- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the No Time to Waste Podcast Studio.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: I'm your guide, Marcus Murray, and I have something very almost sobering to talk about today.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: It's one last chance.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: This is so important because we've talked for multiple episodes about activating your next and making the decision to do something in light of all the circumstances that are around us.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I want to challenge you with a thought.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: We're always waiting to start things new.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: We're waiting to launch out on new ideas and new projects.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: But what's interesting is who says there's more time in the future.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: We know the time we have right now because we're right here, right now.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: But what we don't know is how much time we have tomorrow.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: As a matter of fact, we know how many days and years we've lived, but we don't know how many days or years we have ahead of us.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: So failure to take action when you have the opportunity comes with an opportunity cost.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Do you know there is actually a day that comes when you had one last opportunity to launch a business?
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: There was one last opportunity to get involved.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: There was that one last chance that you had to do something different to make a change.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: You know, very similar to that one last trip that you were going to take.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Believe it or not, in life, it's filled with a series of lasts.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: That one last conversation, that one last conversation you were going to have, the phone call that you were going to make, but it was that last one and it was not made.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: That one last visit that you were going to make.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: You know, life is filled with lasts.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: The way that we can demonstrate to God the fact that we honor the time that's been given to us is that we do all that is within our power with what's been placed in our hands.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: We have to give it everything we've got.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Because the fact of the matter is we never know when it's that last, that last touch, that last hug, that last kiss, that last.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Trust me when I tell you the future is moving toward us at breakneck speed.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And if you doubt it, think back to your fifteenth birthday and look where you are today.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Do you remember your thirtieth birthday and then your fortieth and then your fiftieth?
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Where did all of the days, months, and years go?
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: And what are we assuming we're still going to have time to do in the future?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: What if now was the moment that you're supposed to activate your next?
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: We talked about the difference between life span and health span.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Do you realize one little turn in the pendulum of health changes everything?
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: That's why we have to treasure the moments.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Don't miss your moment.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Embrace where you are, celebrate your past accomplishments, and recognize what you did has prepared you for what you are about to do.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: You have what it takes.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: And there is power in partnership.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: So if you're able to align yourself with a strategic plan that will allow you to work with others that have done what you want to do, no one can keep you from your success.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: I'm so proud of you, and I'm looking forward to seeing you on the next episode.
