Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Hey guys, welcome to Housewives Goss and Glitter.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Today Ashley and I are going over the real House of Housewives of New York, season 16, episode 3.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: And we start off with well, my first question was why Carol is in the middle.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: I really am just so confused on that in the intro.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: But we start with Jessel and Haley playing pickleball.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: I like don't want to play pickleball.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: I'm uninterested.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I like tennis.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I don't want like a smaller paddle.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Like, no.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: That means I haven't played tennis since like middle school, but I know Slater has played pickleball with his brothers, and then when we go to Jersey, he plays on occasion.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: There's this massive retail store in I think Danvers or Peabody that's like dedicated entirely to pickleball.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: It's like a cult.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Don't they have the pickleball quartz in there?
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: It's across from Market Basket, right?
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: In the Liberty Tree Mall.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Um, maybe.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And then we have a bunch of pickleball quartz in Salem, too, that are like always full.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, I had no idea about that in Salem.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: But I think it's having like a re like not a resurgence, but it's definitely gained a ton of popularity lately.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: So Jessel sucks at it, but Haley has her history with tennis, so she's really good.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: I like how Haley was like, I got a tennis scholarship and then I got busted for smoking pot, and then they took away the scholarship.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Isn't it kind of crazy how much trouble you used to get into for pot?
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: It's crazy.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Like that's actually John was John was expelled senior year for that.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I was like, expelled.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Over that?
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Over that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Isn't that crazy?
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: And it it did.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: But I'm also not surprised because I remember when I was a freshman in high school, this girl that was on the varsity basketball team got in like so much trouble.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And they did like a I feel like they did like a presentation about this because she got caught smoking a cigarette.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: And I was like, no.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And now when I think about that, I was like, they like literally made this girl out to be like the worst person ever.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: And I'm now because they're like vaping in class and they get like a slap on the wrist and like their vape taken away for the class.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: It's gross to vape in class.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, it is.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: When you're smoking a cigarette, you're outside.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Like, right?
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: And now, like, weed is so legal.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: So to have Haley, who's a year older than I am, by the way.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: So it's like she was in the same grade as I was, essentially, and then getting in trouble for smoking pot.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: And then I'm thinking about it.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you know what?
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: That kind of makes sense.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Like be in high school and then having it yanked.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: And you can't be like a sports star and be like, oh, I smoke a ton of weed.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Or something.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: And then they start talking about like Ruben and how basically like Haley is still mad at Erin over this Allison situation.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And like Jessel just like cannot get over her like personal life.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: She's like, oh, like she brings up Ruben and their lavender marriage.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Like she just does not understand that they clearly have like an arrangement.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: And she's just like can't.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: And it was very enlightening to hear Haley's version of the story, especially about like because they bring up Aaron, and then Aaron, like bashing well, the bashing at the dinner was later.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: But the fact that like Aaron has so much to say about her at Jessel's party, like how she broke her nose on a boob or whatever, and then Aaron changes it to dildo.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And every time you hear Aaron tell the story.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, but every time Erin tells it, a different body part has broken Haley's nose.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Like, so she's like, Erin is a shit talker.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I don't know how I feel about her, but then Jessel needs to know all the details, which was kind of nice to get the background for Haley because like you and I Googled it last time, but we didn't find out everything.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: So basically, we find out more about her relationship with John from John and Kate Plus 8.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: And they were in fact separated.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: He was living with her mom.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so she's saying that he was like best friends with Haley's mother.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: So what the age gap?
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So from my understanding of this scene, was Haley's dad did Kate's tummy talk and like mommy makeover.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Yes, because she had like a gazillion kids.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: Through that, Haley's mom started to help take care of Kate, but became friends with John.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: And so when they separated, John and her mom were BFFs.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: John moved in with them and with her parents.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, moved in with Haley's parents.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: Haley was back from like a college break, met John, and then they started dating.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: But John and Kate were separated, but because the show was still going on, they were tabloids now.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: So hold on, let me look at how old.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: How old was Neely was 22.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I and I think John was significantly older than her at that point.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Let's see.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Neely Glassman.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: He was 32.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: So not anything crazy.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: 10 years.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: So not too bad.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Not too bad.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: So she was home from Indiana University and they like struck up a romance.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: And then the yeah, like you said, the show was still going on, so it was not public that he and his wife were separated.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: So then like the tabloids started, like, because especially tabloids back then were like really bad.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: And so they were like following her to college, and then they were trying to like interview, like pay college students like a hundred dollars at Indiana University to like give them a story about Haley.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: So she was like all over the tabloids for like a while.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Like apparently, this was a really big deal.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: And she was like this young homewrecker that was like a plastic surgeon's daughter.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: That must be absolutely insane.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Like, if you think about it, like that has to be crazy, especially for somebody that age.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, like how are you supposed to deal with it?
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: And it already seems like she's being slightly taken advantage because he lives with her mom and then has like this stardom, and then she's expected to handle that, like out of the blue.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Because it's not like she was famous beforehand.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Also, like I know this was a long time ago, but she is like unrecognizable from the pictures, like it is really alarming how unrecognizable she is between then and now.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: It's it's a lot, it's a lot of face work.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: I keep seeing things, and they're like, how does her dad let her do?
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: But her dad is not her plastic surgeon.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: So whoever she's seeing to do her face is like not, I don't know.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: I think he should have stopped.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: I would never in a million years guess that the same person that is on Rony is the same person that was in the tabloids.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: I would have no idea that that was the same person.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: She and she's only a year older than I am, and she looks so much older than I was.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: I thought she was a lot older than that.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: She looks like she could be like Carol's age.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: No, I thought that she was a lot older.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And then also the other interesting part was like I still didn't like fully understand this, like how she got together with Ruben.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: So she said that they've known each other since she said since he was 12.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: So I'm not sure what that means.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: But um, like as far as how old she was, but she said that they've known each other since he was 12.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And so yeah, this situation was going on with the tabloids or whatever, and then she just kind of said, and that's when Ruben stepped in, and she sort of made it sound like her parents just like wanted her to like just get married and kind of just like do something respectable to like get the attention off of her.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Did you have feeling?
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was so easy.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: I felt she was like, Oh, I bumped into him on the vineyard, and my mom told me to do the polite thing and to like start this relationship with Ruben, so I did, and then we got married, and then I'm like, okay, but and he lets you do your thing.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: But he's like actually gay, though.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I don't maybe they both just needed like that safety net that she kept mentioning.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I am like do they have kids?
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: No, yeah, okay, no, so yeah, like he's actually gay, so I'm just like her, it's not like obviously we now know about lavender marriages because we talked about this last time, but like it just surprises me that her parents were like, Yeah, date him because did they not know that he was gay?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: I'm wondering if they were both kind of figuring out their sexuality at the time, and they found comfort in each other, and that's why they decided to go through with it.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: And then they kind of came up with like, oh, we've been friends for so long because she's known him since she was 12.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: He's comfort, security, and maybe we can make this work.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: She also said that he the arrangement is like he lets her do her thing, but she's also not allowed to date men.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: So maybe they do have a more in-depth relationship than we think.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm definitely curious.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: I don't think we're gonna get the answer because he does.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: He clearly wants to remain private, but yeah, it was still unclear to me.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Haley will get super high and we'll get a better confessional later on in the season.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: So then we get to Daisy and Carol walking in the park, and Carol always has these like huge headphones around her neck, like a pair of like bows.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Like it's like she's always ready to be on the go in her headphones.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's always wearing those, and I'm like, okay, just a random observation.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: But like they start discussing the book again and her friendship with Carolyn Bassett, and she obviously just like hates Jessel for all of the comments she made at the barn.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: She is not a fan whatsoever.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Daisy asks a little bit about the book, and then that's how it gets brought up with Jessel, and she was like, it doesn't make it okay for someone to deep dive on this relationship, whether or not I've talked about it.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: And she even says, like, she doesn't think that Jessel gets the point or like of the book, and then she brings up that people she was like at a friend's house that happened to be across the street from like where Caroline lived, and then they people she walked out of a friend's house and people were taking selfies in front of it, and she was like, Do they not understand?
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Like, that's weird.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, but like But at the same time That I don't really think is weird because there's a show out right now and it's really popular, and like they're not going, like, they're not trying to like go into the house.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: Like, people on the Salem like community forum, like people have all sorts of their own rules about what like tourists should and should not be doing in Salem.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, there's no like official rule though.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: Like, you might think that something is really offensive and annoying, but it's also like they're in a public space.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: Like, like there was a whole complaint about somebody complaining about like people taking pictures like in the cemetery, and like I get it, like the cemeteries are old, like people all some of the people that were buried there were like persecuted for witchcraft, and they're like not actually guilty of anything.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: And I understand it's like people that have died, but at the same time, it's like it's a public place that people take tours through, and like people are gonna take their camera out.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: Like, I wouldn't get so worked up and offended over somebody taking their camera out.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: I get your point, but it's like if you're gonna get offended by that, then like you shouldn't even leave your house.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: At that point, like I feel like if you think it's disrespectful, then okay, I get it, but it's also like them show like you said, the show just came out.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, people are at a tourist spot.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: It's literally called love story.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: They die in a traumatic way.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: There was like not, you know what I mean?
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Like, people are going.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: You're in a public spot in New York City, like they're not trying to like bust through the door and get into the house.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: No, no, it's just like the outdoor of it.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: So no, but I can kind of see like because Jessel presses presses the point, like at the brunch, and she is kind of rude about it because she straight up asks her, like, was Carolina bitch or whatever, and it's like, okay, yeah, and she was saying my out of family is like cursed.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: Well, because the the difference that there is that like Jessel's having a conversation with somebody who like knew them personally, so she's not approaching that with like any level of sensitivity, like she's asking all these questions that are really insensitive to somebody that was like really good friends with this woman, which is different than like you just standing in front of a building and like taking a picture, and you have you know, like you're not like hunting down family members and like talking to them about it.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like as like a grown adult, you should understand when you're talking about something and like that person's getting uncomfortable to like stop, and she just that thought that it was like the funnest conversation ever.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Like, she wasn't processing that they were close friends, Carol and Carolyn.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she just thought it was a whatever, which is like interesting though, because like I said in the last episode, people are skeptical of Carol because she's sold wedding pictures that like hadn't been released before, which is weird.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Like, what is her explanation for that?
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: As far as I know, there hasn't been an explanation.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: She just kind of did it when she had a chance to monopolize on it.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: So people are like, are is she playing it up now because now we have the TV show?
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: So Yeah, I don't know.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, not like the only person, like, unless other people come out and say that like she wasn't actually close friends with her, I guess we're not gonna know that.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: So Alright, yeah.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Then they Daisy like brings up the tutor.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's like saying that like she doesn't really think that anything, she doesn't really feel like she's been flirting with the tutor, and Carol was like, uh, you really need to tell Eugene about this.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And then Daisy like tells us that like she's not like sometimes she's into Eugene and sometimes she's not.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Eugene is not gonna like.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: I would be scared for Eugene to watch the season of the show because she said a couple of things in this episode about him, and I'm just like, you are not really talking that highly of your husband, and she was like saying that like right now they're not like really getting along, and when they get into fights, like he looks for his own apartment and she goes on Raya, and I'm like the Raya comment was crazy, and I'm like, okay, I think if he is like, Oh, I'm gonna like threaten to move out, but she's on a dating app.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: How is that different from him threatening to move out?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: It's both bad.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, it is.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: I think that's in I think it's crazy because they've been together for over 10 years, like because in the this episode.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: We've been together for over 10 years, so they're married and have like a family.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Like, that's like a really big statement.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Like, I can picture like 20-year-olds doing that when they're thinking she's exaggerating.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: No, I got these vibes from them before.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: I got these vibes from them last episode that they're not happy.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they don't seem to be gilling, and then she brings him up again.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: I just think that yeah, she really is flattered by this attention, and she's not like driving with Eugene.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Is she only with Eugene for the rent-controlled apartment?
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: I would never fucking leave that apartment if I were Eugene.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: There is no way.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: Never in a million years.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: Uh-uh.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: They pay like absolutely nothing, and he's been there 21 years.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: I would never, ever, ever leave that apartment.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: No.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: She has to stay.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:48SPEAKER_00: Okay, so speaking of, then we go to Daisy's and she's having Jessel and Erica over, and they are so fucking rude.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: This is where I got like really aggregate.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm like, they go over there and they're acting like she lives in like a fucking slum because it's an old apartment with popcorn ceiling.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, and they're just like they were so rude about it, and they were just like they were, and then like they're sitting on the couch, and Erica had something in her hair, and Jessel's like, it's come must be coming from the ceiling, like right in front of Daisy.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, that is and then she calls in the inside joke, yeah.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, This is like her actual home.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Like, that's so rude.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: I just they were like taking it too far, like they were being like such bitches and acting like she lived in like the most disgusting apartment ever.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: And Jessel made another comment about Brooklyn, like later in the episode.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: She's like, Oh, I never come to the like something, the bowels of Brooklyn or something.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Like, she said it like that.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And I was like, You're insulting this woman's like parents' house.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: Like you're being like a fucking bitch.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: I just don't like Jessel.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: It's I'm like, I'm over her.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: I thought it was so rude because Erica seemed a little bit more down to earth.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: She didn't know.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: And then it was like a hot mess.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: I yeah, I feel like she she does seem more down to earth, but yeah, she was going along with the behavior too.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Like she wasn't gonna, she wasn't like not laughing at it.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Like it just wasn't, it was very mean, girl.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: It was not nice.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: It was real like that would have made me super uncomfortable if like someone came into my apartment and when they asked Daisy about it, it was rough because Daisy was like, Oh no, Eugene's been here 21 years, it's rent controlled, I've been here 10 and like we're happy here, and yet they kept bragging on it.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they were like, You rent?
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, yeah, if I fucking had a rent-controlled apartment, you think I'm gonna go buy like a two million dollar property?
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: Like, no.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: I would never leave that apartment.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: And honestly, like if Martha Stewart can get her makeup down there, uh, it should be good enough for you to have a fucking glass of wine.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: Like, exactly.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: That's why I was just thinking, I was like, if Martha Stewart can hang out there, then you can like calm your shit and like stay at the apartment for a charcuterie and wine.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: I would never invite them over again after that.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: That was rude.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: Um right, so yeah, then she starts complaining about Eugene again and that he's only home for like one hour a day because he has all these private clients.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: But I was confused because I thought that the first episode, the problem was that she's the one that's never home and he's stuck with the kids all the time.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the way I thought it was in the first episode was she was traveling with Martha Stewart all the time.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: And so she wasn't home, and so she didn't get to see Eugene.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: But now in this episode, she's like, Oh, we see each other for like one hour a day.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: We're like passing ships.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I see some stuff brewing with them, especially when he watches this.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: I just I'd be worried.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: I really would.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Um, all right.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: Then Erin comes up and Erica and Jessel want to know what Aaron was whispering about after she like apologized at the end of the brunch, and Daisy like immediately rats her out and says she was like talking about this stupid like dermatologist thing again.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Which I don't even understand, but then we get the quote from Jessel that Aaron is Mariah Carey obsessed with her.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Jessile is like trying to go for a catchphrase this whole episode, and it's so annoying.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: I don't want to get to it yet because it's later, but there's like three different times during this episode where she's like desperately clawing at some sort of like like she's trying to get like the rosy, the Rosie Woods like slam pig quote, and it's like Jessel, this is not working, like it has to be natural.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: It sounds like you're just you it sounds like you thought of these and wrote them down, and you're like trying them out, and it's like not fucking.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: I saw a thing that said that Jessel consulted with Chad GPT first, and then just pulled them from there.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I swear to god, it's like she pre-planned them, and I was like, all of these are so lame, and some of them don't make any sense at all.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm just confused.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: No, she has to drag Aaron through like a whole thing with them about how she doesn't pay rent, how she's been sued, and how Aaron needs to like Google herself.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: And I was like, ooh, I mean, I don't like Aaron, but like Jessel was going low.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: So I do for somebody that is behind on like 44,000 plus another like 90,000 for various rents, Erin is quite judgmental because that is embarrassing.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: That is embarrassing to be in the news for that.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Like, even just the first one, like you're 44k behind on rent.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: That's like absurd.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Do you think that they only care though because she is on housewives?
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like yeah, we're gonna report a regular person being behind on rent, but that is a ludicrous amount to be behind.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Like, I know it's New York City, so your rent is super high, but that still is like that's way too much.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, like that's that's not acceptable.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, we find that out, and then we go to Haley's Pieditaire.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: I her like leopard feather robe was like the crazy amazing.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: This was a great look for her.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Um, yes, yeah, and we just like she's just talking to her mom.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, who she is best friends with, but that came with quotes because her and her mom have a complicated relationship, and her mom doesn't really get the hint when she wants to like hang up the phone.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but she talks to her mom every day, which I think is nice, but I hope it works out.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: But the quote here was that like she was telling your mom how her therapist told her how she needed to be in a queer bird watching group, and Haley went, but birds, how do you know if they're queer?
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: And her therapist was like, No, like I meant for like you.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: This is a hobby for LGBTQ people because my I mean, she's not the only one, but like my sister actually is like legitimately into bird watching, she has like the binoculars and everything.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Yes, I thought that was so funny when she said that the queer bird watching group.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: I was like, Christy loves bird watching.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: That is amazing.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: Yep, she has like a really nice pair.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: I think she has like a multiple pair of binoculars, actually.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: I bought Slay Nar a bird watching book, and we had a pair of binoculars forever, but they got lost at one point camping.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: I I'm good.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: I don't think I need binoculars.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: I would like a telescope.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that's definitely different.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: That's for space, not birds.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: So that's like would be my hobby that I'd be interested in of looking at things that are far away.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: Then we go to Erica's, and I mean, this is just like we're just getting a peek into what it's like to live as a billionaire.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: I was like, I can't relate to any of this, but I would have zero complaints if this was my.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: So we go there and she's just making a pizza with her private chef.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: Husband comes home, they're making that.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: She's talking about her life, and she's like, I haven't been in a grocery store in a year and a half.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: We have a private chef.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: I met my husband at one of my workout classes that I teach, and they got married in the pyramids, and they had a pre-wedding party in South America.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, in South Africa.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: And like I mean, it's just so I it just all sounds great.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't I was like, wow, like she just doesn't have to like do anything forever.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: I know, and she was and she I like how honest she is because she's like, I grew up wealthy, like in a privileged life in Wego, Texas, with my dad, who was a doctor.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: But she was like, This is beyond anything I could have comprehended even then, and so I'm glad that she realizes that life is like crazy for her.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: I think it's like a little bit more relatable, yeah.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: And it is cool that they met like with her teaching at the workout class, and it's funny that she thought his name was Anger for three years, yeah.
- 28:17SPEAKER_01: And it's like she was like, it'd be like him pronouncing my name wrong for three years is like Arika, and she was like, he just didn't correct me.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: That's so funny.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, she does seem down to earth.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, I mean, yeah, it just seems very like pretty perfect, even just looking at that kitchen.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: I was like, I really want to see what the rest of this place looks like.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: I hope we get like more views.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: I just want to see the good apartments, please.
- 28:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he seems like really nice.
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: He does, he doesn't seem like an asshole, but maybe because it doesn't seem like he's been a millionaire forever, because built is relatively new.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: The other thing too, she just casually was like, Oh, and then we have like this private island.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Oh, this yeah, I mean, yeah, I don't know, no more notes.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Like, I was just like, that was nice.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: If we get to the next episode, the private island, I think they own with a few more couples, but like they still have a private island and they like take turns.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: I think we have to catch up, but like it's been a major drama.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Why is it a major drama?
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: I guess because she calls it her private island, but because they own it with like another couple, like another few couples, that the girls were like mad that it wasn't really her private island, and I guess like there's some Daisy and Aaron drama on the island.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: So dumb.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: I don't want to not like Daisy, so I'm disappointed.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: I don't want to not like Daisy, but I don't know if I would go after somebody for not for having to share their private island with like six other people, right?
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I'd be like, good for you.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: You still have a fucking island.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: You could still all be on the island at the same time and like not ever see each other.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: Did you see how big that fucking house was?
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: It was insane.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: They could each have their own wing and they'd be fine.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: I would never care.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, Yeah, let's just all be here.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: I'm with you.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, anyway, yeah, then we go to Daisy's, and I thought it was so funny that she can just like call Martha Stewart to ask her about cornstarch and potato starch, just like cash, right?
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: And she was like, I just have to ask you, can I substitute potato starch with cornstarch?
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: And Martha Stewart's like, yeah, totally.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, can you imagine that you just get to call Martha Stewart while you're cooking?
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: That is so funny.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: Also, hearing, okay, so I've been trying to place this for the longest time, but hearing Martha Stewart's voice just like on the phone and not having like her, she sounds exactly like Kathy, Kathy Morningside from Miss Congeniality.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: And now that I've heard it, I like cannot unhear it.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: They have like the same voice, and they kind of look alike.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: And I just think Kathy Morningside was modeled after Martha Stewart.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe because they are like very similar, and I can't unsee it now.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: It could be.
- 31:38SPEAKER_01: I could totally see that actually being like the basis for her miscongeniality because they dress the same, they look the same, and they talk the same.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: I love that movie so much.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: So wear that yellow suit from episode one.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: And I watched that movie like on all my flights, so because they always have it on Delta, so I just like I can't unsee it now.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: I was like, such a good one.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was Kathy Morning's side.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: I've always wanted her purple dress.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I love that dress.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: I love that movie.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: I just love it.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: John and I John watched it for the first time with me a couple weeks ago, actually.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, it's such a good one.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Alright, then we have this extremely oh my god, I'm so glad we're getting to this part because this is what I was talking about earlier.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: This extremely awkward get together with Jessel and Aaron.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: I just cringe the whole fucking time.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: Like cring.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: So I guess Aaron and Jessel invites Aaron out to lunch, brunch, something.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: It's 8 30 in the morning.
- 32:49SPEAKER_01: 8 30.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, 8 30 in the morning.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: 8 30 in the morning for uh a hot water and lemon.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: I'm like, fuck no.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: No.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then Aaron gets an Arnold Palmer, and I'm like, you're going out for brunch, get a fuck mimosa.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: That's something like or a coffee or a tea, but you're getting a hot water and a lemon.
- 33:10SPEAKER_00: And a lemon at this like divey kind of place.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then this is a such issue to suggest brags on Aaron for not wearing high heels.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: She's immediately like, what are you wearing?
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my god.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: I'm like, it is 8 30 in the morning.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: I think I'm Team Aaron on this one.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: I might be in flats.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: It's 8 30 in the morning.
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: I would not even agree to this.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Like, this is somebody that you're fighting with that you don't like, and they want you to meet at 8 30 in the morning at this kind of like not even a restaurant.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, no, I don't want to meet here.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: Like they get into the fight about the dermatologist again, and Aaron straight up calls Jessel a clout chaser and tells her that she's snobby, which honestly, the way Jessel's been, I'm I agree with Aaron.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: And I don't even like Aaron.
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was so weird that like Jessel hears this thing about the dermatologist, and then she like immediately races to the dermatologist to like confront him to see if he said this.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't know if I would do this.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Like, this is weird.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: This is somebody that's like.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: It's a dermatologist.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: You see them once every year at Max Mom.
- 34:32SPEAKER_00: I mean, I probably just wouldn't go like if I really thought that like they were like speaking poorly of me to somebody else, I probably just like wouldn't go back there.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Like this guy's not like your friend.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't like go and like confront him with like a camera crew.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: Like it's so weird.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: Also, I don't know if he I'm like still questioning like what he said because like they did show him telling Jessel, like, oh, I didn't mind at all.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: I was not offended, but I also could kind of see him like talking a little bit of shit too.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Like, maybe he did, I don't know.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: But I'm like, He probably wants to say face, he doesn't want to look like an asshole now that he's got a camera crew in there.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like what's the purpose of like confronting this guy?
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: Like, he's not like a friend of yours, like, just don't go back there.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: Like, it was very weird, it was just weird.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: It was very strange, and it's super embarrassing, too.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, is this a fake name, Dr.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Belkin?
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: Like, is it I don't know.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: Like, I went to Dr.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: Belkin and I asked him, and I'm like, Dr.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: Belkin.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like I'm like reading like a mystery novel.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Oh no, it was so awkward, and this is where you get all those things you mentioned in the beginning.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, all the Jessel like one-liners.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: So why the first one?
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: I'll let you go over the other ones because they're good, but I'm just gonna clean this first one.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she tells Erin that she projects so much she should work in theater.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: Okay, and I'm like that was the first one.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: What the fuck did you come up with that?
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: She said, What are you talking about?
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: The lamest part about all this is she says like four, like one right after the other.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: Like, she's like, Oh, that one didn't wasn't like really mic drop, so let me just try this one.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: And all in one conversation, I'm like, space them out.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: Like, this is like so crazy.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: Someone said on Instagram, it's like she was having a chat GPT argument, and so she was just getting in her one-liners.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: It was while she goes so yeah, it was so like inauthentic and embarrassing.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, she said that.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Then she said, You're a one-man Ponzi scheme, which makes zero sense.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Because Aaron was like, Do you even know what a Ponzi scheme is?
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: No, because if she did, she would know that like a one-man Ponzi scheme doesn't make sense at all.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: And also, I'm like, don't see the connection.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: Like, even if you take out the one man and you just say Ponzi scheme, I'm like, how does that have anything to do with Aaron talking shit about you at Ultimate Girls Trip?
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Like, that's doesn't it doesn't make any sense?
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: It doesn't make any sense.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: Neither does bootleg Houdini.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: I'm like, and then it's a magician now.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: Uh magicians like ever.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I wouldn't even defend that because when she started defending it, I was like, it's embarrassing that you're even addressing this.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't even know what to say.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: A bootleg Houdini.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: Again, how is that relevant?
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: I don't get the connection.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: Like, a good jab has to have some sort of direct connection to what it is that you're fighting about.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was ridiculous, and it was like, she's like, because you make stuff up and you can bring stuff up out of nowhere.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, this makes no sense whatsoever.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: Grasping at straws, just I don't know.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: And then the last one I also didn't get.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: You think you're Zendaya, but you're fucking blossom.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: I didn't even hear that one.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: I think I was like checked out at that point.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, first of all, don't shit on blossom.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: Like, why are you shitting on blossom?
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: Blossom was a huge thing.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: Honestly, blossom in the 90s was probably bigger than Zendaya.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: I'm like a little offended that she was like shitting on blossom out of nowhere.
- 38:48SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that again, zero connection to what you're talking about.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: And like, why are you picking on blossom?
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: Like, blossom's awesome.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: This is where it comes up.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: Like, did she get this all from Chad GPT?
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: And she was like, Can you give me some one-liners?
- 39:00SPEAKER_01: That will be good.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: But like, also, why does she think that Aaron thinks she's Zendaya?
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: Zendaya.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: Zendaya's like 25 years old, like actress from Spider-Man?
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: I'm like, Yeah, how is Aaron trying to be like Zendaya?
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: I have no I is she try she's trying to say that she's like trying to be like her and euphoria, but at the same time of watch Euphoria, and I'm like, no, there's no relationship.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: I d I just zero connection.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: You're talking I just I'm confused.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: I'm so confused.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: I was like, none of these make any sense at all.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: And they're just so lame.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: And yeah, she said, no, it was really embarrassing.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: And then she said that and then she's like, Oh, you should Google yourself, babe.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Yeah, and then she was like, Erin has all these bad things about m herself, but then if you Google me, I'm just quoting fashion magazines, like vogue, and I want to be like, but no one is taking fashion advice from you.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: You look like absolute shit this season.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: I wrote down about her confessional that's just like that huge beaded necklace.
- 40:20unknown: Yeah.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, where does 1A get that and where do you keep it?
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: I can't stand your bangs.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: And the top you're wearing in the white confessional is horrible.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: No one is going.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: I have Jessel as my fashion icon.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: Well, also, she's saying that she loves this like simplistic Carolyn Bassette summer.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you're like the total opposite of that.
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Unless she's counting as like neutral colors.
- 40:50SPEAKER_01: And then she keeps going on about couture, and I'm like, I'm sorry, you were no, no, it's not working.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 40:58SPEAKER_01: So she storms out and like nothing was accomplished, and then we go to Jay Z parents' house for Seder.
- 41:07SPEAKER_00: I honestly think that the whole purpose of that I don't even want to call it breakfast because they did not eat, but like the whole purpose of that get together was just so she could confront her about the dermatologist.
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, it could have been a whole bravo ploy just for that.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wouldn't put it past them, but it was like I don't even understand the point of this, like whatsoever.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: Like, it's just so pointless.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: It'd be like there's no fucking way I'm meeting you at 8 30 in the morning.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: Like, we can go out and have a drink and talk if that's what you want to do.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: And then maybe Erin would have worn heels because apparently it's against the rules to wear flats.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: It was just really rude.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: Like, you just shouldn't, like, you're not you're already not getting along with someone, and the first thing you do is like insult their appearance.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: It's just fucking rude.
- 42:00SPEAKER_00: Like, you should not make that comment at all.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: I don't like Erin, but I don't think she looked bad for breakfast.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: I thought she looked completely normal.
- 42:09SPEAKER_01: It's not like she showed up in pajamas with slippers.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: No, she was fine, and it wasn't a nice place.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: Like I would be kind of it feel like it'd be weird to walk into that place in heels.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: It was like linoleum.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Wasn't it?
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: Like the top the tabletops were like like that was not like a restaurant.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: It looked like a diner.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: I just the only thing with Erin is like I really liked how she came to the Cedar or Seder.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: I don't know how to say that.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: Um, but I liked the white dress, but I really fucking hate that confessional look with the men's shirt because her fucking chest bones are just like all I'm just like, you are these some of these girls are way too fucking skinny.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Like I'm like, I can see your bones through your chest during the confessional, and you've got like a v-neck like down to like your.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, what are you doing?
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Like, no.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Like you gotta like, I don't really get on people about their weight, but it's like you really like that's way too skinny.
- 43:19SPEAKER_01: I have to say that everyone showed up to the Sedar, Sad Cedar, Sedar, Cedar, Cedar.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Everyone looked really good when they showed up to Daisy's parents' house.
- 43:32SPEAKER_01: But you would have thought that some of these women had never left like a renovated New York apartment in their life.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: Like just how they were like surprised.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: I'm like, there is nothing wrong.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: This is a family home where in is it in the it's in Brooklyn?
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: It's not the Brooklyn, it's Brooklyn, right?
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: No, it's Brooklyn.
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: You would have thought.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: They got transported to like a different planet.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I don't even understand.
- 44:06SPEAKER_01: It's just like a cozy home.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: You're telling me all their parents have like beautiful apartments in Manhattan.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: There's no way.
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: It's just 100% were all raised the same way.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: It's just rude.
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: Like, you can't, like, you are accepting an invitation to somebody's home.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: So even if you are a billionaire, like you accepted the invitation, you're going.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: If you actually do have any class and you were brought up wealthy and you know etiquette, you would know not to walk into somebody's home and insult it.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: Like it's fucking rude.
- 44:42SPEAKER_01: It's like I feel like Erica's house.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: I feel like Erica and Aaron were like the only two to like enter as like normal humans.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: I feel like everyone else, like Cy, Carol, Daisy, not Daisy, Cy, Carol, and Jessel were all like super judgmental, but everyone else seemed like relatively like normal about going to the house.
- 45:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:14unknown: Yeah.
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: What did you think?
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, I thought it was super rude that Jessel was two hours late.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, 100%.
- 45:22SPEAKER_00: And of course she showed up when Erin's reading out of the book.
- 45:25SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: And I do.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: I think Aaron was excited to be there.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: I think she was fine.
- 45:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I think Erica was okay.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: I just didn't, I just, yeah, some of the comments I was just like, this is just rude.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's just I just would never do that.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: I know I'm with you.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: And then I thought it was interesting that Daisy was like, some of the girls didn't bring a hostess gift, and I was like, you know what?
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: I kind of get it because I don't think I would show up without even like a bottle of wine.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: Like for this.
- 46:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I think that was weird.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: But I thought it was interesting.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: So everyone finally shows up.
- 46:12SPEAKER_01: Jessel wait.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: I loved Daisy's snakeskin halter top.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: I thought it was amazing.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: Erin's white dress was amazing.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: And then I like how Haley showed up, and you could like completely see through her shirt, and she had to wear her jacket the whole time.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: I was like, what is she wearing?
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: Dear Lord, she's a mess.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: But I like her.
- 46:32SPEAKER_01: A fun mess.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: Anyway, they all show up.
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: They finally get there.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: They're doing Erin is reading a book to kind of like explain, passover and say to her to everyone.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: And she's doing like an okay job.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: Jessel shows up late.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: She restarts.
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: They go over everything.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: And then she starts talking about how they've all been like after all the plagues.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: Like, this is why they're thankful and like they're going over whatever that little tray was, where like they take a bite of all these like little things and supposed to protect them from the plague.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: And then she assigns people plagues.
- 47:13SPEAKER_01: And this is where it gets a little crazy.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: So it's just like the masks in Rhode Island.
- 47:21SPEAKER_00: Like, here's all my passive-aggressive assignments for you to wear at the table.
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: So like everyone gets a plague, and like Sy gets flies.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: And then Aaron says it's because she likes to eat everything or something like that.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, what does that have to do with flies?
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Why do we have to assign everybody a plague?
- 47:47SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: And then she gives Erica a frog because Erica likes to jump around.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: And Haley gets hail.
- 48:01SPEAKER_01: And it's because she won to give Haley something that sounded like her name.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: But she originally wanted to give Haley lice, and Haley is like super offended and was like, if you give me lice, I would go over and visit your kids and give them lice.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: And then this is what starts a fight because Erin is mad that Haley called her boring like jam on a table at a diner.
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: And then like we sell right for it.
- 48:34SPEAKER_00: Again, like strawberry jam is really getting a bad rap in this episode, which I don't appreciate.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: Strawberry jam is delicious.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: And even at a breakfast place, it's delicious.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: There's other things that you could reference and not strawberry jam.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: Strawberry jam is really good.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: But it was, I just thought it was so funny that she like gives Haley the gift of jam of the month.
- 49:02SPEAKER_00: And it's like this luxury jam company, which I'd be like so happy by that.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: And then like, yes to toast.
- 49:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:11SPEAKER_00: And Haley just takes it and she's like, okay.
- 49:15SPEAKER_00: And then she's like, listen, Haley, I would rather be boring than break up the marriage of a guy who had eight kids.
- 49:26SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh my god.
- 49:28SPEAKER_00: Like, just like out of like nowhere.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: Like left field, absolutely nowhere.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: And that's where the episode ends.
- 49:35SPEAKER_01: And Haley is like, Haley's reaction is so weird though.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: Like, she's like, like, her face is so fucking frozen that you can tell she's like so angry, but she can't like fucking make a facial expression.
- 49:50SPEAKER_00: So that's like the first thing.
- 49:52SPEAKER_00: So when she's just like doing like these things, and I'm like, this is bizarre, and I just don't even know where this is going because she's like moving around, but like her face is just like not moving.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh my god, what is this?
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: I think he said she was clearly like too stunned to talk.
- 50:10SPEAKER_00: Like, she was like, But is that just because her face can't move, and that's why she looks so stunned?
- 50:16SPEAKER_00: Because I saw her go and like move for like she was like, like, it looked like she was getting ready for like a fist fight.
- 50:22SPEAKER_00: Like, didn't it?
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: It did.
- 50:24SPEAKER_00: I was I can't wait to watch the next episode.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: And I know the next episode is out and we haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but like I am definitely ready.
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: I need to see what happens.
- 50:37SPEAKER_01: I feel like Haley could definitely take Aaron in a fight.
- 50:41SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: Erin kind of is like Godzilla-like.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: Haley seems like honestly, like at that workout class that they were at last time, she seems really weak.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: I'm just I can't wait to see how this fight goes.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: I am definitely intrigued.
- 51:04SPEAKER_00: I'm intrigued.
- 51:05SPEAKER_00: I did think it was weird that we didn't see Sai at all this episode until like the end when she came to Cedar.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: She was also like, I think, a little overdressed for Cedar.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: I thought it was an interesting choice.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: It was an interesting just mix of outfits, let's be real.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: Like you had Daisy in her snakeskin top, Haley in her see-through top and leather jacket, Erin in that really cute dress, and then Erin's dress was really cute, but it did seem overdressed, and so did Sai.
- 51:44SPEAKER_00: I don't think they realized where they were.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 51:51SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 51:53SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so that covers that episode.
- 51:57SPEAKER_01: So we appreciate you guys listening to Real Housewas of New York.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: And we will see you on the next episode for number four.
