  - We're gonna be exploring

  - what happens when God gives the next step

  - instead of the full plan.

  - Now the scripture tells us that we walk
• 1:05
  - by faith and not by sight.
• 1:08
  - And
• 1:09
  - what I love about this verse here is
• 1:12
  - that God
• 1:13
  - is very, very
• 1:15
  - intentional
• 1:16
  - and quite ingenious.
• 1:19
  - He knows that if
• 1:22
  - we knew the entire plot to the story,
• 1:26
  - we wouldn't wanna be part of any of
• 1:28
  - it.
• 1:29
  - So what he does is he wets our
• 1:31
  - appetite
• 1:32
  - with a cliffhanger,
• 1:34
  - something exciting,
• 1:36
  - and then gets us started on the journey
• 1:40
  - and
• 1:42
  - works us through each process
• 1:45
  - in in in the stage
• 1:46
  - so that we don't get overwhelmed.

  - But what happens is

  - we often want that to reveal the entire
• 1:53
  - road map before we move.

  - We want certainty, guarantees, and complete understanding.

  - But God frequently
• 2:03
  - provides just enough light for the next step,

  - not the entire journey.

  - Because it's an issue of trust.

  - Will you trust me?
• 2:16
  - Will you take me at my word?

  - So the next time you come to a

  - crossword
• 2:24
  - and want God to give you the full
• 2:26
  - plan,
• 2:28
  - just remember,
• 2:30
  - if he gave you the full plan, you

  - wouldn't wanna be part of any of the

  - plot.

  - That being said,

  - Heavenly father, teach us to trust you

  - one step at a time.

  - When we want the entire plan, remind us

  - that your word is a lamp to our

  - a light to our path.

  - Help us walk in obedience with guidance

  - you have already provided.

  - Give us faith for today's step and trust

  - for tomorrow's journey.

  - Let us find confidence in your presence

  - rather than certainty in our circumstances.
