- 0:02Speaker 1: On Scorne Lives Australia. It's the Reader Paney Show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Riata Panehy Show.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Coming up tonight the New South Wales liberals in disarray?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Will we see a leadership challenge? We'll cross to Chicago
- 0:18Speaker 3: for the latest from the Democratic National Convention and the
- 0:21Speaker 3: fallout from Harry and Meghan's tour of poverty stricken Columbia.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And as we do each and every night, left He's
- 0:29Speaker 2: losing it or joining me?
- 0:46Speaker 3: No Is Mensis Research Center Senior fellow and also columnists
- 0:50Speaker 3: with the Australian newspaper, Nick Kita.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Nick, you're in Hungary this week. Every time I speak
- 0:56Speaker 2: to you somewhere new.
- 0:58Speaker 3: But I do want to speak about a column you've
- 1:00Speaker 3: written for the Australian newspaper warning the Labor government against
- 1:04Speaker 3: its big Australia by stealth push, pointing to the UK
- 1:08Speaker 3: as an example of why mass migration with minimum controls
- 1:13Speaker 3: could be a breeding ground for ethnic tensions and social disharmony.
- 1:19Speaker 3: One could argue the Albanesi government is even more reckless
- 1:24Speaker 3: than what we've seen in the UK, given their gaza policy.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Even the UK has been more careful in who they
- 1:31Speaker 3: let in from that region.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they certainly have read it. I mean the UK's
- 1:36Speaker 4: big failing is the inability to control their borders.
- 1:39Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:40Speaker 4: They say it's impossible, they say, to stop these small
- 1:43Speaker 4: boats which are dangerously overladen with the asylum seekers crossing
- 1:47Speaker 4: the channel. Whatever happened to the British navy by the way,
- 1:50Speaker 4: I mean, it used to be able to fend off
- 1:52Speaker 4: the Spanish Amatyr or Hitler. Now they can't do with
- 1:56Speaker 4: a few small boats. That's the big problem. One hundred
- 1:58Speaker 4: and twenty five thousand people have come that way in
- 2:01Speaker 4: the last three years, and as I've poured out in
- 2:04Speaker 4: the column, that is at the heart of this ethnic tension,
- 2:07Speaker 4: there's no other word for it on the streets of Britain.
- 2:09Speaker 4: And the focus in Britain has been on those hotels
- 2:12Speaker 4: that have been taken over to become kind of mini
- 2:15Speaker 4: Christmas Island detention centers right across Britain, more than three
- 2:19Speaker 4: hundred of them, I think. So this is where the
- 2:22Speaker 4: tension lies. And the point about Australia is well yes,
- 2:26Speaker 4: and the alban Ezi is sensibly kept most of the
- 2:28Speaker 4: border protection policies which he opposed of course in opposition,
- 2:32Speaker 4: but he's kept them in place. We do deal with boats,
- 2:36Speaker 4: although there's been some softening as we know some boats
- 2:38Speaker 4: have landed. But on multiple other levels, he's letting the
- 2:41Speaker 4: Australian population down. One on Gaza, letting these people in
- 2:44Speaker 4: from Gaza who have no idea who they are. And
- 2:47Speaker 4: the other one, of course, allowing dangerous criminals back onto
- 2:51Speaker 4: the streets, people who should rightly be deported because they're
- 2:54Speaker 4: not Australian citizens. So those two things, I think combined
- 2:58Speaker 4: mean that we are in a terrible place and people
- 3:00Speaker 4: have completely lost faith in the government's ability to handle migration.
- 3:04Speaker 4: And when that happens, you know, it really is a
- 3:07Speaker 4: very dangerous situation for Australia.
- 3:09Speaker 3: There was no reason for Anthony Albernezi to go against
- 3:13Speaker 3: every other Western country and bring in thousands of people
- 3:17Speaker 3: from a region like Gaza that is controlled by her mass.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Why he would do that, why would inflict troubles upon
- 3:26Speaker 3: his own government, is beyond me. You think it'd have
- 3:29Speaker 3: enough on his plate with the cost of living crisis
- 3:31Speaker 3: that we're tackling at the moment.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah, he's got form, though, hasn't he read? I mean,
- 3:37Speaker 4: if you go back into the handside. Do you see
- 3:38Speaker 4: that he was strongly opposed to John Howard's Tampa solution.
- 3:43Speaker 4: He believed that all those asylum seekers on board the
- 3:46Speaker 4: Tampa should be let into Australia and he even accused
- 3:49Speaker 4: Gary Hargraves, who was in the Member for Morden mild
- 3:52Speaker 4: Manner Gary Hargraves of being a racist for supporting John
- 3:56Speaker 4: Howard's policies on this. So you know it does a
- 3:58Speaker 4: leopard change its spots? I don't think so. I think
- 4:00Speaker 4: at heart he's an out and out open borders, let
- 4:04Speaker 4: them all in lefty. That's what we have in our
- 4:06Speaker 4: Prime minister. He tries to keep them undercover, but not
- 4:10Speaker 4: very well. Right at this moment.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Now, I want to speak to you about the crisis
- 4:15Speaker 3: in the New South Wales Liberals in a second.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But first I saw this public health study from the.
- 4:22Speaker 3: US that was just fascinating, showing that trust in doctors
- 4:26Speaker 3: and hospitals had decreased substantially over the course of the pandemic.
- 4:33Speaker 3: A fifty state survey of American adults found that in
- 4:36Speaker 3: every sociodemographic group among the four hundred and forty three
- 4:41Speaker 3: thousand odd unique respondents, trust in physicians and hospitals had
- 4:46Speaker 3: decreased significantly. It's gone from seventy one point five percent
- 4:52Speaker 3: in April twenty twenty to forty percent in January twenty
- 4:57Speaker 3: twenty four. And Nick, I'd love to see a similar
- 5:01Speaker 3: study in Australia and the UK and every other place
- 5:05Speaker 3: that went COVID crazy.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'd say we'd probably get similar results.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Maybe not as stark as that, but I know a
- 5:12Speaker 3: lot of people who had great faith in the expert
- 5:16Speaker 3: class in general who now question everything they hear.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a tragic outcome from COVID. It was
- 5:25Speaker 4: always going to happen. I mean some of us wrote
- 5:27Speaker 4: about it at the time that if you have these
- 5:29Speaker 4: coercive measures, coercive public health policy can work for a
- 5:34Speaker 4: short time, but in the end it undermines trust in
- 5:37Speaker 4: the whole health service and the public health process and
- 5:40Speaker 4: leads to a distrustful population. There's literature on that, there's
- 5:43Speaker 4: academic studies on that, but all those were ignored. But
- 5:47Speaker 4: I think what's tragic here is we all ought to
- 5:49Speaker 4: be able to trust the advice of our own doctor.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I mean, even I do. I mean, from time to
- 5:54Speaker 4: time you've got to go to him, and you expect
- 5:56Speaker 4: him to know what he's talking about. But unfortunately, doctors
- 6:00Speaker 4: gps were forced to give one line, and one line only,
- 6:04Speaker 4: the official public health line, even though I know I
- 6:07Speaker 4: know several doctors, two of whom I consulted, who had
- 6:10Speaker 4: severe doubts about giving the vaccine, particularly to the under
- 6:14Speaker 4: seventy five, so you know, to healthy people under seventy five,
- 6:17Speaker 4: which I'm still I think in that category. They had
- 6:19Speaker 4: severe doubts about that, but they couldn't voice them.
- 6:22Speaker 1: They had to.
- 6:23Speaker 4: It was almost like a sort of official Soviet line
- 6:26Speaker 4: they had to impose, and they did it very unhappily,
- 6:29Speaker 4: and I think as a result of that, people have
- 6:31Speaker 4: lost trust in their GP, which is really worrying, and
- 6:35Speaker 4: that's where they right from the start, I felt what
- 6:38Speaker 4: they should have said is, you know, here's our public
- 6:40Speaker 4: health guidelines, but go and see a GP. Take his advice,
- 6:43Speaker 4: because he can take into account whether you're seventy five
- 6:46Speaker 4: kilos or one hundred and seventy five, whether there as smoker,
- 6:49Speaker 4: whether or not, all those things. But of course none
- 6:51Speaker 4: of that happened. It was all top down, Dan Andrews
- 6:55Speaker 4: down sort of management, and the doctors had to play
- 6:57Speaker 4: along with it.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think it went well beyond the vaccines
- 7:02Speaker 3: and questions about whether they should be essentially mandatory or not.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I think it was the health effects of.
- 7:08Speaker 3: The lockdown, the fact that we were told there was
- 7:12Speaker 3: consensus amongst the medical community that lockdowns were a way
- 7:16Speaker 3: to go to minimize health risk, when there were plenty
- 7:20Speaker 3: of experts speaking out, often at great cost to themselves,
- 7:24Speaker 3: saying no, this is normally not how we handle a
- 7:26Speaker 3: pandemic by locking up healthy people. In fact, the health
- 7:30Speaker 3: outcomes could be significantly worse than the long term for all.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Sorts of things, And yet there was just this.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Censorship and hostility towards anyone who was questioning the official line.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Now two New South Wales two GB hosts Ray Hadley
- 7:47Speaker 3: read out private text messages live on air that revealed
- 7:51Speaker 3: just how divided the New South Wales liberals have become.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Hadley has called on the party to do something to
- 7:58Speaker 3: stop whining and challenge the moderates running the show.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Let's have a spill, Let's see what happens here, and
- 8:05Speaker 6: let's see if the right have the courage, they might
- 8:08Speaker 6: get beaten by the left, but let's have a bit
- 8:09Speaker 6: of a blue to actually show the electorate to New
- 8:12Speaker 6: South Wales. You people on the right, you know who
- 8:14Speaker 6: I'm talking about.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You people on the right, have a dig.
- 8:17Speaker 6: Stop sending me text messages, cowardly letting me be your mouthpiece.
- 8:21Speaker 6: Get on the air now and tell the left of
- 8:23Speaker 6: your party you've had a gutfull of them. You know
- 8:25Speaker 6: who you are from the right, Anthony Roberts, Alistair Henskins,
- 8:29Speaker 6: Come on, get on here and challenge them.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Nick, what do you make of this saga and the
- 8:34Speaker 3: divisions in the New South Wales libs?
- 8:38Speaker 4: Well, it was always too much for stuff up to
- 8:41Speaker 4: be put down to incompetence, wasn't it. And now what's
- 8:43Speaker 4: coming out is what a lot of us had imagined
- 8:46Speaker 4: all along, that it's incompetence plus factionalism. You know that
- 8:51Speaker 4: we've got done harm Whin as president, who is a
- 8:53Speaker 4: factional player, who, according to these texts from manister Henskins,
- 8:57Speaker 4: was trying to get his own people into the council
- 9:00Speaker 4: nomination slots and that was what held the whole thing up.
- 9:04Speaker 4: All that is absolutely true to form. It's exactly what
- 9:06Speaker 4: happened at the last federal election. As you remember when
- 9:09Speaker 4: Alex Hawk on behalf of the Prime Minister of the
- 9:11Speaker 4: day held up the pre selection process then, because they
- 9:15Speaker 4: wanted to ensure that people friendly to his side of
- 9:18Speaker 4: politics got in. This is the bit about the Liberal Party,
- 9:21Speaker 4: or politics more generally, because it happens across all parties,
- 9:25Speaker 4: including the Greens incidentally, that I find really distasteful. I mean,
- 9:29Speaker 4: a lot of us see politics as the way to
- 9:31Speaker 4: get things done, the way to achieve better outcomes for
- 9:34Speaker 4: the population. But unfortunately there are many people, not all
- 9:38Speaker 4: of them, I used to say, but many people in
- 9:40Speaker 4: politics who have just purely selfish and egotistical reasons to
- 9:45Speaker 4: be in there, to pump up their own tires, to
- 9:47Speaker 4: boost their own faction, and it's a game for them.
- 9:50Speaker 4: I think this is disgraceful because people vote for parties
- 9:54Speaker 4: to achieve something better in their life, not to mortar
- 9:57Speaker 4: some factional balance in New South Wales. So the sooner
- 10:01Speaker 4: we can read this out of the Liberal Party, if
- 10:03Speaker 4: you can weed it out of the Liberal Party, it
- 10:05Speaker 4: might just be a part of politics the better and
- 10:08Speaker 4: I think, but certainly Don Harwin's position is untenable.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I would have thought it was untenable, but he is
- 10:15Speaker 3: holding on for dear life. And this is an issue
- 10:19Speaker 3: we've got in the Liberals here in Victoria, We've got
- 10:22Speaker 3: it in New South Wales. I've seen it elsewhere in
- 10:24Speaker 3: the country where these moderates, if you want to use
- 10:27Speaker 3: a nicer term than bedwetters or smaller liberals, whatever you
- 10:32Speaker 3: want to call them, they seem to be completely preoccupied
- 10:36Speaker 3: with defeating conservatives within their own party and that seems
- 10:41Speaker 3: to be their number one priority above battling labor, battling
- 10:47Speaker 3: the Greens. Actually I don't know getting elected. It seems
- 10:50Speaker 3: to be to strip the Liberal Party or any remaining
- 10:54Speaker 3: conservative voices, and I think that is largely behind the
- 10:59Speaker 3: debacle we saw or with that deadline being missed in
- 11:03Speaker 3: New South Wales. Now, before you go, let's talk about
- 11:06Speaker 3: crime in Queensland, particularly in regional Queensland.
- 11:09Speaker 2: That the rates have soared and they're exceeding those.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Of metropolitan areas, with some areas seeing crime four times
- 11:17Speaker 3: the rate that's in the city type of look at
- 11:20Speaker 3: the Graftsman ISAs crime rate.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You look at that compared to.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Say South Brisbane, you've got foury twenty to seven hundred
- 11:28Speaker 3: and thirteen per hundred thousand people. So a massive difference,
- 11:32Speaker 3: and the trend has been rising for years across most
- 11:36Speaker 3: of Queensland. Nick, do you see this as a significant
- 11:40Speaker 3: issue leading up to the state election.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I think it's a huge issue Reado. I mean, you know,
- 11:45Speaker 4: as you know, law and order is a thing that
- 11:49Speaker 4: people direct their anger largely at the state government when
- 11:53Speaker 4: things aren't going right, and in this case for good reason.
- 11:56Speaker 4: You know, you've got a progressive leaning, sort of Inner
- 11:59Speaker 4: Brisbane focused government in place that has all those same
- 12:03Speaker 4: sort of defund the police instincts, so that they don't
- 12:06Speaker 4: actually say that as people in Los Angeles, San Francisco
- 12:10Speaker 4: or Minneapolis, so that's where they're coming from. They've got
- 12:14Speaker 4: that ideological bent. Plus you've got the imposition of the
- 12:17Speaker 4: getting rid of the cash list welfare card and the
- 12:19Speaker 4: other dreadful measures that have happened at the federal level
- 12:21Speaker 4: which are causing a lot of these problems out in
- 12:23Speaker 4: place like Mount Isaer and Townsville, and you've just got
- 12:26Speaker 4: a recipe for lawlessness. I think the police clearly need
- 12:31Speaker 4: not only to be better funded, but given a free hand.
- 12:34Speaker 4: We've got to take the handbrakes off the police and
- 12:37Speaker 4: say you get on and do what you used to
- 12:38Speaker 4: do back in the nineteen sixties, and don't worry about
- 12:41Speaker 4: all everything else that's going on. Just just get out
- 12:44Speaker 4: there and keep the streets safe. Queenslanders have a right
- 12:48Speaker 4: to expect that, and the government right now is not
- 12:51Speaker 4: delivering for them.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Nick Kaita, thank you so much for your time this evening.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Joining me now is journalists and documentary filmmaker Army Horowitz.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Day three of the Democratic National Convention has seen everyone
- 13:05Speaker 3: from Stevie Wonder to Oprah to Nancy Poise and Bill
- 13:09Speaker 3: Clinton spake. Old Bill made a point to attack Donald
- 13:13Speaker 3: Trump on foreign policy. Army, how impactful has the DNC
- 13:18Speaker 3: been in reaching undecided voters or those who are not
- 13:22Speaker 3: particularly politically engaged.
- 13:27Speaker 7: Yeah, Look, traditionally you always get a bit of a
- 13:30Speaker 7: bump after your convention. I think that I'll probably be
- 13:34Speaker 7: a little bit blunted by the fact that she's already
- 13:37Speaker 7: kind of sugar high after the coup against Joe Biden.
- 13:43Speaker 7: So I think there'll be a little bit of a bump,
- 13:45Speaker 7: not much. I mean, the truth is the numbers, maybe
- 13:48Speaker 7: seven percent of the country are watching on average the
- 13:51Speaker 7: DNC every night. That's seven percent of the most politically
- 13:55Speaker 7: engaged people that exist in the country. So I don't
- 13:57Speaker 7: think it's a matter a whole lot when it comes independent.
- 14:01Speaker 7: But the fact is that you made me do prep
- 14:03Speaker 7: by watching Pelosi and Bill Clinton's speeches and rita. That's
- 14:07Speaker 7: thirty five minutes I'm not getting back.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So I'm a little bit peeved at you, to be honest.
- 14:12Speaker 1: But you know, look, there's a bunch of takeaways. Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 1: looks what I do for eleven l It's fine.
- 14:20Speaker 7: I think it's a couple of interesting takeaways on that.
- 14:23Speaker 7: First of all, there's this narrative now that you're hearing, right.
- 14:26Speaker 7: The narrative initially was Joe Biden is one hundred percent fine,
- 14:30Speaker 7: Joe Biden is the top of his game. Well, the
- 14:32Speaker 7: new Democratic talking point is, oh, we are so thankful
- 14:37Speaker 7: to Joe Biden for stepping down and allowing this to
- 14:40Speaker 7: take Are you kidding me?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Nancy Pelogi shipped.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Him in the back, right, which is going on about
- 14:47Speaker 7: how great Joe Biden, how wonderfully was stepping down. He too, Pelosi,
- 14:52Speaker 7: That's exactly how this went down.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You know, it's so weird.
- 14:55Speaker 7: And of course, can you feel the joy, right, can
- 14:58Speaker 7: you feel the happiness? Yeah, it's all good vibes. You know,
- 15:02Speaker 7: the left are the most unhappy people I've ever seen
- 15:06Speaker 7: in my life. You know, when somebody says joy, feel
- 15:08Speaker 7: the joy, too often you have to wonder if.
- 15:11Speaker 1: They really actually mean it. So, yeah, look, it is
- 15:15Speaker 1: what it is. Traditionally you get a little bit of
- 15:18Speaker 1: a bump from this.
- 15:19Speaker 7: I think she'll get a little bit, but this is
- 15:21Speaker 7: really the this is her high right, It's not going
- 15:24Speaker 7: to get better than this for her, and it's really
- 15:27Speaker 7: still within spinning range.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So if I'm the Trump campaign, I'm actually pretty happy
- 15:31Speaker 1: with where I am.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Well, you're right about the fake joy. I've been watching
- 15:38Speaker 3: more than forty five minutes. I've been watching the whole
- 15:40Speaker 3: thing daily, and there's a lot of anger there.
- 15:43Speaker 2: There's a lot of attacks.
- 15:45Speaker 3: There's a lot of talk about unity and happiness and
- 15:49Speaker 3: joy and bringing the country together, but then they spend
- 15:53Speaker 3: so much time attacking half the country, and that ugliness
- 15:58Speaker 3: is outside the venue as well. Well, it's fact far
- 16:01Speaker 3: worse you've been in the midst of it. Those protests
- 16:03Speaker 3: continue outside the DNC in the streets of Chicago.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Police are now having to sharp in enormous numbers.
- 16:11Speaker 3: There was a counter protests a group of pro Israeli
- 16:15Speaker 3: activists and that had to be protected army because the
- 16:19Speaker 3: so called Love and Tolerance Brigade wanted to attack them.
- 16:24Speaker 3: You've seen a lot of this with your own eyes.
- 16:26Speaker 3: What is the mood like in the streets there?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't just see it, Rita.
- 16:31Speaker 7: I felt that when these thugs were wrestling with me
- 16:35Speaker 7: after my little stunt with them. Actually, truth, I don't
- 16:38Speaker 7: blame them, you know. First of all, I want to
- 16:41Speaker 7: say something. They're such litter bugs. I can't I have
- 16:47Speaker 7: photos of the amount of trash these people leave. All
- 16:51Speaker 7: their signs are left on the streets. They can to
- 16:54Speaker 7: clean up after themselves, Rita, It's horrible. No, there's there's yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 7: there's no good vibes.
- 17:02Speaker 1: There's no joy among these people.
- 17:04Speaker 7: These are not people who are going to get Kamala's support,
- 17:08Speaker 7: despite the fact that she is cow telling to them,
- 17:10Speaker 7: despite the fact that Joe Biden says they have a.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Point, like they can try to bend the knee as.
- 17:17Speaker 7: Much as they want to these animals, they are simply
- 17:20Speaker 7: not going to support them. And look, you know what,
- 17:23Speaker 7: there's a bunch of Jewish groups within the DNC who've
- 17:26Speaker 7: had meetings. They've had to have these meetings in secret.
- 17:30Speaker 7: Literally they can announce where these meetings are because they're
- 17:34Speaker 7: afraid of physical violence from the hard left. That's what's
- 17:38Speaker 7: going on, as opposed to the RNC, where Jewish people
- 17:41Speaker 7: on stage saying bring the hostages back. They are vetted
- 17:45Speaker 7: in the RNC, but the DNC they're like Maran, They're
- 17:49Speaker 7: like the Moranos. They have to live in hiding among
- 17:52Speaker 7: the Democrats because of violence.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Well, this is the thing.
- 17:56Speaker 3: He did give a good speech today, but he should
- 17:59Speaker 3: pay VP. Anyone with any sense can see he is
- 18:02Speaker 3: the most Well, he's a natural choice. Is the governor,
- 18:07Speaker 3: very popular governor of Pennsylvania, a state that she needs
- 18:11Speaker 3: to win if she's going to prevail. And to overlook him,
- 18:16Speaker 3: essentially to appease those anti Israeli segments of the party
- 18:21Speaker 3: I think is absolutely shameful. And there is a lot
- 18:25Speaker 3: of division in the Democrats there trying to present this
- 18:27Speaker 3: picture of one big, happy family and united, but Biden's
- 18:32Speaker 3: obviously angry. He's not even there, he's not talking to
- 18:35Speaker 3: Nancy Pelosi. It's going to be interesting to see these rifts,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and someone's going to write the story one day about
- 18:45Speaker 3: how that coup happened. Who made the final call? Was
- 18:48Speaker 3: it Nancy Pelosi? Was it Barack Obama? Was he threatened
- 18:52Speaker 3: with that was a twenty.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Five the amendment? Will we one day know how it
- 18:59Speaker 2: all happened?
- 19:00Speaker 5: Me?
- 19:01Speaker 7: It's yes, yes, and yes, yes, it is all of
- 19:03Speaker 7: those things. I mean, yeah, they're they're they're definitely trying
- 19:09Speaker 7: to make it a happy, go lucky We're all one
- 19:12Speaker 7: big family. I know that watching CNN's coverage and MSNBC's
- 19:16Speaker 7: coverage of this, of the d n C, they certainly.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Are putting on a happy face. They're talking about how
- 19:22Speaker 1: wonderful Tim waltzs was, what a great choice it was.
- 19:25Speaker 7: It was a massive unforced error by Kamala and the
- 19:29Speaker 7: Democratic Party to to to pass over Jos Shapiro, who
- 19:34Speaker 7: may have given them the election, like you said, because
- 19:36Speaker 7: really the ballgame is Pennsylvania.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You ever wins Pennsylvania is gonna win this election.
- 19:40Speaker 7: He's he's incredibly popular in Pennsylvania, and and they chose.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Uh, let's again, let's be honest.
- 19:46Speaker 7: Uh, this is a far leftist uh wack a doodle
- 19:50Speaker 7: who supports people who are who have who have made
- 19:54Speaker 7: stated support for October seventh, Right, this is the guy.
- 19:57Speaker 7: This is a guy who has said who trying to
- 19:59Speaker 7: push through an agenda of taking children away from their
- 20:01Speaker 7: parents who are transgenderal.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And by the way, that's a real thing.
- 20:04Speaker 7: I know that the Democratic Party and the media carrying
- 20:07Speaker 7: their water trying to say it's fake news.
- 20:09Speaker 1: It's not fake news. I went into it.
- 20:11Speaker 7: That's exactly what the courts we're going to be in
- 20:13Speaker 7: bold to do. There was a massive mistake, and I think, look,
- 20:17Speaker 7: if she loses, I think we can go back and
- 20:20Speaker 7: point that and say that might have been the reason
- 20:22Speaker 7: why she end up losing.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Well, not only is he a far left socialist and
- 20:27Speaker 3: he's proud of the socialist tag, but you know, putting
- 20:30Speaker 3: tampons in boys restrooms throughout schools.
- 20:34Speaker 2: But he's a governor of a state.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That doesn't matter. So how she could have made that
- 20:39Speaker 3: call is beyond me. And if it costs her the election,
- 20:43Speaker 3: well there'll be a few books.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Written about that.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Now.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Donald Trump held his first outdoor rally since the assassination
- 20:50Speaker 3: attempt on his life just over a month ago. He
- 20:53Speaker 3: appeared behind bulletproof glass alongside his running mate JD.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Vance. This is a sad development army.
- 21:01Speaker 3: It's necessary obviously in the current environment, particularly when you've
- 21:05Speaker 3: got the Democrats on mass calling him a threat to
- 21:08Speaker 3: democracy and a threat to the future of the Republic.
- 21:12Speaker 3: But to say him behind that glass, I think it's
- 21:17Speaker 3: an indictment on the current state of things in the US.
- 21:23Speaker 7: It's in particular indictment of the Democratic Party in the
- 21:25Speaker 7: left right, because you don't see Joe Biden or Kamala
- 21:29Speaker 7: Harris having a hide behind plexiglass and bulletproof glass.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I think it's a hallmark of the left.
- 21:35Speaker 7: I did a video where I walked around the day
- 21:38Speaker 7: after the assassination attempt asking people in New York how
- 21:41Speaker 7: they felt about it, and the vast majority of people
- 21:43Speaker 7: I spoke to felt it was a lost opportunity.
- 21:46Speaker 1: They hoped he was killed, They wish he was killed.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Yeah, look, I mean, I don't want to waste the
- 21:52Speaker 7: time of your audience going through the list of left
- 21:54Speaker 7: as violence. But Steve Scalise, Congressman, Republican congressman was shot
- 22:02Speaker 7: by Bernie Sander supporters at a cogrecial baseball game. Uh
- 22:06Speaker 7: Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh assassination attempt in his home, and
- 22:11Speaker 7: of course Donald Trump.
- 22:13Speaker 1: This is a hallmark of the left. They use violence
- 22:16Speaker 1: as political means. This is nothing new.
- 22:18Speaker 7: I think can go historically and look at the left
- 22:20Speaker 7: and see that they use violence because the only way
- 22:22Speaker 7: they get their agenda pushed across.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It's a problem.
- 22:26Speaker 7: I'm not saying that there's no violence on the right whatsoever,
- 22:28Speaker 7: but if we look at modern day history, we can
- 22:30Speaker 7: see the majority of it's coming from the hard left.
- 22:33Speaker 7: Not again, not left of center democrats, but hard left
- 22:37Speaker 7: people who are part of the democratic constituency.
- 22:40Speaker 1: This is where most of the violence is coming from.
- 22:42Speaker 2: We're being honest, Amy Horwitz, thank you so much for
- 22:46Speaker 2: your time.
- 22:46Speaker 1: This savening always a pleasure.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Reader still to come. I left lazing it and Canadians
- 22:53Speaker 2: c I. Vaughn and Donald Trump discussed welcome back.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Now it's time for lefties losing it. Let's have a
- 23:12Speaker 3: look at some of the insanity on the streets of
- 23:15Speaker 3: Chicago from anti American left is. Watch here as a
- 23:18Speaker 3: lone man tries to stop the American flag being set
- 23:22Speaker 3: alight as masked maniacs scream in his face.
- 23:29Speaker 7: Not on florry.
- 23:47Speaker 2: They did burn the flag.
- 23:49Speaker 3: They don't just hate Trump and Conservatives, they hate Israel.
- 23:53Speaker 3: They hate America, they hate Western civilization, but at least
- 23:56Speaker 3: they're open about their far left lunacy.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Inside the they're trying to pretend they're.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Just like the rest of the country. They're even playing
- 24:04Speaker 3: country music. But the only thing that really unites these
- 24:08Speaker 3: people is a hatred of their political opponents. Watch as
- 24:13Speaker 3: this transactivist is given the mic to announce the new
- 24:16Speaker 3: Jersey delegates are back in Kamala, but instead he goes
- 24:20Speaker 3: on some pronoun announcing anti Trump rant instead.
- 24:25Speaker 8: My name is doctor Joey Brolla pronounced she her hers.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I'm a crowd president of a garden.
- 24:30Speaker 2: See.
- 24:32Speaker 7: I'm prod stand with Doubla Harris and Tim Wall because
- 24:35Speaker 7: they stand with the LGBTQ community.
- 24:43Speaker 5: It's time to turn the page on Trump hurt.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Thank you, dude, you had one job. It wasn't that.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Now.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Let's look at the sort of projection and hypocrisy that
- 24:55Speaker 3: the DNC provides and I'll take your breath away. Let's
- 24:59Speaker 3: start with former First Lady Michelle Obama talking about the
- 25:03Speaker 3: Republicans being against children. But really she's talking here about
- 25:08Speaker 3: Republicans being against children who are being transitioned with dangerous irreversible.
- 25:13Speaker 9: Treatments, demonizing our children for being who they are and
- 25:18Speaker 9: loving who they love. Look, that doesn't make anybody's life better.
- 25:23Speaker 3: And here Michelle talks about how bad greedy is, how
- 25:27Speaker 3: you should be suspicious of those who want more than
- 25:30Speaker 3: their share. But thanks to Daily Wire for reminding us
- 25:34Speaker 3: of the wealth Michelle and Baraque have accumulated.
- 25:38Speaker 9: She and my father didn't aspire to be wealthy. In fact,
- 25:42Speaker 9: they were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed.
- 26:00Speaker 3: She paid more than one thousand dollars for those shoes
- 26:02Speaker 3: that pay that much, never to see them again.
- 26:05Speaker 2: They're all full.
- 26:05Speaker 3: But while they're pretending to be all about jaw and positivity,
- 26:10Speaker 3: Baraka Michelle Obama did again push the politics of envy, grievance,
- 26:15Speaker 3: racial division, and to top it off, we had the
- 26:18Speaker 3: entire DNC chanting for the political class to do something,
- 26:32Speaker 3: do something.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The Democrats are in power.
- 26:35Speaker 3: The Biden Harris administration is running the show.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Do they forget that?
- 26:39Speaker 3: Indeed, the Democrats have been in power for twelve of
- 26:42Speaker 3: the last sixteen years, and yet they decry the state
- 26:46Speaker 3: of the country, the division, the economy.
- 26:49Speaker 2: It's all on them.
- 26:50Speaker 3: But the media has their new talking point, and the
- 26:53Speaker 3: word of the day is electric.
- 26:56Speaker 10: And it was though someone had plugged in a cable,
- 26:58Speaker 10: a current was connected and there was pure electricity.
- 27:02Speaker 3: In the room.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Thank you for sharing with us some of the electricity.
- 27:05Speaker 2: The energy is incredibly electric.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You know it was just electric.
- 27:08Speaker 7: That's sort of electric because I've ever seen it.
- 27:10Speaker 1: It was absolutely electric.
- 27:12Speaker 7: Well, talk to you about the atmosphere in here is
- 27:14Speaker 7: an electric excitement bait.
- 27:16Speaker 5: It is electric.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Senator Schumer wasn't lying when he was saying that there's
- 27:21Speaker 7: a lot of electricity and excitement right now. So it's
- 27:23Speaker 7: incredibly electric.
- 27:24Speaker 8: It's electric.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Something just got uncorked.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Room in Chicago quite electric today.
- 27:29Speaker 11: Last night was electric.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It'll be electric, electrifying the electrification.
- 27:33Speaker 5: There was electricity in this room.
- 27:36Speaker 3: That is preferable to Van Jones on CNN, almost crying
- 27:40Speaker 3: after hearing the Obamas speak.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Dude, get a gramp.
- 27:44Speaker 12: I didn't know how much I missed missed them.
- 27:48Speaker 5: I missed them.
- 27:49Speaker 12: I missed that, I miss hearing that this was a
- 27:52Speaker 12: masterful act of leadership.
- 27:55Speaker 5: It was a sacred task.
- 27:57Speaker 1: They took it on.
- 27:58Speaker 12: Well, it was like an oasis. I didn't realize I
- 28:03Speaker 12: had been in a spiritual desert until they created that
- 28:07Speaker 12: oasis on that stage, and they did a beautiful job tonight.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Oh my mind, dude, you need those around you to
- 28:14Speaker 3: tell you to stop talking seriously now, just a shame
- 28:18Speaker 3: saying and didn't interview this next guy. The BBC did,
- 28:22Speaker 3: but that don't think they knew that he was actually
- 28:25Speaker 3: a conservative mocking the lefties losing it.
- 28:28Speaker 10: Well, brought you on a erdy No listen, my name
- 28:31Speaker 10: is no source a uten pronouns.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Like, I'm just really excited.
- 28:34Speaker 10: How we have like the first black woman that could
- 28:37Speaker 10: be the president of the United States. And you know,
- 28:40Speaker 10: like my wife right, we're in a polyad resatip the
- 28:44Speaker 10: lover that my wife took as African American, and like,
- 28:46Speaker 10: I've learned so much about the struggle that people of
- 28:49Speaker 10: color go through as a.
- 28:50Speaker 9: Result of my wife's boyfriend.
- 28:52Speaker 10: And so I'm excited to really do my partin soo
- 28:54Speaker 10: dog erny my marginalized community, and like about why to
- 28:57Speaker 10: do that is to get the first woman of color.
- 28:59Speaker 1: To be That's a commander achievement.
- 29:00Speaker 4: I'm really excited.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I'm so fussed, And let's end lefties with Hollywood has
- 29:05Speaker 3: been a DNC fanboy Mark Hamill.
- 29:08Speaker 2: He has a message for the nation, and get ready
- 29:11Speaker 2: to cringe hard.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Well in the movies, I thought against make believe evil,
- 29:17Speaker 5: or at a time in our history we were fighting
- 29:19Speaker 5: against real evil.
- 29:20Speaker 2: So I beg you please don't go into the Ora
- 29:24Speaker 2: eas side. And we have plenty more lefties losing it with.
- 29:31Speaker 3: My next guest joining me now is Sky News contributor
- 29:34Speaker 3: Kosher Gator Kosher. We've had Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and
- 29:38Speaker 3: Oprah speak at the Democratic National Convention.
- 29:42Speaker 9: Carmen Sense tells you that Kamala Harris and Tim Walltz
- 29:46Speaker 9: can give us decency. Let's all choose Kamala Harrah.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Now Kosher.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Oprah isn't the figure she used to be, but she
- 30:01Speaker 3: still has a massive following amongst a certain demographic. You're
- 30:04Speaker 3: sort of your middle aged female demographic. Will her presence there,
- 30:09Speaker 3: her endorsement mean much to the electorate.
- 30:12Speaker 13: You know, she's definitely past her peak. When her show
- 30:14Speaker 13: was airing about a decade ago, she was getting fifty
- 30:17Speaker 13: five million viewers from that key demographic. She's past that peak,
- 30:20Speaker 13: but she still does have real star power in that group,
- 30:23Speaker 13: and one of the most ascendant segments for the Democrat
- 30:25Speaker 13: party is single women above the age of forty. I
- 30:28Speaker 13: was looking at this the other day. They vote seventy
- 30:30Speaker 13: two percent for the Democrat. That's the most monolithic voting
- 30:33Speaker 13: pattern outside.
- 30:34Speaker 11: Of African America.
- 30:35Speaker 13: So if Sarah unmarried, unmarried, interesting married women, it's actually
- 30:38Speaker 13: much closer split and they lean slightly.
- 30:40Speaker 11: Republican, but unmarried women over forty.
- 30:42Speaker 13: How much of those people today Oprah's reaching I don't know,
- 30:45Speaker 13: But even if she turns a little bit of them,
- 30:47Speaker 13: that is very powerful.
- 30:49Speaker 3: But then that is the demographic that is already backing
- 30:51Speaker 3: the backing the Democrats strongly.
- 30:54Speaker 11: So does she move the needle more for them? Exactly?
- 30:57Speaker 3: For the undecided, for those who are perhaps not politically engaged,
- 31:01Speaker 3: that's gonna be the question now. Just about everyone who's
- 31:04Speaker 3: taken to the d NC stage has played the victim
- 31:07Speaker 3: to a certain extent, but none as much as Michelle
- 31:10Speaker 3: Obama I, who had a lot to say, a lot
- 31:13Speaker 3: of victim playing, a lot of angry attacks against Trump,
- 31:16Speaker 3: and a lot of racial politics.
- 31:18Speaker 9: Unfortunately, we know what comes next. We know folks are
- 31:24Speaker 9: gonna do everything they can to distort her truth. My
- 31:30Speaker 9: husband and I sadly know a little something about this.
- 31:35Speaker 9: For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to
- 31:39Speaker 9: try to make people fear us.
- 31:43Speaker 2: See his limited, narrow view of the world.
- 31:47Speaker 9: Made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard
- 31:50Speaker 9: work and highly educated, successful people who happened to be black.
- 31:55Speaker 3: It's a little bit rich for Barack and Michelle Obama
- 31:58Speaker 3: to play the victim and what do you mean kosher
- 32:00Speaker 3: of the do something chant that Michelle started That was
- 32:05Speaker 3: very interesting because the Democrats are in power, do the
- 32:09Speaker 3: people there seem to have forgotten that fairly critical fact.
- 32:14Speaker 13: Seems to be And it feels like this election isn't
- 32:16Speaker 13: about two candidates or even the Republican Party versus the
- 32:19Speaker 13: Democrat Party. It's between reality and illusion because they're creating
- 32:22Speaker 13: this illusion as.
- 32:23Speaker 11: Though they're not the ones in power. They're not the incumbents.
- 32:26Speaker 13: And basically, Barack Obama had eight years his VP, Joe
- 32:29Speaker 13: Biden has had another four years, and there was just
- 32:31Speaker 13: a four year blip of Trump in the middle, so
- 32:33Speaker 13: they've had the reins for a long time. Look, I
- 32:36Speaker 13: think we all support people pulling up their bootstraps and
- 32:39Speaker 13: making something of their lives.
- 32:40Speaker 11: So that's a good thing about the Obamas.
- 32:42Speaker 13: But it is a little bit rich to then try
- 32:44Speaker 13: to cast themselves as these downtrodden people are speaking for
- 32:48Speaker 13: the downtrodden people when they report them there worth seventy
- 32:50Speaker 13: million dollars.
- 32:50Speaker 11: Good for them.
- 32:51Speaker 3: These issues that have with the country, all the things
- 32:54Speaker 3: that aren't the way they should be, and they're going
- 32:56Speaker 3: to change under a Harris administration. Well, like you've explained,
- 33:00Speaker 3: twelve of the last sixteen years, Democrats have been in power.
- 33:03Speaker 3: So if there's problems within the country, we know where
- 33:07Speaker 3: we're coming from exactly now. Michelle Obama also shared sentiments
- 33:12Speaker 3: about how rich people take more than they need and
- 33:16Speaker 3: you should be distrustful of those sort of people. But
- 33:18Speaker 3: this is a woman who earned seven hundred thousand euros
- 33:20Speaker 3: for one hour speech at a forum in Germany. And
- 33:25Speaker 3: they're bambas of enormous wealth, a lot of it from
- 33:29Speaker 3: being in public life. And whatever you think of Trump,
- 33:33Speaker 3: he hasn't made his money from the taxpayer.
- 33:37Speaker 1: For sure.
- 33:37Speaker 13: So they had a little stint Barack Obama and the
- 33:40Speaker 13: State Senate and then a little bit in the United
- 33:42Speaker 13: States Senate and then parlead that into the presidency and
- 33:44Speaker 13: on the back of that seventy million dollars reportedly is
- 33:47Speaker 13: there net worth Again, good for them, we celebrate that
- 33:50Speaker 13: there are questions about how they made that money, which
- 33:53Speaker 13: is interesting on the back of being public figures. But
- 33:55Speaker 13: I think that's actually a sign of just the times
- 33:57Speaker 13: we live in, where celebrity in every sphere, even in politics,
- 34:01Speaker 13: gets rewarded and have in contrast that to somebody like
- 34:03Speaker 13: Ulysses s Ground eighteenth president won the Civil War, he
- 34:07Speaker 13: was abrown Lincoln's general and he died penniless.
- 34:09Speaker 11: Yeah, at different times than versus.
- 34:11Speaker 3: And it was interesting because Trump talked about he being
- 34:13Speaker 3: a billionaire donated his presidential salary, and he thought that
- 34:18Speaker 3: given so many presidents have been relatively wealthy over the years,
- 34:22Speaker 3: they would have done the same, but no one had
- 34:25Speaker 3: until the which was surprising in itself. Now, while the
- 34:28Speaker 3: DNC is underway, Kamala Harris is busy campaigning. She held
- 34:32Speaker 3: a rally about nineteen miles away from the Dancy Venue Milwaukee,
- 34:37Speaker 3: where she again decry the state of the economy as
- 34:41Speaker 3: if she's not part of the current administration.
- 34:44Speaker 8: We believe in the future where we lower the cost
- 34:47Speaker 8: of living for America's families, and when I am president,
- 34:51Speaker 8: I will bring down the cost of groceries by making
- 34:54Speaker 8: sure markets are competitive and fair.
- 34:58Speaker 3: This tactic is working, but how long will the media
- 35:01Speaker 3: allow her to divorce herself from her own past and
- 35:07Speaker 3: from her own legacy as vice president and everything that
- 35:10Speaker 3: came before it, because she is almost campaigning as if
- 35:14Speaker 3: she's the challenger.
- 35:16Speaker 13: Until the bitter end. Unfortunately, I think they're going to
- 35:19Speaker 13: continue to provide cover for her. As we said, this
- 35:21Speaker 13: election is about reality versus illusion. You know, people may
- 35:25Speaker 13: like Trump personally, may like his policies or they may not,
- 35:28Speaker 13: but you know what they are. You know what he
- 35:30Speaker 13: stands for and the vision that he proposes, and on
- 35:32Speaker 13: the side, it is a bit of an illusion and
- 35:35Speaker 13: chameleon like nature. I also found it interesting that she's
- 35:37Speaker 13: doubling down on the price caps because that was the
- 35:39Speaker 13: one instance of first policy proposal she put out and
- 35:42Speaker 13: it was widely panned, even via the left leaning media,
- 35:45Speaker 13: And she's doubling down on going after the grocery stores
- 35:48Speaker 13: that have one to two percent margins, and I find
- 35:50Speaker 13: that interesting.
- 35:52Speaker 3: It's bizarre, but I think she feels so that bulletproof
- 35:57Speaker 3: because so much of the press she's getting is overwhelmingly positive.
- 36:01Speaker 2: She's getting a lot more coverage than Trump at the moment,
- 36:05Speaker 2: so I think she's thinking the stats are in her
- 36:10Speaker 2: favor now.
- 36:11Speaker 3: While the Democrats and Kamala try to rewrite history with
- 36:15Speaker 3: the help of the media, Donald Trump is chatting with
- 36:17Speaker 3: a range of popular personalities, comics, podcasters, and one who
- 36:23Speaker 3: has an enormous following a very unique character is Theo
- 36:28Speaker 3: Vaughn and I'm going to say Kocha.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Their chat was fascinating. Listen to this exchange.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Between wild Child, THEO and Donald Trump, who has never
- 36:38Speaker 3: touched a drop of alcohol.
- 36:39Speaker 2: They're discussing here cocaine.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Well, no, I would just do cocaine. That was really yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 5: So yeah, that's down and dirty. Yeah, and this is yeah, this,
- 36:51Speaker 5: I mean it was, yeah, but you don't anymore. Now
- 36:53Speaker 5: I don't do it anymore, man, And I'm not doing
- 36:55Speaker 5: Is it too much? Too much to Some of the
- 36:57Speaker 5: stuff started to get a real rattle in it too.
- 36:59Speaker 5: I don't know where we were even getting it from
- 37:01Speaker 5: in this country. By it, yeah, it started to make
- 37:04Speaker 5: me feel like I was a mechanic or so. The
- 37:05Speaker 5: thing you go back to.
- 37:06Speaker 14: Then it's alcohol for the most part.
- 37:08Speaker 5: Right, yeah, but what I want probably is cocaine. But
- 37:11Speaker 5: I know that if I have a drink then it'll
- 37:13Speaker 5: give me. It'll like be like, Okay, well I had
- 37:15Speaker 5: a drink, then I can do this.
- 37:16Speaker 14: Is cocaine a stronger? Oh yep, yeah, yeah yeah, So
- 37:22Speaker 14: you're way up with cocaine more than anything else you
- 37:25Speaker 14: can think of.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Okain, I'll turn you into a damn our or homie,
- 37:27Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. It'll you'll be You'll be
- 37:30Speaker 5: out on your own porch. You know, you'll be your
- 37:32Speaker 5: own street lamp. You're freaking and is that a good feeling? Well,
- 37:36Speaker 5: it's a more miserable feeling, but you do it anyway,
- 37:38Speaker 5: just like the guy you're saying with the Scotch.
- 37:40Speaker 3: I would encourage you to watch. The whole thing is
- 37:43Speaker 3: just a fascinating discussion. They talked about all sorts of
- 37:46Speaker 3: other things, the economy, Harris, But I think we shouldn't
- 37:51Speaker 3: underestimate the power of those sorts of interactions, because the
- 37:56Speaker 3: reach these people have is enormous. Whether you're talking about
- 37:59Speaker 3: Joe or that Elon Musk chat he did last week,
- 38:03Speaker 3: or Theovonne, the millions and millions will say that it's
- 38:07Speaker 3: two things, reach and range that these conversations and formats
- 38:10Speaker 3: provide and it is tens of millions of people.
- 38:13Speaker 13: Theovon Aiden ross he did who was a streamer a
- 38:16Speaker 13: couple of weeks ago, and these are people the mainstream
- 38:18Speaker 13: consultants and advisors probably have no idea who they are.
- 38:22Speaker 13: And it's going after people that now are old enough
- 38:24Speaker 13: to vote. I don't know how many people from that
- 38:26Speaker 13: age group from their followership it will turn out, but
- 38:30Speaker 13: it could and an a raiser thin margin election. That's
- 38:33Speaker 13: really smart high ROI doesn't cost him too much time
- 38:36Speaker 13: or money to do these interviews, and you do see
- 38:39Speaker 13: the range of the discussion. To your point, it was
- 38:41Speaker 13: his conversational skills trumps are quite underrated because what makes
- 38:45Speaker 13: him a good conversationalist is empathy. People don't say that
- 38:48Speaker 13: about him, but you could see it their empathy and
- 38:49Speaker 13: curiosity where he's a complete.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Curiosity was k there, kay he And you see that
- 38:55Speaker 3: with some of the chats where he's having where you
- 39:00Speaker 3: really a surprise someone of his age and you know,
- 39:03Speaker 3: being a billionaire and being sort.
- 39:04Speaker 11: Of genuinely interested in what if he and that was
- 39:07Speaker 11: really unexpected.
- 39:09Speaker 3: I think in many it wasn't all judgment where you
- 39:11Speaker 3: would expect, particularly someone who's a non drinker, it would
- 39:15Speaker 3: be a bit more judgmental of that discussion and the
- 39:20Speaker 3: over one, I think a lot a lot of other
- 39:22Speaker 3: enormously successful and influential personality personalities like Joe Rogan, Ella Musk.
- 39:28Speaker 3: They were from the left, they were Democrats and they've
- 39:31Speaker 3: kind of been red pelled. And in this discussion they
- 39:35Speaker 3: did talk about Bernie Sanders and how the Democrats have
- 39:38Speaker 3: treated him.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Dude, I got so angry when they sidetracked Bernie a
- 39:41Speaker 5: few years ago. Or that wasn't fair to Bernie twice? Yeah,
- 39:45Speaker 5: you got to think about it. Yeah, oh it was crazy, yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 5: twenty sixteen, twenty two, he just got you know, it
- 39:49Speaker 5: just wasn't cool. Like whatever you think. It's just like
- 39:52Speaker 5: we have to be able to believe.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Do you like Bernie?
- 39:54Speaker 14: Is he Are you friends with him?
- 39:56Speaker 5: I'd met him the other day, I was the first time.
- 39:59Speaker 14: Were you rest by him? I?
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 40:02Speaker 14: One thing, he's so sharp, right, oh yeah. He doesn't
- 40:05Speaker 14: suffer from what Biden did. No, no, no, now mental dullness. Yeah, right, mentally.
- 40:13Speaker 3: And it's interesting because now that the Democrats have a
- 40:16Speaker 3: younger candidate, they're trying to paint Trump as having cognitive
- 40:20Speaker 3: decline and getting confused and not being physically mentally.
- 40:26Speaker 11: Fit for the job.
- 40:27Speaker 3: They've switched that up real quick. And he's significantly older
- 40:32Speaker 3: than Harris. Do you think that's going to be an
- 40:34Speaker 3: issue coming to the poll?
- 40:37Speaker 13: They're trying that because you're right, just based on the
- 40:40Speaker 13: sheer facts, there's a twenty year difference between them. But
- 40:42Speaker 13: I think everybody knows that not all eighty year olds
- 40:44Speaker 13: are alike, and even Bernie versus Biden or Trump versus Biden.
- 40:48Speaker 11: So I'm not sure how.
- 40:49Speaker 13: Much I'll make make a difference to the people that
- 40:51Speaker 13: ultimately come out, but it is a tactic that they're trying,
- 40:54Speaker 13: and I think the bigger difference it makes has taken
- 40:56Speaker 13: away one line of attack that the Trump campaign had,
- 40:59Speaker 13: and now he's prosecuting the keys in that clip over
- 41:02Speaker 13: there against Biden's age, and that's great. Do it, But
- 41:05Speaker 13: then I think pivot quickly to prosecuting the Kese Againstkhma.
- 41:08Speaker 3: And they can do it if she avoids interviews and
- 41:11Speaker 3: press conferences, because when she's off the script, she's as ditsy.
- 41:15Speaker 2: As they come. Koshagator, thank you so much for your time.
- 41:18Speaker 2: This evening still to come.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Hollywood's most unlikable couple announced their split and why are
- 41:25Speaker 3: Colombians I write about.
- 41:26Speaker 2: The cost of Harry and Meghan's tour.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Of the impoverished country, watching the Reader Panehy Show and
- 41:41Speaker 3: joining me now is Entertainment and royal reporter Kinsey Schofield
- 41:46Speaker 3: its official Kinsey Benefit is over again. Jennifer Lopez has
- 41:51Speaker 3: filed for divorce from Ben Affleck two years after they
- 41:54Speaker 3: were married and two decades after they were first engaged.
- 41:58Speaker 3: And the date she chose to follow those papers I
- 42:03Speaker 3: think made a bit of a statement.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:05Speaker 15: Absolutely, It was the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.
- 42:09Speaker 15: Page six reports that sources close to Jennifer Lopez says
- 42:13Speaker 15: she specifically filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. Rumors were
- 42:16Speaker 15: that he was prepared to do it to show that
- 42:19Speaker 15: she's a woman standing up on her own. Several outlets
- 42:22Speaker 15: have reported that Ben Affleck did not want to fix
- 42:25Speaker 15: this marriage despite her efforts, and Daily Mail quoted a
- 42:28Speaker 15: friend saying he was impossible to be married to. He
- 42:31Speaker 15: is selfish, sullen and negative. She was constantly trying to
- 42:35Speaker 15: lift his spirits, boost him up.
- 42:37Speaker 11: It was exhausting.
- 42:38Speaker 15: Eventually, the negativity was overwhelming, and after months of gossip
- 42:43Speaker 15: that Jen found humiliating, she went ahead and called it quits.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Well, yeah, we've been talking about this for months. It
- 42:51Speaker 3: seems like everyone's known this marriage was doomed.
- 42:55Speaker 2: I don't know. They both seem particularly unpleasant if you
- 42:58Speaker 2: ask me.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Now.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Few celebrities have been appearing at the Democratic National Convention.
- 43:05Speaker 3: We've had Oprah, Little John, Stevie Wonder. But in addition
- 43:09Speaker 3: to the celebrities, the DNCS credentialed more than two hundred
- 43:14Speaker 3: influences and content creators for the event. Some of the
- 43:18Speaker 3: traditional journalists are not happy about this. Some are whining
- 43:23Speaker 3: about the working conditions being terrible, then being sort of
- 43:28Speaker 3: relegated to the cheap seats.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Tell me about this.
- 43:33Speaker 3: Why are the Democrats replacing activist journalists with activist content creators?
- 43:39Speaker 15: I mean, the fast answer is desperation, But I mean,
- 43:43Speaker 15: anyone that watches Left is losing it knows why this
- 43:46Speaker 15: is such a risk. How much due diligence went into
- 43:49Speaker 15: researching the two hundred content creators invited? In prioritizing influencers
- 43:54Speaker 15: with no journalism background or guidelines feels hyper irresponsible White
- 44:00Speaker 15: House correspondents are shoved in a dark corner. Influencers are
- 44:03Speaker 15: running around taking selfies with high profile democrats, living their
- 44:07Speaker 15: best lives with no journalistic integrity. I mean, we used
- 44:11Speaker 15: to be the greatest country in the world and now
- 44:13Speaker 15: we're throwing hearties for Harris parties at the DNC. Jesus
- 44:17Speaker 15: take the wheel.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Well, I did I think it was Monday.
- 44:22Speaker 3: We looked at some of these influences, and the DNC
- 44:26Speaker 3: themselves their official account, they put out a list of
- 44:31Speaker 3: these influences that are going to be there, and some
- 44:34Speaker 3: of the ones that were promoting are just radically fringe, dwelling,
- 44:41Speaker 3: questionable characters. So they're lucky that they've got the media
- 44:45Speaker 3: on side, otherwise there might be a little bit of
- 44:47Speaker 3: scrutiny on this. Now let's switch to Harry and Meghan
- 44:51Speaker 3: and the tour of poverty stricken Columbia. Politicians have been
- 44:55Speaker 3: left furious at the cost of this quasi royal tur
- 45:00Speaker 3: you are. Harry and Meghan have spent millions on security alone,
- 45:04Speaker 3: seven hundred thousand dollars a day on heavily police soldiers, helicopters,
- 45:10Speaker 3: and the Colombian politician Andreas Escobar has accused the vice
- 45:15Speaker 3: president there, who invited the Sussexes, of squandering public money
- 45:20Speaker 3: on vanity. Goodness, may this tour again questionable?
- 45:25Speaker 2: What are they doing? They're not working royals? What are
- 45:28Speaker 2: they doing touring in poverished countries? Kinsey?
- 45:32Speaker 15: I mean he also said taxes were spent on rich
- 45:35Speaker 15: white people for photo opportunities in social media.
- 45:38Speaker 11: And really he's not.
- 45:39Speaker 15: Don't tell Megan that exactly. Yeah, she doesn't, but you
- 45:44Speaker 15: would not like that. But it does feel like it's
- 45:47Speaker 15: all just a PR stunt. Columbia provided a fourteen car
- 45:50Speaker 15: convoy and ballistic briefcase to shield them from bullets. The
- 45:54Speaker 15: Daily Mail reported that three thousand police followed the couple's
- 45:57Speaker 15: every move quote despite barely anyone turning up to see them,
- 46:02Speaker 15: and most locals had no idea who they were. One
- 46:04Speaker 15: individual hired to perform for them she was a singer,
- 46:07Speaker 15: asked one of the reporters, who is Megan? This was
- 46:11Speaker 15: clearly the VP in Columbia and the Sussex is trying
- 46:15Speaker 15: to put themselves on the map. And what a waste
- 46:17Speaker 15: of resources.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Oh?
- 46:21Speaker 3: Absolutely, And you've got a question the Sussex's judgment in
- 46:27Speaker 3: doing these tours. I know it keeps them in the
- 46:29Speaker 3: papers in America and the UK, and somehow that's what
- 46:34Speaker 3: they want. Despite telling us they were leaving the Royals
- 46:37Speaker 3: to have this private life and not be under media scrutiny,
- 46:41Speaker 3: they seem to be doing everything in their power to
- 46:44Speaker 3: be in the media, to be getting coverage. What good
- 46:48Speaker 3: came out of this tour, I don't know. But while
- 46:51Speaker 3: we're talking about their tour of Columbia, Meghan told a
- 46:56Speaker 3: panel discussion titled Afro Descendant Women and Power Voice of
- 47:01Speaker 3: Equity that her daughter has found her voice, and she's
- 47:06Speaker 3: found her voice as an empowered woman of color.
- 47:10Speaker 2: She's a straight kinsey.
- 47:13Speaker 15: Well find me a three year old that hasn't found
- 47:15Speaker 15: their voice screaming their heads off on the playground. But
- 47:19Speaker 15: I found this one of the references as she was
- 47:22Speaker 15: leading into this. I found it almost a slight to
- 47:26Speaker 15: the Royal family. She said, I know how it feels
- 47:28Speaker 15: when you don't utilize your voice when you need to
- 47:30Speaker 15: be heard or have something to say. Think back to
- 47:33Speaker 15: that Oprah Winfrey quote silent or silenced, you know, So
- 47:38Speaker 15: it's almost like she's bringing that up again. Meanwhile, every
- 47:40Speaker 15: time she does open her mouth. It's the same unverifiable story.
- 47:44Speaker 15: We hear you loud and clear, Megan, you hated Procter
- 47:47Speaker 15: and Gamble's dish soap commercials because assuming women spend a
- 47:51Speaker 15: significant amount of time in the kitchen is sexist. Now
- 47:54Speaker 15: tell us all about your new cooking show. Does it
- 47:57Speaker 15: take place in a kitchen? The hypocrisy astounds.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 48:03Speaker 3: She's just desperately looking for victimhood wherever she can find her.
- 48:08Speaker 3: KINSI Scofield, thank you so much for your time this evening,
- 48:11Speaker 3: and that's it from me. Up next is Newsnight. I'll
- 48:14Speaker 3: see you tomorrow. At nine point thirty four left. He's
- 48:18Speaker 3: losing it.
