• 0:56
  So

  we're

• 1:02
  So
• 1:03
  how
• 1:03
  am
• 1:03
  I
• 1:03
  to
• 1:03
  respond?
• 1:04
  I've
• 1:05
  decided
• 1:05
  that
• 1:05
  I
• 1:05
  really
• 1:05
  don't
• 1:06
  care
• 1:06
  about
• 1:06
  their
• 1:06
  motives,
• 1:06
  whether
• 1:07
  mixed,
• 1:07
  bad

  or

  indifferent.
• 1:09
  Every

  one
• 1:09
  of
• 1:09
  them
• 1:10
  opens

  his

  mouth,
• 1:10
  Christ
• 1:11
  is
• 1:11
  proclaimed
• 1:11
  and
• 1:12
  so
• 1:12
  I.
• 1:12
  Just
• 1:12
  cheer
• 1:12
  them
• 1:13
  on.
• 1:14
  I'm
• 1:14
  going
• 1:14
  to
• 1:14
  keep
• 1:14
  that
• 1:15
  celebration
• 1:15
  going
• 1:16
  because
• 1:16
  I
• 1:16
  know

  how
• 1:17
  it's
• 1:18
  going
• 1:18
  to
• 1:18
  turn
• 1:18
  out
• 1:19
  through
• 1:19
  your
• 1:20
  faithful
• 1:20
  prayers
• 1:20
  and

  generous

  Everything

  to

  do
• 1:25
  in

  and
• 1:25
  through
• 1:25
  me
• 1:26
  will
• 1:26
  be
• 1:26
  done.
• 1:27
  I
• 1:27
  can
• 1:27
  hardly
• 1:28
  wait
• 1:28
  to
• 1:28
  continue
• 1:28
  on
• 1:29
  my

• 1:30
  I

  don't

• 1:30
  to
• 1:30
  be
• 1:31
  embarrassed
• 1:31
  in

• 1:32
  On
• 1:32
  the
• 1:32
  contrary,
• 1:33
  everything
• 1:33
  happened
• 1:34
  to

  me
• 1:34
  in

  to

• 1:36
  Christ
• 1:37
  more
• 1:37
  accurately
• 1:38
  known
• 1:39
  regardless
• 1:40
  of
• 1:40
  whether.
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  live
• 1:40
  or
• 1:41
  die.
• 1:41
  They
• 1:42
  didn't
• 1:42
  shut
• 1:42
  me
• 1:42
  up.
• 1:43
  They
• 1:43
  gave
• 1:43
  me
• 1:43
  a
• 1:43
  platform.
• 1:44
  Alive
• 1:45
  I'm
• 1:45
  Christ's
• 1:46
  messenger.
• 1:46
  Dead
• 1:47
  I'm
• 1:48
  his
• 1:48
  prize
• 1:49
  life,
• 1:49
  Life
• 1:50
  versus
• 1:50
  even
• 1:50
  more
• 1:51
  life.
• 1:52
  I
• 1:52
  can't
• 1:53
  lose.
• 1:54
  As
• 1:55
  long
• 1:55
  as
• 1:55
  I'm
• 1:55
  alive
• 1:55
  in
• 1:56
  this
• 1:56
  body,
• 1:57
  there's
• 1:57
  good
• 1:57
  work
• 1:57
  for
• 1:58
  me
• 1:58
  to
• 1:58
  do
• 1:58
  if
• 1:59
  I
• 1:59
  have
• 1:59
  to
• 1:59
  choose.
• 1:59
  Right
• 2:00
  now,
• 2:00
  I
• 2:00
  hardly
• 2:01
  know
• 2:01
  which
• 2:01
  I
• 2:01
  choose.
• 2:02
  It's
• 2:02
  a
• 2:02
  hard
• 2:02
  choice.
• 2:03
  The
• 2:03
  desire
• 2:03
  to
• 2:04
  break
• 2:04
  camp
• 2:04
  here
• 2:04
  and
• 2:05
  be
• 2:05
  with
• 2:05
  Christ
• 2:05
  is
• 2:05
  powerful.
• 2:06
  Some
• 2:07
  days
• 2:07
  I
• 2:07
  can
• 2:07
  think
• 2:07
  of
• 2:08
  nothing
• 2:08
  better.
• 2:09
  But
• 2:09
  most
• 2:09
  days,
• 2:10
  because
• 2:10
  of
• 2:10
  what
• 2:10
  you
• 2:11
  are
• 2:11
  going
• 2:11
  through,
• 2:12
  I
• 2:12
  am
• 2:12
  sure
• 2:13
  that
• 2:13
  it's
• 2:13
  better
• 2:13
  for
• 2:13
  me
• 2:14
  to
• 2:14
  stick
• 2:14
  it
• 2:14
  out
• 2:14
  here.
• 2:15
  So
• 2:15
  I
• 2:15
  plan
• 2:16
  on
• 2:16
  being
• 2:16
  around
• 2:16
  a
• 2:16
  while
• 2:17
  companion
• 2:18
  to
• 2:18
  you.
• 2:18
  As
• 2:18
  your
• 2:19
  growth
• 2:19
  and
• 2:19
  joy
• 2:20
  in
• 2:20
  this
• 2:20
  life
• 2:20
  of
• 2:21
  trusting
• 2:21
  God
• 2:22
  continues,
• 2:23
  you
• 2:23
  can
• 2:24
  start
• 2:24
  looking
• 2:24
  forward
• 2:25
  to
• 2:25
  a
• 2:25
  great
• 2:25
  reunion
• 2:26
  when
• 2:26
  I
• 2:26
  come
• 2:26
  visit
• 2:26
  you
• 2:27
  again.
• 2:27
  We'll
• 2:28
  be
• 2:28
  praising
• 2:28
  Christ,
• 2:29
  enjoying
• 2:29
  each
• 2:29
  other.
• 2:30
  Meanwhile,
• 2:31
  live
• 2:31
  in
• 2:31
  such
• 2:31
  a
• 2:32
  way
• 2:32
  that
• 2:32
  you
• 2:32
  are
• 2:32
  a
• 2:32
  credit
• 2:33
  to
• 2:33
  the
• 2:33
  message
• 2:33
  of
• 2:33
  Christ.
• 2:34
  Let
• 2:35
  nothing
• 2:35
  in
• 2:35
  your
• 2:35
  conduct
• 2:36
  hang
• 2:36
  on
• 2:36
  Whether
• 2:36
  I
• 2:37
  come
• 2:37
  or
• 2:37
  not,
• 2:38
  your
• 2:38
  conduct
• 2:39
  must
• 2:39
  be
• 2:39
  the
• 2:39
  same
• 2:39
  whether
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  show
• 2:40
  up
• 2:40
  to
• 2:40
  see
• 2:41
  things
• 2:41
  for
• 2:41
  myself
• 2:41
  or.
• 2:42
  Or
• 2:42
  hear
• 2:42
  it
• 2:42
  from
• 2:43
  a
• 2:43
  distance.
• 2:44
  Stand
• 2:44
  united,
• 2:45
  singular
• 2:45
  in
• 2:45
  vision,
• 2:46
  contending
• 2:47
  for
• 2:47
  people's
• 2:47
  trust
• 2:48
  in

  not

• 2:51
  or
• 2:51
  dodging
• 2:51
  in
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  slightest
• 2:52
  before
• 2:52
  the
• 2:52
  opposition.
• 2:54
  Your
• 2:54
  courage
• 2:54
  and
• 2:55
  unity
• 2:55
  will
• 2:55
  show
• 2:55
  them
• 2:56
  what
• 2:56
  they're
• 2:57
  up
• 2:57
  against.
• 2:58
  Defeat
• 2:58
  for
• 2:58
  them,
• 2:59
  victory
• 2:59
  for
• 3:00
  you,
• 3:00
  and
• 3:01
  both
• 3:01
  because
• 3:01
  of
• 3:02
  God.
• 3:02
  There's
• 3:03
  far
• 3:03
  more
• 3:03
  to
• 3:03
  this
• 3:03
  life
• 3:04
  than
• 3:04
  trusting
• 3:04
  in
• 3:05
  Christ.
• 3:05
  There's
• 3:06
  also
• 3:06
  suffering
• 3:06
  for
• 3:07
  him,
• 3:08
  and
• 3:08
  the
• 3:08
  suffering
• 3:10
  is
• 3:10
  as
• 3:10
  much
• 3:11
  a
• 3:11
  gift
• 3:11
  as
• 3:11
  the
• 3:11
  trusting.
• 3:12
  You're
• 3:13
  involved
• 3:13
  in
• 3:13
  the
• 3:14
  same
• 3:14
  kind
• 3:15
  of
• 3:15
  struggle
• 3:15
  you
• 3:16
  saw
• 3:16
  me

  go

  which

  in

• 3:23
  Well,
• 3:23
  my

  friends,
• 3:24
  that's
• 3:24
  the
• 3:24
  end
• 3:24
  of
• 3:24
  the
• 3:24
  reading.
• 3:25
  I
• 3:25
  just
• 3:25
  want
• 3:25
  to
• 3:25
  welcome
• 3:25
  you
• 3:26
  back

• 3:31
  So

  let's

  let's

  just

  talk
• 3:34
  for
• 3:34
  a
• 3:35
  few
• 3:35
  minutes,
• 3:35
  have

  a

  conversation,
• 3:36
  you

  and

  me,

• 3:41
  And

  I

• 3:55
  a
• 3:55
  jail
• 3:56
  cell,
• 3:56
  and
• 3:57
  that's
• 3:57
  an
• 3:57
  important
• 3:57
  context
• 3:58
  to
• 3:58
  get
• 3:58
  here.
• 3:59
  He's
• 3:59
  not
• 4:00
  writing
• 4:00
  from
• 4:00
  some
• 4:00
  comfortable
• 4:01
  study
• 4:01
  or
• 4:02
  library
• 4:02
  or
• 4:02
  something
• 4:03
  or
• 4:03
  retreat
• 4:03
  center.
• 4:04
  He's
• 4:04
  in
• 4:04
  chains.
• 4:06
  And
• 4:06
  what
• 4:07
  he
• 4:07
  writes
• 4:07
  from
• 4:07
  that
• 4:08
  place
• 4:09
  is
• 4:09
  one
• 4:09
  of
• 4:09
  the
• 4:09
  most
• 4:09
  counterintuitive
• 4:10
  things
• 4:11
  in
• 4:11
  all
• 4:11
  of
• 4:11
  Scripture.
• 4:12
  Get
• 4:13
  this.
• 4:13
  Paul
• 4:14
  isn't
• 4:14
  changed.
• 4:15
  And
• 4:15
  he
• 4:15
  says,
• 4:16
  I
• 4:16
  can't
• 4:17
  lose.
• 4:18
  And
• 4:18
  that's
• 4:18
  a
• 4:18
  remarkable
• 4:19
  thing
• 4:20
  to
• 4:21
  hear
• 4:21
  him
• 4:21
  say.
• 4:22
  Paul
• 4:23
  found
• 4:24
  reorientation
• 4:25
  in
• 4:25
  a
• 4:25
  jail
• 4:25
  cell.
• 4:26
  And
• 4:27
  that's
• 4:27
  where
• 4:27
  I
• 4:27
  want
• 4:27
  to
• 4:27
  start
• 4:27
  our
• 4:27
  conversation
• 4:28
  today.
• 4:29
  Our
• 4:30
  point
• 4:30
  to
• 4:30
  ponder,
• 4:30
  number
• 4:31
  one,
• 4:31
  is
• 4:31
  this
• 4:32
  reframing
• 4:33
  isn't
• 4:33
  the
• 4:33
  same
• 4:34
  as
• 4:34
  pretending.
• 4:37
  Paul's
• 4:38
  I
• 4:38
  can't
• 4:38
  lose
• 4:39
  attitude
• 4:40
  is
• 4:40
  not
• 4:41
  toxic
• 4:42
  positivity.
• 4:43
  He
• 4:43
  is
• 4:43
  not
• 4:44
  performing
• 4:45
  happiness.
• 4:46
  He
• 4:46
  says
• 4:47
  plainly,
• 4:47
  I'm
• 4:47
  in
• 4:48
  jail.
• 4:49
  I
• 4:49
  might
• 4:49
  die.
• 4:50
  And
• 4:50
  some
• 4:51
  of
• 4:51
  the
• 4:51
  people
• 4:51
  preaching
• 4:51
  out
• 4:52
  there
• 4:52
  have
• 4:52
  bad
• 4:53
  motives.
• 4:54
  He
• 4:54
  sees
• 4:54
  all
• 4:55
  of
• 4:55
  it.
• 4:55
  He
• 4:56
  just
• 4:56
  refuses
• 4:56
  to
• 4:57
  let
• 4:57
  it
• 4:57
  have
• 4:57
  the
• 4:57
  final
• 4:58
  word.
• 4:59
  On
• 4:59
  my
• 5:00
  other
• 5:00
  podcast
• 5:00
  I
• 5:00
  do,
• 5:01
  it's
• 5:01
  a
• 5:01
  weekly
• 5:01
  one
• 5:02
  where
• 5:02
  I
• 5:02
  talk
• 5:02
  with
• 5:02
  people
• 5:03
  navigating
• 5:03
  cancer.
• 5:04
  I've
• 5:05
  had
• 5:05
  the
• 5:05
  privilege
• 5:05
  of
• 5:05
  sitting
• 5:06
  with
• 5:06
  some
• 5:06
  really
• 5:06
  courageous
• 5:07
  human
• 5:07
  beings
• 5:08
  who
• 5:09
  I've
• 5:09
  ever
• 5:09
  encountered,
• 5:09
  and
• 5:10
  the
• 5:10
  ones
• 5:10
  who
• 5:10
  find
• 5:10
  their
• 5:11
  way
• 5:11
  through
• 5:12
  their
• 5:12
  situation
• 5:13
  don't
• 5:13
  pretend
• 5:13
  that
• 5:14
  cancer
• 5:14
  isn't
• 5:14
  real.
• 5:15
  But
• 5:15
  somewhere
• 5:16
  along
• 5:16
  their
• 5:16
  journey,
• 5:17
  many
• 5:17
  of
• 5:17
  them
• 5:17
  find
• 5:17
  a
• 5:17
  way
• 5:18
  to
• 5:18
  reframe
• 5:19
  the
• 5:19
  story.
• 5:20
  Not
• 5:20
  to
• 5:20
  deny
• 5:21
  the
• 5:21
  suffering,
• 5:21
  but
• 5:21
  to
• 5:21
  refuse
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  let
• 5:22
  Suffering
• 5:23
  write
• 5:23
  the
• 5:23
  ending
• 5:24
  and
• 5:24
  progressive
• 5:25
  faith
• 5:26
  understanding
• 5:26
  of
• 5:26
  this
• 5:27
  passage
• 5:27
  doesn't
• 5:28
  ask
• 5:28
  us
• 5:28
  to
• 5:28
  perform
• 5:29
  cheerfulness
• 5:31
  or
• 5:31
  paste
• 5:31
  a
• 5:32
  smile
• 5:33
  over
• 5:33
  genuine
• 5:34
  pain.
• 5:35
  It
• 5:35
  invites
• 5:35
  us
• 5:36
  to
• 5:36
  an
• 5:36
  honest
• 5:36
  reckoning
• 5:37
  with
• 5:37
  what's
• 5:38
  real
• 5:38
  and
• 5:38
  stubborn,
• 5:39
  almost
• 5:40
  defiant
• 5:40
  belief
• 5:41
  that
• 5:41
  something
• 5:41
  redemptive
• 5:42
  is
• 5:42
  still
• 5:42
  possible.
• 5:44
  That's
• 5:44
  not
• 5:44
  naive,
• 5:45
  that
• 5:46
  is
• 5:46
  genuinely
• 5:46
  brave.
• 5:48
  Point
• 5:48
  to
• 5:48
  ponder
• 5:48
  number
• 5:49
  two.
• 5:50
  Your
• 5:50
  life
• 5:51
  is
• 5:52
  the
• 5:52
  message.
• 5:53
  So
• 5:53
  that's
• 5:54
  the
• 5:54
  second
• 5:54
  thing
• 5:54
  I
• 5:54
  want
• 5:54
  us
• 5:54
  to
• 5:54
  sit
• 5:55
  with.
• 5:55
  It's
• 5:56
  here
• 5:56
  in
• 5:56
  verse
• 5:56
  27
• 5:57
  of
• 5:57
  this
• 5:57
  passage.
• 5:58
  It
• 5:58
  says,
• 5:58
  live
• 5:58
  in
• 5:58
  such
• 5:59
  a
• 5:59
  way
• 5:59
  that
• 5:59
  you
• 6:00
  are
• 6:00
  a
• 6:01
  credit
• 6:02
  to
• 6:02
  the
• 6:02
  message
• 6:02
  of
• 6:03
  Christ.
• 6:04
  Paul
• 6:05
  doesn't
• 6:05
  say
• 6:05
  make
• 6:06
  sure
• 6:06
  your
• 6:06
  theology
• 6:07
  is
• 6:07
  airtight.
• 6:08
  He
• 6:08
  says,
• 6:08
  make
• 6:09
  sure
• 6:09
  your
• 6:09
  life
• 6:10
  is
• 6:10
  worth
• 6:10
  something.
• 6:11
  He's
• 6:11
  more
• 6:12
  concerned
• 6:12
  with
• 6:12
  whether
• 6:12
  the
• 6:13
  Philippians
• 6:13
  show
• 6:14
  up
• 6:14
  for
• 6:14
  each
• 6:14
  other,
• 6:15
  stand
• 6:15
  together
• 6:15
  and
• 6:16
  act
• 6:16
  with
• 6:16
  courage
• 6:16
  than
• 6:17
  whether
• 6:17
  they've
• 6:17
  agreed
• 6:18
  to
• 6:18
  the
• 6:18
  right
• 6:18
  doctrinal
• 6:19
  checklist.
• 6:20
  And
• 6:21
  this
• 6:21
  is
• 6:21
  where
• 6:21
  progressive
• 6:22
  Christianity
• 6:23
  has
• 6:23
  always
• 6:23
  leaned
• 6:24
  hard,
• 6:24
  and
• 6:24
  I
• 6:24
  think
• 6:24
  rightly
• 6:25
  so.
• 6:25
  Faith
• 6:26
  isn't
• 6:26
  primarily
• 6:27
  a
• 6:27
  set
• 6:27
  of
• 6:28
  propositions.
• 6:29
  We
• 6:29
  believe
• 6:30
  it's
• 6:30
  a
• 6:30
  way
• 6:30
  of
• 6:31
  life.
• 6:31
  We
• 6:31
  embody
• 6:32
  day
• 6:32
  to
• 6:32
  day
• 6:33
  in
• 6:33
  ordinary
• 6:34
  moments.
• 6:35
  My
• 6:35
  two
• 6:36
  granddaughters
• 6:36
  will
• 6:37
  tell
• 6:37
  you
• 6:37
  that
• 6:38
  laughing
• 6:38
  with
• 6:38
  those
• 6:38
  girls
• 6:39
  is
• 6:39
  one
• 6:39
  of
• 6:39
  the
• 6:39
  greatest
• 6:40
  joys,
• 6:40
  is
• 6:41
  one
• 6:41
  of
• 6:41
  my
• 6:41
  favorite
• 6:41
  things
• 6:41
  on
• 6:42
  this
• 6:42
  planet.
• 6:43
  And
• 6:43
  they
• 6:43
  don't
• 6:44
  care
• 6:44
  what
• 6:44
  theology
• 6:45
  or
• 6:45
  any
• 6:46
  background
• 6:46
  their
• 6:46
  grandpa
• 6:47
  has.
• 6:48
  And
• 6:48
  they
• 6:48
  just
• 6:48
  notice
• 6:49
  how
• 6:49
  I
• 6:49
  treat
• 6:49
  them
• 6:49
  and
• 6:50
  how
• 6:50
  they
• 6:50
  treat
• 6:50
  me
• 6:51
  and
• 6:52
  that
• 6:52
  I
• 6:52
  show
• 6:52
  up
• 6:52
  and
• 6:53
  that
• 6:53
  it's
• 6:53
  real.
• 6:54
  And
• 6:55
  I
• 6:55
  show
• 6:55
  up
• 6:55
  when
• 6:55
  it's
• 6:56
  hard
• 6:56
  and
• 6:56
  when
• 6:56
  I
• 6:56
  don't
• 6:57
  feel
• 6:57
  good
• 6:57
  or
• 6:58
  whatever
• 6:58
  it
• 6:58
  is.
• 6:59
  And
• 7:01
  even
• 7:01
  if
• 7:01
  I
• 7:01
  don't
• 7:01
  feel
• 7:02
  like
• 7:02
  it,
• 7:03
  that's
• 7:03
  the
• 7:03
  real
• 7:03
  message.
• 7:04
  My
• 7:05
  wife
• 7:05
  and
• 7:05
  I
• 7:05
  have
• 7:05
  been
• 7:05
  together
• 7:06
  over
• 7:06
  34
• 7:06
  years
• 7:07
  and
• 7:07
  we've
• 7:07
  raised
• 7:08
  three
• 7:09
  wonderful
• 7:09
  adult
• 7:09
  children
• 7:10
  and
• 7:11
  we
• 7:11
  watched
• 7:11
  them
• 7:11
  build
• 7:11
  amazing
• 7:12
  lives.
• 7:12
  That's
• 7:13
  embodied
• 7:13
  faith
• 7:14
  and
• 7:14
  that's
• 7:15
  the
• 7:15
  message
• 7:15
  that
• 7:15
  actually
• 7:15
  reaches
• 7:16
  people.
• 7:17
  And
• 7:17
  look,
• 7:18
  I
• 7:18
  have
• 7:18
  my
• 7:19
  issues.
• 7:19
  I
• 7:19
  have
• 7:19
  one
• 7:19
  thing
• 7:20
  I
• 7:20
  tell
• 7:20
  terrible
• 7:20
  bad
• 7:21
  dad
• 7:21
  jokes.
• 7:22
  My
• 7:22
  family
• 7:22
  groans
• 7:23
  at
• 7:23
  every
• 7:23
  time.
• 7:24
  But
• 7:24
  even
• 7:24
  a
• 7:25
  bad
• 7:25
  dad
• 7:25
  joke
• 7:26
  has
• 7:26
  a
• 7:26
  way
• 7:26
  of
• 7:26
  saying
• 7:26
  I
• 7:26
  love
• 7:27
  you
• 7:27
  enough
• 7:28
  to
• 7:28
  embarrass
• 7:28
  myself
• 7:29
  for
• 7:29
  a
• 7:29
  laugh.
• 7:30
  And
• 7:31
  that
• 7:31
  counts.
• 7:32
  Here's
• 7:33
  your
• 7:33
  action
• 7:33
  step
• 7:33
  for
• 7:34
  this
• 7:34
  week.
• 7:34
  Think
• 7:35
  of
• 7:35
  a
• 7:35
  person
• 7:35
  in
• 7:35
  your
• 7:35
  life
• 7:36
  who's
• 7:36
  carrying
• 7:36
  something
• 7:37
  heavy
• 7:37
  right
• 7:37
  now.
• 7:38
  Maybe
• 7:38
  it's
• 7:38
  a
• 7:39
  cancer
• 7:39
  diagnosis
• 7:40
  or
• 7:40
  a
• 7:40
  loss
• 7:41
  in
• 7:41
  their
• 7:41
  life
• 7:42
  or
• 7:42
  a
• 7:43
  season
• 7:43
  of
• 7:43
  doubt
• 7:43
  or
• 7:44
  financial
• 7:44
  issues
• 7:45
  or
• 7:46
  relationship
• 7:46
  problems.
• 7:47
  Don't
• 7:48
  try
• 7:48
  to
• 7:48
  fix
• 7:48
  it.
• 7:49
  Don't
• 7:49
  text
• 7:49
  them
• 7:50
  a
• 7:50
  Bible
• 7:50
  verse
• 7:50
  and
• 7:50
  call
• 7:51
  it
• 7:51
  done.
• 7:52
  Just
• 7:52
  show
• 7:52
  up.
• 7:53
  A
• 7:54
  phone
• 7:54
  call,
• 7:54
  a
• 7:54
  walk,
• 7:55
  a
• 7:55
  cup
• 7:55
  of
• 7:55
  coffee,
• 7:57
  a
• 7:57
  visit
• 7:57
  on
• 7:57
  the
• 7:58
  doorstep.
• 7:59
  Be
• 7:59
  the
• 8:00
  message
• 8:00
  that
• 8:00
  is
• 8:01
  human,
• 8:02
  most
• 8:03
  human,
• 8:04
  ordinary
• 8:05
  way
• 8:05
  that
• 8:05
  you
• 8:05
  know
• 8:05
  them.
• 8:06
  Paul
• 8:06
  says,
• 8:07
  your
• 8:07
  conduct
• 8:07
  speaks
• 8:08
  louder
• 8:08
  than
• 8:08
  anything

  Let's

  say
• 8:11
  something
• 8:12
  good
• 8:13
  to
• 8:13
  somebody.
• 8:13
  This
• 8:14
  week
• 8:15
  I'm
• 8:16
  going
• 8:16
  to
• 8:16
  come
• 8:16
  back
• 8:16
  and
• 8:16
  have
• 8:17
  a
• 8:17
  prayer
• 8:17
  with
• 8:17
  you.
• 8:18
  First,
• 8:18
  I
• 8:18
  just
• 8:18
  want
• 8:18
  you
• 8:18
  to
• 8:19
  know
• 8:19
  that
• 8:19
  we
• 8:19
  have
• 8:19
  a

  Bible

  study
• 8:20
  resource
• 8:21
  for
• 8:21
  you
• 8:21
  that
• 8:21
  you
• 8:21
  can
• 8:21
  use

  at

  let's
• 8:29
  pray.
• 8:31
  Oh
• 8:31
  God,
• 8:32
  we
• 8:32
  come
• 8:32
  today
• 8:34
  to
• 8:34
  you.
• 8:34
  With
• 8:34
  a
• 8:34
  lot
• 8:34
  of
• 8:35
  different
• 8:36
  from
• 8:36
  a.
• 8:36
  Lot
• 8:36
  of
• 8:36
  different
• 8:37
  places.
• 8:38
  Some
• 8:38
  of
• 8:38
  us
• 8:38
  are
• 8:38
  having
• 8:39
  a
• 8:39
  genuinely
• 8:39
  good
• 8:39
  season,
• 8:40
  laughing
• 8:41
  and
• 8:41
  feeling
• 8:42
  like
• 8:42
  things
• 8:42
  are
• 8:42
  good.
• 8:43
  And
• 8:43
  some
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  us
• 8:43
  are
• 8:44
  in
• 8:44
  a
• 8:44
  hard
• 8:44
  place
• 8:44
  right
• 8:44
  now,
• 8:45
  scared,
• 8:45
  exhausted,
• 8:46
  maybe
• 8:47
  like
• 8:47
  Paul
• 8:47
  in
• 8:47
  that
• 8:47
  jail
• 8:48
  cell,
• 8:49
  wondering
• 8:49
  about
• 8:49
  how
• 8:50
  this
• 8:50
  whole
• 8:50
  thing
• 8:50
  ends.
• 8:51
  So
• 8:51
  God
• 8:51
  asks
• 8:52
  you
• 8:52
  to
• 8:52
  meet
• 8:52
  us
• 8:52
  where
• 8:52
  we
• 8:52
  are,
• 8:53
  not
• 8:53
  where
• 8:53
  we
• 8:54
  think
• 8:54
  we
• 8:54
  should
• 8:54
  be.
• 8:55
  Give
• 8:56
  us
• 8:56
  the
• 8:56
  kind
• 8:56
  of
• 8:56
  faith
• 8:56
  that
• 8:57
  doesn't
• 8:57
  flinch
• 8:57
  from
• 8:57
  our
• 8:58
  hard
• 8:58
  stuff,
• 8:59
  but
• 8:59
  also
• 8:59
  doesn't

• 8:59
  the

  final
• 9:00
  word
• 9:00
  over

  that

  our

  our

• 9:06
  are
• 9:06
  the
• 9:06
  clearest
• 9:06
  message
• 9:07
  we've
• 9:07
  got
• 9:09
  when
• 9:09
  we're
• 9:09
  tempted
• 9:09
  to
• 9:10
  overthink
• 9:10
  our
• 9:10
  theology
• 9:11
  and
• 9:11

• 9:12
  Nudge
• 9:13
  us
• 9:13

• 9:14
  Remind
• 9:14
  us
• 9:14
  that
• 9:15
  sometimes
• 9:15
  the
• 9:15
  most
• 9:15
  faithful
• 9:16
  thing
• 9:16
  we
• 9:16

  is
