Starting August 19th, Washington drivers can proudly display a new specialty license plate featuring Mount St. Helens, lush green hills, and a mountain goat—perfect for showing off local pride while supporting the Mount St. Helens Institute. The state and institute teamed up to launch this initiative, with proceeds after state fees going directly to the institute’s vital work on the mountain. Since 2019, the project has sparked community excitement, aiming to highlight the volcano’s unique, ever-changing landscape.
