Woman Killed After Attempting to Ram ICE Officer · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

• 0:00
Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: car and to stop instructing obstructing law enforcement, but she
• 0:07
Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
• 0:10
Speaker 1: her vehicle and she attempted to run an law enforcement
• 0:13
Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
• 0:18
Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic terrorism.
• 0:23
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:27
Speaker 3: Good Thursday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:29
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got one major
• 0:31
Speaker 3: story for you. It deals with the events in Minnesota.
• 0:35
Speaker 3: A woman who decided to use her car as a
• 0:37
Speaker 3: weapon to run over ICE agents, the ICE agent shooting back,
• 0:42
Speaker 3: and unfortunately she lost her life. So why is the
• 0:45
Speaker 3: left weaponizing this and calling for more individuals to put
• 0:49
Speaker 3: their lives at risk as well? We'll break it all
• 0:52
Speaker 3: down for you, plus the facts of actually what happened.
• 0:55
Speaker 3: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 0:59
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 1:00
Speaker 3: There is one major story that we are going to
• 1:03
Speaker 3: deal with extensively. It deals with a woman who is
• 1:06
Speaker 3: fatally shot in Minneapolis by ICE and she was shot
• 1:10
Speaker 3: through the front of her windshield as she tried to
• 1:13
Speaker 3: drive over an ICE agent. There are a lot of
• 1:18
Speaker 3: lies online claiming that the ICE agent shut her through
• 1:22
Speaker 3: the passenger window. That did not happen. As the car wrecked,
• 1:27
Speaker 3: you can clearly see a bullet through the front window.
• 1:31
Speaker 3: That bullet hole is extremely important when it comes to
• 1:35
Speaker 3: evidence because it shows that that car was driving directly
• 1:39
Speaker 3: towards the ICE agent when he had no other choice
• 1:43
Speaker 3: but to shoot to protect and save his own life
• 1:46
Speaker 3: and others around him. This was preventable. It is also
• 1:51
Speaker 3: tragic when someone loses their life, But what also is
• 1:55
Speaker 3: preventable is the anarchy that is being advocated by the left.
• 2:01
Speaker 3: To be clear, this woman and others had an essence
• 2:05
Speaker 3: joined together to follow, to stalk, and to stop ICE
• 2:09
Speaker 3: agents from doing their job. If I don't want to
• 2:14
Speaker 3: pay my taxes, it doesn't mean that I can drive
• 2:17
Speaker 3: my car into well the IRS building. If I think
• 2:23
Speaker 3: my tax rate is too high, it doesn't mean that
• 2:25
Speaker 3: I can just go after IRS agents. You go to
• 2:29
Speaker 3: your members of Congress, you plead your case, you vote
• 2:34
Speaker 3: on election day, you get involved and pick people that
• 2:37
Speaker 3: you believe are going to side with you. But what
• 2:40
Speaker 3: the Left has done is they have told their followers
• 2:43
Speaker 3: that they can go out and just do whatever they
• 2:45
Speaker 3: want to do without any accountability, Which brings me back
• 2:50
Speaker 3: to what I said. This was a preventable death, a
• 2:54
Speaker 3: death that was inspired by the anarchists on the left
• 2:58
Speaker 3: who are advocating for pace to literally be vigilantes, and
• 3:02
Speaker 3: when you do this, it can cost people their lives.
• 3:06
Speaker 3: What's also really sick about this woman losing her life
• 3:10
Speaker 3: is the fact that the left is actually excited over it.
• 3:15
Speaker 3: They wanted something like this to happen so that they
• 3:18
Speaker 3: could then use it to attack Donald Trump and ICE agents.
• 3:22
Speaker 3: They were looking for a flash point, whereas Democrats have said,
• 3:26
Speaker 3: you never let a crisis go to waste, which brings
• 3:30
Speaker 3: me to Christino. Christy know, the woman in charge the
• 3:35
Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security was in Minneapolis and she had
• 3:40
Speaker 3: very clear message for the men and women in uniform
• 3:43
Speaker 3: and actually the facts around this case. I want to
• 3:46
Speaker 3: play that for you in a moment, but before I
• 3:48
Speaker 3: even do that, I want you to also hear what
• 3:50
Speaker 3: Jadie Vance said. He put out a tweet a couple
• 3:53
Speaker 3: hours ago saying, quote, I want every ICE officer to
• 3:57
Speaker 3: know that their president Vice present, and the entire administration
• 4:02
Speaker 3: stands behind them. To the radicals assaulting them, doxing them,
• 4:08
Speaker 3: and threatening them, Congratulations, We're going to work even harder
• 4:13
Speaker 3: to enforce the law. Secretary Nome detailing the self defense
• 4:17
Speaker 3: shooting in Minneapolis, and here is what she had to say.
• 4:21
Speaker 1: Any loss of life is a tragedy, and I think
• 4:24
Speaker 1: all of us can agree that in this situation, it
• 4:27
Speaker 1: was preventable. I've spoken to the President today on the
• 4:30
Speaker 1: situation here on the ground. I also just got off
• 4:32
Speaker 1: the phone a little while ago with Governor Walls and spoke.
• 4:35
Speaker 4: To him as well.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: I want to reiterate first with all of you.
• 4:38
Speaker 4: The facts of what happened today.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: At ten twenty five am Central time, Immigration and Customs
• 4:44
Speaker 1: enforcement were carrying out lawful operations here in Minneapolis because
• 4:48
Speaker 1: of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: One of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle, and
• 4:58
Speaker 1: when a mob of agitation that were harassing them all
• 5:01
Speaker 1: day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding
• 5:05
Speaker 1: law enforcement operations, ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle
• 5:10
Speaker 1: of the individual in question, who was blocking the officers
• 5:13
Speaker 1: in with her vehicle, and she had been stalking and impeding.
• 5:16
Speaker 4: Their work all throughout the day.
• 5:18
Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
• 5:21
Speaker 1: car and to stop instructing obstructing law enforcement, but she
• 5:25
Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
• 5:29
Speaker 1: her vehicle, and she attempted to run an law enforcement
• 5:32
Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
• 5:37
Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic
• 5:40
Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. The ICE officer, fearing for his life and
• 5:44
Speaker 1: the other officers around him and the safety of the public,
• 5:48
Speaker 1: fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his
• 5:51
Speaker 1: own life and that of his colleagues. He was treated
• 5:54
Speaker 1: at a local hospital, has been released and is now
• 5:56
Speaker 1: with family. I encourage the American people at this point
• 6:00
Speaker 1: time to pray for him, but also to pray for
• 6:02
Speaker 1: the deceased family and her loved ones. Today alone in
• 6:07
Speaker 1: this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks
• 6:10
Speaker 1: on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles. Three of
• 6:14
Speaker 1: them happened here in Minneapolis. We've seen over one hundred
• 6:18
Speaker 1: of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks, and
• 6:21
Speaker 1: this must stop. ICE alone is facing a thirteen hundred
• 6:25
Speaker 1: percent increase in assaults against them and an eight thousand
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: percent increase.
• 6:30
Speaker 4: In death threats against all of them.
• 6:32
Speaker 1: In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today
• 6:35
Speaker 1: had previously been dragged by an anti ICE rioder who
• 6:39
Speaker 1: had rammed him with a car and drug him back
• 6:42
Speaker 1: in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: And let me remind you why we're all here in
• 6:48
Speaker 1: the city today and why we've been here in communities
• 6:51
Speaker 1: across this country and here in Minneapolis. We're just enforcing
• 6:55
Speaker 1: the laws that we have in this country. For years,
• 6:57
Speaker 1: under President Biden, tens of millions of dangerous criminal illegal aliens, terrorists,
• 7:03
Speaker 1: and suspected terrorists were allowed to invade our country over
• 7:06
Speaker 1: our southern border. They were allowed to steal, to defraud,
• 7:10
Speaker 1: and to perpetuate violence against American citizens. Regardless of who
• 7:14
Speaker 1: your mayor or who your governor is. President Trump promised
• 7:18
Speaker 1: every single American that he would make America safe again.
• 7:22
Speaker 1: He promised every single American that he would work to
• 7:25
Speaker 1: protect them from dangerous criminals. Since Governor Walls has been
• 7:29
Speaker 1: in charge of Minnesota, we have seen homicides go up
• 7:32
Speaker 1: by over fifty percent. That's also during Mayor Fries's tenure
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: as well.
• 7:38
  Speaker 4: Since President Trump.
• 7:38
Speaker 1: Took office, Governor Walls has released over four hundred and
• 7:42
Speaker 1: seventy violent criminals back onto the streets here in Minneapolis.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: He has another six hundred and eighty of them still
• 7:49
Speaker 1: within his jurisdiction that he could give to us today
• 7:52
Speaker 1: to face the consequences for their crimes. Because Governor Walls
• 7:56
Speaker 1: and Mayor Fry refused to protect Minnesotan's and its, it's dead,
• 8:00
Speaker 1: they protect these criminals. That's why we are here. And
• 8:03
Speaker 1: we didn't just show up yesterday. We've always been here.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: But we're surging operations because of the dangerous situation we
• 8:09
Speaker 1: see in this country and because we're no longer going
• 8:12
Speaker 1: to allow illegal criminals to damage and harm, to kill,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: to sexually abuse, to proliferate drugs, and to steal American
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: taxpayers dollars.
• 8:22
Speaker 3: Let me just stop there for a moment. You listen
• 8:26
Speaker 3: to what happened in this situation. The woman is ordered
• 8:31
Speaker 3: out of her car, she refuses. She then uses that
• 8:36
Speaker 3: car and backs it up. She then drives forward literally
• 8:41
Speaker 3: into an ICE agent. The ICE agent pulls out, is
• 8:45
Speaker 3: gone only when she starts moving towards his body, into
• 8:51
Speaker 3: his body. This is self defense. That should be a
• 8:58
Speaker 3: simple case close. But you have these radicals on the
• 9:03
Speaker 3: left who are sitting there and they are saying that
• 9:06
Speaker 3: somehow this was not a justifiable shooting. She proceeded to
• 9:12
Speaker 3: weaponize her car. I want to go back to that
• 9:15
  Speaker 3: with Christy.
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: No.
• 9:16
  Speaker 3: Listen again carefully.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: At ten twenty five am Central time, Immigration and Customs
• 9:22
Speaker 1: enforcement were carrying out lawful operations here in Minneapolis because
• 9:27
Speaker 1: of the adverse weather that Minneapolis has seen in recent snow.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: One of the vehicles became stuck and ensnared in the snow.
• 9:33
Speaker 1: Law enforcement were attempting to push out this vehicle, and
• 9:36
Speaker 1: when a mob of agitators that were harassing them all
• 9:40
Speaker 1: day began blocking them in, shouting at them, and impeding.
• 9:43
  Speaker 4: Law enforcement operations.
• 9:45
Speaker 1: ICE officers and agents approached the vehicle of the individual
• 9:49
Speaker 1: in question who was blocking the officers in with her vehicle,
• 9:52
Speaker 1: and she had been stalking and impeding.
• 9:54
Speaker 4: Their work all throughout the day.
• 9:57
Speaker 1: ICE agents repeatedly ordered her to get out of the
• 9:59
Speaker 1: ca and to stop in obstructing law enforcement, but she
• 10:04
Speaker 1: refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize
• 10:07
Speaker 1: her vehicle and she attempted to run an law enforcement
• 10:10
Speaker 1: officer over. This appears as an attempt to kill or
• 10:15
Speaker 1: to cause bodily harm to agents, an act of domestic
• 10:19
Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. The ice officer, fearing for his life and
• 10:23
Speaker 1: the other officers around him and the safety of the public,
• 10:26
Speaker 1: fired defensive shots. He used his training to save his
• 10:29
Speaker 1: own life and that of his colleagues. He was treated
• 10:32
Speaker 1: at a local hospital, has been released and is now
• 10:34
Speaker 1: with family. I encourage the American people at this point
• 10:38
Speaker 1: in time to pray for him, but also to pray
• 10:40
Speaker 1: for the deceased family and her loved ones.
• 10:43
Speaker 3: That is compassion by the Department Point Security telling compassionately
• 10:52
Speaker 3: pray for this woman. Apparently the wife of this woman
• 10:57
Speaker 3: was outside the car and filming her while she was
• 11:00
Speaker 3: actively blocking Ice vehicles. Apparently, after the shooting, it's being reported,
• 11:05
Speaker 3: she ran back to check on renee. She tells a
• 11:09
Speaker 3: near my man, that's my wife. When asked if she
• 11:11
Speaker 3: can call family, she says, we're new here. I don't
• 11:13
Speaker 3: have people. I can't even breathe right now it is
• 11:17
Speaker 3: incredibly sad to see that the left has decided to
• 11:21
Speaker 3: weaponize their own followers and put them in harm's way.
• 11:29
Speaker 3: But this was a domestic tear attack in Minneapolis against
• 11:32
Speaker 3: ICE agents. Hundreds of ICE agents have been rammed by cars,
• 11:38
Speaker 3: which are deadly weapons. Where do you think they learn
• 11:42
Speaker 3: to do this to impede to stop law enforcement, who,
• 11:46
Speaker 3: by the way, are just doing their jobs. Sinator Mullen
• 11:52
Speaker 3: put it this way, saying, quote, ICE agents aren't Disney villains.
• 11:56
Speaker 3: There are neighbors, friends and loved ones. These immigration and
• 11:59
Speaker 3: customs enforcement officers are red blood American patriots doing a
• 12:03
Speaker 3: tough job to keep our nation safe. Assaults against ICE
• 12:07
Speaker 3: agents because of the Democratic Party, because of the left
• 12:10
Speaker 3: roup one three hundred percent. He then said, I stand
• 12:13
Speaker 3: with DHS Congress Sandy Barr. ICE agents are enforcing America's
• 12:18
Speaker 3: laws and delivering exactly what the people voted for. Secure
• 12:24
Speaker 3: border and the deportations of dangerous illegal criminals. Targeting ICE
• 12:29
Speaker 3: agents will never end well for anyone who tries Homeland security.
• 12:34
Speaker 3: Putting it out this way, saying this today, ICE officers
• 12:37
Speaker 3: in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when riders began blocking
• 12:43
Speaker 3: Ice officers. In one of these violent rioters weaponized their vehicle,
• 12:47
Speaker 3: attempting to run over law enforcement officers and attempt to
• 12:50
Speaker 3: kill them an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer,
• 12:54
Speaker 3: fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law
• 12:56
Speaker 3: enforcement and safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He
• 13:01
Speaker 3: uses training and saved his own life and that of
• 13:03
Speaker 3: his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and his deceased.
• 13:08
Speaker 3: The Ice officers who were heart or expected to make
• 13:10
Speaker 3: full recoveries. This is the direct consequence of constant attacks
• 13:17
Speaker 3: and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel
• 13:23
Speaker 3: and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are
• 13:27
Speaker 3: facing this one three hundred percent increase in assaults against
• 13:30
Speaker 3: them and an eight thousand percent increase in death threats.
• 13:37
Speaker 3: I couldn't agree more. I could not agree more with
• 13:41
Speaker 3: the law enforcement Department of Home Insecurities saying we are
• 13:46
Speaker 3: just enforcing the law. We're doing our job. Why was
• 13:50
Speaker 3: this woman in a situation where she thought she could
• 13:53
Speaker 3: do this. It's very simple. She didn't want to be
• 13:57
Speaker 3: held accountable for blocking the Department of Homeland Security and
• 14:02
Speaker 3: ICE agents, and she decided she decided to go after
• 14:08
Speaker 3: and use her car as a deadly weapon. The driver
• 14:12
Speaker 3: refused to get out, accelerated towards the agent directly in
• 14:16
Speaker 3: front of the car. He fired rounds, killing her. And
• 14:18
Speaker 3: the leftists are then promising violent retribution towards ICE agents,
• 14:23
Speaker 3: wanting to kill more ICE agents. By the way, they've
• 14:26
Speaker 3: already shot ICE agents. I'll give you an example of
• 14:31
Speaker 3: what the left's putting online. One person on x wrote,
• 14:34
Speaker 3: all ICE agents must be put down like the dogs
• 14:36
Speaker 3: they are. This is the Democratic Party, this is the
• 14:41
Speaker 3: party of violence. Look no further than how they reply
• 14:46
Speaker 3: online to this. Let me say one final thing, God
• 14:52
Speaker 3: bless are men and women who are willing to go
• 14:55
Speaker 3: do these jobs. They are getting more and more dangerous.
• 15:00
Speaker 3: It's the governor of that state. He called the ICE
• 15:02
Speaker 3: agents months ago the Gestapo. This is exactly why stuff
• 15:08
Speaker 3: happens like this. This woman and around the country, we've
• 15:12
Speaker 3: seen hundreds of ramming of ICE agents this year. In
• 15:18
Speaker 3: the last month, we've seen more than one hundred ramming
• 15:20
Speaker 3: with cars of ICE agents. It results in her life
• 15:24
Speaker 3: being lost because of the Left who is inspiring her
• 15:29
Speaker 3: to go do this and trying to make her believe
• 15:31
Speaker 3: that somehow this is acceptable. What's also shocking is the
• 15:37
Speaker 3: mayor there, the mayor saying disgusting things about our men
• 15:42
Speaker 3: and women in uniform after this happened, the mayor saying this,
• 15:47
Speaker 3: and I want you to listen carefully to the words
• 15:50
Speaker 3: that he decided to use.
• 15:52
Speaker 5: There's little I can say again that'll make this situation better.
• 15:56
Speaker 5: But I do have a message for our community, for
• 15:59
Speaker 5: us city, and I have a message for ICE to
• 16:05
Speaker 5: ICE get the out of Minneapolis.
• 16:09
Speaker 3: That is the Democratic mayor Jacob Fries's message to our
• 16:13
Speaker 3: brave ICE agents in Minneapolis who are getting the worst
• 16:15
Speaker 3: criminals off of his streets. And this deranged lunatic of
• 16:20
Speaker 3: a mayor who is inspiring other lunatics to try to
• 16:24
Speaker 3: murder those ICE agents, he says, get the f out
• 16:29
Speaker 3: of Minneapolis. The Democratic Party's violent rhetoric is what is
• 16:33
Speaker 3: fueling these attacks on ICE agents. And they do not
• 16:37
Speaker 3: care about this woman, because if they did care about
• 16:42
Speaker 3: this woman, they wouldn't be telling her to go out
• 16:45
Speaker 3: and to do this. Period. And by the way, if
• 16:49
Speaker 3: you think that the mayor of Minneapolis is going to
• 16:53
Speaker 3: come to his senses and ratchet this down, this rhetoric
• 16:58
Speaker 3: which is calling for the attacks on ICE agents. I
• 17:01
Speaker 3: want you to listen to the second part of what
• 17:03
Speaker 3: he had to say carefully.
• 17:04
Speaker 6: People are being hurt, Families are being ripped apart. Long
• 17:09
Speaker 6: term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city,
• 17:14
Speaker 6: to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized. And
• 17:17
Speaker 6: now somebody is dead. That's on you, and it's also
• 17:24
Speaker 6: on you to leave.
• 17:25
Speaker 3: It's on you, and it's on you to leave. It's
• 17:28
Speaker 3: amazing how they care so much about the life of
• 17:31
Speaker 3: this woman who tried to run over an ICE agent,
• 17:36
Speaker 3: but they don't care the lives about the lives of
• 17:38
Speaker 3: those in Minneapolis who have been murdered by the same
• 17:42
Speaker 3: exact criminals, or raped or beaten or stolen from They
• 17:48
Speaker 3: do not care about those people's lives. They don't care
• 17:56
Speaker 3: about the countless people in Minneapolis that have been murdered
• 17:59
Speaker 3: by illegal immigrants. And there have been countless. There have
• 18:03
Speaker 3: been people that have been killed by illegal immigrants who
• 18:07
Speaker 3: were driving drunk or under the influence of drugs. There
• 18:10
Speaker 3: are people that have died at the hands of illegal
• 18:12
Speaker 3: immigrants because they sold them fake pills laced with fetanyl.
• 18:16
Speaker 3: This is the reality of the situation. Scott Jennings, good
• 18:21
Speaker 3: friend of mine over at CNN. He went on there
• 18:23
Speaker 3: and he said it this way, and I couldn't agree
• 18:26
  Speaker 3: with him more.
• 18:27
Speaker 7: What strikes me is, first of all, it's extremely sad
• 18:30
Speaker 7: and unfortunate that someone died. I mean the political fighting
• 18:33
Speaker 7: and disagreements aside. It's terrible. You don't want people to
• 18:37
Speaker 7: die in law enforcement situations or otherwise. But it strikes
• 18:41
Speaker 7: me that we are undergoing an epidemic of political vigilanteism
• 18:45
Speaker 7: right now. Why are people showing up in vehicles in convoys,
• 18:51
Speaker 7: not just in Minneapolis, but all over the country in
• 18:54
