- 1:30Speaker 3: Pala group dot com. All right, Matt. Indiana, to repeat,
- 1:38Speaker 3: is the college national champion. Are the Seattle Seahawks to
- 1:42Speaker 3: repeat as the Super Bowl champion? Well, there's a lot
- 1:45Speaker 3: of variables to consider here.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Number one being it's extremely difficult and damn near impossible
- 1:51Speaker 5: to do either. If you, I mean, when was the
- 1:57Speaker 5: last time there was a repeat champion in the NFL?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Chiefs. Chiefs. Chiefs. Georgia did it. Because Chiefs were going
- 2:08Speaker 3: for a three in new orleans when they lost to
- 2:10Speaker 3: the eagles right.
- 2:11Speaker 6: I think or maybe there was one in between yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 3: The chiefs yeah and then i guess that was.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Quite an anomaly 23 and 24.
- 2:22Speaker 3: And then the.
- 2:26Speaker 5: In college george has done it i think they're the
- 2:28Speaker 5: last team to do it but that's in this world
- 2:31Speaker 5: of college athletics and sports that's a lifetime ago And
- 2:34Speaker 5: it might as well be 100 years ago for that matter.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Just for reference, before that, the last time somebody did
- 2:39Speaker 4: it was the Patriots in 03 and 04. So there's
- 2:41Speaker 4: like a 20-year gap between it happening.
- 2:44Speaker 5: Like in college football, the difference in college football from
- 2:47Speaker 5: five years ago to today is probably more of a
- 2:50Speaker 5: difference in the biggest 100 years. So that was a
- 2:54Speaker 5: different time when there was a repeat champion in college.
- 2:56Speaker 5: So it is extremely difficult to do. There's so many
- 3:00Speaker 5: things that have to go right to win a championship.
- 3:03Speaker 5: You have to be good. You have to have the
- 3:05Speaker 5: right makeup. You have to have the right coaches. You
- 3:07Speaker 5: have to get lucky. And luck is taking advantage of opportunities, right?
- 3:14Speaker 5: And certain teams do that. Certain teams don't. You have
- 3:17Speaker 5: to have a call go one way. The ball is misshapen,
- 3:20Speaker 5: so it has to bounce the right way every now
- 3:22Speaker 5: and then. And plus, everybody else is really good. And
- 3:26Speaker 5: now with college football, the rosters are turning over so much.
- 3:29Speaker 5: But one thing that has stayed consistent is the coaching
- 3:32Speaker 5: staff at Indiana, which is.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Different than anything. Those guys have been together at, I think,
- 3:39Speaker 3: four different places. I'm pretty sure those coaches have been
- 3:42Speaker 3: together at four different stops, coordinators and head coach. That
- 3:47Speaker 3: means something. It does mean something.
- 3:50Speaker 5: So if we are trying to just make a huge guess,
- 3:53Speaker 5: let's say who has the best chance, and again, the
- 3:55Speaker 5: chance might be 15%.
- 3:58Speaker 3: To win a championship for Indiana and 15% for Seattle.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Let's just say that because Seattle's also going to be,
- 4:06Speaker 5: Seattle's been overshadowed and how people are because of the Rams,
- 4:11Speaker 5: someone in their own division that are people. And rightfully so, right.
- 4:14Speaker 5: You're one of the best teams. They improve in the secondary. They, they,
- 4:16Speaker 5: they bring the NFL defensive player of the year. Now
- 4:20Speaker 5: the all time sack later, they bring him in. Now
- 4:21Speaker 5: you got, might have Aaron Darnold that comes back. Like rightfully,
- 4:24Speaker 5: people are talking about them. Um, but, just sitting over
- 4:29Speaker 5: there as the reigning Super Bowl champs from that own
- 4:31Speaker 5: division and beating that same Rams team in the NFC
- 4:34Speaker 5: Championship game. But I'm going to say that I believe
- 4:39Speaker 5: Indiana has the better chance between, if we're talking about
- 4:44Speaker 5: who's got the better chance, between the Seahawks and Indiana
- 4:48Speaker 5: to repeat as champions. Just because I do think they
- 4:53Speaker 5: are a little bit underrated, going into this season, and
- 4:58Speaker 5: I get it. Taylor, you made a great point we
- 5:00Speaker 5: were talking about. There's still six. It's not like it's
- 5:02Speaker 5: a huge disrespect. But if you take the Indiana logo
- 5:05Speaker 5: off their helmet and replace it with an A, like
- 5:10Speaker 5: if it's an Alabama on the side of their helmet
- 5:13Speaker 5: on their jersey, then they're ranked number one this year,
- 5:17Speaker 5: even if they replace the quarterback. The quarterback, I always
- 5:20Speaker 5: forget his name.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Josh Hoover.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Josh Hoover. You forgot Fernando Mendoza. No, no, no, no.
- 5:26Speaker 3: He's got Josh.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Uber's got better stats going into Indiana than Fernando Mendoza
- 5:31Speaker 5: did going into Indiana. And I'm not saying that the
- 5:34Speaker 5: end result is going to be even close or similar
- 5:36Speaker 5: to similar to what Fernando Mendoza was able to do,
- 5:39Speaker 5: but like from a preseason ranking, I think it's a
- 5:42Speaker 5: slightly disrespectful that they are fall outside of at least
- 5:45Speaker 5: the top five going in. So for, for that reason,
- 5:49Speaker 5: and just like this list that came out with the
- 5:51Speaker 5: top 100 players in college football, they are tied for,
- 5:54Speaker 5: they got seven. players in the top 100 and they
- 5:57Speaker 5: have no five stars uh and i think that coaching
- 6:00Speaker 5: continuity means a lot at the college level especially with
- 6:04Speaker 5: everything else changing around so much i think continuity and
- 6:08Speaker 5: that's why we're a little bit lower on old miss
- 6:10Speaker 5: this year than others other people are because of how
- 6:15Speaker 5: much change there was uh so I think if we're
- 6:20Speaker 5: in it, no, it's a small chance. It's a low
- 6:22Speaker 5: percentage chance. But if we are saying who has a
- 6:25Speaker 5: better chance of winning, repeating as champion, I would say Indiana.
- 6:28Speaker 6: I think that's a logical choice.
- 6:31Speaker 7: Since Kurt Cignetti has been in the FBS, he was
- 6:34Speaker 7: awesome at Elon and IUP.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I get that.
- 6:37Speaker 6: He's 46-6 in.
- 6:40Speaker 3: The FBS.
- 6:41Speaker 7: That's James Madison and Indiana combined. Neither of them were
- 6:45Speaker 7: winning programs. when he took over and he is 46
- 6:48Speaker 7: and six, I trust Kurt Cignetti.
- 6:50Speaker 6: So I think they got a better opportunity.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:53Speaker 6: And you, you brought up the point that I made
- 6:55Speaker 6: of like, yeah, they're still six.
- 6:56Speaker 7: They're not 21. And then I brought up all the
- 6:58Speaker 7: players they lost. They lost all those players and they're
- 7:01Speaker 7: still six. Think about that. Like they got a lot
- 7:03Speaker 7: of talent coming in as well.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Like I think that's the choice. Seattle lost a good bit.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Like they drafted you Darian price. I think he's great.
- 7:11Speaker 7: I think he was a little bit underrated just because
- 7:13Speaker 7: you had to split a backfield with Jeremiah loved. He
- 7:15Speaker 7: lost Kenneth Walker. That's a Super Bowl MVP. No Tyreek
- 7:18Speaker 7: Willen on your defense anymore. There's some pieces there that
- 7:21Speaker 7: they got to fill in.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Bobo's out for the year. That just happened. Yeah.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Dude, that was such a... I saw that video yesterday.
- 7:27Speaker 3: That's... Hey, Huff in the chat says Cignetti is a fraud.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Who?
- 7:33Speaker 3: I don't know about that. I don't know. How's he fraudulent?
- 7:37Speaker 3: He's won everywhere he's ever been. 46-6 in the last...
- 7:44Speaker 3: Taking over or losing programs? In Indiana, it's lost more
- 7:49Speaker 3: than anybody, literally. In the history of college football. Of
- 7:52Speaker 3: the sport. I don't know, man. It's a great question
- 7:58Speaker 3: because Seattle's, they're running it back for the most part, too, though.
- 8:04Speaker 3: They didn't add a ton. It's kind of their same team.
- 8:09Speaker 3: They have some guys, like you said, Kenneth Walker, that
- 8:11Speaker 3: are no longer on the team, but Zach Charbonnet and
- 8:14Speaker 3: Jadarion Price being in the backfield. They're going to be
- 8:17Speaker 3: good too now. Cervantes is a dog.
- 8:19Speaker 6: He's apparently going to come back quicker than they thought
- 8:22Speaker 6: from that knee injury.
- 8:23Speaker 3: What they do with ACL injuries now, like he got
- 8:25Speaker 3: hurt even later than Mahomes, but like when I saw
- 8:27Speaker 3: Mahomes after an LCL and an ACL, not even have
- 8:31Speaker 3: like a brace on and be Patrick Mahomes in early August,
- 8:35Speaker 3: I was like, that used to be like minimum you're
- 8:39Speaker 3: out for a year.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Think about the Achilles.
- 8:41Speaker 7: Daniel Jones, they believe he's going to start week one
- 8:44Speaker 7: He toured that Achilles week in 10.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers tried to play in the same year that
- 8:47Speaker 3: he toured his.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I mean, he was doing everything he could. He was
- 8:52Speaker 3: going to see every specialist he possibly could.
- 8:54Speaker 5: They were playing the Falcons, I believe, when we were
- 8:58Speaker 5: up there for his. And I think he's like, if
- 9:03Speaker 5: we win this week, I'm going to try to come back.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Which is crazy. Like, no, no, you shouldn't.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Why?
- 9:11Speaker 3: I bet he's still ninja flips out of bed, though.
- 9:13Speaker 3: No doubt. Almost got a ninja getup this morning. She's
- 9:21Speaker 3: feeling better. She's feeling better back here. And then as
- 9:25Speaker 3: soon as you do that, that's when you– So, what's
- 9:28Speaker 3: your answer? What do you think? Seattle over Indiana. I
- 9:32Speaker 3: think Indiana is going to be good. But they lost
- 9:36Speaker 3: some studs. They did. They lost some, like, guys that
- 9:40Speaker 3: had that JMU DNA– Grinders, Aiden Fisher at linebacker.
- 9:46Speaker 6: D'Angelo Pons at corner was a stud.
- 9:50Speaker 3: D'Angelo Pons at dog. I mean, pick six against Oregon
- 9:53Speaker 3: in the playoff. uh black at running back.
- 9:56Speaker 6: I mean roman he lost running back he.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Lost two receivers elijah surratt was a really good player
- 10:04Speaker 3: omar cooper really good player we're talking about first and
- 10:06Speaker 3: third round receiver mb was good at times for sure
- 10:11Speaker 3: riley nowakowski fullback tied in got drafted by the steelers
- 10:15Speaker 3: you know a lot of names my job it's impressive
- 10:23Speaker 3: laundry what do you think.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I think because of what you laid out how it's
- 10:29Speaker 4: college football it's hard to play but it's hard or
- 10:34Speaker 4: it's easier than the NFL and the schedule and everything
- 10:37Speaker 4: and I think that given that the last time that
- 10:41Speaker 4: it happened in college football was only like five six
- 10:43Speaker 4: years ago and the gap between it happening in the
- 10:47Speaker 4: NFL was like 20 years I think I'm going.
- 10:49Speaker 6: To go with Indiana.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I just feel like it's just easier to do it.
- 10:52Speaker 5: And the last time it happened, it was probably maybe
- 10:56Speaker 5: the top two quarterbacks of all time.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah. We've never seen. Fair point.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Fair point. Sam Darnold, you could join that class. Come on,
- 11:05Speaker 3: Sammy boy. You're still young. You're still under 30. Patrick Mahomes.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Sam Darnold.
- 11:11Speaker 4: I have to be honest. I didn't really pay attention
- 11:13Speaker 4: to the Seahawks last season. So to me, last season,
- 11:17Speaker 4: it felt kind of like, How did they get here?
- 11:19Speaker 4: I don't know if that's like the general consensus of
- 11:22Speaker 4: the Seahawks because again, like I, I'm going to this season,
- 11:26Speaker 4: but I don't pay attention to the NFL as much
- 11:28Speaker 4: as I do college football. So I just don't know.
- 11:30Speaker 5: They're so tucked away from a media standpoint. Like you
- 11:32Speaker 5: don't really understand how far Seattle is.
- 11:34Speaker 3: It's so far. It's very far. Far from everything. Everything.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Everybody thinks like, oh, like, They're next to L.A. No,
- 11:42Speaker 3: that is a long flight from L.A. to Seattle. They
- 11:46Speaker 3: were really good all year.
- 11:49Speaker 5: But to your point, no one's talking about them now,
- 11:52Speaker 5: and they didn't really start talking about them until the
- 11:56Speaker 5: end of the year.
- 11:56Speaker 4: So like the playoffs, I feel like.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I mean, they're on hard knocks now, and they won,
- 11:59Speaker 3: so it would be more this year. Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 5: I think the last 15 seasons, I believe, they've only
- 12:07Speaker 5: had one losing season.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Like, they are an epitome of consistency.
- 12:11Speaker 7: And that's multiple head coaches, too. Like, they've been sneakily. Like,
- 12:16Speaker 7: we always talk about the Steelers, right?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Oh, how.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, Steelers, Ravens, Seahawks are in that category of we
- 12:22Speaker 3: might not be great, but we're never going to be bad.
- 12:24Speaker 4: See, and that's the thing. Like, that's how much I
- 12:25Speaker 4: don't pay attention to the Seahawks. I didn't know that
- 12:27Speaker 4: they were that consistent. Like, I've thought that they weren't
- 12:30Speaker 4: that great the past few years. So that shows you
- 12:33Speaker 4: how much.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Yeah, right. Yeah. Mike McDonald, their head coach, is a stud. Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 3: He's cut from the Kirby cloth. Like, he went to Georgia,
- 12:43Speaker 3: coached under there. Like, that's his foundation. He's got a
- 12:47Speaker 3: lot of Kirby in him.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I love Kirby's fur.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Mike McDonald was also a really good singer.
- 12:50Speaker 7: Geno threw for 4,300 yards in that offense.
- 12:55Speaker 4: A little yacht rock?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Y'all taught me about yacht rock.
- 13:01Speaker 3: It's the best. What are you looking at?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Mike McDonald on the hot coaches list.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Mike McDonald. What? The singer? The guy that just covers Motown? No,
- 13:16Speaker 3: the guy that was with the Doobie Brothers, bro.
- 13:19Speaker 8: Duh.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's like most known for covering Motown. I'm
- 13:22Speaker 3: going to burn this place down. I'm a 40-year-old virgin.
- 13:27Speaker 5: If you don't turn off this Mike McDonald. All right,
- 13:34Speaker 5: so I'm the only person that's going to Seattle here.
- 13:38Speaker 5: They got the Rams, bud. People are talking about them.
- 13:42Speaker 6: And the Cardinals.
- 13:44Speaker 5: They got the Cardinals, too. You ever seen Carson Beck play?
- 13:47Speaker 5: I really do have the 49ers, though. 49ers won 12 games.
- 13:49Speaker 3: They ain't going to be able to fill the team.
- 13:51Speaker 3: They don't ever. They're not ever able to fill a team.
- 13:55Speaker 3: And Shanahan, who's a wizard, just figures it out.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Were you able to go to Dolphins training camp?
- 14:01Speaker 3: We caught the Dolphins, but at the Commander's camp.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Me and Matt had a discussion off air while you
- 14:07Speaker 7: were gone. I don't think the Cardinals are going to
- 14:10Speaker 7: be the worst team in the NFL. I think it's
- 14:11Speaker 7: the Dolphins.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I actually think the Cardinals. Do you? Because the Dolphins
- 14:19Speaker 3: have really good young players. They're just super young. Like,
- 14:23Speaker 3: they've got football players. And what I mean by that
- 14:26Speaker 3: is guys that got drafted later, but Jacob Rodriguez, Michael Taft,
- 14:31Speaker 3: Kyle Lewis... They did a really nice job of just
- 14:35Speaker 3: bringing in some dudes that love football. So they'll get
- 14:38Speaker 3: great effort all season long. They're both going to be bad.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Let's make no mistake about it. Caleb Douglas looks really
- 14:45Speaker 3: good at receiver from Texas Tech. They're both going to
- 14:49Speaker 3: be bad. The Cardinals could be historically bad, though.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Do they play each other?
- 14:53Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 14:56Speaker 4: Speaking of awful teams in the NFL.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Raiders?
- 14:59Speaker 4: Actually, I was going to go Falcons.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Tagovailoa's play made it impossible to name him starter. Impossible
- 15:07Speaker 4: is a strong word.
- 15:09Speaker 3: That's a tough look.
- 15:10Speaker 4: That is a tough, tough look.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Tua Tagovailoa kind of struggled so much that Michael Panix
- 15:18Speaker 3: might be the starter game one and not have taken
- 15:21Speaker 3: a rep in the preseason and just got cleared three
- 15:24Speaker 3: days ago to go with the actual team period and
- 15:27Speaker 3: not just seven.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Right, like he's not even fully healthy.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Guy Tua was so good when we– I mean, genuine,
- 15:34Speaker 3: great answers.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Impossible is a strong word.
- 15:39Speaker 3: It was impossible to not like him when I interviewed him.
- 15:41Speaker 3: He was incredible. But the first play of that practice
- 15:44Speaker 3: that day, he threw a pick.
- 15:46Speaker 5: Let me say this about this whole NFL season, looking
- 15:50Speaker 5: forward to it. And I don't– and I need you
- 15:53Speaker 5: to contain yourself.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I need you to stay in that chair.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Oh.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Look out for the Chargers this year. Dang! He's throwing
- 16:04Speaker 3: you a bone!
- 16:05Speaker 5: Mike McDaniel made Tua look pretty darn good. Got him
- 16:12Speaker 5: a payday and made him look very good at times
- 16:16Speaker 5: in that career. He's with the Chargers now. Don't forget
- 16:22Speaker 5: that Mike McDaniel can coach some offensive football. With that
- 16:27Speaker 5: type of weapon at on the right arm sitting on
- 16:31Speaker 5: Justin Herbert's body.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Mike McDaniel might have himself a year.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Between him and Jim Harbaugh both being there, I actually think.
- 16:41Speaker 3: And, like, to that point, Tua had some great seasons. Right.
- 16:45Speaker 3: At least statistically.
- 16:46Speaker 7: People forget that because it fell off towards the end.
- 16:49Speaker 7: But I saw something the other day about Ladd McConkie and, like,
- 16:52Speaker 7: how good he's been in motion in his career, like,
- 16:55Speaker 7: getting open. And the amount of motions that McDaniel runs, like,
- 16:59Speaker 7: lad could have a good year i.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Was like look out that's who i'm dropping look out
- 17:03Speaker 5: for the west coast.
- 17:04Speaker 6: I think amari and hampton's really good.
- 17:06Speaker 3: As as football fans and i know we all have
- 17:09Speaker 3: our own teams but as football fans the afc west
- 17:13Speaker 3: plays the nfc west this year yeah so broncos chiefs
- 17:18Speaker 3: chargers 49ers rams seahawks all those teams play yeah.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I mean that's the two best divisions that's like That's
- 17:24Speaker 5: eight Sunday nights right there.
- 17:26Speaker 3: It really is. And you know who I feel really
- 17:29Speaker 3: bad for? Who? The Cardinals and Raiders. They have to
- 17:34Speaker 3: play all of those teams. That's what we should do.
- 17:35Speaker 5: We should say, how many division wins will the Raiders
- 17:41Speaker 5: and the Cardinals have combined when they play between their
- 17:44Speaker 5: division and playing the.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Counterpart? It could be none. It could be none. Except, well,
- 17:50Speaker 3: they had to beat each other. But outside of that,
- 17:52Speaker 3: you're saying?
- 17:52Speaker 4: So, 0-7.
- 17:54Speaker 3: This is what we're thinking on the West teams. Hey,
- 17:56Speaker 3: I've got a little fun exercise.
- 18:00Speaker 2: What?
- 18:00Speaker 3: All right. So yesterday we were talking about bold picks,
- 18:04Speaker 3: and I picked the Patriots who finished last in their division,
- 18:07Speaker 3: and they won it, and they went to the Super Bowl.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Let's go around the NFL. Okay. We each pick one
- 18:13Speaker 3: team that finished last in their division that can finish first.
- 18:18Speaker 3: And not like, yeah, they could. Well, anyway, they could.
- 18:20Speaker 3: but you actually feel like they are going to finish first.
- 18:23Speaker 3: It happens every year. It's going to happen this year,
- 18:25Speaker 3: and we'll tell you which team when we come back
- 18:27Speaker 3: here on OTV. Off the bench. All right, go to pelicanroof.com, pelicanroof.com,
- 18:32Speaker 3: the website for Pelican roofing in Baton Rouge in Lafayette.

- 18:39Speaker 3: doing there, Matt? Is that a roof? That was a roof.

- 18:48Speaker 3: we're talking to you. Remember, you get a consultation set up,

- 19:56Speaker 9: Maybe sometimes we got it wrong, but it's all right.

- 20:56Speaker 3: let's take a look at the NFL. Let's take a
- 20:59Speaker 3: look at every team that finished last in their division
- 21:03Speaker 3: just a year ago, because in the NFL, it's the
- 21:06Speaker 3: thing that I love the most about it. There's parody, there's,
- 21:09Speaker 3: You can be the team that finishes last, and all
- 21:11Speaker 3: of a sudden, here you go. You can rise to
- 21:13Speaker 3: the top. Think about how excited people were to see
- 21:16Speaker 3: Indiana do it in college football. What happens all the
- 21:18Speaker 3: time in the NFL? So a little quick refresher on
- 21:22Speaker 3: the teams that finished last a year ago. In the
- 21:25Speaker 3: AFC East, it was the New York Jets. In the
- 21:28Speaker 3: AFC North, it was the Cleveland Browns. In the AFC South,
- 21:31Speaker 3: it was the Tennessee Titans. In the AFC West, it
- 21:34Speaker 3: was the Las Vegas Raiders. Let's go to the NFC.
- 21:38Speaker 3: In the East, it was the New York Giants. In
- 21:40Speaker 3: the NFC North, it was the Detroit Lions. In the
- 21:42Speaker 3: NFC South, it was the New Orleans Saints. And in
- 21:45Speaker 3: the NFC West, it was the Arizona Cardinals. So, with
- 21:48Speaker 3: those teams now in mind, the team that finished in
- 21:51Speaker 3: last place, Matthew Clayton Flynn, that you think has the
- 21:56Speaker 3: best chance to not only be better, but to win
- 21:59Speaker 3: their division. To me, this is a two-team race. I
- 22:03Speaker 3: got two as well.
- 22:03Speaker 5: Between the Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints. Now,
- 22:06Speaker 5: the question was posed.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Bing, bing, bing.
- 22:08Speaker 5: That who has the best chance of winning their division.
- 22:11Speaker 5: It wasn't who's going to be the best team. The
- 22:14Speaker 5: Detroit Lions by far will be the best team from
- 22:16Speaker 5: all the teams that finished last in their division. However,
- 22:19Speaker 5: that division is stacked.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Every team had a winning record a year ago.
- 22:23Speaker 5: The Bears won it last year at 11-6. Everybody else
- 22:26Speaker 5: was 9-8 and then the Packers were 9-7-1. Now you
- 22:31Speaker 5: take a look at the NFC South, the Saints are
- 22:32Speaker 5: not going to be near as good as the Lions
- 22:35Speaker 5: from a football perspective, but They probably have a better
- 22:40Speaker 5: chance of winning their division just because the division is, well,
- 22:45Speaker 5: the most poo in the whole NFL. Last year, the
- 22:48Speaker 5: Carolina Panthers won it with an 8-9 record. You had
- 22:51Speaker 5: three teams in the division last year with an 8-9 record.
- 22:54Speaker 5: The Saints only finished two back, 6-11. I think they
- 22:57Speaker 5: can improve that. I don't think the division's going to
- 23:00Speaker 5: be any better this year unless Blake, not Blake Baker,
- 23:04Speaker 5: Baker Mayfield.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Classic Baker. Classic mistake. Classic Bakers. Les Baker Mayfield takes
- 23:09Speaker 3: this huge chip.
- 23:11Speaker 5: On his shoulder from this whole contract situation and just
- 23:14Speaker 5: has an incredible season, which is possible with that young man.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Oh, for sure.
- 23:18Speaker 5: I called him young man. That means I'm old. He
- 23:22Speaker 5: still thinks he can beat me in a race, which
- 23:24Speaker 5: is just not factual. I think there is a 50-50%
- 23:28Speaker 5: chance that the Saints win this division. I think there's
- 23:31Speaker 5: a 33% chance that the Lions win their division.
- 23:34Speaker 3: So you're saying Lions better team. Saints better chances.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Yes.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Okay. I like that. All right. Alondra, are you ready
- 23:41Speaker 3: to give a team? We're only supposed to give one.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Flynn gave two.
- 23:45Speaker 4: I think that we are all kind of on the
- 23:47Speaker 4: same page where the Lions, I think, probably have the
- 23:51Speaker 4: better chance. And the Saints, because their division is so
- 23:55Speaker 4: bad and we don't know.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I agree.
- 23:58Speaker 3: It's 50-50.
- 23:59Speaker 4: It's either going to be the Buccaneers or it's going
- 24:00Speaker 4: to be the Saints.
- 24:02Speaker 3: I feel that as we sit here on– August the 27th.
- 24:05Speaker 4: So I want to give y'all maybe something a little different.
- 24:10Speaker 4: And maybe it might be a hot take.
- 24:11Speaker 3: I got a different too. I like it. Let's go.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I'm scared to say it.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Come on. No. I might be right there with you.
- 24:17Speaker 4: The Giants?
- 24:18Speaker 3: The Giants! That makes sense.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:22Speaker 4: So the Giants, I feel like, will probably have a
- 24:24Speaker 4: way better season than they did last season. They only
- 24:26Speaker 4: had four wins.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yep.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Four and 13. They get John Harbaugh, who Matt thinks
- 24:31Speaker 4: is overrated.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Super Bowl winning head coach.
- 24:33Speaker 4: But I think he's a good coach, so we'll see.
- 24:35Speaker 4: It is new, so we'll see if they can adapt
- 24:38Speaker 4: to it. But with Jackson Dart and Cam Scadaboo, I
- 24:42Speaker 4: feel like the Giants have a chance. I don't know
- 24:44Speaker 4: what the Eagles are going to look like. The Cowboys
- 24:46Speaker 4: are always hyped up going into the season, and then
- 24:48Speaker 4: they do Cowboys things.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Offense is great. Defense, probably a question mark.
- 24:52Speaker 4: And then the Commanders, I mean, obviously we want them
- 24:54Speaker 4: to be good because of Jaden Daniels. But, I mean,
- 25:00Speaker 4: that organization, I feel like, has been kind of a
- 25:01Speaker 4: bit of a mess lately. The last couple of years,
- 25:05Speaker 4: they gave Terry that contract, which I feel like they
- 25:09Speaker 4: should have, but then Terry's hurt majority of the season
- 25:11Speaker 4: last season. Debo, where'd Debo go?
- 25:15Speaker 3: 49ers, back to the 49ers.
- 25:17Speaker 4: So again, I think that the Giants is one that
- 25:20Speaker 4: I would like to enter into the conversation here.
- 25:22Speaker 3: We're on the same wavelength, and I can appreciate the
- 25:25Speaker 3: Giants' take there because to me, it is the Lions
- 25:28Speaker 3: and Saints. Those are the two obvious. But to give
- 25:30Speaker 3: you something different, I would have gone the Giants as
- 25:32Speaker 3: well I think when you look at Malik Nabors getting
- 25:36Speaker 3: back healthy, you draft Malachi Fields, and unfortunately they've had
- 25:42Speaker 3: some injuries in that receiver room, and they've had some
- 25:44Speaker 3: that are going to be out for the year. I
- 25:47Speaker 3: think he's going to be. I think Calvin Austin was
- 25:49Speaker 3: named yesterday. He's going to be out for the year.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I was looking forward to seeing what he looked like
- 25:53Speaker 3: on that team Because I think he's a little jack-of-all-trades
- 25:57Speaker 3: type guy. But you get Darius Slayton. You've got Odell Beckham,
- 26:01Speaker 3: depending on how that all plays out with all the
- 26:03Speaker 3: veteran receivers that they sign. But you get Isaiah Likely
- 26:06Speaker 3: from Baltimore.
- 26:07Speaker 6: Who I think is a stud.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I do, too. You get Patrick Ricard from Baltimore. He's
- 26:11Speaker 3: one of the best fullbacks in the NFL. You pair
- 26:14Speaker 3: that with Jackson Dart. You're number two. Cam Scadaboo. You've
- 26:18Speaker 3: got an offensive line. Francis Mauinoa at right guard. You
- 26:20Speaker 3: drafted him in the first round. He is a mauler.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I like all of that on offense. And then defensively,
- 26:26Speaker 3: you have Arvel Reese, Brian Burns, Thibodeau, and you have
- 26:32Speaker 3: Abdul Carter.
- 26:33Speaker 6: Think about the versatility.
- 26:34Speaker 3: You've got to come up with some kind of a
- 26:36Speaker 3: package that scares offenses. And if you don't, by God,
- 26:41Speaker 3: that is on you. That is on Denard Wilson, the
- 26:45Speaker 3: defensive coordinator, because you've got elite talent.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Do they do a lot of the same things? Sure.
- 26:54Speaker 3: But you got to get them on the field at
- 26:55Speaker 3: the same time, some way, somehow, and you got to
- 26:57Speaker 3: come up with something.
- 26:58Speaker 6: I saw an interview with them the other day.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Those four guys, it was talking about, like, they made
- 27:03Speaker 7: them guess, hey, who between y'all is going to have
- 27:04Speaker 7: the most sacks? And Arvel Reese raises his hand, and
- 27:07Speaker 7: the other three turn around to him. They're like, dude,
- 27:09Speaker 7: you're playing inside back or back up. You can have
- 27:11Speaker 7: the picks and stuff. You're not playing.
- 27:13Speaker 6: So there's a plan to get all four of them
- 27:15Speaker 6: on the field at the same time. Love that pick.
- 27:18Speaker 7: Malik Neighbors is, like, trending to be– Full go week one.
- 27:23Speaker 7: A lot of people thought it was, I mean, a
- 27:24Speaker 7: couple weeks ago they said week five or six of
- 27:26Speaker 7: the season. Now it looks like he's going to be
- 27:28Speaker 7: ready for the opener. Remember, him and Jackson Dart barely
- 27:31Speaker 7: played together last year. That's something we still haven't seen.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Scataboo's healthy. Tyron Tracy's a really good back as well,
- 27:38Speaker 7: who's behind Scataboo. They got some good talent, some young
- 27:41Speaker 7: talent on the team. The division, I think the division
- 27:46Speaker 7: might be.
- 27:47Speaker 3: The offensive line? Tyron Tracy. Tyron Tracy. Oh, he threw
- 27:50Speaker 3: a no-hitter. Jay Ward demolished Jackson Dart. Yeah. You can't
- 27:55Speaker 3: be throwing no-hitters.
- 27:57Speaker 7: I think the division's weaker than it has been the
- 28:01Speaker 7: past couple years just because I don't know what the
- 28:03Speaker 7: Eagles are going to be. Dallas supposedly cleaned up their defense.
- 28:08Speaker 7: They did a good job signing guys, but you still
- 28:10Speaker 7: have to put those pieces together. We'll see what it
- 28:12Speaker 7: looks like. It's almost like they're one edge rusher away.
- 28:22Speaker 7: Only they can get a good one. I'm telling you, Matt.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Only they can get one.
- 28:28Speaker 6: And put them over the top.
- 28:29Speaker 3: God, if I was the Bears, I'd be like, you
- 28:31Speaker 3: want to give one of those guys to us? We'll
- 28:33Speaker 3: take one of them.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Cowboys could really use somebody like Michael Parsons.
- 28:39Speaker 7: If they can get them. And then they're like, guys,
- 28:40Speaker 7: don't worry. We got Rashawn Gary in return from Green Bay.
- 28:43Speaker 7: I'm like, so you got the worst of the two players.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Like, Gary's fine.
- 28:46Speaker 7: Yep.
- 28:52Speaker 3: But to bring all this back, Saints are going to
- 28:55Speaker 3: win the division. Yeah, they are.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Am I up?
- 29:00Speaker 3: Yeah, you're up.
- 29:00Speaker 7: All right, I'll go real quick. You don't have to
- 29:02Speaker 7: go quick. I like to go a little bit different.
- 29:06Speaker 6: You scored Tay-Tay.
- 29:07Speaker 7: I'm glad she did go a little bit different because
- 29:11Speaker 7: I didn't think we'd get here. I'll go the Lions,
- 29:13Speaker 7: and I get it. It's a chalk answer, but I
- 29:15Speaker 7: just wanted to talk about them because nobody's picked them yet.
- 29:17Speaker 7: I think they're going to win the division. Frank Ragnow retired, what,
- 29:22Speaker 7: three weeks before the season last year? When you lose
- 29:24Speaker 7: your starting center, that is big. They broke in two
- 29:27Speaker 7: brand-new coordinators, which is why they got a little bit
- 29:29Speaker 7: better as the.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Season went along.
- 29:31Speaker 3: That's tough.
- 29:33Speaker 7: But talent-wise, they return a lot of guys. Sam Laporta
- 29:35Speaker 7: is supposed to be fully healthy. He was banged up
- 29:37Speaker 7: a year ago. You lose David Montgomery. that's a blow but.
- 29:41Speaker 3: One it is a big blow gibbs is one of.
- 29:43Speaker 7: The best backs in the nfl and you bring up
- 29:45Speaker 7: a checo who could still be a solid number two
- 29:48Speaker 7: piece for a guy like a jameer gibbs but i
- 29:50Speaker 7: look at their schedule so they got the saints week
- 29:53Speaker 7: one at home we talked about how tough it is
- 29:55Speaker 7: for the saints first two weeks with the the uh
- 29:58Speaker 7: Lions and Ravens back-to-back. Then you have the Bills. After that, Jets, Panthers, Cardinals.
- 30:06Speaker 7: You should win all three of those games. Then you
- 30:08Speaker 7: got a tough game against the Packers. No big deal
- 30:10Speaker 7: after that. Vikings, Dolphins. There is one three-game stretch their
- 30:15Speaker 7: entire season where I'm like, oh, they could lose those three.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Buccaneers, Bears, and Patriots, 10, 11, 12.
- 30:23Speaker 7: Outside of that, after that three-game stretch, you finish with
- 30:26Speaker 7: the Falcons, Titans, Vikings, And then you got Bears, Giants,
- 30:31Speaker 7: Packers to finish the game.
- 30:32Speaker 6: I mean, the season, that's a little tough.
- 30:33Speaker 7: But their schedule is broken up to where you just
- 30:38Speaker 7: win the games you're supposed to. You're sitting at pretty
- 30:41Speaker 7: much 10 wins already. I love their schedule.
- 30:48Speaker 3: I love everything you said about them, and I agree.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Dan Campbell walks into a room. I'm like, Coach, where
- 30:52Speaker 3: are we fighting? Who is it? You tell me and
- 30:54Speaker 3: point me in the direction more than any coach I've
- 30:56Speaker 3: ever been around. David Montgomery not being on the team
- 31:00Speaker 3: should scare Lions fans. That's a big one. Pacheco's a
- 31:02Speaker 3: good player. He runs with his hair on fire, all
- 31:04Speaker 3: those type of things. He runs hard. He's not David Montgomery.
- 31:07Speaker 3: He doesn't pass protect as well, and he doesn't catch
- 31:09Speaker 3: the football as well. David Montgomery, who's going to be
- 31:12Speaker 3: the lead back for the Houston Texans, I think he's
- 31:15Speaker 3: going to make them much better, and the Lions aren't
- 31:18Speaker 3: going to be as good without David Montgomery. He is
- 31:21Speaker 3: a dude. His vision is incredible. He does so many
- 31:24Speaker 3: things well. And he gets a chance now to be
- 31:26Speaker 3: the 1A and not the 1B, and I think he's
- 31:28Speaker 3: going to thrive because of it. I was hoping the
- 31:31Speaker 3: Lions would draft a young running back in the third,
- 31:34Speaker 3: fourth round to be able to pair that with the
- 31:37Speaker 3: other two backs they have. Jameer Gibbs can do everything,
- 31:41Speaker 3: but he also has always been a part of a
- 31:42Speaker 3: running back by committee, kind of going back to our
- 31:44Speaker 3: LSU conversation. It doesn't mean you can't do it, but
- 31:47Speaker 3: it means you're better because of it, and I think
- 31:49Speaker 3: that could be something to watch for the Detroit Lions.
- 31:53Speaker 3: All right. Look at us. Full NFL segment. Who are we?
- 31:59Speaker 4: We're OTB. We're the Wolfpack.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I'll tell you who we are. We're running late for munchies.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Oh, snap.
- 32:05Speaker 8: I know. I know.
- 32:06Speaker 3: We're good. Hey, chill out over there. We were having
- 32:09Speaker 3: a moment. You ruined it. That was good. Munchies when
- 32:11Speaker 3: we come back here. Sports. Off the bench. All right,

- 33:26Speaker 1: off the bench with hester and flynn baton rouge's go-to
- 33:30Speaker 1: for all things louisiana sports i.
- 33:34Speaker 10: Want to hold the hand inside you All right, welcome
- 33:54Speaker 10: back in OTB.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Let's get to a little munchies with our guy, Chef
- 33:58Speaker 3: Michael Johnson.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Get ready to tantalize your taste buds and leave this
- 34:03Speaker 1: segment hungry. This is Munchies with Executive Chef Michael Johnson.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Chef, how we doing? How we living, brother?
- 34:12Speaker 8: And I'm good. You know, listening to a little Magic
- 34:14Speaker 8: Star reminds me of my son, who's 16, has been
- 34:18Speaker 8: running the Bluetooth in my truck the last few days,
- 34:22Speaker 8: and he's listening to Nirvana and Soundgarden.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 34:27Speaker 8: Yeah, it makes me proud.
- 34:29Speaker 3: It's those Seattle days that you had, right? Big influence.
- 34:34Speaker 8: Yeah, well, he went to a Pearl Jam concert with me,
- 34:36Speaker 8: so not a lot of 16-year-olds get to say that much.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Oh, now you're talking Flynn's language with the girl. Yeah,
- 34:43Speaker 3: we're talking, Chef. Only the good stuff.
- 34:46Speaker 8: You know, I had a 14-year-old girl moment with Eddie
- 34:50Speaker 8: Vedder because I was on the field and my executive
- 34:53Speaker 8: sous chef and I, Mateo, were walking across the field
- 34:57Speaker 8: in our getup and cut across a couple of people
- 34:59Speaker 8: and almost ran smack over the top of Eddie Vedder
- 35:02Speaker 8: and his wife. And I was... you know, like, Oh
- 35:06Speaker 8: my God, Eddie, I'm so sorry. You know, like the,
- 35:11Speaker 8: the octave went up and it was, uh, an embarrassing moment,
- 35:14Speaker 8: but it happened nonetheless.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I love it. All right. Hashtag munchies. Now that the
- 35:20Speaker 3: season is almost upon us, how far in advance do
- 35:24Speaker 3: you plan the menu for the week?
- 35:27Speaker 8: Uh, so we're eight weeks out right now.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Whoa.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:31Speaker 8: Um, it just allows us. Yeah. Eight weeks. So, One,
- 35:36Speaker 8: the way we purchase stuff, it allows us to give
- 35:40Speaker 8: our vendors a heads up on how much we expect
- 35:43Speaker 8: to consume. And we change that as we move. So
- 35:46Speaker 8: we will change things out to three weeks. Anything beyond
- 35:50Speaker 8: three weeks, we just keep it still unless there's a
- 35:55Speaker 8: specific concern. But we will write them eight weeks out
- 35:58Speaker 8: and keep it eight weeks out and then have meetings
- 36:01Speaker 8: constantly about the next three weeks, the next three weeks.
- 36:04Speaker 8: because that allows us to forecast our vendors so that
- 36:07Speaker 8: we know that we have enough product for our purpose.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Nice.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Chef, have you ever had to cut a player off
- 36:14Speaker 5: from a certain dish? Like, you get the nice steaks
- 36:16Speaker 5: or the lobster tails. You're like, hey, you've had enough
- 36:19Speaker 5: of this. Save some for the rest of the guys.
- 36:22Speaker 8: Well, we've asked them, you know, come back before, because
- 36:24Speaker 8: we've had them, you know, like where they loaded four
- 36:27Speaker 8: or five on a plate, and we're like, hey, you know,
- 36:28Speaker 8: is it okay if you take two and come get two,
- 36:31Speaker 8: just in case? You don't eat those two. We don't
- 36:34Speaker 8: want them to get away. Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 3: That's fair. How much does it change, Chef, from training
- 36:41Speaker 3: camp mode to regular season mode? Because I just don't
- 36:45Speaker 3: know that people realize sometimes you can lose like 7
- 36:48Speaker 3: to 11 pounds per training camp practice just because you're
- 36:51Speaker 3: out there all day in the heat running around. It's
- 36:55Speaker 3: not exactly the same in season mode.
- 36:57Speaker 8: No. And for us, we don't like to knee-jerk. We
- 37:03Speaker 8: like to steer the ship small, so to speak. And
- 37:06Speaker 8: so the menus, by and large, changed a little bit
- 37:10Speaker 8: with consideration to all the other athletes coming in. But
- 37:14Speaker 8: for productivity and production for us, it's almost predictable because
- 37:20Speaker 8: the meals are mandatory for football. So we know when
- 37:23Speaker 8: they're going to be there. We know how many of
- 37:25Speaker 8: them are going to be there. It's really less impactful
- 37:28Speaker 8: as football at that point as it is everybody else
- 37:31Speaker 8: who has the option of whether they are or are
- 37:34Speaker 8: not going to come in. And so we have to
- 37:36Speaker 8: keep our eyes on activities through all sports, who's traveling,
- 37:39Speaker 8: who's competing, and have to have relationships with all those
- 37:42Speaker 8: directors of ops to know what's going on with them.
- 37:47Speaker 8: To some degree, our lives have eased, though, because even
- 37:49Speaker 8: though we're feeding more people we're not moving the meals
- 37:52Speaker 8: around as much. So we know, you know, breakfast is
- 37:55Speaker 8: six 30 to 10 o'clock. We know that a lunch
- 37:58Speaker 8: is 11 to two. So, you know, in that it
- 38:01Speaker 8: makes our lives significantly easier, but, um, it, it, I mean, we're,
- 38:06Speaker 8: we've gone from 165, 195 to 350 for lunch, you know, and,
- 38:12Speaker 8: and beyond that for dinner. So it's, um, it's just a, a,
- 38:17Speaker 8: a longer and more intense, not, not more intense, but
- 38:20Speaker 8: a longer, uh, Instead of it being super fast and intense,
- 38:23Speaker 8: it's prolonged, if that makes sense.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Doing the Lord's work over there for sure. Hashtag munchies, Chef.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Best recipe for speckled trout fillets.
- 38:39Speaker 8: I'm just kind of simple in the fact that I
- 38:40Speaker 8: like to do a beer batter. I don't necessarily prefer
- 38:45Speaker 8: the dry breading when I'm frying it. dish as a
- 38:49Speaker 8: whole to be honest with you i like light i
- 38:52Speaker 8: like light flaky kind of uh uh you know my
- 38:57Speaker 8: grandpa used to take me to long john silvers when
- 39:00Speaker 8: i was a kid so i'm i'm an idiot for
- 39:04Speaker 8: that that light fluffy you know like cakey breading so
- 39:08Speaker 8: for me i'm going that direction is that like a
- 39:10Speaker 8: beer batter like the the lighter one is that a
- 39:12Speaker 8: beer yeah so It doesn't have to be beer. A
- 39:16Speaker 8: lot of times they'll just put like sprinkling water or
- 39:18Speaker 8: sparkling water or something in there to make it fluffy.
- 39:21Speaker 8: You keep it really cold, the batter, so that it
- 39:24Speaker 8: holds the air inside of the batter versus allowing it
- 39:28Speaker 8: to to upward escape. Um, so you need to keep
- 39:31Speaker 8: it on ice real nice and thick. Um, and you
- 39:35Speaker 8: don't want to beat the, um, the flour entirely smooth.
- 39:41Speaker 8: You know, like there's, you want to keep some of
- 39:43Speaker 8: those pockets and that, that forms, some of those little
- 39:45Speaker 8: bread uh bread balls or dough you know like the
- 39:48Speaker 8: doughy yeah.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Yeah hashtag munchies what's the best protein for gut health
- 39:55Speaker 3: i almost guess like eating protein and not feeling like
- 39:58Speaker 3: trash maybe or full or bloated yeah well.
- 40:01Speaker 8: I mean it's it's it depends on the human being
- 40:03Speaker 8: one that's first and foremost and gut health you know
- 40:07Speaker 8: i there's there's a lot that goes into that i
- 40:10Speaker 8: you know like probiotics and prebiotics are are something you
- 40:13Speaker 8: know if you're Eat sauerkraut and pickles and stuff like that.
- 40:17Speaker 8: Fermented foods are super healthy for gut health. Protein-wise, you know,
- 40:22Speaker 8: what happens in the gut is kind of prolonged, slowed
- 40:25Speaker 8: down when you put a lot of fat into it, right?
- 40:27Speaker 8: And so the fattier the food is that you're putting
- 40:30Speaker 8: into your gut, the slower the process is as a whole,
- 40:33Speaker 8: regardless of, you know, what your gut health looks like,
- 40:36Speaker 8: I think. And so if you're super concerned about it,
- 40:40Speaker 8: leaner meats, by and large, are going to benefit that. Um, and,
- 40:45Speaker 8: and I think whole foods are always better than something
- 40:48Speaker 8: that comes out of a can or, or, um, highly processed, right?
- 40:52Speaker 8: So if you're, you're looking at whole meats, you're looking
- 40:55Speaker 8: at lean meats, but it also needs to be paired with, um,
- 40:59Speaker 8: you know, like, I think that's why they have sauerkraut
- 41:03Speaker 8: and hot dogs. That's why you have pickles and burgers,
- 41:05Speaker 8: you know, like it, it, it, uh, it, it lends
- 41:08Speaker 8: to the digestive aid.
- 41:09Speaker 3: All right, chef. We appreciate you. We love you. We
- 41:16Speaker 3: thank you. We're glad you're at a training camp. We're
- 41:18Speaker 3: glad you're out of the fire a little bit, even
- 41:20Speaker 3: though eight weeks of preparation makes me sweaty palm thinking
- 41:24Speaker 3: about that. But you've got it down pat, Chef, and
- 41:26Speaker 3: we appreciate you.
- 41:27Speaker 8: Thanks, guys. Y'all take care.
- 41:29Speaker 3: All right, there is Chef Michael Johnson, the executive chef

- 44:01Speaker 3: love black, but I love roulette. I love, I love numbers. Yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I love like being with somebody and being like, what
- 44:08Speaker 3: was your number in high school? Or Hey, what's your, what,
- 44:11Speaker 3: you know, what's your son's number in baseball? Or Hey,
- 44:13Speaker 3: what was your number? Yeah. I love that. And we're
- 44:15Speaker 3: all like, you know, you're having a couple of cocktails
- 44:17Speaker 3: and you're like, put five on it. I hit black
- 44:21Speaker 3: 17 in a London casino with, PR 17 because he yelled, hey,
- 44:28Speaker 3: put 15 on block 17. Did it.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Hit.
- 44:32Speaker 8: Boom.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Let's go. I had it before McAfee stole my story
- 44:35Speaker 3: with Peyton Manning in 18. I like craps.
- 44:43Speaker 4: Is that the one with the dice?
- 44:44Speaker 3: That's the dice. Okay.
- 44:45Speaker 4: I do like that one when people are all gathered
- 44:47Speaker 4: together and.
- 44:48Speaker 6: They're like, blow on it.
- 44:50Speaker 5: It's an exceptional game as a group.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Now, it can go sideways real fast. especially if you're
- 44:56Speaker 5: sprinkling the numbers a little bit.
- 44:58Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:58Speaker 5: I like to sprinkle the numbers, play the odds. You
- 45:00Speaker 5: get a couple of guys, a couple of idiots that
- 45:02Speaker 5: come in and roll sevens real quick.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Ruin it for everybody.
- 45:05Speaker 3: It'll ruin the night real fast. Yeah.
- 45:07Speaker 5: But there's nothing like the vibes of being out with
- 45:12Speaker 5: the fellas.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:14Speaker 3: And the table getting hot. And everybody's winning. Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Before we get to the next question, can I tell
- 45:20Speaker 4: you all about some fun?
- 45:21Speaker 3: Yes. I love fun. Fun is my favorite.
- 45:23Speaker 4: So this football season, during away games, I'm going to

- 45:43Speaker 3: Let's go.

- 45:46Speaker 4: but I don't know. But other than that, I'll be there. Also,

- 46:01Speaker 3: over at Pelican Mars. Hang out with Alondra on away games.
- 46:04Speaker 4: It'll be a great time. Dos Equis. Tay?
- 46:09Speaker 3: Nah, two squirts in the back of the neck. I
- 46:11Speaker 3: think he's done. Favorite food to try that you have
- 46:15Speaker 3: never had. Well, how's it your favorite to try if
- 46:17Speaker 3: you've never had it? Yeah, what the hell? Maybe like
- 46:21Speaker 3: the one you're intrigued by. What the hell? That's a
- 46:25Speaker 3: bad question.
- 46:25Speaker 6: My favorite food that I've never had.
- 46:28Speaker 9: Shark.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Oh, I like shark.
- 46:31Speaker 4: I've never tried it.
- 46:31Speaker 6: Ocean Air has it.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Ocean Air has it. It's pretty good. We love you.
