  Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I

  Speaker 1: was talking with my wife and she said something her

  Speaker 1: father always used to tell her, just because you can

  Speaker 1: do something don't mean you should do it. I can't

  Speaker 1: tell you how many times I've had to learn that

  Speaker 1: in my life. You know, just because you can do

  Speaker 1: something does not necessarily mean you should do it. I

  Speaker 1: could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean I

  Speaker 1: should do it. I could go here and set the

  Speaker 1: record straight a lot of times, but it don't mean

  Speaker 1: I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in

  Speaker 1: that lesson folks, and because I have a relationship with

  Speaker 1: my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me to

  Speaker 1: learn even more how to stay still on a lot

  Speaker 1: of issue that's troubling me. I've learned it the hard way.

  Speaker 1: I do want you to understand that that sometimes it's

  Speaker 1: better to be still. Sometimes it's better to just let

  Speaker 1: God handle the situation now. And I know it's hard

  Speaker 1: to say because we think as people, but if I

  Speaker 1: they'll feel how I feel. See, But that's not always

  Speaker 1: the best way though, I found in my life. Sometimes

  Speaker 1: you gotta like old people used to say, you gotta

  Speaker 1: let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,

  Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday

  Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when

  Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was

  Speaker 1: just an old person just talking to me. I didn't

  Speaker 1: get it. You know how your parents used to talk

  Speaker 1: to you and you didn't get it, and they used

  Speaker 1: to always say, well, wait till you have your own kids,

  Speaker 1: you'll get it then, And sure enough you got it. Then. Well,

  Speaker 1: I'm the same way. I'm no different You know. I

  Speaker 1: don't have no different life than you. You. I don't

  Speaker 1: have no different upbringing in you. I don't have no

  Speaker 1: different ways that I can live and you can't. You

  Speaker 1: know that I got to live by the same laws

  Speaker 1: of the land that you got to live by. I

  Speaker 1: gotta obey the principles of success. If I want to

  Speaker 1: be successful, I gotta bam And you know, if I

  Speaker 1: want to go to heaven, I gotta do what God

  Speaker 1: tell me to do. As many times as I can

  Speaker 1: now you ain't gonna get it all right. But he

  Speaker 1: understand that, and I just get on with the best

  Speaker 1: I can. But so many times, man, we get stuck

  Speaker 1: going around here because I'm trying to find a way

  Speaker 1: to tell you this that you won't get twisted. The

  Speaker 1: bottom line, you gotta let go and let God. You

  Speaker 1: have to allow him to do it his way. See,

  Speaker 1: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,

  Speaker 1: I had to let God have it. I found out

  Speaker 1: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out

  Speaker 1: I wouldn't all that good of a explore with a map.

  Speaker 1: So I had to let go. I had to let God.

  Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.

  Speaker 1: How often had I thought it was over for me?

  Speaker 1: But what God was doing was he was teaching me

  Speaker 1: a lesson. He was showing me something that I needed

  Speaker 1: to know. He was allowing me to experience some things.

  Speaker 1: But he didn't let me go under. You know how

  Speaker 1: they say God and never put more on you than
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: you can bear. He won't let you go under. You know,

  Speaker 1: it's like the scripture that Bishop Alma taught me when
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: had worked for in my family, and it this new
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: life that God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: he comes. He puts you under attack, and he comes
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: in and that and everything, and my kids are suffering.

  Speaker 1: But you know, here comes God. Though, see God don't
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear. Bishop Olma
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah forty three
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: one and two. And in that scripture it says to
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: the effect that you can walk through the water the rivers,
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: and the water won't overcome you. But then it said
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: you can walk through the fire and you will not
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: get burned, nor will kindling set upon your clothing. I
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: learned something very valuable that day. See God sent me
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: through something, but he was showing me something too. Now
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: he didn't do it. God didn't bring that calamity into
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: my life because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: clearly that if anyone comes against you, it will not
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: be my doing. Now, this is what he promised you
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: when people come for you thought see, And this is
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: what I learned. That's why I have no fear of

  Speaker 1: the people coming anymore because I learned that. But God

  Speaker 1: had to send me through a traumatic experience in order

  Speaker 1: for me to learn that. You can't have a testimony

  Speaker 1: without a test you know what I'm saying. You can't

  Speaker 1: learn nothing without a lesson. So what he did was

  Speaker 1: he allowed that internet thing come across crossed into my life.

  Speaker 1: But he taught me something And Isaiah forty three to

  Speaker 1: one and two was and you could walk through the
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: fire and not get burned, nor will kindling set upon

  Speaker 1: your clothing. So what that said to me was, even

  Speaker 1: though you trying to do me and it's fire all

  Speaker 1: around me, I won't burn, But when it's over, kindling

  Speaker 1: won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me was

  Speaker 1: not only would I walk through the fire and not

  Speaker 1: get burned, but there will be no signs that I

  Speaker 1: was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.

  Speaker 1: But not hold up though now he go to park

  Speaker 1: though that I had to learn even though you can

  Speaker 1: walk through the fire, y'all, And even though you're being

  Speaker 1: flames and scorching all around you. If you trust him,

  Speaker 1: he ain't gonna let you burn. But now hear what

  Speaker 1: he did not say. Though, he did not say that

  Speaker 1: it was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot

  Speaker 1: won't burn, and when it's over, it won't be no

  Speaker 1: signs that you was in the fire. See what happened

  Speaker 1: to me was after they tried to destroy me. Let

  Speaker 1: did they not accomplish what they set out to do,

  Speaker 1: was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, throwing

  Speaker 1: the hate and writing it in line and creating all

  Speaker 1: these names for themselves so it could look like most

  Speaker 1: people is hating when they got through it all that man,

  Speaker 1: look what he did to me. Look what he did

  Speaker 1: same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though,

  Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it.

  Speaker 1: Just because you can do something, don't mean y'all to

  Speaker 1: do something. Yeah, you could go down there and straighten

  Speaker 1: gotta let God have situations sometimes and you get in

  Speaker 1: another book out and he said, you know, knowing God's

  Speaker 1: Voice or something like that. I'm not sure the title,

  Speaker 1: but I never really knew the definition of how do

  Speaker 1: you know it's God's voice talking to you? Well, he
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sining in it.

  Speaker 1: Whenever you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm gonna show him,

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him back. If it's sining in it,

  Speaker 1: God ain't in it. See that's you now. God's voice

  Speaker 1: has no sining in it. So when you say God
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: told me be careful, because God ain't never told you
• 7:47
  Speaker 1: to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he told you.

  Speaker 1: And I learned that too. It's a lot, so I'm

  Speaker 1: just sharing today. I hope it helps somebody today get
