Episode 815 - HRÚTEY ISLAND
Today, RÚV English Radio visits another Icelandic island - although this one sits within the town of Blönduós. Hrútey island sits in the river Blanda, in the north Iceland town of Blönduós. A nature reserve, it is covered with grass, with bushes and trees growing, while many species of non-marine birds also call this place home. RÚV English Radio is heard around the world and in Iceland, celebrating Icelandic culture, art, music…
