3:42

4:48
SPEAKER_08: So I know you probably couldn't hear good, but they were just talking about all the people.
4:53
SPEAKER_08: There was ten people shot.
4:55
SPEAKER_08: Eight of them were kids, and eight of them are deceased.
4:59
SPEAKER_08: Seven of these kids are this young man.
5:02
SPEAKER_08: This the this the this the guy who unalived these children.
5:07
SPEAKER_08: Seven of them were his children, one of them was a cousin.
5:11
SPEAKER_08: And now we are finding out, now we are finding out that they they shot the mother.
5:29
SPEAKER_08: So a wife and a girlfriend.
5:34
SPEAKER_08: This is beyond sad.
5:36
SPEAKER_08: We previously reported on the horrific mass shooting carried out by a man in Shreveport, Louisiana.
5:42
SPEAKER_08: And I don't even know why we call him a man that left eight children dead.
5:47
SPEAKER_08: There are now more details.
5:49
SPEAKER_08: Authorities have now shared the chain of events that led to Shamar Elkins' death in the end.
5:56
SPEAKER_08: The crime spread started with Elkins shooting his wife, Shanika Pug, in the face at 6 a.m.
6:07
SPEAKER_08: Then he fatally shot eight children.
6:10
SPEAKER_08: Jayla Elkins, Shayla Elkins, Kayla Pug, Layla Plug Pug, Mark Marcadian Plug Pug, Sariah Snow, Kendrian Snow, and Braylon Snow.
6:31
SPEAKER_08: Seven of the eight children have now been confirmed to be his own, with the eighth identified as a cousin.
6:38
SPEAKER_08: Most of the kids were shot in their heads while sleeping.
6:42
SPEAKER_08: One was found on a back roof, according to police spokesperson Christopher Bordela.
6:52
SPEAKER_08: Elkins then went to another residence and shot a woman believed to be his girlfriend.
6:58
SPEAKER_08: He then took part in a carjacking and ran from officers.
7:03
SPEAKER_08: Ultimately ending with him being shot or him shooting himself.
7:07
SPEAKER_08: The cops don't know exactly which one happened.
7:10
SPEAKER_08: His family says he's been struggling with his mental health and voice, that he was having dark thoughts weeks prior to the shootings.
7:20
SPEAKER_08: Elkin's stepfather also revealed that he shared his wife wanted to get a divorce and that he was contemplating taking his own life.
7:31
SPEAKER_08: Man, mental health, dark thoughts, and nobody got this man no help.
7:40
SPEAKER_08: Or or see, that's why you gotta take this mental health shit serious, man.
7:46
SPEAKER_08: Gotta take this mental health stuff serious.
7:49
SPEAKER_08: This guy was having dark thoughts, and apparently, you know, nobody was around to really do something about it.
7:56
SPEAKER_08: This guy should have been checked into a hospital.
8:01
SPEAKER_08: This guy needed to be checked into a hospital or something.
8:07
SPEAKER_08: I mean, man, man, oh man.
8:12
SPEAKER_08: So the wife and the girlfriend got shot.
8:20
SPEAKER_08: Shot in the face, and all the kids died.
8:28
SPEAKER_08: Man, I I sometimes I I hate the news.
8:36
SPEAKER_08: Sometimes I hate the news.
8:45
SPEAKER_08: I'm telling you, man, sometimes I just hate the fucking news, man.
8:49
SPEAKER_08: Just it's just it's just a Debbie Downer.
8:52
SPEAKER_08: But it is what it is.
8:54
SPEAKER_08: It's life, and we gotta deal with it.
8:55
SPEAKER_08: Prayers to the kids, prayers to the family, prayers to to just everybody involved in that tragic, tragic, tragic situation.
9:10
SPEAKER_08: But uh let's do a let's let's do an update on David.
9:15
SPEAKER_02: David is literally being charged with ambushing.
9:20
SPEAKER_08: My girl Khadisha did a good breakdown.
9:25
SPEAKER_02: David is literally being charged with ambushing full as Rivas Hernia Desk.
9:30
SPEAKER_02: I just realized one of the special circumstances that fall under that murder charge is murder line in weight, which means ambushed.
9:37
SPEAKER_02: The reason I think this went over my head is because I didn't hear them talk about this in the press conference.
9:42
SPEAKER_02: I don't know why my mind the whole entire time was thinking like it was the heat of the moment, like he figured out about this investigation and then it happened.
9:49
SPEAKER_02: But the whole murder in weight is like a whole ambulance plan to get you over there and then on the deal.
9:54
SPEAKER_02: So here's the document with all the official charges for David, and then it's the he was being charged with continuous testimony of a child, and then it's the murder charged with a special allegation of murder for financial gain.
10:05
SPEAKER_02: There's another special allegation of murder to prevent testimony, and then the next special allegation is murdered by a lion in a weight, and another special allegation, use of a deadly weapon, and then the mutilation of a court.
10:17
SPEAKER_02: I didn't really search on this because I never heard from murder lying and wait before, and it says it's a form of first-degree murder involving a premeditated ambulance where the perpetrator conceals their purpose and waits for an opportune moment to attack the victim by surprise.
10:31
SPEAKER_02: It's where the more that we hear about this, it just keeps getting worse.
10:35
SPEAKER_02: It is considered a highly predatory act, often classified as a special circumstance that leads to severe penalties, including life without perfect.
10:43
SPEAKER_02: These opponents of lying and wait include concealment of purpose.
10:47
SPEAKER_02: The attacker finds the content, which may involve physical finding or a deceptive plan, even if the victim is aware of the attacker's presence.
10:55
SPEAKER_02: Locking and waiting, the perpetrator waits for a substantial period to lie to a surprise attack from a position of advantage.
11:02
SPEAKER_02: Premeditation disappeared demonstrates a state of mind equivalent to pre-meditation and deliberation, often making it a special circumstance in states like California.
11:13
SPEAKER_02: So this is exactly why we saw the grand jury transcript.
11:17
SPEAKER_02: That said, pre-meditation.
11:19
SPEAKER_02: They're literally saying that this was a pre-planted and bunch attack.
11:24
SPEAKER_02: I honestly cannot imagine what we are going to learn when this starts getting into the phase where more detailed information actually comes out because it's so much worse than we all already thought that it was.
11:36
SPEAKER_02: I also wanted to let you guys know we did not get a direct statement from Celeste Redis' family or their attorney after David pleaded not guilty.
11:44
SPEAKER_02: I'm honestly not sure what happened.
11:45
SPEAKER_02: The news media was literally sitting outside waiting for them to come out and give a statement, but it never happened.
11:51
SPEAKER_02: So I think this is all I'm gonna have on the David case tonight.
11:54
SPEAKER_02: But if anything changes, I will definitely let you know.
11:56
SPEAKER_02: But y'all let me know what you guys think about all this in the comments.
12:00
SPEAKER_08: David is literally being So he literally ambushed her, premeditated, playing this playing this.
12:23
SPEAKER_08: He he literally planned this.
12:26
SPEAKER_08: This is prepaid uh he pretty much planned this and this was premeditated.
12:37
SPEAKER_08: This is sick.
12:40
SPEAKER_08: Premeditated ambush.
12:49
SPEAKER_09: I don't believe this.
13:01
SPEAKER_08: This is this is unbelievable.
13:08
SPEAKER_08: This is unbelievable.
13:12
SPEAKER_08: His ass going down.
13:14
SPEAKER_08: I I don't care what nobody say.

SPEAKER_08: Elise says another rich perv.
13:51
SPEAKER_08: Another rich perv.
13:57
SPEAKER_08: I definitely agree with you on that one, uh Elise.
14:00
SPEAKER_08: Another rich perv, a premeditated ambush.

20:29

21:36
SPEAKER_08: Uh, according to the AP, Singer David pleads not guilty of the murder and death of 14 year old Celeste Revis.
21:44
SPEAKER_08: Man, this is what the fuck is wrong with people?
21:47
SPEAKER_08: Singer David pleaded not guilty uh yesterday, Monday to a murder charge and the death of a 14 year old girl who was last known to be alive nearly a year ago and who's dismembered.
22:00
SPEAKER_08: And decomposed body was found, and the entertainers apparently abandoned Tesla.
22:07
SPEAKER_08: The charges revealed key details, and they were among the first concrete public moves made in a grisly and horrific case that had been under a largely secret investigation in the seven months since Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found dead.
22:29
SPEAKER_08: Oh shit, I didn't even see Sea Tuck.
22:32
SPEAKER_08: Hey C Tuck, how long you been backstage, man?
22:35
SPEAKER_05: Nothing.

SPEAKER_05: Okay, it said this on uh what is this hot new hip hop.
23:25
SPEAKER_05: Okay, David faces this came out yesterday.
23:29
SPEAKER_05: It's a David faces death penalty after being charged with murder and sex with a minor.
23:34
SPEAKER_05: It's a for months now, singer David has been under investigation following the alleged murder of Celeste Reavis.
23:42
SPEAKER_05: Not a I know they gotta say alleged, but it ain't we know the shit ain't alleged.
23:47
SPEAKER_05: Hell yeah, we know the shit happened.
23:49
SPEAKER_08: So if it was ever a time where you we gotta use a legend, it would be this time.
23:53
SPEAKER_08: He guilty as hell.
23:55
SPEAKER_05: Man, tell me about it.
23:56
SPEAKER_05: So it said at the time of her death, Reavis was just 14 years old.
24:01
SPEAKER_05: This brought numerous questions concerning her relationship to David, as it fucking should.
24:06
SPEAKER_05: Like, why is you fucking with a 14-year-old?
24:08
SPEAKER_05: Weirdo, right?
24:09
SPEAKER_05: Based on various alleged videos from social media, it appeared as though their relationship was a romantic one, which led to increased scrutiny for the artist.
24:19
SPEAKER_05: He said, Since that time, many have been wanting to see how this play how this case would play out.
24:26
SPEAKER_05: Many felt as though an arrest would it was inevitable.
24:30
SPEAKER_05: Just last week, David was officially arrested, although it took until today for charges to be filed.
24:37
SPEAKER_05: According to TM Sleazy, David has been charged with murder and first with murder and first degree murder with special circumstances.
24:47
SPEAKER_05: Like what special like if you kill somebody, what what special circumstances is they trying to include?
24:55
SPEAKER_05: Right.
24:55
SPEAKER_05: So, and this is the specific charge means David will wind up getting the death penalty if he is officially convicted.
25:04
SPEAKER_05: There are additional charges tacked on to the case, including mutilating the body and lewd and lavatius and lascivious acts with a child under 14.
25:16
SPEAKER_08: Crazy.
25:17
SPEAKER_08: And this nigga crazy.
25:19
SPEAKER_05: Man, they need to go ahead and fry.
25:21
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, it's time to fry, right?
25:23
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's just time to fry, ain't it?
25:25
SPEAKER_05: Look light up whatever grill you got to light up, or just put him in front of the fire squad.
25:31
SPEAKER_05: Put him in front of the fire squad, line him up against the wall, let him go at it.
25:37
SPEAKER_05: That that's crazy.
25:40
SPEAKER_05: But at least he got at least it's it's leaning towards her family finally getting their just due.
25:48
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
25:49
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it's all that.
25:51
SPEAKER_05: But they say he's looking at the death penalty.
25:53
SPEAKER_05: I say, man.
25:55
SPEAKER_05: But like honestly, I ain't even tripping about that because it's about that time, people they they that the courts took that severity with these charges like this, with these missing people, kids, all of that stuff.
26:07
SPEAKER_05: They need to take that severity, like they need to take that approach.
26:11
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, they do.
26:12
SPEAKER_05: Cause maybe these fucking weirdos will start thinking, thinking before they do this dumbass shit.
26:18
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, man.
26:21
SPEAKER_08: This is just diabolical.
26:23
SPEAKER_08: Like, to what he did, and man, and wait till man, wait till they get into all the facts and all the evidence they have and describe everything he did, man.
26:34
SPEAKER_08: This is gonna be one of them cases gonna be like Jeffrey Dahmer.
26:37
SPEAKER_05: Imagine being her family, you gotta hear that.
26:39
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like you gotta hear the whole man, that gotta be heartbreaking, bro.
26:44
SPEAKER_08: This dude just allegedly unalive your daughter and dismember the body like a like it like it's wildlife or something.
26:54
SPEAKER_08: Like, man.
26:55
SPEAKER_05: Man, Gerald, I don't even care about him registering as no sex offender.
26:59
SPEAKER_05: He needs to register as a dead body due to the execution.
27:03
SPEAKER_05: That's what he needed.
27:04
SPEAKER_05: You know, go ahead and get get him up out the way.
27:07
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, he he he he he he ridiculous.
27:10
SPEAKER_05: And that's the thing.
27:10
SPEAKER_05: I I can't, I just uh I'm never gonna be able to get behind or rationalize or nothing.
27:16
SPEAKER_05: You robbing a you robbing a uh a child of their innocence, exactly, exactly, and that that's really how I look at regardless whether she was four years old or fourteen, that you still not of legal age to be considered as an adult and to be and to be partaking in those type of acts and stuff like that.
27:36
SPEAKER_05: You a kid, you didn't let let her be a kid.
27:40
SPEAKER_05: She had homecomings to go to, all of that let her do that, and you go and you already on the road, get somebody your own age or older, right?
27:48
SPEAKER_05: Right.
27:50
SPEAKER_05: That's why I'll be saying like what like like I said, like on the previous show, like what is it?
27:56
SPEAKER_05: Like, if I'm in in the car and we riding around or whatever, you can't get on the same level of me as me intellectually, I'm gonna be turned off.
28:04
SPEAKER_05: I ain't even gonna do nothing with you, right?
28:06
SPEAKER_05: Right, talking about some serious, some serious shit, and you want to come up talking about some cartoons or some shit that you done seen on something that ain't even on my level intellectually, like, no, you got to go.
28:16
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah.
28:17
SPEAKER_05: Like, so and so if that and that's just some surface level shit.
28:22
SPEAKER_05: So, like, how could you just willingly have an ongoing relationship with with no?
28:27
SPEAKER_08: That's that's not right, and then that's why they end up unalive.
28:31
SPEAKER_08: You don't even because it you really ain't even liking them or respect them as a human being.
28:35
SPEAKER_08: You this just like uh they're an object to him, you know what I'm saying?
28:39
SPEAKER_05: It's a that's what it is, too.
28:41
SPEAKER_05: They don't look at them as people, they look at them as like possessions, exactly objects or something.
28:45
SPEAKER_05: Then when they dispose of their body, they take trophies.
28:49

SPEAKER_08: This is gonna be this is gonna be a good playoff.
31:50
SPEAKER_08: You don't know who's gonna win for real.
31:52
SPEAKER_08: Like you got you got the West uh West Western Conference, you got competition, and you got competition in the east.
32:01

SPEAKER_05: They they balling.
32:08
SPEAKER_05: I ain't gonna hold this shit in the east.
32:10
SPEAKER_05: Shit, Boston looking crazy.

32:24
SPEAKER_08: I forgot about that too.
32:26
SPEAKER_08: Gerald just gave us a fun fact, y'all.
32:30
SPEAKER_08: Wow, that that uh David's father used to work with one of the Epstein firms.
32:36
SPEAKER_08: I heard that too.
32:37
SPEAKER_05: Wow, I ain't hear that.
32:39
SPEAKER_05: This is my first time hearing that.
32:43
SPEAKER_05: That's crazy work.
32:45
SPEAKER_05: That's crazy work right there.
32:48
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so that and the elusiveness that he's been that he's been able to pull off makes sense.
32:53
SPEAKER_05: Now that makes sense.
32:54
SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
32:56
SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
32:58
SPEAKER_08: No, that's why he's been slippery like that.
33:01
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
33:04
SPEAKER_08: No, so that's what that's where all the that's where his plugs come from.
33:07
SPEAKER_08: But one thing about it, once the public get on your ass, they they they have to do something about it.
33:13
SPEAKER_08: That's even like Diddy.
33:14
SPEAKER_08: They try he tried his best to not get no time.
33:17
SPEAKER_08: He ended up with some time.
33:18
SPEAKER_08: But this dude, I believe, man, he gonna he he he gonna be guilty.
33:23
SPEAKER_08: He could they gonna find him?
33:25
SPEAKER_08: He got too much evidence on him, man.
33:27
SPEAKER_08: Too much evidence.
33:29
SPEAKER_08: And it's almost like who else did it?
33:32
SPEAKER_05: Right.
33:32
SPEAKER_08: Who else part who helped you with it?
33:35
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, who who else?
33:37
SPEAKER_08: And and they gonna tell.
33:38
SPEAKER_05: They need it, they need to be going down as accessories to the murder, too.
33:42
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, because you can tell this is one of those situations where uh he ain't do this by itself.
33:52
SPEAKER_08: And that's what's gonna be, that's how he's gonna get knocked.
33:55
SPEAKER_05: He ain't there and by himself.
33:57
SPEAKER_05: He ain't sit there and dismember nobody and put that, he ain't do that by himself.
34:01
SPEAKER_08: So whoever did it, whoever his accomplice was, is about to tell.
34:07
SPEAKER_08: You know what I'm saying?
34:08
SPEAKER_08: Whoever his accomplice is is definitely about to be telling what they know.
34:13
SPEAKER_05: I think it might be, I think his manager might have something to do with it.
34:18
SPEAKER_08: I wouldn't be, I wouldn't be, I I I would agree, I wouldn't be surprised.
34:22
SPEAKER_05: That would be my guess of a first accomplice that it is is his manager.
34:27
SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.
34:28
SPEAKER_08: Oh, that'd be crazy.
34:31
SPEAKER_05: And then, like I then it might even go, what if his pops help him cover it up too?
34:37
SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
34:41
SPEAKER_08: He has some help, and that's what's gonna get exposed.
34:44
SPEAKER_08: And I think that's gonna, and even maybe that Neo kid, his right hand, yeah, they're gonna put some pressure on him.
34:53
SPEAKER_08: Be like, man, you better tell.
34:59
SPEAKER_05: He better plug back into the matrix and get a motherfucking answer and shit.
35:04
SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.

39:05
SPEAKER_05: Just just just in case you're trying to rationalize.
39:10
SPEAKER_05: I mean he was in ninth grade when she was first born.
39:14

39:16
SPEAKER_05: You're trying to make it cool.

39:55
SPEAKER_05: It says senior speaks out after Valley Forge High School shooting.
39:59
SPEAKER_05: Police and Parma Heights are investigating the circumstances that led a student at Valley Forge High School to take her own life in a school cafeteria on Monday afternoon.
40:12
SPEAKER_05: In the call to 911, a school employee is heard telling co-workers and students, guys, I will stay away from the building.
40:20
SPEAKER_05: Police responded to Valley Forge after receiving a report about a large disturbance in the area of the school cafeteria.
40:28
SPEAKER_05: And officers found an 18-year-old student with it with the self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
40:34
SPEAKER_05: Damn, students who witnessed the shooting or immediate or the immediate aftermath are traumatized by what they saw.
40:42
SPEAKER_05: One person said, I rounded the corner leaving my last period class and unfortunately saw a large pool of blood right after the incident happened.
40:54
SPEAKER_05: So initially there was chaos inside the school, with some seeking a safe place to hide or finding the fastest way out of the building.
41:06
SPEAKER_05: According to the student we spoke with, everyone was running.
41:09
SPEAKER_05: I mean, I was one of the first people to round the corner into that area, heard the resource officer yelling and saw the incident.
41:18
SPEAKER_05: People just turned and hurried out of there really fast, and the people were, and the people that were up front, especially some of the like younger girls, were visibly distraught.
41:29
SPEAKER_05: But teachers, administrators, and the school resource officer quickly took control of the situation, and the remaining students and staffs were safely evacuated.
41:42
SPEAKER_05: Our administrators told us to leave the school.
41:45
SPEAKER_05: School employee told the 911 dispatchers.
41:49
SPEAKER_05: It says parents were alerted and were told to pick up their evacuated cure children at the nearby campus of Tri Seek.
41:57
SPEAKER_05: They were later learned that the 18-year-old student was officially pronounced dead at Metro Health Medical Center from the self-inflicted gunshot wound that has shaken the Valley Forest community.
42:18
SPEAKER_05: It says, investigators are now hoping the 18-year-olds' family, friends, and social media will shed some light on what led to Monday's tragedy.
42:28
SPEAKER_05: Students and staff are grieving and searching for answers to questions about why it happened and why it happened in Valley Forest.
42:37
SPEAKER_05: One student said a terrible, terrible tragedy overall, and I feel bad for anybody who had to be there and see it.
42:44
SPEAKER_05: I feel bad for anyone who was in the area when it happened, and I especially feel bad for the I especially feel the worst for this girl because nobody knows what she was going through, said the student.
42:56
SPEAKER_05: Valley Forge High School and Normandy High School in neighboring Parma will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
43:03
SPEAKER_05: Counseling will be made available for students, teachers, and staff impacted by the heartbreaking story.
43:10
SPEAKER_06: Man, that's sad, man.
43:13
SPEAKER_06: That's sad, bro.
43:15
SPEAKER_05: Crazy.
43:16
SPEAKER_05: And I seen one thing that they said that uh she might have been doing that.
43:23
SPEAKER_05: Uh it's just speculation, but somebody said that they seen on her social sheet that socials that she was celebrating yesterday because it was the 25th anniversary of the Columbine shootings.
43:34
SPEAKER_05: Oh, what?
43:35
SPEAKER_05: Somebody said that she was planning to do a school shooting, but ended up doing it like just off on herself.
43:43
SPEAKER_05: Okay, okay.
43:45
SPEAKER_05: I'm like, if that was the case, that's messed up.
43:48
SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's messed up.
43:50
SPEAKER_06: That's messed up.

SPEAKER_08: Oh yeah, that's the highest I done heard or seen, or you know, in in Cleveland.
47:00
SPEAKER_08: 411.
47:02
SPEAKER_05: Man.
47:03
SPEAKER_05: Then one thing I seen yesterday, uh, that it was a 7.7 earthquake in Japan.
47:11
SPEAKER_08: Oh, for real?
47:12
SPEAKER_05: And where they well they didn't put they didn't do a they didn't they didn't put motherfuckers on, they didn't they ain't put them on tsunami watch.
47:21
SPEAKER_05: They put them on a tsunami warner.
47:24
SPEAKER_05: So they like, they like, no, don't watch out.
47:27
SPEAKER_05: They like it's coming.
47:28
SPEAKER_05: Y'all need to evacuate.
47:29
SPEAKER_05: Y'all need to get the high ground, do whatever y'all gotta do, cause this shit eventually gonna come.
47:35
SPEAKER_05: Damn.
47:38
SPEAKER_05: Then even like the videos I seen, like you seen like power line snapping, like the buildings was like moving, like they look like paper buildings for real.
47:49
SPEAKER_08: For real?
47:50
SPEAKER_08: Uh the way they move it, all that like you moving with no, like, you know, Japan no technology ass, they ain't ready for an earthquake.
47:57
SPEAKER_08: They saying like they'll be ready with all that technology.
48:00
SPEAKER_05: They said man, they said with all of that, they got like earthquake technology and everything like that.
48:05
SPEAKER_05: They said, but even with the stuff they implemented, once it gets them high magnitudes, that that's it, that's it irrelevant.
48:12
SPEAKER_05: It don't matter, huh?
48:13
SPEAKER_05: Yep.
48:15
SPEAKER_05: I seen that too.
48:16
SPEAKER_05: Well, they had a uh where they I don't know if if it that was Winston Park, but they had like a uh Singer Ditch day.
48:26
SPEAKER_05: Or whatever, and then it was a big ass water gun fight, but one student ended up dying.
48:32
SPEAKER_05: He ended up getting shot.
48:33
SPEAKER_05: It was a uh in the 16-year-old going down for okay.
48:37
SPEAKER_08: Well, we got Channel 12 news says Winston Salem Park mass shooting, two people killed, suspect identified and located as two schools remain on secure lockdown.
48:51
SPEAKER_08: Two juveniles were killed, and five others were shot in a mass shooting at a Winston-Salem park on Monday morning.
48:59
SPEAKER_08: Uh, the mass shooting led to two Winston-Salem County schools uh being placed on secure hold, including Jefferson Middle School and Mount Tabor High School, as the park is located near the schools.
49:16
SPEAKER_08: The mass shooting occurred in the area of Linebach Park at Sally Kirk Road and Robin Hood Road, Winston, Salem.

SPEAKER_08: The Winston Salem Police Department said it began as a fight around 9:52 a.m.
49:31
SPEAKER_08: While officers were en route, the situation escalated to a shooting.
49:36
SPEAKER_08: Park shooting details.
49:37
SPEAKER_08: Park said the initial investigations suggest it was a planned fight that involved several young people, which escalated to multiple people shooting each other.
49:48
SPEAKER_08: Detectives are actively working to determine each individual role in his in this incident.
49:55
SPEAKER_08: Uh, criminal investigations division said those killed identified in the parking lot of the park.
50:03

50:18
SPEAKER_08: A second victim, identified as 16-year-old Daniel Jimenez Millian, uh, was located further inside the park with a gunshot wound.

50:51
SPEAKER_08: Preliminary information indicates that some of the some of those uh injured may have also been involved in the shooting.
50:59
SPEAKER_08: Uh, the incident did not occur on school grounds.
51:03
SPEAKER_08: It was isolated to the Lineback Park, Burns said.
51:08
SPEAKER_08: I want to begin uh by offering our sincerest condolences to those we lost.
51:14
SPEAKER_08: Salem police chief William Penn said.
51:17
SPEAKER_08: Let's see, we got something from him.
51:24
SPEAKER_08: Penn spoke during a news conference uh on Monday about the latest in the investigation and also about the impact of guns in our communities.
51:38
SPEAKER_08: Man, what what is going on with this gun play?
51:40
SPEAKER_08: I think we got something from him in a minute.
51:42
SPEAKER_08: They got this long ad we gotta let play.
51:46
SPEAKER_05: I mean, like, I mean, I I I'm I'm a firearm, you know, I I I got a bunch of them myself.
51:54
SPEAKER_05: Uh, I'm all like so, but I am all about gun control.
52:00
SPEAKER_05: They need to be more wary and mindful about who the these guns are are being in control of and who who the hands, the hands that they get into.
52:10
SPEAKER_05: Most most definitely.
52:11
SPEAKER_05: You need to be more more responsibility when handling these fire and all firearms as well.
52:16
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
52:17
SPEAKER_03: Who came to help out today?
52:21
SPEAKER_03: First, I need to acknowledge the fear of frustration that you must be experiencing right now.
52:28
SPEAKER_03: And I want to let them know I share that same fear and frustration.
52:35
SPEAKER_03: Firearms are the number one killer of kids one to 17 in a nation.
52:43
SPEAKER_03: These also are 98th mass shooting in our country.
52:48
SPEAKER_03: So I share that fear and frustration.
52:52
SPEAKER_03: So what I'd like to say to those families and parents look at continue the conversation with our kids.
53:04
SPEAKER_03: We've got to tell them to stay away from fight.
53:08
SPEAKER_03: I feel like just have the same conversation about cell phones fight and how just common those phones out how that changes the behavior of our youth.
53:26
SPEAKER_03: Stay away from the fight.
53:28
SPEAKER_03: It's not the same as it used to be.
53:31
SPEAKER_03: No, sound like the property old man want to say that, but but these fights now lead to weapons and shootings and videos, and we don't come back from that.
53:44
SPEAKER_03: Also want to say, and don't read into what I'm saying here, you have to stay engaged with our youth.
53:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, parents, adults, whoever.
53:58
SPEAKER_03: It's not just our job to investigate these crimes, but also to tell you what's going on.
54:06
SPEAKER_03: So when the chair says we have a weapons problem in the school, we need adults to take action for that.
54:15
SPEAKER_03: That means checking book bags before you leave, and so be it.
54:21
SPEAKER_03: So when I say, hey, we're having problems with kids going out unsupervised in the streets, that means you need to keep up with where your children are.
54:31
SPEAKER_03: So I'm giving that information.
54:34
SPEAKER_03: Because if I thought that just arresting folks was the answer, we do that.
54:39
SPEAKER_03: And guess what?
54:40
SPEAKER_03: We have done that, and we're still running into the same issue.
54:46
SPEAKER_03: It's called public safety because we all play a role.
54:51
SPEAKER_03: So I'm not saying that didn't happen today.
54:53
SPEAKER_03: What I'm saying is we're gonna have to come together, we're gonna have to work together, play our role for this community to be safe.
55:06
SPEAKER_03: This time I'm gonna pass it off to my partner in crime fighting, Chef Kimbrough.
55:16
SPEAKER_08: He spoke, he spoke some he spoke some real, didn't he?
55:19
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I mean, he's right.
55:20
SPEAKER_05: Like it's like it's a different day and age.
55:24
SPEAKER_05: And like you can tell how a lot of these kids act out here too, whether they're how much involvement their parents is in their life.
55:33
SPEAKER_05: Whether it like whether they just one of them parents, oh yeah, go go watch TV, go or putting the tablet in the front they face and all of that type shit.
55:41
SPEAKER_05: Like, no, like me, I talk to my kids.
55:45
SPEAKER_05: And to the point where the conversation is like really, they're getting older.
55:48
SPEAKER_05: So I'm like seeing the conversations that we had, like transition from like little kid talk to where they got their own set schedules of extracurriculars and stuff.
55:59
SPEAKER_05: So I could I'm asking, how was school?
56:01
SPEAKER_05: And they give me more in-depth answers, all right, how was dance, how was gymnastics, how was track, how was all of this stuff.
56:09
SPEAKER_05: Like just being more engaged with your kid and knowing, really knowing what's going on.
56:14
SPEAKER_05: Right.
56:15
SPEAKER_05: Like stop, stop passing it off to the TV, to to the school teachers or stuff.
56:20
SPEAKER_05: Like, yeah, that everybody else is gonna play a role in your kids, like teachers gonna teach whatever, but it's still your job as a parent to still be there and and and give them the extra tools that they need to be more formidable in society.
56:36
SPEAKER_08: Right, right, right, right, right, right.
56:39
SPEAKER_08: And and and quit passing it off to the tablet.
56:42
SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
56:43
SPEAKER_08: And the iPad.
56:44
SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.
56:48
SPEAKER_05: Or like don't, or like then you got, even if you're not with, even if the parent, even if you in a co-parenting situation, don't just be the one that just comes around just because it it always time to issue out ass whoopings and shit like that.
57:02
SPEAKER_05: And you be a disciplinary.
57:04
SPEAKER_05: No, like be around.
57:06
SPEAKER_05: Like, even if you're not in the same state as your kid or something like, I would call them.
57:10
SPEAKER_05: If I was in this, wasn't in the same state of my kid, I'm calling my kids every day.
57:15
SPEAKER_05: I don't care what time I got home from work.
57:17
SPEAKER_05: I'm waking up every morning, I'm calling their phone.
57:19
SPEAKER_05: Hey, hey, come on.
57:20
SPEAKER_05: I I'm hoping y'all have a safe and productive day at school.
57:24
SPEAKER_05: You know, call me when y'all get out of school.
57:26
SPEAKER_05: I'm asking, like, all of that.
57:28
SPEAKER_05: Like we we need that.
57:30
SPEAKER_05: And it ain't just men, it's women too.
57:32
SPEAKER_05: Like, we we all need to just come c like come together and do that.
57:36
SPEAKER_05: Right, for sure.
57:38
SPEAKER_05: For sure.
57:39
SPEAKER_05: And I mean, then like even like just thinking like that, even make you think about the amount of kids.
57:45
SPEAKER_05: Like, that's why everybody, oh, you you you should try to have a boy.
57:50
SPEAKER_05: I'm cool.
57:50
SPEAKER_05: I'm two and through.
57:51
SPEAKER_05: I'm I got my two, I'm good.
57:53
SPEAKER_05: Cause you gotta think, just them two, them as two different individuals.
57:57
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they my kids, but they two different people, different birthdays, different ages, everything, and different.
58:04
SPEAKER_05: They both going through, even though they go to the same school, they got different walks of life and they in different aspects of their life.
58:11
SPEAKER_05: So I need to be able, I can't talk to one how I talk to the other because they on different intellectual levels.
58:18
SPEAKER_05: Imagine if I had five kids.
58:21
SPEAKER_08: Right.
58:21
SPEAKER_08: Trying to figure out five different personalities.
58:24
SPEAKER_05: You got you gotta be smart about it.
58:26
SPEAKER_05: And then not only that, shit, bread is ten dollars, milk is eight fifty.
58:32
SPEAKER_05: And so it's like, imagine you got five fucking kids and you got like that.
58:36
SPEAKER_05: You buying three gallons of milk every trip you go to the store.
58:39
SPEAKER_05: Four loads of bread.
58:41
SPEAKER_05: Stuff like that.
58:42
SPEAKER_05: You gotta think.
58:42
SPEAKER_05: Then I got little girls, so shit, the same purses and stuff that all these adult women, oh, see, this is nice, this is cute.
58:50
SPEAKER_05: I want this.
58:50
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they're gonna grow into that.
58:53
SPEAKER_05: So, like, shit, unless more.
58:55
SPEAKER_05: I told my unless y'all starting to GoFundMe to help me purchase fund.
59:00
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they want you to have that boy.
59:01
SPEAKER_05: You hear me?
59:02
SPEAKER_05: Like, no, yeah, unless y'all starting to GoFundMe to help find all of this shit.
59:06
SPEAKER_05: Let me be financially responsible and take care of this.
