- 0:00I want to get your thoughts on what this influencer. And I know as
- 0:03soon as I say influencer, you kind of roll your eyes. What she
- 0:05did while giving birth? Okay, So this influencer goes into the hospital,
- 0:09she's literally in labor when she decides, you know, I still got to
- 0:14give my fans, my followers the content to they crave. And so she
- 0:19began to do a quote get ready with me video, you know you send
- 0:23people do this. Were like, yeah, while they're putting their makeup on,
- 0:25It's like, here's the video of how I get ready. She's in
- 0:28labor, okay, putting on full makeup, I mean, the works,
- 0:32okay, And so people are criticizing, are going that was literally the last
- 0:38thing on my mind when I was pushing out a baby. Now Amanda having
- 0:41pushed out two babies separately, can you even imagine? So I had scheduled
- 0:49Oh my gosh, what are they even a C section? Nope, nope,
- 0:52nope, I had a scheduled sports physical delivery. Is holy cow,
- 1:00mom brain over here. No, I'm not pregnant. But anyway, I
- 1:04ended up like waking up in the morning, getting ready, I did my
- 1:08hair in make and I rolled in in and out like ready to ready to
- 1:14go. You have this photo like your first photo with your babies. Was
- 1:17you looking like pretty ready to go? Yes, it wasn't. It wasn't
- 1:21terrible. I thought we could both go in on this lady together, but
- 1:23it sounds like you're one of her. Well, and no, it was
- 1:26just that was what I chose to do. And you know, I still
- 1:30look like I had a baby. I'm not looking like a gal Amazon because
- 1:33I was laying in the hospital, you know, for twelve hours. She
- 1:36had had a rough go with Briggs. Sid was a little bit more like,
- 1:38oh gosh, okay, she just kind of fell out this. No,
- 1:42that was Briggs and that's not exactly how it went down. But I
- 1:49was very, very lucky. Yes, I did not have an intense birthing
- 1:52experience. Yeah, there, it wasn't anything quite like that. Well,
- 1:56some people were commenting things like, I don't understand how you could do this
- 1:59during labor, or I threw up five minutes before I started pushing. I'd
- 2:02puke in my hair. No amount of makeup in the world would have made
- 2:05me look ready for those photos. And that's just it. Everybody has their
- 2:08own birth and experience, and for me, this is a no, like
- 2:13I'm not gonna be in there getting ready, like follow along with me to
- 2:15do this. That's a little. It is. Objectively, it's pretty annoying.
- 2:19It is very much. It's kind of refreshing when I see, you
- 2:21know, people on my timeline posting their first photo with their babies, and
- 2:24it's always nice, Like, even if I don't even know you, i'd
- 2:28really have to hate you to not feel some joy for you. Of course,
- 2:30seriously like that photo. But when you see a girl you know who's
- 2:34otherwise really put together and always getting ready get but to see that really raw,
- 2:38no makeup at all, looking like unrecognizable at sometimes of course, which
- 2:43is fine, but it's just really it's really nice, a primal moment.
- 2:46And I also love the fact that you're noticing that and you appreciate that,
- 2:52because I think we've gotten to a point too, and maybe it's post COVID
- 2:55whatever you want it to be, just more people looking natural in general.
- 2:59Totally. Yeah, I used to care so much get ready to do and
- 3:01I don't buy you because I remember, like in you know, junior high,
- 3:06the first time girls would come in without their makeup done, it's like
- 3:08the boys weren't nice. They were not nice about it. I like this
- 3:13new energy that we're putting out there is a society, I think, Yeah,
- 3:15just more natural just in general. Yeah, like not shaving, you
- 3:20don't have to shave. That's new too. Have you tried it? That
- 3:23One's not for me? Really? Let's see those aren't pitch you got?
- 3:27She's bear skin? Yeah? No, I'm none of you know this about
- 3:30me? Hair freaks me out? Yeah, freaks me out. Well,
- 3:35you got a bunch on your head? That's weird. How do you feel
- 3:38about that? Like it a minute in the morning, Big Natty eight point
- 3:40seven. You know, we like to do this thing called is It Weird,
- 3:46where we just openly discussed weird things we do in our personal lives,
- 3:50this sort of question are they weird or not? And so we come to
- 3:52the table here on the show and find out. Amanda, you are you
- 3:55wanting to go first? Yeah? I really don't want to admit to this
- 3:58because I have a feeling my husban's listening right now, and I know he
- 4:01does this and I call him out for it. But uh, I did
- 4:04it the other day. I was really busy and I opened the dishwasher,
- 4:10and there were a couple of things that needed to go in there, and
- 4:12I knew that they were already clean. Can I just comment on what a
- 4:15cool time it is to mow the grass outside of the studio during the live
- 4:19morning show room room. You got to get in before the heat. I
- 4:23get it, But I'm just saying, if you guys are hearing a dull
- 4:26roar, that's not my tummy. You probably are we shondier outside the window.
- 4:30Sorry, Amanda Tod interrupt Go ahead, No, it's good anyway.
- 4:32So I opened the dishwasher thinking it's it's empty. Nope, it's not.
- 4:38It's pretty full. And I only had like three things to put in it.
- 4:42Pike and I could have unloaded the dishwasher. I could have, and
- 4:46I knew it was clean, but I put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher
- 4:50and restarted the dishwasher because I was too lazy. Is that weird? I'm
- 4:56gonna make sure I'm understanding this right. You open the dishwasher. There was
- 5:00clean dishes in there, how many like a full load, and there was
- 5:03enough to I had to put three dishes in there. I was able to
- 5:06squeeze them in no what You're just delaying the dishwasher, pond, all of
- 5:13it. It's like, just because I didn't want those three dishes to be
- 5:15sitting in the sink. It's super lazy. I just, you know,
- 5:18I just I don't think it's weird. What I do think is weird is
- 5:23that it seems like weekly when we do this, it's almost always kitchen related.
- 5:28With you, I think I'm starting to think your whole life just revolves
- 5:30around the kitchen. No, last week it was about food. Well,
- 5:35I mean, right, weird, where do you get the food? I
- 5:39wonder that happened to be in the lake. But anyway, No, No,
- 5:44that's it. I couldn't judge, possibly first of all, because I
- 5:47do not ever do the dishes. They would just sit in there. Yeah.
- 5:50It's the same as the laundry for me, because I'll do my laundry
- 5:54and I was leave it in the dryer and just hand pick clothes out of
- 5:57there every day. Oh that's so annoying. Yeah, so my wife will
- 6:00eventually have to take mine out of the dryer to do her clothes because we
- 6:03do them separately. But with the dishes, we do them together, and
- 6:05she just does it because she knows. I just won't do it. Really,
- 6:09I know, a real pile of garbage. Gosh, no kidding.
- 6:12All right, maybe you should step up your kitchen game. Listen, I
- 6:15can rattle the pots and pans a little bit if I need to. We're
- 6:17making pasta Friday. Don't think I'm not coming through with a nice dish.
- 6:21We had that last night, A nice little pasta dish. I love spaghette.
- 6:26I love spaghetti. I mean, is it weird that I kind of
- 6:29like the heat? A lot of people complain, like yesterday was too hot,
- 6:32too hot to be out. I like it. I think I think
- 6:35I'm a heat guy. Yeah, I would rather be hot than cold.
- 6:41Can we talk about that, because a lot of people say, oh,
- 6:44you know, I'd much rather be like covered up thirty degrees. Oh,
- 6:47at least you can layer up than one hundred degrees or ninety degrees. Like
- 6:51yesterday wasn't even ninety. Oh was it ninety? It was ninety rolling into
- 6:57from you to me. It's just it's not even close because like yesterday,
- 7:00yeah it was hot, but I still got to golf all day. Still
- 7:03could have said it on the patio when it's thirty degrees you're not doing any
- 7:06of that. You're staying inside. I'm with you. You obviously know this
- 7:10about me, like, bring on the heat. It's not too much for
- 7:13my husband is the opposite though. He it's just it's too hot for him.
- 7:17He it's just he gets irritated, and I get that. I'm not
- 7:21the heat it went extreme, is not uncomfortable. But I'm just saying,
- 7:26like, there's still things you can do compared to the winter where there are
- 7:29just other than ice fishing and snowmobiling, there's just like no options. You
- 7:32know. Yeah, you're not just hanging out outside in jeanet. Yeah you're
- 7:35not gonna sit on patio. I know that. Maybe with a nice bonfire
- 7:40in snow pants, but even then, Yeah, no, I'm with you.
- 7:43I don't think that's super weird. I appreciate you saying that. I
- 7:46guess we're not as weird as we think. No, we got to come
- 7:47up with weirder stuff, it'd be weird. That's when we got it all
- 7:51right. Turned out. Next week, we're just going to read each other's
- 7:55Google search history. Take a minute in the morning. Despite the smoke,
- 8:01it was a lovely week and hope everybody had a good one back at it
- 8:03today. But Amanda, would you like to discuss the highs and the lows
- 8:07of our weekend? Oh? I think I think it would be very exciting.
- 8:09Give me the give me the high point of your weekend and then the
- 8:13low point and if you want to chime in too, Heck, we'd love
- 8:15to hear about your weekend. Seven oh one two eight one seven. Yeah,
- 8:18you want to start with a high point? Yeah, high point for
- 8:20me. We have not done a date night in a really long time,
- 8:24my husband and I, and on Friday night, we ended up doing a
- 8:26little date night that turned into running into a bunch of friends. My brother
- 8:31ended up coming hanging out, Uh, met some people. We ended up
- 8:35doing karaoke. Really, you know me, I don't say what this last
- 8:39week you were like talking about your pap anataarn yep. Impression that happened?
- 8:45Did she come out? She came out? Uh Sultan pepa shoop that happened?
- 8:48Really, yep. It was just it was a high point because if
- 8:52you anybody else have a turn. Jeez, I know it was just you're
- 8:56paying the host. Amanda up next on deck on deck, Amanda, Okay,
- 9:03that's hilarious. But that was, Uh, that was just a high
- 9:07point. It's been a while since we just kind of like let loose and
- 9:09had fun and really mixing and matching friends too. That's always fun. Yeah,
- 9:13it was just it was great. Did you I can go to the
- 9:16instant low point if you'd like, I would love to hear it. Uh
- 9:18Saturday morning, Oh sure, yeah, I did I have anything to do
- 9:22with Friday? It did. It was one of those moments where I'm not
- 9:24young, I'm not fun anymore. I need to tell yourself in those moments.
- 9:28Yeah, but man, Saturday was us. Saturday was a little rough
- 9:33for mom over there. That's just it. You know what they say about
- 9:35having some drinks at night, it's borrowing happiness from the next day. Absolutely,
- 9:39And it wasn't even Yes, of course there was drinks involved. I'm
- 9:43not gonna pretend like there wasn't. But for me, it was that we
- 9:46stayed up till midnight. And if I am not in bed, especially on
- 9:50like a Friday, because we wake up at three thirty in the morning.
- 9:52By I mean even that nine thirty, ten o'clock, that's kind of the
- 9:56switch too. Fight anything after that just a puddle. Yeah, I hear
- 10:00you. Saturday night, you know, we were talking Piaz. I think
- 10:01it was yesterday, was National ice Cream Day. Yeah, it was just
- 10:05on my mind. And we just happened to be driving through Morehead and I
- 10:07saw the DQ logo and I thought, we're talking the original Dairy Queen right
- 10:13on ag No, it's so funny. We actually drove by that the eighth
- 10:15Street and there was a long line. Of course, it was like a
- 10:18beautiful evening. Yeah, and I thought, well, no, I'm not
- 10:20going to do that, but I know there's another one down by the interstate,
- 10:24so we went to that one. Got right in medium cookie do blizzard,
- 10:28the only thing I've ever ordered from Dairy Queen since I was a child.
- 10:31That's my go to, even though it's a thousand calories or whatever.
- 10:33And I just destroyed it, and you know me and I'm driving, but
- 10:37thankfully I was able to eat the thing before we even got out of the
- 10:39parking lot. Man, you were going to town on that bad bad you
- 10:43know me. Did you get like chicken strips or anything with it? Or
- 10:45did you just do ice cream? No? Man, I'm not a millionaire
- 10:48and the blizzard was enough. My god, you're not wrong. No,
- 10:54it's great. Also, can we go with a low point for the weekend?
- 10:56How much everything is? Like we open our bank account on Saturday and
- 11:01I don't remember. I was like we were out, Like what happened?
- 11:05Uh, like what happened? I also don't really remember eating, but my
- 11:09gosh, it happens quick. I know. They said the cost of the
- 11:11blizzard. I said, are you are you sure? I know no,
- 11:16I just had the blizzard. That was all I Then the low point,
- 11:18Amanda. You know, I just hate to say it, but yesterday eighteen
- 11:20holes at Rose Creek and pretty much holds one through eighteen or the low points.
- 11:24So not good. Not a good day. What are you gonna do
- 11:28about this? Because this game is I mean, now you're on a bad
- 11:31street and it's two in a row. It's just been embarrassing. So I
- 11:33mean, it was a nice time. We got it in before the monsoon
- 11:37yesterday afternoon. Yeah, that was crazy. We got home before that as
- 11:39well. I saw like West Fargo streets were underwit those vehicles. I'm like,
- 11:43uh, this isn't okay. I know. I had to put the
- 11:46booies up on my Ultima. It's got those they got like a two and
- 11:50a half inches of rain in just that short amount of time. Yeah,
- 11:52yep, so nope, not good. But we'll be back. We'll be
- 11:56better for it. Will I go to the rains to work on things?
- 11:58Probably not? Okay, So you're just going to complain on Thursday after you
- 12:01lose league night again, that's right? Okay, yeah, perfect, We're
- 12:05all there for it. And Amanda in the morning on big and now Amanda
- 12:11fills the sea. We'll see. I mean, we know it's over right
- 12:16between Ben and Jen, even though they haven't officially filed for divorce on either
- 12:22side of things. Over the weekend it just made me really sad for her.
- 12:26She had a fancy birthday party over the weekend. It was a Bridgerton
- 12:30theme, which just all of it, the fact that she's throwing a party
- 12:33for herself. You want to say, she'll be it's her birthdays. Actually
- 12:37on Wednesday she had a bunch of people there that were close to her.
- 12:41Of course by Maffleck was not there. Oh you didn't want to go.
- 12:45One of the Bridgerton guys of her that she had posted some selfies. I
- 12:48mean, she looks great. She doesn't have her wedding ring, on.
- 12:52They're starting to look like what our thirst thirst picks. Is that a thing
- 12:56traps thirst traps a little bit, yes, kind of putting herself out there.
- 13:01It was just their two year wedding anniversary a few days ago, and
- 13:03neither of them acknowledged it. But one thing that's really interesting is she's still
- 13:07hanging out with Jennifer Gardner and Ben Affleck kids, her stepkids. So I
- 13:11think one of them was hanging out like a few days ago. There is
- 13:13are they adult children or no? I want to say the one is like,
- 13:18yeah, teenagers for sure, But I don't know. Well, it's
- 13:20just too bad it didn't work out this second time around. Maybe they'll do
- 13:24it again, I don't think so, don't think so. I doubt that.
- 13:26It was another big weekend at the box office. This time. We're
- 13:30not talking about Incredibles for Twisters. The sequel to Twister was in theaters over
- 13:35eighty million dollars. It brought in over the weekend. It was the first,
- 13:39I guess, biggest opening I guess this summer for the live action movie.
- 13:41But I don't even know if I've seen Twister. I know that's crazy
- 13:46because it's a classic. Oh I remember that one who was in it?
- 13:48Was it Helen Hunt? Yes, I cannot think of his name. I
- 13:50can say it. It was Dennis Quaid or is that a different movie?
- 13:54No, I think you're right. No Twister, what was it? Kevin
- 14:00cost No, I'm just gonna name guys. No, Bill Paxton, what
- 14:05there's another guy? Come on, keep looking. I'm looking the whole time
- 14:09Hunt and Bill, Bill Paxton, That's who I was trying to think of.
- 14:11Yes, but he yes, I've never heard of that man, but
- 14:15I heard it was really really good. I didn't even know any hype for
- 14:18this or anything, and then all of a sudden, like last Thursday Friday,
- 14:22it felt like almost everybody on social media was going to check it out.
- 14:24So give it a peek. It sounds like it's a good one.
- 14:28This I'm only bringing up because we were just talking about it last week and
- 14:31your love for the scary movie movie Scary Movie franchise one through three specifically if
- 14:37you know, you know, and it's incredible. They're working on another one
- 14:41and Anna Farius sat down for an interview and she said she had a few
- 14:45non negotiables. She is not saying no to doing another scary it's not anymore.
- 14:50It's not in the works. It's in They don't know who's in it,
- 14:52right, I think they do check out, but it's not her.
- 14:54No, well, she said money would get her to be a part of
- 14:58it. Oh weird, that would be so yeah, the number one thing
- 15:01that would get her to be a part of it. But Regina, Regina
- 15:03Hall, she said that they had so much fun. She said it was
- 15:07one of the best times of her life. She would just sit there.
- 15:09They would make each other laugh all day long. And uh, that's what
- 15:13she. Regina played Brenda, of course, who died in spoilers Scary Movie
- 15:18three was brutally killed by that horrible ring like you have see the movie of
- 15:22the ring. Yes, it was like so they so moved that where the
- 15:24lady would come out of the TV and kill her. I remember some highlights
- 15:28from the Scary Movie series, but it is supposed to come out Scary Movie
- 15:31six sometime in twenty twenty five. Those films just and I probably shouldn't have
- 15:37watched it because I was a young kid when the first one came out.
- 15:39But man, they're so inappropriate but so good. The second one with Tim
- 15:43Curry in it, the Haunted House. And this is just hilarious. The
- 15:46guy with the hand, I mean the hand, Come on, all right,
- 15:50and I'm looking up. It does not look like I don't see any
- 15:52cast. They've done so many sense it's pointless at this point. It's Home
- 15:56Alone, you know, really in the same boat. Really you're going to
- 16:00chalk up like Home Alone and that the scary well the same. They's been
- 16:07the same trajectory as in the first two a little different iconic, and then
- 16:12the third one was iconic. You cannot say the scary movies where icon is
- 16:18defined the generation between that and American Pie like that that was that, there
- 16:22was American Pie. Yes, I'll be on board with us and throwing Austin
- 16:26Powers and then Anchor Man and but then that's it. And then of course
- 16:30Adam Sandler's films trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well,
- 16:36we had breaking news yesterday. President Biden will not seek reelection, he said
- 16:40yesterday on Twitter. Well, it has been my intention. I believe it
- 16:44is the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down
- 16:47and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my
- 16:51term. He did say that I'll speak with the nation sometime this week to
- 16:55give more detail. In a follow up post, he did praise Vice President
- 16:57Kamala Harris and urged Demics to unite behind her as the candidate, giving her
- 17:03his full endorsement. I wonder what finally pushed him over, because you know,
- 17:07as of last week he was adamant that he was still gonna do it,
- 17:08and I was pretty sure he would not step down, and here we
- 17:11are. I wonder who got to him. Yeah, well, I think
- 17:14there was a lot of conversations, not only with some head Democrat Democratic leaders,
- 17:18but I think his family too. They're just kind of like, hey,
- 17:21we're gonna well, of course, yeah, we're gonna want you to
- 17:23maybe not do this. You know. It was one of those things too.
- 17:26Of course we've been watching him as president, but yesterday, just even
- 17:30watching highlights from four years ago to now, just the difference of this,
- 17:33it is pretty obvious you could say the same about us. Probably, oh
- 17:37say that about me last week. I'm just I aged a lot over the
- 17:41week. I wonder who it will be though, because I had heard in
- 17:44this probably unsubstantiated but that they might run it back with Hillary. I thought,
- 17:48oh my what and then I saw Bill Clinton already endorsing Kamala So I'm
- 17:51guessing he's not endorsing somebody other than his wife if she was planning to work.
- 17:55Yeah, there's been a few names being thrown out there. A lot
- 17:56of people this morning kind of chatting and saying, hey, I want to
- 17:59I want to put my name out there. Yeah, yeah, I got
- 18:03I got an all staff email one of our employees. They were like,
- 18:07I'm out, I'm running for marsh. Yeah, I'm pretty interested in running
- 18:10for president in the midst of all of this political stuff going on. Also,
- 18:15the Olympics they already start on Friday. They're going to be in Paris,
- 18:18and we're fighting out now. Lebron James will be the flag bearer for
- 18:22the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Of all the people they went with lbjil lebrom
- 18:27Boy. He is one of our best athletes. I will tell you this,
- 18:32I love Cereal, but I don't know if I can indulge in this.
- 18:34The Kelsey Brothers, they have a serial mix that they created growing up
- 18:38that they loved eating. It was cinnamon toast crunch with Lucky Charms and Reese's
- 18:42Puffs. So now they've created it and they're calling it the Kelsey Mixed Cereal,
- 18:47putting all of them in one box. You don't need that. We
- 18:48don't need that. I get as a kid it's fun to mix things together,
- 18:52like the fountain pop at the fast food restaurants. But it's just not
- 18:56good. You want to know a weird thing. My son has been wanting
- 18:59orange gear and milk. Isn't that just like Canyon Not like He's just like,
- 19:03no, I'm gonna he And I think he thinks he's like a science
- 19:04project trying to put it together, but it is, so I'm like,
- 19:08oh, and he'll drink it. It's just it's I mean, it sounds
- 19:12like a creamsicle to me, or like an orange Julius maybe yeah, maybe.
- 19:15I mean it's not the worst thing. But I remember as a kid
- 19:17too, I'd call them my concoctions, and I'd just like be creating and
- 19:21I wouldn't drink them because I'd be putting my hand soap in there, you
- 19:23know. But I love mixing it up. Yeah, Cinnamon toast crunch to
- 19:27me, was probably the best out of all three of these. You went
- 19:30Reese's Puffs. Yeah, I don't love cinnamon Toa's crunch. Not a big
- 19:33cinnamon guy. I'm falling around on it as an old man, but historically
- 19:37not loved cocoa puffs. Or here's a little hack to take this one home.
- 19:42Frosted flakes already delicious. But an old friend of mine I saw one
- 19:47day he was putting peanut butter on the side of the bowl and just with
- 19:49every bite you take a little bit of spoonful of peanut butter. Really,
- 19:53my god, is it good? Interesting? I can just ease so much
- 19:56of that I see, And I was so like, whether it'd be blueberry
- 20:00morning honey bunches of vote I love, just like regular cheerios with banana in
- 20:04it. What is with you? You talk all the time about you?
- 20:07What was the show you watched? Your favorite show as a child was Designing
- 20:11Women or something? Designing Women? Melrose play a s goolden girl. Were
- 20:15you raised by a village of senior citizens? What happened they took you in
- 20:22as one of their own fun fact about me? I never told you,
- 20:29but yes, that is that's a cool story. That's a cool origin story.
- 20:32You're kind of like Tarzan, but like senior nursing homes, like get
- 20:37a man in the morning, get up on big. Were you happy?
- 20:42Yeah, I know that's a really like big question. Would you say you're
- 20:45happy? Yeah? Overall for sure? What would you say you would be
- 20:48happier if you had mo money? You know, And that's an interesting question
- 20:53because yes, it's easy to say, of course it sounds great, But
- 20:57then you know people who have it and just spending the exact same Just on
- 21:02you know, you might end up in the same financial situation. Who's spending
- 21:04the exact same What do you mean? Meaning if you if you increase your
- 21:10the amount of money you're gonna have, you're probably just spending the exact same
- 21:12So you might be in the exact same financial situation. Just you're referring with
- 21:17a couple more well, with more things right, you're referring to the phenomenon
- 21:19known as lifestyle creep. The more you make, the more you spend,
- 21:22you're still left with little. But I don't know about lifestyle creep. Oh,
- 21:26it's one of the hardest things to fight, you know exactly. You
- 21:30get a raise, it's like, oh, now I can afford a bigger
- 21:32car payment. I'll just get a better cars like, oh wait, now
- 21:34I still have zero dollars, what the heck? But Amanda, A new
- 21:37study was done, and I know this one of your favorite schools, Wharton
- 21:41School, Wharton, Wharton, Wharton, Whart, and they did a study
- 21:48based on finding whether or not money can truly buy happiness? Okay, and
- 21:52you know what they found. Nope, yes it can. Really You've heard
- 21:56it a million times. Money can't buy happiness. And of course the caveat
- 22:00here is like not entirely right, it doesn't make you just completely fulfilled.
- 22:06But no, but financial stress is such a burden on relationships, people,
- 22:11anxiety, all of that. Absolutely, So they found that it makes more
- 22:15of a difference for the like, let's say there's middle class and then wealthy
- 22:21people making hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. The difference it made in that
- 22:26range is way more than it makes for let's say a low income person versus
- 22:30middle class, because there's really not that if you're making seventy five thousand year
- 22:34or you're making thirty five thousand, like, there's not a huge difference where
- 22:37you're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars between the middle and upper class. Gotcha,
- 22:42So they say it can definitely, while it's not the entire picture.
- 22:47You know, money and happiness is just a small part of it. Yeah,
- 22:49you can be super rich and super unhappy. We've seen it a million
- 22:52times. But overall it can make you happier really all right, Well,
- 22:56like you said, so much of your day to day stress is like crunching
- 23:00numbers figuring out how you're gonna pay for stuff. If that like, yeah,
- 23:03you can sell a bad relationships and stressful things happen health wise, but
- 23:07if you got the money part cut out, that's so bad, which is
- 23:11unfortunate. You know, I was really hoping it to go the other way.
- 23:15No, I mean, I just don't like that money is like the
- 23:18bearer of so many things. That's just unfortunately. That's that's the life,
- 23:21Amanda. But just imagine being able to have infinite money or close to it
- 23:25where it's like if you're feeling down because your tooth hurts or because you got
- 23:30dumped, it's like, oh, you know what, I'll just take a
- 23:33trip to Fiji. Oh gosh, we were even gonna go to the same
- 23:37word. Did you say Haiti? Okay? No, not Haiti? I
- 23:42said to Haiti. Oh I heard Haiti, I said, Fiji, I
- 23:45thought you said, Haiti. Why don't we just meet in the middle and
- 23:48take that trip to Haiti we've been talking about in the morning, Big Nay
- 23:52eight point seven. The things people are paying for nowadays is crazy. What
- 23:56don't you pay for? I mean, honestly, well, I can't think
- 23:59of anything. It's kind of wild. But to name your baby, I
- 24:03mean, that's something that you know, idealy you should be able to do
- 24:06for free. But people have you heard about this? People are actually becoming
- 24:10baby named consultants. It's becoming more and more popular. If you think I'm
- 24:14making it up, there was a story done featuring just two of them,
- 24:18two of many people who have turned this into a career. One of them,
- 24:22her name is Denise, and she's charging three hundred and fifty dollars per
- 24:26client. You think that's crazy, Pay three hundred and fifty bucks to have
- 24:30a quote expert name your child. Yeah, that's insane because first of all,
- 24:36you don't I don't know what information that they're gathering, but it's such
- 24:40a personal preference. A lot of times it's within I would say over fifty
- 24:45percent of people. The name that you go with has a meaning that might
- 24:48be a family like name or you know, something like that. Well,
- 24:52she actually says that couples are no longer naming their baby after loved ones.
- 24:56They're looking for unique names. But that aren't you know, strained, you're
- 25:00weird, but something still unique. So they have the couple fill out a
- 25:03questionnaire and basically get an idea of you know, what sort of sounds they
- 25:08want, what names are off limits, how many syllables they're looking after it
- 25:14do they narrow it down? It's like, okay, I'm feeling it.
- 25:17I want you to fill this Outpike. You want your kids name to start
- 25:19with an L and it's only four letters and that's it. I mean,
- 25:25okay, well yeah, I mean there's a ton of names lamp love for
- 25:30example, love lou Lou Louke. Yeah, that's an actual name. Nice,
- 25:37perfect, No, they're charging it to three hundred and fifty bucks a
- 25:40client. She says she's getting roughly fifteen people a month to pay. That
- 25:44comes out to about sixty seven thousand dollars a year just to name. But
- 25:47she quit her job. She was a nurse practitioner, which is a lot
- 25:51of schooling to go, you're basically a doctor, and she said, no,
- 25:53I'm gonna name babies. But think about it, like, how once
- 25:56you've done it, and this is really consultant work in general, like once
- 26:00once you've done it for one person, you kind of just copy paste and
- 26:03you know, probably pretty easy for you. Yeah, I guess for me,
- 26:06I just don't understand the need because of the Internet and just names in
- 26:11general. I know it's not an easy process. Some people really struggle with
- 26:15coming up with baby names, wanting something unique and different. But I don't
- 26:18care for this well, she says, people just really are wanting validation or
- 26:22a gut check on a name that they're leaning towards. So you're really gonna
- 26:26pay three hundred and fifty dollars to a rando, that's a really good idea.
- 26:29I mean, I'm thinking, just in general, if I could pay
- 26:30somebody just to basically follow me around or every time I think I'm making the
- 26:34wrong decision, just call them and they'll be like, no, dude,
- 26:37that's perfect. Yep, you're doing it right, You're killing it.
