- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is jazz nur.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Nine and welcome to another episode of Scottie and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 3: First off, thank you.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I'm seeing new reviews come in, more five star ratings,
- 0:12Speaker 2: so thank you for that, as well as I have
- 0:14Speaker 2: an update for everyone because I'm starting to get a
- 0:16Speaker 2: lot of messages about the hair situation.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Yeah, are people giving you hairstylist recommendations.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I have to say thank you to a lot of
- 0:23Speaker 2: you that are in the hair industry because you've given
- 0:25Speaker 2: me a lot of good tips.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:26Speaker 2: So there's a lot of folks that work as barbers
- 0:29Speaker 2: or insalons. A lot of them don't work locally, and
- 0:32Speaker 2: so what you've been doing has been super helpful, just
- 0:35Speaker 2: giving me guidance on how to talk to somebody about
- 0:37Speaker 2: this whole mop that I have going on my head.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So what I've noticed is a lot of people are like,
- 0:41Speaker 2: trust your barber. Give them more credit than you're giving
- 0:44Speaker 2: them on the podcast, And I'm like, really, I get that,
- 0:48Speaker 2: but yeah, I did have a couple of messages that
- 0:49Speaker 2: were like, look, barbers, just because you're used to having
- 0:52Speaker 2: the fade, they know how to use shears, they know
- 0:54Speaker 2: how to use the scissors to make you look like.
- 0:56Speaker 3: You got the layers.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Okay, So are you gonna give your barberage, Barbara Chance.
- 1:00Speaker 2: So what I am going to do is I actually
- 1:03Speaker 2: am going in today barber to the person that was
- 1:08Speaker 2: doing my hair this part of the year. So I
- 1:11Speaker 2: had an original barber like last year. That's where I
- 1:13Speaker 2: was getting my fade done. I was getting close to
- 1:16Speaker 2: the skin. I was looking like a military haircut. When
- 1:18Speaker 2: I started growing it out front, I was ready. But
- 1:21Speaker 2: then I switched hair people and I went to more
- 1:23Speaker 2: like a salon style because I wanted it to be longer,
- 1:26Speaker 2: more full.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And in this whole process, she got used.
- 1:30Speaker 2: To using, like you know, the clippers, giving me kind
- 1:33Speaker 2: of a not a fade, but shorter hair on the sides.
- 1:36Speaker 2: But I was looking for something different, so I wanted
- 1:39Speaker 2: to find something different. I wanted to find somebody that
- 1:41Speaker 2: could literally do I don't know the hockey hair thing
- 1:43Speaker 2: that we're talking about, the give me layers, whatever the
- 1:46Speaker 2: hell that means.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:48Speaker 2: But I have a wedding this weekend, and as I've
- 1:52Speaker 2: reached out to your hair person, Abbey, and then we
- 1:55Speaker 2: reached out on the podcast to the other hair salon here.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I can't believe the other salon didn't say anything to you.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Absolutely, that is wild.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I wonder if they just don't do men's cuts so
- 2:03Speaker 1: they're like, oh, we're fine.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I wonder if they just missed it.
- 2:06Speaker 1: No, they didn't miss it.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Yeah, what kind of business is missing that?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Do you think I should text them and see how
- 2:10Speaker 1: long it takes for them to text me back, Hey,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I need an appointment?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Yes, you should. Honestly, that would be hilarious. Yeah, because
- 2:15Speaker 2: now I'm curious because like, is it me? Because I
- 2:17Speaker 2: am I the problem. But that's why I was like,
- 2:19Speaker 2: you know what, I look a mess and I got
- 2:21Speaker 2: a wedding this weekend.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I gotta get it cleaned up.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Your hair doesn't look bad. You just need to know
- 2:25Speaker 1: how to style it now that it's longer. Correct, It's
- 2:27Speaker 1: like getting for girls. It's like when you get bangs
- 2:29Speaker 1: or if you get layers and you're not sure what
- 2:31Speaker 1: styles now fit with your hair. You just need to
- 2:34Speaker 1: know how to like push it to a certain side
- 2:36Speaker 1: or use gel or whatever, because it will probably take
- 2:39Speaker 1: a little bit more effort now that it's longer.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And I'm down to do the effort. But I do
- 2:42Speaker 2: need someone that's going to be able to talk me
- 2:44Speaker 2: through it. And my hair person who I actually am
- 2:46Speaker 2: going to the same person today, It's just going to
- 2:49Speaker 2: be a different style.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna need her to talk me through because we
- 2:51Speaker 3: were doing it short.
- 2:52Speaker 2: She did teach me how to like I was using
- 2:54Speaker 2: a hair a blow dryer this year. I've never done
- 2:57Speaker 2: that in my life, to get it all scaled up
- 3:00Speaker 2: and floppy. But I'm hoping that we're able to sit
- 3:04Speaker 2: down today, get the layers, get an understanding of what
- 3:07Speaker 2: we're going for. Because I did get on the phone
- 3:09Speaker 2: yesterday and this is what kind of worries me, because
- 3:12Speaker 2: I just called up the same place I've been going.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I was like, I just need to get in, like, hey,
- 3:15Speaker 3: is so and so available.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Here's the deal. I've gone to her before. She does
- 3:18Speaker 2: a great job, but I'm looking for something different. I'm
- 3:21Speaker 2: growing my hair out.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Could you give me the hockey hair?
- 3:25Speaker 2: And wait, you said that I did, And the person
- 3:30Speaker 2: on the phone is like, I don't know what you're
- 3:32Speaker 2: talking about, but they are phenomenal at cutting hair. I'm
- 3:35Speaker 2: sure you could sit down and have a great conversation
- 3:37Speaker 2: of what you're looking for.
- 3:37Speaker 3: You're gonna leave the faide tomorrow, Lord have mercy.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Well, that's like what I need is I need someone
- 3:42Speaker 2: that sees the vision that I don't see.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Have you asked other people with your haircut on what
- 3:46Speaker 1: they asked for? Like, have you been like, oh, do
- 3:49Speaker 1: you have a friend that has the haircut you're looking for?
- 3:51Speaker 2: Nobody and my life has the hair that I'm looking for,
- 3:54Speaker 2: because even the people we have people in the office
- 3:56Speaker 2: that have great hair, but the problem is is they
- 3:59Speaker 2: have a different style of hair.
- 4:01Speaker 3: It's like wavy or it's curly. I have straight ass hair.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So when I grew it out when I was younger,
- 4:07Speaker 2: it was literally the Justin Bieber haircut boom. And that's
- 4:10Speaker 2: what it's gonna do unless I style it like professionally,
- 4:13Speaker 2: unless somebody knows how to give me some.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Layers and tells me to slick it back. Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: So now my whole algorithm is men's haircuts, and it
- 4:19Speaker 2: has all the different styles of men's cuts where it's
- 4:22Speaker 2: you could do the the middle part or what do
- 4:25Speaker 2: they call that, the drapes or something?
- 4:26Speaker 3: I have the oh, like the.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Nineties boy band hair, yes, yeah, yeah, or like there's
- 4:30Speaker 1: one that's like like the English cut, like or the
- 4:33Speaker 1: you definitely know this one, like the British cut. You
- 4:36Speaker 1: know you've dated British.
- 4:37Speaker 3: No, British guys.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Well they have like a little bit of chop on
- 4:40Speaker 2: the top, but then it's like shorter on the side.
- 4:42Speaker 1: The Peaky Blinders cut. That's the Gummerment issued UK haircut.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Definitely not doing that.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Do not do that.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I want to get it, I think I don't.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I've never thought of myself as a slickback kind of guy,
- 4:52Speaker 2: but it looks like if it gets long enough, I'm
- 4:55Speaker 2: gonna have to slick it back.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I don't know you're gonna get.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You like a headband.
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's just gonna look so stupid.
- 5:00Speaker 1: No, it's not you. You just have to get used
- 5:02Speaker 1: to how to style it. And I've gone through variations
- 5:04Speaker 1: of this because every time I go get my hair cut,
- 5:06Speaker 1: my hair looks a little bit different, and so then
- 5:07Speaker 1: there's like a learning curve and then by the time
- 5:09Speaker 1: you finally get it right, your hair goes out again
- 5:10Speaker 1: and they have to get it cut again.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Well, today is the day we're going to start. We're
- 5:14Speaker 3: hopefully starting the process.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll figure it out. And if you don't. You
- 5:18Speaker 1: can always get a little tipsy with Beatbox. I don't
- 5:22Speaker 1: even know if they're still a sponsor. Are these still
- 5:24Speaker 1: a sponsor?
- 5:24Speaker 3: I have no idea. We're going to talk about that.
- 5:26Speaker 1: We have a meeting today, So let's the deadline for
- 5:27Speaker 1: the Bonnaroo tickets.
- 5:29Speaker 3: I believe, Well, if anything, it's it's now. I can
- 5:31Speaker 3: check if it's on the website still. But you would
- 5:33Speaker 3: want to make at our jobs.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Well, you know what, in our defense, it's not like
- 5:37Speaker 2: what happens behind the scenes is we get told one
- 5:39Speaker 2: time and then it's like all right, go and you're
- 5:41Speaker 2: like all right.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And then they tell you. They're like, why are you
- 5:43Speaker 1: doing this? Stop?
- 5:44Speaker 3: Like we've been done for a while. But we have
- 5:46Speaker 3: no idea. It looks like it is not there anymore.
- 5:50Speaker 1: So it's not even on the website anymore.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Not anymore.
- 5:52Speaker 1: So, actually, don't drink it. But here's where I'm confused,
- 5:58Speaker 1: is it's still on our graphics.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Well, then in that case, it's a conversation for today's
- 6:05Speaker 2: meeting to see.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Anyway, maybe drink Beatbox.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're feeling like you want to have a
- 6:08Speaker 2: nice strong bevy, why not have a Beatbox?
- 6:10Speaker 1: Have a beatbox.
- 6:11Speaker 3: There you go.
- 6:11Speaker 2: So hopefully tomorrow when I come into the studio, it's
- 6:14Speaker 2: this is where it's tough.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Though.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm so scared that, like I jumped the gun too quick.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I don't think it's going to be bad. But again,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I wanted to look good for the wedding. Yeah, so
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'm doing everything. I'm doing a hair appointment today, I'm
- 6:25Speaker 2: doing the dentist tomorrow. I'm trying to get everything ready
- 6:27Speaker 2: to go.
- 6:27Speaker 1: If anything, just have her show you how to style
- 6:29Speaker 1: your hair, because your hair is not in a state
- 6:31Speaker 1: of distress, like except for when you showed up to
- 6:34Speaker 1: our office happy hour last.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Week and I had my bangs down you like you.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Like this.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It looks horrible. It's giving full on you. You look
- 6:44Speaker 1: like a lego, like because his bangs are so squared
- 6:49Speaker 1: off that when you press them up against your forehead,
- 6:51Speaker 1: it makes your head look very rectangular. Oh my god,
- 6:54Speaker 1: giving lego when you do that.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Because they have to think they're textured. Like one goes
- 6:58Speaker 3: down to my eye.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It's it's giving lego.
- 7:02Speaker 3: It's gonna be in my eye soon. I'm gonna be
- 7:03Speaker 3: like a rock star again. Yeah. Well, hopefully tomorrow when
- 7:06Speaker 3: I come in. It looks decent and like, I here, Okay,
- 7:09Speaker 3: this is where I become cheap.
- 7:11Speaker 2: I know it's gonna be a little trim up and
- 7:13Speaker 2: it's a little edge up, and I'm still gonna pay
- 7:15Speaker 2: the full ass price today.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Are it is gonna.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Pain, but you're gonna get some priceles advice. She's gonna
- 7:19Speaker 1: show you how to style it for the wedding suit
- 7:21Speaker 1: as long as.
- 7:22Speaker 2: She has the vision I think she does obviously, Like
- 7:24Speaker 2: that's what I had to remind myself up this morning.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm probably the one of very few dudes
- 7:28Speaker 2: that she sees. She's probably chopping up all these incredible
- 7:32Speaker 2: women in their beautiful hairstyles all day long.
- 7:35Speaker 3: So I gotta give some more credit where credit is due.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, if she can handle girls like me,
- 7:39Speaker 1: she can handle lego hair like you.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Well, I will be getting myself all cut up today.
- 7:45Speaker 2: So maybe when we have this video set up, well,
- 7:48Speaker 2: I have it on the podcast where you could see
- 7:49Speaker 2: the fresh dew, but it's in the process. It's not
- 7:52Speaker 2: gonna be like where it is officially. It's just like
- 7:54Speaker 2: setting it up. It's like trimming the bushes.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Make sure.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So I have you seen that trim on tick or
- 7:59Speaker 1: that uh, that trend on TikTok where people are like,
- 8:02Speaker 1: you shaved your bush, but it's supportive, disappointed, flirt shave
- 8:07Speaker 1: you like support you shaved your bush. You shaved your bush.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You shaved your bush. Stop it this weird or sarcastic. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 1: you shaved your bush.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Saved your bush. What is the trend that you see
- 8:23Speaker 2: the most right now? That one on your social media?
- 8:26Speaker 2: That one I told you I was getting a bunch
- 8:28Speaker 2: of ads for hair transplants. But if I go to
- 8:30Speaker 2: my Instagram, let's go ahead and see how different our
- 8:33Speaker 2: algorithms are because I get that one and also, oh
- 8:36Speaker 2: my gosh, okay, so tangent. This is actually gonna lead
- 8:39Speaker 2: into the social media content of we're talking about this
- 8:41Speaker 2: on the show a lot with like Toy Story five
- 8:43Speaker 2: coming out, and how it just seems like it's gonna
- 8:45Speaker 2: be this emotional roller coaster it always is. Are you
- 8:48Speaker 2: that kind of person that cries at movies?
- 8:50Speaker 3: Because I feel like Abby, You're a tough cookie.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I don't intentionally seek out pain. So if it's a
- 8:57Speaker 1: movie that I know is going to be sad, I
- 9:00Speaker 1: want to go see it so I haven't seen any
- 9:02Speaker 1: of the toy stories past Toy Story too.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Wow.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like so opposite where I'm like, I deliberately
- 9:09Speaker 2: want to put the salt right in the womb because
- 9:12Speaker 2: I feel like it's the only way for me to
- 9:14Speaker 2: express feelings that I don't know how to express otherwise.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Well, maybe you should talk about that in therapy instead
- 9:19Speaker 1: of going to Toy Story five. You're gonna be sitting
- 9:22Speaker 1: next to these small children and the parents are like,
- 9:24Speaker 1: why did we is this man here?
- 9:26Speaker 3: I just row an ass man crying?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Why is this lego crying next to me?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Well, I thought that's like a for me, like especially
- 9:32Speaker 2: like if I'm driving in the car, like my therapy
- 9:34Speaker 2: is like I'll listen to some sad ass songs and
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'll just let it out. Yeah, not like like I'm
- 9:39Speaker 2: bawling my eyes out, but it's like, oh, it just
- 9:41Speaker 2: feels so good.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I was thinking about that yesterday.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I was driving home and had like forty minutes and
- 9:45Speaker 2: I just I feel like I sang the whole time
- 9:47Speaker 2: and it just felt so good, like a full release
- 9:50Speaker 2: of emotion, of lyrics, even things that I don't even
- 9:53Speaker 2: relate to right now.
- 9:54Speaker 3: It just felt good.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So seeing the movie, even though it will be sad
- 9:58Speaker 2: and a reminder of you know, getting older in childhood
- 10:02Speaker 2: and memories, like, I look forward to that so much
- 10:04Speaker 2: because I don't think it's that I avoid the pain.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I think it's that it just reminds me of certain
- 10:09Speaker 2: things that I wouldn't normally think about.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I don't think that's bad. I get that.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I mean, really, the only time I cry is in therapy.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Okay, so that's okay.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't really cry barely at all, Like it
- 10:19Speaker 2: takes a lot to get a tear to come out
- 10:21Speaker 2: of my eye. But like a good movie scene or
- 10:24Speaker 2: if you're on Instagram, you don't cry at any of
- 10:26Speaker 2: the videos that you see on Instagram.
- 10:28Speaker 1: No, my my algorithm is very happy. It's off campus edits,
- 10:32Speaker 1: it's it's Taylor Swift, conspiracy theories, it's clips from movies
- 10:38Speaker 1: I watched fifteen years ago. It's a very joyful place.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I like.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Okay, so mine is joyful, but there are emotional things
- 10:44Speaker 2: that will get me. And we're talking about that. My
- 10:46Speaker 2: girlfriend and I were yesterday. We're talking about the videos,
- 10:50Speaker 2: like let's say I do it a lot with pets
- 10:54Speaker 2: when I saw a video and this one actually really
- 10:56Speaker 2: got me. It was this video of these people that
- 10:58Speaker 2: were visiting the beach and there's like this tennis that's
- 11:00Speaker 2: on the little park bench and next to it is
- 11:02Speaker 2: a sign like, hey, Marlee and I used to love
- 11:05Speaker 2: using this tennis ball at the beach and Marley's no
- 11:08Speaker 2: longer with us, but we would love if we could
- 11:10Speaker 2: continue spreading that joy around.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I don't want to know about that, see that.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I mean, I love it though, because it's so it's
- 11:16Speaker 2: so beautiful, but it like just punches you right.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And see, Yeah, my life has enough trouble. I don't
- 11:21Speaker 1: want to think about Marlee and how she passed away, now,
- 11:24Speaker 1: how you're sad about it. Like I was on TikTok
- 11:27Speaker 1: and I wish I had never seen this video. But
- 11:28Speaker 1: this girl in Chicago got married and so she hired
- 11:30Speaker 1: a pet setter to watch her cat. And this pet setter,
- 11:33Speaker 1: for whatever reason, let her cat out and was like, oh,
- 11:36Speaker 1: it's an outdoor cat. And so she texts the owner
- 11:38Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, when is it normal for your
- 11:40Speaker 1: cat to be gone this long? It's like, what the hell?
- 11:43Speaker 1: So long story show? Yeah, yeah, So here's a trigger warning,
- 11:46Speaker 1: because it's very distressing about animals to make things happening
- 11:49Speaker 1: to them. Anyway, the cat got out and they found
- 11:51Speaker 1: the cat remains because they are allegedly the cat was eaten
- 11:55Speaker 1: by coyotes. I'm like, I don't. Now I have to
- 11:57Speaker 1: live with that. Now I have to know how how
- 12:00Speaker 1: horrible people are and how sad this owner is. She
- 12:03Speaker 1: thought she was having the best day of her life,
- 12:04Speaker 1: getting married, going out on her honeymoon, and now she
- 12:07Speaker 1: comes back to her cat of twelve years eaten by
- 12:09Speaker 1: coyotes allegedly.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, that sucks. That is not the kind of
- 12:13Speaker 3: algorithm I'm looking at.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't want to know about that.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I don't either.
- 12:17Speaker 2: That deserves a trigger warning like that, likegit, you need
- 12:19Speaker 2: to give me a heads up before you tell me
- 12:22Speaker 2: some traumatic ass crap like that.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Yeah that is okay.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So No, mine's more of like a oh my god,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I got to spend a great day with my ninety
- 12:30Speaker 2: eight year old grandmother and we had our beautiful full
- 12:34Speaker 2: day or okay, my pet's last day, and they do
- 12:37Speaker 2: all the fun things like go get a pup cup
- 12:39Speaker 2: or go to the beach.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Mine have a lot to.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Do with pets and dying allegedly, but it's still beautiful.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's not No, it's sad. I'm not interested in experiencing
- 12:48Speaker 1: more sadness. Life is hard enough. Everybody has their own
- 12:50Speaker 1: shit they gotta go through. I don't need everybody else's
- 12:52Speaker 1: sadness on my timeline.
- 12:53Speaker 3: So if it's like a sad song, you just avoid it.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Well, Sad songs, I think are different because they help
- 12:58Speaker 1: you understand your emotions, and I think it's in some ways.
- 13:00Speaker 1: TV shows and movies can do that too, But like
- 13:02Speaker 1: I don't want to know about what you're going through,
- 13:05Speaker 1: Like I'm already going through stuff. We can't now share
- 13:08Speaker 1: each other's sadness, Like that's doubling the sadness.
- 13:11Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Yeah, I feel like for
- 13:12Speaker 3: me it's like I have pent up and again, not
- 13:15Speaker 3: because I'm like holding this stuff back, like I don't
- 13:17Speaker 3: think about it, but when a certain song or a
- 13:19Speaker 3: movie comes on and it's like, oh, yeah, here's your
- 13:22Speaker 3: you know, your reason to tear up boom, go ahead,
- 13:24Speaker 3: and it's like, oh god, I haven't done that in years.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Release I'm good for a couple of years now before
- 13:29Speaker 3: I do it again.
- 13:30Speaker 1: See you in five years public commercials.
- 13:32Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Did you cry at all with
- 13:35Speaker 3: or tear up at all with Off Campus?
- 13:36Speaker 2: No?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Because it was a haja left good time. I mean, yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 1: there were like some sad moments, but I know it's fake,
- 13:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like I can kind of
- 13:43Speaker 1: distance myself from it where I'm like, oh, I know
- 13:46Speaker 1: that this storyline serves a greater purpose. I think that's
- 13:48Speaker 1: why I really love books and TV shows that aren't
- 13:51Speaker 1: like not like Leay mis or anything. But I love
- 13:53Speaker 1: books and TV shows because when bad things happen, I
- 13:57Speaker 1: feel like they serve some kind of purpose of the character.
- 14:01Speaker 1: And I think that's the shitty thing about life is
- 14:03Speaker 1: sometimes when you go through hard things, I have a
- 14:05Speaker 1: hard time handling it because you don't know if it's
- 14:08Speaker 1: if it actually is serve me a greater purpose. But
- 14:10Speaker 1: in movies and TV shows, you can control the narrative
- 14:12Speaker 1: so everything works out and the end, even if it's
- 14:15Speaker 1: not a happy ending, there's always just meaning to everything. Mmmm.
- 14:18Speaker 3: That's such a good point.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Like when you're going through the s storm and you're
- 14:22Speaker 2: in the actual real life of it, you have no
- 14:24Speaker 2: idea where this is going to pay off.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you really have no idea. But watching a movie,
- 14:28Speaker 1: it's like, Okay, this really sucks, but I'm sure at
- 14:30Speaker 1: some point there's gonna either be a redemption arc or
- 14:32Speaker 1: we're gonna understand why this is happening to this character.
- 14:35Speaker 2: See, I wasn't even thinking about the sad moments and
- 14:37Speaker 2: off campus, I was like, I get all kind of
- 14:39Speaker 2: like happy tearies. Like if I see like a very
- 14:41Speaker 2: romantic scene, I'm like, yes, love, and it gets to
- 14:45Speaker 2: me in a good way, in a beautiful way.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 2: The sad stuff, well that usually doesn't do it to
- 14:50Speaker 2: me in like the dark stuff.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yes, see, I'd rather just watch the happy stuff. You know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: Like I find no one watching a sad movie, then yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 1: then you're in that place. But I like watching feel
- 14:58Speaker 1: good things.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Maybe I need a a new therapist because the last
- 15:02Speaker 2: time I was going to therapy, I just kind of left,
- 15:04Speaker 2: just like, eh, I could have.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Done that on my own. Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I think you have to find a good therapist that
- 15:08Speaker 1: knows where to poke you.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Yeah, because I think it might be poked.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Ye.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I think my therapist knows exactly what questions ask me.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Or maybe I'm just like really traumatized.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe both, and maybe that's why you're there, yah,
- 15:19Speaker 3: and I think that is why I'm there.
- 15:20Speaker 2: M Well, okay, in that case, then I guess I'll
- 15:23Speaker 2: just watch Toy Story five on my own and just
- 15:25Speaker 2: cry on my own and I'll love every single moment
- 15:28Speaker 2: of it. So one of the things I wanted to
- 15:30Speaker 2: run by you just kind of get your thoughts on
- 15:32Speaker 2: this is we were talking off the mics and I've
- 15:35Speaker 2: been meeting a lot of my girlfriends like friends, and
- 15:37Speaker 2: we've been going out meeting new friend groups. And I
- 15:40Speaker 2: had this realization of myself because I remember seeing some
- 15:42Speaker 2: stupid video on Instagram where it's like red flag if
- 15:46Speaker 2: he barely has any friends, And I thought to myself,
- 15:50Speaker 2: is that what it seems like? Because I've been meeting
- 15:53Speaker 2: so many of her friends and she has met a
- 15:55Speaker 2: handful of mine, like only a few, and I'm thinking,
- 15:59Speaker 2: wait a second, I hope this doesn't enter red flag
- 16:02Speaker 2: territory because a lot of my friends, and I think
- 16:05Speaker 2: a lot of people, especially listening, a lot of your
- 16:08Speaker 2: friends have moved across the state, new cities, across the country,
- 16:12Speaker 2: and that is the major case for me, like my
- 16:15Speaker 2: best friends, the ones that I would want her to
- 16:17Speaker 2: meet are around the country, Like I'm talking Seattle, Boston, Colorado,
- 16:23Speaker 2: no easy trip to go ahead and make an introduction.
- 16:27Speaker 2: So I was talking to my buddy the other day,
- 16:28Speaker 2: telling him all about this relationship and how great it's
- 16:31Speaker 2: been and all the fun things, and I was like, man,
- 16:33Speaker 2: I just can't wait for y'all to meet. And he
- 16:35Speaker 2: brought up an idea and he was like, well, that'd
- 16:37Speaker 2: be awesome. We should do like a Zoom hangout. I
- 16:41Speaker 2: was like, that's interesting, so like an introduction through Zoom.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And then I took it one step further and I said,
- 16:46Speaker 2: what if we did a Zoom double date? Because my
- 16:50Speaker 2: best friend has a girlfriend who I have never met
- 16:54Speaker 2: that I've only heard stories about. I now have a
- 16:57Speaker 2: girlfriend that he has never met. How awkward does it
- 17:01Speaker 2: seem if we set up like I don't know, an
- 17:04Speaker 2: iPad and did like a FaceTime dinner date as a
- 17:08Speaker 2: double date just across the entire country.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I think that's not awkward because I mean, realistically, when
- 17:13Speaker 1: will you get to see him next?
- 17:15Speaker 2: There is really nothing on the calendar that gives us
- 17:17Speaker 2: any time to make that kind of trip out.
- 17:19Speaker 1: He lives in what Seattle?
- 17:19Speaker 3: You see Seattle?
- 17:20Speaker 1: So I mean, why not just do a weekend trip
- 17:22Speaker 1: to Seattle?
- 17:23Speaker 2: It's well because then it's finding the time to travel,
- 17:27Speaker 2: finding their schedule to make sure they're together. Yeah, finding
- 17:29Speaker 2: our schedule to make sure that you know, me and
- 17:31Speaker 2: Milady could actually make the trip out there.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Can you guys not text? You guys can't pick up
- 17:34Speaker 1: the phone call and be like, hey, when when's a
- 17:36Speaker 1: free weekend for you?
- 17:37Speaker 3: Well, it's kind of like, well, yes, I guess you
- 17:39Speaker 3: could do that.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Is this also a great time to visit Seattle in
- 17:41Speaker 1: July when the weather is probably the least crazy. Mmmm?
- 17:46Speaker 3: That is true?
- 17:46Speaker 2: Because he was like, you have up until about October.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I was like, what happens after the October? It's like
- 17:50Speaker 2: you don't want to visit? Oh enough dreary, cold and miserable.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And I thought, well, that's a good point. But it's
- 17:58Speaker 2: I need to do a better job. This is my fault.
- 18:00Speaker 2: This is completely my fault. And I know I'm not
- 18:01Speaker 2: alone in this about just asking for the time off.
- 18:04Speaker 2: I always, for the past eight years that I've worked
- 18:07Speaker 2: in a full on job, I always get nervous about asking.
- 18:10Speaker 1: For time Okay, that's really funny coming from you, because
- 18:12Speaker 1: I think you had like four weeks planned out before
- 18:14Speaker 1: I even started. You were supposed to be gone for
- 18:17Speaker 1: a week and a last.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And I think that's what messed me up though, because
- 18:20Speaker 2: I took that week off. But in my head, I'm like,
- 18:22Speaker 2: I still have that week off, but that you know
- 18:24Speaker 2: how long that took me to ask for that week?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yeah? But I mean now you can get like a
- 18:28Speaker 1: long weekend if you want to go to Seattle. Now, also,
- 18:30Speaker 1: you don't even need a long weekend to go to Seattle.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Take a flight on Friday, come back Sunday night.
- 18:34Speaker 3: But it's also, let's say again cheap. It's like six
- 18:38Speaker 3: hundred bucks to fly to Seattle.
- 18:39Speaker 1: No, it's not. It has to be clearly, How have
- 18:43Speaker 1: I done more research? Skirts are texting me something about
- 18:49Speaker 1: Netflix anyway? Important things? Anyway, Tampa to Seattle flight?
- 18:57Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 18:57Speaker 1: Why have I done more research for you to visit
- 18:58Speaker 1: your friend than you have? Because for you to fly July,
- 19:03Speaker 1: let's say twenty six, that's a Thursday. Yeah, it's like
- 19:07Speaker 1: three hundred and thirty bucks each, I mean round trip.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Okay, So okay, so realistically it can happen. It should happen.
- 19:17Speaker 2: It needs to happen.
- 19:18Speaker 1: It's your friend, not worth three hundred and thirty dollars.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I think it's finding the weekends that I'm free. I
- 19:23Speaker 2: was just talking about this, like I'm traveling this weekend.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Good old friend's wedding. Fine, We're visiting a friend's engagement
- 19:27Speaker 2: party next weekend. We're working the weekend after that. Like
- 19:30Speaker 2: that's literally how these months go. So it's like, yes,
- 19:32Speaker 2: take the time off, but if you look at the calendar,
- 19:34Speaker 2: it's like work, work, work, work work. It's like Rihanna said,
- 19:37Speaker 2: that's literally the reality I'm living.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I mean, find a weekender or do the zoom.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I think that's the age that we're living in.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I think the zoom it just reminded me of like
- 19:45Speaker 2: COVID times, where it's like you're sitting there on zoom
- 19:47Speaker 2: talking to family members across the country.
- 19:50Speaker 3: But I didn't know if it would be a weird.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Like I'm trying to think of it in my head,
- 19:53Speaker 2: and this is just the anxious thoughts of like the
- 19:55Speaker 2: timing of when to say something because you're through the
- 19:58Speaker 2: digital world and there's gonna be glitches and I don't
- 20:01Speaker 2: want it to be an awkward first encounter because I
- 20:03Speaker 2: haven't never met his lady, Yes, never met mine, but
- 20:05Speaker 2: there's gonna be a lot to talk about, and I
- 20:07Speaker 2: don't want to have that interaction over zoom, but it
- 20:09Speaker 2: might be the only option.
- 20:10Speaker 1: But I mean, yeah, if you're not going to make
- 20:11Speaker 1: the effort to go to Seattle, then we just I'm
- 20:14Speaker 1: just being candid with you. Either go to Seattle or
- 20:16Speaker 1: do the zoom.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I'm going to Seattle, Damnit. I'm putting all the time, and.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I feel like that would be a fun way to
- 20:20Speaker 1: travel with your lady. I mean, I know you're going
- 20:22Speaker 1: to Vero Beach, but I think I saw on TikTok
- 20:26Speaker 1: somewhere that you really get to see who it person
- 20:30Speaker 1: truly is when you travel with them, because things go
- 20:32Speaker 1: wrong and you know, flights get delayed and there's a
- 20:35Speaker 1: lot of stress, but it's also like there's a lot
- 20:37Speaker 1: of highs and there's a lot of lows when you travel.
- 20:39Speaker 1: And I think you guys have made it to the
- 20:40Speaker 1: point where traveling would be really good for you guys.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, to be able to see that side of it. Well,
- 20:44Speaker 2: there's been like many things, it's been like a mini staycation.
- 20:46Speaker 2: This will be the longest one, going across the state,
- 20:49Speaker 2: visiting my hometown. And then we are going to like
- 20:53Speaker 2: Diplow in July in Colorado. Okay, so we are making rounds.
- 20:57Speaker 2: We are going to visit all my friends. Just having
- 20:59Speaker 2: made that try about to Seattle.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You and her are going to Diplo.
- 21:02Speaker 3: We're going to Diplo in July.
- 21:04Speaker 1: So you made plans to go see Diplo before your
- 21:08Speaker 1: friend in Seattle.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Okay, wait a second, let me take that. That's I
- 21:11Speaker 2: have friends in Colorado. Okay, Okay, that's what we're visiting
- 21:13Speaker 2: my other best friends. Okay, in Colorado. They invited us
- 21:16Speaker 2: to Diplow.
- 21:17Speaker 3: That'll be fine. So that one we were able.
- 21:18Speaker 2: To lock in. That one's going to be a quicker trip.
- 21:21Speaker 2: But then I think after that, I guess I'll throw
- 21:24Speaker 2: it in today's meeting if I can get another weekend
- 21:25Speaker 2: off in July to go to Seattle.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I feel like getting a weekend off shouldn't be that crazy.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Like I will say, my one pet peeve is seeing
- 21:31Speaker 1: something randomly on the calendar. I'm like, you, guys, it's Friday,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Like you have to ask me if I can work
- 21:36Speaker 1: because a Friday is a weekend. I don't work seven days.
- 21:39Speaker 2: A week, I know, but I'm so in the habit
- 21:41Speaker 2: of doing that right now where it's literally the past
- 21:43Speaker 2: couple months it's been Saturday event, Sunday event, Saturday event,
- 21:47Speaker 2: Sunday event.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Not healthy, it's not but I'll fix it. I'm gonna go.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You know what.
- 21:53Speaker 2: This is why I talk it out, because I'd rather
- 21:54Speaker 2: go to Seattle than instead of sitting on Zoom having
- 21:56Speaker 2: some noodles, we try to have an awkward conversation.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and realistically, what is one weekend of work?
- 22:01Speaker 3: Really?
- 22:03Speaker 1: What are you really missing from one one paycheck? One
- 22:06Speaker 1: weekend paycheck?
- 22:07Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. I don't even do it for
- 22:08Speaker 3: the paycheck. I think.
- 22:09Speaker 2: What I've really come to realize over the past couple
- 22:11Speaker 2: months when I went on that retreat, my aahuasca retreat,
- 22:15Speaker 2: which was not it was just a yoga retreat, I
- 22:18Speaker 2: was really coming to grips with myself with like I
- 22:20Speaker 2: just say yes to make other people comfortable before myself.
- 22:22Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my God, Scot Jesus. When somebody
- 22:25Speaker 2: asked me to do something before I even run it
- 22:27Speaker 2: by myself, I'm like, oh, yeah, no, I could do
- 22:29Speaker 2: it because if I say no, I know that puts
- 22:31Speaker 2: more pressure on them and I know that's an uncomfortable
- 22:33Speaker 2: spot for them. And then I'm like, I feel bad
- 22:35Speaker 2: because now they got to go out of their way
- 22:37Speaker 2: to find the new route. And I'm like, wait a second, No, no, no,
- 22:40Speaker 2: this is how you end up working seven days a
- 22:42Speaker 2: week for an entire month straight. Yeah, don't want to
- 22:44Speaker 2: do that anymore. So that's the thing I'm working on
- 22:47Speaker 2: for twenty twenty six.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Well, I think that's really good, and I think it's
- 22:50Speaker 1: interesting that you have a hard time thing no to
- 22:53Speaker 1: to just a weeken off, but like, yes to a
- 22:55Speaker 1: week of doing ayahuasca and in Mexico, you know what
- 23:00Speaker 1: I mean, Like if the Mexico want isn't more of
- 23:02Speaker 1: a commitment than just going to see your friends in
- 23:04Speaker 1: Seattle for a weekend.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's I'm good at committing, especially when
- 23:07Speaker 2: a friends comes up with an idea. Because that's how
- 23:09Speaker 2: the retreat came up. I was like, it was their
- 23:11Speaker 2: first time putting on a retreat. I wanted to support.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I said yes, I said, I'm all in. But it
- 23:15Speaker 2: took me a while to ask for that time.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Off of work. I was like, oh god, oh god.
- 23:18Speaker 2: And then I put it off and I put it
- 23:19Speaker 2: off and I put it off, and I'm like, oh
- 23:21Speaker 2: my god, we're a couple months away. This is where
- 23:22Speaker 2: I get in trouble. And that's what happens every single time.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I wait until the last moment because I'm like, Okay,
- 23:27Speaker 2: by the way, I'm going on this trip, but I
- 23:28Speaker 2: mean to make sure I got the time off because
- 23:29Speaker 2: they already book the flights. And then our boss is
- 23:31Speaker 2: always like, you know, I'm going.
- 23:33Speaker 3: To accept it, but why do you book it before
- 23:35Speaker 3: I get to accept it, because now you put me
- 23:37Speaker 3: in a weird position if we have something. I'm like,
- 23:39Speaker 3: I'm sorry, so I should probably just look at the
- 23:42Speaker 3: time get it off before I actually booked the flights
- 23:44Speaker 3: to Seattle.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we're literally in twenty minutes. We have
- 23:47Speaker 1: a meeting with our boss. Just be like, hey, I
- 23:48Speaker 1: really want to go take like a Friday off. And
- 23:50Speaker 1: I feel like that should be no big to deal.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Like in this industry, we can pre record. I think
- 23:54Speaker 1: it's still people that but we can prerecord.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Oh you can. It's technology.
- 23:57Speaker 2: But I think it's a commitment issue of like committing
- 24:00Speaker 2: to like dates and having that locked in because then
- 24:04Speaker 2: something else always pops up. Like that's why I stopped.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I used to DJ a lot of weddings, yeah, but
- 24:09Speaker 2: they would book out like a year in advance, and
- 24:11Speaker 2: I was like, I can't do that anymore because there's
- 24:13Speaker 2: one coming up in December, and I'm like, if I
- 24:15Speaker 2: say yes to it, I know something really good is
- 24:18Speaker 2: going to happen that weekend and I'm gonna.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Be like, I'm sorry, I'm DJing.
- 24:22Speaker 2: A wedding and I've done that for the past six
- 24:24Speaker 2: years of my life. I can't do that.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to do it anymore.
- 24:27Speaker 3: I don't. It's nice money, it helps.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah, everything helps. But I mean I think we're at
- 24:33Speaker 1: the age where we've got to figure out how to
- 24:34Speaker 1: like condense our time because time is the only thing
- 24:36Speaker 1: we got left for thirty.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I was just thinking about that where it's like old,
- 24:40Speaker 2: well no, but it is like that. The reality is
- 24:44Speaker 2: it's like, yes, you could work your ass off in
- 24:46Speaker 2: this time period, but this is also going to be
- 24:47Speaker 2: the time period that you're going to be reminiscing about
- 24:50Speaker 2: in the next decade twenty years, And do you want
- 24:52Speaker 2: the only memories to be that you worked the whole time, no,
- 24:56Speaker 2: or that you got to experience before this next chapter
- 24:58Speaker 2: of life happens.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Whatever families and all the things and yes and all
- 25:00Speaker 3: those things.
- 25:01Speaker 1: You can never get your youth back.
- 25:03Speaker 3: And speaking of that is actually a good way to
- 25:05Speaker 3: segue into getting people into your trip.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Yes, Trampa Bay get Away. You can check out the
- 25:09Speaker 1: link in the episode description the Girlies The Girlies are
- 25:13Speaker 1: going to Tampa.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I saw there's some questions though on your Instagram of
- 25:17Speaker 2: like a confusion on how you're supposed to get in
- 25:20Speaker 2: on the trip.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah. This actually made me kind of sad because I
- 25:23Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, is this the reputation that
- 25:25Speaker 1: I have for these trips or did I word something
- 25:27Speaker 1: weird on the description? But I got a message from
- 25:31Speaker 1: somebody on the website and I already emailed her back privately,
- 25:35Speaker 1: but she said, Hey, I just want to like know
- 25:37Speaker 1: what the approval process is before I buy my flight,
- 25:39Speaker 1: Like what approval process? There is no approval process other
- 25:42Speaker 1: than like are you a woman? And did you fill
- 25:44Speaker 1: out your paperwork on time? Because I think I have
- 25:46Speaker 1: some kind of checkbox on the sign up thing for
- 25:50Speaker 1: the Tampa Bay getaway is like, do you recognize that
- 25:52Speaker 1: if you don't sign the paperwork, like you're gonna get
- 25:54Speaker 1: refunded and you can't come on the trip because that's
- 25:57Speaker 1: like like a legal thing. I have to be able
- 25:59Speaker 1: to cover you under my insurance. If the paperwork's not
- 26:01Speaker 1: filled out, then of course I'm going to refund you
- 26:03Speaker 1: and kick you off the trip. Me saying I'm getting
- 26:05Speaker 1: you off the trip isn't because they didn't think you
- 26:07Speaker 1: were cool enough. Is not the case. It's because I
- 26:11Speaker 1: need to be able to cover you from my insurance.
- 26:12Speaker 1: And if you don't sign the paperwork, then yeah, I
- 26:15Speaker 1: am kicking you off the trip.
- 26:16Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 26:17Speaker 2: So that's good to know because it's not like you've
- 26:18Speaker 2: got to be this kind of person this kind of personality.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And to be fair, there's something in my community
- 26:24Speaker 1: guidelines that says if I feel like you're a danger
- 26:26Speaker 1: or if you're disrupting the group in any way even
- 26:28Speaker 1: before the trip, then yes, I can also kick you out,
- 26:30Speaker 1: but I'm not going to do that unless I really
- 26:33Speaker 1: get the vibe that something's amiss. Yeah, and that's not
- 26:37Speaker 1: to be a mean girl. That's for the safety of
- 26:39Speaker 1: the group.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Correct.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Because the other thing is and you guys who love
- 26:42Speaker 1: the Bird Show will get a kick out of this.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But intern Blake, who's very very close with Bert, who
- 26:47Speaker 1: now works I think up in Minneapolis or something as
- 26:49Speaker 1: a news anchor. He texted me He's like, when are
- 26:51Speaker 1: you gonna let the Gaze come on? And I'm like, oh, well,
- 26:54Speaker 1: I've always been interested in doing like a girl's and
- 26:56Speaker 1: a gauge in the Gaze trip. I've also been interested
- 26:58Speaker 1: in doing like a mixed trip as well, but uh,
- 27:01Speaker 1: safety wise, I'm like, I feel like I can handle
- 27:05Speaker 1: women better than I can really handle like men, because
- 27:08Speaker 1: how do you prove that they're a well intentioned gay
- 27:11Speaker 1: man coming and not somebody who's coming to prey on women?
- 27:14Speaker 1: And then also if there's only like one guy, how
- 27:17Speaker 1: does that change the dynamic? Do you know what I'm
- 27:19Speaker 1: trying to say. So I was like, I texted Blake.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I was like, Blake, you know how sick it would
- 27:24Speaker 1: be if we could do like a collaborative trip to
- 27:26Speaker 1: where like we host one together. But he works as
- 27:28Speaker 1: a news anchor, so it's just it's just tough because
- 27:31Speaker 1: he's not he doesn't have as much freedom to just
- 27:34Speaker 1: do whatever he wants because those contracts are very strict,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and I was like, well, we can't lose you off
- 27:39Speaker 1: your TV or off of our TVs, so maybe that'll
- 27:41Speaker 1: ever happen.
- 27:42Speaker 3: But yeah, I feel like getting other people involved it
- 27:44Speaker 3: is it just adds to the liability of it. Yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 3: that part makes it really tough because even though it's
- 27:49Speaker 3: like it would be so weak. We talked about that,
- 27:51Speaker 3: like doing like guys coming on the trip, and then
- 27:53Speaker 3: it's gonna be like, oh, who knows, like maybe the little.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I know I want to do like a Love Island trip,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but like I feel like, I know, you need some
- 28:00Speaker 1: kind of guy influencer who has lots of single connections
- 28:03Speaker 1: to be able to make it happen, because then otherwise
- 28:05Speaker 1: it's going to be like two dudes being like I
- 28:07Speaker 1: want to I want to do women.
- 28:08Speaker 2: It's like no, then you got to do the whole
- 28:10Speaker 2: vetting process because it's like, yeah, it's kind of like
- 28:12Speaker 2: when you okay, prime example, like the podcast we did yesterday,
- 28:15Speaker 2: go while guys and you're like your sus something's off
- 28:18Speaker 2: about you, and then you're like on a boat or something,
- 28:20Speaker 2: you're new a country and it's like oh God, or
- 28:23Speaker 2: what happens is a lot of times, and this happens
- 28:25Speaker 2: a lot if you go out with a group of guys,
- 28:27Speaker 2: like one person will just get fucking wasted, like off
- 28:30Speaker 2: of his ass and then he makes it complete fool
- 28:32Speaker 2: of himself or he actually legit becomes a danger.
- 28:35Speaker 3: And you're like, I ain't trying to be in charge
- 28:36Speaker 3: of you.
- 28:36Speaker 2: We're adults. You're supposed to be responsible on this trip.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Like that would be the fear. But I don't know
- 28:41Speaker 2: how to bet somebody like that.
- 28:42Speaker 1: I know, so I would have to invest in background checks,
- 28:44Speaker 1: which you know, maybe I should be doing it anyway,
- 28:46Speaker 1: But yeah, I think it just brings up a lot
- 28:50Speaker 1: of dangers that I don't know that as a new
- 28:53Speaker 1: small business owner, I'm prepared to do.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that'd be like it would have to be very
- 28:57Speaker 3: small and niche.
- 28:58Speaker 1: But we shall see. I'm stepping outside my comfort zone.
- 29:00Speaker 1: In December, we're doing a trip to Quebec, Quebec City.
- 29:04Speaker 3: You and your trips, I've you get it, girl, I
- 29:07Speaker 3: like it. I'm jealous.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I mean I didn't really travel, I mean I never
- 29:11Speaker 1: took pay time off. I mean talk about being afraid
- 29:13Speaker 1: to ask for paid time off. The only reason I
- 29:14Speaker 1: started traveling was because on the Bird Show we had
- 29:17Speaker 1: six weeks of planed, paid time off and it's not like, oh,
- 29:20Speaker 1: we'll come into the office if you.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Want to, Like you just you literally couldn't you literally
- 29:23Speaker 3: like there's.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Nothing for you to do, Like Bird's taking off, so
- 29:26Speaker 1: like the show's not happening. So I was like, well,
- 29:28Speaker 1: everyone's going to like Dubai and San Juan and the Keys.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't do anything interesting, but I also
- 29:34Speaker 1: don't have anybody to travel with. So that's how this
- 29:35Speaker 1: all got started.
- 29:36Speaker 3: M Well, that would be cool.
- 29:38Speaker 2: They actually have something that kind of conjoins with you
- 29:41Speaker 2: your business, the gals, but also eventually branching off and
- 29:44Speaker 2: baby doing something in the years to come where it
- 29:47Speaker 2: brings the whole community together.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so we'll see. Maybe we'll take over the Calta
- 29:51Speaker 1: Cruz when you were Tivers. We'll have the Magic Cruise,
- 29:54Speaker 1: so you know, the Station on the Bone. The one
- 29:57Speaker 1: of the guys, the main guys on the the Bone,
- 30:00Speaker 1: he's called Mike Caelta and he has the Celts Cruise
- 30:03Speaker 1: and they sold out like what four hundred tickets.
- 30:05Speaker 3: That's crazy, insane.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm like, we could sell four.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, we'll start somewhere. That's what I said.
- 30:10Speaker 3: I wanted to just do what we should do.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It is like a magic yacht, That's what I'm saying.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yes, because I was just on a yacht and I
- 30:16Speaker 2: was like, wait, we could get with that company and
- 30:18Speaker 2: we could just host twelve of our people and that's perfect.
- 30:21Speaker 1: The magic catamaran. The thing is you do you also
- 30:27Speaker 1: just don't know who's signing up. So I'm like a
- 30:29Speaker 1: cruise is kind of good in the sense that, like,
- 30:30Speaker 1: you know, you can kind of spread.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Out a little bit more, that's true, and everyone could
- 30:34Speaker 2: go do their own thing.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you can vibe with who you want to vibe with,
- 30:37Speaker 1: or vibe as a group. You can come together at
- 30:39Speaker 1: dinner and then kind of disperse.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I don't know the horror stories that they've faced on
- 30:43Speaker 2: that cruise over the years.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but I could only imagine because those I mean again,
- 30:48Speaker 2: and I'm sure this will this is gonna hit one
- 30:50Speaker 2: of their ears. But some of their listeners are buck
- 30:54Speaker 2: wild in what way, like just the most outrageous, drunk,
- 31:00Speaker 2: crazy people that you could run into.
- 31:02Speaker 1: You have never been on a Girl's Gone Getaway kidding.
- 31:04Speaker 1: The girls are great.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I was like a lot of them are very nice
- 31:08Speaker 2: and can control themselves. But I remember when I was
- 31:10Speaker 2: getting started in radio, I do a lot of promo events,
- 31:12Speaker 2: and I would do some promo events for their squad,
- 31:14Speaker 2: and for the most part nine good and then like
- 31:18Speaker 2: ten percent creepy and.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Weird, like the people you would see at the hard
- 31:22Speaker 1: rock casino. M interesting.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeahere you're kind of just like, hmmm, I feel
- 31:26Speaker 2: like this could be potentially dangerous.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Do you think we're gonna get to go on the Calta.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Cruz if we want to?
- 31:33Speaker 1: Do you think we should ask to go on the
- 31:34Speaker 1: Celta Cruz?
- 31:35Speaker 3: I you know, I don't know where is the.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Calta Cruz too, Like, do we actually even want to
- 31:42Speaker 1: go on it?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Well, it's gonna be leaving out of Tampa, so why
- 31:45Speaker 2: are we promoting the Caltic Fuck?
- 31:49Speaker 3: No, go to Mexico.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You can't even buy a ticket anymore, so it doesn't
- 31:52Speaker 1: even matter.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Oh that's true, Okay, So but yeah, I think it's
- 31:55Speaker 2: going to go to Mexico, which it would be fun.
- 31:56Speaker 3: We should go.
- 31:57Speaker 2: You know, I like that squad over there, and honestly,
- 31:59Speaker 2: I like cruising. That's fine, and here's the reality. I
- 32:02Speaker 2: would like to one support, but two also, I am
- 32:05Speaker 2: a student when it comes to getting the blueprint. I
- 32:08Speaker 2: would like to learn the blueprint. What are the activations,
- 32:10Speaker 2: what does it look like? So we could potentially bring
- 32:12Speaker 2: that to our people.
- 32:13Speaker 1: So we could go on the Calta Cruz so that
- 32:15Speaker 1: we could have the magic Catemoran.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah, the magic yacht. Which how cool is that? A
- 32:20Speaker 3: yacht sounds kind of cooler than a cruise.
- 32:22Speaker 1: You know what we should really do? Oh, this is
- 32:23Speaker 1: the other thing. Okay, I'm gonna put a pin in
- 32:25Speaker 1: this so I can just mention this really quick. Before
- 32:27Speaker 1: I tell you my idea, we need to tell them
- 32:29Speaker 1: what we're going to do in Hyde Park.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah we could too.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Let's reveal what we were going to do in Hyde Park.
- 32:34Speaker 1: But also the week of the Calta Cruise. If we
- 32:36Speaker 1: don't go on it, what we should do is we
- 32:38Speaker 1: should do like a bit where we're we're selling the
- 32:41Speaker 1: competing cruise, but it's just like the water limo. We're
- 32:45Speaker 1: selling like fairy tickets to the Saint Pete Fairy.
- 32:48Speaker 3: We're just getting across the Bay Fairy.
- 32:50Speaker 1: We call it the Magic Cruise and we just get
- 32:52Speaker 1: a big group of Magic listeners to go from Tampa
- 32:54Speaker 1: to Saint Pete.
- 32:55Speaker 3: That's it.
- 32:55Speaker 1: And then we just do a bar crawl in Saint Pete.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Now that would actually be that would.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Actually be a really fun We get a little.
- 33:01Speaker 3: That'd be fun, like make it really Okay.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm breaking this up to Genic because I think they'd
- 33:04Speaker 1: be really fun. When is the cruise that is named
- 33:07Speaker 1: for that?
- 33:07Speaker 3: Man, I have no idea. Next March something like that.
- 33:11Speaker 2: It's twenty twenty seven, it's gonna be in a while,
- 33:13Speaker 2: but it's their big one.
- 33:14Speaker 3: It's like the I think it's.
- 33:16Speaker 2: The twentieth anniversary, I want to say. But that's why
- 33:18Speaker 2: it's sold out so quick. I mean again, those listeners,
- 33:19Speaker 2: they're dedicated.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I will say.
- 33:21Speaker 2: It's like you listen to the podcast and rate it
- 33:23Speaker 2: and share it and message us about it. Thank you,
- 33:25Speaker 2: because that's the kind of stuff that like grows these ideas.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Without that, then our bosses are like, well, who's gonna
- 33:31Speaker 2: actually care?
- 33:32Speaker 1: People? Do people care?
- 33:34Speaker 3: They do?
- 33:34Speaker 1: I think they'll care.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about Hyde Park because this was I
- 33:38Speaker 2: love the idea. I'm actually kind of happy that it
- 33:40Speaker 2: didn't work out the way it's supposed to, yeah, because
- 33:42Speaker 2: it like life got way too busy at that time period.
- 33:44Speaker 1: But I mean, I think it would have been fun.
- 33:46Speaker 3: It would have been fun. It would have been.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I think, a way bigger headache if we would have
- 33:53Speaker 2: followed through with it. Probably, So you need the support.
- 33:56Speaker 1: If you're a longtime listener, and by longtime listener, I
- 33:59Speaker 1: mean have you been listening since March. We were kind
- 34:03Speaker 1: of teasing this idea that we had that We're like,
- 34:05Speaker 1: we can't even say anything because the second we say something,
- 34:09Speaker 1: someone's gonna steal our idea. And then we didn't even
- 34:11Speaker 1: freaking do it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I stand by that, and I'm glad we still didn't
- 34:14Speaker 2: say it because I still would have been mad if
- 34:16Speaker 2: somebody tried to take them.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I'm glad we didn't say anything, but we were like
- 34:18Speaker 1: really hyping up for like, you guys, do you want
- 34:20Speaker 1: to be on the news.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Well, on the show, we talked about how Pitbull wanted
- 34:26Speaker 2: to break the world record for the most amount of
- 34:29Speaker 2: people with bald caps, and so that show is actually
- 34:32Speaker 2: still coming up in England. He's gonna put on a
- 34:35Speaker 2: show and it's literally put out there. He wants to
- 34:38Speaker 2: break the world record most.
- 34:39Speaker 1: In Hyde Park in England whatever that is London, I think.
- 34:43Speaker 2: And so what we wanted to do well, first off,
- 34:46Speaker 2: Abby and I were like, hey, send us.
- 34:49Speaker 1: No no, Scott was like send us and I was like
- 34:52Speaker 1: that's never happening.
- 34:54Speaker 2: You gotta shoot for the moon, land the stars. But
- 34:56Speaker 2: I was like, send us to London or whatever. So
- 34:58Speaker 2: we could be a part of this, we could document it,
- 35:00Speaker 2: and we could have a whole thing on the air.
- 35:03Speaker 2: And then our bosses were like, yeah, you know, love
- 35:06Speaker 2: love the creativity.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Uh huh, but.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Where's the listener benefit? And I was like that's a
- 35:10Speaker 3: good point, so true, Bestie, that's a great point.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I love that because I'd rather the listeners be involved.
- 35:14Speaker 2: So my next great idea was we'll bring a listener.
- 35:17Speaker 2: That didn't get approved either, So we tried to think
- 35:20Speaker 2: of the third best thing was you know what, screw
- 35:23Speaker 2: London or England or whatever it is, We'll do it
- 35:25Speaker 2: right here in Tampa Bay.
- 35:26Speaker 1: If you don't know. In Tampa there's a park called
- 35:29Speaker 1: Hyde Park. And so we had this idea that we
- 35:32Speaker 1: should do I don't know if we're gonna do it
- 35:34Speaker 1: a bar crass, oh, no, No, here's what we're gonna do.
- 35:35Speaker 1: We were gonna try and set the record before pit
- 35:40Speaker 1: Bull could set the record. So what Pitplell's trying to
- 35:42Speaker 1: do in Hyde Park is like the world's largest gathering
- 35:44Speaker 1: a bald caps, and so it was like, well, I
- 35:46Speaker 1: don't think there's a record set yet.
- 35:48Speaker 2: So anything we would have done it would have been
- 35:50Speaker 2: the record, and we could have promoted it as like
- 35:52Speaker 2: we broke the world record, and then we could have
- 35:54Speaker 2: challenged quote unquote pit Bull to be like, oh see
- 35:57Speaker 2: if you could beat us, Yeah, we just took pit
- 35:59Speaker 2: Bull's record.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Ten people could have shown up and we would have
- 36:02Speaker 1: set the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of
- 36:04Speaker 1: bald caps. And so Scotty and I like this is
- 36:06Speaker 1: gonna be so sick and so awesome. And so's the
- 36:08Speaker 1: weeks go on. I'm like, Scott, are we are we
- 36:10Speaker 1: doing that? And then it just may came around and
- 36:12Speaker 1: we're like, I guess we're not.
- 36:13Speaker 3: We're just not doing that.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Because what happens is like you spit out these ideas
- 36:17Speaker 2: and usually somebody kind of jumps on and they're like,
- 36:20Speaker 2: all right, we're gonna make it a sales opportunity. We're
- 36:22Speaker 2: gonna get Bars involved, but it wasn't getting any leeway,
- 36:25Speaker 2: like nobody was really biting yeah.
- 36:26Speaker 3: And so at that point that I'm like, I didn't
- 36:27Speaker 3: see the vision, yeah, and I was like, I'm not
- 36:29Speaker 3: gonna fight for it, Like Okay, I can't be the
- 36:33Speaker 3: only one that's like, we're gonna do something and then
- 36:35Speaker 3: just trying.
- 36:35Speaker 2: To figure it out along the way, because then it
- 36:37Speaker 2: gets such a headache of trying to promote it, trying
- 36:40Speaker 2: to get Bars involved, trying to get people involved.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I'm like, no, we need something to back it, and
- 36:44Speaker 3: nobody backed it. So the idea slowly just kind of
- 36:46Speaker 3: burned and fiver away, which you know what, it worked out.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I guess for the best. It would have been funny.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I liked the idea eventually, but now it's.
- 36:53Speaker 1: On the No, now we can't because now they've set
- 36:55Speaker 1: the record we had a I mean, I guess we
- 36:57Speaker 1: could still do it.
- 36:58Speaker 2: We could try to still beat it, because what I
- 37:00Speaker 2: would like to do is like a pit Bull night.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Because I'll tell you what, when Pitbull came to Tampa,
- 37:03Speaker 2: I didn't get to go to the show, but everybody
- 37:05Speaker 2: talked about how lit that show was. Yeah, So like
- 37:07Speaker 2: you could do an entire even if it's like a
- 37:09Speaker 2: two thousands party or a pit Bull night where it's
- 37:12Speaker 2: a DJ that plays the absolute biggest hits from the
- 37:15Speaker 2: two thousands of the twenty tens, and you set that
- 37:18Speaker 2: as the principle of like, all right, dress as pit Bull.
- 37:21Speaker 3: I think it has the same effect.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I think people still what I'm noticing is people still
- 37:25Speaker 2: want to dress up and do something different, Like that's
- 37:28Speaker 2: why everybody just wants to have a reason to I guess,
- 37:32Speaker 2: dress up, costume something like. That's why like the sapphire
- 37:35Speaker 2: was so nice. Why because you finally have a reason
- 37:38Speaker 2: to kind of get nice. Yeah, get cleaned up, look
- 37:40Speaker 2: a little fancy. And that's why these banquets are have
- 37:42Speaker 2: been going to casino nights where people are getting all
- 37:45Speaker 2: fancy because you have no reason.
- 37:46Speaker 3: To without it. So opposite of that, get a bald cap,
- 37:50Speaker 3: put on a suit, put on a.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Loraxst missed a three on five speaking of not dressing
- 37:55Speaker 1: up super fancy for events, maybe having like a bald
- 37:58Speaker 1: cap night or maybe not a bald cap knight. Maybe
- 38:00Speaker 1: wear a wig to this. But I posted on my story,
- 38:03Speaker 1: I don't know if I told you this but I'm
- 38:04Speaker 1: very excited, so I posted on my story, I'm like,
- 38:06Speaker 1: why is nobody in Tampa throwing an off campus slash
- 38:09Speaker 1: heated rivalry edits night? Because those are really big in
- 38:12Speaker 1: LA and they're starting to pop up in like Atlanta,
- 38:14Speaker 1: New York, Dallas. I've seen one get posted for I'm like,
- 38:18Speaker 1: why is nobody throwing an off campus soundtrack night?
- 38:21Speaker 3: Wasn't there there? Oh, that would be nice a soundtrack
- 38:24Speaker 3: nights too.
- 38:24Speaker 2: They did the heated rivalry one here, but I never
- 38:27Speaker 2: It's interesting because it probably was big, but I didn't
- 38:30Speaker 2: see anything online about it.
- 38:32Speaker 1: But maybe it wasn't big here, Like maybe it was
- 38:34Speaker 1: just really big in LA New York, where like the
- 38:36Speaker 1: girls in the gays are more apt to go out,
- 38:38Speaker 1: and maybe it wouldn't be big here. I don't know,
- 38:40Speaker 1: but I'm like, I would go to it. Off campus
- 38:44Speaker 1: is having a moment right now that if someone threw
- 38:45Speaker 1: something next weekend, the people would show up.
- 38:49Speaker 3: I would be very curious to see if that would pop
- 38:51Speaker 3: off in Tampa.
- 38:51Speaker 1: They haven't at a smaller bar, like we could do
- 38:53Speaker 1: it at like the Crafty Squirrel on like a Thursday.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Honestly, though, like it would be great, just to be
- 38:58Speaker 2: able to have something because I think if anybody, I
- 39:00Speaker 2: don't know if this actually happened, but with Heated Rivalry,
- 39:02Speaker 2: since that was more of like the gay scene that
- 39:05Speaker 2: probably popped off at like the gay bars an Eboor
- 39:07Speaker 2: or cocktail in Saint Pete, like that probably did happen,
- 39:10Speaker 2: just didn't miss it.
- 39:11Speaker 1: The gays just didn't post. Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Well yeah, it's like we.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Have our own thing, but I don't know how much
- 39:16Speaker 2: because I feel like half the people know about off
- 39:18Speaker 2: campus and the other half are like, I have no
- 39:20Speaker 2: idea what you're talking about.
- 39:21Speaker 1: It is crazy how the biggest thing on your timeline
- 39:23Speaker 1: can be a total mystery to somebody else.
- 39:25Speaker 3: That's the weird time we live in right now.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Because I was talking to Felicia, who watched it and
- 39:28Speaker 1: now she's obsessed with it. I'm now I've got her
- 39:30Speaker 1: on Heated Rivalry. She's like, oh, yeah, like none of
- 39:32Speaker 1: my friends are watching it, Like, how are none of
- 39:34Speaker 1: your friends watching it? It's like the number one show
- 39:35Speaker 1: on Prime right now.
- 39:36Speaker 2: That's exactly like when I talk to my group of friends,
- 39:38Speaker 2: like I think nobody knows exactly what I'm talking about.
- 39:40Speaker 3: I'm like, you guys didn't watch off campus. Nobody Okay, cool.
- 39:42Speaker 1: They're watching something else, like for example, then I brought
- 39:44Speaker 1: it up to packs in our digital gal and she's like, no,
- 39:46Speaker 1: but have you seen the crash?
- 39:48Speaker 3: I'm like, what very dark? I watched that, remember that
- 39:51Speaker 3: was very different.
- 39:52Speaker 2: But if that's like cause some people are just into
- 39:54Speaker 2: the true true crime doc kind of style shows where
- 39:57Speaker 2: you're not even going to dive into this whole fantasy
- 39:59Speaker 2: world and.
- 39:59Speaker 1: There's just so many any other shows Like I mean,
- 40:01Speaker 1: then I popped onto the Testaments. I'm still watching Rivals,
- 40:04Speaker 1: but Rivals comes out weekly, so it's like I feel
- 40:06Speaker 1: like you can't binge it and get as obsessed because
- 40:08Speaker 1: you're gonna wait once a week for it to come out.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Sad about this time period, it's like, yes, sometimes we
- 40:13Speaker 2: see okay, for example, sometimes we see videos on Instagram
- 40:16Speaker 2: that we've all seen, Like you see the girl is
- 40:18Speaker 2: like missing an arm, but she got pulled over and
- 40:21Speaker 2: pulled over for texting next seeing with her right arm
- 40:23Speaker 2: that she doesn't have. I think everybody saw that. Yes,
- 40:25Speaker 2: kind of a cool moment. I'm glad that she didn't
- 40:27Speaker 2: get the ticket. But with shows like when you're growing
- 40:31Speaker 2: up in the nineties, which we didn't really do.
- 40:33Speaker 3: We kind of on the end of it.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but I feel like we were like the early
- 40:37Speaker 1: two thousands or like c W shows. I feel like
- 40:41Speaker 1: everybody was watching the same shows because there were less shows. Correct,
- 40:44Speaker 1: Like when I was growing up, Pretty Little Liars was
- 40:46Speaker 1: the show to watch, correct, And even if you weren't
- 40:49Speaker 1: watching it, I feel like you were still you still
- 40:51Speaker 1: knew about it.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like it was still the talk or of course
- 40:54Speaker 2: everyone talks still about like Friends or Seinfeld or Gray's
- 40:57Speaker 2: Anatomy still pops off for some reason. I got to
- 41:00Speaker 2: like season seventeen, then gave up. But now we don't
- 41:02Speaker 2: have that every now and then we have a moment,
- 41:05Speaker 2: and it takes so much for a show to truly
- 41:07Speaker 2: be that. Like I think when Euphoria came out the
- 41:10Speaker 2: first time, that was like one of those moments.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but nothing really has had that moment, even though
- 41:16Speaker 3: shows could be massive, off campus massive.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I do feel like binging the first season helps you
- 41:20Speaker 1: get started, and then I think once it becomes a phenomenon,
- 41:23Speaker 1: Like the summer I turned pretty last summer, I remember
- 41:25Speaker 1: like every single week that was the thing to do
- 41:28Speaker 1: and kind of The same thing with Euphouri is the
- 41:29Speaker 1: people were tuning in and I kind of like that
- 41:31Speaker 1: because I kind of miss the community it brings, where
- 41:34Speaker 1: like you're all waiting for Sunday or whatever it is
- 41:36Speaker 1: and you're ready to discuss it.
- 41:38Speaker 3: But I miss that.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I want more of that. But that also gets frustrating
- 41:41Speaker 2: when you're like, I.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Don't want to wait a week. But then the patience
- 41:43Speaker 3: is good because then the people could come in on it.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Alexei, have you watched off campus yet? Oh?
- 41:47Speaker 3: Let me fight her up.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Well she hasn't. Wait Season't that crazy?
- 41:51Speaker 3: Oh you're on the mic really quick? Yeah, pully mic,
- 41:53Speaker 3: go over to you.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Hello, Yes, I have not What are you watching right now?
- 41:57Speaker 3: You're watching anything? You're just too busy working.
- 42:00Speaker 1: House Real Housewives, the reality. Give us. Give us your
- 42:03Speaker 1: take on part two of the reunion it's tonight, Oh
- 42:06Speaker 1: it is?
- 42:06Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 42:07Speaker 1: Your take on part one of the Excited. It was
- 42:10Speaker 1: very dramatic, very very over the top and.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Dramatic, like in a good way or do you think
- 42:14Speaker 3: they overdid it? No?
- 42:16Speaker 1: It was juicy. A lot of drama, A lot of
- 42:18Speaker 1: good juicy drama that I'm into and I can't wait
- 42:19Speaker 1: to see.
- 42:20Speaker 3: How it unfolds, So I can't get behind that stuff.
- 42:23Speaker 2: All right, Well, Lexie has to come into her amazing
- 42:25Speaker 2: magic on the show.
