Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Michael Jeffries, 82, is now deemed fit to stand trial for sex trafficking and interstate prosecution charges, with proceedings set to begin in October at Central Islip federal court. The judge confirmed Jeffries has the mental capacity to understand the charges and participate in his defense, while also imposing trial hours from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to allow him extra morning time to review testimony and strategize with his legal team.
