- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I wasn't allowed to practice astrology or study astrology when I was growing up.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: So it was a forbidden fruit and therefore extremely attractive.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: We are relating our life's journey, our soul's progress, our consciousness to the sun's journey.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: That's the whole idea of astrology.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: We can't call knowledge our own until we actually can commit it to memory.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: So this week's guest is truly amazing.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So I had so much fun recording this episode.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: So this week we have Rachel Caperso on the show, and she is the founder of Aeolian Heart Astrology.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: So she's an astrologer, and she is just one of the most profound astrologers that I've ever come into contact with.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: And you guys all know I'm basically obsessed with astrology.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And there's something about her voice and the way that she describes things that is truly poetic and just makes you feel so held and supported and understood, even just in listening to her describe astrology.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Um, I actually am a client of hers and she's a client of mine now because we so deeply connected.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: And I also joined her Patreon, which I want to recommend everybody do because she sends out a weekly astrology voicemail, which is basically just a like a 20 or 30 minute recording about the astrology for the week.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: And I love listening to those just because her voice is so amazing and the way she describes things is just so beautiful, and it has this capacity to really help you tune in to the energy and to yourself.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: So I highly recommend it.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: I think it's like, I don't remember, like$10 or$20 a month to do her, or it's probably less.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I think it's$10 a month to sign up for her Patreon.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna link that below.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: So I recommend everybody do that.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Um, and then also I just signed on to do this six-month astrology deep dive mentorship with her.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: And we had our first session the other day, and oh my god, you guys, it completely has blown my mind and completely shifted the way I'm looking at myself and the work that I do and just the way she interpreted my chart and the work that I do.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Like it just makes so much sense, and it's been so helpful for me to not only do this deep dive into my chart, but to get her support through the different transits that I'm going through and helping me really with um navigating when I should do certain things in my business and my life based on the astrological energies in my chart.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So she's truly amazing.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: If this is something that you'd be interested in, she's offering 40% off for my audience who does the astrology mentorship with her.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: And um, we're gonna link this below.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: She created a code that is Elise Breathes, but she's truly amazing, and I know you're gonna love this interview.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And then also the other thing I just wanted to remind you all of is if you have not listened to my episode with Dr.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Robin McKay, you need to go back and listen to it.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: It's episode 21, and she is just one of my favorite people, a dear friend and colleague, and her work is just so important right now.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Like she's a psychologist, but she works with Fortune 500 companies.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: She's an advisor to executives and CEOs, and she helps people who are highly successful integrate spirit and emotion.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And she gives this test called the Neo assessment, which I'm sure you've heard me talk about, where she measures your spiritual intelligence and basically tells you about your spiritual gifts.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: And I highly recommend getting the Neo assessment.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna link all of this below because everyone has to check her out.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Um, she also has a podcast called Mindset RX that you definitely want to check out.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And also um, you can follow her on Instagram at Dr.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Robin McKay and also take her leadership styles quiz at her website.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: I highly recommend doing the Neo assessment with her because it helped me gain so much insight into what my gifts truly are and helped me to truly embody them.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: So I highly recommend that.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: And then last but not least, next week I'm doing a really potent transmission for you called the Quantum Codes on October 17th at 4 p.m.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: I highly recommend joining.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: It's an hour-long transmission where I'm going to activate your ability to work with your own energy to powerfully manifest because energy is everything in the new paradigm, you guys.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: This is the message that I continually get over and over again that your ability to work with your energy and manage your energy is everything because you manifest with your energy.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to activate your ability, your unique coding to work with your own energy to powerfully create the reality that you want to create and live a life that's in alignment with your true energetic coding.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: So uh join me for that.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: We'll link that below.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: It's on Monday at 4 p.m.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Eastern.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: If you can't make it live, we'll send you out the recording.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: It's 197 to join us for that.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: And everyone who joins will get a special invitation to enter my world in a very special way.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: So, with that being said, I'm sending you so much love and enjoy the episode.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Hi, everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: So, I am super excited for today's guest.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Today we have Rachel Carperso with us, and Rachel is the creator of a Olean Heart astrology, a voice that speaks to free spirits and free minds.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: She illuminates the timeless wisdom of Hermetic philosophy with a unique blend of pop culture, history, and art.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: And she believes that astrology is magic because following the rhythm of the planets reveals life as a grateful dance.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: I could not agree more.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Rachel, welcome to the show.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much, Elise.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: It's a pleasure to be here.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I just love to dive right in.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: So, first of all, can you just share with us just like a little bit about your story, your awakening, and kind of how you came into astrology and what you're doing now?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: I will try to summarize it.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: Like almost everything in life, it's not yeah, there's like a lot of layers to it.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Um, how I became a nostalgia is a lot of layers to it.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: But just like uh the quick synopsis I was raised Christian.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: My mom was a super devout, born-again Christian, and she still is, as a matter of fact, she's very sincere.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: And for the most part, I really appreciate a lot of the things that she instilled in me in terms of her values and her worldview, because she is a truly deeply loving person, and she taught me a lot about how to navigate the world from that position.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: But one of the things that her perspective made her believe very firmly was that something like astrology was very dangerous.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: And I wasn't allowed to practice astrology or study astrology when I was growing up.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: So it was a forbidden fruit when I was growing up and therefore extremely attractive.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: So I kind of got into astrology as a young girl, like a lot of people do.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: And then when I ended up in college as a college student, I pushed aside both my religious upbringing as well as things like astrology, because I was so young and impressionable that I adopted the dogmatic materialist view, because that's what I thought at the time represented intellectual strength.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: And so I wanted to be smart, like my professors.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: I wanted to become educated.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: And so I made this really foolish but very common mistake, which is that I adopted another religious worldview, which was that of dogmatic materialism.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: And I was completely, I completely rejected things like astrology based on arguments that I heard and then therefore adopted and repeated.
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: So ultimately, it was a very good lesson in thinking for yourself because I wasn't really happy in that paradigm.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: I didn't last very long.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: It was really unfulfilling because I've always been a very um artistic and poetic person.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: I've always loved mythology, I've always loved fairy tales, I've always had a deep, deep sense of the numinous, and therefore that way of looking at life just did not do it for me.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: And I eventually came back around to astrology through my study of anthropology, witchcraft, magic, religion, mythology.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: And I just couldn't stop myself.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: So I dove back into it.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: And while I was in school, I had like this uh sort of shame about my interest in astrology until grad school, at which point when I was doing research papers in humanities, by the way.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: I got my master's degree in humanities.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: I started incorporating astrology into my essays.
- 10:19SPEAKER_01: And it took me a lot of argument and a lot of effort to get my professors to actually allow me to use astrology as a lens of perspective to examine historical times, historical figures, et cetera, et cetera.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: But I ended up getting some of my professors at least to allow me to use astrology as a thread in my research.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: And that really helped everything to click in such a way that when I finally graduated, over-educated, underemployed, I was inspired, truly just inspired to start my own astrology blog.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: And one thing led to another.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: My astrology blog sort of picked up speed, it picked up momentum in this really magical way.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: And before I knew it, it was a full-time job.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: And now this is what I do for a living.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: And I spend all of my time writing about what I want to write about, talking to people from all over the world about their natal charts, doing all of this amazing work that I had only once dreamed of being able to do.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: And at one point in my life, I didn't even dream of it because I didn't think it was possible.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: So that is the very short version of how I became an astrologer.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you for sharing that.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: Um I'm just curious to know too, how does your mom or your family feel about that based on like their religious perspective?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: My mom has become much more open-minded and comfortable with it as the years have progressed.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: She was very upset at first when I told her that I was becoming an astrologer professionally.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: And she said, but there's so many con artists and so many grifters.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: There's so many bad people in that field.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: And I said, Mom, that is true, but there are so many con artists and grifters in every field.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: And that's what I had learned by that point in my life.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: And I have actually, since then, actually sat down and looked at my mom's natal chart with her, which was something I didn't think I would ever get to do.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: And she's eventually opened up to what it is and how I use it.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: And she has learned to appreciate what it is that I do.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: And so it's actually a pretty happy ending in terms of meeting each other halfway, you know.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: So I respect where she was coming from because she was doing her best to protect me.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: And astrology has been used for many nefarious reasons throughout the ages.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: It's not a totally 100% happy story.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: You know, its lineage contains a lot of abuses of power.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: There have been many, many centuries where astrologers were the right-hand advisors of the royalty.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: And that always brings with it power, corruption, and lies.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: You know, like astrology has a very, we'll say, you know, it has a sketchy past.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: It has many beautiful uses and a lot of, you know, wonderful applications that are really pro-human and that get one closer to the divine and open up imagination.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: But like anything, astrology has a lot of corruption in its history as well.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So she wasn't entirely wrong, you know.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: She wasn't entirely wrong.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: I always find too, or at least I found for me, like we actually as kids, and I'm sure like even our kids will do this for us, but we kind of open our parents up and activate them in ways that they need to be activated.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Like I know for me, I've really stretched my parents to accept things that they probably otherwise would not have tried ever to accept and understand, but they were just kind of forced to because I was doing it.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: And if they wanted to love me unconditionally, they had to like open up to it and accept it.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: So I feel like we we kind of do that for our parents.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: And then also the other thing I can relate to what you shared so much about just, you know, you just started doing it and it just started happening.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: And like, even though it's not always an easy path, I know I experienced that too when I started sharing my abilities and my gifts, everything just kind of started falling into place.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: And like it's not always an easy path, but when you're doing what's an alignment, it always kind of unfolds in this perfect magical way.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: So I love that so much.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: So I really just want to dive in because I know there's so much we can talk about astrologically, and I'd love to hear just kind of your perspective on.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: I guess we could just start with like what's happening currently, and then maybe just kind of go out to like some of the broader perspectives or whatever you feel like is pertinent to share right now about what's happening astrologically.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: So at the moment, we're in the second week of July, so that's cancer season.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: And we're looking at right now one of, believe it or not, the sweeter, more quiet spots in the year.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: This kind of middle of July is ultimately a sort of oasis.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: And I like to think of the season of cancer as offering that in general.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying that every moment is going to be blissful, but when we hit cancer season, it's really important to know that, you know, the language of astrology is northern hemisphere-centric.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: So it's not that we completely disclude the southern hemisphere's experience, but all of the symbolism is derived from the northern hemisphere.
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: So cancer season follows the solstice in the northern hemisphere.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: And what happens after the solstice is that the sun begins very subtly, but still begins to descend.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: It actually stops ascending, it stops rising higher and higher in the sky, and it begins its slow path of descent.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: So essentially, what that indicates is that the sun, which was climbing higher and higher and higher, and the days were growing longer and longer, that finally begins to yield.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: That struggle of ascent begins to yield to ultimately the night, the darkness, the lunar element of life.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: And so what we actually get to experience on a deep soul level in cancer season is a moment of relaxation.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: We get to actually yield some of our struggle and we get to allow a little bit of a space to form around us that is very much akin to an oasis.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Because we're on this long journey through the year.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: The sun is on a long journey through the zodiac, and we are relating our life's journey, our soul's progress, our consciousness to the sun's journey.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: That's the whole idea of astrology is that we weave our internal experience to the external experience and create a myth.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: We create a play, if you will.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: There's a narrative for us to actually link our internal world to in order to contextualize what's happening in our own development.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: So the season of cancer represents an oasis, which is a place where you can rest and rejuvenate a little bit.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: You can actually yield a little bit to dreams, daydreams, and you can become ensconced in this little world of safety where things are very lush and things are very nice.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: Because cancer is all about just yielding a little bit and therefore receiving, therefore allowing life to unfold, allowing what's already been set into motion to begin to come into bloom.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: And once again, in the northern hemisphere at this time, the beginning of summer, we see so much flourishing and ripening all around us.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: And that is exactly what is happening within.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't happen through more striving and more pushing and more struggle.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Everything that's starting to swell and ripen on the vine or on the tree branches, that process was set into motion long ago.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: And that's exactly what's going on inside of all of us.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: And so it's so important during cancer season to do your best to allow space for a little bit of yielding, daydreaming, a little bit of relaxation, not pushing hard.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: This is not the time to be putting the pedal to the metal.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: This is not the time to be struggling.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: You have already worked so hard.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: You were climbing so high in alignment with the sun's ascent.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: You were doing a lot to grow, a lot to ascend yourself.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: And now you get to actually reap the rewards.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: You get to actually enjoy some of the fruits of your labors.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: So that's what cancer season's all about on a wide scale.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: And there's not a tremendous amount of drama in Cancer Season in terms of planetary transits.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: We have right now Mercury also in Cancer, which brings us as a collective mind into the waters of memory.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Memory being the place in consciousness where knowledge is actually retained.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: You know, we all understand in this information age, especially, we chew and spit so much of our information.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: It goes in, it goes out.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: It's not retained.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: And it's incredibly frantic and exhausting.
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: And it's ultimately useless to be overstimulated mentally and not be able to retain anything.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: We can't call knowledge our own until we actually can commit it to memory.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: That imprint that is made on our consciousness that we can then go and retrieve at any given moment is what real learning is all about.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: And so to have the sun in cancer as well as Mercury in Cancer is asking all of us to allow things to be committed to memory, to actually explore the realm of memory as well, not just making new memories, but also like how much of a library of memory each one of us actually is.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: And this is where it gets very deep because while Mercury transits through cancer, we are drawn into a place within that is more than, it's deeper than just our memories.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Our personal memories and our experiences that we've held and retained as images, as thoughts, as feelings, as impressions, that's all very important.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: But we contain even more than our own memories.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: We have our ancestral memories like written into our DNA, into our bones.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: And so each one of us comes with this kind of well of wisdom from the past that we're not even necessarily conscious of.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: And so that's another reason why this period, cancer season, with Mercury also transiting through cancer, it's a very good time to allow yourself to be still and go deep into that realm of memory.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: Explore what's actually already written within you, what you already know and know deeply.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: And this is so essential to navigate the rest of the year because this is the only way to know who you really are, is to actually take the time to explore what it is you know based on your experience, based on your love.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Life story and how your life story is written is shaped by the way you remember things.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: And there's a lot of artistic license that can be taken as well.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: Memories can be shaped.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: We can look at memories from different angles and change our perception, change the direction of our life, even.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: The way we tell our story and the way we're living our life is based on the way we remember things.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: And so it's an incredibly magical time.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: It's very potent.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: And just like fruit is ripening on the vine, there is something that is ripening, swelling, becoming more alive, more fragrant, more juicy, more nutritious within your soul.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: And that's what this time is about.
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: So we have to honor the past during cancer season.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: And in doing so, just like an oasis nourishes a traveler who's been stuck in the desert for weeks and they finally can sit down and be hydrated and have all the fruit and rest and shade that they need and therefore become rejuvenated.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Digging into the past does exactly the same thing for all of us because memory is the source of all learning.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: And I love to teach that, you know, in Greek mythology, memory was the mother of the nine muses.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: The nine muses being representative of all the arts and sciences, all of the paths of inspiration that humanity was overtaken by, whether that is dance or music or the creation of history, which is pretty meta because history was considered an art by the Greeks, meaning the art of remembering, right?
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: The story that you're telling about an entire culture or entire an entire civilization is very important.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: So history was one of these arts.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: All of these arts were born from memory.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: And so we can look at that as the fountain of inspiration that we all need to be rejuvenated and restored.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: And so most of Cancer season is really devoted to that and to that process.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: And it's something that can easily be missed in the modern world, where we're always asked to go, go, go, constantly be progressing, constantly be the sun that's rising all the time, always be on a path of ascent.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: And that is just not how astrology works.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: That's not what this language teaches us about life, about nature, about how things unfold within us and outside of us.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, cancer season, it is such an important time because even though it's summer and even though it's an exciting time where a lot of things are in motion, we're supposed to be very still and we're supposed to be becoming nourished by our own remembrance of the past, our own connection to ancestral wisdom, by our own inner world and allowing our imagination to do what nature is doing, which is to start bearing tremendous fruits.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: And so, yeah.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: I feel like you're such an amazing, just like the way you explain things is so deep that I feel like it's generating all of these like connections that I'm kind of drawing to around just this time of year and how this is a time where like you go on vacation, right?
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Or like you have that rest period.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Um, and also I just noticed too that I always see this like cancer season two as kind of this opportunity for inner child healing as well.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: Cause I that's kind of what I do with people, right?
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: So I'm kind of always looking at it through that lens, but it just feels like that was just what was occurring to me too.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I love that and I love how you explained all of that.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: And then just specifically, because I know just right now we're at this very crazy time on the planet where all of these changes are happening, and what would you say are some just like fascinating or important or pertinent things from your perspective about the changes we're seeing on the world and how that kind of relates astrologically?
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: And I know there's a lot, but there are and there is a lot, and one of the things that is definitely going to be happening again in the fall is uh this square between Saturn in Aquarius and Aranus.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: So this square was the signature aspect of 2021.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: So if you wanted to just kind of have a quick astrological snapshot of what was so messed up about 2021, it was that squaring between Saturn and Uranus, which is a tense war, if you will.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: We could call it a war between two planets that represent completely opposite energies, opposite influences.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: Saturn in Aquarius represents form, it represents law and order, it represents some tried and true traditions, if you will, traditional manners of doing things, customs, and even though it's Aquarius, it's still Saturn.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: And Saturn represents bringing things into form, solidity, stability, structure, discipline, and often is associated with authority.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: So, you know, when Saturn entered Aquarius in March of 2020, what happened?
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: We went into lockdowns worldwide.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Like we just hit a wall of authoritarianism just coming down so hard, like in a manner that most people had only had nightmares about.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: And yet it was too like almost the day, pretty much Saturn moves into Aquarius and we're on lockdown all across the world.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Just this like heavy hand of authoritarianism emerges in the collective.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: And when this planet, Saturn and Aquarius, makes a square to Uranus and Taurus.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: Now, Aranis is very different.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: Aranis represents radical shocks, rebellion, paradigm shifts, um, things that are splitting apart.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, it represents like a lightning bolt, which is both rejuvenating, revivifying to the earth.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: Certainly, the earth needs to be fed by electricity, but it's also rather destructive.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: It's not the easiest energy for humanity to appreciate because it is creation and destruction.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: It's chaos, but it's creative chaos.
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: So when Saturn clashes with this lightning bolt of radical and rebellious energy, we got a very difficult time.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: We got a very difficult energy.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: And this is happening again in the fall.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: And it tends to be associated with some very, very difficult energy because it's asking for consciousness to shift.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: It symbolizes a crisis of awareness, a breakthrough in thinking, because when there is this tension, it's like tectonic plates hitting each other.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: There's an earthquake and it changes the landscape of how it is that we view our world, how it is that we relate to power, how it is that we relate to one another, how society is shaped, how it is formed.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: So it is creative chaos.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: It's also very destructive and it's very tense.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: And this is happening again this year.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: And what's really interesting is that this squaring between Saturn and Uranus, it happens in this larger cycle.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: It happens all the time.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: But this cycle that we're in, this current Saturn Uranus cycle, actually goes all the way back to the 80s.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: And so we're in like a giant cycle of time that began in 1988.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: And what's very interesting is that, you know, back in like the late 80s, that's really when the global corporate capitalist system that we all are really threatened by right now, very suspicious of, very angry about, really threatened by everybody in their own way for sure.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: There's different camps and factions, there's different teams of criticism, but almost everybody has a problem with what's going on right now in terms of that corporate global capitalist paradigm, which um has really abused their power, like really overextended and abused their power.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: But nevertheless, the seeds of that were planted very much so at that time when this current, you know, when the first seed of this Saturn Uranus cycle was planted.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: And it had some really significant moments along the way where, yes, it was planted in '88 and it was in the sign of Sagittarius, which is associated with overexpansion, which is associated with a kind of religious zeal.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: And so, from an astrological perspective, what we kind of see is like that paradigm, that global corporate capitalist paradigm, whatever you want to call it, there's a lot of different names for it, you know?
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: What do you call it, for example?
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: I'm just curious.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: I guess I could call it the Matrix, right?
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: Well, I guess yeah.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: Matrix.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: The matrix that we're living in right now was sort of born at that time.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: And it was born when Saturn and Uranus were conjunct.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: And then the first square that happened was actually in 99, 2000.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: So that was when the um the dot com bubble burst.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Everybody remembers that, or at least you've heard of it if you weren't born yet.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: And that was interesting because that was back when Uranus was in Aquarius and Saturn was in Taurus.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: So they were switched in their signs.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: That was what we call a waxing square, meaning that that energy was gaining momentum and gaining power.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: So when that bubble burst, it was a crisis because the square creates crisis.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: And what really happened was that we learned nothing.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: We just kept going down the same path.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: You know, it was like it was a crisis.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: There was a lot of money lost, but there wasn't really any sense of caution.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: Nobody really learned anything.
- 32:36SPEAKER_01: We just kept going.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: And then the next key moment in this cycle was when the subprime mortgage bubble burst in 2008, 2009.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: Now that is a key moment because that was the Aranis-Saturn opposition.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: It's just like a clock, you know, it goes to three o'clock, six o'clock, which is opposition, then nine o'clock, which is the waning square.
- 33:01SPEAKER_01: So in 2008, 2009, we see the planet Pluto.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: It's a very dark energy, very dark, heavy influence.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: We see the planet Pluto enter into the sign of Capricorn, which is very, very important for the United States, because that signaled the beginning of the United States' Pluto return.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: And I'll talk about that in a minute if you want to talk about that.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Love though.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: The dawn of the US Pluto return was a big deal.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: And it happened simultaneously with this opposition, which brought another economic crisis, another economic crisis that was trying to teach us that you cannot just overinflate everything.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: You cannot just throw more cash on the fire, like and not keep going down this path.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: But nevertheless, we kept going down that path.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: So here we are in the next important moment of this cycle.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: And that was 2021 to 2022.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: Um, it was a major feature of 21, but we're having the next square, and it's not going to be exact, it's going to be almost exact, but nevertheless, it's going to be something that really is felt.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: And that's going to happen in September, October of this year, 2022.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: And so what this represents is a crisis that is going to start actually forcing us to learn some lessons because this cycle is going to be over at some point.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: It's actually on its way out now.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: We're actually seeing that cycle that was born in 88, that paradigm, that religious zeal for global expansion, global greed, endless exploitation of industry and people and resources, all of that, that whole way of life, that whole paradigm is literally crumbling.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: And that can be absolutely terrifying news.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: It can also be glory hallelujah news because I don't feel like anybody is truly happy with the way things are going, except for a very small, small, small amount of people who are deluded by the addiction they have to power and money.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: But nobody else is happy.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: Nobody else likes this system.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: Everybody pines for and longs for better days.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: We all idealize the past.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: We all know that we're doing things in a really unhealthy way.
- 35:29SPEAKER_01: We all know it's all very unsustainable.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: And so, in some ways, I feel like this is a great time, as challenging as it is, and I'm not trying to make light of it because there's a tremendous amount of difficulty that's upon us right now.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: But that world that we all want to see change is going to have to change because it's losing its power, it's losing its influence.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: And it's partly because of Saturn and Uranus, this cycle between tradition and radicalism, those two dynamic energies that come into clashes with one another, force change.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: It's just like an earthquake, which literally changes the lay of the land.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: You know, it brings up new minerals, it releases different gases from the earth's crust.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: It does all kinds of stuff that's great for the earth.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: It's not great for the people that live on top of it.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: And I live in LA, so knock on wood.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: But but it is earthquakes are good for the earth, you know, not for us, but good for the earth.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: These are these are like astrological earthquakes, you know, they're changing the shape of things, the lay of the land.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: And what happens when humanity is put under evolutionary pressure?
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: New inventions arise, new ideas, new ways of doing things, new ways of organizing.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: It is a necessity that's the mother of invention.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: When everybody's comfortable, nobody does anything exciting or new.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: Nobody actually evolves quickly when everything is placid and lovely and comfortable.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: And that's the unfortunate reality of life is that it requires a tremendous amount of discomfort and pressure for actual paradigm shifting, lasting change, new inventions, new inspiration to be born.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: And all of us know this is true about our personal lives.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: You know, it's like when stuff gets really scary, that's when we hop to it, you know, when uh new date is seriously coming up, you just write that paper, you know, like it's and you just find the strength, you know?
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: And um, but not when you have two weeks to write it.
- 37:35SPEAKER_01: Then you're like looking at your screen, la la la, uh, let me go do something else.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: So we're like in that kind of a situation right now where um, yeah, it's really uncomfortable.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: But a lot of the terrible things that we all really disagree with and dislike are losing power.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: They are losing influence.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: Their time is coming to an end, and that's what this period represents.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: So rather than everybody despairing and assuming that this is all terrible for their future, I think that we should try to keep it in perspective and say, no, not really, because these crisis points are normal.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: They've happened before.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: There was a waning Saturn Uranus square during the Great Depression.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: And I know that sounds like foreboding news, but for me, I'm like, hey, I knew my great-grandmother.
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: I used to visit her every summer, and she lived through that, and she got through it as well as can be expected.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: You know, she did what she had to do, she made it past that time, and it made her stronger.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: And I got to see somebody who lived through the depression, made it through that time in one piece.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: She was abandoned by her husband, raised children during that time.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: It was very difficult, and she had a job.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm like, that is what keeps me going during times like this, because all of us have ancestors and friends that have made it through very difficult times.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: So that crisis point was a crisis, but it was not the end of the world.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: And it's this is not the end of the world either.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: You know, that's not what's happening.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: It's the end of some people's world, but the world.
- 39:11SPEAKER_01: So um, and the influence of Pluto is also just from uh the United States' perspective.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: Where are you in the US, by the way?
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: I'm in Philadelphia.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, right on.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: I've never been, I really want to visit Philadelphia.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's cool.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, obviously every place has their good and bad points, and I've been here for most of my life, but um, not all.
- 39:36SPEAKER_00: I moved away for a little bit, but it is it is cool.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: And I also think from the perspective of what's going on right now with the Pluto return and just like these vibes of like the revolution and Philly just being like kind of the center of like all of that.
- 39:51SPEAKER_00: It's interesting to be here from an energetic perspective at this time.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Um, so yeah.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think so too.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: I think it's actually a really cool spot to be because the astrology of the Pluto return was determined by the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: That's the traditional.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: There are some astrologers that disagree here and there, but they're very fringe.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: The like core of the US astrology is based upon July, you know, 1776 Declaration of Independence.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: So that is absolutely why the Pluto return is so important to understand because when the Founding Fathers signs the Declaration of Independence, it is well known that the United States was given a natal chart quite intentionally.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: Because these were esoteric men.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: They were highly educated in esoteric arts.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: Benjamin Franklin was very open about the fact that he was an astrologer.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: This was not a point of shame for him.
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: It was nothing he had to hide.
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: They believed in God and they used astrology.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: This was a very different paradigm from the one that we've been kind of conditioned to believe in today.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: Um, they were very religious men.
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: Whether or not we can relate to that in this time or not is not important.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: But they chose the US natal chart to be something that was really, really powerful, very magical.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: Everything was intentional about that date.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: But they didn't know anything about Pluto back then.
- 41:27SPEAKER_01: They had no idea.
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: So, and what Pluto represents um is this aspect of the unconscious.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: It represents what like lays down beneath the surface, the realm of Hades, the unconscious mind or the underworld.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: So the stuff that none of us are aware of.
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: And so when you look at the natal chart of the US now, you're like, oh my God, it's this perfect natal chart.
- 41:53SPEAKER_01: It's so beautiful.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: It's it's meant to create the soul of a country that is going to be prosperous and generous and warm and philosophical and brilliant and inventive, all of these wonderful things that the United States actually is.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: But you also see Pluto in Capricorn opposite the sun in Cancer, because the US is a cancer, FYI, everybody.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: It's that oasis, it's that, you know, give me you're hungry and you're sick, you know, all of that idea of bringing people from around the world to find sanctuary here is very Cancerian, you know, it's very lovely.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: But Pluto in Capricorn is opposite, and it sort of hides there in the chart, unbeknownst to these people back in the 18th century.
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: And what that represents is the imperial shadow that was in the unconscious.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: And we all know how scary it is when something like that is completely below the surface and unknown to even an individual.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: So when you have hatred in your heart or trauma in your body that you are unaware of, it's very dangerous because you can snap and become a different person.
- 43:11SPEAKER_01: You can be triggered and lose your mind.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: This is what PTSD is.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: When you haven't processed the darkness, when you haven't faced the shadow, when you haven't metabolized whatever it is you've been through, yeah, you can you can be prone to violence, you could be prone to illness, you could be prone to all kinds of things that are, you know, are not integrated.
- 43:29SPEAKER_01: And so the United States has this dark, imperial shadow.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: It's a country.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: It's taken since 1776 for Pluto to go all the way through the zodiac and come back around.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: That's how slow moving Pluto is.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: And so what that represented that period of time was the slow, subtle unveiling of the shadow of the United States, which is, as we all know, uh there's genocide slavery.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, imperialism, which is what we've been dealing with in our lifetime.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: We can look back at history and we can wring our hands and feel awful, but we also can just look right around, right now.
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: The US became the number one global superpower, meaning that it was the leader of the military-industrial complex in this world.
- 44:22SPEAKER_01: It became the super imperial power that was abusing that position so disgracefully for so many decades that it's really torn the soul of the nation apart.
- 44:36SPEAKER_01: And so when Pluto entered Capricorn back in 2008, there was the crisis, the housing crisis, of course.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: And that's when that slow unveiling of the shadow that has been unconscious in this country, in the psyche of the collective mind, slowly began to reveal itself.
- 44:58SPEAKER_01: And it's been really scary.
- 45:01SPEAKER_01: It's been really scary since 2008.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: This has been slowly unveiling and it became exact in February of this year.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: So 2022 is the beginning of the exact Pluto return.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: And that is significant because what it means is that imperialism is on its way out, too.
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: That whole idea of being the number one superpower is on its way out.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: The weakness and the lack of integrity, the corruption and the necrosis that's at the heart of all of that, that has nothing to do with what the original Declaration of Independence was about.
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: All of that is being subsumed, is being destroyed, is being taken down into the under team.
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: And then changing your practice.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: It was really trippy to support your emotional and mental health in February during the fall.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: I didn't think that's a good idea.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: Because it is going to be about it a lot of crisis.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: That Russia invaded Ukraine.
- 46:18SPEAKER_01: And Russia is doing just fine in terms of their economic power.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Russia is unstoppable right now.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: The US has no say in what goes on over there.
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: And that's the first time since World War II that the US imperial superpower was actually just like revealed to be completely feeble and rather useless.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: Meaning that that whole idea of the US-centric global order is it's over.
- 46:47SPEAKER_01: You know, the Pluto reduction took it down.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was like almost to the day.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: It was pretty incredible.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: And we're in a process now of letting go of that.
- 46:54SPEAKER_01: And that's okay because, again, I don't think this is anything that any American I know wants to fight for.
- 47:02SPEAKER_01: It was never representative of what the people wanted.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: It was never reflective of what actual people that live here were about.
- 47:11SPEAKER_01: And therefore, it's a positive thing.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: I don't want everybody to take the fall very something that would go by the wayside.
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: It's not easy and it's not pretty.
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: And I'm not saying that the war in Ukraine is good.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying that at all.
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: I'm just observing how the power dynamics shifted so radically and so quickly in perfect unison with these planetary motions, which is why astrology is so fascinating and why it's so interesting to contextualize the present moment as well as the past through this lens, because there is this rhythm to creation and destruction.
- 47:51SPEAKER_01: And astrology has a tremendous amount of insight into that rhythm.
- 47:56SPEAKER_01: It's not always easy to decipher, and it's not necessarily something that you can use for fortune telling.
- 48:05SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 48:05SPEAKER_01: But it does give you, like, oh my gosh, it gives you the sense of when the red light is going and when the green light's going, when the uh when the ebbs and the flows are going to be happening.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: And so, yeah, the US Pluto return was the beginning of the end for US imperialism.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: That's not bad because what can come after this for the United States is integration and actually fulfillment of what it was meant to become in the first place, that has taken so long for it to actually accomplish because of this schism between the unconscious and the conscious, between the light side and the dark side.
- 48:43SPEAKER_01: The integration of the nation is possible after this time.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: And um, the United States is meant to be a very prosperous country.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: It's meant to be a very generous country, it's meant to be a wonderful place.
- 48:57SPEAKER_01: It's not like this has to turn into dystopia.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: It's just that that time, that 19, that late 80s, you know, global economic vision combined with the post-World War II imperial military industrial complex, all of those things are being reshaped.
- 49:18SPEAKER_01: And again, hopefully for the better.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, there's always evil in the world, there's always problems with the way that people in power want to function and want to do things, but we can always hope that this period of time, which is very destructive, is also allowing for a tremendous amount of innovation, invention, and some maybe some equilibrium to return to the way that life is ordered, the way that societies are built, the way that economics are functioning.
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: We can hope for a lot during this time because it is so shape-shifting.
- 49:54SPEAKER_01: It is so malleable.
- 49:56SPEAKER_01: So much is falling away.
- 49:58SPEAKER_01: And when things fall away, there is the necessity for invention.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: There is the necessity for evolution.
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: And that's kind of the broadest scope of what's going on right now in this time in history.
- 50:11SPEAKER_01: The Pluto return is going to extend until 2024 as an influence.
- 50:17SPEAKER_01: So these things don't happen quickly and they're not meant to.
- 50:21SPEAKER_01: And one thing I will say about the history of the US, and my this is definitely affecting the rest of the world.
- 50:26SPEAKER_01: And that's why I keep bringing it up because it is something that's rippling out to the rest of the world.
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: But when the Declaration of Independence was signed, Pluto was in Capricorn.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: But at the end of Capricorn, the Revolutionary War wasn't won until many years later.
- 50:42SPEAKER_01: And George Washington had soldiers that were barefoot.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: It seemed very desperate and they had no food, but nevertheless, they still won the war.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: But that happened when Pluto was in Aquarius.
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: So that period of time comes up.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: We're going to get a taste of it next year in 2023.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: And then it's going to be a full-fledged influence starting in 24.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: That whole period of time can represent a tremendous amount of opportunity for common people, which is what Aquarius is really concerned with, to achieve a lot more of their rights and their voice will become more powerful and their needs will be more easily met.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: So we do have a lot of good coming in terms of just looking at what Pluto and Aquarius represents versus Pluto in Capricorn.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: It's not to say that it's utopia.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: I don't mean to oversimplify it.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: But yeah, there is a a lot more to look forward to in terms of the ideas that we have right now, the desires that we have, they're not being met, uh, to actually find some grounding and perhaps be met finally when Pluto is in Aquarius.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: And that's only two years away.
- 51:56SPEAKER_01: So we're on the edge of a lot right now, but it's not all bad.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: It's not all bad.
- 52:01SPEAKER_01: This is how things have to go down in order for the evolution that everybody wants to actually occur.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 52:11SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 52:13SPEAKER_00: Um, I love how you articulated all of that.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: And and yeah, I mean, I couldn't agree more.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: And I've heard, you know, a lot of that perspective just with like 2008 and all of that, and just kind of the progression.
- 52:26SPEAKER_00: And it makes so much sense.
- 52:28SPEAKER_00: And it's also just so fascinating to me how yes, it's not like we can predict exactly what's going to happen, but just how the energies really correlate so perfectly with actual things that are going on and how we can see that, you know, so clearly, even like what you were describing with the Pluto return and Russian Ukraine.
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: Like it literally was right then.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: You know, so it's so incredibly powerful.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Um, and then as far as anything else, because I know we we don't have a ton of time left, but is there anything else that you feel like is pertinent for us to know just for the rest of this year or even the beginning of next year?
- 53:09SPEAKER_01: I want everybody to be just on guard.
- 53:12SPEAKER_01: I'm not trying to stimulate fear because that's not a way to live.
- 53:15SPEAKER_01: And we have enough of that in everything else, right?
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: Economics and journalism.
- 53:20SPEAKER_01: Astrology should not follow that path.
- 53:22SPEAKER_01: However, there's a really tense knot of stress that's coming at the very end of July, very beginning of August.
- 53:31SPEAKER_01: So I would say like July 30th to let's say August 4th or 5th.
- 53:36SPEAKER_01: That comes because Mars in Taurus is going to conjoin Uranus and the North Node.
- 53:42SPEAKER_01: And without boring you all with jargon, let's just say that that looks like a very destructive time in a lot of ways.
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: There could be a lot of very destructive energy at that time, a lot of accidents, a lot of crazy things, a lot of accelerated disruptions.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: And this is just a time to be aware of.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: If you're interested in using astrology to understand timing and rhythm, this is a very good time to pull back, be more relaxed.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: This is not the time to push as hard as you can or exhaust yourself or put yourself into a chaotic situation.
- 54:19SPEAKER_01: If you can avoid chaos, please do, because it's going to be finding people all over the place at this time.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: Um, the positive element of this influence, however, I kind of see it like the plot of a kung fu movie.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: Um, I've been watching a lot of the 70s kung fu movies with my husband.
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: They're so good.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: I never saw them before, but most of them go like the hero is maimed in the verse in the first act, injured, wounded, some horrible thing happens, their parent is murdered, something terrible.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: The bad guys do something terrible in the first act.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: Then the second act, the hero trains and prepares for their revenge.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: And then the third act is the sweet revenge.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: It seems to me like this Mars, Aranus, North Node conjunction could bring like a drama like that, you know, like some kind of sweet revenge that has um been brewing.
- 55:13SPEAKER_01: But it can also indicate that there's gonna be some kind of need for revenge.
- 55:18SPEAKER_01: So we want to be very careful during this time because it's gonna accelerate a lot of explosions of rage.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: A lot of people are gonna be really fighting for the future.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: I don't like this for, you know, the stock market tends to respond to things like this with boom or bust.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: It's just a really dangerous time.
- 55:37SPEAKER_01: So everybody be careful.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: Be careful around that time.
- 55:40SPEAKER_01: Don't seek out chaos or trouble.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: Don't do that.
- 55:44SPEAKER_01: Chill.
- 55:45SPEAKER_01: Um, and then the other thing that is really starting in September, we're having the waning Saturn Uranus square.
- 55:53SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna experience that from mid-September to the end of October, uh October 23rd specifically.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: And right on that moment, sun enters Scorpio, October 23rd, and that brings us straight into eclipse season.
- 56:07SPEAKER_01: So election time this year is gonna be really nasty, as we could all predict.
- 56:13SPEAKER_01: We don't need astrology for that, but really the astrology does not look, it doesn't look harmonious.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: So there's not gonna be any favors done for anybody who wants to keep the peace, okay?
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: Like we've got to remember that things are gonna get really uh tense.
- 56:28SPEAKER_01: And when you just know that ahead of time and you prepare for it, you can rise above it.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: But um, the eclipse season following the Saturn Auronis square is a very, it's very intense and a lot of major shifts and major changes.
- 56:41SPEAKER_01: A lot of old traumas get pulled out by eclipses, especially in Scorpio and Taurus.
- 56:48SPEAKER_01: So the kind of work that you do, Elise, is really important right now.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: Breath work, um, any kind of healing and regenerative work.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: Be very, very open to changing your routines and changing your practices to support your emotional and mental health during the fall, because it is gonna be like a lot of crisis.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be a tangle of thorns.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: If you were stuck in a tangle of thorns, the only way to actually get through would be to stay very calm.
- 57:16SPEAKER_01: If you freak out, you're gonna get torn to shreds.
- 57:19SPEAKER_01: So stay calm and take very good care of your body.
- 57:23SPEAKER_01: And this is a reality because the north note is in Taurus, and those eclipses are gonna be drawing all of this energy into the body and awakening a lot in the psyche.
- 57:34SPEAKER_01: And that can straight up trigger people.
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: Old buried trauma, old buried emotion can be unleashed suddenly and unexpectedly.
- 57:46SPEAKER_01: And I am talking to myself right now as well.
- 57:49SPEAKER_01: And so if something like that happens, you need to know ahead of time what's happening, contextualize it in this knowledge that eclipses open up the psyche.
- 58:00SPEAKER_01: Like it's like how a pupil dilates in the dark.
- 58:04SPEAKER_01: Eclipses dilate your subconscious or your unconscious, and a lot of material that you don't know about because you can't face it in your everyday life, it just comes bubbling to the surface.
- 58:16SPEAKER_01: Ultimately, this is incredibly cathartic.
- 58:18SPEAKER_01: Ultimately, it's good for us, but it can be really scary, especially with the world seeming to be in chaos.
- 58:25SPEAKER_01: And so I want everybody to take the fall very seriously in terms of health care, somatic practices.
- 58:33SPEAKER_01: Breath work is so important.
- 58:36SPEAKER_01: What you teach is amazing and important, and people should definitely be hitting you up.
- 58:41SPEAKER_01: Anything that supports your physical and emotional and mental health is essential during this time.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: And in that regard, a lot of catharsis can occur.
- 58:54SPEAKER_01: A lot of, again, that kind of quality of a lot of wrongs can be righted during this time, and a lot of healing can take place.
- 59:03SPEAKER_01: But it's like, it's like heavy, bitter medicine.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: It's gonna hurt.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: You know, there's a lot of purging that has to take place, a lot of purging in the fall.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: So remember that and don't put yourself again under any unnecessary strain.
- 59:19SPEAKER_01: Um, invest in practices that are good for you.
- 59:23SPEAKER_01: Spend your time with people that you trust that actually respect you, you know, do the things that you need to do uh to kind of weed your life of a lot of the things that are toxic.
- 59:34SPEAKER_01: And that's what these eclipses are all about.
- 59:36SPEAKER_01: And in the wide world, things are so toxic that you could get easily get overwhelmed.
- 59:41SPEAKER_01: So if you need to withdraw and just focus on yourself and your little circle, that's okay too.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: You know, we can't always be overstretched and overextended into the the world at large or our imagination of what the world is.
- 59:55SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we need to retract.
- 59:57SPEAKER_01: Um, so these things are very, very important to remember.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_01: And again, this is because we're having the waning square between Saturn and Uranus, which is gonna bring crisis, and then there is the eclipses, which brings a tremendous amount of unconscious material to the surface.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_01: And that's all during election season, where people are just programmed and conditioned to start hating each other even more than they already do.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_00: Um wow.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you so much.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like you gave us so much information.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_00: I feel like everyone's gonna have to like listen to this two or three times.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_00: I know for me, whenever there's a couple astrologers I listen to that, they just give a lot of information, and I always listen to it a bunch of times because I feel like it needs to really sink in.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_00: So thank you for sharing all of that.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_00: I'm I mean, I'd love to have you back on because I feel like we could just go so much deeper than we already have with all of this.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, many times.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'd love to.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_00: Can you just share with everyone where they can find you and how they can connect with you and any cool things you're doing right now?
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, you can find my blog at aeolianheart.com and you can sign up for my newsletter, which is the best way to keep in touch with me because I will send you all of my astrological updates and some exclusive content, of course.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_01: So you'll always be in the loop as to what's going on.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_01: And I also teach classes and have webinars and stuff very often.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_01: So you'll be in the loop regarding when those are coming out.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_01: Right now, I am launching my creative alchemy class, which is actually a journey through the seven classical planets from the Hermetic perspective, using the seven stages of alchemy to actually understand and process creativity.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_01: So this is how I move through blocks.
- 1:01:54SPEAKER_01: You know, I've been a prolific writer for the last seven years since I started this blog.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_01: And because it's my livelihood, I can't afford to just have a creative block and not produce content.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_01: And it's been extremely challenging.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_01: And so I have used alchemy to keep moving, even through the slowness, even through the stuckness, even through the emotional ups and downs, the upheavals, the whole idea of alchemy is working with darkness and pain and transmuting it into flow, into courage, into inspiration.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_01: And because I love this process so much and it means a lot to me, I have developed a class and it's called Spiritualized the Art and Soul of Creative Alchemy.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_01: So I am offering that right now.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: And you can find that on my website.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_01: Sign up for my newsletter and you'll be kept in the loop of everything I'm doing.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_00: I'm definitely signing up for your newsletter.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_00: Um, okay, and then for our last question for you what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_01: Truthfully, it's owning my own time.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_01: And I know that sounds really bold.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: And I actually feel I still feel a little shaky when I say it because I'm like, oh, I'm not-I love it.
- 1:03:12SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I own my own time.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_01: And that means the world to me.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_01: It's it's worth all of the struggle and the hardship that owning your own business actually brings.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_01: Um, it's not an easy path.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_01: Like you said earlier, it's not.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_01: There's so much uncertainty, and it's absolutely terrifying, but it's also more important to me than anything because owning my time has been my life's dream.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_01: It's my dream fulfilled.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: It's what I always wanted.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_01: From the time I was in school as a small child, I felt like this is too much.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: Five days a week, eight hours a day.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_01: I can't do that.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_01: Like I really was always trying to negotiate.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_01: Like I would skip school as much as possible.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_01: I would get sick, I'd pretend to be sick, I would actually be sick because I just couldn't handle the five days a week thing.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_01: And I was in constant state of dread in terms of having somebody else dictate to me my whole schedule every day, all the time.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_01: And then when I found out what Virgo means, Virgin, the Virgo, that's me.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: I'm a son in Virgo, I found out that rather than being a sexually inexperienced or sexually naive young girl, a virgin in the ancient world was as a actually a priestess of the earth and had nothing to do with her sex life.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_01: It had everything to do with the fact that she devoted her entire life to the path of being a priestess and being the vessel for the earth's wisdom.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_01: So the natural order of creation was what she transmitted, emitted, translated.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_01: And she didn't have to get married as a result.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_01: She didn't have to get married.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_01: She owned her own time, which was a very powerful position for a woman in the ancient world.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_01: Now I am married because it has nothing to do with that anymore for me.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_01: But what I found threatening was not the institution of marriage.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_01: It was the idea of working for a corporation or even the state.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: And I've tried both and didn't work for me.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_01: So what's non-negotiable in my life is that I own my own time and I do everything I can to inspire other people to do the same.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_00: So oh my God, I couldn't agree with you more.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_00: I remember like when I was, you know, I was a school counselor for many years, which was like, you know, I still had to follow that schedule, but I also like could kind of do whatever I wanted because I was like my own entity.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_00: But I was a teacher for a little bit, and I remember like being like, oh my God, I wish I could just do this four days a week or three days a week.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, it's so stifling and it's so energy draining.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_00: And like it's by design, right?
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_00: Like that's why they set it up that way.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_00: But I totally agree with you.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: I could not agree more.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_00: And thank you so much for sharing all of that and sharing all of this and just the beautiful way you articulate things is just like so amazing to listen to.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much for being here.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_01: My pleasure, Elise.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
