Evening — May 8 — Isaiah 62:6
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves, — Isaiah 62:6God appoints watchmen—intercessors who remind Him of His promises, not because He forgets, but because He delights to be asked. Christ Himself intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father, and we join that work when we pray for the coming of His kingdom. The Spirit helps our weakness in prayer. Do not be silent—the Lord hears, and He acts.
