- 5:26Speaker 1: Mm-hmm, hmm, oh, my goodness, she's 10 years young, which would be like 70 in dog years.
- 5:35Speaker 1: She's about to retire.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I know, now you just got her a baby, now she's a grandma, yeah.
- 5:43Speaker 1: She's a grandmama.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Grandmama, yes, it looks good on her, it does, it does.
- 5:49Speaker 1: She's a good grandmama?
- 5:51Speaker 1: No nonsense, she's not putting up with a whole lot and she'll let you know when she doesn't like something.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But yet a sweet, tender heart and a way to have patience and show them the way.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Yes, my girl.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yes, keep them in line.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Please show them how to go potty outside Season.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Thank you, that would be lovely, that would be great, although in the winter it gets kind of dicey with her too.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So Look at these pies Bread for it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Like if you would just have a little itty bitty.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Sometimes she'll do like prayer hands and it's literally just melts my heart every single time.
- 6:27Speaker 1: All five pounds of her yeah, that's a lot of love in five pounds.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Rip will get to be about 20 pounds, so I feel like they'll be.
- 6:36Speaker 1: They'll be a good little pair.
- 6:40Speaker 2: But we all know who's boss, right, ruby.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am, goddess, energy.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Right here, my girl who loves to give kisses, yes, but she has fish breath.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Sorry, ruby, what'd you do?
- 6:59Speaker 1: And we tried to brush her teeth.
- 7:01Speaker 1: We put on like the little mini finger toothbrush, like the beef toothpaste, and we were like the little mini finger toothbrush, like the beef toothpaste, and we were like trying to like rub it in there.
- 7:08Speaker 1: She was not having it and so I had to like hold her mouth open and try to do it and one of her tooth popped out.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Oh, like there was a tooth, like ow, I hope the tooth fairy came.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Oh God, I'm ready.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Nessie's really not going to let me.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Nessie was there to witness it.
- 7:26Speaker 1: She was like oh, dear A tooth, was that a tooth?
- 7:30Speaker 1: And I was like yes, yes, it was.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It probably felt good right hey it was ready to come out it wasn't meant to be.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the same van trip to the dentist, the.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Save me a trip to the dentist, the vet clinic?
- 7:45Speaker 2: Oh, you like it.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Keep them fed.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Oh, ruby smells it.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Look at her.
- 7:49Speaker 2: You like pizza?
- 7:52Speaker 1: So for those of you who are just joining us here they call me Bubbles out at the farm I'd like to say it has to do with my bubbly personality, isn't that my butt?
- 8:05Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 8:09Speaker 2: That Brazilian butt girl, you got it Shake what your mama gave you, and sweetest sunshine.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It was sunshine, but honestly sunshine.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I hope you don't mind, but it's like morphing into sunshine, because not only you get, it's like morphing into fun shine because not only you get, it's like sunshine is implied.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah right, yeah, you get.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's like a twofer I love right there.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll get the fun and the sun and we're gonna shine, yes, like you always do.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It's so great and I love that today, on our 10th episode, we filmed the footage for our launching of the podcast, because, although we've been filming it live on here, we have yet to really share it on our socials, the links, and where people can go to listen to it live out there on all the channels Apple, spotify, iheart.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's everywhere More than I can name.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Never even heard of some of them.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yep, they're out there Published.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And ready to be heard and listened to and enjoyed and shared, and it's such a beautiful thing, I'm so stoked on it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I am too.
- 9:24Speaker 2: We're doing it.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, and it feels good and it's getting easier.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we're working out the kinks.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Mm-hmm, there's some aha, lots of aha, moments along the way.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Aha, aha or ah aha, just kidding, I'm a mopeus, it's been a struggle.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah, like, get me wrong, I'm a bit of a struggle Ups and downs.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It definitely has highs and lows.
- 9:47Speaker 2: But the only pressure is pressure that we're putting on ourselves Truthfully.
- 9:50Speaker 2: So take a step back and share your gifts.
- 9:56Speaker 1: The mantra for today.
- 9:58Speaker 2: We've been saying that since day one.
- 9:59Speaker 2: We're like what are you good at?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Share it.
- 10:02Speaker 2: What are you?
- 10:03Speaker 1: good at Then taking the time to really reflect on that and see where you feel most alive at what you're doing and sharing and creating what's calling Mm-hmm, yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: And then there's so many different ways to share too.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I feel like social is just one aspect, but I feel like it's an energy, oh for sure that can be felt for the sharing, and it takes two.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It is sharing, it's not like giving.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I feel like sharing is implied that you're receiving the energy in return for what you're good at.
- 10:45Speaker 1: So that kind of fuels the fire and where it gives an opportunity for them to share back.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, Using their purpose and their gifts right, Absolutely.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It's like a bartering but yeah, spiritual bartering, spiritual barter.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Is that?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Oh, I really like that yes.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You must make note of that as well A spiritual barter Right, an exchange, because I'm also thinking like sharing with the earth.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I just, you know, I love the people aspect.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I feel like that's like the first thing that comes to your mind, but I also am trying to rewire and then what comes ahead to my mind is an infinity loop, this reciprocating energy that is being exchanged, but, you know, with all things, with energy, and everything has energy it's science.
- 11:37Speaker 2: It really is like we're not just making this up.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Quantum.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Quantum proportions Get in the vortex.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yes, those vibrations.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Everything has energy.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, science Proven Facts, facts.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And that is just served up on a platter by a God that is just so, so good to be able to offer that to all his children.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, great and small.
- 12:06Speaker 2: There's no mistakes.
- 12:07Speaker 2: There's no Mistakes.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't know, that's the word I was thinking.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Everything happens for a reason, right?
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And there's the lessons and the blessings.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Treasures in the trials.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So even if you don't know what your gift is, that's okay.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I think a lot of times we don't know exactly, maybe until somebody points it out to you, right, like oh, you're a really good speaker and you're like, oh, I really do enjoy that.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Or you know like it's fun to bounce ideas off your friends too, if you are kind of feeling lost or not sure or looking for another gift, because, lord knows, you didn't only give us one, there's multiple in each and every body.
- 12:57Speaker 2: We got to use them.
- 12:58Speaker 2: We got to utilize them.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Use it or lose it.
- 13:02Speaker 2: We're not losing this one.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Not today, satan, no, no, no, okay, no, oh, it gets me so excited, yes, so excited, because as you lean more into it, there's just, it's bountiful the abundance we're just dripping in abundance.
- 13:22Speaker 1: The abundance, we're just dripping in abundance.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And if that's your mindset and mentality, it's like a whole new universe that opens up to you with fun and energetic ways to share your gifts, gifts that you didn't even know you had or didn't even realize.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's where the fear comes in.
- 13:42Speaker 2: No fear, just you know you may not be good at it right away, and that's okay.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Fear comes in.
- 13:45Speaker 2: No fear, just you know you may not be good at it right away, and that's okay.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Just keep going, keep swimming, keep swimming faith over fear.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yes, my dear always and forever with delicious grace and mercy.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Can Can I share this, please?
- 14:03Speaker 1: This Bible verse, please.
- 14:04Speaker 1: So I try to take time every morning to read at least a chapter out of the Bible.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I'm a first-time Bible reader.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I have yet to finish.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm so close.
- 14:14Speaker 1: As you can see it's taken me about a year and a half, but who's counting?
- 14:19Speaker 1: But I'm good.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Hey that Old Testament was rough.
- 14:22Speaker 1: But we're here and I feel like all of this stuff is like reiterating what I've been kind of picking up along the way.
- 14:29Speaker 1: But this was this morning and it just kind of moved and touched me and I wanted to share it.
- 14:34Speaker 1: A living sacrifice Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And then read this part, this one's right here.
- 14:57Speaker 2: We have different gifts, oh, according to the grace given to each of us.
- 14:59Speaker 2: We have different gifts, oh, according to the grace given to each of us.
- 15:04Speaker 2: If your gift is prophesying, then prophesize in accordance with your faith.
- 15:09Speaker 2: If it is serving, then serve.
- 15:11Speaker 2: If it is teaching, then teach.
- 15:14Speaker 2: If it is to encourage, then give encouragement.
- 15:16Speaker 2: If it is given, then give generously.
- 15:20Speaker 2: If it is to lead, do it diligently.
- 15:23Speaker 2: If it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Oh amen and no, and you know, being all of us, being his children, we all, and with his holy spirit running through our veins, we can do all of these things and then some.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So you have to do is ask and believe.
- 15:46Speaker 1: We have a lot of faith, courage and strength and vulnerability and confidence.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And humility and respect Take heart All the wonderful things and just love.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Choose love.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Always Show your love dealer.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Oh, I shouldn't have Shoot.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I just I'm sorry.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Choose love.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Always Show your love dealer.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Oh, I shouldn't have Shoot, I just I'm sorry.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I gave it away.
- 16:10Speaker 1: She's like I'm so stuck here.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I got you, I know.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Well, isn't that the cutest shirt ever?
- 16:15Speaker 1: I love it.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I do absolutely love it.
- 16:17Speaker 1: You wear it so well, sunshine.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I feel, like.
- 16:21Speaker 2: That is what we do when we're on the road with our high-five drive Our gypsy-loving adventures, spreading the love.
- 16:31Speaker 1: It's so much fun it is.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's so much fun to just interact with people and find different ways to kind of demonstrate his love and testify.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like people once you open the door of like the good news club people, when people start sharing their good news, it's so amazing Good news club Things that you like have that happen to people every day and just like speaking that aloud and sharing that with a friend is kind of testify.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I love hearing it, it makes my day.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I love to collect and gather those stories of all the beautiful people and how God has touched them.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's wonderful, super groovy.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We should get some guests on here.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Hey, what do you think?
- 17:15Speaker 1: I think we're ready to start bringing guests on and do the High Vibe Trials.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So they can share their gifts.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Yes, that was the original intention.
- 17:23Speaker 1: That's always been, but we're like we have to.
- 17:27Speaker 1: It's our first days.
- 17:28Speaker 1: When was our first.
- 17:31Speaker 2: We don't know, we're doing it.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We're doing it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Yes, bring on the guests.
- 17:37Speaker 2: So if you want to be a guest on the Sunshine and Bubbles and the High Five Tribe show, that's a mouthful Reach out, let us know.
- 17:46Speaker 2: What do you have to offer?
- 17:48Speaker 2: What do you want to share?
- 17:50Speaker 1: We'd love to hear it, the schedule is going to be bucket.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Yes, we'll head you in.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yes, Summer's no joke.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Here, though, like between the markets and growing and watering and weeding, planting and harvesting and creating and weeding and planting and harvesting and creating and all the beautiful things we choose to do, we get to do so.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yes, the schedule is filling up fast.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I think the schedule is false.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Just kidding, just kidding.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Here we go like kicking, like step back and like wait a minute after now that I mentioned the fall baby.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's the fall the season, yes, season two, oh yeah, oh, they're season two.
- 18:36Speaker 1: That's when the high vibe tribe evolves season two with you, and then we'll be so sad.
- 18:42Speaker 1: We'll be so sad.
- 18:43Speaker 1: We have so much practice exactly what's going on.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It'll be a little bit less background noise with the kitty cats running around doing sharing their sweet little.
- 18:53Speaker 2: It's funny energy, not tune them out, but I heard them, but not those are.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Those are the best the boys I lost too.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I had something where I wanted to loop it with that.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But speaking of the children and summertime shenanigans, we were asked, or did we ask, I'm not sure.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It just kind of escalated very quickly.
- 19:22Speaker 2: It happened all really fast, but I think it was Sunshine.
- 19:24Speaker 2: That was like for josh let's share our sound bowls.
- 19:29Speaker 1: And he's like, yes, let me just talk with mike.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And then he comes back and he's like you can have the whole stage as the side, the sideshow stage, with the tent set up next to it, the dna have tent, and like sunshine and I are jumping up and down and screaming joy.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Not even sure what all went in on, but we are.
- 19:48Speaker 1: We booked the stage.
- 19:54Speaker 1: We got our gig yes, our first gig, and so we were talking with the kids and we're like guys, like if you were part of a band or like the theater crew, what, how could you share your kids?
- 20:06Speaker 1: What could you use?
- 20:07Speaker 1: That was one like the icebreaker is in.
- 20:09Speaker 1: So I feel like we got a sound on the merch, on the sound on the um singers, dancers, musicians, um acrobatics, fly girls like glitter, glitter crowd engagers, bubble blasters.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Yeah, crowding Like, because they've already been doing it with like the henna tattoos, glitter girls, feathers in the hair chair.
- 20:38Speaker 1: They even use like the oracle cards, which are like positive affirmations, which is super sweet.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And they were doing each other's.

- 23:20Speaker 2: I just signed myself up to make my own birthday treat.
- 23:22Speaker 2: But that's okay.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I would love to share it with my buds.
- 23:26Speaker 2: It's kind of like school If it's your birthday, you bring the treat right.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's the good mama in you.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am, always taking care of everybody, even on her birthday.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You've got to stay hydrated.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I suppose I can make a treat too Shake all day.
- 23:44Speaker 2: You gotta stay hydrated.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I suppose I can make a treat too Shake all day.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Not one of mine, Just kidding, we can do all the things.
- 23:52Speaker 1: We're doing all the things and it's a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful thing being a living sacrifice here and getting to share our gifts here and there and everywhere On the farm.
- 24:02Speaker 1: This week was a serious humdinger of a week again.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, we've got all seven of our chakra garden beds planted, plus with companionship and intention in mind.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That was a lot of work to get to where we were here this week to plant those seeds yeah, and most of the things, we things, the beautiful plants that we planted, replanted, transplanted.
- 24:34Speaker 2: We started from seeds and a lot of them were seeds that we harvested from our last crop, so that is so special.
- 24:40Speaker 2: This is like second generation for some of them and we couldn't be any happier and a lot of them came back.
- 24:45Speaker 2: We do know it was a hard year here in Wisconsin for lots of herbs.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Our sweet friend Jane told us that too.
- 24:51Speaker 1: So if she had, trouble we're like.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Well then, we had to have some.
- 24:54Speaker 2: That explains it.
- 25:00Speaker 2: But only the strong survive around here is what we discovered this morning.
- 25:04Speaker 2: It's what we declare we are going let's see how tough these bedding are.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Hardening is no joke.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Just because of Wisconsin and the weather is so unpredictable and a lot of times time is of the essence.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It's all these sweet little pockets to be able to plant like that.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I love that we're planting in the waxing moon or, no, excuse me, the waning moon.
- 25:30Speaker 1: That's a great time to sow the seeds and plant, so kind of like the moon cycle intention there as well, so intentional ah.
- 25:39Speaker 1: And then the worms seeing them thriving, kind of like spreading the worms to other beds that don't have the compost bucket in there, and I just love that.
- 25:48Speaker 1: We also had a new, uh raised bed like a double banger with a diamond in a diamond formation side piece.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That was new to the scene down there and that Danny just out of nowhere rolls up with a auger and drills a huge hole to cement in a pole in like two seconds seconds, all of it.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have taken us 10 years.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It was amazing.
- 26:21Speaker 1: And he's gonna.
- 26:22Speaker 1: He's gonna get watering hooked up for us, which is gonna be I can't even like wrap my head around that to like auto water and just have it water for us.
- 26:31Speaker 2: That's gonna be, that's kind of sad though, because I love watering, but I'm sure there'll be plenty to water.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I think we'll still have to supplement.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yes, but you know it's therapeutic, you know, standing out there, especially when the sun is feeling good or going down, or going up.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Now the transplanting we did.
- 26:53Speaker 1: We got all of the autoflower into the beds that we're going to have full intentions of, which are already budding.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yes, they're so ready to produce the most magical buds.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yes, to be used in bouquets.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yes, flower crowns.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I'm so excited to create with those little hemp plants.
- 27:18Speaker 1: It's the cutest thing.
- 27:19Speaker 1: They're like so mini the auto flower I just love them.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And they cycle in 60 grow days, so 60 days is their total grow cycle.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So it's kind of cool, half of the normal right.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yes, which for people that don't know?
- 27:34Speaker 2: Thank you, ma'am.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so you can really get two harvests people that don't know when, ma'am.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Thank you, ma'am yeah, yeah, it's like half the time, so you can really get two harvests so they don't get very big, yeah, but they're more compact and just bud.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, just like a big solid bud.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah, like a cola, like a mini yeah, with some like little little mini buds on the side which you can do cool stuff with yeah, as well.
- 27:52Speaker 1: But I just feel like that is the wow factor I want in my bouquet, my flower bouquet yeah, at the Farmer's Market Special right there.
- 28:01Speaker 1: And then all the flowers that we're planting too second year planting all these beautiful flowers, excited to see what comes up there too.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Dahlias.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Carolinas.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I mean we probably have like 20 grow bags too, like the felt grow bags, probably about 20 of them.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'd say yeah, out there, in addition, with a mishmash of.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not even sure it's beautiful though.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Everything.
- 28:28Speaker 2: It just keeps growing.
- 28:29Speaker 2: So we're like oh must save the plants.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Yes, all the sweet little trimmings that came back last year.
- 28:36Speaker 1: For the hemp plants.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Yes, all the sweet little chimneys that came back last year For the hemp plants.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yep Seeded themselves.
- 28:41Speaker 2: The show must go on.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Which kind of relates to the rose, where you had just read that the seed stays in the ground.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Vital, vital seed for 20 years.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy to even comprehend.
- 28:58Speaker 2: I believe that about hemp too.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I do too.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Seriously, I think there's still some ditchweed here around Wisconsin from way back in the day and that is cross-pollinating with a lot.
- 29:08Speaker 1: But that is our plant ally.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I don't know if this is a good segue, mm-hmm, or yeah, into our plant ally of the episode.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Any guesses?
- 29:23Speaker 1: You all, you guys, know what these blossoms are she's a prick.
- 29:29Speaker 2: She's got perks on her.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Every rose, every rose, ooh that's a good yes, you got it rose.
- 29:47Speaker 2: I call it wild rose.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yes, one of the books said bramblin' rose.
- 29:52Speaker 2: That was cute.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I think there's a song like that yeah, it sounds familiar but the technical name is Rosa Malta Flora.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yes, rosa Malta Flora, but, being Malta, like many different types, so there's over 100 different species of the Rose family, the Rosa Caceae family, and it's just a variety.
- 30:22Speaker 1: It's a perennial shrub that keeps morphing and cross-pollinating and creating new varieties according to what's good in the area.
- 30:29Speaker 1: But it came from China, asia.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Asia yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 2: So, does that?
- 30:36Speaker 1: mean it's not native, it was.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It looks oriental.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Ornamental Ornamental Initially, but then they realized it was good for soil erosion, so they would plant it as like a fence a living fence they would call it.
- 30:51Speaker 2: And we know on the property here every other plant seemed to be rose in the fence line.
- 30:59Speaker 2: But yeah, keep out.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yeah, right, get off my land Nature's barbed wire For real.
- 31:08Speaker 1: We were just harvesting that.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Gee, they have the raspberries.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I know Wild raspberries here.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Good luck Raspberry.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah, time for wearier.
- 31:16Speaker 1: As they sneak on and steal a couple of hemp plants.
- 31:19Speaker 1: We can ask that so much Like do people come on your property.
- 31:22Speaker 1: No it's private property.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Like good luck out there.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Mother Nature's going to get you With good vibes.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Hey, and by all means right.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not necessarily saying I'm inviting people to come and take what.
- 31:37Speaker 1: You're more than welcome.
- 31:38Speaker 1: All you have to do is ask.
- 31:40Speaker 1: amen, not to get off subject to this beautiful rose, yes, that we find wild growing all over the farm here.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Right now is the best time to harvest these blossoms, which are super delicate and delicious in a tea.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Salad oh, eat edible, we should have one right now.
- 31:58Speaker 1: And delicious in a tea, mm-hmm.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Or salad, oh, eat edible, we should have one right now.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Mm-hmm, do you want to wet my whistle?
- 32:04Speaker 2: They're very soft, so they're great for constipation to help get things moving.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Great for your skin, oh, great for blood flow, your cardiovascular, the hips, skin, blood flow, your cardiovascular, the hips, the petals and the leaves are all edible, which makes sense because you're not going to chew on the stem with the horns.
- 32:36Speaker 2: I mean, it's just beautiful.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Many different colors too, like you said Red, pink I feel like a lot of them are bred that way, right To get them multicolored and beautiful.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But I feel like this is beautiful as it is Just light and delicate.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Mm-hmm, this wild one, but don't mess with her because she'll poke you.
- 33:04Speaker 1: It just doesn't look like your traditional rose, this wild one, and when the flowers are done blooming they turn into the hips, which you call rose hips, and then they get rather hard.
- 33:18Speaker 1: So you almost have to grind them up to use them and steep them and treat them almost like a root, I would say when you steep them, because it's going to take a little bit more, but these are packed with vitamin C and other nutritious vitamins that are really going to bolster up your system and that's why they're really good for your digestion as well.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So a very calming, very soothing plant.
- 33:42Speaker 1: When you think of rose, you think of love and, of course, when you think of love it's all in your heart chakra, and this is a great heart opener, as I love how energetic all the little stigma and styles are.
- 33:58Speaker 1: There's kind of like reaching out and I don't know if you can exactly see it, but they're really special that way.
- 34:05Speaker 1: So it kind of plays to their energetics and with the, with your heart, and kind of opening that up.
- 34:12Speaker 1: But yet it's cooling astringent ways.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I really cool too and see that cooling energy, calming energy, because like, attract, like remember.
- 34:23Speaker 1: So a red rose it's kind of ironic that it's good for redness and inflammation and kind of can calm any of that down, but very hydrating as well, kind of like.
- 34:37Speaker 1: People use it a lot as rose water.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Have you ever made a hydrosol with rose petals?
- 34:43Speaker 2: I have not, but I have seen it done.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I watch videos to learn how to.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I just haven't executed I have once I'm gonna I mean to do it more, but it's so easy.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Honestly, it's like an ice bath and you collect it in a bowl and it all just collects right there, this rose water, and that you can use, throw in some witch hazel and some distilled water and some of your favorite essential oil, or just keep the rose essence, I mean, if you will, but you'd have yourself a wonderful astringent mist to help refresh yourself in these summer months.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Yes, we have rose water in our refresh yourself mist here, absolutely.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And I feel like that'd be so cool to use our own rose water that we made on the farm.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And to this what do you say Should we do?
- 35:29Speaker 2: it.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, we should collect enough of these.
- 35:31Speaker 1: They're tiny, I know right, that'd be quite a few yes, or we'll wait until we get roses and make sure they're organic.
- 35:40Speaker 2: We will practice.
- 35:42Speaker 1: With our personal stash.
- 35:43Speaker 2: We'll let you know how it goes.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Our private stash Sunshine.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Because it is a lot of effort and intention going into it but I think a little bit does go a long way if we did just want to make a tea with it and then kind of play with it in that regard too, yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I say let's get crafty, let's try it all.
- 36:04Speaker 2: See what this beauty has in store.
- 36:07Speaker 1: But a cute essential beauty product thing that you could find in a lot of products and know that it's natural and amazing and it grows wild here in Wisconsin and if you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend getting out there and getting yourself and playing yourself and share what you came up with.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I'd be really interested to hear it.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Jellies, jams.
- 36:29Speaker 2: People bake with the rose hips.
- 36:32Speaker 2: They're tart, yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 2: So add them to your cuisine, make a tea, add them to a salad.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yes, it's that antioxidant combating free radicals.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I kind of just think that's kind of crazy to think of.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Um, that's how it helps with stress and anxiety.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So I feel like the calming, soothing kind of goes back in there kind of like a one-stop shop.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Right yeah, anti-aging, antibacterial it's just funny that it comes now and you got to think in the season of when you kind of need that antibacterial, that that that calming with all the allergies that are out and about the cotton or the basswood trees are, the many wishes are in full bloom right now, but it's kind of cool that nature gives you this to help combat all that and keep your heart open and your body toned for the summer months when your blood really gets a moving, so it can allow that.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Hydrate, yeah, hydration, wow, yeah, that's the flavonoids.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Is this kind of like the stinging nettle where we go like this and get like you know what I mean?
- 37:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't hurt.
- 37:48Speaker 2: You can get some essential oils as long as you don't get the flowers, I don't mind it.
- 37:54Speaker 1: You know what I actually really like slapping myself with different herbs to experience them, yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I feel like that's kind of like Use all your senses and really really smell it.
- 38:04Speaker 2: It's just, it's beautiful.
- 38:06Speaker 2: It's light, so light, very fragrant.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Fragrant flavonoids.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Yes, oh, so good.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Thanks for allowing us to share, rosieie with you.
- 38:23Speaker 1: She's a beauty.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Oh, that reminds me of sippy, hippie, uh-huh, hippie, hippie and the red vw.
- 38:25Speaker 1: This is good connecting well.
- 38:30Speaker 1: This is connecting super well.
- 38:32Speaker 1: And our another and another topical that I wanted to highlight here was our body balm from our small batch, 100% organic and high vibrational hemp that we use in here, 1,200 milligrams of cannabinoids it's super, super concentrated In one ounce, so concentrated.

- 39:30Speaker 1: They love it.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Itchies they use it mostly for itchies.
- 39:33Speaker 1: They're like horsefly bites, mosquito bites, sunburn.
- 39:36Speaker 1: They know it helps too and honestly, I feel like it comes to when they're sick and the way you know that, the eucalyptus, the essential oil, that's in here it really helps open up your airways and pathways and put it right on your chest.

- 40:46Speaker 1: People just love it because you get instant relief with it.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but the thing is, the relief doesn't last forever.
- 40:52Speaker 1: It is a topical, so you know, might last for an hour, two hours Maybe you have to then reapply.
- 40:57Speaker 1: What's that?

- 51:16Speaker 2: We did the bees this week too.
- 51:17Speaker 2: We checked for queen cups, disassembled the hives very diligently with all respect, only one bee sting.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I'll take one for the team.
- 51:28Speaker 2: I chewed plantain right away and rubbed it on it and made a little poultice Look, you can't even like normally it would be like crazy big, but it's not and mud Threw some mud on there.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And then, of course, the balm FYI.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Of course the balm FYI.
- 51:48Speaker 2: You have to be showered and take it all off.
- 51:51Speaker 2: Then the balm yes, aha.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah, those bees are.
- 51:57Speaker 1: They're producing, they're such magical creatures.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I'm in awe and wonder of them every single time and how they contribute to the pollination and the vital energy that they have.
- 52:14Speaker 1: And I'm so happy that we got to sit out there by the hive and have that little meditation with our bee babies this season, this spring season.
- 52:24Speaker 1: It was really neat.
- 52:25Speaker 1: That was so special.
- 52:27Speaker 2: I love when we we don't have much time just to sit and like soak it all in, but that was truly intentional.
- 52:33Speaker 2: And our bee affirmations.
- 52:37Speaker 1: I think we're getting better at making that time.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I think we are we're doing it.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 1: And the bees teach you just that to kind kind of slow down, stop and smell the flowers.
- 52:46Speaker 1: And they hop from each one and do their beautiful work collecting that pollen.
- 52:52Speaker 1: It's a lot of work.
- 52:54Speaker 1: And sweet, sweet nectar that they make the nectar of the gods for honey, liquid gold.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Oh, it's so good and so good for you.
- 53:04Speaker 1: When you talk about ancient healing, yeah, an ancient medicine.
- 53:09Speaker 1: It's what the bees are producing.
- 53:11Speaker 1: The preservative there, because you can pretty much put anything in honey and it'll preserve it.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah, for you it does not go bad.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Highly recommend the garlic, ginger turmeric honey blend.
- 53:25Speaker 1: That's what we do I do with a big portion of the honey that we harvest is make that and share it with friends and family.
- 53:31Speaker 2: They kind of give me the funny look they do.
- 53:33Speaker 2: They're like what do you want me to do with?

- 53:35Speaker 1: Just eat it.
