• 3:15
Speaker 4: little Jamie. You want to I heard you tell him
• 3:18
Speaker 4: the story upstairs to Steve Annibal. But early he comes
• 3:20
Speaker 4: in and he's all bandaged up? Was that a was that?
• 3:22
Speaker 4: Was that a hazard? At that Scared View?
• 3:24
Speaker 7: Get lock up hazard from the school?
• 3:26
  Speaker 4: Okay, what happened?
• 3:28
Speaker 5: I just had a little entangled with some glass.
• 3:31
Speaker 4: And the glass one. It's kind of like the old
• 3:33
Speaker 4: Bobby Fuller Forest song. I fought the law and the
• 3:36
Speaker 4: law one. Uh So before I forget, I want to
• 3:39
Speaker 4: tell everybody where's Scared View? The haunted school is? Where's
• 3:42
Speaker 4: it located? Down or Jamie either.
• 3:44
Speaker 5: One, one or nine High Street, Saint Albans, West Virginia.
• 3:47
Speaker 4: Okay, all right, and it is a haunted school? Right? Yes?
• 3:51
Speaker 4: All right? Uh so how's it been going? So far?
• 3:52
Speaker 4: Gast so far, so good? We're rolling all right?
• 3:56
Speaker 6: That several thousand people roll through already the first three weekends.
• 3:59
Speaker 4: Now, we were there live the Mountain, their sister station
• 4:01
Speaker 4: nine eight seven A Mountain Wild, wonderful classic rock was
• 4:04
Speaker 4: there on Friday night and Steve did a little video
• 4:06
Speaker 4: and he uh he uh and I shared it on
• 4:08
Speaker 4: the Mountain social media page. Uh didn't go inside though,
• 4:10
Speaker 4: because I don't guess you allow that, right, no videos
• 4:12
Speaker 4: on the inside, try not to Yeah, well I can
• 4:15
Speaker 4: so I know you don't want to give away too
• 4:17
Speaker 4: much here, guys, but what has been the big hit
• 4:20
Speaker 4: this year other than Jamie going through glass?
• 4:23
  Speaker 7: Price?
• 4:24
Speaker 4: The price? Why is the price the beg hit?
• 4:26
Speaker 5: You got more bang for your buck?
• 4:27
Speaker 4: Okay, you explained the.
• 4:29
Speaker 5: Whole family for under a hundred bucks. Okay, house this
• 4:32
Speaker 5: room for right here, couldn't go to other places and
• 4:34
Speaker 5: get in for a hundred bucks just with the four
• 4:36
  Speaker 5: of us.
• 4:37
Speaker 4: How long does it normally take to go through.
• 4:40
Speaker 5: Scarab pins like we've tied up just walking through? It
• 4:43
Speaker 5: was twenty minutes, twenty five minutes animal time to the
• 4:47
Speaker 5: other night and he was waiting for like forty minutes,
• 4:50
  Speaker 5: fifty minutes.
• 4:51
Speaker 4: Okay, I've been talking about the time inside the haunted house. Okay,
• 4:54
Speaker 4: that's what it is. So I guess it varies how
• 4:56
Speaker 4: it how it right? How fast you walk groups? Yeah,
• 4:59
Speaker 4: I'll be obviously is there a certain size group? I
• 5:02
Speaker 4: because you don't want to. I know, you get groups,
• 5:04
Speaker 4: You get buses that come in from all over, but
• 5:06
Speaker 4: you take them inte what size eight to ten? Eight
• 5:08
Speaker 4: to ten? And why eight to ten? What's the what's
• 5:11
Speaker 4: the secret of the number there?
• 5:12
Speaker 5: You just you want everybody to get scare.
• 5:15
  Speaker 4: Uh huh.
• 5:17
Speaker 5: If you've got more than ten people, the guys in
• 5:20
Speaker 5: the back don't get anything.
• 5:21
Speaker 4: Yeah, like looking at I Candy, Well I could see
• 5:24
Speaker 4: that too, because again and then it's harder to control
• 5:27
Speaker 4: because you have people talking among themselves and whatever. So
• 5:30
Speaker 4: you try to keep it at eight to ten. And
• 5:32
Speaker 4: what is the price again to get.
• 5:34
Speaker 5: In ten with non parish or canned foods and twelve without?
• 5:37
Speaker 4: And I want to talk about because you guys wanted
• 5:39
Speaker 4: and you always do this every year, Dona Jamie, and
• 5:41
Speaker 4: again we're talking with Donna Jamie's scare view.
• 5:43
  Speaker 8: Uh.
• 5:44
Speaker 4: You guys always employ some sort of a of a
• 5:48
Speaker 4: charitable aspect, and that's what you've done this time around.
• 5:51
Speaker 6: Yeah, all the can food is collective. What always goes
• 5:54
Speaker 6: to different food banks and churches around the area. Jamie,
• 5:58
Speaker 6: tell you more, you know, it's more about.
• 5:59
  Speaker 4: Them, it's all.
• 6:00
Speaker 5: It all benefits the community of Saint Albans all that area,
• 6:03
Speaker 5: Coal River Road, Browns Creek, that area. It's all for
• 6:06
Speaker 5: the West Side Volunteer Fire Department. Okay, they take can food.
• 6:09
Speaker 5: It goes to Christ's Kitchens and a couple of other
• 6:13
Speaker 5: churches right there in the area. Lower Falls church fills
• 6:17
Speaker 5: up their food pantries for Thanksgiving Christmas.
• 6:19
  Speaker 4: So that's all.
• 6:21
Speaker 5: The proceeds go to the volunteer fire department for training

• 7:17
  Speaker 5: you can bring however much it's a I don't know

Speaker 7: Well, this is a lot better than what I thought

• 11:29
Speaker 7: I thought this is not your permanent digs.
• 11:32
Speaker 4: No, No, they've both started on this.
• 11:33
Speaker 7: I thought this was going to be we were all
• 11:34
Speaker 7: going to be standing up, you know, like when I
• 11:37
Speaker 7: when I cut promos and commercials for people. I thought
• 11:43
Speaker 7: that's what it's going to be like.
• 11:44
Speaker 4: No, now it's no, this is pretty nice.
• 11:47
Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean it's not. Well, okay, well come on, Danny,
• 11:53
  Speaker 7: really kind of.
• 11:57

• 12:00
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 12:00
Speaker 4: I can't wait for Tony Hodge to see this. So
• 12:03
Speaker 4: I'm gonna ask you. Because you're an old radio guy.
• 12:06
Speaker 4: As I'm an old radio guy, we have in the
• 12:09
Speaker 4: past probably worked in some less than stellar conditions. I
• 12:11
Speaker 4: don't necessarily mean here, but do you have a store
• 12:14
Speaker 4: horror story on the area. I'll tell us about something
• 12:16
Speaker 4: that didn't work right or.
• 12:17
Speaker 7: Whatell in ninety two when they these folks took this
• 12:22
Speaker 7: place over. See, I was in the arch More faction
• 12:25
Speaker 7: of the party, and the people that took it over
• 12:28
Speaker 7: were not. So the four personalities and that WUE include
• 12:33
Speaker 7: Dickens sheets and I'll say they me and another guy,
• 12:36
Speaker 7: we're out. So and the only reason Don Cook's job
• 12:42
Speaker 7: was safe because he was on the raid road doing baseball.
• 12:46
Speaker 7: Because they got so much bad feedback when they fired us.
• 12:49
Speaker 7: And I learned, and I don't take any of it
• 12:53
Speaker 7: personal because that's radio. That's just the way things work.
• 12:56
Speaker 7: You know. You don't get the you don't get rid
• 12:58
Speaker 7: of a personality and let him get go on the
• 13:00
Speaker 7: air and say, hey, they're firing me, do something about it.
• 13:03
Speaker 7: That's not the way it works. But I went up
• 13:05
Speaker 7: to Bristol, and uh they they weren't even know I'm coming.
• 13:10
Speaker 7: So the morning I started, they gave me a thing
• 13:14
Speaker 7: to sit at by myself, taking calls alone, potting up
• 13:17
Speaker 7: my own stuff. I had no idea what I was doing.
• 13:19
Speaker 7: And I was like me this morning, I was in
• 13:22
Speaker 7: my Yeah, but you're a professional, but yeah, well that's
• 13:25
  Speaker 7: I was a barbecue man, I was. I was down
• 13:29
Speaker 7: there making Danny's barbecue in the place and go Nightroe,
• 13:32
  Speaker 7: West Virginia.
• 13:34
Speaker 4: I mean, we've all got stories though. I mean I, oh, yeah,
• 13:37
Speaker 4: I worked at one particular company. Uh we got yeah,
• 13:40
Speaker 4: I bet you do, Danny q min As The Family Show.
• 13:43
Speaker 4: I worked at one particular place that had an issue
• 13:46
Speaker 4: with sewage in the basement. And when I say it
• 13:49
Speaker 4: had an issue with sewage, I'm not talking about a note.
• 13:51
Speaker 4: I'm talking about actually raw sewage that was running through
• 13:54
Speaker 4: the basement. And they asked me, they said, do you
• 13:56
Speaker 4: care to go douse and stop right there? You're not
• 13:58
Speaker 4: paying me enough to go down We'll call professionals in here.
• 14:01
Speaker 4: You're not paying me enough to go down there. But
• 14:03
Speaker 4: to Danny, I do appreciate you join us. I do
• 14:05
Speaker 4: want to mention too that you and I are going
• 14:06
Speaker 4: to be anchoring the w c HS coverage of election night.
• 14:10
Speaker 4: Of course, everyone's going to be watching the race for
• 14:11
Speaker 4: the White House, but there are some races worth watching
• 14:14
Speaker 4: here locally, some house races, legislative races will be keeping
• 14:17
Speaker 4: an eye on. And I think this battle for the
• 14:19
Speaker 4: County Commission between Chris Walters and Natalie Tennant Danny, I
• 14:22
Speaker 4: think it's shipping up pretty nicely, as is the race
• 14:24
Speaker 4: for Prosecutor between Dev Brusny and John Mitchell.
• 14:27
Speaker 7: I don't know what to think about this commission race
• 14:32
Speaker 7: because I listened to you and Senator Greitar and you
• 14:37
Speaker 7: said that kenaw County gone red for real?
• 14:41
Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, A boy a lot. Well, Tony's in here, Tony,
• 14:46
Speaker 4: do you have the numbers, Tony?
• 14:47
Speaker 8: Hug. It's close right now, but it's definitely gone red. Yeah,
• 14:50
  Speaker 8: we're we're ahead now.
• 14:51
Speaker 4: Yeah, Republicans are ahead in Kanawha County and Kanah and Clay.
• 14:55
Speaker 4: I think was the most recent one. I think is
• 14:57
  Speaker 4: that right?
• 14:57
Speaker 7: Ton Well, let me tell you when I ran for share.
• 15:00
Speaker 7: Were you born in eighty four? I was a baby,
• 15:04
Speaker 7: all right, so I was I was raised, I was
• 15:07
Speaker 7: born in I ran in eighty four and it was
• 15:11
Speaker 7: two to one Democrat.
• 15:12
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 15:13
Speaker 7: And Governor Moore told me after I won the primary,
• 15:16
Speaker 7: he says, now you make your fight inside the Democrat party.
• 15:19
Speaker 7: He said, forget. Forget. You can go have lunch with
• 15:23
Speaker 7: them if you want, but that's not where your fight is.
• 15:25
Speaker 7: So and he said, South Hills is your Cabin Creek,
• 15:28
Speaker 7: because Cavin Creek had a lot of people living in it. Then,
• 15:30
Speaker 7: so I canvassed every house on South Hills, personally left notes,
• 15:37
Speaker 7: called them back on their machines, and I walked off
• 15:40
Speaker 7: that hill with twenty five hundred votes and won the
• 15:42
Speaker 7: election by eleven thousand in Kenall County. And I was sure.
• 15:49
Speaker 4: That was your And how many terms did you service?
• 15:51
  Speaker 7: Your one term?
• 15:52
  Speaker 4: One term?
• 15:52
Speaker 7: Then I went to the House and there was twenty
• 15:54
Speaker 7: four candidates running for twelve seats, and the Republicans were
• 15:59
Speaker 7: all mad because I didn't to their meetings. I said, well,
• 16:01
Speaker 7: I'll probably get beach. You know, I'm only spending five
• 16:03
Speaker 7: thousand dollars out of twenty four candidates. I came at first,
• 16:09
Speaker 7: what do you make of this race for the prosecutor
• 16:13
Speaker 7: because we had kind of an ugly primary. Well, I'm
• 16:16
Speaker 7: biased Okay, okay, because.
• 16:18
Speaker 4: I'm don't tell me that because then you won't be
• 16:19
Speaker 4: able to do election coverage.
• 16:20
Speaker 7: Well, I mean, I mean, I got to say I've contributed,
• 16:25
Speaker 7: but I've known John Mitchell and his father all my life.
• 16:28
Speaker 7: But I've contributed to deb and it's not personal. I
• 16:33
Speaker 7: think it's going to be a tough race. I mean,
• 16:37
Speaker 7: but Dev's been out there and she's got a profile,
• 16:41
Speaker 7: and she's on TV now because she is the incumbent,
• 16:43
Speaker 7: So I don't know where that leaves. John has been
• 16:46
Speaker 7: elected and he was a state senator for four years,
• 16:50
Speaker 7: so he has won when Democrats were winning, and maybe
• 16:53
Speaker 7: he can do it again.
• 16:55
Speaker 4: Well, and I do think that it's it's rather interesting
• 16:57
Speaker 4: because and maybe you have a different story, Danny, But
• 17:01
  Speaker 4: I don't remember at a time when I saw a
• 17:03
Speaker 4: county prosecutor doing television ads. And miss Roussnik is doing
• 17:07
Speaker 4: television as in they're airing quite frequently on the local channels,
• 17:10
Speaker 4: and nothing wrong with it. I just don't remember that
• 17:12
Speaker 4: I've ever seen that much of an interest in a
• 17:13
Speaker 4: county prosecutors race. But it is the biggest, you know,
• 17:17
Speaker 4: the biggest office in the biggest county in West Virginia.
• 17:19
  Speaker 4: I understand that.
• 17:20
Speaker 7: Charlie King did him Bill Broadway, Bill Forbes. I think
• 17:23
Speaker 7: he did him, you know, but that's when the Democrats
• 17:26
  Speaker 7: were running things.
• 17:27
Speaker 4: Talking again with Danny Jones. Tony Hodge will be coming
• 17:30
Speaker 4: up a little bit later on the Dave Island showing
• 17:31
Speaker 4: five Indy Live, brought to you in part by Live
• 17:33
Speaker 4: Healthy West Virginia, presented by WVU Medicine. Live Healthy Tackling

• 17:40
Speaker 4: breakthrough some preventative care featuring WVU Medicines expert physicians aimed
• 17:44
Speaker 4: at fostering healthier lifestyles. It's a really cool resource to have.

Speaker 4: Check out the latest episodes on wv metronews dot com.
• 17:51
Speaker 4: All right, so come November of the fifth, eight nine
• 17:55
Speaker 4: o'clock or whatever, will you be surprised if we're not
• 17:58
Speaker 4: calling Patrick Morrissey, the governor elect, and Jim Justice, the
• 18:01
Speaker 4: Senator elect for West Virginia.
• 18:03
Speaker 7: I'm not going to say how it'll be called, but
• 18:05
Speaker 7: it'll be called by seven thirty.
• 18:07
Speaker 4: By seven thirty, yeah, yeah.
• 18:09
Speaker 7: I remember when Arch got beat. It was ten after
• 18:11
Speaker 7: seven in nineteen eighty eight when Gaston beat Arch it
• 18:16
Speaker 7: was ten after seven the national and I was heartbroken.
• 18:20
Speaker 7: And that was even though I became gusting. I was
• 18:24
Speaker 7: what we had seven Republicans out of twenty that were
• 18:26
Speaker 7: trying to help Gaston, and I was one of them.
• 18:29
  Speaker 7: And he's a good friend of mine. He's a good
• 18:30
Speaker 7: friend of mine today. But I was for Arch and uh.
• 18:33
Speaker 4: And it's interesting that they were able to call it
• 18:35
Speaker 4: that early, because it's not we didn't have the election
• 18:38
Speaker 4: reporting systems in place that we have now, and you know,
• 18:41
Speaker 4: a Metro news was obviously, you know, not a thing
• 18:43
Speaker 4: at that point. And I know that the Secretary of
• 18:45
Speaker 4: State's office didn't have the what they call the election
• 18:47
Speaker 4: night reporting, I mean, did to have it called that early,
• 18:50
Speaker 4: then that would be that would be a kin to
• 18:52
Speaker 4: having it called like it's at seven thirty five.
• 18:55
Speaker 7: You've had now you had select first thing, it was
• 18:57
Speaker 7: Arch got forty one percent vote, but you had precincts
• 19:00
Speaker 7: in this county. The one that could you could call
• 19:04
Speaker 7: the whole county was on the west side and it
• 19:06
Speaker 7: was Robin's Elementary, which doesn't even exist anymore, and you
• 19:10
Speaker 7: could you could gauge the whole county by that particular
• 19:13
Speaker 7: precincts and the national folks. And I'll tell you who's
• 19:16
Speaker 7: good at this. The New York Times is good at it,
• 19:18
Speaker 7: and Fox News is good at it. They they they
• 19:21
Speaker 7: have a room that Brett Bahar and the rest of
• 19:23
Speaker 7: them aren't even loud in, you know. And and that's
• 19:27
Speaker 7: what got what's his name fired, star Warcks mouthpiece over
• 19:31
Speaker 7: here and he star Wars Yeah, and he because he
• 19:37
Speaker 7: was involved with that and he got out. He was
• 19:39
Speaker 7: a little bit cocky when he said that Trump lost
• 19:42
Speaker 7: Arizona and that cost him his job.
• 19:44
Speaker 4: Talking with former Charles and maryor Danny Jones while we're
• 19:46
Speaker 4: talking about to national, what are you what are you
• 19:49
Speaker 4: hearing right now? Danny? What do you think is going
• 19:50
Speaker 4: to happen in the presidential race?
• 19:53
Speaker 7: It's the first time in my life I can't tell.
• 19:55
Speaker 4: Really Newpoleon was there was a new Poleon. I think
• 19:58
Speaker 4: from ABC News and Axos that orispus I should say
• 20:02
Speaker 4: that I'm not pronouncing that right. But anyway, fifty to
• 20:05
Speaker 4: forty eight, it means nothing. And that's doesn't mean well
• 20:08
Speaker 4: within the margin of error there anyway.
• 20:10
Speaker 7: That's also you've got the down vote with Trump, it
• 20:13
Speaker 7: means nothing. And he's showing more strength. I said, I was,
• 20:17
Speaker 7: you know, the big expert here. Don't look at Michigan. No,
• 20:19
Speaker 7: and we'll look at Wisconsin. Well, guess what, look at
• 20:21
Speaker 7: Michigan and look at Wisconsin because they're not going to play.
• 20:24
Speaker 7: But he has to win. And you remember this, Tony Hodge.
• 20:28
Speaker 7: He has to win if Trump wants to win this election, Arizona, Pennsylvania,
• 20:34
Speaker 7: North Carolina, and Georgia. If he does, I predict to win.
• 20:39
Speaker 7: But Pennsylvania is going to be really tough because and
• 20:42
Speaker 7: he the one thing, there's two people that have a
• 20:45
Speaker 7: lot of influence in the Trump camp, and it's Addison,
• 20:53
Speaker 7: the wife of the late Los Angeles or Las Vegas
• 20:57
Speaker 7: sands guy, and Twitter what's his name? Elon Musk is
• 21:04
Speaker 7: spitting forty five million a month into get out the
• 21:07
Speaker 7: vote because Republicans aren't good at that. They're not as good.
• 21:10
Speaker 7: I mean, these Democrats, they've got it down. They know
• 21:13
Speaker 7: how to vote, artists, they know how to do everything.
• 21:15
Speaker 7: Every day they accuse of the Republicans of being illegal
• 21:19
  Speaker 7: they do.
• 21:21
Speaker 4: Let me run something by you here, Danny, and here's
• 21:23
Speaker 4: what wearies me most about the White House race. According
• 21:25
Speaker 4: to the polls, as I said, the race is so close,
• 21:28
Speaker 4: and unless Trump is completely blown out, which I don't
• 21:31
Speaker 4: think is going to happen. I fear that if Kamala
• 21:35
Speaker 4: Harris is declared the winner, we may have some things
• 21:38
Speaker 4: going on that may look make January sixth look like
• 21:41
  Speaker 4: a church picnic.
• 21:42
Speaker 7: I think it'll be the other way around if Trump
• 21:44
Speaker 7: gets selected. I think you'll have rights in the streets.
• 21:47
Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not saying it can't happen, but I mean,
• 21:51
Speaker 4: you know it was.
• 21:52
Speaker 7: He doesn't have a throne. He doesn't have a throne now.
• 21:55
Speaker 4: But he's got but he's got a And please hear
• 21:57
Speaker 4: me out on this. I'm not saying everybody that votes
• 21:59
Speaker 4: or or supports Donald Trump as in a cult. I
• 22:02
Speaker 4: don't believe that. But he does have a lot of
• 22:04
  Speaker 4: cult like followers.
• 22:06
  Speaker 7: Yeah.
• 22:06
Speaker 4: Uh, and and look what they did on January the sixth,
• 22:09
Speaker 4: And if it comes down to this race, I'm not
• 22:11
Speaker 4: saying And again please don't hit me up on the
• 22:14
Speaker 4: text here and say that I'm saying all the people
• 22:15
Speaker 4: that are going to vote for Trump or and a cult,
• 22:17
Speaker 4: I'm not. I am just saying that it does worry
• 22:21
Speaker 4: me that they are not going, especially when their leader
• 22:23
Speaker 4: is pretty much saying that the only way. He said that,
• 22:27
Speaker 4: the only way that Harris beats me is by cheating.
• 22:31
Speaker 7: He said that, well what he expected to say. I mean,
• 22:34
Speaker 7: it's just that's his stick. But he he will have
• 22:40
Speaker 7: a tough he will have a tough time. And if
• 22:43
Speaker 7: he if he doesn't get elected, oh, he'll squaw and
• 22:46
Speaker 7: they'll go to They'll go to uh, they'll go to court.
• 22:49
Speaker 7: But remember if the if the Republicans lose the House
• 22:52
Speaker 7: of Representatives, which I'm predicting they will, you can't act
• 22:56
Speaker 7: like that. You can't act like Matt Getz and Marjorie
• 22:59
Speaker 7: and Taylor Green and put those out, Nancy Mason, put
• 23:02
Speaker 7: those people out of the faces of your party and
• 23:04
Speaker 7: expect them to to That's who you want as your leaders. Now.
• 23:08
Speaker 7: The Senate's totally different. The Senate I think got a
• 23:12
Speaker 7: good shot at being fifty one fifty two Republicans. You agree,
• 23:16
Speaker 7: I agree, yeah, and uh, and I'd like to see
• 23:22
Speaker 7: I mean, Ohio, and I don't know how that Montana
• 23:26
Speaker 7: stays Democrat. I just I don't get it. And what
• 23:29
Speaker 7: they expect to happen if you keep electing those those folks.
• 23:33
Speaker 7: But it's because it's such a Trump state, you know.
• 23:39
Speaker 7: And uh, but I think it's going to be a
• 23:42
Speaker 7: very tough race. I'm not as worried about that as
• 23:44
Speaker 7: you are, David. And it's not a cult, it's a religion.
• 23:48
Speaker 7: It's an act of faith. In other words, when you
• 23:50
Speaker 7: believe something, you're shown incontrovertible facts that this and this
• 23:56
Speaker 7: and this are true, and you chose to come over
• 23:58
Speaker 7: here and believe something else. That's not a cult. That's
• 24:01
Speaker 7: a religion. In other words, it's an act of faith.
• 24:03
Speaker 7: With President Trump, they believe in him if he says it.
• 24:07
Speaker 7: I had a friend of mine, real good friend of mine,
• 24:09
Speaker 7: not a college ed, a college boy, and he said
• 24:12
Speaker 7: to me, he said, he said, well, Trump says, you're
• 24:15
Speaker 7: gonna He's gonna deport all the all the illegals. He can't.
• 24:19
Speaker 7: They the ones that have gone for asylum, they're entitled
• 24:22
Speaker 7: to hearings. You can't deport those people.
• 24:24
Speaker 4: Well, and some of the things that are coming out
• 24:26
Speaker 4: of Trump, I mean, like you know, the Aurora, Colorado incident,
• 24:28
Speaker 4: for example, they had a incident. I was watching this
• 24:31
Speaker 4: over the weekend. I actually read an article about it too.
• 24:33
Speaker 4: They had an incident in Aurora, Colorado, in a particular
• 24:36
Speaker 4: housing complex where there were some some migrants that had
• 24:41
Speaker 4: come in there and were causing issues. It was not
• 24:44
Speaker 4: the entire town, and a few, yeah, it was a few,
• 24:47
Speaker 4: and they got rid of them. And even the mayor
• 24:50
Speaker 4: of Aurora, who is a Republican, said, what Donald Trump
• 24:53
Speaker 4: is saying right now is not true. This was not
• 24:55
Speaker 4: migrants taking over the town. They had some bad folks
• 24:58
Speaker 4: that came in here into this house complex, and they
• 25:01
Speaker 4: interviewed the tenants and they said, no, once they got
• 25:03
Speaker 4: rid of these people, there hadn't been a problem. You know,
• 25:05
Speaker 4: they could easily just as easily has been Americans that
• 25:07
Speaker 4: did that, and it has happened with Americans in the paste.
• 25:09
Speaker 7: There's a thing, I think it was on Netflix called
• 25:12
Speaker 7: how to Become a Tyrant and tyrants don't tolerate any
• 25:16
Speaker 7: kind of descent. And they went through Castro, and they
• 25:19
Speaker 7: went through Mao and Chi and all the well known ones.
• 25:24
Speaker 7: But I, as you know, became an independent and didn't
• 25:28
Speaker 7: support Trump. I supported the Libertarian. I voted for the
• 25:30
Speaker 7: libertary in the last two elections, and I'll vote for
• 25:32
  Speaker 7: him again because I wouldn't. I'm not going to I've
• 25:35
Speaker 7: never voted for a Democrat for president. But when Kelly
• 25:39
Speaker 7: and Conway Fitzpatrick Conway came here with doctor Price to
• 25:44
Speaker 7: visit the fire station, they had a young lady named
• 25:47
Speaker 7: Laura Truman call my office to direct me not to
• 25:50
Speaker 7: show up there. They don't tolerate any as if I
• 25:53
Speaker 7: was going to do something and draw some attention to myself,
• 25:56
Speaker 7: I'd like to have met doctor Price. He was at
• 25:59
Speaker 7: HHR and I'd watched him as a congressman. He seemed
• 26:02
Speaker 7: pretty civil. I don't care about her, but that's just
• 26:05
Speaker 7: they don't tolerate dissent, but.
• 26:07
Speaker 4: They violand showing five Any Life Bright to You part
• 26:09
Speaker 4: by Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm, texays Dave.
• 26:12
Speaker 4: What do your guests think about the Trump campaign's plans
• 26:15
Speaker 4: to not sortify elections in counties around the country controlled
• 26:18
  Speaker 4: by MAGA people.
• 26:20
  Speaker 7: I don't think they're going to have any choice. I
• 26:22
Speaker 7: think the courts will step in. That's not gonna happen, David.
• 26:27
Speaker 7: If they'll put it in receivership, they have to, the
• 26:30
Speaker 7: federal courts will stay in. We have federal jurisdiction over
• 26:34
Speaker 7: all these elections since its presidential candidate anyway, you know,
• 26:39
Speaker 7: or if you if you deny one of the charges
• 26:42
Speaker 7: against President of Trump in his fourth count in that
• 26:44
Speaker 7: January sixth indicatment to the civil rights violation, that by
• 26:48
Speaker 7: denying the people to vote, that he violated their civil rights.
• 26:53
Speaker 7: And that's that's how they used to It's a clan thing.
• 26:56
Speaker 7: They used to get the klan that way, but back
• 26:58
Speaker 7: in the sixties, because the state courts wouldn't convict him
• 27:01
Speaker 7: to the indict hment federal court on civil rights violation. Well,
• 27:04
Speaker 7: that count number four in that indictment is a civil
• 27:07
Speaker 7: rights violation because he was trying to deny the people
• 27:10
Speaker 7: that they're right to vote by interfering the election. I'm
• 27:13
Speaker 7: not saying it's right. I'm not saying it'd be found guilty,
• 27:17
Speaker 7: but that somebody that tries that now is fooling around
• 27:20
Speaker 7: with serious, serious fire because the Federals will step in Texas.
• 27:25
Speaker 4: Dave omg, how could anyone vote Harris with her nearly
• 27:29
Speaker 4: four year record of devastating policies. Trump has approven history
• 27:32
Speaker 4: in his policies. It's common sense, Dave. It's common sense.
• 27:35
Speaker 7: Danny, Well, not to me, But I'm not voting for either.
• 27:42
Speaker 7: I wouldn't want my fingerprint on any of this. But
• 27:45
Speaker 7: and the best vote I think since Nixon, the best
• 27:49
Speaker 7: vote I ever made was Gary Johnson in twenty sixteen.
• 27:52
Speaker 7: I was involved in the campaign. I was a high
• 27:55
Speaker 7: ranking elected official. I went to DC and was interviewed
• 27:57
Speaker 7: by people for all over the world.
• 28:01
Speaker 4: Uh, Danny Forore, we let you go. Text says Democrats
• 28:03
Speaker 4: and Independence for Harris, won't storm the capitol waving Harris
• 28:06
Speaker 4: flags over Harris lost? Danny Jones, why waste your presidential vote?
• 28:11
Speaker 7: I'm not wasting anything in this state. We all know
• 28:14
Speaker 7: who's going to win. But I have my own preference
• 28:17
Speaker 7: in it to throwaway vote and it matters. And if
• 28:20
Speaker 7: you if you don't think it matters, go back to
• 28:22
Speaker 7: sixty eight when George Wallace got ten million votes in
• 28:26
Speaker 7: thirteen percent of the That's the election I watched closely.
• 28:28
Speaker 7: I still really started watching them closely. And everybody after
• 28:32
Speaker 7: that was going, how can we get the Wallace vote
• 28:34
Speaker 7: without dealing with the racism? You know, well, guess who
• 28:37
  Speaker 7: won the Republican.
• 28:40
Speaker 4: Final text here says, wait, so you disagree with JD.
• 28:43
Speaker 4: Vance and the response to Martha Radditts. I saw that
• 28:45
Speaker 4: interview yesterday with Martha Raddis was this grace It was, Martha,
• 28:49
Speaker 4: do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes
• 28:52
Speaker 4: in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald
• 28:54
Speaker 4: Trump it's a problem and not Kamala Harris's open border.
• 28:57
Speaker 4: Americans are so fed up, says a Texture with what's
• 29:00
Speaker 4: went on, and they have every right to be. And
• 29:02
Speaker 4: I really find this exchange sort of interesting. This is
• 29:04
Speaker 4: jd Vance talking interesting because you seem to be more
• 29:07
Speaker 4: focused with nitpicking everything Donald Trump has said, rather than
• 29:11
Speaker 4: acknowledging that the apartment complexes in the US are being
• 29:14
Speaker 4: taken over by violent gangs.
• 29:16
Speaker 7: Well, I watched that show every week and it's the
• 29:18
Speaker 7: worst show on television. It is the most biased show.
• 29:23
Speaker 7: And any Republican that comes on there that gets grilled
• 29:26
Speaker 7: by those people treated the way he was and the
• 29:30
Speaker 7: way George Stephanopolis treats people. And the Democrat goes on and.
• 29:35
Speaker 4: You know, one thing I think that they need to
• 29:37
Speaker 4: get beyond, Danny, and then we'll let you go. One
• 29:39
Speaker 4: thing I think that they need to get beyond is
• 29:41
Speaker 4: every week on that show, whether it's the House speaker,
• 29:44
Speaker 4: whether it's jd Vance as it was yesterday, either Stephanopolis
• 29:47
Speaker 4: or Martha Rittitts always says. They keep going back to
• 29:50
Speaker 4: that same question, do you think that Donald Trump fairly
• 29:55
Speaker 4: lost the election in twenty twenty? Most Republicans most are
• 29:59
Speaker 4: going to sp see in that position, are going to
• 30:01
Speaker 4: sidestep the issue, of course, and uh and and because
• 30:04
Speaker 4: they don't want to be on record as saying that
• 30:05
Speaker 4: they that they think that he lost it. But they
• 30:08
Speaker 4: need to drop that though in my opinion, Danny, I
• 30:09
Speaker 4: think they did, because it's you're just you're beating your
• 30:11
Speaker 4: head against the walls.
• 30:13
Speaker 7: What they're trying to make news and they're trying to say.
• 30:15
Speaker 7: Jd Vance admitted today that Donald Trump really lost the
• 30:19
Speaker 7: election when he knows he lost. I mean, Biden's the president,
• 30:23
  Speaker 7: isn't he?
• 30:24
Speaker 4: All Right, Danny, You and I will be manning the
• 30:27
Speaker 4: election desk on election night, Nodge. He's not a bad guy.
• 30:33
Speaker 7: Well I'm not a bad guy either, but he may
• 30:36
Speaker 7: not think that. I just told him a good story.
• 30:39
Speaker 8: So he said it's going in the book, So I'm
• 30:42
Speaker 8: but you know it's not going to be published after
• 30:45
Speaker 8: his daddy's or he said.
• 30:46
Speaker 13: No, no, no, I'm gonna Are you getting it done?
• 30:48
Speaker 4: Am I going to make the book?
• 30:49
  Speaker 5: Danny?
• 30:50
Speaker 7: Yeah, you came and stole my jobs.
• 30:53
  Speaker 4: Oh I didn't.
• 30:54
Speaker 7: Steal your v I know you didn't. The book will
• 30:57
Speaker 7: be called if I write it. We called call me
• 30:59

Speaker 7: to call me that. They wouldn't call me Dan or
• 31:07
Speaker 7: Daniel or something like that. Call me Danny, call me Danny.
• 31:10

• 35:13
Speaker 8: Sir, Hey Dave, good good morning. I'll tell you what
• 35:16
Speaker 8: following Dave, following Danny Jones. When you told me before
• 35:20
Speaker 8: the show, you said you're gonna be on after Danny Jones.
• 35:22
Speaker 8: Oh my goodness, I got to go on after him
• 35:24
Speaker 8: because he's you know, it's hard to hard to follow
• 35:26
Speaker 8: an act like that. But we were sitting in the
• 35:29
Speaker 8: green room together and I mentioned that to him. I said, man,
• 35:31
Speaker 8: I got to follow you, and he said, well, he said,
• 35:34
Speaker 8: I've got swim class up at the YMCA at ten o'clock.
• 35:37
Speaker 8: He said, so, if I could go before you, I
• 35:39
Speaker 8: really want to make swim class. So I thought that
• 35:41
Speaker 8: was funny. But I have a lot of respect for
• 35:43
Speaker 8: Danny Jones. We don't always agree everything on everything politically,
• 35:47
Speaker 8: but he's been elected so many times as a Republican
• 35:50
Speaker 8: in what used to be a Democratic stronghold, and there
• 35:52
Speaker 8: were some lines that he had to you know, sort
• 35:54
Speaker 8: of tight rope on. But you know, he told me
• 35:56
Speaker 8: in the green room, he said, uh, I've never been leashed.
• 35:58
Speaker 8: You know, he's always been and he's kind of walked
• 36:01
Speaker 8: to his own own beat and own.
• 36:03
Speaker 4: He's got his own band. He does walk to the
• 36:05
Speaker 4: he's got his own band, his own dang band.
• 36:07
Speaker 8: Yeah, it's like like the Dick Van Dyke on Mary Poppins.
• 36:11
Speaker 8: You know, he's just he's got his own band.
• 36:12
  Speaker 2: But he.
• 36:14
Speaker 8: You know, I have a lot of respect for that so,
• 36:16
Speaker 8: but let me tell you something. He's got some stories.
• 36:20
Speaker 8: We were in the green room and talk about some color.
• 36:23
  Speaker 8: That's a lot of fun.
• 36:24
Speaker 4: But I was gonna say, I've never seen your face
• 36:26
Speaker 4: that red while I walk downstairs. It was.
• 36:29
Speaker 8: It was a eye opening But it's entertaining, it's fun,
• 36:32
Speaker 8: and I hope he puts it in writing. You know,
• 36:33
Speaker 8: Danny's been around for a long time and we enjoy him.
• 36:37
Speaker 8: He needs to get this stuff down in writing because
• 36:38
Speaker 8: some of it you can't come on Dave Allen shows
• 36:41
Speaker 8: and say out loud, but exactly right.
• 36:42
Speaker 13: Anyway, looking forward to it.
• 36:43
Speaker 4: Let me knock out some texts here. This one was
• 36:45
Speaker 4: for Danny, and I know he's listening right now. They
• 36:47
Speaker 4: tried to do it illegally in twenty twenty, and we'll
• 36:50
Speaker 4: try it legally now that the Supreme Court is on
• 36:52
Speaker 4: his side. Talking about Donald Trump not paranoid. He did
• 36:55
Speaker 4: it last time and has promised to do it again
• 36:58
Speaker 4: this year with actual elected and appointed. A fish. It's
• 37:00
Speaker 4: one thing to not support Trump, you need to speak
• 37:03
Speaker 4: against him, Texas. Danny is culturally liberal and most Republicans
• 37:07
Speaker 4: these days would have never voted for him today, Texas,
• 37:12
Speaker 4: Why do people think a vote for anyone but the
• 37:15
Speaker 4: winner as a throwaway vote? Tex says, enjoying the discussion.
• 37:19
  Speaker 4: I don't care for Trump as a person, but I
• 37:20
Speaker 4: can't vote for Harris. We were better off economically under
• 37:23
Speaker 4: the Trump administration. So what is a voter to do?
• 37:28
Speaker 4: Tex says, It's important to know which Republicans would go
• 37:32
Speaker 4: along with overturning results of an election. They're setting the
• 37:34
Speaker 4: stage for it. In this election, there's a whole lot,
• 37:37
Speaker 4: a whole party. Rather the Republicans without the fortitude to
• 37:40
Speaker 4: say Trump lost. The Republicans who do have a pair
• 37:43
Speaker 4: have been excommunicated from the cult I mean religion, I
• 37:46
Speaker 4: mean Republican Party. Texas, Danny is incapable of logic and reason.
• 37:50
Speaker 4: Trump supporters will not engage in political violence, despite having
• 37:53
Speaker 4: did so January sixth and when he was indicted and
• 37:56
Speaker 4: at numerous rallies, library, school board meetings, etc. Parades, etc.
• 38:00
Speaker 4: Disgraced Trump says that criminals who literally assaulted police worth
• 38:03
Speaker 4: their own shields and batons, while calling the cops traders,
• 38:06
Speaker 4: are political prisoners who are unfairly treated the pos I
• 38:10
Speaker 4: need to spell that out for you. Watch the Capitol attack,
• 38:12
Speaker 4: for one hundred and eighty seven minutes and did nothing
• 38:14
Speaker 4: to stop it. But yeah, has been washed had washed
• 38:18
Speaker 4: up Danny and John's okay, he didn't need to say that, thanks,
• 38:20
Speaker 4: says I used to admire Danny. Not wanting to put
• 38:23
Speaker 4: his fingerprints on either candidate shows he does not give
• 38:26
  Speaker 4: a heck about our country. Well, I don't. I don't
• 38:28
Speaker 4: think that's entirely true Texas, Dave, you can pick you
• 38:32
Speaker 4: can pick Trump, but his policies will stop the invasion
• 38:34
Speaker 4: at the border, improve our economy, stop men competing with women,
• 38:38
Speaker 4: says a texture. Tony Hodge is here. How's a podcast,
• 38:42
Speaker 4: Kevin Man. It's doing good. It's doing really good.
• 38:44
Speaker 8: Listenership is much higher than what I had expected, so
• 38:48
Speaker 8: it grows every week. So we're we're having a good time.
• 38:52
Speaker 8: I'll actually be I'll be podcasting today. It'll be out
• 38:55
Speaker 8: in the morning. We're going to talk with Delegate Adam Burkhammer.
• 38:58
Speaker 8: He's from up in the up in Louis County area,
• 39:00
Speaker 8: and he wants to talk about the foster care issues,
• 39:03
Speaker 8: childcare issues, things like that are affecting our state right now.
• 39:06
Speaker 8: He's very, very passionate about it, and so we're going
• 39:08
Speaker 8: to have him on. He's going to talk about it,
• 39:09
Speaker 8: and we encourage, we encourage the listeners, the voters, you know,
• 39:13
  Speaker 8: tune in.
• 39:13
Speaker 13: It's a viewpoint with Tony Hodge.
• 39:15
Speaker 8: You can find it on all your podcast apps and
• 39:18
Speaker 8: it'll be an interesting conversation with him about something that's
• 39:20
Speaker 8: very very important right now.
• 39:22
Speaker 4: But Dave Alan showing five Vittylive brought to you a
• 39:23
Speaker 4: part by Meek's Realtory Group, where Rich the realtor is
• 39:26
Speaker 4: always happy to take your call. He's got a beautiful
• 39:28
Speaker 4: listing in Scott Deepot. Check this one out, Tony seventy
• 39:30
Speaker 4: five points at a drive in Scott Depost stunning fifty
• 39:33
Speaker 4: six hundred square foot home. Too many features to mention here,
• 39:37
Speaker 4: but it does have six bedrooms, two half baths, two
• 39:40
Speaker 4: laundry rooms, and a full house generator to make sure
• 39:42
Speaker 4: the power always stays on. Caller checks. My good buddy,
• 39:45
Speaker 4: Rich the realtor of three zero four nine three two
• 39:47
Speaker 4: seventy four eighty eight, let him tell you more about
• 39:49
Speaker 4: this property, Tony. I'm going to ask you the same
• 39:51
Speaker 4: thing I asked Danny. Is there any way that come
• 39:54
Speaker 4: November fifth, at say ten pm or sooner, we are
• 39:57
Speaker 4: not calling Jim Justice Senator elect or Patrick Morrissey governor elects.
• 40:02
Speaker 8: What time do the polls close is seven Jim Justice
• 40:05
Speaker 8: will be declared the winner of the Senate election at
• 40:09
Speaker 8: seven thirty and Patrick Morrisey will be declared the winner
• 40:12
Speaker 8: of the gubernatorial race at seven thirty PM.
• 40:14
Speaker 4: I saw some I don't know if you called it
• 40:16
Speaker 4: polling or not, but I did see some numbers over
• 40:18
Speaker 4: the weekend that said there's something like a ninety nine
• 40:20
Speaker 4: percent chance, and I don't know what they based that on,
• 40:23
Speaker 4: just something I read, a ninety nine percent chance that
• 40:25
Speaker 4: Morrissey and Jim Justice went absolutely.
• 40:28
Speaker 13: I mean, there's no question about it there.
• 40:31
  Speaker 4: You know.
• 40:31
Speaker 8: Patrick Morrissey is a stalwart Conservative in West Virginia. His record,
• 40:36
Speaker 8: I mean, his record speaks for itself. But even more
• 40:38
Speaker 8: than that, his opponent, the mayor over in Huntington, which
• 40:42
Speaker 8: has been the opioid you know, central for the last
• 40:45
Speaker 8: several years. His ideas just they might resonate with with
• 40:49
Speaker 8: the base and core of his party, but look, this
• 40:51
Speaker 8: is a general election and he's pushing ideas out there
• 40:54
Speaker 8: that go toward the core of his party, and he's
• 40:58
Speaker 8: supposed to appeal to everyone West Virginia, and he's pushing
• 41:01
Speaker 8: these extreme liberal social issues.
• 41:03
  Speaker 16: You know.
• 41:04
Speaker 8: I'll tell you the interesting thing. I hear a lot
• 41:05
Speaker 8: of Democratic Party leaders. They love to say that Republicans
• 41:10
Speaker 8: fight these culture wars. All they all they care about
• 41:12
Speaker 8: is the culture wars. Well, if you look at what
• 41:14
Speaker 8: the Democrats are pushing these days, it's all culture war stuff.
• 41:18
Speaker 8: So they can't just it's on a one way street.
• 41:22
Speaker 8: And uh, Mayor Steve Williams, he's he's a cultural warrior.
• 41:25
Speaker 8: Now he's pushing these these radical left social issues. And
• 41:30
Speaker 8: you know, here I'm just on here commentating. He's all
• 41:32
Speaker 8: I'm doing. I'm just giving my opinion, you know. But uh,
• 41:35
Speaker 8: but it doesn't resonate with people.
• 41:38
Speaker 4: And so yeah, but.
• 41:39
Speaker 8: Patrick Morrison's gonna run away with it, Jim Justice, I mean,
• 41:41
Speaker 8: my goodness, I mean you can't. He's uh, he is
• 41:44
Speaker 8: a political force in this state unlike anything I've ever seen.
• 41:48
Speaker 8: Arch Moore was uh was in office when I was
• 41:51
Speaker 8: a wee little guy, as uh. Uh Mayor Danny Jones
• 41:55
Speaker 8: and I were discussing earlier I was a baby, but uh,
• 41:57
Speaker 8: I don't remember him as well. But I've never seen
• 42:00
Speaker 8: a political force like Jim Justice, and yeah, he will
• 42:03
Speaker 8: be the next United States Senator, and I think he's
• 42:06
  Speaker 8: going to be.
• 42:06
Speaker 13: That vote that will flip the Senate to the Republicans.
• 42:08
Speaker 4: Before we go to break. What about the legislative races,
• 42:11
Speaker 4: I mean, you being with the state party, I know
• 42:15
Speaker 4: that you have to keep an eye on some races,
• 42:17
Speaker 4: not necessarily in this area. You're watching what goes on
• 42:19
Speaker 4: in Hampshire County and you know, whatever county in Monroe
• 42:22
Speaker 4: County across the state of West Virginia. Anyway that we
• 42:26
Speaker 4: don't see even more Republicans elected this time, well, any way,
• 42:30
Speaker 4: that we don't That's what I was saying.
• 42:31
Speaker 8: Yeah, well, I mean we may see more Republicans elected,
• 42:35
Speaker 8: but I'm going to tell you this. So we've talked
• 42:37
Speaker 8: a little bit about the national races. So Kamala Harris,
• 42:42
Speaker 8: she's a radical liberal. You know, she's not going to
• 42:45
Speaker 8: get very many votes in West Virginia. But the Democratic
• 42:48
Speaker 8: Party in West Virginia has tethered themselves to Kamala Harris
• 42:51
Speaker 8: and Tim Walls, and I'm glad they have because they're
• 42:55
Speaker 8: terrible for this state. Their policies do not resonate with
• 42:58
Speaker 8: West Virginia. Their policies will not help West Virginians, and
• 43:01
Speaker 8: the fact that they're tethering all their down bellow candidates
• 43:06
Speaker 8: to the Harris Walls ticket, it's just going to pull
• 43:09
Speaker 8: them down. And we're gonna look, I don't want to
• 43:11
Speaker 8: be overly confident, but we're going to maintain our supermajorities
• 43:16
Speaker 8: and we may increase them. And you know that's you
• 43:21
Speaker 8: know West Virginia's has West Virginians have clearly chosen the
• 43:24
Speaker 8: Conservative Republican Party and they have very clearly rejected the
• 43:28
  Speaker 8: Liberal Democratic Party.

Speaker 4: from West Virginia. What are the things that the text

Speaker 4: would have said the same thing about Jay Rockefeller.
• 47:45
Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't understand. It just doesn't make sense to me.
• 47:47
Speaker 8: I mean, we want people to come to West Virginia.
• 47:50
Speaker 8: We are open for people to move here. We want
• 47:52
Speaker 8: people here. And when people come, if they want to
• 47:54
Speaker 8: run for office, if they're good conservative people, we're gonna
• 47:56

• 47:56

• 48:07
Speaker 4: I guess that's Kamala constantly bracts proudly how she prosecuted

• 48:25
Speaker 4: general and Vice president Kamala Tony real quick when voters
• 48:29
Speaker 4: go to the polls on November fifth. In addition to
• 48:31
Speaker 4: choosing candidates, they're also going to be looking at an
• 48:33
Speaker 4: amendment that would ban physician assistant suicide in the state. Now.
• 48:36
Speaker 4: Bradon writes about a lead story this morning post to
• 48:38
Speaker 4: wv metronews dot com. The Catholic Church is out with
• 48:41
Speaker 4: the statement that they support this ban. Explain your position
• 48:46
Speaker 4: on this, and this is your position, not necessarily that
• 48:48
Speaker 4: of the state Republican Party, although I have a feeling
• 48:50
Speaker 4: they're probably pretty similar. But yeah, go ahead, Yeah.
• 48:52
Speaker 8: The Republican Party is going to come out in favor
• 48:55
Speaker 8: of voting for this amendment. And so what it is personally,
• 48:58
Speaker 8: I mean, we don't have a lot of time here,
• 48:59
Speaker 8: but it's a value on life.
• 49:02
  Speaker 4: What we do.
• 49:03
Speaker 8: Both sides of the political aisle, left and right, both
• 49:08
Speaker 8: we will both fund programs that will discourage suicide. You
• 49:11
Speaker 8: can walk in to places I always say all the time,
• 49:13
Speaker 8: I walk into one of my favorite bookstores in Charleston
• 49:15
Speaker 8: and in the bathroom there's a sign that says, you know,
• 49:18
Speaker 8: feeling like suicide, call nine eight eight.
• 49:20
Speaker 13: There's help for you. Both sides of the aisle.
• 49:22
Speaker 8: Fund things that discourage that discourage suicide. And so that's
• 49:26
Speaker 8: all this does, is this just puts it in our
• 49:27
Speaker 8: constitution that would discourage this behavior. We value life, we
• 49:31
Speaker 8: want people to have good end of life care, we
• 49:33
Speaker 8: want pain management care, all these things, None of that
• 49:36
Speaker 8: will change. All this is to prevent doctor Kavorkian style
• 49:41
Speaker 8: medical care coming into West Virginia. And so I was
• 49:44
Speaker 8: talking to a woman just this morning and she was
• 49:47
Speaker 8: telling me about her her father had an industrial accident
• 49:50
Speaker 8: and has had a hard time, a hard goo of
• 49:53
Speaker 8: it for several years, you know, and she's she was
• 49:55
Speaker 8: kind of on the fence like, well, you know, I
• 49:56
Speaker 8: don't know, you know, he's kind of depressed about his
• 49:59
Speaker 8: life style. But her issue was if if we put
• 50:02
Speaker 8: him in hospice, then he can no longer have the
• 50:05
Speaker 8: normal medical care that he needs. But then if we
• 50:07
Speaker 8: keep him in the normal medical care that he needs,
• 50:09
Speaker 8: then they can't offer pain management like hospice can. And
• 50:12
Speaker 8: I told her, I said, well that what that does,
• 50:14
Speaker 8: and what this whole conversation around assistus suicide does is
• 50:17
Speaker 8: it magnifies problems in our healthcare system that we maybe
• 50:22
Speaker 8: aren't addressing right now. And so when we get this pass,
• 50:25
Speaker 8: maybe there's some things in the healthcare system that we
• 50:27
Speaker 8: need to address him fixed.
• 50:28
Speaker 4: All right, Happy Columbus Day or Indigenous people.
• 50:30
Speaker 8: It's Columbus Day. Christopher Columbus was a great explorer. He
• 50:34
Speaker 8: thought he was going to the to the Indies, but
• 50:35
Speaker 8: he made it to America and he opened up a
• 50:37
Speaker 8: whole new half of the world for people to live
• 50:40
Speaker 8: in freedom. And if you're against Columbus, you're against immigrants.
• 50:44
Speaker 4: Thank goodness. He didn't travel I sixty four. He'd still
• 50:47
Speaker 4: be in traffic, all right. He was prone to getting lost. Anyway, Tony,
