- Mark Hayes (00:01.184) All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. Another Honest Conversation with two men in black and white, the honest conversation of record on YouTube, Spotify, and wherever you get your favorite podcast. Folks, I gotta tell I'm moving to Cabo Verde. I I don't know, I'm just trying to find some place where the spirit never dies. I mean, this World Cup fever is at a fever pitch. Once again, it is absolutely insane. the Tartan Army. May have left, who knows, as many as ten to fifteen thousand unborn children ready to sprout wings ten months from now. We don't know. We'll just have to keep an eye on the hospital records and to see if there is a sudden rush of manhood from the Tartan Army the Tartan Army back to Boston 36 weeks from now. Brock and Ellis joins me now with a closer look at the World Cup fever. And Brock, it's it's it's it's funny because how about the things that we take for granted? You know, the rest of the world just absolutely loves. You were talking about free chips and salsa. It's awesome. Brock Ganeles (01:17.4) You got people yeah, amazed that it's that it that it gets dropped on the table for free with no you know with just an expectation and a trust that the patron is gonna be able to afford the meal they're about to order. Some foreigners are just shocked at that, what they view is like the generosity of America. You get handed something for free even before you have to like dig in and and potentially pay for something. From that to others Talking about how confident Americans are and how positively we talk about each other in terms of like hyping up our friends and colleagues just in the way we talk and and are so spirited about each other. And it not something we necessarily think about each other, right? I didn't like think of that as an American quality. You know, I think like we're always tearing each other down. So it just was almost Mark Hayes (02:06.518) No. Mark Hayes (02:13.206) Right. Brock Ganeles (02:14.796) you know, eye opening to to to hear in essence outsiders come here and view us maybe even differently than we viewed ourselves. They also think that we're extremely friendly and generous of spirit. Mark Hayes (02:27.202) Right. Mark Hayes (02:35.401) Hmm, we didn't think that. Brock Ganeles (02:35.992) I mean, is that who we are? Are I mean apparently we are when inspired to do so? But I will continue, but I will I will reiterate something I saw from a clip today. So I want to say it's even an original thought, someone pointing out. Isn't it interesting that all this goodwill Mark Hayes (02:46.261) Yeah, yeah. Brock Ganeles (03:01.078) And all this joy and happiness that's going on in this multicultural exchange, the global exchange that's going on, is also happening in America's cities. All the places that Bag has been saying for the last 10 years are absolute shithole cities. Crime ridden, crime-ridden, infested, dangerous places like Los Angeles and Seattle. Mark Hayes (03:18.593) Disasters. Yeah. Brock Ganeles (03:28.054) Right? Seattle, the Antifa capital. You can't go to Seattle and Houston and Dallas and New York City and Boston and Philadelphia. Right? All these but urban cities with the others in them that you need to be afraid of. And yet the world is coming to the and Kansas City to all these places and they're having the time of their life. And then these think they think these places are amazing. And they don't they don't want to leave. Mark Hayes (03:32.556) Yeah. Mark Hayes (03:55.437) Right. Brock Ganeles (03:57.721) But it's just an interesting di dichotomy of what the way we, but it's particularly MAGA talks about America and the way now we're seeing our our visitors, or some say our cousins, the sleepover. They're saying this is the sleepover with our cousins that we're having with the world. But what do you think about the whole sense of the whole urban that the fact that it is it's such an urban center focused kind of big party that's being thrown? Mark Hayes (03:58.104) Yeah. Mark Hayes (04:15.798) Right. Right. Mark Hayes (04:27.009) Well, brah, those of us who who lived around in close proximity to large urban areas in our adult lives have always loved those areas. Right? Well I was in DC when the media dubbed it Dodge City, right? The murder capital of the world. That's all you heard about. I never saw a television camera at a Howard Homecoming. I never saw a television camera at a Howard University step show. I never saw a television camera. Rarely did I ever see a television camera at a Howard University graduation. James Earl Graves. Remember the Butch Graves from the Scarsdale fame? He he was our commencement speaker, the publisher of Black Enterprise magazine. I didn't see a television camera there. Brock Ganeles (05:10.318) Yeah. Mark Hayes (05:20.693) Right? It's the narrative, Brock. It's the media's willing to buy into you know the hysteria to create the us in them dynamic that causes these issues. Think about the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Right? You don't see any news coverage on that. You know, maybe a blurb here or there. Think about all the amazing things that go on in a city like New York. Eight and a half million stories that people absolutely love. Right? Think about the food. I mean the New York Times has a video blog that's just devoted to the eclectic palate of New York. Right? And the kinds of everything from a fried fish sandwich to the top end caviar that you can get in New York City. Look, we all know Those of us, you've been in San Francisco. You never got a a four-inch knife blade stuck in your chest. I mean, look, crime happens everywhere. They get crime, you know, behind those little diners in in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, too. You know, they got a gang problem in Iowa, too. You know, it's not just the big city. They got an education issue in all the red states. How about that? But we only seem to hear about the education issues that happen in the urban centers. Isn't that a little strange? I don't miss that aspect of television news and and and so-called journalism. Right? So it's the narrative that's been created. And now it's flying in the face because, you know, tell journalists, you know, local TV news doesn't even realize that it's shooting itself in the foot. By talking about how amazing our cities are, right? Through the eyes of foreigners. You see what they're doing, Brock? They're doing the work for us. Right? Because they're letting these people who have never seen anything like this before get on the television camera and tell the stories of the amazing people that they've met in these shithole cities. How about how about that? Mark Hayes (07:48.984) Flies in the face of the MAGA narrative, the typical, you know, journalistic day narrative, and every other rag like the New York Post that comes out on a daily basis, you know, that shits on our urban centers, you know, and tells us to be afraid of the others. Brock Ganeles (08:08.385) Yeah, is the news still leading off with like the one crime that happened and like is that's the first five, ten minutes is we're just gonna talk about like all the negative shit because that's not what's happening in social media. Social media is absolutely flooded. Flooded with videos. Like you can't even get away from them. Like it's the only algorithm. Once you start, it just takes over your feed and you almost can't even get out or get away from all these Mark Hayes (08:12.669) Sure. Yeah. Mark Hayes (08:20.823) Right. Mark Hayes (08:36.769) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (08:38.007) goodwill stories that are going on and being told by people from all over the world, every corner, every country that's here, which is was 48 of them, you know? I mean, it's been it's been remarkable. I think I you know, I we keep saying, you know, starting with the Knicks, was it a moment or a movement? You know, is the World Cup actually going to carry the momentum through to allow it to be a movement? Mark Hayes (08:40.204) Right. Brock Ganeles (09:07.991) Here in America and a movement of kind of a a re restoration of our own self-respect and our own admiration for what we can be, because we're really being inspired by these foreigners to be our best selves. Right? We're not hearing about any crime in these cities. There's no stories coming out of Dallas or Houston or Miami or Atlanta, two cities I left out also hosting. when these World Cup games are going on or even the lead up to them. All the stories are about all the fun that everyone's having. That's the video now, right? The video is a hundred Scotsmen in a pool in South Beach taking over the back of the hotel their sting and after leaving Boston. It's not the story about whatever, some drug smuggling, this, that, you know, you know, Miami Heat type of thing. Mark Hayes (09:40.759) Right. Mark Hayes (09:44.14) Right. Mark Hayes (09:48.509) Yeah. Mark Hayes (10:00.384) Right. Brock Ganeles (10:03.687) And it just the storyline has changed and once again I think social media's just overwhelmed any mainstream media. Mark Hayes (10:11.029) Yeah, and and and and that's the blessing. because it's it's it's reminding us of you know the American experiment number one, number two, you know, that we really are different from the rest of the world, right? Because folks are coming here saying, Wow, look at these Americans, they not like us. They not like us, right? People are seeing that Americans are different. This is the land of the free because of the brave. And we get to rejoice in it every day without even thinking about it. But because we have minority rule, you know, that has put this, you know, everlasting black cloud above us, right? We haven't been able to shake it. Right? The bot the bot world. Brock Ganeles (11:08.504) Yeah. Mark Hayes (11:11.147) Can't keep up keep up with the hundreds of thousands of amazing stories that are being posted every second. And the and the negative bots can't keep up with it on social media. Brock Ganeles (11:22.967) We let the fear override the joy. We've let the fear always dictate our politics. Right, Willie Horton, w one guy, everyone's votes changes. a caravan is coming. Lincoln Riley, one person got killed. we gotta be anti-immigrant and fund ice and fuck them, and that becomes the most important narrative in the political realm. We let that as people, we let that as voters, we let that happen. Mark Hayes (11:34.262) Right. Brock Ganeles (11:50.166) So it is our own fault. We allow ourselves to be manipulated, but there is a lot of money and influence behind it, and a lot of a lot of people in power who benefit from that dynamic. And that we fall for, as you like to say, the banana and the tailpipe every single cycle. Maybe not this one. Yeah, maybe not. Mark Hayes (11:54.7) Yeah. Mark Hayes (12:07.905) Yes, it is the banana and the kale pipe. Yep. Brock Ganeles (12:12.855) This one, maybe that's where the movement kicks in that people that the American voters shouldn't say people, American voters start choosing something that they view as a positive vision on the affirmative and the messaging of what we can be versus like running away from the negative or running to the negative based upon like where your what your stance is. Mark Hayes (12:38.465) Well well l let's talk about New York. Mayor Mundani endorsed three candidates. One, two, three, all one. I I I thought we were anti social socialists. what about that little guy in the diner, Brock, out in Iowa? What what are they gonna do when when the socialist movement takes over? We're giving too much away. We're letting too many people have stuff for free. Like there there are too many people who aren't working and and who aren't, you know, pitching in like they're supposed to. Like, we can't just keep giving stuff away. I mean, who's gonna pay for it? The rich are already paying too much in taxes. Brock Ganeles (13:19.819) What happened yesterday in New York was remarkable. Now, it maybe not gonna be emblematic of what's gonna go on in votes in like Ohio or something, but the fact that three two incumbent Democratic congressmen in New York City lost their primary. One, Dan Goldman, pretty high profile, coming off of like the the impeachment trials, right, triggered his career. Dan Goldman. He got beat basically two to one by Mark Hayes (13:36.365) Good ones. Mark Hayes (13:41.197) Effective. Yes. Brock Ganeles (13:48.61) You know, in essence Mandami's right hand man, like Brad Lauder or Lander or something like that. And a ten year seventy-one year old head of the Hispanic caucus congressman got smoked by like a thirty something year old in the primary. Look, incumbents rarely lose primaries, and these were pretty sweeping. Mark Hayes (13:51.575) Yeah. Mark Hayes (14:05.879) That's okay. Right. Right. Brock Ganeles (14:12.383) Sweeping victories. And then in where Jerry Nadler's seat, which was just an open seat because Nadler finally retired, the progressive candidate won there too against much higher profile candidates, right? That Kennedy grandson or whatever, Schwarzberg, Kellyanne Conway's husband was in there. He's on TV all the time. Voters didn't care. Voters went to the candidates that were furthest to the left with the most progressive ideas. Basically, with the candidates that were most on board with Mandani. Mark Hayes (14:17.815) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (14:42.337) And supposedly Rahmandani was gonna lose everything. Now, I will give you some sidelight. Hakeem Jeffries had the balls, the gumption, to come out and say that Mandani has like some work to do in his relationships with Congress people because the establishment Dems weren't happy that he was endorsing candidates that, you know, primary candidates against incumbents, because you're quote not supposed to do that. Mark Hayes (14:42.699) Right. Brock Ganeles (15:09.953) And he wasn't playing the game along with the you know, exactly by the rules that they've set out with the Mark Hayes (15:17.645) The game hasn't been working for us. Playing the game has not been working for us. The American people are are stuck out here in the shitter, right? With no one working for us, no one representing us until we saw some guy come along with free groceries and free bus fare, right? And turn a city into I mean just an absolute a ball of ecstasy right with his victory and now with the Knicks parade like he became a folk hero and that speech he gave that we talked about had nausea and now It's moving into the political realm as you predicted. This was not just going to be a moment. It is now, I think we can officially call it a movement. And so what? Hakeem Jeffries is pissed. So what? The people in those districts are not. The people in those districts are happy to pull the lever for somebody who represents them. And yeah, Dan Goldman did a great job with the impeachment proceedings. Love it. But you know what? What about those folks in those districts who need you to do more than question common criminals? Brock Ganeles (16:46.591) And he got painted with the the APAC brush. So any of the candidates who are taking money from APAC and being too pro-Israel right now, most voters are tired tired of it. And New York's a very Jewish city, so it's tended to vote with candidates who are the most pro-Israel. And that narrative got turned on its head yesterday because these are heavily Jewish districts that we're talking about. And they voted against their incumbents who are taking the APAC money. Mark Hayes (17:10.71) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (17:14.443) So it even tells you that a lot of Jews, even in the most Jewish city in America, are tired of our arguably overly pro-Israel stance in terms of backing their atrocities and now their fuckery as they continue to bomb Lebanon. Well, we're trying to like put this Iran idiocy to bed. They keep fucking it up on the side, and therefore, you know, everyone's. Mark Hayes (17:37.526) Yeah. Right. Brock Ganeles (17:43.012) paying more for everything. So there's a certain so it's really put that narrative, flipped that narrative on its head as well. So Jeffries is pretty pro eight pack. I think you know, once again, democratic leadership way behind the curve. They are they are way behind the curve relative to where the people are. Mark Hayes (17:50.817) Right. Mark Hayes (17:57.314) Yes. Yes. Yes. Behind the curve when it comes to taking the temperature of the people and behind the curve when it comes to messaging and understanding what the people need. It's it's like it's almost like they never leave the beltway. Like When you go home, what do you are you doing the whole Republican thing? Scared of my constituents so I don't show up at town halls? Okay, the gas prices are still high. Groceries still high. The price of the the rent is still too damn high. Do they not understand that we can't this is not sustainable, brah? College graduates looking for I was talking to a good friend of ours from Walter Panas High School who happens to be a realtor, very successful realtor in West Palm Beach. Said he has an eleven hundred square foot property for sale for 550K. Do the math on the square footage there, Brock. What is that? What is that about 515 per square foot? Who can afford that? Who can afford that? Brock Ganeles (19:03.925) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (19:07.979) Not the biggest place anywhere. Yeah. That's not the biggest Mark Hayes (19:12.981) And then what kind of furniture did you put in there? What do you put like tiny furniture in there? What do you have one of those beds that you mash up into the into the wall like they do in in in the city? What like what's not sustainable? Brock Ganeles (19:23.339) I mean, look at this, Mark. Democratic le Democratic leadership, Schumer and Jeffries, both from New York City. Both of them watched the Democratic establishment get absolutely smoked yesterday. Schumer will get primaried. He has n Jeffries almost got primaried. The guy actually filed and then he stepped away. Schumer's gonna get primaried. He's not gonna see another term. Mark Hayes (19:35.615) Annihilate. Right. Mark Hayes (19:47.073) Right. Mark Hayes (19:51.264) No. Brock Ganeles (19:51.608) They're not the leaders anymore. They're the leaders on paper. They are not the leaders of what is a accelerating movement. And I almost now wish Jefferson Schumer had been at the Knicks Parade and talked to some fucking people out on the street while they were there. Because they just have no idea where the people are in New York City. But I think New York City is reflective of a lot of cities. And I think that progressive nature and that welcoming nature is also what we're seeing in all these cities. Mark Hayes (20:01.153) Right. Mark Hayes (20:08.362) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (20:21.175) As they welcome the world and they're the reflection of America that all these foreigners are so impressed by. Mark Hayes (20:25.686) Yeah. Yes. Yes. And why Brock, if a couple of Yahoos with streaming capability are able to pick up on that, how come these so-called, you know, respected leaders can't? That's what I like. They boom. That's what I'm getting at. At all. At all. Doesn't work for them. And and don't they aren't aren't they supposed to be working for us? Brock Ganeles (20:41.847) They don't want to. They don't want to. Doesn't work for them. They're in denial. Mark Hayes (20:55.959) Don't they ha don't they have a responsibility to the people in their legislative districts? I mean, what the hell is going on that they are so out of freaking touch? Can someone riddle me that? I have no idea why they're so out of touch. I mean, does Hakeem Jeffries have a personal shopper for groceries? Like, why does he not understand? Brock Ganeles (21:21.197) Does he have a fucking Instagram feed? Like, did he not see what just went on in his city over the past two weeks and what is continuing to go on with the World Cup? Is he missing that? Did he not see did he really see the results of all those primaries in New York yesterday and not think that he's the one who has some work to do in the Congress? He literally thinks Mondani has to like what? Like has to band put band-aid over like the the sores that you know the the wounds that he created or inflicted? Mark Hayes (21:28.235) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (21:49.464) Mandani ain't worried about his relationship with Congress right now. He's thinking fuck, I'm gonna flip that my movement's gonna flip that whole fucking place on its ear. Well how tone deaf is Hakeem Jeffries that that's his first reaction that he thinks Mandani has something to like fix. It's fucking bizarre and tone deaf. Mark Hayes (21:53.941) Right. Mark Hayes (22:00.169) Unbelievable. Mark Hayes (22:08.811) Hold it. That Hakeem Ho Hakeem Jeffries was the voice of the people. Remember, he was quoting Biggie during the the the impeachment proceedings. If you don't know, now you know. Hakeem, Hakeem, you don't know what's actually going on in these streets. Brock Ganeles (22:29.411) You know why? Cause Hakim ain't outside. Mark Hayes (22:32.405) He's not outside. He's inside with the door closed and the door knocked. Taking calls. Taking checks. Cashing checks and moving on. Trying to figure out the next so-called move. Meanwhile, the rest of us are watching Ochosinko, you know, give his FIFA group picks, you know, to advance to the next round. Right? Because we're we're looking for Brock Ganeles (22:35.669) He's inside. He's in his office. He's in his office in DC. Mark Hayes (23:02.443) Ways to enjoy ourselves, right? As opposed to looking for the negative and looking for ways to be miserable and find out what's wrong with the others. There's nothing wrong with the others, right? Brock, remember, the others were the workforce that got removed from the country. Right? Who's doing that work now? Right? This that's why, you know, a lot of people, a lot of people who study this stuff. for a living are saying this is the worst economy we've ever seen in American history. Right? It look how top heavy it is. By so few. Look how few people are invested in the so-called stock. What good is the stock market as you know an index of American life, Brock? You know, so few people are invested in it. You know, and I was looking at, you know, a friend that we know well who's invested in the stock market. And I thought to myself, wow You lived rent-free for almost 10 years because of a very wealthy person that you had access to. That's how you got invested in the stock market. You weren't your typical guy out of college who was struggling to figure out car note, loans, rent. No. You moved into a gorgeous, you know, ocean front condo free of charge. And lived there for almost a decade. Brock Ganeles (24:33.335) Good work if you can get it. Mark Hayes (24:33.515) That that that makes things yeah, great work if you can get it, but that makes life awful easy, doesn't it? When you're trying to invest in the stock market, a little here, a little there. You got time for research, you got your weekends free. Brock Ganeles (24:43.563) Well yeah, younger people don't have any money to put away for future investment, right? They're in debt. You know, most of America's in debt and going deeper into debt because the day to day cost of living continues to rise and wages aren't moving with it. Like it's inflation's outstripping wage growth. People are Mark Hayes (24:48.268) Yeah. Mark Hayes (24:56.14) Yeah. Mark Hayes (24:59.937) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (25:04.215) Day by day taking steps backwards. shit, I filled up my tank yesterday. I was like, holy shit. So fucking it was a $70, it was a $70 fill-up. So it hasn't changed, prices haven't come down. Trump's ranting at the oil companies because they haven't lowered prices, but it's like, well, price of oil hasn't come down, and they barely have it's supply-demand. Right, they don't have the supply. Cause the straight of fucking whore moves, you idiot. Mark Hayes (25:10.433) I did it. Yep. I did it today. I had to do it twice. Mark Hayes (25:29.837) He's another one who ain't outside. Brock, we're gonna we're gonna have to do our list of you know the most tone-deaf folks who ain't outside. And we're gonna come up with our top five insiders. We we got we gotta do it because this is ridiculous, man. Brock Ganeles (25:34.987) Absolutely not. Mark Hayes (25:54.818) Like you would I again, a couple of Yahoos with with with internet and streaming capability. We're able to sensibly figure out what's going on simply by looking at our social media feeds. We can take the temperature of what's going on in these neighborhoods. Brock Ganeles (26:09.303) Yeah. It's it's very obvious what's going on. Yeah. Very obvious what's going on in America. The other interesting, like as we stay on politics, it's interesting story to draw, right? Is that there was really bipartisan support for a new housing bill and it was gonna try to keep private equity out of buying single family homes and had a whole bunch of other features to really really a long term strategic Mark Hayes (26:31.383) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (26:37.965) piece of policy to try to make home ownership more affordable over time. Not like a quick fix not a quick fix policy, but like a whole bunch of steps, right? An Elizabeth Warren thoughtful type of policy that would deal with a bunch of issues over time. Trump was supposed to sign that bill today. It's passed the Senate and the House. And an hour before the signing, he refused to show up. Mark Hayes (26:45.099) Right. Mark Hayes (27:01.653) Ooh. Brock Ganeles (27:05.941) And they shut down the signing because he won't sign it unless the Senate passes his fucking Save Act with all his fucking voting fuckery that they don't have support for. Yeah, so now he hasn't vetoed the bill, but he has like ten days to sign it, which would then I guess be like a pocket veto, then it would go back and he would probably get overridden. I would love to see that happen. But he you know, he threw, you know, he got all pissed today that he wasn't winning his little battle of the day. Mark Hayes (27:15.529) Yeah. That ain't happening. Yeah. Mark Hayes (27:29.751) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (27:35.651) And he's still fighting for his Save Act, which really had been dead and buried for a good thirty days, right? That thing we haven't heard about that in a while. longer? Mark Hayes (27:35.863) Mm-hmm. Mark Hayes (27:42.007) Has it been longer I thought it was longer than that. Jeez. I I mean it feels like it. But then again, we're measuring, you know, these Trump days and eons. Fuck. Brock Ganeles (27:51.938) But Trump's thinking about Trump. The election is all you know, he's thinking about future elections and rigging future elections. Like so you always gotta remember Trump is only thinking about Trump. He doesn't care if the cost of housing comes down. He's concerned about whether like more w how all the efforts he's gonna make to restrict voting. Because he he knows he needs a very, very low voter count. He needs to win Mark Hayes (28:05.037) Right. Mark Hayes (28:12.352) Right. Mark Hayes (28:16.748) Yeah. Brock Ganeles (28:18.519) You know, when when he first of all breaks the constitution and runs again, he's gonna need to do it with a lot of people stripped off the voter rolls. That's all he cares about. Mark Hayes (28:26.605) Right. Well remember if and if he loses big, you know, he goes to prison. So, you know, he's aware of that. You know, Project twenty twenty nine is totally devoted to, you know, prosecuting Trump and his family and all the key members of the cabinet who have, you know, unlawfully benefited from their position in office. And you know, I hope we get every last one of because there's a paper trail and these idiots are not smart enough to know how to burn paper. So, you know, give me your Your quick hit for today before we have to get out of here. Man, I I I just feel like talking about FIFA a little bit more. Geez, I don't want to take Brock Ganeles (29:09.169) my god, everyone's scoring all the all the big guns are scoring, right? Messi scoring, Mbappe, Ronaldo scored two yesterday. Highland from where's he from? Norway, where they're all rowing the boat on the feet, you know, they're all rowing together after says the stars have been out. It's been a great start to the World Cup. The big guns are are delivering. So this is yeah, it's only gonna escalate. I got two quick quick hits real number one is Mark Hayes (29:21.498) Yeah. Right. Mark Hayes (29:31.564) He's showing off. Brock Ganeles (29:37.452) Headline today that the UAE says they quote got played by Trump. The United Arab Emirates says they got played by Trump. They thought he was gonna do something different and wouldn't start a war in Iran, and I guess they've been getting bombed, right? So like they're not happy. But are we buying this total horseshit? Mark Hayes (29:45.879) Huh? Brock Ganeles (30:01.633) Like they hadn't seen 10 years of this fucking guy, and we have to hear after ten fucking years that they're trying to say they got played. They didn't know he's a master con man, pathological liar, and a psychopath. They hadn't seen that. They hadn't seen the corruption and the idiocy and the incompetence. And they're saying now that they quote got played. And we're supposed to believe the country, the leadership, the UAE. Maybe it goes back to what you were saying Obama said that some of these leaders just are not fit to lead. But come on. Mark Hayes (30:33.769) Right. Right. Get out of here. Tell your story walking. Tell your story walking. We really don't care. you know, like like you don't have enough money already, you know. These guys over there, you know, the remember, you know, Brock, we we we don't hear about the atrocities that these Middle Eastern governments are committing on a daily basis. Brock Ganeles (30:36.043) Yeah. Mark Hayes (31:00.213) Right, and they're walking around over there like you know they're on holy ground and holier than now? I don't think so. I don't think so. You're not gonna find a sympathetic ear over here. So yeah, tell your story walking. Brock Ganeles (31:12.289) Well they're sitting next to the Saudis who are bribing Jared to manipulate American policy and get their dissidents, you know, outed so that they could kill them, including, you know, Khashoggi, right? They're watching that whole scene play out. They're watching Israel manipulate Trump left and right. They're watching Trump take a like a fucking plane from Qatar, right? So that they c you know, flat out bribery in broad daylight. Mark Hayes (31:24.973) Jamaic Togian. Brock Ganeles (31:39.169) So that they could get some favorable policies coming their way and somehow they're they got played by Trump. Like they didn't notice any of this shit going around and they thought they were dealing with like some sort of upstanding senior statesman. It's just such fucking massive bullshit, I just can't take it. Mark Hayes (31:57.292) Such fuckery. Such fuckery. Hey, speaking of massive bullshit, getting back to FIFA. wow, I hate to even put a kind of shit stain on it, but is Trump going to hand out the trophy to the victor? cause that would definitely be the soils going to the victor, wouldn't it? I'm I'm sorry. I just I saw a blurb on it, I was disgusted. You're my authority. I figured I had to ask you. I'm sorry to bring down I I am sorry to our fans. I brought down the whole mood. We had thirty-two minutes of brilliance here until I fucked it all up. Brock Ganeles (32:32.697) yeah. Brock Ganeles (32:39.563) Now that you mention it, right, didn't those FIFA guys give some sort of like medal of peace that they invented and got out of like a Cracker Jack box and they handed it to him and cozyd up to him. And we did see that as soon as things got exciting in New York, Trump had to be at the Knicks Game Three, 'cause that's where all the action was and the cameras and the excitement. Now he sees World Cup's a home run and everyone's loving it. Mark Hayes (32:47.09) Yeah, you got the peace trophy. Mark Hayes (33:01.901) And we killed it. Brock Ganeles (33:07.231) And yeah, he's looking at that final game as a chance for him to like hijack the joy. god, it would be a brutal end to a phenomenal World Cup. But I guess it's still six weeks away, so I don't wanna I don't wanna get bummed out yet. But you're probably right you're probably right that when push comes to shove, he's gonna wanna fucking be there and Mark Hayes (33:22.153) It could. Sorry. Brock Ganeles (33:35.149) Just try to destroy that vibe. World Cup may be too big for him. I hope. Mark Hayes (33:40.708) the Knicks were the Knicks were World Cup even bigger, right? This is the world's game, not just the contiguous 48. Right? I I mean he's not ready for the world, Brock. We saw that in 1.0. We're seeing it again. He'd make a mockery of it. Don't they understand that? Remember when he stole he was stealing medals at the Olympics? Brock Ganeles (34:00.29) Look, he couldn't I know. He could He couldn't stay awake for the he fell asleep on the Knicks game. He fell asleep on the Knicks games. He fell asleep at the UFC fight right in his little backyard. There's no way he's fucking staying awake through a soccer game. There are no goals scored. God, we got Mark Hayes (34:18.381) And his diaper's gonna be dirty. I mean Yeah, I mean he never gave back those medals he stole from the Olympics. Brock Ganeles (34:25.247) Okay. That's something to w That's yeah. Yeah, he'll steal the cup again. okay. Yeah, you bummed me out a little bit. Although I think I'm on day twelve of whenever people ask me how I'm doing, and I only I only have one answer. I'm like, I'm doing phenomenal. And they're like, phenomenal, huh? I'm like, exactly, because I'm a Nick fan. I feel great. I still can't envision my next bad mood. Although you just tried to throw a little bit of like sand in the gears there. by making me vi envision Trump at the fucking World Cup final. But that's a long way to go. Long time between here and there. A lot of cankles and a lot of cholesterol between now and then. A lot can happen in six weeks. Mark Hayes (34:59.424) I'm sorry. Mark Hayes (35:04.299) Hey, nothing nothing shouted down the okay. Mark Hayes (35:10.571) Yes indeed. Yes indeed. Chise cheeseburgers can catch up with ya. It only takes a moment. Harden those arteries for all this these years of good eating. And next thing you know, he's over at Walter Reed again. Come on, Matt. Come on, Vegas. Do your thing. All right, buddy, you got another one for me before we go? Brock Ganeles (35:35.905) What the one with the other one is related. Their sources were leaking out today that the Knicks players were denying the visit to the White House. I have nothing official on that. But this is a story that will not go away until there is a final determination by the Knicks players. Mark Hayes (35:53.504) Ooh. Mark Hayes (35:59.391) Shit. Brock Ganeles (36:05.555) And we can only hope and pray that they properly represent their city. I am confident that they will. And that was some of the chatter coming out of New York over the last thirty six hours. Mark Hayes (36:20.829) Love it. Love it. Keep your ear to the ground on that one. Keep your ear to the ground on that one. All right, buddy. Great place to wrap it up. Brock Ganeles (36:29.783) That's all that's all I got. All right Mark, always a pleasure. Good to see you. Things moving in our direction. Still some work, plenty of work to do. Mark Hayes (36:33.632) Revolution. Good to be seen. Don't forget, vote takes the stains out. Especially the orange stains. But it says vote. Remove stubborn orange stains. All right, buddy, I'll see you tomorrow. Brock Ganeles (36:48.375) I I didn't see what that said. Brock Ganeles (37:01.251) Right. Good stuff, Mark. All right. Talk to you tomorrow. Mark Hayes (37:03.991) Peace.
