- 0:00Vox Liturgica: The Propers of the Day according to the 1962 Roman Missal. The Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, June 27 in the year of our Lord 2026. In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost. Amen.
- 0:29The introit.
- 0:32Let us all rejoice in the Lord, celebrating a festival day in honor of the blessed Virgin Mary on whose solemnity the angels rejoice and give praise to the son of God. My heart hath uttered a good word. I speak my works to the king. Glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy ghost as it was in the beginning is now and will be through all ages of ages. Amen.
- 1:07Let us all rejoice in the Lord, celebrating a festival day in honor of the blessed Virgin Mary, on whose solemnity the angels rejoice and give praise to the son of God. The Collect. Let us pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, by whose gift Mary thy mother, that Mary whose glorious image we revere is our mother too and ready at all times to help us. We pray thee grant that we who earnestly beg her maternal help may be counted worthy to reap through all eternity the fruit of thy redeeming work.
- 1:59Thou who art God, living and reigning with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen. A lesson from the wisdom of Sirach. No vine ever yielded fruit so fragrant. The enjoyment of honor and riches is the fruit I bear.
- 2:27It is I that give birth to all noble loving, all reverence, all true knowledge, and the holy gift of hope. From me comes every grace of faithful observance. From me, all promise of life and vigor. Hither turn your steps, all you that have learned to long for me. Take your fill of the increase I yield.
- 2:58Never was honey so sweet as the influence I inspire. Never honeycomb as the gift I bring. Mine is a renowned that endures age after age. Eat of this fruit, and you will yet hunger for more. Drink of this wine, and your thirst for it is still unquenched.
- 3:24He who listens to me will never be disappointed. He who lives by me will do no wrong. He who reads my lesson aright will find in it life eternal. The gradual, Fair and gentle art thou, daughter of Zion, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army drawn up for battle. What blessing the power of the Lord has granted thee, making use of thee to bring our enemies to nothing.
- 4:08Alleluia. Alleluia. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women. Alleluia.
- 4:25A continuation of the holy gospel according to John. At that time, his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopus, and Mary Magdalene had taken their stand beside the cross of Jesus. And Jesus seeing his mother there and the disciple too whom he loved standing by said to his mother, woman, this is thy son. Then he said to the disciple, this is thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her into his own keeping.
- 5:16The offertory. Be mindful, o virgin mother, to speak good things in the presence of God on our behalf to avert his anger from us. The secret. By thy gracious mercy, O Lord, and at the intercession of the blessed Virgin Mother Mary, let this offering bring us prosperity and peace now and forevermore through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen.
- 6:07The preface of Our Lady. It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto thee, O Holy Lord, Father Almighty, everlasting God. And that we should praise and bless and proclaim thee in the veneration of blessed Mary ever virgin, who also conceived thine only begotten son by the overshadowing of the Holy Ghost and the glory of her virginity still abiding, gave forth to the world the everlasting light, Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom the angels praise thy majesty, the dominions worship it, and the power stand in awe. The heavens and the heavenly hosts, together with the blessed Seraphim, in triumphant chorus, unite to celebrate it. Together with them, we entreat thee that thou mayest bid our voices also to be admitted, while we say with humble praise.
- 7:23Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. The heavens and the earth are full of thy glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
- 7:47The communion. Most noble queen of the world, Mary ever virgin, intercede for our peace and salvation who did spring forth Christ our Lord, the savior of all mankind. The post communion. Let us pray. May the holy intercession of thy immaculate mother Mary, ever Virgin, help us, we beseech thee, O Lord, that those on whom she has lavished unceasing favors may be freed from all dangers, and by her loving kindness become of one mind, who liveth and reignest with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages.
- 8:44Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy ghost. Amen. O mother of perpetual help, grant that I may ever invoke thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O purest Mary, O sweetest Mary, let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips.
- 9:20Delay not, O blessed lady, to help me whenever I call on thee. For in all my needs, in all my temptations, I shall never cease to call on thee ever repeating thy sacred name, Mary, Mary. Oh, what consolation, what sweetness, what confidence, what emotion fill my soul when I pronounce thy sacred name, or even only think of thee. I thank God for having given thee for my good, so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering thy name.
- 10:07Let my love for thee prompt me ever to hail thee, mother of perpetual help. Amen.
