• 3:46
The 2025 NBA Finals will feature a thrilling
• 3:50
matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and
• 3:53
the Indiana Pacers, two franchises with intriguing
• 3:56
connections. Both teams excel at avoiding turnovers
• 4:01
and maintain a fast pace, while neither relies
• 4:04
heavily on three -point shooting. The key to
• 4:07
their success stems from a pivotal trade involving
• 4:10
star player Paul George. Drafted by the Pacers,
• 4:14
George was later traded to the Thunder, setting
• 4:16
in motion a series of moves that led both teams
• 4:19
to the finals. The upcoming showdown is a testament
• 4:23
to the impact of trading Paul George. In local
• 4:28
sports, yesterday afternoon at Fenway, the Sox
• 4:32
triumphed over the Braves 3 -1. Trevor Story's
• 4:36
key double brought home two in the first, while
• 4:39
Crochet's... Stellar pitching struck out 12 across
• 4:42
seven innings. Despite a solo homer from Ozuna,
• 4:46
the Braves couldn't catch up. Crochet nabbed
• 4:50
the win, Elder took the loss, and Chapman earned
• 4:53
the save. The Sox now boast a 29 -23 record as
• 4:59
they continue to shine in the back bay. Tonight,
• 5:03
the Sox face the Angels at Fenway for Game 1
• 5:06
of a three -game series. Richard Fitz, boasting
• 5:11
a 2 .70 ERA, takes the mound against Tyler Anderson,
• 5:15
  who has a 3 .39 ERA. First pitch is at 7 .10
• 5:22
under clear skies with temperatures around 67
• 5:25
degrees. In top news, in a shocking revelation,
• 5:32
North Korea has been infiltrating Western companies
• 5:35
by placing young information technology workers
• 5:38
under false identities. These operatives, often
• 5:42
trained in cyber warfare, are using advanced
• 5:45
  techniques, including artificial intelligence,
• 5:48
to secure remote jobs. A case involving Christina
• 5:52
Chapman, who facilitated these operations, highlights
• 5:55
the extent of this scheme. Federal investigators
• 5:59
found her housing dozens of laptops linked to
• 6:02
North Korean agents, aiding them in bypassing
• 6:05
security measures. As the pandemic surged remote
• 6:10
work, the number of North Korean cyberoperatives
• 6:13
has increased significantly, posing a serious
• 6:16
threat to global cybersecurity. In business news,
• 6:22
Chinese electric vehicle makers are gaining traction.
• 6:26
pulling ahead of Tesla with impressive sales
• 6:28
figures. In May, NIO, Xpeng, and Li Auto together
• 6:34
  delivered almost 98 ,000 vehicles, marking a
• 6:38
50 % increase from last year. BYD, the largest
• 6:44
electric vehicle maker in China, reported over
• 6:47
200 ,000 all -electric vehicles delivered, up
• 6:51
40 % year -on -year. Meanwhile... Tesla's sales
• 6:55
in China fell to about 58 ,000 cars in April,
• 6:59
down 6%. Despite this, Tesla's stock has surged
• 7:03
nearly 100 % over the past year, fueled by investor
• 7:08
optimism in artificial intelligence and upcoming
• 7:11
ventures like a rogo -taxi business. In crypto
• 7:15
movement, Bitcoin is down 1 % over the weekend
• 7:19
  to $105 ,000. Ethereum is down 0 .5 % to just
• 7:25
over $2 ,500. And Goatseys Maximus is down 6
• 7:30
% to $0 .12. Moving on to a more local vibe.

• 8:16
Morning sent you by. And now, back to the show.
• 8:21
Let's talk tech. In a landscape rapidly evolving
• 8:25
in artificial intelligence, the emergence of
• 8:28
DeepSeek, a Chinese startup, is challenging United
• 8:31
States dominance. Founder Lian Wenfeng, often
• 8:35
referred to as Tech Madman, empowers young researchers
• 8:39
at DeepSeek, which recently gained international
• 8:42
attention with its R1 model. outperforming established
• 8:46
Western counterparts while claiming to have built
• 8:48
it at a fraction of the cost of OpenAI's GPT
• 8:52
-4. Despite allegations of government ties and
• 8:56
data theft, DeepSeek continues to thrive. In
• 9:00
a nation where innovation is fueled by state
• 9:02
support, its story underscores China's burgeoning
• 9:06
tech prowess and the shifting dynamics in the
• 9:09
AI race. and in entertainment news. YouTube is
• 9:16
  transforming the entertainment landscape, increasingly
• 9:19
  competing with traditional television, particularly
• 9:23
sitcoms. For years, the platform has asserted
• 9:27
that young people don't watch cable. They watch
• 9:30
  YouTube. However, challenges remain, including
• 9:34
perceptions of low -quality content. To elevate
• 9:38
its image, YouTube invested $100 million in original
• 9:42
  programming and attempted various initiatives,
• 9:45
ultimately seeing success with creators like
• 9:48
Alan Chicken Chow and Starman. Their scripted
• 9:53
shows resonate with younger audiences, as YouTube
• 9:56
now claims over 12 % of television viewing in
• 9:59
the United States. As viewership grows, YouTube
• 10:03
is poised to become a dominant force in media.
• 10:06
challenging Hollywood's status quo. Well, all
• 10:11
righty, folks, it's time for the quote of the
• 10:13
day. And today, our quote comes from the American
• 10:17
inventor and visionary Thomas Edison. And he
• 10:22
said, the value of an idea lies in the using
• 10:25
of it. And that's a wrap for this morning. You
• 10:30
can check out our Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

• 10:37
news and the weather reports. Have an amazing
