- 0:12Speaker 2: I need it is Friday morning, tubs. Put your hands up.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I want to see him back room. I'm so excited
- 0:21Speaker 2: for a Friday morning. I had a tiptoe. You know,
- 0:23Speaker 2: my mom is my family staying with me and so
- 0:27Speaker 2: uh and I get up before everybody else, and normally
- 0:30Speaker 2: I'm alone when I get up, so I can make
- 0:32Speaker 2: all kinds of noise. I can moan, I can grint,
- 0:35Speaker 2: I can grind my beans. But I'm having to be
- 0:37Speaker 2: very quiet because my mom told me yesterday. She goes,
- 0:40Speaker 2: you know, you're very loud when you wake up. Shock her. Yeah, well,
- 0:45Speaker 2: because I'm not used to.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Ring room monitoring me clanking around.
- 0:48Speaker 2: She said, could you not put your shoes on when
- 0:51Speaker 2: you get up. I don't put my shoes on. I
- 0:53Speaker 2: put my ugs on, which have tread my shoes.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Gosh, the stomping alone, yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 2: The stomping, the riding of the beans, the clanking of
- 1:02Speaker 2: the straw in the cough, you know, because I suck
- 1:04Speaker 2: my coffee through the glass straw, So not to stain
- 1:06Speaker 2: my teeth because it's so dark and black and strong
- 1:08Speaker 2: the coffee.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Yes, Tanya, you should get them a white noise machine
- 1:12Speaker 4: for when you wake up.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Maybe you'd help with that. Okay, maybe you'd help with that. Yeah,
- 1:18Speaker 2: if you want to send us a little white noise anyway,
- 1:20Speaker 2: Happy to have them here. I think my niece is
- 1:22Speaker 2: going to be a guest later. Right, she's coming on
- 1:24Speaker 2: because she's very excited excited about her Disneyland trip. We're going.
- 1:30Speaker 2: We're taking it on this weekend. How are you, sicany?
- 1:33Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Tanya made me breakfast this morning, which was really nice.
- 1:37Speaker 5: I'm glad you liked it.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Like, what did you make for Siciny?
- 1:40Speaker 6: I made her an egg pod m It had mushrooms, spinach,
- 1:47Speaker 6: cottage cheese yep, and then a little bit of cheddar
- 1:49Speaker 6: cheese yep.
- 1:50Speaker 2: You see. That is what if you think about just
- 1:53Speaker 2: random acts of kindness for the people you work with,
- 1:55Speaker 2: that goes such a long way. If you were to
- 1:57Speaker 2: bring me one of those, I wouldn't eat it because
- 1:59Speaker 2: of the cheese, but so much protein, I know, but
- 2:02Speaker 2: I'm trying not to eat there because it messes with
- 2:04Speaker 2: my system. It messes with yours too. What are you
- 2:06Speaker 2: giving her cottage cheese for?
- 2:07Speaker 1: No?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Because I've started, I'm like perfecting this recipe that I've
- 2:10Speaker 4: been trying and it's so good.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I'm trying to eat more protein and.
- 2:14Speaker 3: You and the rest of the world.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I read it everywhere. Yees, you gotta get more. You're
- 2:19Speaker 2: not getting enough, saying breakfast.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Breakfast is like where you really should have the most.
- 2:24Speaker 2: But it is sweet when you do something like that
- 2:26Speaker 2: for your coworker. If you have the chance to do
- 2:28Speaker 2: it for yours today, go ahead and do it. Worst case,
- 2:31Speaker 2: they're gonna feel guilty they didn't do it for you.
- 2:33Speaker 2: So things are looking at what if she didn't like it?
- 2:34Speaker 2: Though she would never say it because it was a gift.
- 2:37Speaker 3: I was delicious. It got better with every bipe, all right.
- 2:39Speaker 2: March sixth, mostly Sunday, nice highs around eighty today and
- 2:43Speaker 2: tomorrow mid eighties on Sunday. Sunday is your sweet spot day.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Sunday is your day. It's gonna be beautiful this weekend,
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's a free gas Friday. Fm LA's number one hit
- 2:56Speaker 2: music station, Ryan Seacrest here. You know, when you do
- 2:59Speaker 2: have people staying with you, house guests or your family
- 3:02Speaker 2: come and visit you. I tend to have my eye
- 3:04Speaker 2: more closely on things so that things are okay for
- 3:06Speaker 2: their stay. And I noticed the spider crawled out of
- 3:09Speaker 2: the plunger and the toilet brush that I have in
- 3:14Speaker 2: the bathroom that uses in the main part of the house.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And I thought, wow, I don't think I've ever gone
- 3:21Speaker 2: into that plunger case or that toilet brush case and
- 3:24Speaker 2: cleaned it out. That's sure, I've never done. Have you
- 3:27Speaker 2: done that, Ciciny?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Never? Not once. No, I will just buy a new
- 3:31Speaker 3: one because that just disgusts me.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Have you ever looked under your refrigerator to see the
- 3:35Speaker 2: things that accumulate under your refrigerator, that your couch all that.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I have a stick, a yard stick. I take my
- 3:42Speaker 2: yard stick and I sweep it under the refrigerator and
- 3:46Speaker 2: the gunk and the furry things. How do furry things
- 3:48Speaker 2: get under the.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:52Speaker 6: Yeah, one of Maxim's hot wheels and went under the
- 3:53Speaker 6: fridge the other day and I had to get like
- 3:55Speaker 6: a stick to get it out.
- 3:56Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, and shedding underneath my fridge,
- 4:00Speaker 3: like just lean it down there.
- 4:02Speaker 2: But decent. You know chores that people just don't like
- 4:04Speaker 2: cleaning the inside of the washing machine or cleaning your
- 4:07Speaker 2: garbage disposal. I'm afraid to put my hand down there.
- 4:11Speaker 5: How do you even clean that?
- 4:12Speaker 2: I don't know. I've never done it, but you know
- 4:14Speaker 2: I do. I throw a lemon down there every once.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's bad to do that.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Why, I don't know. Michael gets mad at me if
- 4:20Speaker 6: I do that. I do when he's not around.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Because he might break it.
- 4:24Speaker 6: Because it's a something like it'll like, yeah, it'll like
- 4:26Speaker 6: mess up the blades or something. I don't know what
- 4:28Speaker 6: in My hand is also the only one that can
- 4:30Speaker 6: fit down there.
- 4:30Speaker 3: His can't.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Oh well, mine can, So is that bad? Don't tell
- 4:37Speaker 2: anybody you don't want to go out with hand? His
- 4:39Speaker 2: hand can't fit down the garbage.
- 4:42Speaker 3: No, I love hand.
- 4:45Speaker 2: All right. Let's see. How often should I clean my phone?
- 4:49Speaker 2: That's the one thing I want to ask you to, Tony.
- 4:51Speaker 2: How often should I clean my phone? Because it gets dirty?
- 4:55Speaker 5: I clean ours once a week.
- 4:57Speaker 2: How often do you clean your phone?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Don't ever clean my phone?
- 5:00Speaker 6: But I just got a new case, so I feel
- 5:01Speaker 6: like that's kind of that's good.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But you should, like think all the things you touched
- 5:05Speaker 2: throughout the day and then you touch your phone, then
- 5:07Speaker 2: you grab some nuts or something else, and all of
- 5:09Speaker 2: a sudden, that is yeah, all right, well let's move
- 5:12Speaker 2: on from that conversation stressing me out. It's Raven Lena
- 5:15Speaker 2: love me not on Kiss. Good Morning Friday, Mark sixth. Yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 2: we're gonna spring forward tomorrow overnight. It's technically Sunday, but
- 5:22Speaker 2: it's like when you go to bed, you wake up,
- 5:24Speaker 2: you sprung forth. The good news is your phones will
- 5:26Speaker 2: do all the work. But we do that this weekend.
- 5:28Speaker 2: We got a beautiful weekend ahead, sunshine and heat. Sunshine
- 5:32Speaker 2: hides around eighty today. In that mid eighties mark coming
- 5:36Speaker 2: on Sunday, now, Sistany was just telling us that she
- 5:39Speaker 2: had the car wash Booklet you buy more for you know,
- 5:42Speaker 2: a better price. You get the Bookler car wash exactly bulk. Yeah,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and you get a deal on your car washes. And
- 5:48Speaker 2: it's missing.
- 5:49Speaker 6: I love having it, and I keep it in my
- 5:51Speaker 6: center console and I go and rip one off when
- 5:53Speaker 6: I go and get my car washed.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And I went to look the.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Other day and it is gone, like I had at
- 6:00Speaker 6: least seven more washes.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So what do you think happened? Generally? When that happens
- 6:05Speaker 2: to me, I try to blame someone else and it
- 6:08Speaker 2: turns out I've misplaced it.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Yeah, my instinct was to blame Michael, and then I
- 6:12Speaker 6: was like, why would Michael take the whole book? Like
- 6:14Speaker 6: that's weird, And then I so I ruled him out.
- 6:16Speaker 6: And then I thought maybe the kids went in there
- 6:18Speaker 6: and thought it was like I don't know something to
- 6:20Speaker 6: play with.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Yeah, stickers are.
- 6:22Speaker 6: A pad to ride on, and I ruled them out
- 6:25Speaker 6: because I just they it's been there for months, Like
- 6:27Speaker 6: why would they touch it?
- 6:28Speaker 3: And it's just gone, like I don't know where it is.
- 6:30Speaker 6: The only thing I can think of is that I
- 6:31Speaker 6: like legit got robbed, Like I left the car unlocked.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And someone went in there they took my book.
- 6:37Speaker 2: This robber went to your car and broke into your
- 6:41Speaker 2: car and was in certain hunt of the abundance of
- 6:44Speaker 2: car wash to take away from your car. This feels
- 6:46Speaker 2: not I don't get your car. I have to tell you.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I think that if someone were to rob you and
- 6:51Speaker 2: they got inside the car, they're going to take your car,
- 6:53Speaker 2: not the washes that are at a good price for
- 6:56Speaker 2: the car.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 6:58Speaker 6: I think people go in and rummage through people's cards
- 7:01Speaker 6: to see what they can grab and they like, oh,
- 7:03Speaker 6: I mean it's like a gift card.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Run a test. Put a five dollars bill out in
- 7:07Speaker 2: your car on the same spot and see in the
- 7:09Speaker 2: same see if anybody takes that five dollar bill when
- 7:12Speaker 2: it's gone, then retrace your steps. Who could have gotten
- 7:14Speaker 2: in your car?
- 7:15Speaker 3: Right? Exactly?
- 7:16Speaker 2: All right, we need to back room. We're gonna spring
- 7:19Speaker 2: for a new car wash booklet for Sisy now coming top. Next,
- 7:26Speaker 2: if you're on a date this weekend and want to
- 7:28Speaker 2: know if they are into you, and I misread this
- 7:31Speaker 2: all the time, you should watch how they sit. How
- 7:34Speaker 2: they sit tells you. Next. Love it being with you
- 7:37Speaker 2: on one on two point seven Kiss FM on this
- 7:39Speaker 2: Friday morning, so we have a quote of the day
- 7:42Speaker 2: that we do this time every hour. And also, uh,
- 7:46Speaker 2: if you're going out with someone, now, how do you
- 7:48Speaker 2: know if they're vibing with you? And have you misread
- 7:51Speaker 2: the situation before? I have gone both ways on this one.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I've thought someone's not into me because they're just like,
- 7:59Speaker 2: they don't really want to make plans, and then it
- 8:02Speaker 2: turns out you start making plans and they were fine
- 8:05Speaker 2: to make plans. They just couldn't make plans. But we
- 8:07Speaker 2: read into it so much.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Right now, we get in our heads.
- 8:10Speaker 2: So if you're on a date this weekend, wondering if
- 8:12Speaker 2: they're attracted to you, you got to look at how
- 8:14Speaker 2: they sit. This is very telling. How do they sit?
- 8:17Speaker 2: But Kayla, check this out. You're going out this weekend,
- 8:19Speaker 2: probably with a guy.
- 8:20Speaker 5: I'm going out this weekend.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Not meet a guy and see how he sits. Yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 2: so if the guy's attracted to you. They say men
- 8:28Speaker 2: sit with their legs wide open.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I mean, but they do in general.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I tend to cross my leg
- 8:35Speaker 2: every once a while while I'm listening to somebody leg crosser. Well,
- 8:38Speaker 2: I like to move Yeah, I think I think it
- 8:39Speaker 2: looks like you're paying to me. I think it looks
- 8:41Speaker 2: like you're paying closed.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, you leg cross and you lean in.
- 8:44Speaker 5: But it's very talent because he's not trying to hit
- 8:45Speaker 5: on us.
- 8:46Speaker 2: No, I do it also out in the wild on
- 8:49Speaker 2: a date. Okay, don't act so allergic to the concept.
- 8:53Speaker 4: No, you're not supposed to cross your legs or your
- 8:55Speaker 4: arms when you're on a date.
- 8:56Speaker 2: They don't cross my arms. That signals I'm not interested,
- 8:58Speaker 2: but I don't. I don't tubs it with my legs
- 9:01Speaker 2: like wide open. And women, if they're attracted to you,
- 9:04Speaker 2: repeatedly cross and uncross their legs.
- 9:08Speaker 6: Ah, yes, cross and outcross, So they just keep going
- 9:10Speaker 6: back and forth like this.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but I thought it's because the blood isn't flowing.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Like I'm about my legs about to fall asleep. I
- 9:16Speaker 2: got to go to the other leg and do that
- 9:17Speaker 2: all the time, right, all right. Today's quote. When you're happy,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you enjoy the music, but when you're sad, you understand
- 9:25Speaker 2: the lyrics that could not be more like sometimes I
- 9:28Speaker 2: love a song and it sounds so great en upbeat,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and then I go, oh my gosh, those lyrics match
- 9:32Speaker 2: my heartbreak in that line. Friday morning, you're on Kiss FM.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Kiss FM headlines with siny Well.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Get ready for it.
- 9:40Speaker 6: A new round of Santa Ana Wins has a left
- 9:43Speaker 6: four hundred homes in the Porta Ranch area without power
- 9:46Speaker 6: this morning. Six Flax says it will sell seven of
- 9:49Speaker 6: its theme parks, saying they want to focus on long
- 9:52Speaker 6: term growth. Mac Mountain, Valencia is not on the list.
- 9:56Speaker 6: In efforts to bolster Films productions in La City leaders
- 10:00Speaker 6: announced filming fee cuts at Griffith Observatory and availability at
- 10:05Speaker 6: the La Central Library and over twenty six thousand participants
- 10:09Speaker 6: will compete and they sold out LA Marathon This Sunday
- 10:12Speaker 6: starts at seven am Dodger Stadium with the finish line
- 10:16Speaker 6: in Century City.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Well it's two point seven. It is kiss at that
- 10:20Speaker 2: Back to friends summer so at spring break for my niece.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So my family's visiting, my mother and my sister, my
- 10:27Speaker 2: brother in law, my seven year old niece, Flora. Hey, Flora, Meredith, how.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Are you good?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Good?
- 10:32Speaker 1: We're having fun in La.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So far they've done Universal Studios. Did you like Universal Studios? Flora?
- 10:39Speaker 6: Yes?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Now what's your favorite game for us to play at
- 10:42Speaker 2: the dinner table when you stay with me?
- 10:45Speaker 8: Religion doing?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they introduced rose and thorn. You got to
- 10:49Speaker 2: go around and do my three three roses of the
- 10:51Speaker 2: day in one. Thorn of the Day obviously touched my
- 10:54Speaker 2: every day. But last night she was asking us like,
- 10:57Speaker 2: what's your what's your favorite horror movie? What's your favorite
- 11:00Speaker 2: scariest movie you've ever seen? What's it? And I'm like,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I don't, I don't watch those, but you gotta pick
- 11:05Speaker 2: she's really tough on the rules. What was your favorite
- 11:10Speaker 2: scary movie, Flora?
- 11:13Speaker 8: I only watched The Crazy Love It but Chucky?
- 11:17Speaker 9: Oh my goodness, Wow, you're not seeing the movie.
- 11:21Speaker 7: You've not seen the movie, confirming it?
- 11:25Speaker 2: All right? So, Flora, I'm very excited for spring break.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Uncle Rye Rai funkl Rye Raie. Who's you know? I
- 11:31Speaker 2: have a lot of experience with kids, So I'm gonna
- 11:33Speaker 2: take it to Disneyland over the weekend. Are you excited? Yes?
- 11:39Speaker 2: I can't believe your mom and your dad are gonna
- 11:41Speaker 2: let me take you for an entire day at Disneyland.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I mean I can't believe it, because that's possible.
- 11:46Speaker 4: What are you talking about?
- 11:49Speaker 2: I thought you're gonna let me take her, just the
- 11:50Speaker 2: two of us for some uncle that's all week No, are.
- 11:55Speaker 4: You kidding me?
- 11:56Speaker 8: So we got a supervise you're ms out in a while.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I mean it's there are Disney cast members there. I
- 12:07Speaker 2: think it would be a safe place to let Uncle
- 12:09Speaker 2: Rye Rye babysit.
- 12:13Speaker 8: What do you think you can handle it?
- 12:20Speaker 2: All right? You two go through all of the plans,
- 12:23Speaker 2: all the lands you want to visit, and I'll see
- 12:25Speaker 2: a little bit later.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Okay, okay, all right, you.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Talk mom and dad and letting me and you go
- 12:33Speaker 2: by ourselves. We're adults here.
- 12:39Speaker 9: We'll discuss it over dinner.
- 12:41Speaker 8: See you later.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, bye, Rained on my parade a little bit.
- 12:45Speaker 5: I totally knew that.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no chance.
- 12:49Speaker 2: It's kiss FM. I love a new music Friday, and
- 12:51Speaker 2: that's what we're doing right now. So Harry Styles is
- 12:54Speaker 2: officially back. His new album Kiss All the Time Disco
- 12:57Speaker 2: Occasionally came out last night, and it is a vibe
- 13:00Speaker 2: Sistey and Tanya talked to him a couple of weeks ago.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Now already what struck you most, Siciny about your time
- 13:06Speaker 2: hanging out with Harry Styles and talking about this new
- 13:08Speaker 2: music that now we all have.
- 13:10Speaker 6: How much he wants everyone to just be together with
- 13:14Speaker 6: this album and dance and enjoy it and be free.
- 13:17Speaker 3: And that's the vibe that I get from a lot
- 13:20Speaker 3: of the songs on this album.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Sisney's had a chance to listen to this album before
- 13:24Speaker 2: Tanya as well because they were going to talk to
- 13:27Speaker 2: Harry Styles. So you already sort of tag your favorites
- 13:29Speaker 2: and now you can reinforce it by playing the album now.
- 13:31Speaker 2: That it's out. So what are in your mind? Siciny,
- 13:35Speaker 2: what are the three songs? Let's just do three songs
- 13:37Speaker 2: that are your favorites and why okay, ready, Steady go,
- 13:41Speaker 2: Let's play a little.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Bit Already one, two, three times.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Ready Steady.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I just love the vibe of that one.
- 13:58Speaker 6: It was a little bit you're like, so you do
- 14:01Speaker 6: aperture and then the second track and then ready said
- 14:04Speaker 6: he go is track three and it really kind of
- 14:06Speaker 6: just like picked you up and made you want to
- 14:08Speaker 6: dance and shake your body a little bit, and so
- 14:10Speaker 6: I really like it.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Coming up Roses, here's another of your favorites. People are
- 14:15Speaker 2: loving this one.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Everything seems to be coming up Roses. But I'm scared
- 14:21Speaker 1: of you both.
- 14:25Speaker 6: When the lyrics on this song were so special and
- 14:32Speaker 6: so sweet, and I'm usually I'm not a fan of ballads,
- 14:37Speaker 6: but it's such a good She really does and like
- 14:41Speaker 6: it was the lyrics for that song that really did.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It for me.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You know, my mother loves him. My mother was asking me,
- 14:47Speaker 2: when are we going to play all the songs like
- 14:49Speaker 2: yeah you and the album. She knew the album's coming out.
- 14:51Speaker 2: She listens to the show. She knew the album's coming
- 14:53Speaker 2: out she really loves him. And I think you know
- 14:55Speaker 2: on this album you've got if you've heard it, you know,
- 14:57Speaker 2: but if you haven't, you've got emotional iv Some tracks
- 15:01Speaker 2: make you want to dance. Others are just like a
- 15:03Speaker 2: sweet connection. Yes, Sisney, you your third and final of
- 15:07Speaker 2: the three top three favorites on Harry's new album, What's
- 15:10Speaker 2: this one?
- 15:10Speaker 3: This one is a Oh my god, this one is
- 15:13Speaker 3: a bop. It is so fun.
- 15:14Speaker 6: It's called pop and it's up tempo and fun and
- 15:18Speaker 6: you just want to dance.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Oh, yes, I get it. I'm gonna play that one.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Let's do that one after eight. We'll play the whole
- 15:32Speaker 2: song of Yay after eight o'clock because pop is a bop.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I think you just said that pop is a bop.
- 15:38Speaker 6: And speaking of pop ups, the shop that you have
- 15:41Speaker 6: to check out if you're a full on Harry Styles fan.
- 15:44Speaker 6: So Harry is launching special pop ups shops all over
- 15:47Speaker 6: America and LA's is on Melrose just off Los Sienica.
- 15:52Speaker 6: They're going to have exclusive merge including vinyl apparel, stuff
- 15:55Speaker 6: that you wouldn't be able to buy online.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Oh it's gonna be so bag.
- 15:58Speaker 3: So that pop up open and at.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Midnight last night for just two hours, but fans were
- 16:04Speaker 6: lining up hours and hours before that, and it's going
- 16:07Speaker 6: to open back up today at four pm to nine pm,
- 16:10Speaker 6: and then tomorrow and through the weekend and next week
- 16:13Speaker 6: as well.
- 16:14Speaker 2: So fans can expect to get all of that. Don't
- 16:15Speaker 2: forget to catch his concert, which he's filming today in
- 16:18Speaker 2: England because streams Sunday at noon on Netflix. So check
- 16:21Speaker 2: that out over the weekend and I will play pop
- 16:24Speaker 2: in its entirety just after eight o'clock Free Asks Friday
- 16:27Speaker 2: next and DJ Triple XL rolling in with a Friday
- 16:30Speaker 2: Morning mix. It's kiss Oh Olivia Dean Friday Mix Triple XL.
- 16:35Speaker 2: We're done. Appreciate that. Look forward to it about seven
- 16:39Speaker 2: thirty every Friday morning. Ryan Seacrest, Sisiny Kanya with you.
- 16:43Speaker 2: The back room is here, so I'm gonna grab Chanel
- 16:46Speaker 2: in Inglewood. Listen to this one. I have some thoughts
- 16:49Speaker 2: already based on just reading this on a call scream.
- 16:51Speaker 2: But she says she's wondering if she should still buy
- 16:55Speaker 2: a gift for her friend who never gets her a
- 16:57Speaker 2: gift for her birthday. But it's her friend's birthday, right,
- 17:00Speaker 2: you know?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Uh?
- 17:01Speaker 8: Well, yeah, essentially. So I had a birthday dinner a
- 17:06Speaker 8: few months ago and I invited a friend who had
- 17:09Speaker 8: gotten closer to recently. So I hadn't invited her to
- 17:12Speaker 8: a birthday thing before, but she came to this one
- 17:16Speaker 8: and we had a great time. But she didn't bring
- 17:19Speaker 8: a gift, like, not even a card. But I didn't
- 17:23Speaker 8: say anything obviously because I noticed. But now she's invited
- 17:28Speaker 8: me to her birthday this weekend, so I'm wondering, like,
- 17:31Speaker 8: do I bring her a gift because part of me
- 17:34Speaker 8: feels like maybe we're not on gift level with each other,
- 17:37Speaker 8: like maybe showing up is enough, but it feels like
- 17:41Speaker 8: if I don't bring something, then I look petty, Like
- 17:44Speaker 8: are we too old to expect birthday gifts from friends?
- 17:47Speaker 7: Is this normal?
- 17:49Speaker 8: To keep trek like, I don't know do I take
- 17:51Speaker 8: the high road or do I match her energy.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I think you've answered the question in all of the questions,
- 17:56Speaker 2: which is it can be patty and you should take
- 17:58Speaker 2: the high road, Like I do think you already there
- 18:00Speaker 2: in your own mind, and I feel like, if you're
- 18:03Speaker 2: giving it this amount of thought, go ahead and do it.
- 18:07Speaker 2: It takes more energy in a way if you're willing
- 18:09Speaker 2: to get her a gift. To me, it takes a
- 18:11Speaker 2: little more energy to not get her a gift and
- 18:13Speaker 2: then be thinking about that, stewing on the fact that, Okay,
- 18:16Speaker 2: she didn't get me one, so I'm not gonna get
- 18:18Speaker 2: her one, And then you're like waiting for a reaction.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Then there's another layer to it. Wouldn't it be better
- 18:23Speaker 2: to just arrive, have a good time, give her the gift,
- 18:27Speaker 2: take the high road, and then i've her come back
- 18:29Speaker 2: and thank you and probably apologize for not having given
- 18:32Speaker 2: you a gift.
- 18:34Speaker 8: But like, am I setting up an expectation for her too?
- 18:37Speaker 8: I feel like I'm thinking.
- 18:38Speaker 6: About this too much.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Exactly you are.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I mean, this is what a gift giving is about.
- 18:43Speaker 3: It should come out of the kindness of your heart.
- 18:45Speaker 6: It's not tit for tat you know, like, if you
- 18:46Speaker 6: want to give a gift, you give a gift because
- 18:48Speaker 6: you care about that person.
- 18:50Speaker 5: There's a great quote about this. It says what we
- 18:53Speaker 5: give doesn't always return, but what we give.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Is always what we are.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So Chanelle, that means I think I think it means
- 19:01Speaker 2: give who you are. Okay, You're a good person.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Thank you, Chanel.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Very generous.
- 19:13Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, Leon.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Thomas, Chris Brown, kiss a fan about to give away
- 19:23Speaker 2: another four pack to Disneyland, and then we have some
- 19:26Speaker 2: free gas for you every hour on this free Gas Friday,
- 19:30Speaker 2: let me grab King. This topic has come up a
- 19:33Speaker 2: lot on this show, and that is whether or not
- 19:35Speaker 2: you should be friends with your exes. I am a proponent.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Sistany and Tanya are opponents of this idea. King, Where
- 19:42Speaker 2: do you weigh in?
- 19:44Speaker 7: I actually land halfway in the middle because I've had
- 19:47Speaker 7: both experiences. I've had friends that were exes and it
- 19:50Speaker 7: went great, and then I've had friends that were exes
- 19:53Speaker 7: and it was the worst thing I could ever think
- 19:54Speaker 7: of doing.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Okay, But in a perfect world, which would you prefer?
- 20:00Speaker 7: I prefer, honestly, staying friends because you never know if
- 20:05Speaker 7: you're going to need someone into life for something later on.
- 20:08Speaker 7: I think I prefer to stay friends. I just I've
- 20:11Speaker 7: seen the good and bad in both. But I prefer
- 20:14Speaker 7: to stay friends.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Okay, And are you still really close with one of
- 20:18Speaker 2: those exes? Like, do you check in with them? Do
- 20:21Speaker 2: you wish them happy birthday? Do you check in on
- 20:23Speaker 2: a holiday?
- 20:25Speaker 7: Well, funny thing that you asked that I am actually
- 20:28Speaker 7: getting married in August, and my ex wife is coming
- 20:32Speaker 7: to mine and my fiance's wedding, and I'm very close
- 20:37Speaker 7: with her. I've known her for like twenty six years.
- 20:40Speaker 2: That's interesting that's went down that path before. How does
- 20:43Speaker 2: your fiance feel about your ex wife coming.
- 20:47Speaker 7: Well, not to call out a lot, but he's a
- 20:50Speaker 7: trans man and he looks at her and they have
- 20:54Speaker 7: great conversation and now they talk about me behind my back,
- 20:57Speaker 7: and it works out great.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Whatever works out great is the path to take. I
- 21:03Speaker 2: just like love, peace, happiness, and less cortisil and so
- 21:10Speaker 2: I'm happy that things. By the way, congratulations, things are
- 21:13Speaker 2: going great. You're getting married and happy for you.
- 21:15Speaker 1: King.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Thank you, listen kiss FM.
- 21:17Speaker 7: Thank you very much. And I just want to say
- 21:20Speaker 7: I love how you guys actually talk about issues that
- 21:23Speaker 7: people need to hear. So I want to say, keep
- 21:26Speaker 7: up the great work.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Ryan.
- 21:27Speaker 7: I watch you all the time. I watch you on
- 21:28Speaker 7: everything that you're on and very impressed by just how
- 21:32Speaker 7: much you really care about the community and people out there.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So thank you so much. Thank you, King Big on
- 21:38Speaker 2: a great weekend, you too, Okay, buddy, bye bye bye bye.
- 21:42Speaker 2: It is Kiss FM, coming back here Loving the Brain.
- 21:45Speaker 2: It's Rihanna tom Zone to bring you into this one.
- 21:47Speaker 2: So get ready. You better start thinking. I'm going to
- 21:50Speaker 2: bring you into this interesting conversation. Tanya has asked a question. Now,
- 21:55Speaker 2: why has this question come up? You said, Rachel Zoe,
- 21:57Speaker 2: famous stylist. Rachel Zoe.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Yes, he's a famous stylist. She is now on the
- 22:01Speaker 4: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she was appearing on
- 22:05Speaker 4: a podcast and she had this hot take and it's
- 22:08Speaker 4: creating quite the stir on social media. She said, men
- 22:11Speaker 4: don't marry the love of their life. Men marry the
- 22:14Speaker 4: woman that's there when he's ready and makes the process
- 22:17Speaker 4: painless for him. And it's an interesting thing because I
- 22:20Speaker 4: think obviously, like Rachel Zoe, she's a girl's girl. She's
- 22:23Speaker 4: out here looking out for us girlies. And I think
- 22:28Speaker 4: she's trying to say, like, watch out for this because
- 22:31Speaker 4: this is something that happens too. I don't I want
- 22:33Speaker 4: to say all men, but like I think some men,
- 22:36Speaker 4: there's this age range let's give it twenty six to
- 22:40Speaker 4: thirty two where you really feel that pressure to settle down,
- 22:44Speaker 4: get married, have kids. Everybody in your life is getting
- 22:47Speaker 4: married and having kids and you feel that pressure. Okay,
- 22:50Speaker 4: some men feel it so much that they just end
- 22:54Speaker 4: up marrying the person that they're with at the time.
- 22:56Speaker 4: They don't really think about it so much. They just
- 22:59Speaker 4: this is the time I'm so to do it, and
- 23:00Speaker 4: this is the woman that I'm with. And then that
- 23:02Speaker 4: is kind of what Rachel Zoe is saying. That leads
- 23:04Speaker 4: to divorce and things like that. And so I think
- 23:07Speaker 4: once you get past that threshold, you maybe don't feel
- 23:10Speaker 4: that sense of pressure anymore. But I'd like to hear
- 23:15Speaker 4: your take as a man.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Why can't thank you for asking me as a man?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Why every time? Why can't why can't you? I think
- 23:25Speaker 2: these things intersect because I think you have to be
- 23:28Speaker 2: in the right place in your life with the right
- 23:30Speaker 2: time to be open to finding the love of your life,
- 23:33Speaker 2: the person that you want to be with that companion.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I don't think these are mutually exclusive. I think that
- 23:38Speaker 2: they do intersect. Toms, let me get your perspective on
- 23:41Speaker 2: this as a fiancee, up, bro, I can't I got
- 23:46Speaker 2: none to add to that.
- 23:47Speaker 1: You like that, Yeah?
- 23:49Speaker 2: Is that true? Is that what you would say if
- 23:51Speaker 2: you were to say it. I don't did you hear
- 23:54Speaker 2: what I say? I know I heard you said, but
- 23:56Speaker 2: you married the person you're with? I don't know. Oh
- 24:04Speaker 2: my gosh. I hope, Gabby, the love of your life,
- 24:06Speaker 2: the person you're with at the right time. Is it
- 24:08Speaker 2: listening right now?
- 24:09Speaker 1: That the.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Funny. Here's your answer, and thank you for the question, Seacrest.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Here another Harry Styles track off the I'm Gonna Play Dance.
- 24:19Speaker 2: No more new music from Harry on this New Music Friday.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Then we'll get into our weekend watch list. I watch
- 24:25Speaker 2: started something with my mom that one of you guys
- 24:26Speaker 2: told me about, and she thought it was very uncomfortable,
- 24:29Speaker 2: so I had to change it. I'll tell you about that. First.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Is this Toby in Temecula.
- 24:35Speaker 9: This is Toby in Temecula. We're the same age, we
- 24:38Speaker 9: graduated the same year.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And how are we doing?
- 24:44Speaker 9: We are doing great. I called every day forever I'm
- 24:49Speaker 9: a teacher, and on my lunch break and recess when
- 24:52Speaker 9: I don't have duty, trying to win Bruno Mars for
- 24:55Speaker 9: my daughter. Oh and I have failed every day, miss
- 25:00Speaker 9: for Ablee.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Well, I was gonna play this game for free gas,
- 25:03Speaker 2: but let's just change it to Bruno Mars tickets for you.
- 25:06Speaker 9: You've got to be kidding me. Yeah, daughter's fifteenth birthday
- 25:09Speaker 9: is tomorrow.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:11Speaker 9: Well, I've been trying surpriser because.
- 25:13Speaker 2: We graduated the same time and we've been trying to meet.
- 25:16Speaker 2: We're shifting it from free gas to Bruno Mars tickets
- 25:18Speaker 2: for you. Right now, Toby, we are going to play.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Got the most people looking at the.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Here's how it's gonna work. I'm gonna give you two
- 25:31Speaker 2: Instagram accounts. You tell me which one has more followers. Okay,
- 25:36Speaker 2: these are famous people. Are you ready? Is your daughter there?
- 25:40Speaker 9: Yeah? Can I put you on speak her?
- 25:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Why don't you have your daughter play along here
- 25:45Speaker 2: and let's see what we can do. Yeah, put us
- 25:46Speaker 2: on speaker. Let's get into this.
- 25:48Speaker 9: Well, I'm horrible Instagram. I need her help.
- 25:51Speaker 2: That's what I'm trying. I'm trying to help you out
- 25:53Speaker 2: of here. Toby. You are we graduated in the same
- 25:55Speaker 2: high school. Practically, I know you're the best.
- 25:58Speaker 8: Hold on.
- 26:00Speaker 9: Hi, she's dying, Ryan, You are our favorite person.
- 26:06Speaker 6: We've listened to you.
- 26:07Speaker 9: I listen to you all the time, but she listens
- 26:10Speaker 9: to every morning before she goes to school.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Well, thank you for doing that. What's your name?
- 26:16Speaker 6: Charlie?
- 26:17Speaker 2: Hey, Charlie. All right, Charlie, let me just get down
- 26:19Speaker 2: to business. Your mom called you wanted free gas. Then
- 26:21Speaker 2: she told me you wanted to see Bruno Mars. So
- 26:23Speaker 2: I changed the prize to Bruno Mars tickets. If you
- 26:26Speaker 2: guys win this game, you go see Bruno Mars. Got it?
- 26:31Speaker 3: Okay?
- 26:32Speaker 9: What's the game?
- 26:33Speaker 2: The game is Instagram accounts. I'm gonna give you two
- 26:36Speaker 2: famous people. You or your mom tell me who is
- 26:38Speaker 2: the most Instagram account followers?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Is it right?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yes? Okay?
- 26:42Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 26:43Speaker 2: First one, the two guys from Heated Rivalry this new
- 26:47Speaker 2: hot show. Hudson Williams who plays Shane or Connor Story
- 26:52Speaker 2: who plays Ilia. Who has more followers?
- 26:56Speaker 7: I have no idea, I'm gonna say, Okay, it's not it's.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Connor, but very close. Here's the next one, doing all right,
- 27:03Speaker 2: l a concert venues. Okay, who has the most followers?
- 27:07Speaker 2: Crypto dot com arena or the key of forum Crypto? Yeah,
- 27:12Speaker 2: that's right, alright dot Com? Next one, here we go,
- 27:18Speaker 2: gotta get this one, Oscar front Runners. Who has more followers?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Michael B. Jordan or Timothy Shallomey.
- 27:26Speaker 9: Oh, Michael B. Jordan's correct.
- 27:29Speaker 1: You got it.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Versus twenty one point four million for the Wind to
- 27:34Speaker 2: go see Bruno Mars, Charlie Toby, Local Theme Parks, six Flags,
- 27:39Speaker 2: Magic Mountain or knots Berry Farm. Who has more followers
- 27:43Speaker 2: for the Wind?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Not?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my gosh, you're going to see Bruno Mars.
- 27:57Speaker 6: You serious?
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yes? You just want it.
- 28:01Speaker 8: We love you more than we already did.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Whatever it takes you, guys, enjoy, Thank you very much
- 28:08Speaker 2: and happy birthday tomorrow, Charlie.
- 28:10Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 28:12Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Just FM, streaming on the iHeartRadio.
- 28:21Speaker 1: App The weekend watch List, Just not Go.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Let's take a look at our weekend watch list. I
- 28:28Speaker 2: do find that when I just talk with people that
- 28:32Speaker 2: I know, friends that I know, or even just random
- 28:34Speaker 2: people I like, you know, I'm in the back of
- 28:36Speaker 2: an uber, I'll ask the question, what are you watching
- 28:38Speaker 2: right now? Is or anything I been watching? I love
- 28:40Speaker 2: to get different people's perspective on what to watch. So
- 28:43Speaker 2: sisany what's on your weekend watch list?
- 28:46Speaker 6: So I've been trying to watch a lot of the
- 28:48Speaker 6: Oscar nominated movies and or just in general, they've been
- 28:51Speaker 6: nominated for all types of awards, and Begonia was on
- 28:55Speaker 6: my list. I've seen like the Leo movie, I saw
- 28:57Speaker 6: the Rose Byrne movie, and so this is the Emmastone
- 29:00Speaker 6: movie and.
- 29:03Speaker 3: It is crazy.
- 29:08Speaker 2: A little.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 29:10Speaker 6: So the premise is like these two conspiracy obsessed men
- 29:14Speaker 6: kidnap the CEO of a major company and that is Emmastone,
- 29:18Speaker 6: and so that's how it really kicks off. But then
- 29:21Speaker 6: they start thinking she's an alien and it really gets
- 29:24Speaker 6: twisted and it's a wild ride, but it is so good.
- 29:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 29:27Speaker 2: So that's on Peacock, Tanya. What is on your weekend
- 29:30Speaker 2: watch list?
- 29:30Speaker 9: So?
- 29:31Speaker 4: Mine is The Beauty on Hulu. If you've been watching
- 29:33Speaker 4: Love Story. It's another Ryan Murphy show. It's on I
- 29:37Speaker 4: think I said it was on Hulu, but the finale
- 29:39Speaker 4: just aired this week. And it's one of those shows
- 29:43Speaker 4: that it's kind of like a you know, one of
- 29:45Speaker 4: those things that you like, like a car crash that
- 29:48Speaker 4: you don't want to look but you like can't stop
- 29:49Speaker 4: looking at it.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like a high speed chase here.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of like that.
- 29:53Speaker 4: It's like this, you it's what the price you'll pay
- 29:55Speaker 4: for vanity for beauty. It's all about beauty. But it
- 29:58Speaker 4: ultimately ends up killing you. And it's such an interesting.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Show.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Like I find myself watching it being like, what's going on?
- 30:08Speaker 4: But I can't stop watching it.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Well i'd be able to understand it, Like when you say,
- 30:11Speaker 2: what's going on? Is it complicated?
- 30:12Speaker 5: It's all complicated.
- 30:13Speaker 4: It's just kind of like it's all it's a little
- 30:15Speaker 4: bit weird. It's a little bit weird. But Megan Trainers
- 30:17Speaker 4: in it. She has a little cameo which is cute
- 30:20Speaker 4: and it's interesting, and.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's from Ryan Murphy to me, that guy does everything great.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I mean he can be edgy, he can be dark,
- 30:27Speaker 2: but he really does everything great. So that's on your weekend.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Watch Us The Beauty on Hulu. Now, Ruby, what's on
- 30:33Speaker 2: your weekend? Watch us back There in the back Room.
- 30:35Speaker 10: Mine is Harry Styles One Night in Manchester on Netflix.
- 30:39Speaker 10: So the very first live performance of Harry's new album
- 30:42Speaker 10: Kiss All the Time Disco Occasionally. They're recording it today actually,
- 30:46Speaker 10: but it will drop Sunday at noon our time on Netflix.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Okay, looking forward to that, Tanya, I think you recommended
- 30:53Speaker 2: for me to watch fifty six Days or something, So
- 30:55Speaker 2: I started that with didn't you fifty three Days fifty
- 30:58Speaker 2: six days.
- 30:59Speaker 5: The Dovecaeman Show.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Oh that was on my watch list last week.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I think, fine, how many days?
- 31:05Speaker 5: Fifty six?
- 31:07Speaker 7: Yes?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah, So I started that with my mother and she
- 31:10Speaker 2: wanted me to change it. So I blame you, Ruby.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Now I'm going to go back and watch that.
