- 1:04day when you're watching Judge Ross. Well, that went well. I love
- 1:11Judge Ross. You know that about Boss Ross? Baby? And yes,
- 1:15and you got Judge Perez. Don't sell my love for Judge Ross short because
- 1:19you're trying to make yourself stand out that you love Judge Ross. I mean,
- 1:23I think you're making it sound a bit like a bigger deal than it
- 1:26is. You were, like, I love Judge Ross. You know that
- 1:29you got Judge Peress. We both love Judge Ross. Either of us love
- 1:33Judge Perez. No, No, but it's Judge Perez also in the hot
- 1:37bench. No, she is? Is that the same? Lad? I
- 1:40think so. I think it is. She's just so like she's much better
- 1:44on the hot bench than she is on Judge Perez. So you got a
- 1:46boring one. No, I like the case. The case is fun.
- 1:49She just doesn't have much. Do you want to go rock paper scissors to
- 1:52you? Guys? First, I'm you you have a doozy, So I'm
- 1:55gonna let you back clean up. I'm gonna go ahead, And I love
- 1:57it. I love it. We can we still play rock paper scisions?
- 1:59We sure can't rock paper scissors? Shoot, yeah, I won Did you
- 2:02cuss there? I know, I said, huh, you said rock paper
- 2:06scissors, and it sounded like you kind of said she it. I wouldn't
- 2:08do that, you wouldn't know. We'll take you at the tabe. Go
- 2:14ahead, Amanda Gray is suing oh sister parents Barnes. Okay, these two
- 2:22people don't know each other. However, the last name of my defendant is
- 2:25Barnes. Crazy related maybe whose you never know. They don't know each other,
- 2:30but they had an incident that will Uh, they don't know each other
- 2:34before the event, they didn't know each other, that's right. Wow.
- 2:38Amanda Gray starts all strong by saying this humdinger of a sentence, I want
- 2:42to be suing him for seven hundred and fifty dollars. She is American,
- 2:46she knows the English language well, and she went with I want to be
- 2:49suing him for seven hundred and fifty dollars because he hit me in the face
- 2:53with a football. I was at the beach and he hit me in the
- 2:58face with the football. I still don't understand. Like, now, if
- 3:00you don't know, how do you track them down to get to this case?
- 3:04Yeah, well I don't know. I don't know the answer to that.
- 3:07But she did it, and she does want to speak to the manager.
- 3:09So she said they had to rebreak my nose in order to fix it.
- 3:14The insurance paid for most of it, but they're seven hundred and fifty
- 3:17dollars of unpaid medical receipts. I have the receipts. They're here. Here
- 3:23you go, Judge Perez. That starts the case off. Paperwork out of
- 3:24the way. So she's at the beach, football to the face. Yeah,
- 3:29she says, Look, I go to the beach every single Sunday,
- 3:30same spot by the dock by thirteen. Yeah, she says, you know
- 3:36the one of course, the dock. That is a good spot. It's
- 3:38a great spot. But I'm proud of her proclaiming that. And she says,
- 3:40hey, I go there every Sunday, same time by the dock thirteen.
- 3:45He's never been there before. I've never seen this guy. He's never
- 3:47there. He's not there. It's my spot. Basically what she's said.
- 3:52She says, bring my grill over to the fire pit. Now at this
- 3:55point, I don't know what beach we're talking about. Do you know of
- 3:59a beach that just has random fire pits for everyone to grill? I don't
- 4:01know of that, but maybe it's just South Kolina Beach. I you know
- 4:04what, Coincidentally, I went to Panama City Beach this this second of the
- 4:11pits. They had pits that you could rent out. They bring them to
- 4:15you, but it was only in the evening, so you could do like
- 4:16bonfires on the beach. Well, she claims that the pit is for everybody
- 4:20to use, and she brings over her grill in this pit, the fire
- 4:24pit, and she wants to grill her veggie burgers. Now, you're losing
- 4:28a lot of people doing this, but I want to grill my veggie burgers.
- 4:30And then she says, he comes over and he and his friends want
- 4:33to play. He's very hostile to me. He comes over and says,
- 4:39how dare you set up your grill in my pits? Which isn't true.
- 4:42The fire pits for everybody. And she's never seen him before, never seen
- 4:46him before, and he's getting mad. He's using a lot of four letter
- 4:49words. And then finally he just offers to He offers to grill my burgers.
- 4:54Yeah, you know buck all kinds of them thinking a lot of U
- 4:59C K and stuff. This, yeah, then that here, the other
- 5:05here, uh brand yeah. So she says he's using mad, he's getting
- 5:10mad, he's using a lot of four letter words. And then he offers
- 5:12to grill my burgers for me, So I let him. Now that is
- 5:14exactly how she says it. He's hostile, he's mad, he's using four
- 5:17letter words, and then he just he offers to grill my burgers for me,
- 5:20and so I let him. So they have met before, No,
- 5:25this guy, So according to her, this is meeting, this is yeah,
- 5:29before this enter before yeah. I was thinking you're saying before to the
- 5:31court case. Now would she have anything? That's why I was confused.
- 5:35That's on you at the end of the day, before the guys let us
- 5:39know your Gavel Gable at gavel dot net couldn't get the calm. So according
- 5:44to her, she's got Gregie Gregie Burgers, Veggie burgers, and a grill.
- 5:47She's walking over. This guy's screaming at her and then just goes,
- 5:50hey, I'll grow your burgers for you. I love it. What get
- 5:54What a good guy? What a good guy? He's gonna poison them.
- 5:57So Perez is like, so, let me get this straight. His grill's
- 6:00already there. She says, yes, does he have anything else there?
- 6:03And she says yeah, it's she's got a table, he's got chairs,
- 6:08He's basically got the whole area set up, and she says, so he's
- 6:11occupying that space and she says. She says yes, and and and Perez
- 6:16says, so, why did you try to occupy his space? And she
- 6:20said, well, I've got to. I mean, it's a mini grill,
- 6:23like I just needed to grill my burgers. I use it every week.
- 6:26I just figured I'd pop over and grill the burgers real quick croap pop
- 6:29over for veggie burgers that could be eaten frozen for you know, all intents
- 6:32and purposes. And she said, also, his friends were being really nice
- 6:36to me, like we were talking and they were being really nice to me.
- 6:39How on are these people They're they're just out of college. A it's
- 6:42like they got the hots young twenties. I would not say for each other.
- 6:48I don't know. Okay, no, no, no, but it
- 6:50would be it would make sense that his bros could be flirting with her.
- 6:54Okay, that would make sense. So Perez is like, so were you
- 6:59kind of like in the middle of their party. Amanda says, yes,
- 7:02yes, I was. So let's move over to Terrence. Terrence got a
- 7:06suit and tie on. He thinks he takes hisself seriously, but he just
- 7:10really doesn't. He says, my friends from college that came down that we're
- 7:13from Wisconsin. They came down to visit us. My girlfriend and I were
- 7:16excited that they were therein and see. In a while, we decided to
- 7:19throw a party, set up the table, set up the lawn chairs,
- 7:21playing football. I noticed we were grilling, and then I see this girl
- 7:27just walk through the middle of our party, and you could tell she had
- 7:30a sense of entitlement, Like she sets up her grill ten feet from where
- 7:32we're playing football, and we're trying not to hit her. But you know,
- 7:35things happen when you play how you play, that's exactly right. She
- 7:41goes over to my friends and I see her say, you guys are in
- 7:45my spot. I see her say that, which there are no reserve spots,
- 7:48Like there aren't. Amanda pipes up and says, no, no,
- 7:51no. I was joking like, ha ha, you're in my spot,
- 7:55Like I come here every week, it's my spot. I was being very
- 7:58friendly. They were being friendly to me. I was being friendly with them.
- 8:01It's the Sunday at the beach. You meet new people like it's fine,
- 8:03Like you know, it is what it is. We don't get back
- 8:07to terrence at this point because Perez then says okay, so you're there.
- 8:13You said that what happened? And she said, he grilled me my burgers.
- 8:16I went to sit down to eat my veggie burgers and I'd forgotten my
- 8:20condiments. I just didn't bring any forgot him. And I looked over,
- 8:24and she comes to the beach every week to grill her birth forgot condomist.
- 8:28I looked over and they had a basket of just packets ketchup, and I
- 8:33mean, I wouldn't take him without ass course, and he wasn't anywhere to
- 8:35be found. So I just asked the friends, Hey, can I have
- 8:37a couple of catchup packets? And they said, yeah, no problem,
- 8:39go for it. So I walked over there. I grabbed four packets and
- 8:45I brought them back to my seat. I sit down, and he is
- 8:48storming over to me, yelling at me, screaming, leave my things alone,
- 8:52blah blah blah. Parentially seems up and down. Yeah, you never
- 8:54know you again with him. One minute he's yelling, one minute he's grilling.
- 8:58So Perez says, is that true, and says, your honor,
- 9:01I'm hosting the party. I'm everywhere. I brought everything. If anyone can
- 9:05tell her that she can have something. It's me, not my friends.
- 9:07I didn't yell at her. My friends are really nice, but I have
- 9:11the right for my stuff to be protected. I told her sternly, please
- 9:15stay away from my things. Amanda said, he asked me to stay away
- 9:18from his things, but he was grilling my burgers, and Terrence said,
- 9:22your honor. She basically demanded that I grill her burgers since there was no
- 9:28room for her grill because we were playing football. She demanded that I do
- 9:31it. I said I would do it. That's why I was grilling her
- 9:35burgers. It's still my stuff, it's still my party, it's still my
- 9:37things. Amanda said, look, I used two catch up packets. That's
- 9:41it, and then I walked out four she grabbed, so I walked back
- 9:46to return the other two packets. And as I walked, just like surprised
- 9:50at the amount that was in package. I don't know. I don't know
- 9:52if it was that or the yelling. I feel like, if you grab
- 9:54four, you use for use fo you Yes, exactly right, she had
- 10:00too. She was going back and she said, I go over and I
- 10:03look up and a football smashes me in the face. My noses swell,
- 10:07my eyes water, and she goes and he threw the football right at me.
- 10:13Perez's like, hey, we're other people around the grill area. Terrence's
- 10:16like, yeah, my girlfriend, some of her friends. They were all
- 10:18sitting down over there beside her Clarence and Perez is like, so, tell
- 10:24me how this was intentional. Amanda said, he'd been yelling at me all
- 10:26day, he had a problem with me. He threw the football at me
- 10:28on purpose. And Perez says, you need to prove this, You need
- 10:31to prove that there was a problem with him. What did he do to
- 10:35prove it? And she said, you're on it. There's tons of people
- 10:39over there, There's families and kids everywhere. He could have gotten somebody hurt.
- 10:43He's clearly throwing the ball at me. He doesn't want to hurt anybody
- 10:46else. He wants to throw me. Perez says, Terrence, who are
- 10:50you throwing the ball to? And then this is my favorite line. He
- 10:52says, my friend Dustin he was playing wide receiver that day and I was
- 10:56playing quarterback. Ye, so apparently that day they assigned roles. He was
- 11:00playing quarter wide receiver, I'm quarterback. And then he goes on to say,
- 11:03man, I threw him a bullet, like I threw him a really
- 11:05it was really hard. I threw him a bullet. It slipped right through
- 11:07his hands. Would have been a touchdown, That's what he says, would
- 11:09have been a touchdown, slips through his hands, past him, and it
- 11:13rails her right in the face. Okay, Perez is ready to rule?
- 11:18What ready? She's ready to rule. She's hard enough, you know what.
- 11:22Here's the thing is, I I don't necessarily think that she is one
- 11:28hundred percent making this up. I can see a world where you're with your
- 11:33college buddies, you're drinking, You're annoyed at this woman for coming and being
- 11:37in your area. You see her coming back, you throw the football in
- 11:41her area, football in her area to tell her to get lost again.
- 11:45Essentially, I can see that world happening. Unfortunately, there's no proof to
- 11:48prove that, and so no money for her. Yeah, this woman sounds
- 11:52like Amanda, sounds like she's a lot. Yeah, sure, and want
- 11:56somebody to pay money that they don't need to pay. And Perez doesn't give
- 12:00her a dime. But it also seems very much like he's had enough of
- 12:03this d of this girl. Yeah, and he's gonna throw a pass to
- 12:07his bro and it just you know, it sails long and it hits her
- 12:11like one hundred percent agree with everything. She doesn't get a dime. That's
- 12:13the end of it. All in all done, very interesting and kind of
- 12:20a similar type of case over here. But we go from the beach,
- 12:24we go inside to the karaoke bar. I mean, where else would you
- 12:28go after a date at the beach? Absolutely, I want to introduce you
- 12:31to Renee Turner. Renee is suing Chantel Barnes for three hundred and eighty six
- 12:37dollars for a broken jaw, not three eighty six for a broken shaw.
- 12:43Renee also seems like a lot. Renee has been going to the karaoke bar
- 12:50for six years. Oh boy, every week she goes. We don't know,
- 12:56she's been with Fitzies. You can go in there for six years.
- 13:01She loves it. Uh. And she says Sean tal is relatively new to
- 13:07the bar, kind of just recently been showing up. And Sean Taul speaks
- 13:11up at this moment for reasons I don't know, and she's just like,
- 13:15I just want to say that Renee is very talented. She's very she's very
- 13:20good at what she does. Week after week, she goes up and she
- 13:24crushes it. Takes talent, that's exactly right, week after week, different
- 13:28material to go up and crush it. Yeah, it's not like you have
- 13:30a song. You see you saying, uh oh, here we go,
- 13:33hold on, Dan, here we're It is like she has a song by
- 13:37so Renee says, listen, I go week after week because I have a
- 13:41forty hour job that involves sitting in front of a computer screen all day and
- 13:46I just gotta, you know, have an outlet. You gotta have an
- 13:48outlet, and karaoke is my outlet. Plus it allows me an opportunity to
- 13:54engage with the crowd. They can see my craft. I can work on
- 13:58that craft, and I can engage with this boy to hear what songs she
- 14:00sings. So she also brings her own amp and her own yeah and her
- 14:09own mic, and this mic goes into this amp and has some different effects
- 14:15that help her sound a little bit better. What yeah, So Chantelle is
- 14:20like yes, She's very serious. When you see somebody getting out of the
- 14:24car and they're bringing in the amp, bringing in their own amp, and
- 14:28she's like Seantell's like yes, she's very good. She's also very serious,
- 14:31Like I go to the karaoke bar because I want to have fun an have
- 14:35a few drinks. I go up there, I'll say, she's all business
- 14:39like, she's very very serious about this. So one week, this is
- 14:46a this is gonna take plos over the course of one week. Chante Chantel
- 14:52goes up to Renee after one of her performances, or her first performance of
- 14:56the night, and she's like, hey, can I use your I want
- 15:00to hear kind of how that works with the setup and the effects, And
- 15:03Renee is just like, no, no, absolutely not. So the next
- 15:09week, Renee shows up, walks in, and she goes to sign up.
- 15:15Now she notices that Chantal has signed up for the seven pm slot.
- 15:22Now, the seven pm slot is Renee's slot. In Renee's head, not
- 15:28the bar doesn't hold it for no. But every week Renee sings at seven
- 15:33o'clock, and everybody knows at seven pm means Renee is going to sing some
- 15:39Billie Holiday, Billy Holliday. Yes, everybody knows this. Everybody knows this.
- 15:45What do you mean everybody knows this? Everybody knows this every seven pm
- 15:50every week. To her, so Chantal. Judge Ross looks at Shantalog.
- 15:56She says, he says, did you do this? Did you sign up?
- 15:58And and she says yes, And he says, what were you going
- 16:03to sing? What do you think she's gonna do? But Billy Holiday?
- 16:07Billy Holiday is exactly right. But she says, it's only because I didn't
- 16:11think she was going to show up, and I didn't want to be I
- 16:14didn't want people to be disappointed. But there was no seven pm billy show
- 16:18up to get my drink. And somebody's up there at seven pm exactly right.
- 16:22If someone he's singing Billie Holiday, I'm out of over. So she
- 16:25thought she was doing the Room of Favors. So seven pm comes around and
- 16:30Chantel goes up crushes Billie Holiday. Okay does so Renee took the next slotch
- 16:37She signed up right underneath Chantelle. So she goes on stage and she invites
- 16:42Chantel up for a duet. Oh no, and this is wild. What
- 16:48song is it? Billy Holiday? It was not Billy Holiday. We're going
- 16:52to get to the song in just a second. So she invites her up.
- 16:55If she's setting up her gear, you know, her am her mike,
- 16:59all that stuff. She invites Chantelle up and uh, they were going
- 17:04to sing a duet. They were gonna sing Endless Love by Lionel Ritchie.
- 17:07Okay, okay, that's what they were gonna say, classic and Chantelle very
- 17:14you know what's going on here. She's very clearly upset with me. I
- 17:18don't know why she wants me to come up there, but like, also
- 17:19this is a big like honor, like Renee is really good, like she
- 17:23doesn't do duets, like this is a big deal. So Chantelle walks on
- 17:27stage, and in walking on stage, Renee says that she uh tripped over
- 17:37her cord on purpose and unplugged her mic. Chantelle says it was an accident,
- 17:41but there was a her mic is I mean no, no, well,
- 17:47there is a witness. She Chantelle does bring in a witness and she
- 17:49just basically says, yes, what Chantel is saying is true. But Renee
- 17:53is holding her mic connected to a chord. Chantell walks on stage on trips
- 17:57over the chord on plugs the mic. Chantel then goes to grab a mic
- 18:03and she's getting ready to start singing the song, and Renee she she doesn't
- 18:10know that that Renee's mike is unplucked, so Renee goes to grab Chantell's mike
- 18:15from her hands, and Renee's like, Sean Tell's like, what are you
- 18:19doing? And She's like, my MIC's not working? And they start doing
- 18:22this tug of war back and forth with the mic, and finally Chantelle just
- 18:27lets go. Renee mike in hand, falls off the stage, face first,
- 18:34breaks her chin. Wow. Renee says, she did this on purpose.
- 18:41She pushed me. It was a shove. Chantelle says, no shove.
- 18:48So Renee says, ultimately, like, what I what I was trying
- 18:55to do was I was trying to take the mic from her to save her
- 18:57embarrassment because she was going to sing the Lionel part and she can't sing the
- 19:02Lionel part. And Judge Ross says, well, if she can't sing the
- 19:04Lionel part, why did you pick this song and bring her up on stage?
- 19:08And Renee smirks, and Judge Ross is like, you picked this song
- 19:14on purpose to get back at her for singing Billie Holiday at seven pm.
- 19:18You picked a song that you knew was out of her range. And all
- 19:23Renee says is she pushed me. All I'm gonna say is she pushed me?
- 19:29Oh my gosh. And so this is the classic, she says,
- 19:33she said, situation similar to the beach. What do you do? Well,
- 19:37Judge Ross, as he does likes to really, justice is not on
- 19:42a foreign const not for Judge Ross. No. So what he does is
- 19:45he brings in the thing that is one hundred percent accurate all the time,
- 19:49the lie detector test, and he makes Shantell take a lie detector test,
- 19:56asking her these two questions, and I'll give you the answers. First question
- 20:00is this, did you intentionally unplug her mike? She said no, The
- 20:08test came back as deception. Oh boy. Question number two, did you
- 20:18push her intentionally off the stage? She says no, test came back no
- 20:25deception, no deception. Wow. Judge Ross is now ready for the verdicts.
- 20:33She's not suing for a microphone being unplugged. She's suing for getting pushed
- 20:37off the stage. The lie detector says she didn't push her off the stage,
- 20:42which means she gets nothing. Boss Ross, come through for me zero
- 20:48dollars. That's exactly right, Dano, She says, you all are clearly
- 20:52rivals in the karaoke world. In the karaoke game. But to Renee,
- 20:57you did not bring enough proof to show that the push off to stage was
- 21:04intentional and the light detector test does not help you in that regard. Therefore,
- 21:11no money for you, Renee. Good luck next week at the karaoke
- 21:15bar seven pm, Billie Holiday. Everybody knows and that was Judge right.
- 21:22I mean, come on, what a case. It's a classic. It's
- 21:25a classic case. I love it. I loved that case. I was
- 21:29laughing. We did. Everybody congratulations. Hopefully you will come and see us
