaces unfurled Palestinian flags, and outside the police had to
- 16:30Speaker 7: stop breaking heads and stuff. There there's people who like
- 16:33Speaker 7: Bondami you're taking away their game when you do that.
- 16:38Speaker 7: And last night I thought I was watching a political
- 16:42Speaker 7: comedic version of The Three Tenants with Luciano Pavarotti, Jose Carreras,
- 16:48Speaker 7: and Placido Domingo. Instead we had Bernie Sanders. We had
- 16:54Speaker 7: Bernie Sanders Mandami and Leticia James was playing the part
- 16:59Speaker 7: of Luca Pavaratti. Because she's as fat as who Charlo
- 17:03Speaker 7: Pavarotti was.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I think she's actually a little bigger Pavarotti was not quite.
- 17:09Speaker 7: Yeah, at least Pavaratti I talent. At least he was
- 17:13Speaker 7: a phenomenal singer. The only talent she has is she's
- 17:16Speaker 7: not even good at it is far for grifting the
- 17:19Speaker 7: mortgage companies and everything.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, great call, thanks for calling. Excellent. Yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 1: Letsia James screaming, I will not bend good. I don't
- 17:30Speaker 1: think anybody wants to see that. Let's go to uh,
- 17:32Speaker 1: Maureen Jackson Heights. Maureen, how you doing okay?
- 17:36Speaker 8: Mark?
- 17:37Speaker 1: What's the matter Maureene? You're so quiet, so gentle, so quiet.
- 17:42Speaker 8: Discupt it about it?
- 17:43Speaker 1: But you're so quiet. Do you work in the library.
- 17:46Speaker 8: You sound like no, I'm retired. Did I have a
- 17:49Speaker 8: sick husband that I'm taking. And yesterday when I was
- 17:55Speaker 8: watching the president over in Egypt, and and he had
- 17:59Speaker 8: some of those world lead is standing behind him, and
- 18:03Speaker 8: how proud I was, how very proud to see such
- 18:07Speaker 8: a strong, confident, caring president. And I just hope that
- 18:15Speaker 8: a lot of other people felt the same way. And
- 18:18Speaker 8: he made my day a little bit easier.
- 18:20Speaker 1: All right, Well, so you're not marching in the no
- 18:22Speaker 1: King's parade. Sorry, No, you sound like a very nice woman, Maureen.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. Take care. Let's go to Bruce and
- 18:30Speaker 1: Long Island. Bruce. How you doing?
- 18:32Speaker 7: Yes?
- 18:32Speaker 6: Hi?
- 18:33Speaker 9: Mark?
- 18:33Speaker 1: Hey, hey, hey, so people are sleeping here.
- 18:37Speaker 9: I'm an optimistic guy. So Mark, I have a question
- 18:40Speaker 9: for you.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yes, what's the question.
- 18:42Speaker 9: I read the book Confronting the Presidents, which I thought
- 18:44Speaker 9: was a very good absolutely, But at the very end
- 18:49Speaker 9: of the book, the gentleman that he co wrote the
- 18:51Speaker 9: book with wrote he's praying for Biden's election. Obviously he
- 18:56Speaker 9: wrote that before Biden bowed out. So I was just wondering, Mark,
- 18:59Speaker 9: this guy's in a telligent guy, explain to me how
- 19:02Speaker 9: intelligent people could actually think that? Right?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Well, I would if I knew what you're talking. What
- 19:06Speaker 1: are you talking about? Why people would vote for Biden?
- 19:09Speaker 9: They're confronting the presidents. The gentleman that co wrote the
- 19:12Speaker 9: book with.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Martin de Gard.
- 19:15Speaker 9: At the very end, he wrote he was writing about
- 19:18Speaker 9: his thoughts about the presidency, and he wrote, I pray
- 19:23Speaker 9: that Biden is reelected.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Well, I can't. I can't really say the guy. I
- 19:26Speaker 1: haven't seen it. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I never got to that part of the book. I
- 19:29Speaker 1: read the book, but not that.
- 19:30Speaker 9: Oh okay, you read the list, and I always wonder
- 19:33Speaker 9: how intelligent people could actually be thinking that they would
- 19:36Speaker 9: want Biden in the White House.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Well, it goes on all the time. It's Trump derangement syndrome.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You know, you watch these guys on TV. They're not stupid.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I mean, some of these guys are. Jake Tapper is
- 19:45Speaker 1: a bright guy. He's just insane. They're just nuts. Laurence o'donald,
- 19:51Speaker 1: it's a bright guy, he's just insane when it comes
- 19:53Speaker 1: to Trump. They're just when it comes to politics. They
- 19:56Speaker 1: fabricated these whole fake narratives and they start to believe them.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And you know who we'll ask, We'll ask John Fund.
- 20:03Speaker 1: They'll be with us next the great political analyst, commentator, columnist. Hey,
- 20:07Speaker 1: I'm the expert on elections. Now, what's going to happen
- 20:11Speaker 1: in our New York election?
- 20:12Speaker 6: Now?
- 20:13Speaker 1: As far as security making sure the ballots are all
- 20:17Speaker 1: legitimate and legal, we'll get to that in a moment.
- 20:20Speaker 1: On seven to ten WR.
- 20:22Speaker 10: I think six to today m Tomorrow morning. I'm jacquelincarl
- 20:25Speaker 10: on sevent ten wor.

- 20:33Speaker 2: fifty five. Cold front brings clear skies tomorrow ou Tomorrow's
- 20:37Speaker 2: sixty six and building sunshine for Thursday and Friday. Thursday's
- 20:41Speaker 2: high sixty, Friday's high sixty one. Clouds this hour fifty seven.

- 21:10Speaker 6: Jesse Kelly.
- 21:11Speaker 11: The more you let the animals do animal things, it
- 21:15Speaker 11: will attract more animals.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It'll make the current a brilliant column this National Review.
- 21:20Speaker 1: And uh, he's also the author of a great book.
- 21:23Speaker 1: You should get this book are broken Elections? John Fund
- 21:26Speaker 1: follow him on Twitter as well, and he's with us now,
- 21:29Speaker 1: John Fund, how you doing.
- 21:33Speaker 9: Well?
- 21:34Speaker 6: Survived the storm, didn't we?
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's much better today. So hey, let me just
- 21:39Speaker 1: get to elections. We got a mayoral election that's crucial
- 21:42Speaker 1: coming up. How secure are these elections you think in
- 21:45Speaker 1: New York? The machines, the ballots, how much funny business
- 21:48Speaker 1: is still going on?
- 21:50Speaker 6: Well? New York, as you know, is a blue city
- 21:54Speaker 6: and the rules are blue. And that's why the voters
- 21:56Speaker 6: should be blue. About ballid integrity. You know, it was
- 21:59Speaker 6: just a few years ago that the Democrat who ran
- 22:02Speaker 6: the Board of Elections for Manhattan admitted that there were
- 22:06Speaker 6: lots of people who were voting in New York who
- 22:09Speaker 6: shouldn't have. There were buses in Chinatown that would come
- 22:12Speaker 6: and bring lots of people, and they would vote in
- 22:15Speaker 6: one place and then they would go on to the
- 22:17Speaker 6: next place. He was fired by Bill de Blasio, who
- 22:19Speaker 6: was the mayor at the time. So I don't think
- 22:22Speaker 6: the election is secure. However, as it stands right now,
- 22:27Speaker 6: doesn't look like it's going to be super close. I
- 22:31Speaker 6: think that the real question will be what's the voter
- 22:34Speaker 6: integrity situation in New Jersey where I think the election
- 22:37Speaker 6: for governor, which is very important, is going to be
- 22:39Speaker 6: super tight.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and who would trust anything in New Jersey if
- 22:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Well, you're right because New Jersey, during the pandemic for COVID,
- 22:50Speaker 6: completely loosened its laws. Everybody in the state now gets
- 22:54Speaker 6: an absentee ballot in the mail, the voter registration roles
- 22:58Speaker 6: having been cleaned in decades. Patterson has a consistent pattern
- 23:03Speaker 6: of having, you know, people going to jail for voter fraud.
- 23:06Speaker 6: It's not theoretical, it's real. And I worry a lot
- 23:10Speaker 6: about New Jersey because I think the Republican candidate is
- 23:13Speaker 6: surging and the Democratic candidate is wrapped up in the
- 23:16Speaker 6: scandal from her days at the Naval Academy where her
- 23:19Speaker 6: espilation you know, she's changing it every day because she
- 23:22Speaker 6: originally said I wasn't allowed to graduate with my class
- 23:27Speaker 6: because I refuse to rap on fellow cadets, except the
- 23:30Speaker 6: Naval Academy's policy is it never punished people who who
- 23:34Speaker 6: wouldn't grat So none of it holds up. New Jersey
- 23:38Speaker 6: is an economic basket case. Unemployment is high, taxes are
- 23:43Speaker 6: through the roof, people are leaving the state. I think
- 23:47Speaker 6: if the future of New Jersey is going to be
- 23:48Speaker 6: on the line in November.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Yeah, So why is it close? Citarelli is a pretty
- 23:52Speaker 1: good candidate, She's horrible. Why is it close?
- 23:56Speaker 6: Because New Jersey has seen a whole bunch of people
- 23:58Speaker 6: moved to Florida and North Carolina and other states. You know,
- 24:03Speaker 6: it's the same thing. And why it's is it's so
- 24:05Speaker 6: hard to elect a guy like Rudy Giuliani or Michael
- 24:08Speaker 6: Bloomberg in New York because the population is not the same.
- 24:12Speaker 6: Lots of people have died off or moved and the
- 24:15Speaker 6: people coming in are different voters. So I think that's
- 24:19Speaker 6: the major reason. And secondly, you know, let's face it,
- 24:24Speaker 6: Trump's you know, in the low forties in New Jersey
- 24:26Speaker 6: in terms of approval, and the whole political structure, in
- 24:30Speaker 6: the media structure in New Jersey. You know how hard
- 24:32Speaker 6: it is to break through New Jersey people listen to
- 24:36Speaker 6: New York radio. They only have one radio station that
- 24:39Speaker 6: you know, broadcasts to the state, so it's hard to
- 24:41Speaker 6: get a message out.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, John Fund. Even with New York these like
- 24:47Speaker 1: Mom Donnie will talk about the crisis. It's an affordability crisis.
- 24:50Speaker 1: We've got this crisis that Chris Well Democrats have run
- 24:53Speaker 1: every inch of New York government, city and state for
- 24:56Speaker 1: the last fifteen years. So why wouldn't a voter say, well,
- 24:59Speaker 1: maybe I should change parties, maybe we should vote for
- 25:01Speaker 1: the other side.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Well, look, the Republican Party is a horrible brand name.
- 25:07Speaker 6: It just does in New York City. And let's face it,
- 25:10Speaker 6: Andrew Cuomo is not exactly the apostle of change and reform.
- 25:15Speaker 6: We remember, we remember his time as governor of New York.
- 25:20Speaker 6: I mean, you know, the joke, the joke is that
- 25:22Speaker 6: he killed more people of the nursing homes than he
- 25:25Speaker 6: ever than anyone and the other governor in New York.
- 25:30Speaker 6: So I have to tell you, I think that the
- 25:32Speaker 6: election in New York City is going to be close
- 25:34Speaker 6: than people think. But remember, you know, there's no runoff, Mandamie.
- 25:39Speaker 6: If he gets you know, one more vote, than Cuomo
- 25:42Speaker 6: or Sliwa. He wins.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So the debate is Thursday night. Clomo's a pretty weak debater,
- 25:49Speaker 1: Mam Donnie's a good debater. Curtis is a great debater. Uh,
- 25:52Speaker 1: Cuomo will look weak probably compared to them. And if
- 25:55Speaker 1: Curtis lands some real knockout punches, could that turn things around?
- 26:00Speaker 6: You know? The question always is who watches debates from
- 26:04Speaker 6: start to finish? Very few people. The question is what
- 26:06Speaker 6: are going to be the clips from the debate that
- 26:08Speaker 6: get played on TV and radio? And unless there is
- 26:13Speaker 6: a seminal moment where, you know, Mondami looks like a
- 26:16Speaker 6: deer in the headlights of a car, I just don't
- 26:19Speaker 6: think that's good. I just don't think the debate is
- 26:21Speaker 6: going to be the deciding factor. Yeah, you know, but
- 26:24Speaker 6: that doesn't mean people shouldn't vote because there have been upsets.
- 26:28Speaker 6: There have been upsets in many races in New York City,
- 26:31Speaker 6: and there's always the case where people go into the
- 26:34Speaker 6: voting booth and say, do I really want to take
- 26:36Speaker 6: a chance on a socialist?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Now? The way to defeat mom Donnie is normally you
- 26:43Speaker 1: drive his unfavorables way up into the near fifty five
- 26:46Speaker 1: sixty and you need the super packs running tons of
- 26:50Speaker 1: ads against him. Where were they that we saw none
- 26:53Speaker 1: of that in this election.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Well, the business community basically decided that they had a
- 26:58Speaker 6: choice to make. It could either go all out to
- 27:00Speaker 6: defeat him and be on his blacklist should he win,
- 27:05Speaker 6: or they could sit down privately behind the scenes, as
- 27:07Speaker 6: they've been doing with him the last few weeks, you know,
- 27:10Speaker 6: trying to get table crumbs from him and see if
- 27:14Speaker 6: they can survive him if he gets elected. The business
- 27:18Speaker 6: community in New York City has never been accused of
- 27:21Speaker 6: political courage.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Well, hey, if he is elected, we did survive eight
- 27:26Speaker 1: years of the Blasio, so we'd be pretty pretty good
- 27:30Speaker 1: chance of getting through this, right.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Well, yes, and no. Look, the good news about Mondammie
- 27:36Speaker 6: if he wins, is his powers. They're not nearly here.
- 27:40Speaker 6: The state legislature controls the income tax, the MTA is
- 27:44Speaker 6: not in his hands. He does have the police department.
- 27:46Speaker 6: That's going to be a problem. Crime will go up.
- 27:48Speaker 6: He's not going to keep Tish as the commissioner, so
- 27:51Speaker 6: they're going to be real problems. But his powers are circumscribed.
- 27:54Speaker 6: The real danger mark is this the perception that the
- 27:58Speaker 6: city will go downhill, be there, and perceptions can become reality.
- 28:03Speaker 6: I think people will start thinking about leaving New York
- 28:06Speaker 6: City simply I've been worried about time. Time to think
- 28:12Speaker 6: leaving time not to invest a lot of money in
- 28:15Speaker 6: a new building project or a new factory, or remember
- 28:20Speaker 6: the Amazon thing. That was the real break point. Amazon
- 28:23Speaker 6: was basically forced out of Queens by AOC and her allies,
- 28:27Speaker 6: including Zoran. He was part of all that and nine
- 28:31Speaker 6: thousand jobs. The question is will the perception of New
- 28:34Speaker 6: York is an anti business city be heightened? And it will,
- 28:39Speaker 6: even though Mondamie can't really do as much as we fear.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Hey, John Fund talk about John Fetterman for a moment.
- 28:45Speaker 1: The guy looked crazy at first, but he's been the
- 28:48Speaker 1: most common since Democrat trying to talk sense in these
- 28:52Speaker 1: other Democrats. Will there ever come a point where the
- 28:54Speaker 1: Democrat party listens to him, maybe tries to get back
- 28:57Speaker 1: towards the center.
- 29:00Speaker 6: You've just explained how we can convince Democrats to have
- 29:04Speaker 6: common sense. All they have to have is a stroke
- 29:07Speaker 6: and some brain you know, problems, and when they wake up,
- 29:11Speaker 6: you know, suddenly it all becomes clear to them. The
- 29:14Speaker 6: problem is you can't replicate that so easily in other Democrats.
- 29:18Speaker 6: I believe Bestman is a one off. He is just
- 29:22Speaker 6: a complete individualist. He doesn't follow the party line. He
- 29:25Speaker 6: doesn't like people telling him what to do. He's not
- 29:28Speaker 6: a Republican. He's not going to switch parties. But he
- 29:31Speaker 6: is a reminder to Democrats that they pay a price
- 29:35Speaker 6: for marching and lockstep behind the Looke community. And look,
- 29:40Speaker 6: Fetterman is popular in Pennsylvania. He just has He just
- 29:44Speaker 6: has the ability. Whether you call it courage or stubbornness,
- 29:47Speaker 6: he just will not follow the Wow ideology. And I
- 29:51Speaker 6: think that's a political winner. It's just that other Democrats
- 29:54Speaker 6: are too scared to try that same path.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Well, John fun brilliant is always great talking. You make
- 29:59Speaker 1: sure you're read his columns. Go to National Review you
- 30:02Speaker 1: can read them there. Make sure you followhim on Twitter.
- 30:04Speaker 1: John Fund at Twitter, and get his book Are Broken Elections.
- 30:09Speaker 1: It's still the best book on the subject, John Fund,
- 30:12Speaker 1: great stuff, Thanks for being with us.
- 30:15Speaker 6: Thank you, Mark.
- 30:15Speaker 5: I'm Larry MENTI could Republicans really vote for Cuomo and

- 30:34Speaker 11: of the aching, heaviness, swelling or burning that makes it
- 30:37Speaker 11: hard to stand or walk? USA Vain Clinics has the solution.
- 30:41Speaker 11: Diale powder.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Well.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Hey, this just in Alec Baldwin. You know this accident.
- 30:47Speaker 1: It's Alec Baldwin and step Baldwin. These two geniuses are
- 30:51Speaker 1: driving a white Range Rover belongs to Alex's wife and
- 30:56Speaker 1: they get in an accident. They smash into a tree,
- 30:59Speaker 1: smash up the front of the car. First thing, everything's
- 31:01Speaker 1: you know, drunk right, Well, he says he's been sober
- 31:03Speaker 1: for forty years now, and he said it was a
- 31:07Speaker 1: big garbage truck coming at him and that's why he
- 31:10Speaker 1: had a quickly turn and he ended up hitting the tree.
- 31:13Speaker 1: He puent on line yesterday and explained himself it must have.
- 31:17Speaker 12: Been something commercial for like taking away material from construction
- 31:23Speaker 12: or something. It was the biggest garbage truck I've ever
- 31:25Speaker 12: seen any Anyway, I won't come into the details now I'm.
- 31:28Speaker 6: For you, but I had to avoid hitting him.
- 31:30Speaker 12: I hit a tree. I had a big fat tree
- 31:34Speaker 12: and crushed my car, my wife's car.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Now he's over acting with that voice. It was a
- 31:41Speaker 1: commercial garbage truck. It was some sort of the biggest
- 31:44Speaker 1: height ever since. It's a little too melodramatic there, but
- 31:48Speaker 1: here's the latest. Now East Hampton Police are backing up
- 31:53Speaker 1: his story. His sob story has been backed up by
- 31:58Speaker 1: cops in the Hampton. According to a new report. They
- 32:02Speaker 1: say it was a National Waste Services truck that was
- 32:06Speaker 1: turning right in front of him. East Hampton Police Department
- 32:10Speaker 1: Chief Michael Sarlow said in a statement reported by TMZ
- 32:16Speaker 1: that he had to turn suddenly and the road conditions
- 32:20Speaker 1: were very slippery and wet. As you know obviously yesterday
- 32:24Speaker 1: we were in the middle that nor Easter, the storm,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and these were the contributing factors to the accident. The
- 32:31Speaker 1: police chief says there was no injuries, no summons issued.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Contributing factors to the accident were found to be a
- 32:38Speaker 1: reaction to an uninvolved vehicle and the slippery roadway conditions,
- 32:43Speaker 1: which means they say no drinking, no anything else. The
- 32:47Speaker 1: East Hampton Police. Who knows, maybe Alec Baldwin's are very
- 32:52Speaker 1: close to the East Hampton Police he's a resident. But
- 32:55Speaker 1: we believe the East Hampton Police. If they say that's
- 32:57Speaker 1: what it was, we'll take their word for it. So anyway,
- 33:02Speaker 1: we're out of time, don't go away. Buck and Clay
- 33:05Speaker 1: are coming up next right after the news. Then at
- 33:07Speaker 1: three o'clock it's the Sean Hannity Show. I'll be filling
- 33:10Speaker 1: in for Sean Today from three to six if you
