- 0:08Speaker 1: you need some answers. You call us, We get the answers.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We have got Seth on the line. Who's getting ghosted?
- 0:13Speaker 2: Good morning, Seth, Good morning.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I hope we can help you out. Obviously,
- 0:18Speaker 1: you know what second date Update is all about. Tell
- 0:21Speaker 1: us about this first date you went on that was
- 0:23Speaker 1: so great.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Oh god, he was so wonderful, he said. He picked
- 0:30Speaker 3: me up. Okay, in his he had like a like
- 0:35Speaker 3: a Rolls Royce, which like I had only heard about
- 0:38Speaker 3: and never.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Actually what, oh my.
- 0:41Speaker 3: God, yeah, like I had never seen one in person.
- 0:46Speaker 3: But yeah, he opened the door for me and it
- 0:50Speaker 3: was yeah he was. He was. He was like a
- 0:54Speaker 3: prince charming. And so he took me to this to
- 0:58Speaker 3: this country club and yeah, I had to get all
- 1:01Speaker 3: dressed up for dates, which is really nice.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I love this.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and yeah, he he took me, took me to
- 1:12Speaker 3: this restaurant at the country club where everybody knew him.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Like the moment he walked in, everyone was like, oh, yeah,
- 1:19Speaker 3: it's nice. I have never I have never seen how
- 1:23Speaker 3: the other half lives. And it was insane. And he
- 1:27Speaker 3: tells me to order anything I want off the menu,
- 1:30Speaker 3: and he was making eye contact and just like looking
- 1:34Speaker 3: into my eyes and he told me how beautiful my
- 1:37Speaker 3: eyes were. And okay, I mean he would like occasionally
- 1:42Speaker 3: like just touch my hand across the table. I all right,
- 1:49Speaker 3: it was so romantic.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Okay, here's the deal. The producer says, the guy you
- 1:52Speaker 1: went on the day with his name is William, and
- 1:55Speaker 1: I also have in my notes that you reached out
- 1:57Speaker 1: to him. So what did you do? Text him or
- 1:59Speaker 1: call him in and he never responded?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, well, first I texted him, okay, to say just
- 2:06Speaker 3: to thank him. I had never I had never been
- 2:08Speaker 3: taken on a date like that where someone paid for everything,
- 2:14Speaker 3: spoil and saying that I would love to see him again,
- 2:19Speaker 3: that he doesn't have to be his fancy for whatever
- 2:23Speaker 3: date we go on next. I just I just really
- 2:25Speaker 3: enjoy his company.
- 2:27Speaker 1: All right, let's get some answers. I want to know
- 2:28Speaker 1: for you because maybe it's just a little miscommunication, because
- 2:31Speaker 1: I love this for you. It sounds like the best
- 2:32Speaker 1: date ever. So here's what we're gonna do. You're gonna
- 2:34Speaker 1: be on hold. I'm gonna call William and I'm just
- 2:36Speaker 1: gonna ask him to be honest and ask him why
- 2:38Speaker 1: he's ghosting you. Are you ready for answers?
- 2:42Speaker 3: I think so. Yes.
- 2:45Speaker 1: He doesn't talk a lot, so maybe it was just
- 2:47Speaker 1: too much talking for William. Maybe you know, that's the
- 2:50Speaker 1: only thing I could think of. I mean, after a
- 2:52Speaker 1: date like that, i'd be gushing too. That's crazy. Rolls Royce,
- 2:57Speaker 1: Where do you ever see those? In Connecticut? Do they
- 2:58Speaker 1: still make them? Hi's William?
- 3:00Speaker 2: There?
- 3:01Speaker 1: He Hi William. It is Courtney. Hey will it's Walmart chef.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Hey William, it's Savannah. We're calling from Kiss ninety five
- 3:08Speaker 1: to seven. You're on the radio.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Oh okay, hello, walking to the show.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yes, William, I have to tell you you're on Second
- 3:17Speaker 1: Date Update. So if you listen to the show, it's
- 3:20Speaker 1: actually a feature we do. If you go on a
- 3:22Speaker 1: first date and it's fabulous, but you get ghosted, call
- 3:26Speaker 1: us and we get the answers. So we're calling you.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You're on second Date Update. Okay, all right, So I
- 3:34Speaker 1: will be honest with you, and I want you to
- 3:35Speaker 1: be honest with us. Seth called us, he's oh, I see,
- 3:40Speaker 1: he said you took him on a date that was magical.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You picked him up in a Rolls Royce, you brought
- 3:45Speaker 1: him to the country club, You had a great meal,
- 3:48Speaker 1: good conversation. He said. There was flirting going on, like
- 3:52Speaker 1: obvious flirting. He really wants to see you again, but
- 3:55Speaker 1: you have not responded to his messages.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Yes, so we did have a good time, that's for sure. Okay, Well,
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know, I there's a big problem though for me.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Okay, what to tell us? The problem?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Then? He is obsessed with these two little dogs that
- 4:16Speaker 2: he has. Okay, and I have dated men in the
- 4:19Speaker 2: past've had dogs, and you know, it just doesn't fit
- 4:24Speaker 2: my lifestyle. I like to be able to, like, on
- 4:27Speaker 2: a moment's notice, just get up and go and hop
- 4:29Speaker 2: on a plane to the Bahamas or you know, go
- 4:33Speaker 2: out to California. When you've got dogs, you can't do
- 4:36Speaker 2: stuff like that. You've got to like arrange for dog
- 4:40Speaker 2: sitters or you know, who's going to take care of
- 4:41Speaker 2: the dogs, and what are they gonna do with their dog?
- 4:44Speaker 2: You know, And it's just too much.
- 4:46Speaker 1: For me, William. So what you're telling me is you're
- 4:50Speaker 1: ghosting Seth because of his dogs. Seth is on the line.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Are you hearing this, Seth?
- 4:54Speaker 3: Oh hello, Oh my god, I Lucinda and fists are
- 5:01Speaker 3: that big of an issue for you?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't like dogs.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You know. I've dated men in the past that had dogs,
- 5:13Speaker 2: and it's always, uh, it just doesn't fit my lifestyle.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I'm sorry, how would they be impeding your lifestyle? I
- 5:21Speaker 3: carried them around. They are well behaved dogs.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They or my baby, Seth, your dogs are small enough
- 5:27Speaker 1: for you to like bring places and carry around.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Oh for sure. I take them with me everywhere. They're
- 5:31Speaker 3: little malteses.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Okay, so still an o for you, William.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just, you know, it's just too much becomes
- 5:40Speaker 2: more about the dogs and about the person, and you know,
- 5:43Speaker 2: it's just not something I really want to want to
- 5:45Speaker 2: get involved in.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I think you're just not a big fan of having
- 5:50Speaker 1: like Seth pay more attention to the dogs than you.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Is that it?
- 5:54Speaker 2: I mean that could certainly be it. You look at
- 5:57Speaker 2: how he talks about them, you know.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Yeah, well, they've been in my life for a longer
- 6:03Speaker 3: time than you like. They're my babies. Of course, I'm
- 6:06Speaker 3: gonna well good.
- 6:07Speaker 2: They have your life with your babies. But you know
- 6:10Speaker 2: that's something I want to have. I want to be
- 6:12Speaker 2: a part of Seth.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Can I just can I just ask a question. You're
- 6:16Speaker 1: willing to give up rolls, royces and country clubs for
- 6:18Speaker 1: two little dogs?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yes? Oh sorry, yeah, they're my babies. I don't think
- 6:25Speaker 3: I can go out with someone who doesn't understand. I mean,
- 6:27Speaker 3: he's wow, someone who's clearly incapable of wanting to love
- 6:31Speaker 3: someone else like I just.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh, gim me you freaking break, Come on, Okay, I
- 6:36Speaker 2: just don't like dogs, you know, all right.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't want to get into this like yelling match
- 6:41Speaker 1: or anything. It's not a great fit. The two of
- 6:43Speaker 1: you are just a little too different, you know. And
- 6:46Speaker 1: I think you're right, William. You looked up and go
- 6:48Speaker 1: and jet set and that's what you need in Seth.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You need somebody who loves dogs.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Like you do.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So it's just not a great match. And I and
- 6:54Speaker 1: I hope you and I'm glad you got your answers.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, me too.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh well, give I think it was Sindo and Rufous
- 7:00Speaker 1: give them little kisses for us.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Squishes, Oh I will I will for sure.
- 7:05Speaker 1: All right. And you guys, good luck with everything and
- 7:07Speaker 1: keep us posted, you know, if you find that dog
- 7:09Speaker 1: lover Seth or somebody to travel the world with. William.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Okay, well, hopefully hopefully I won't need to call again.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope not to. Well you guys, thank you
- 7:20Speaker 1: so much for being on a second date.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Update all right, I have a good one.
