Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood.
- 0:01Speaker 2: See you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Air on.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: All right, So Sophia, now let's get into this because
- 0:12Speaker 2: I think we all have been guilty of making soft plans.
- 0:16Speaker 2: So do you every friend of yours seems to be
- 0:18Speaker 2: mad at you, including your boyfriend. This is not a boyfriend.
- 0:20Speaker 2: What's this friend mad at you for?
- 0:22Speaker 4: Now?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Like, what's going on with your life? In terms?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Sofia, yeah, do we need to go down there and
- 0:26Speaker 1: throw down? Okay, I don't think this one's my fault.
- 0:30Speaker 5: But earlier in the week she told me she was like, hey,
- 0:33Speaker 5: like it's gonna be sunny, let's go to Laguna. And
- 0:35Speaker 5: I was like, oh my gosh, let's do it, Like yeah,
- 0:37Speaker 5: for sure. That was the only conversation that we had
- 0:40Speaker 5: about Laguna.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:42Speaker 5: And so the weekend goes on and I get no text,
- 0:46Speaker 5: no follow up, nothing about Laguna. So I'm like, okay,
- 0:49Speaker 5: so I just go about my day, just see if
- 0:52Speaker 5: she's gonna text me, because those were soft plans, like
- 0:55Speaker 5: nothing was decided, no time, no nothing. And I've been
- 1:00Speaker 5: idding the cold shoulder from her, and I know that
- 1:02Speaker 5: she's upset because I didn't text her.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Okay, so you didn't firm up the soft plans.
- 1:08Speaker 5: No, because she was the one who came to me
- 1:10Speaker 5: and was like, let's go to Laguna and I was like, okay,
- 1:12Speaker 5: like sure, but then nothing nothing, all right?
- 1:17Speaker 2: This is very clear to me, Like any time you've
- 1:19Speaker 2: made and Sisney does this a lot, Like you say
- 1:21Speaker 2: you're gonna do something, Sisney don't and you're like, yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 2: let's get together. You are never really going to follow
- 1:26Speaker 2: through on it. All soft plans must be confirmed, matter
- 1:29Speaker 2: of fact, All plans must be confirmed. People are flaky.
- 1:31Speaker 2: People are generally just a lot of people are flaky,
- 1:35Speaker 2: and so I am the kind of person that needs
- 1:39Speaker 2: to know about the plan very specifically and deliberately and
- 1:43Speaker 2: to know that it's confirmed. So I'm always I'm always like,
- 1:46Speaker 2: are we still on for tomorrow? Are we still on
- 1:50Speaker 2: for the next week? Are we still on? You kind
- 1:53Speaker 2: of got to do that or you can't blame anybody.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, like did you guys pick a date or anything?
- 1:58Speaker 2: No?
- 1:59Speaker 1: No day. See if it's not on the calendar, it's
- 2:00Speaker 1: not happening.
- 2:01Speaker 2: See.
- 2:02Speaker 1: If I'm being completely honest, I hope she's not listening.
- 2:04Speaker 5: But I didn't really care if we went to Laguna
- 2:07Speaker 5: or not, because I didn't really want to go, but
- 2:09Speaker 5: I would have gone if she like actually followed through
- 2:12Speaker 5: and was like, let's plan it, I would have gone.
- 2:14Speaker 5: So I think maybe that's why I didn't text.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Her ad news for you, because you're like an intern
- 2:19Speaker 2: here and you go to college. I think your friends
- 2:21Speaker 2: all listen right now, I'm sorry, Yeah, you got it
- 2:27Speaker 2: for U soft plans. And then I also think, don't
- 2:29Speaker 2: you think that people just are generally uh, they're flaky.
- 2:33Speaker 2: People are flaky. They've gotten flake here, don't you think, Tanya.
- 2:36Speaker 6: One hundred percent?
- 2:37Speaker 7: I've had like standing plans with a friend to go
- 2:39Speaker 7: on a walk for like three weeks.
- 2:40Speaker 6: We just like can't get it together.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But have you picked a date? And is it in
- 2:43Speaker 1: the calendar?
- 2:44Speaker 7: We'll pick a date and then something will come up,
- 2:46Speaker 7: so then we'll move it to the next week and
- 2:47Speaker 7: it just kind of keeps happening.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. Well, if you want to plan anything with me,
- 2:53Speaker 2: you just let me know because we will hard confirm. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 2: me too, it's case FM. So, Tanya, you're anniversaries coming up?
- 3:01Speaker 2: How many years?
- 3:02Speaker 6: One? Just one? It'll be our first year.
- 3:05Speaker 2: One year since we did all that.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I know, it's wild.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It was like a long time ago, feels like.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It was yesterday.
- 3:11Speaker 6: I feel the same.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I don't. So you're going to renew your vows? Is
- 3:18Speaker 2: that common to do already?
- 3:21Speaker 6: Renewing our vows?
- 3:22Speaker 2: That's what she said.
- 3:23Speaker 1: No, we are.
- 3:24Speaker 7: We wanted to do something every year on our wedding anniversary.
- 3:26Speaker 7: That's simple that we could do every single year, you
- 3:29Speaker 7: know what I mean, like no matter what state our
- 3:32Speaker 7: lives are in. And we decided that we wanted to
- 3:34Speaker 7: read our vowels to each other every year.
- 3:39Speaker 1: A whole I need to be there.
- 3:40Speaker 7: No, no, no, but what I but what I realized.
- 3:44Speaker 7: So we're going to plan like a nice dinner and
- 3:46Speaker 7: we're going to do our vowels and so.
- 3:48Speaker 1: In front of the restaurant, just to each other.
- 3:51Speaker 7: And we were talking about it and Robbie was like,
- 3:55Speaker 7: I I think Ryan has my vows like I don't
- 3:59Speaker 7: have them. And I'm like you, I didn't type them
- 4:00Speaker 7: on a computer first and then handwrite them out like
- 4:02Speaker 7: I did, like I have mine saved on my computer.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:06Speaker 7: No, he just wrote them out on a piece of paper.
- 4:08Speaker 7: Such a dude and just handed those those are what Ryan.
- 4:11Speaker 1: The hotel stationary.
- 4:12Speaker 6: I did them on but they're in your pocket or
- 4:17Speaker 6: you have that?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because like you guys were getting married and
- 4:21Speaker 2: you don't want anything in your hands after I guess
- 4:23Speaker 2: because the ring thing right right the other. So I
- 4:26Speaker 2: offered to grab his notes and or his vows and
- 4:28Speaker 2: I put him in my pocket, which ended up in
- 4:30Speaker 2: my briefcase, which I think carried around for like months.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And inside my briefcase like notes for things and my
- 4:36Speaker 2: calendars in there, and all of a sudden, I kept
- 4:37Speaker 2: pulling out two pages is loose leaf pages of Robbie's vowels.
- 4:42Speaker 2: I thought, I told you about that, And I thought, well,
- 4:45Speaker 2: that's odd. You didn't like ask for them back. He
- 4:47Speaker 2: didn't ask for them back. Yeah, so I tossed them.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, you threw the Had I known that.
- 4:52Speaker 7: He didn't save them, I would have absolutely gotten them.
- 4:55Speaker 2: That's what I thought. I mean, dude, it's your wedding.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Save your vowels book, hey, thinking he's gonna call back
- 5:02Speaker 2: and say, hey, I need to borrow my vows. It's
- 5:05Speaker 2: it's your wedding.
- 5:06Speaker 8: I know.
- 5:07Speaker 7: I'm like, I have he goes, I don't know where
- 5:10Speaker 7: that paper is. I think they're still in Ryan's pocket.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I was like, here's what's easy. I got a solution.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It's all on tape.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Did you guys video transcribe the video?
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you want me to send me the video, I'll
- 5:20Speaker 2: transcribe this and I'll split it up here.
- 5:22Speaker 6: Yeah. I was like, he can. He can do that task.
- 5:25Speaker 2: But I'm not supposed to carry around his vows for
- 5:27Speaker 2: a year.
- 5:28Speaker 7: That's what I should have got them back from you.
- 5:30Speaker 7: I had no idea. I have like several copies of
- 5:32Speaker 7: our vowels.
- 5:34Speaker 8: Well, your vows, my vows, yes, getting married?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Back those up, type.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Them up, save him on word.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Hey, happy anniversary.
- 5:44Speaker 6: It's so exciting.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Seacrest here, Sistiney, Tanya the intern, Sofia is here, and
- 5:50Speaker 2: Jessica on the line in van eyes. Jessica, how are you? Hey?
- 5:56Speaker 2: I you're on the air with us right now, and
- 5:59Speaker 2: you're calling about your roommate. So you don't get along
- 6:02Speaker 2: with your roommate and you want to kick her out?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah? Why so, like we get along fine, we've
- 6:12Speaker 3: been roommates for years. But my boyfriend and I have
- 6:18Speaker 3: been together for a year and a half and we're serious,
- 6:22Speaker 3: like he basically lives here already, and I just I
- 6:27Speaker 3: want him to move in, like officially, And I mean
- 6:30Speaker 3: technically I can ask her to leave. It's my lease,
- 6:35Speaker 3: but I don't know. I just I feel kind of
- 6:39Speaker 3: guilty about it, Like she has a job.
- 6:43Speaker 2: How much longer is the commitment to the lease?
- 6:48Speaker 3: I've want a year lease, but like I have no
- 6:53Speaker 3: Like I don't think the landlord's going to kick us
- 6:55Speaker 3: out anytime soon, Like I've been renewing it every year.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Just fine, So I mean, you tell me sisiny, But
- 7:03Speaker 2: I think because you made the commitment to the roommate
- 7:05Speaker 2: and the lease, you've got to fulfill that. And the
- 7:08Speaker 2: fact that you have a boyfriend. That's great, but you
- 7:12Speaker 2: can't ruin sort of like her vibe. Because you met someone,
- 7:16Speaker 2: you can move out and you can get your own
- 7:19Speaker 2: place if you've framed someone to fill your spot, to
- 7:23Speaker 2: pay the rent.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Okay, but like we've already lived together for three years.
- 7:30Speaker 3: It's not like she just moved in and I'm kicking
- 7:33Speaker 3: her out.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Is she like a friend?
- 7:35Speaker 3: Like?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Is she fun? Do you like her?
- 7:38Speaker 3: I mean I would say we're friends, Like we're not
- 7:40Speaker 3: best friends, but we're solid. I do like her, but
- 7:44Speaker 3: like I don't want to move. I mean I found it,
- 7:47Speaker 3: like I invested in the apartment, but they do. I
- 7:51Speaker 3: do feel bad.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Okay, Well, get over the bad and figure out a
- 7:57Speaker 2: fair practical solution and you know, have your guy. Can't
- 8:02Speaker 2: your guy give you some guidance on this or help
- 8:04Speaker 2: out or pitch in or do something to put a
- 8:06Speaker 2: band aid on it for now?
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I think she would be fine pitching
- 8:10Speaker 3: in or whatever. But it's more so that, like we
- 8:14Speaker 3: don't want a third wheel.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Three's a crowd.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta get through the lease and then you
- 8:21Speaker 2: can figure it out. You made a commitment. I mean
- 8:24Speaker 2: that's where I am on this. Jessica, good luck. I
- 8:27Speaker 2: think you don't like any of our guidance, but we
- 8:30Speaker 2: really appreciate you.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Call back any time.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And take care. Okay, all right, we tried.
- 8:43Speaker 1: She's stressing.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Now, if you're going out on a date this weekend,
- 8:47Speaker 2: there are three things I was just thinking about, and
- 8:49Speaker 2: I read this too to back it up. Three behaviors
- 8:52Speaker 2: that turn people off on dates. Either don't do it,
- 8:55Speaker 2: or look for these things things that dudes do men
- 8:58Speaker 2: guys inappropriate comments. Don't do it. Don't don't stare at
- 9:01Speaker 2: somebody else, don't watch another person walk by, like, focus
- 9:05Speaker 2: on who you're with.
- 9:06Speaker 4: One.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Two brag, don't talk about yourself so much. Stop talking
- 9:10Speaker 2: about you. Ask questions. Three actually only two. Those are
- 9:17Speaker 2: the two. I kind of had lived at the third,
- 9:20Speaker 2: so that that's it now. Things that they say women do.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I don't know about this, but this is what I read,
- 9:25Speaker 2: and I went into Gronk. It's Grok. Gronk is a
- 9:29Speaker 2: football player. Grok that Gronkowski. No, it's Grock. He's right.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Gronkowski's the top of mind the all the time.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Rob, are you talking about Gronkowski?
- 9:40Speaker 2: I'm talking about Grock. What's Grock? It's Ai.
- 9:42Speaker 1: It's like, oh my god, discovered that one. I've only
- 9:47Speaker 1: done Gemini.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Oh okay, Well, anyway, Grok said that this is what
- 9:52Speaker 2: women do that turn guys off. One drink too much
- 9:56Speaker 2: negative self talk, like when you talk a bad about yourself.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Don't know.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And they say that guys don't like it when you
- 10:01Speaker 2: don't laugh at their jokes. Well, if you're not funny,
- 10:04Speaker 2: they're not.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Gonna get then that's true.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I don't know. Crockett cronkitt Today's quote your work you
- 10:12Speaker 2: avoid is usually the work the changes. So if you're
- 10:15Speaker 2: in the gym, don't do ten to twelve, so do
- 10:18Speaker 2: two more, two more reps, right, not ten twelve, not
- 10:22Speaker 2: twelve fourteen kiss f M. Good morning. Now, as you're
- 10:25Speaker 2: getting into work every day and you're commuting, do you
- 10:28Speaker 2: have to go through some of LA's worst intersections? So
- 10:32Speaker 2: before you started here Sisney n Tania on the morning show,
- 10:36Speaker 2: Ellen and I would do the show at the worst
- 10:39Speaker 2: intersection in LA. Based on this new list we'll get
- 10:41Speaker 2: into in a second. So here are the worst ones.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Will sure ends the Pulvita in Westwood. Yeah, I can intersections.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Great for meeting people though, Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 2: But I don't know what's going on the construction the
- 10:56Speaker 2: lanes is a is really different. And just getting on
- 11:00Speaker 2: the bridge, like if you guys go under and overpass
- 11:03Speaker 2: to get back over forget about it's like a mile.
- 11:05Speaker 2: But you can't get under and back under a freeway.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You're all over. There is right by UCLA. You got
- 11:09Speaker 1: the four or five traffic.
- 11:11Speaker 2: It's too much. Another of the worst intersections in la
- 11:14Speaker 2: Vermont and twenty eight. This is in West Adams, right
- 11:17Speaker 2: by usc SO on what once UCLA one's usc. Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 2: it's that ten to one ten interchange. It is just
- 11:25Speaker 2: when you think your cruising along, it stops and you
- 11:28Speaker 2: are stuck. Another one of the worst intersections here and
- 11:33Speaker 2: Sunset in the Palisades. Another one MLK and Crenshaw in
- 11:38Speaker 2: Baldwin Hills. It's by the Baldwin Hills Crenshew Shopping Center.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Three hundred and forty eight collisions have been there, wow,
- 11:45Speaker 2: and the last like sixteen fifteen years. But the worst
- 11:49Speaker 2: one of all time is Sunset and Highland is the
- 11:53Speaker 2: worst intersection in the city. Sunset Boulevard and Highland in Hollywood,
- 11:57Speaker 2: highest volume of any intersection in La Or for three
- 12:00Speaker 2: hundred collisions since twenty ten, so a lot. But that's
- 12:04Speaker 2: where this dude. We used to do the Kiss Morning
- 12:06Speaker 2: Show from that very place because I was doing a
- 12:09Speaker 2: talk show that lasted one day on TV very fast.
- 12:14Speaker 2: No it's like two years, but it got canceled pretty fast,
- 12:17Speaker 2: and Ellen and I would have to go to that intersecting.
- 12:19Speaker 2: But it was a rough intersection Sunset and Highland. And
- 12:23Speaker 2: I think that the great thing about our traffic is
- 12:26Speaker 2: that we really always have a twenty two minute grace
- 12:28Speaker 2: period of an excuse when we're runninglate.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You have to double the time everywhere.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But now you also can say, hey, I just hit
- 12:36Speaker 2: a you know, traffic twenty two minutes right Mark? How
- 12:41Speaker 2: long did that talk shop running? You're trying to point
- 12:43Speaker 2: that out. I went from January of two thousand and
- 12:45Speaker 2: four until September of two thousand and four. Oh so
- 12:48Speaker 2: not even a year.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Kept two years?
- 12:52Speaker 2: Well, it was two years in my head. Hey, look,
- 12:54Speaker 2: can't win them all, isn't he?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I love it?
- 12:56Speaker 2: You know if you get up early and you have
- 12:57Speaker 2: us on at the house or in the car, and
- 13:00Speaker 2: you gotta go take us with you on the iHeartRadio app.
- 13:03Speaker 2: We are streaming everything there and extra stuff to win
- 13:06Speaker 2: too on the free iHeart Radio app inside a kiss page.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So shall we do a second date update? Rodney says
- 13:13Speaker 2: he met her on Hinge. Okay, Hinge has a success rate.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Here Rodney and palms, good morning. You met on Hinge
- 13:23Speaker 2: and your first date went great? Okay? What was the
- 13:25Speaker 2: first date that went great?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Oh?
- 13:28Speaker 4: Well, I took her to Laurel Grill in Culver City
- 13:31Speaker 4: and everything was just phenomenal. Talking to her. She's stunning,
- 13:36Speaker 4: she's funny, she has this amazing energy just jumps out
- 13:39Speaker 4: of her photos. So everything just worked really well, you
- 13:44Speaker 4: know at first, and then what happened, Well, it's really simple. Actually,
- 13:55Speaker 4: I felt my phone ringing and I checked it. It
- 13:57Speaker 4: was my mom, it says mom on the screen. Even
- 14:00Speaker 4: so I sent it to voicemail. I put my phone
- 14:03Speaker 4: down and that was it. That That is all I did.
- 14:06Speaker 4: But everything after that got real weird. The conversation just
- 14:11Speaker 4: kind of stopped. I couldn't make her laugh anymore. It's
- 14:15Speaker 4: like that everything just went dead, and you know, she says, thanks,
- 14:21Speaker 4: that was nice and leaves.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Rodney. I mean, to me, this is like a red
- 14:28Speaker 2: flag on her part. But let's call her and see
- 14:30Speaker 2: what we can find out. I don't you should have
- 14:34Speaker 2: been clear. Oh my gosh, that's my mom. Like if
- 14:36Speaker 2: I if I ever put my mom sent into voicemail,
- 14:39Speaker 2: I guarantee you if I was at lunch with Tany
- 14:41Speaker 2: and siss Andy, they'd say, oh no, no take it.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Yeah, you got to take it to anybody for that matter.
- 14:46Speaker 8: Well no, not any no anybody. Okay, So Rodney, hang
- 14:52Speaker 8: on one second. This seems like it's bad on her.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Right, yes, absolutely, Why should it be so dramatic.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I am looking for no drama, no confrontation, no arguments.
- 15:06Speaker 1: That is unrealistic.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Well Tom, that's fine, I'll wait it out, all right.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Coming up next KISSFM, we will try and get Marlene.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Is her name on the line. Every week we do
- 15:16Speaker 2: a second date update, and this one is pretty clear
- 15:20Speaker 2: to me. Anyway, Rodney reached out to us and he said, hey,
- 15:23Speaker 2: I met this girl on Hinge. Our first date was great.
- 15:27Speaker 2: A call comes in from his mom and he sent
- 15:29Speaker 2: it to voicemail and then she, Marlene in this case,
- 15:34Speaker 2: started acting differently. Rodney, are you ready? It's a second
- 15:38Speaker 2: date update. We're making the call. We got Marlene. We're
- 15:41Speaker 2: going to find out why she changed her mood and
- 15:43Speaker 2: blew you off after you sent your mother's call on
- 15:47Speaker 2: the date into voicemail. Okay, you ready, Let's go for it. Okay,
- 15:52Speaker 2: please don't say anything running. Let us get through this. Marlene.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Thank you so much for coming on. You're on Kiss FM.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I secrets telling you. Everybody is are you I'm good?
- 16:04Speaker 9: Thank you good.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So we're calling about Hinge. Wow, what a great place
- 16:09Speaker 2: to meet people. And I think you met a guy.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Right, Yes? I did?
- 16:17Speaker 8: Did he did?
- 16:19Speaker 9: He ask you to find out why I shut him down?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, basically, So why did you go out with Rodney? First?
- 16:26Speaker 2: How is the date?
- 16:29Speaker 9: I mean, Rodney is nice. Uh, he's very handsome and
- 16:34Speaker 9: we actually had a good back and forth. I'm hinge
- 16:37Speaker 9: uh and the date was nice until I just, I
- 16:41Speaker 9: just you know, I had to leave.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Why what happened? Why did you leave in the middle
- 16:46Speaker 2: of the date.
- 16:49Speaker 3: It was it was his lock scream?
- 16:53Speaker 4: What my lock screen?
- 16:57Speaker 9: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, your lock screen?
- 17:04Speaker 2: What was his?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 17:05Speaker 2: What it was?
- 17:11Speaker 9: The photo on your lock screen?
- 17:12Speaker 5: What is it?
- 17:15Speaker 4: All right? But like, I know it's got my son
- 17:17Speaker 4: on it.
- 17:18Speaker 2: But I told you I have a son.
- 17:19Speaker 3: I said it very clearly, Yeah you did. But the
- 17:22Speaker 3: photo is of your son and.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Your ex, right, come on, your son's mom.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's me and my ex, my son's mom and me.
- 17:33Speaker 4: So what?
- 17:35Speaker 9: But I honestly I felt like it was like I
- 17:39Speaker 9: wish we were still together kind of photo, you know,
- 17:42Speaker 9: like I would have expected a picture of your son,
- 17:44Speaker 9: but never like you and your ex.
- 17:47Speaker 3: And I just don't think like you're ready for something new.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Oh yeah I haven't. I haven't gotten around it changing
- 17:55Speaker 4: it yet.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Maybe it's.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Okay, I have some thoughts here. First off, Marlene, one
- 18:06Speaker 2: thing I've learned in life, you cannot jump to conclusions.
- 18:09Speaker 2: You really don't know the context of why that is
- 18:12Speaker 2: still on his phone. It is the mother of his son.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I don't know when they broke up, but it is
- 18:18Speaker 2: almost respectful that he appreciates this woman that he had
- 18:23Speaker 2: a relationship with that brought this beautiful boy into the world.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So maybe that's how he looks at it.
- 18:31Speaker 9: I don't know. I had to sell my amount this one.
- 18:35Speaker 9: It just felt like it was like it's too fresh, Like.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You're so ready to be out there.
- 18:43Speaker 6: I don't know, You're so wrong.
- 18:47Speaker 7: He can have respect and all of those things, but
- 18:50Speaker 7: he doesn't need to have it on his cell phone
- 18:52Speaker 7: when he's dating other people.
- 18:54Speaker 6: It's so weird.
- 18:55Speaker 2: And they just met on hands at first date.
- 18:58Speaker 1: The first date, but he's looking at multiple times.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Hundreds of times throughout the day.
- 19:04Speaker 2: But Marlene getting up and just like leaving it probably
- 19:07Speaker 2: wasn't the best way to handle it.
- 19:11Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean, I totally understand. I just have to
- 19:13Speaker 9: follow my instinct. And I felt like it was just
- 19:15Speaker 9: he was just he's just not ready to date, and
- 19:18Speaker 9: I shouldn't have been there, it's a waste of my time.
- 19:20Speaker 2: And I disagree. Well, I mean, look, if okay, Marlene
- 19:32Speaker 2: is out, Rodney, I don't think that this is Look
- 19:36Speaker 2: take this experience. Yeah all right, no thanks, this is
- 19:41Speaker 2: not going to work out. But I don't think Rodney,
- 19:43Speaker 2: you're in the wrong. Marlene. I wish he was like
- 19:46Speaker 2: asked him about it. Anyway, You're on air with Ryan Seacrest,
- 19:54Speaker 2: So this is only in LA that this can happen.
- 19:57Speaker 2: All the two points me kiss FM, right. You know,
- 19:59Speaker 2: in the back room, we're always trying to help out
- 20:01Speaker 2: Mikayla because she is just a catch. She's a catch, right, Well,
- 20:05Speaker 2: so she's and she's picky, which is good. So she's
- 20:08Speaker 2: on all the dating apps and you went on the
- 20:11Speaker 2: Rayah raya Rayah. I think it's right, okay, fine, and
- 20:15Speaker 2: this one has you know, decent quality people, good looking people.
- 20:19Speaker 2: And from what I understand, you swiped. Are you connected
- 20:23Speaker 2: with the guy right?
- 20:25Speaker 6: Yep? I connected with the guy we met?
- 20:27Speaker 2: And did you correspond? Did you talk? Did you communicate?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:30Speaker 10: And then I was ghosted and then I ran into
- 20:34Speaker 10: him at a bar. I didn't say anything. I think
- 20:37Speaker 10: we might have incredible but this is incredible. And then
- 20:40Speaker 10: I'm watching Love Story and who pops up on my
- 20:44Speaker 10: screen but him?
- 20:46Speaker 2: So Love Story is the JFK Carolyn Bissett story fictionalized.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Ryan Murphy produced it. And there's only two guys that
- 20:55Speaker 2: I actually have to turn away from the screen when
- 20:57Speaker 2: they're on because they're so gorgeous, And that's JFK. And
- 21:02Speaker 2: then the underwear model. Did you match with the Calvin
- 21:06Speaker 2: Klein underwear model?
- 21:08Speaker 10: Yes?
- 21:08Speaker 1: That was him.
- 21:10Speaker 2: He is so hot.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, he so ripped, I mean and just naked.
- 21:17Speaker 2: So you were talking to him and then all of
- 21:19Speaker 2: a sudden, you you've never met him, but then you
- 21:20Speaker 2: see him on this show naked. Basically, what was your
- 21:25Speaker 2: only an Ella reaction?
- 21:26Speaker 10: I mean, it was bitter that he ghosted me, but
- 21:28Speaker 10: I was like, yeah, I mean he's good looking.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Who knows what would have happened, but we'll never know.
- 21:33Speaker 2: We see, I wouldn't even care if he ghosted. The
- 21:35Speaker 2: fact that he was just into it for a minute, Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 2: Rais is like the whole thing for you. Yeah right,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I mean, wouldn't you be excited if somebody he basically
- 21:46Speaker 2: is like the dark haired Markie Mark in Calvin Kline
- 21:50Speaker 2: underwear right, really exactly? So can you follow up? Can
- 21:55Speaker 2: you push harder? Now that he's on that show they
- 21:57Speaker 2: reach back out?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Okay, that's try.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you have to for us. He's I mean, he
- 22:03Speaker 2: really is. He's ripped right, and he he looks like
- 22:07Speaker 2: a young JFK. He does. But you all seem so excited.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I was really excited when Mark told me this happened.
- 22:15Speaker 10: I mean I am, but like he ghosted me, Like
- 22:18Speaker 10: maybe he met somebody else.
- 22:19Speaker 6: I'm like, who knows, of.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Course he met somebody else. He's the hottest guy ever.
- 22:23Speaker 2: He's meeting all kinds of people. You got to go
- 22:25Speaker 2: in on that, Like, Tanya, if you met this guy
- 22:27Speaker 2: when you were doing on hinge stuff, would you pursue
- 22:31Speaker 2: if he goes by that?
- 22:32Speaker 7: Yes, a thousand percent. I got ghosted by Josh Grobin
- 22:35Speaker 7: and I doubled triple quadruple message.
- 22:38Speaker 6: To try to get back in and it did not happen.
- 22:41Speaker 2: This is how if you have not seen this, it's
- 22:42Speaker 2: called love story. Yeah, and it's about you know, that
- 22:46Speaker 2: relationship between a very interesting JFK Junior and Carolyn is
- 22:50Speaker 2: sad and then there's in she Carolyn works for Calvin
- 22:54Speaker 2: Klein at the time, and they are doing their under
- 22:57Speaker 2: Marquee Mark underwear campaign and this guy comes on the
- 23:01Speaker 2: screen and I might have been watching with someone that
- 23:04Speaker 2: was female, and every time he came on, I would
- 23:06Speaker 2: distract the conversation, like should we eat pretzels in the
- 23:09Speaker 2: kitchen ut snack? I didn't want her to see him.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Pin in that?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:14Speaker 6: What spoiler alert?
- 23:17Speaker 2: Okay, so can we just move on? What can be
- 23:22Speaker 2: your next move for you to at least get him
- 23:26Speaker 2: to respond and get him on our show? Do it
- 23:30Speaker 2: for the show?
- 23:31Speaker 1: Oh that's a good angle, that is what I say.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Hey, Ryan Seacres thought you were so sexy and he
- 23:39Speaker 2: wants to talk to you about all of them. Yes, yes, yes,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and you must come in okay, yeah, in your Calvin claw.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, come on, guys. And he's so fear you
- 23:50Speaker 2: would love it.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Right, he would right in that chair.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, this michaela for the show. Please something
- 23:58Speaker 2: about this. Don't let this just like pass by, like
- 24:00Speaker 2: oh he goes to me, that's it. No, this guy
- 24:03Speaker 2: is a twelve.
- 24:04Speaker 6: I cannot believe we're talking about this. I'm embarrassed.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Only in her Thanks for riding with us every morning.
- 24:14Speaker 2: We're off early six o'clock. Okay, so Meghan's on the phone,
- 24:19Speaker 2: lean into this one. She says, Oh, I love it,
- 24:22Speaker 2: I love it. She wants to shoot her shot with
- 24:26Speaker 2: her dentist. Megan, what makes you want to do it
- 24:29Speaker 2: with your dentist?
- 24:30Speaker 3: He's like, knew it.
- 24:31Speaker 9: I went to a new place and he's like around
- 24:33Speaker 9: my age, and he's so cute.
- 24:35Speaker 1: So I was like, is it inappropriate if I try
- 24:38Speaker 1: to shoot my shot?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Well?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Is he single?
- 24:42Speaker 1: I mean I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 9: I mean he does have a ring on, so I feel.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Like that, but like, where's the ring? Is it one
- 24:48Speaker 2: of those hip or fitness rings?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Oh no, he doesn't have a ring.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Oh that's why I might.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's like around my age, so I'm like,
- 24:56Speaker 3: maybe he's single. I don't really know.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Does he like give you signs of anything in there?
- 25:05Speaker 3: Well I've only been twice, so like it's still like
- 25:08Speaker 3: I don't really know him that well, So yeah, I
- 25:11Speaker 3: don't know. I just think he's so cute.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So I don't know what to do. How would you
- 25:14Speaker 1: do it?
- 25:15Speaker 2: So if you wanted to, well, I don't know.
- 25:18Speaker 3: I was like, I could it be bold and do
- 25:20Speaker 3: it in person?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Or like try to find a social media and gem him.
- 25:24Speaker 9: I don't really know, what do you guys think.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I think you need to talk to some of the
- 25:29Speaker 2: dental genis to make sure he's not married, because he
- 25:32Speaker 2: could take his ring off for a Yeah, Like.
- 25:33Speaker 7: His hands are like always in mouths. He's probably not
- 25:36Speaker 7: wearing a ring.
- 25:38Speaker 3: That's true.
- 25:39Speaker 1: That's true.
- 25:40Speaker 2: So start there and then it's going to be a
- 25:44Speaker 2: bit uncomfortable because you got to lay there with your
- 25:46Speaker 2: mouth open all the time. And then you know, it's
- 25:48Speaker 2: like an intimate thing already. But you know, in these times,
- 25:54Speaker 2: if you feel something, what's the downside in shooting your shot?
- 26:00Speaker 2: It'll be awkward to clean your teeth. But there are
- 26:02Speaker 2: other dentists in the city.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 26:08Speaker 9: I can a different one, right.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Would you just do it and then like call us
- 26:15Speaker 2: back and tell us how you did it? Because I
- 26:17Speaker 2: think this is interesting. A lot of us have met
- 26:21Speaker 2: people in situations like that. Maybe they give care to you,
- 26:25Speaker 2: maybe they are on an airplane a flight attendant, but
- 26:28Speaker 2: you kind of get nervous to shoot your shot because
- 26:30Speaker 2: of the dynamic. Why not, like this might work out?
- 26:33Speaker 2: We need to hear.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Okay, perfect?
- 26:37Speaker 9: Yeah, if I do it.
- 26:38Speaker 5: I will call back.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Okay, thank you so much, and good luck. Is he
- 26:44Speaker 2: dds just dentist?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Oh god, I don't even know. Yeah, I don't even
- 26:51Speaker 1: know either.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Same, go for it.
- 26:55Speaker 2: And if that doesn't work, do only have other like
- 26:57Speaker 2: you know, your primary care guy or girl.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And but they're not dentists, home different field.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Doctors, doctors. All right, good luck, Megan, thank you. I
- 27:11Speaker 2: would do it, but I'm not into him. His name's
- 27:14Speaker 2: John Marashi, so it's not my guy. I want to
- 27:17Speaker 2: get into a little bit of Somebody comes up here
- 27:20Speaker 2: often on the show, and that is grocery store etiquette.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I like going to the store unless I'm in a
- 27:27Speaker 2: crunch for time where I'm really hungry. Right, So I
- 27:33Speaker 2: have been guilty of this, and I think somebody else
- 27:36Speaker 2: here or knows somebody that's done the same. You know,
- 27:39Speaker 2: when you go at the end of the day and
- 27:40Speaker 2: you're you just need to get in, get something. I
- 27:42Speaker 2: get the rotisserie chicken. It's fast, I get out. I
- 27:44Speaker 2: eat that right at home, no preparation. But when I'm
- 27:47Speaker 2: there sometimes I'm so hungry I will open something to snack.
- 27:50Speaker 2: I will open some nuts. I have been known to
- 27:53Speaker 2: eat a rap you know, along the way because the
- 27:57Speaker 2: rap has that little sticker on the plastic thing, and
- 27:59Speaker 2: I could just show them that and say, yeah I
- 28:01Speaker 2: had this and ring it up. But can you is
- 28:04Speaker 2: that I.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Am not one of those people.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Oh I do know you open up the.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Boxes and rats.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's me. I'm taking her home right paying
- 28:12Speaker 2: for it. And that's weird.
- 28:14Speaker 1: It feels like you're stealing.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I'm not stealing. Put it right here in my stomach.
- 28:18Speaker 2: It's right here.
- 28:20Speaker 6: He's paying, ringing it up.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Here's the thing that I did some research. I actually
- 28:26Speaker 2: checked all the stores for the actual rules. But there
- 28:29Speaker 2: are things that you should never eat at a grocery
- 28:32Speaker 2: store while you're shopping. You should never open up what
- 28:36Speaker 2: Sophia's mother and we are really calling around. Your mother
- 28:41Speaker 2: was at the store and opened up buffalo wings to
- 28:44Speaker 2: eat along the way of her shopping. Is that true?
- 28:46Speaker 5: It is true, Like she got them from the hot bar,
- 28:49Speaker 5: and I think she got like a pound of them
- 28:50Speaker 5: or something, and she's just going around with her car,
- 28:53Speaker 5: and I'm with her. She's going around the aisles with
- 28:54Speaker 5: her car just like snacking on these wings, you know,
- 28:56Speaker 5: and then putting the bones back in the bag, and I'm.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Just but you don't like messy wings are? And then
- 29:05Speaker 2: what he touches the canned mushrooms and puts him in
- 29:08Speaker 2: and licks her fingers.
- 29:09Speaker 5: She strictly had a hand in the bag and a
- 29:13Speaker 5: hand to shop.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'm all foursome snacking, but buffalo wings no.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Way too much.
- 29:22Speaker 5: Like I've definitely eaten a grape out of the bag
- 29:24Speaker 5: at the grocery store, but I've.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Gotta wash that. That's not good chance.
- 29:31Speaker 4: All right?
- 29:32Speaker 2: So I was so inspired last night while watching some
- 29:35Speaker 2: of Love Story, and in the boring scenes, I looked
- 29:37Speaker 2: this up. We checked Ralphs. When I say we, Tom,
- 29:43Speaker 2: you didn't pick up on that. We checked Ralph's.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I assume Mark did it.
- 29:48Speaker 2: No, no, no, this is my assignment. We checked Ralphs, Vaughn's, Albertson's,
- 29:53Speaker 2: and State of Brothers, and none of them have an
- 29:55Speaker 2: official rule on this, none of them. You can't open
- 30:00Speaker 2: up and snack while you shop, as long as you
- 30:03Speaker 2: pay for it at the endow The only stealing is
- 30:08Speaker 2: if like produce or meat, because if you eat all
- 30:12Speaker 2: the slices before you get to the front, and then
- 30:15Speaker 2: it weighs less.
- 30:16Speaker 4: Than that stealing.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that is stealing.
- 30:19Speaker 2: So go shopping today and enjoy it. Snack along the way.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I thought there would be policy against this. Most cashiers
- 30:28Speaker 2: and managers ignore the minor snacking. Seeing every fine with
- 30:31Speaker 2: the buffalos is a little bit of a risk. But
- 30:33Speaker 2: go away, go to town. Well, friends, that is going
- 30:38Speaker 2: to do it. For the Friday broadcast for US, Monday morning,
- 30:42Speaker 2: we're back with a Ryan's Roses. Make sure you check
- 30:45Speaker 2: that out seven forty standard standard operating procedure with the
- 30:49Speaker 2: Ryan's Roses. Have a fantastic weekend, keep it on CASS
- 30:52Speaker 2: all weekend long. Thanks for listening so on air with
- 30:55Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe and we'll talk to
- 30:58Speaker 2: you again Monday,
