- 0:00Speaker 1: Don't stop believing. You're listening to The Sean O'Connell Show
- 0:06Speaker 1: from the Murdoch Hyundai Studio of ESPN 700 and 92.1 FM.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Don't stop believing. Welcome back to The Sean O'Connell Show.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Getting you ready for a big weekend of football here
- 0:24Speaker 1: in the state. We're at Smith's today, 3808 West Hardman
- 0:26Speaker 1: Way down here in Lehigh. We have $ 10 gift cards
- 0:29Speaker 1: to give away. We've got some taffy town taffy. If
- 0:32Speaker 1: you want to grab a little color appropriate pack, it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: all red and white. As we get ready to welcome
- 0:38Speaker 1: the Arkansas Razorbacks into Rice Eccles Stadium, Quinn Grovey is
- 0:42Speaker 1: the color analyst on the Arkansas broadcast, and he's kind
- 0:45Speaker 1: enough to join us. Give us some perspective on the Hogs.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Quinn Grovey, welcome to the show. How are you, sir?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Well, I'm doing good. We're sitting here on the plane
- 0:53Speaker 2: getting ready to head to Salt Lake, and so I'm
- 0:55Speaker 2: excited about the trip. It's going to be a fun
- 0:57Speaker 2: trip for not only our football team but our fans
- 1:00Speaker 2: as well.
- 1:02Speaker 1: How many times have you yourself been to Salt Lake City, Quinn?
- 1:05Speaker 2: That would be zero. I mean, zero times to Salt Lake,
- 1:09Speaker 2: but I was able to go to Pro Bowl. We
- 1:11Speaker 2: played against BYU a couple years ago, and that fan
- 1:15Speaker 2: base was really, really nice. They welcomed us. They gave
- 1:19Speaker 2: us ice cream. They did a lot of different things.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It was really cool.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I don't expect that, though, when we get there tonight.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I hope you are treated politely with some congeniality to
- 1:32Speaker 1: a certain extent at Rice Echo Stadium. We don't have
- 1:35Speaker 1: quite the same reputation for that that they do down
- 1:37Speaker 1: in Provo for obvious reasons. But it should be a
- 1:42Speaker 1: fun trip. It should be a great atmosphere at the game.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I've been trying to figure out, right, because when– You
- 1:48Speaker 1: look at what Utah did against Idaho. Arkansas and Idaho
- 1:52Speaker 1: are not, I don't think, good equivalents of one another.
- 1:55Speaker 1: What Arkansas did against North Alabama, I don't think Utah
- 1:58Speaker 1: is anything like North Alabama, so I'm kind of trying
- 2:01Speaker 1: to figure out what this matchup is going to look
- 2:03Speaker 1: like based on a one-game sample size from both teams.
- 2:07Speaker 1: What did you learn about Arkansas against North Alabama?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean, Arkansas did a nice job defensively. I mean,
- 2:14Speaker 2: that's the first place I want to start, simply because
- 2:16Speaker 2: we hadn't played a whole lot of defense over the
- 2:18Speaker 2: last couple of years. And for us to come out
- 2:21Speaker 2: on the very first possession and go three and out
- 2:24Speaker 2: and then force North Alabama to punt the football nine times,
- 2:26Speaker 2: that was really good for us. And we held them
- 2:29Speaker 2: to 153 yards and only gave them 40 yards rushing.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And that's with a dual-threat quarterback and a nice running back.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So you've got to give Ron Roberts and his defensive
- 2:37Speaker 2: staff a lot of credit. I attribute it to the
- 2:41Speaker 2: amount of players that Ron Roberts has brought in that
- 2:45Speaker 2: has experience playing college football. We've got a lot of
- 2:48Speaker 2: guys that have played at different places, but when you've
- 2:51Speaker 2: got a defensive coordinator like Ron Roberts who has the
- 2:53Speaker 2: ability to get them to line up in the right
- 2:55Speaker 2: place and really understand that things are going to be
- 2:58Speaker 2: successful if you do what he asks you to do,
- 3:01Speaker 2: then you've got a chance to take advantage of everything
- 3:03Speaker 2: that those guys can bring to the table. So I
- 3:06Speaker 2: expect our defense to travel and be really, really good. Offensively,
- 3:10Speaker 2: you know, a lot of people think, damn, it feels
- 3:13Speaker 2: like we struggled. And so when I look at that,
- 3:16Speaker 2: I say, look, let's look at the really, really good things.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Good things is we had a 415 yards total offense.
- 3:22Speaker 2: We had 29 first downs. I mean, 84 plays versus
- 3:26Speaker 2: 44 plays. We had a time of possession advantage, 41
- 3:29Speaker 2: to 18, which really gives us an opportunity. We converted
- 3:33Speaker 2: a ton of third downs in the second half. And
- 3:36Speaker 2: so I think that really helps you out from that standpoint.
- 3:39Speaker 2: We did not run the football very well, though. When
- 3:42Speaker 2: you talk about things we didn't do well, we had turnovers.
- 3:46Speaker 2: We didn't run the football well. We only averaged three
- 3:47Speaker 2: yards per carry on 49 attempts. That is not where
- 3:51Speaker 2: we really, really want to be. And so we've got
- 3:54Speaker 2: to figure some things out. Long story short, I just
- 3:57Speaker 2: don't know that anything has really been solidified yet. for
- 4:00Speaker 2: Arkansas in regards to how we're going to deal with
- 4:04Speaker 2: business and when we deal with a top 25 team
- 4:07Speaker 2: in Utah.
- 4:09Speaker 1: How much of the running game comes through K.J. Jackson?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Because he's got athleticism, but he is more of a
- 4:15Speaker 1: pocket passer, it seems. He's a big, athletic, strong guy.
- 4:19Speaker 1: A lot of his crazy highlights and stats from high
- 4:22Speaker 1: school came in the passing game. He did have 10
- 4:26Speaker 1: carries for 27 yards against north alabama but i mean
- 4:30Speaker 1: is that is that something they want to use him
- 4:32Speaker 1: for is this going to be working from the pocket primarily.
- 4:36Speaker 2: No i think uh in a game like this where
- 4:40Speaker 2: you really want to try to find a way to
- 4:42Speaker 2: win the football game everything is on the table and
- 4:45Speaker 2: so we've got to find a way to get our
- 4:47Speaker 2: run game moving in the right direction there's no doubt
- 4:49Speaker 2: about it sudden smith braylon russell those two running backs
- 4:52Speaker 2: have to be able to have success so our offensive
- 4:54Speaker 2: line has got to find a way to to come
- 4:56Speaker 2: up with plays against Scali's defense. But I just think
- 5:00Speaker 2: that when things get tight, when things get tight, when
- 5:03Speaker 2: you have a quarterback that can run the football, that
- 5:06Speaker 2: always gives you a number advantage from a math perspective.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I feel like football is all about math. And if
- 5:12Speaker 2: I can find a way to get a half a
- 5:13Speaker 2: man advantage on you somewhere, somewhat, somehow, then that's going
- 5:16Speaker 2: to give me an advantage. And I think that you're
- 5:18Speaker 2: going to see KJ probably run the football a little
- 5:20Speaker 2: bit more than what he has– in the past, and
- 5:25Speaker 2: I think that's going to help us out. But he
- 5:26Speaker 2: has ability. I mean, the guy is 6'3, over 200 pounds,
- 5:31Speaker 2: very physical, has a lot of speed. So not only
- 5:34Speaker 2: can he throw it, but he can run it. And
- 5:36Speaker 2: so I expect him to be really, really good in
- 5:38Speaker 2: the run game with some design quarterback runs. But also
- 5:42Speaker 2: I just expect him to take care of the football.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Chris Marshall had a big game, seven catches, 79 yards, 11.3
- 5:50Speaker 1: per catch. That's not bad for anybody. He's a big-body
- 5:53Speaker 1: wide receiver. Is he kind of the primary target in
- 5:56Speaker 1: the passing game, or will they kind of rotate that through?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well, the thing about it is when you look at that,
- 6:02Speaker 2: there were 12 guys who caught balls on Saturday. So
- 6:05Speaker 2: that's a good thing for us. So that allows us
- 6:07Speaker 2: to be very good and move the football around. But
- 6:10Speaker 2: Chris Marshall caught seven balls on 10 targets for 79 yards.
- 6:14Speaker 2: So that was about 30% of Arkansas's passing yardage. He
- 6:18Speaker 2: is a big-body guy, and the one thing I love
- 6:20Speaker 2: about him is that When things get tough and people
- 6:24Speaker 2: back off, you can just go out there and say,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know what, we're going to throw a five-yard hit
- 6:28Speaker 2: and allow him to catch that football. But he's a
- 6:30Speaker 2: big-bodied guy that's going to have to come up with
- 6:33Speaker 2: plays in that intermediate and chunk play area. And so
- 6:37Speaker 2: that's the biggest thing for Arkansas is offensive passing game.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We did not have anything. We didn't have a passing
- 6:42Speaker 2: play over 21 yards last week. And so if you're
- 6:45Speaker 2: going to go against a team against Utah, you've got
- 6:47Speaker 2: to make them understand that there's an opportunity for you
- 6:50Speaker 2: to try to go over the top. And so I
- 6:52Speaker 2: think finding chunk plays is going to be critical in
- 6:55Speaker 2: regards to maybe unleashing what Arkansas wants to do offensively.
- 6:59Speaker 2: If you can't do that, then Utah is going to
- 7:00Speaker 2: definitely be in driver's seat.
- 7:05Speaker 1: How close to full health is Quincy Rhodes Jr.? He
- 7:08Speaker 1: is the headliner. He is the number one talent. He's
- 7:10Speaker 1: the guy appearing in NFL mock drafts. He didn't play
- 7:13Speaker 1: a ton against North Alabama, and his production was limited.
- 7:18Speaker 1: How close to full health is he?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Well, I don't know the answer to that question, but
- 7:23Speaker 2: I do know that Quincy Rose, when he's fully healthy,
- 7:26Speaker 2: is a monster. I mean, he was second team all
- 7:29Speaker 2: SEC last year. He is big. He is long. He
- 7:33Speaker 2: is fast. He is strong. And when he's operating at
- 7:37Speaker 2: full tilt, he's one of the best pass rushers in
- 7:40Speaker 2: the SEC. And so you've got to be able to
- 7:42Speaker 2: find a way to make that happen. The one thing
- 7:44Speaker 2: I love about Quincy not being or not adding as
- 7:48Speaker 2: much value as we thought he would in the first
- 7:51Speaker 2: game is the fact that this defense was still very good.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And I love the fact that the defensive front did
- 7:56Speaker 2: a lot of great things. We need to find a
- 7:59Speaker 2: way to create more pressure. But this defense is very
- 8:01Speaker 2: good against the run. And I love the fact that
- 8:04Speaker 2: the linebackers were able to really insert themselves into the game.
- 8:08Speaker 2: We had five, six linebackers that played that were able
- 8:12Speaker 2: to run to the football and show a lot of grit.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And so Quincy Rhodes is our guy. Most defenses or
- 8:18Speaker 2: offenses are going to slide coverage to Quincy Rhodes. But
- 8:22Speaker 2: at the end of the day, Ron Roberts is going
- 8:24Speaker 2: to dial up something that's going to allow a bunch
- 8:25Speaker 2: of other guys to give them the opportunity. So we
- 8:28Speaker 2: want Quincy Rose doing his thing. But if he's not,
- 8:31Speaker 2: I feel like Ron Roberts' defense will still have an
- 8:33Speaker 2: opportunity to be very successful.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Quinn Grovey is our guest here on the Sean O'Connell Show.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You can hear him on the Arkansas broadcast as they
- 8:41Speaker 1: take on Utah tomorrow night at Rice Echo Stadium for
- 8:45Speaker 1: a night game. Former quarterback for this Arkansas Razorbacks football team,
- 8:51Speaker 1: led them to championships in 1988 and 1989. So you've
- 8:55Speaker 1: been part of the glory days of Arkansas. I mean,
- 8:58Speaker 1: how far away is this team from restoring some of
- 9:01Speaker 1: that glory? Because we know what it looks like now
- 9:03Speaker 1: in college football, Quinn. It's resources. It's NIL. It's finding
- 9:09Speaker 1: somebody to bankroll a roster. And, you know, that's a
- 9:12Speaker 1: problem for Utah. That's a problem for everybody. What does
- 9:17Speaker 1: that picture look like for Arkansas?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Well, the one thing that I'm fortunate enough to be
- 9:21Speaker 2: able to do is I work for the Razorback Foundation,
- 9:24Speaker 2: which is the primary fundraising arm for Arkansas Athletics. And
- 9:27Speaker 2: so I spend time with a lot of our donors
- 9:30Speaker 2: and them really wanting to help this program be successful.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So I just believe that this program has everything in place.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I mean, we've got great facilities. Our fan base, while
- 9:41Speaker 2: we have a small state, those fans are really, really
- 9:44Speaker 2: excited about being a part of the program. And so
- 9:48Speaker 2: you're right. I mean, you always have to find a
- 9:49Speaker 2: way to to fund things. Fortunately for us, we've got
- 9:54Speaker 2: some Fortune 1 companies right here in our backyard that
- 9:58Speaker 2: really allows them to help us in a big way.
- 10:01Speaker 2: So the funding aspect of it is really huge. But
- 10:04Speaker 2: you've got to find a coach, basically, when you talk
- 10:06Speaker 2: about a program like this, you've got to find a
- 10:08Speaker 2: coach that really believes in that they can win games.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Arkansas has been struggling, struggled over the last couple of years.
- 10:14Speaker 2: And we've basically been trying to search for that particular
- 10:17Speaker 2: coach that's going to allow us to have the ability
- 10:19Speaker 2: to win football games ever since Bobby Petrino left the
- 10:22Speaker 2: first time. And so we feel like we got a
- 10:25Speaker 2: coach in Ryan Silverfield that really understands it. He gets it.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And he came straight in and decided, you know what,
- 10:31Speaker 2: I need to be a part of this program. I
- 10:32Speaker 2: need to be a part of this state. I'm going
- 10:34Speaker 2: to help this program understand what we need to do.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And he's reached out to our donors. His players, they
- 10:40Speaker 2: love him. He gets it. And so I'm glad we
- 10:43Speaker 2: got a guy like that who can understand that. And
- 10:46Speaker 2: so I think the big thing is having a coach
- 10:48Speaker 2: that really understands the landscape of college athletics and is
- 10:52Speaker 2: able to communicate to those donors at a high level.
- 10:55Speaker 2: That gives you an opportunity to get those dollars that
- 10:57Speaker 2: you're talking about, and then you have the ability to
- 10:59Speaker 2: go out and show what your worth is in the
- 11:02Speaker 2: portal and go in and get guys. I still think
- 11:05Speaker 2: that even though he got here not too long ago,
- 11:08Speaker 2: he was able to do some things defensively that allows
- 11:11Speaker 2: this team to to try to have some success. So
- 11:13Speaker 2: I'm excited about seeing how that happens against the top
- 11:16Speaker 2: 25 team, but I just feel like the University of
- 11:18Speaker 2: Arkansas is in a good spot. Even though, you know,
- 11:21Speaker 2: we were ranked like 16th in the SEC, but I
- 11:24Speaker 2: feel like we've got a lot of things in place
- 11:27Speaker 2: that if you've got the right guy, it can get
- 11:28Speaker 2: you in the right spot.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if you're aware of this. I'm
- 11:32Speaker 1: sure it got some national run, but the Big 12
- 11:35Speaker 1: Conference no longer even does preseason polls because just two
- 11:39Speaker 1: years ago, Arizona State was picked dead last in the conference,
- 11:43Speaker 1: and then they won the conference. So they got rid
- 11:45Speaker 1: of that practice. So we know a thing or two
- 11:48Speaker 1: out here about how inaccurate those preseason polls can be.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So hopefully Arkansas can outperform those expectations. Not in Salt
- 11:55Speaker 1: Lake City, but hopefully beyond this.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Right, right, right.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Well, and, you know, that brings me to the next question.
- 12:01Speaker 1: The schedule is an absolute nightmare. I mean, you've got
- 12:05Speaker 1: this game in Salt Lake City. And then you've got
- 12:07Speaker 1: to turn around, and you've got to play Georgia. I
- 12:11Speaker 1: know that you try to do it a week at
- 12:13Speaker 1: a time, and you try to get these kids into
- 12:15Speaker 1: a routine where they're not looking ahead. I don't know
- 12:18Speaker 1: how you can realistically expect that that's not at least
- 12:21Speaker 1: in the back of somebody's mind, in the back of
- 12:23Speaker 1: a coaching staff's mind. How can they, I guess, maximize
- 12:27Speaker 1: the potential of not only this game in Salt Lake,
- 12:29Speaker 1: but then a quick turnaround because it's a late-night game.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You're not going to get back to Fayetteville until whatever,
- 12:34Speaker 1: 5 or 6 in the morning, and then you've got to.
- 12:37Speaker 1: rest up and get back to practice to prepare for
- 12:39Speaker 1: one of the best teams in the country?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Well, I think we understand that Georgia is one of
- 12:44Speaker 2: the best teams in the country, and we've been in
- 12:46Speaker 2: the SEC for a long time, and they've taken us
- 12:49Speaker 2: behind the woodshed time and time again. So we understand
- 12:51Speaker 2: what Kirby Smart is going to bring to the table.
- 12:54Speaker 2: You know, our focus right now is really trying to
- 12:57Speaker 2: figure out how to go 2-0. If you can win
- 12:59Speaker 2: that Utah game, then there's a lot of narratives that's
- 13:02Speaker 2: going to change up into that Georgia game. Now, that
- 13:04Speaker 2: doesn't mean that the Georgia game is going to turn
- 13:06Speaker 2: out a little bit differently than what most people think.
- 13:08Speaker 2: But I think everybody understands that you have a great
- 13:13Speaker 2: opportunity versus Utah. And I think really and truly that's
- 13:16Speaker 2: where the focus is. You go 2-0, that gives your
- 13:19Speaker 2: program a shot in the arm versus a great program
- 13:23Speaker 2: that who has aspirations of being in the college football playoff.
- 13:26Speaker 2: And so when you've got that type of thing going on,
- 13:29Speaker 2: then you've got to be able to take advantage of it.
- 13:31Speaker 2: This is a great opportunity. Forget Georgia and what they've
- 13:35Speaker 2: got going on. I think they have done that because
- 13:37Speaker 2: they know how difficult that game is going to be.
- 13:39Speaker 2: This is a great opportunity. You're going to be playing
- 13:41Speaker 2: in a great environment in front of great fans. and
- 13:44Speaker 2: a different footprint across the country, this is what it's
- 13:47Speaker 2: all about. If you can't get up for this game,
- 13:50Speaker 2: I don't care if it's 9-15. We don't care. I mean,
- 13:52Speaker 2: but it's one of those things where you've got to– well,
- 13:55Speaker 2: I care because I'm usually in REM sleep at 9-30. But,
- 14:00Speaker 2: you know, this is one of those things where we've
- 14:03Speaker 2: got to find a way to compete at a high
- 14:06Speaker 2: level against a very, very good football team. And we're
- 14:10Speaker 2: excited about it.
- 14:13Speaker 1: How did Coach alter preparations or practice this week to
- 14:17Speaker 1: prepare for the late body clock kickoff?
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, this week I don't think he did
- 14:24Speaker 2: anything different. I think it was just really the same
- 14:27Speaker 2: type of routine. But what he did the previous week
- 14:30Speaker 2: before our very first game is we had a scrimmage
- 14:33Speaker 2: at 315, which was the same time as our first game.
- 14:37Speaker 2: And then the following week on that Saturday we had
- 14:40Speaker 2: a scrimmage at 915. And so what they did is
- 14:45Speaker 2: they went through the entire routine of what it's going
- 14:48Speaker 2: to look like, you know, staying at a hotel, getting
- 14:50Speaker 2: on the bus, doing all that to really get an
- 14:53Speaker 2: understanding of what it's going to take place. We're never
- 14:56Speaker 2: going to play a game at 9-15 in the SEC,
- 14:58Speaker 2: but we understand when we go out west. I mean,
- 15:01Speaker 2: there's going to be some things that you may have
- 15:02Speaker 2: to do. And so I just think that they did
- 15:04Speaker 2: a good job of simulating that. So what that does
- 15:07Speaker 2: is now you go like, you know what? I really
- 15:09Speaker 2: don't like that. I think we need to switch that.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I think we need to change that. You don't need
- 15:13Speaker 2: to do that when you're on the plane like we
- 15:15Speaker 2: are right now and heading to Salt Lake without the
- 15:17Speaker 2: strategy that you feel like is going to give you
- 15:18Speaker 2: an opportunity to win football games. And so they did
- 15:22Speaker 2: a nice job of simulating that, played a scrimmage at 9-15,
- 15:25Speaker 2: went through the entire process. And so... Silverfield is a
- 15:28Speaker 2: guy that's going to turn over every rock, and that's
- 15:31Speaker 2: what he did.
- 15:32Speaker 1: All right, this next question is just about perspective and
- 15:37Speaker 1: because I'm always food-focused, right? I feel like when Utah
- 15:41Speaker 1: makes a return trip to Arkansas, the fans that make
- 15:44Speaker 1: the trip from Salt Lake City to Fayetteville are going
- 15:47Speaker 1: to be like, all right, I know I'm going to
- 15:49Speaker 1: go get some Southern barbecue. I know I'm going to
- 15:52Speaker 1: find somebody to give me recommendations there. When you're coming
- 15:55Speaker 1: to Salt Lake City, Utah– You're talking to people in
- 15:59Speaker 1: the industry or whatever. I know you've done interviews this
- 16:01Speaker 1: week with local outlets here in Salt Lake. Are you
- 16:05Speaker 1: looking for, hey, we're going to get some authentic Mexican
- 16:07Speaker 1: food out here in Utah. Hey, I can't wait to
- 16:09Speaker 1: go try all the white bread with no seasoning on
- 16:12Speaker 1: it or whatever. What is the Arkansas perspective on a
- 16:17Speaker 1: trip to Salt Lake City?
- 16:19Speaker 2: Well, let me just start with my perspective. I'm a foodie.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I love food. I ask everybody that I talk to,
- 16:26Speaker 2: every time I've done the interview in Salt Lake, I've
- 16:29Speaker 2: asked them, where do I need to go? And so
- 16:31Speaker 2: we've got a lot of donors and fans that are
- 16:34Speaker 2: coming out. So I've got two dinners that I've got
- 16:36Speaker 2: to eat tonight. And so I've got to make sure
- 16:39Speaker 2: that I'm in a good spot to be able to
- 16:42Speaker 2: eat those. The first one, we're going to be at
- 16:44Speaker 2: the Capitol Grill. We're going to eat at the Capitol Grill.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And so I don't know how good that is or whatever.
- 16:49Speaker 2: And then we've got something called the Rebar or some bar,
- 16:55Speaker 2: a rooftop bar that we're going to be doing some
- 16:57Speaker 2: things at. And so I'm excited about that. So I'm
- 17:00Speaker 2: all about everything I can possibly do to find a
- 17:03Speaker 2: way to get me a good meal. And so I'm
- 17:06Speaker 2: all about counting calories. I'm going to try to stay
- 17:08Speaker 2: in the calorie deficit as much as possible. But if
- 17:11Speaker 2: I can't, you know what, I'm just going to flush
- 17:13Speaker 2: it and deal with it and get back on the
- 17:15Speaker 2: plane and come on back on Sunday and try to regroup.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Well, I hope you have a good culinary experience here
- 17:22Speaker 1: in Salt Lake City. Do you have recommendations? Well, look,
- 17:28Speaker 1: my favorite spot is a little biker bar. It's close
- 17:31Speaker 1: to downtown. They've got the best burgers in the world.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It's called Lucky 13. It's amazing. They smoke their own bacon.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Oh, that's right up my alley right there, man.
- 17:44Speaker 1: The peanut butter burger, they have another butter burger. They
- 17:46Speaker 1: put peanut butter on the burger with bacon. Really? It
- 17:49Speaker 1: sounds crazy, but trust me, it is a delightful experience.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Oh, man, well, then I may have to. I mean,
- 17:57Speaker 2: I got time tomorrow, and so we're staying downtown, so
- 18:00Speaker 2: I've got an opportunity maybe to go get that burger.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Is there a place where I can go to get
- 18:06Speaker 2: me some really good live music tonight? I got a
- 18:08Speaker 2: bunch of people I need to take and get them
- 18:10Speaker 2: some live music tonight. Is there a spot that you recommend,
- 18:14Speaker 2: or you're not in live music soon?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Well, I'm not in any kind of scene anymore because
- 18:19Speaker 1: I got young kids, but there's a place downtown called Soundwell.
- 18:25Speaker 1: that one of my former teammates from the University of
- 18:27Speaker 1: Utah owns that spot. It's called Soundwell, and they usually
- 18:31Speaker 1: have great live music down there. So that's going to
- 18:33Speaker 1: be my recommendation for you.
- 18:36Speaker 2: All right. Well, I'm going to take a crew out somewhere,
- 18:39Speaker 2: and I'll probably check that one out to see what
- 18:42Speaker 2: kind of music they got going on.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Appreciate you giving us some time today. Have a safe flight,
- 18:49Speaker 1: and obviously we'll try to see you while you're here
- 18:51Speaker 1: in Salt Lake City.
- 18:53Speaker 2: All right, y'all enjoy, man. Appreciate y'all, and we look
- 18:55Speaker 2: forward to being here.
- 18:57Speaker 1: That's Quinn Grovey, former Arkansas quarterback, who is now the
- 19:01Speaker 1: color analyst on their broadcast. Great stuff from him, a
- 19:04Speaker 1: little perspective on this Razorbacks team that, look, you got
- 19:08Speaker 1: to beat them. On paper, Utah is the favorite.
