- 1:11Speaker 1: You can hit us up with the text over to
- 1:13Speaker 1: two two nine eight seven. Vaughan doing his thing on
- 1:15Speaker 1: the cameras. We got bored, we got Menji on things
- 1:18Speaker 1: down the Woody Show production department coming up for you
- 1:21Speaker 1: to ever go to talk tech with our friend Rich
- 1:23Speaker 1: on tech.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:25Speaker 1: It's Amazon Prime days, so today and tomorrow, and it
- 1:29Speaker 1: feels like it's all the time. I know lately it
- 1:31Speaker 1: is always Amazon Prime. I'm trying to think of something
- 1:34Speaker 1: really cool that I just bought or anything interesting on
- 1:37Speaker 1: Amazon and good bye. I got in my cart like yeah,
- 1:41Speaker 1: zors no, No, I mean like any good find something
- 1:46Speaker 1: really cool? Oh I did buy something cool actually, yeah.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Dan by.
- 1:55Speaker 5: The correction to genius point of why it always seems
- 1:57Speaker 5: like it's Prime Days because it's not. It's bigeld Day
- 2:01Speaker 5: rebranded Prime Big Deal Day, right, so the Prime days
- 2:06Speaker 5: are different. Big deals are just like you know, half
- 2:09Speaker 5: Christmas or Birthday.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Yeah, Gina, what were you thinking?
- 2:13Speaker 1: I wasn't.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I was.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I was agreeing. Gene is right, She's like, it always
- 2:15Speaker 1: seems like every Yeah, they just rebranded exactly. See where
- 2:20Speaker 1: the hell that thing goes for your cell phone? Oh?
- 2:22Speaker 1: I saw because I saw a video for this thing
- 2:25Speaker 1: on on Instagram. It's a it's a vacuum magnetic suction
- 2:29Speaker 1: holder for your phone and you can put it on
- 2:31Speaker 1: any flat surface and you twist it like a like
- 2:34Speaker 1: a knob. It sucks to whatever it is, but it works.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I tried it once. I got them like there's no way,
- 2:40Speaker 1: there's no way. And I tried it out and it's
- 2:44Speaker 1: legit to any surface. Yeah, y yep, h stuck it
- 2:49Speaker 1: on there. Twist, twist, twist and uh and then it's
- 2:51Speaker 1: got this little magnetic part right there. Your phone. Just clip,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but it swivels, it moves, it turns, and you can
- 2:57Speaker 1: put it in pretty much any position so you lived
- 3:00Speaker 1: and watch videos or whatever. Here's the thing. If you're
- 3:02Speaker 1: on like a plane, for example, you can stick it
- 3:05Speaker 1: to the tray table click click click like that and
- 3:08Speaker 1: then just put the phone on it just like that. Uh,
- 3:11Speaker 1: it'll do onto the dash or onto your windshield or
- 3:14Speaker 1: you know, because I used to have a thing for
- 3:16Speaker 1: the car, uh you know, where we clip into the
- 3:19Speaker 1: to the air vents, and then they changed all the
- 3:22Speaker 1: air vents and all these cars and like for I
- 3:24Speaker 1: would say like eight out of ten cars, rental cars
- 3:26Speaker 1: or even my own car, Like it doesn't work anymore. Yeah,
- 3:29Speaker 1: our friends have made those. Yeah, we use them for
- 3:31Speaker 1: those are great. I just gave I found like another
- 3:34Speaker 1: because I had a spare one. I brought it in.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I gave it the dumb ass tile like you want
- 3:38Speaker 1: this thing ultimate? Yeah that this this thing, this thing
- 3:43Speaker 1: really works. It's the I can't pronounce the name of
- 3:45Speaker 1: the company. It's x U y s I like Channa yep,
- 3:49Speaker 1: vacuum magnetic suction phone holder. It's it's great, It's it's
- 3:54Speaker 1: really cool.
- 3:55Speaker 5: This looks like the thing they're pressing or pushing the
- 3:57Speaker 5: most for an Amazon choice big days is they're pushing
- 4:01Speaker 5: they have smart glasses. Now they have a couple different
- 4:04Speaker 5: echo frames.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Now.
- 4:05Speaker 5: The thing is they apparently they only do like audio
- 4:08Speaker 5: and stuff, which is boring. They're cheaper than your MetaType glasses,
- 4:12Speaker 5: but much less functional, is what.
- 4:14Speaker 8: They have actually had those for quite a while, because
- 4:16Speaker 8: you ever run into like those Amazon stores where they
- 4:19Speaker 8: have the products, yes in the store.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Not in a long time. I think they still haven't.
- 4:24Speaker 8: I don't know, but they had those glasses available in
- 4:26Speaker 8: there so you can play with them. But yeah, I
- 4:28Speaker 8: think the metaglasses are way better.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I know you like that.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Are you gonna get the new ones? The risk with
- 4:33Speaker 5: the risk of the dangle where you move your hand
- 4:35Speaker 5: around it like you can.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You don't have to use that, but it will show
- 4:38Speaker 1: up like things will show display will show up on
- 4:40Speaker 1: the inside of the lens. I definitely to report. Okay,
- 4:44Speaker 1: so then you use your hand to move you have
- 4:46Speaker 1: to wear a separate smart device. Risk toggle those things.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You don't have to use that, things will get You're
- 4:53Speaker 1: not gonna buy it? Yeah, you get to I'm not
- 4:55Speaker 1: gonna buy it without seeing it first, so I want
- 4:57Speaker 1: to run into it somewhere. Yeah, well, we'll talk to
- 5:00Speaker 1: rich Rich on tech and see what his thoughts are
- 5:02Speaker 1: and all this stuff. We have the Idaho Prison pen
- 5:05Speaker 1: Pals today, which you know, Gina is always obsessed with
- 5:07Speaker 1: these guys. They create these videos, and these guys who
- 5:10Speaker 1: are in prison, they create these videos and they release
- 5:12Speaker 1: them and they're they're looking for love or they're trying
- 5:14Speaker 1: to get people to put money onto their.
- 5:16Speaker 9: Under their books, under their books, and some of these
- 5:17Speaker 9: guys are real charmers.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I did wonder who I'm saying.
- 5:21Speaker 5: I think that was the sixth mement that said that
- 5:22Speaker 5: when we put you in jail, you still get to
- 5:24Speaker 5: like talk to the chair.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Pretty money. Greig's been requesting this as a segment for
- 5:30Speaker 1: a while. We haven't done it in a while, but
- 5:31Speaker 1: we're gonna do the We're going to try out open phones.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I just remember it went well last time we did it.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It either goes really well or it's really terrible. But
- 5:40Speaker 1: the calls are either really good and some interesting stuff,
- 5:42Speaker 1: or it's really awful, or there's even like stuff. Because
- 5:45Speaker 1: you know, Morgan goes to the calls and stuff like
- 5:47Speaker 1: the stuff we can't even put on the air. Oh yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 1: so again it's either a lot. It's either good or
- 5:52Speaker 1: really bad news headlines. Meda says, the Latest and World
- 5:54Speaker 1: of Entertainment will do the Birthday's porn of Birthday all
- 5:57Speaker 1: come up here on the Woodie Show. If you want
- 5:59Speaker 1: to be a part of any of it, gohing and
- 6:00Speaker 1: give us a call eight seven seven forty four Woody.
- 6:03Speaker 1: You can send us a text over to two to
- 6:05Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Is it two good? It's pretty good,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I tell I'm thinking maybe it's not good The Woody Show.
- 6:15Speaker 1: All right, welcome back. Everybody phones open eight seven seven
- 6:20Speaker 1: forty four Woody, text us over to two to two
- 6:23Speaker 1: ninety seven. I guess, And maybe I confuse some people
- 6:25Speaker 1: because people are calling in for open phones already. That's
- 6:27Speaker 1: gonna be a little bit later. I'm just giving the
- 6:29Speaker 1: number if you want to be part of whatever it is.
- 6:30Speaker 1: But yeah, just everybody calm down. We'll get to it. Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Better interest rates, you know, gas prices, the monthly consumer
- 6:41Speaker 1: price index. It gives us insight into the state of
- 6:43Speaker 1: the economy. But uh, there's the story. I was reading
- 6:46Speaker 1: this research that was done. It's a financial services company
- 6:50Speaker 1: that just looked at how much people are spending on others,
- 6:53Speaker 1: so buying someone gifts for their birthday, months for example,
- 6:58Speaker 1: leaving tips and you know how much the tooth fairy
- 7:02Speaker 1: is leaving under pillows and so it's it's they call
- 7:05Speaker 1: the going rate study because you want to like, well,
- 7:07Speaker 1: how much is whatever? How much are people? It's the
- 7:10Speaker 1: going rate study focusing on how people give tip and celebrate,
- 7:15Speaker 1: just to kind of see if you are in the
- 7:17Speaker 1: normal by the numbers range. All right, So half of
- 7:21Speaker 1: people from the studies say they don't know what the
- 7:24Speaker 1: right amount is to give, but fifty percent admit they
- 7:27Speaker 1: feel pressure to spend a certain amount on gifts someone's
- 7:31Speaker 1: birthday or someone's getting married, Like my cousin's getting married
- 7:35Speaker 1: here in a couple of weeks. I'm gonna go to
- 7:36Speaker 1: the wedding. My wife just asked me the other day, like,
- 7:38Speaker 1: so we get what are we giving her a dollar amount? Yeah,
- 7:42Speaker 1: because it's always money. We all just figure, like you know,
- 7:44Speaker 1: new new couples, you know, newly what they can always
- 7:47Speaker 1: use money that I hate, like the honeymoon fund, I
- 7:51Speaker 1: hate the whatever fund. I just like, just put a
- 7:54Speaker 1: list out and I'll buy you an item off the list. No, no, no,
- 7:58Speaker 1: that's the thing. They didn't say, my cousin doesn't have
- 8:01Speaker 1: a honeymoon fund. They're not asking for anything in particular.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I mean she's in her thirties.
- 8:06Speaker 9: You know, thirties adults get married. We already have all
- 8:09Speaker 9: our stuff.
- 8:10Speaker 1: In fact, I think I know, I know it well.
- 8:15Speaker 1: So she's like, oh, you know what, whatever registered It
- 8:17Speaker 1: would be uncomfortable at that point, but cash is king absolutely,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and I got no problem. I got no problem. Don'ting
- 8:22Speaker 1: to like a honeymoon fund. But what's too little? What's
- 8:25Speaker 1: too much?
- 8:25Speaker 10: Well?
- 8:26Speaker 9: What the standard? What did your wife say? Because usually
- 8:28Speaker 9: it's what one hundred?
- 8:29Speaker 1: It depends person. I would say minimum is like a hundred, yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: for a wedding, and not for what you said.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Maybe maybe kind of guesstimate what they're paying per head
- 8:39Speaker 5: and double that.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Maybe yeah, it's like eighty bucks ahead. This is a
- 8:43Speaker 1: cousin and she's been through a lot and whatever, so
- 8:45Speaker 1: we're you know, we're being more down now.
- 8:48Speaker 11: It's the same for poor people, like say, I'm going
- 8:51Speaker 11: to a wedding, are they expecting one hundred dollars.
- 8:53Speaker 1: No, no, no, they.
- 8:55Speaker 9: Know we knew our friends. So I was like, please
- 8:58Speaker 9: don't send us anything, just come to the wedding.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Now six and ten, people feel that the whole gifting
- 9:03Speaker 1: culture has gotten out of hand and people are just
- 9:06Speaker 1: experiencing gift fatigue. This is what I bring up when
- 9:08Speaker 1: it comes to like, you know, obligation, man, I want
- 9:11Speaker 1: to be free of obligation on things like That's why
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm not asking for anything, because I don't want to
- 9:15Speaker 1: be asked to give you anything, you know what I mean,
- 9:18Speaker 1: like for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, all these obligation days. Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Speaking of which, if I can ask Gina a question
- 9:27Speaker 5: and you might get where I'm going here. But when
- 9:30Speaker 5: I was working as a college intern again poor person
- 9:33Speaker 5: for my boss. I was studying abroad in England. I
- 9:37Speaker 5: got a letter from my boss in America wanting for me,
- 9:40Speaker 5: asking for a gift for his daughter's bot mitzvah, a
- 9:43Speaker 5: daughter who used me I'd never met in my life.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That's t Wait, were you invited to the bot Mitzvah? No, No, that's.
- 9:52Speaker 9: I've never heard of anything like that. That's just a
- 9:54Speaker 9: bad person. Oh, that's not standard in any way, I
- 9:59Speaker 9: don't even like them when people stuff in like, oh,
- 10:01Speaker 9: my son's team is what.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I because that's another old gage, Like what are you
- 10:05Speaker 1: supposed to say no? Because then you're a total dick.
- 10:06Speaker 1: So of course I always buy whatever.
- 10:08Speaker 9: It is, like the why is it your son selling it?
- 10:10Speaker 9: Where are you hoofing it for him?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Because they put it on the parents too, you know
- 10:15Speaker 1: what they're doing, like girls scout cookies and stuff to
- 10:17Speaker 1: go door to door. I support the girl Scout cookie things,
- 10:19Speaker 1: So I stupid popcorn from the boys. Nobody wants to.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't want that crowd. According to the People, the
- 10:26Speaker 1: average going rate for a birthday gift is fifty six
- 10:29Speaker 1: bucks for an adult, eighty three bucks for kids, eighty
- 10:32Speaker 1: five bucks for a wedding gift, and the going rate
- 10:35Speaker 1: for a holiday gift is sixty four dollars eighty five
- 10:38Speaker 1: bucks for a kid.
- 10:40Speaker 9: Yeah, do I have to step up my game?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Fifty five bucks for Mother's Day that seems low, thirty
- 10:47Speaker 1: eight bucks for Father's Day it tracks, and then for
- 10:51Speaker 1: a teacher or coach gift it's fifteen bucks. That's low.
- 10:56Speaker 1: See that's the thing that we talked about, gift fatigue.
- 10:57Speaker 1: It's like you get my father kid's tea sure at
- 11:00Speaker 1: present now oh yeah, chases and they don't want that
- 11:03Speaker 1: crap either when at the end of the year. Yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 1: and like Christmas for kids. Weekly allowance on averages what
- 11:09Speaker 1: now thirty really? I don't we don't do allowance. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: would guess ten thirty seven dollars is the average. Now,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I kind of I was born at the wrong time.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Tooth fairy payouts are now an average of fifteen dollars
- 11:29Speaker 1: per child, so they visit us, they ball fifteen dollars
- 11:32Speaker 1: per tooth our tooth fairy, my teeth. I think the
- 11:36Speaker 1: most we did was five bucks.
- 11:38Speaker 6: I know someone that did one hundred.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That's oh my god. Yeah. When it comes to tipping,
- 11:43Speaker 1: people report leaving an average of sixteen percent for takeout,
- 11:47Speaker 1: eleven percent for food delivery, fourteen percent for you know,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you go get your hair data or whatever, and then
- 11:54Speaker 1: a ten percent for ride share services. Cash and gift
- 11:58Speaker 1: cards are more acceptable as present now than they were
- 12:00Speaker 1: in the past. Thank god.
- 12:02Speaker 12: No.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so eighty percent of people say it's a it's
- 12:04Speaker 1: a it's an Okay, it's fine, it's acceptable. It used
- 12:07Speaker 1: to be Oh that's so impersonal and yeah, duld, I
- 12:10Speaker 1: would take gift cards all day. Oh yeah. More than
- 12:13Speaker 1: half think their generation spends more than others on gifts.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Let's see. Oh yeah, when it comes to the wedding thing,
- 12:19Speaker 1: about half of people say that you should pay for
- 12:22Speaker 1: the plate. Help your plate, that's what they say. Yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 1: the best presence can't be wrapped. According to forty four percent,
- 12:29Speaker 1: who would rather give the gift of time, oh yes,
- 12:33Speaker 1: than money or material thing. Here's the worst gift you
- 12:35Speaker 1: could do. Yeh, donation has been made in your name.
- 12:39Speaker 1: That's the lamest one. That's the lamesting. Somebody buy you
- 12:44Speaker 1: a star, you know, support that charity star. Lame right, Greg,
- 12:49Speaker 1: it would be awesome. They're and they're saying that that
- 12:52Speaker 1: more people are adopting a no gift policy for the holidays,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but they do those don't get enforced. I have that
- 13:00Speaker 1: every damn year with my mom. Yeah, he gives me
- 13:02Speaker 1: a thousand things, so I preemptively get her stuff even
- 13:05Speaker 1: though we just said no. Gregs so annoying. I'm trying
- 13:08Speaker 1: with my parents, I am. I think because we do
- 13:11Speaker 1: other things throughout the year, we'd rather do something for them,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know. And it might be something in the middle
- 13:16Speaker 1: of the summer that they're doing that you know, is
- 13:18Speaker 1: really cool to them, and so we'll chip it on
- 13:20Speaker 1: that and we'll take care of that rather than waiting
- 13:23Speaker 1: till Christmas and doing it. Then. See what do you
- 13:25Speaker 1: could relate? The last thing I want is more stuff?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all I want to do is get rid
- 13:30Speaker 1: of stuff. And if you give me something eight Christmas,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I don't it's just more stuff. I don't need it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: This is non I welcome back everybody. Yeah, idiot. Is Tuesday.
- 13:42Speaker 1: We are the Woody Show. Today is National Forgiveness and
- 13:46Speaker 1: Happiness Day. Greg. Today is you matter to Me day? Bag.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think we learned yesterday that you know, maybe we
- 13:53Speaker 1: don't matter to Greg, but yeah, it's we have this
- 13:58Speaker 1: everyday national fruit at work today? Get Greg between me
- 14:04Speaker 1: and Sammy. There's so many minutes, so much fruit. We
- 14:06Speaker 1: used to have fruits and a few not so sure
- 14:11Speaker 1: of fruits. Oh and today is a World Cotton Day.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Love cotton. Yeah dude, this uh said story? It happened.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I think it was like last month. Serena Williams. Oh, yes,
- 14:23Speaker 1: she was. She was at this hotel. I'm not even
- 14:25Speaker 1: sure what the hotel was. And you know how they
- 14:26Speaker 1: have that table that's right by the elevators. On every
- 14:29Speaker 1: floor they usually has a house phone on it. Always
- 14:33Speaker 1: used that house. Yeah. Anyway, so she posted a video
- 14:37Speaker 1: and she goes, well, how do you feel about this
- 14:39Speaker 1: as a decoration? It was just a sprig from like
- 14:42Speaker 1: a cotton plant or you know whatever, that cotton whatever.
- 14:48Speaker 1: It didn't it looked it looked fine. I was gonna
- 14:50Speaker 1: ask I have one question, Greg, because I saw it.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I thought it was ugly. You'd rather have flower? Flowers? Flowers?
- 14:56Speaker 1: Are they a good I probably write the same category
- 15:01Speaker 1: as like a first of all, pussy willow, right, but
- 15:04Speaker 1: low maintenance like flowers. Yeah, keep changing them out or whatever.
- 15:07Speaker 1: And so she goes, how do we feel about this
- 15:09Speaker 1: as a decoration? Personally? For me, it doesn't feel great.
- 15:13Speaker 1: She's trying to like, okay, okay, bitch. Yeah. Then she plucks,
- 15:18Speaker 1: you know, some cotton from the plant and then she
- 15:21Speaker 1: like kind of visibly shutters and says, yeah, she stopped.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It got almost zero supportive. Yeah, dude, talk about trying
- 15:31Speaker 1: to find something anyway. Well, Happy World Cotton Day. Oh
- 15:35Speaker 1: today in history, it was today in nineteen sixteen in
- 15:40Speaker 1: the most lopsided football game on record. I know where
- 15:43Speaker 1: you're going with this. You're alma mater, Georgia Tech. Thank
- 15:46Speaker 1: you to the humbled Cumberland University. The final score was
- 15:51Speaker 1: two and twenty two to zero. I guess when you
- 15:56Speaker 1: have smart engineers doing it? Here is mathematically went there
- 16:02Speaker 1: in nineteen sixteen, scholars, Scholars, where's a couple of university
- 16:06Speaker 1: up to these days? I don't know. Is it a
- 16:08Speaker 1: university who guess the birthday is the Port of Berthey
- 16:09Speaker 1: coming up here in a second minutes? Give us a
- 16:11Speaker 1: couple of stories here in the world of entertainment.
- 16:13Speaker 8: Well, there's an injustice, guys. The Kelsey Brothers were snubbed
- 16:17Speaker 8: by the Golden Globes. The Golden Globes have a new
- 16:20Speaker 8: category for podcasts, and so people that have been well
- 16:24Speaker 8: I know exactly why they're doing this, but just to
- 16:26Speaker 8: let you know real quick on who has been nominated.
- 16:29Speaker 8: That'd be Jason Bateman.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Sean Hayes, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Dak Shepherd, people that
- 16:38Speaker 1: weren't famous before podcasting, people who are already actors in
- 16:43Speaker 1: their world.
- 16:44Speaker 8: And the non famous who actually built a podcast would
- 16:48Speaker 8: be Alex Cooper from call her daddy Mel Robbins.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Well you can kind of argue that.
- 16:53Speaker 8: Yeah, and then Ben Shapiro and you have Tucker Carlson,
- 16:59Speaker 8: Joe Roche, and then you have Theovon and a couple
- 17:02Speaker 8: more so snubbed guys. But the reason they're doing this
- 17:06Speaker 8: because all these podcasts are going to talk about the
- 17:08Speaker 8: Gold Gold.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Yes, so it's it's genius. Well, if you look at
- 17:11Speaker 5: any of us are great awards shows. That's literally who's
- 17:13Speaker 5: nominated and who wins is what's the biggest name we
- 17:16Speaker 5: can get you?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah, what's the biggest name we can get? Show up
- 17:18Speaker 1: to the cere and we'll talk about it beforehand so
- 17:20Speaker 1: people will tune in. I've not I've only seen clips
- 17:23Speaker 1: of Theovon's podcast on his Instagram. Yes, that's something I've seen.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Is the podcast good? Yeah, it's great. Yeah, I love it.
- 17:31Speaker 9: Are they all like really heartfelt in depth conversations.
- 17:34Speaker 13: No.
- 17:35Speaker 8: So he will either interview somebody that's like super famous
- 17:38Speaker 8: or he'll just interview He has one recently that's been
- 17:41Speaker 8: going really well where he interviews an Amish kid that's
- 17:45Speaker 8: on What's Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 1: When you get to like, you know, go check out
- 17:49Speaker 1: the world. That was really really good. Yeah.
- 17:52Speaker 8: So it's kind of like all over the place, or
- 17:54Speaker 8: he'll just do like a solo podcast and just talk
- 17:56Speaker 8: about what's going on in his life.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Pretty good. Check it out, all right. Another thing that
- 18:01Speaker 1: has been posted online and we've been waiting for ten
- 18:03Speaker 1: years for it. Did you see that it finally got posted?
- 18:06Speaker 1: The Mister Beast video that he scheduled ten years ago
- 18:09Speaker 1: to talk about, Oh, I don't know where I'm going
- 18:11Speaker 1: to be at in the future, and uh that was
- 18:14Speaker 1: good time.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yea.
- 18:16Speaker 1: So he did the video speaking to his future self
- 18:18Speaker 1: and he said, you know, if I by this time
- 18:20Speaker 1: in ten years, I don't have a million, one million subscribers,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I've failed in life. Yeah, I think it's done. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:28Speaker 8: So that video got released, and of course he has
- 18:31Speaker 8: gone way beyond one million subscribers. He has four hundred
- 18:34Speaker 8: and forty million.
- 18:35Speaker 1: That video that got posted has had over twenty six
- 18:39Speaker 1: million views within the first twenty four hours. Now, can
- 18:43Speaker 1: we get some losers who didn't make it and see
- 18:45Speaker 1: their videos?
- 18:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:46Speaker 8: I don't know, I'm sure those have no views. All right,
- 18:49Speaker 8: some other thing to talk about. I just want to
- 18:51Speaker 8: bring it up. So Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, who
- 18:56Speaker 8: is her ex husband. They were married I think seventeen years.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Girl.
- 19:01Speaker 8: They were just recently seen at their kids tennis game.
- 19:04Speaker 8: Now that's the part that I forget when you break
- 19:06Speaker 8: up match match all right, yeah, the ball thing, dude,
- 19:12Speaker 8: they they had to show up to the game.
- 19:15Speaker 1: And you know, support their kids, be good. You know,
- 19:17Speaker 1: parents support it.
- 19:18Speaker 8: But I forget about that, Like, Okay, yeah, you have
- 19:21Speaker 8: like your child support thing stuff they got to do.
- 19:23Speaker 8: But if you want to be a good parent, you
- 19:25Speaker 8: still have to see that the partner. That kind of sucks, right,
- 19:30Speaker 8: like you don't want this person in your life.
- 19:32Speaker 1: But yeah, so they were together kids.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 19:36Speaker 1: And another reason I'm bringing this up is we just
- 19:38Speaker 1: did that me and greet with with what he showed
- 19:41Speaker 1: listeners and Joe Cooy and this dude, this one guy
- 19:44Speaker 1: showed up with his ex wife and his current wife
- 19:48Speaker 1: to the me and greet with their kids, and they
- 19:50Speaker 1: were they were all really cool. Like that's I mean,
- 19:53Speaker 1: that is very rare. I think you do that better
- 19:57Speaker 1: than guys can. Yeah, and the gays, right, Greg, No,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I mean allegedly yes, but in my case, absolutely not.
- 20:06Speaker 8: Oh really absolutely, I don't know I think. I mean,
- 20:09Speaker 8: we know Mike friend Mike, he's always hanging out with
- 20:12Speaker 8: his axes all the time.
- 20:13Speaker 1: That's more lesbianic. It is.
- 20:15Speaker 9: Really yes, they all stay best friends, but lesbians do.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Scorged goes back to menace, the whole thing that he
- 20:27Speaker 1: said for years about like, you know, try to find
- 20:29Speaker 1: a woman who has a friend from childhood, who still
- 20:33Speaker 1: has a friend from childhood. But this is very rare.
- 20:35Speaker 9: This is like a specific group which is lesbian women,
- 20:39Speaker 9: and they're like what we used to date, but now
- 20:40Speaker 9: we're best friends and it's very Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I forgure the fallout would have been like mega drama.
- 20:46Speaker 1: They're not that. They're not those chicks you really bond.
- 20:48Speaker 6: When he says there, I think, yeah, there you go.
- 20:50Speaker 9: Morgan knows when you slam, it's just different together.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't undo that. Yeah, alright, alright, is there
- 20:58Speaker 1: more to that story? Mets or good, okay, time for
- 21:02Speaker 1: the birthdays show. Say we're gonna shiver, We're gonna sit.
- 21:08Speaker 1: She was like, it's shiverday and you know, we.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Don't do.
- 21:12Speaker 1: And we'll sorry. The celebrities as always, Happy birthday to
- 21:15Speaker 1: Simon Cowell. It was sixty six Today from MENACE's favorite
- 21:20Speaker 1: band ever Radiohead, tom Yorke Hell Yeah, is fifty seven.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Just a bunch of fun guys. It was in the
- 21:28Speaker 1: X Men movies. Also, the rookie Sean Ashmore is forty six.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Brie Olsen she was Charlie Sheen's head and goddess during
- 21:36Speaker 1: his meltdown her nurse Yeah and a fan of Cardnar
- 21:39Speaker 1: Breye Olsen is thirty nine. Most Important. John Cooper Mellencamp
- 21:43Speaker 1: is seventy four. Lewis Capaldi is twenty nine. Todd's very Hot.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Tony Braxton is fifty eight. Joy Behart, Oh yeah, great,
- 21:53Speaker 1: if only Greg was straight, you know, Joy Bayhart Market
- 21:58Speaker 1: is eighty three today and world renown, World renowns. And
- 22:02Speaker 1: also that's a name that you would think he's a rapper.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yo Yo Ma, Yo Ma is seventy years old Today
- 22:09Speaker 1: in the Buildings and Your Porn Old Birthday is Jelena

- 22:19Speaker 1: including pot O Vagina. She was in Lesbian House Hunters
- 22:24Speaker 1: Greg Volumes Five and thirteen and Being Best Friend. Here's
- 22:28Speaker 1: another one that you might like six Girl Neighborhood orgy yeow,
- 22:32Speaker 1: she was in Lesbian's Bumping Boobs. Yeah they do. Prison
- 22:37Speaker 1: has changed you? Volume one? Yeah, what happened? Also, you
- 22:40Speaker 1: wanted the Bush, you got the Bush? Nice, and who
- 22:43Speaker 1: can forget her unforgettable role in Little Red Riding Hood's
- 22:47Speaker 1: Harry Hole.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Quick one.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That's Jelena Jensen, who's forty four. I don't know, she's
- 22:54Speaker 1: Greek God. Where is this going? Yeah, Little Red Riding
- 22:58Speaker 1: Hoods Harry Hole, Julia Jensen's forty four. Today Metroporno Birthday,
- 23:03Speaker 1: your celebrity birthdays, and that is a Tuesday morning. Look
- 23:06Speaker 1: at what's happening around the world of entertainment. You're on
- 23:09Speaker 1: The Woody Show. I'm gonna take a quick break. More
- 23:11Speaker 1: Woodes Show is next.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Hang on The Woody Show. Will be right back.
- 23:16Speaker 1: The Woody Show, And we are into another new hour
- 23:22Speaker 1: eating sensitivity training for a politically correct world. It's Tuesday morning.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's October the seventh, twenty twenty five. Yeah, Nice, Woody
- 23:31Speaker 1: was Greg Gory. You know, we got Venice to the
- 23:33Speaker 1: Grand Can, we got to Sea beat, Sammy's here, Morgan
- 23:38Speaker 1: is here this morning morning. We got the phones open
- 23:40Speaker 1: at eight seven seven forty four, they're gonna be wide
- 23:43Speaker 1: open here. Oh yeah, very soon, gaping. It's a yeah,
- 23:48Speaker 1: it's a it's a thing that Greg has been requesting
- 23:51Speaker 1: now for a while and hadn't gotten around to it.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Open funds. But the phones are always open. We always
- 23:55Speaker 1: say that, like, whatever you want to call in with,
- 23:57Speaker 1: but literally we are turning the show over to you
- 24:00Speaker 1: and anything you want to call in with. You got
- 24:03Speaker 1: a question, something you want to bring up. Do you
- 24:06Speaker 1: want to get everybody's take on whatever, Uh, you can
- 24:10Speaker 1: just call it. That's it, all right. And sometimes this
- 24:13Speaker 1: segment goes really great. Sometimes it's really terrible. Yeah, and
- 24:18Speaker 1: I think it's different now. I mean, you hear it
- 24:19Speaker 1: on on a lot of talk shows. They'll they'll do well,
- 24:22Speaker 1: we got the open phone segment killed up next whatever.
- 24:27Speaker 2: We like.
- 24:27Speaker 1: There's all these guys on the talk radio they're and
- 24:31Speaker 1: you're going crazy about it. The sports talk guys, they're
- 24:35Speaker 1: constantly just hand like this, but I'm not sure what's happening,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you know, Like that's the sports talk guys. And then
- 24:43Speaker 1: when you get into the political kind of talk realm,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you have people talking like this huge pauses. It's a big,
- 24:53Speaker 1: huge pauses, or we're gonna do the phones. This be anyway,
- 25:00Speaker 1: so you get to call if you got questions. It
- 25:02Speaker 1: could be an ask the WOODI showed thing, whatever you got. Yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 1: you'll be able to call in. Uh, we'll take your calls.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Eight seven seven forty four, Woody go through some of
- 25:10Speaker 1: the maybe the after hours voicemails. The big difference now
- 25:14Speaker 1: I've noticed since you know, we use social media and
- 25:17Speaker 1: we use the text a lot. It's like Gina doesn't
- 25:20Speaker 1: want to talk on the phone. Oh, so there's a
- 25:22Speaker 1: lot of people who are like that, and so we
- 25:24Speaker 1: get a lot more texts these days. With it. The
- 25:27Speaker 1: text goes nuts. There's a lot of that, and there's
- 25:31Speaker 1: fewer calls. It used to be where you know, people
- 25:33Speaker 1: would just call. This's the only way to really do it. Yeah,
- 25:36Speaker 1: And then things, as you know, technology and people's habits
- 25:39Speaker 1: and whatever change, and so now it's it's a lot
- 25:42Speaker 1: of text interact, which is great. I don't care how
- 25:44Speaker 1: people interact.
- 25:45Speaker 8: But also it's a lot of what I noticed in
- 25:48Speaker 8: the podcast world as well. It's voicemails, like, yeah, everyone
- 25:52Speaker 8: just plays voicemails.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, voice message, Yeah. The talk back feature like
- 25:58Speaker 1: on the app, or you're listening on the app, you
- 25:59Speaker 1: use the feature after hours voicemails and things like that.
- 26:02Speaker 1: If my phone rings, I think, what's wrong? If my mom?
- 26:08Speaker 1: If my mom calls me at a time where she
- 26:10Speaker 1: knows doesn't if she called me right now, I would
- 26:14Speaker 1: go to break and pick up that phone call absolutely,
- 26:16Speaker 1: because she knows that I'm here, and she knows that
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm working. If she knows that I'm doing something, then
- 26:20Speaker 1: she's calling in. Yeah, I go, Hey, is everything is
- 26:22Speaker 1: how I entered the phone?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Hey?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Is everything all right? Exactly? Yeah? My mom knows what
- 26:26Speaker 1: I'm doing. Yeah, sorry I forgot.
- 26:28Speaker 5: The Okay, yeah, call me later. I'm like, all right,
- 26:31Speaker 5: you got to be a heart attack when you well
- 26:33Speaker 5: she leaves voicemails. Now she starts with nothing serious. I
- 26:36Speaker 5: just want to they know.
- 26:40Speaker 9: If you text me the words call me, I won't
- 26:42Speaker 9: be able to call you back because I will be
- 26:44Speaker 9: busy dealing with my strokes shaking.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, I hate I love the phone call. That
- 26:50Speaker 1: means that just means it's too much to text. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 1: but that's fine. It's a scary text to get called me.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It's easy to be after we need to talk right,
- 27:00Speaker 1: or we need to chat. I don't know what it
- 27:04Speaker 1: is about chat, like we need a chat? Yeah, you
- 27:06Speaker 1: and I are gonna have a chat. What's your mortgage?
- 27:07Speaker 14: Do?
- 27:09Speaker 1: I always do the so you just bought that house?
- 27:12Speaker 1: Hume right off the line. You don't regret that? The
- 27:16Speaker 1: just like call me all the time to you? Do
- 27:18Speaker 1: you streuss out? Or what's that do? I forget? No, no,
- 27:22Speaker 1: give me gregor built differently, I will call that person. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 1: that's text of what he is like, call me, because
- 27:29Speaker 1: then otherwise medace has to like spell words. I understand.
- 27:32Speaker 13: You know.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I prefer the phone call because it's just quick easy.
- 27:35Speaker 1: If it's a if it's a really quick question, I
- 27:38Speaker 1: would just send the question. But if it's more something
- 27:40Speaker 1: that requires an explanation, or it's something where I'm looking
- 27:44Speaker 1: for your taker opinion or you know, input on something,
- 27:47Speaker 1: then I'm just gonna call. It's quicker. Yeah, then you
- 27:50Speaker 1: get it. Dot dot dot, you're the kind of dot
- 27:53Speaker 1: being told what to do. When I get a text
- 27:54Speaker 1: that says call me, my response in my head is no,
- 28:00Speaker 1: this guy I'm having what it doesn't mean right, it's
- 28:08Speaker 1: just a note of whenever, Like when you you know
- 28:10Speaker 1: when you have a chance to call them.
- 28:12Speaker 11: Then why isn't the text saying call me instead of
- 28:14Speaker 11: just calling good point?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Morgan not a good point because that then it gives
- 28:17Speaker 1: you the opportunity to do at your leisure.
- 28:20Speaker 8: Right, Yeah, this means it, So it's not it's supposed
- 28:22Speaker 8: to be following up with call me when you're free.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But typically when you're Freeking. So here's here's how I work. Like,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I will try somebody. Yeah, if they don't pick up
- 28:31Speaker 1: and go, oh they're busy, how to go call me,
- 28:33Speaker 1: which just means when you have an opportunity give me
- 28:37Speaker 1: a call, I will try to call first. But if
- 28:39Speaker 1: I know someone in the middle of you know, whatever
- 28:42Speaker 1: it is, I know someone's at work or something, then
- 28:45Speaker 1: then that's when I I will just start with the
- 28:47Speaker 1: text call me because I know they're in the middle
- 28:49Speaker 1: of something.
- 28:49Speaker 9: And then Greg and I will have an easy fun
- 28:52Speaker 9: rest of our day at work. Call me after No,
- 28:56Speaker 9: Now I know your tone.
- 28:58Speaker 1: It's not just how de text from a friend that
- 29:01Speaker 1: says call me.
- 29:03Speaker 9: You know what I always respond to you call me?
- 29:06Speaker 9: I always respond with can't now you okay? And then
- 29:10Speaker 9: if they say yes, I'm like I don't talk to
- 29:11Speaker 9: you when I talk to you, Yeah, but you now
- 29:13Speaker 9: I have to hear my head going call me.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Yeah, not read people read into everything like that. That's
- 29:21Speaker 1: got to be exhausting, is it?
- 29:22Speaker 9: Because you're not that's and you don't use well, you
- 29:24Speaker 9: do use emojis, just not those kind of emojis.
- 29:27Speaker 1: So like if you're like, call me thumbs up, smiley
- 29:31Speaker 1: something like why I don't need to do a smiley
- 29:33Speaker 1: face with Well, you're not a girl, so you don't
- 29:35Speaker 1: speak Yeah, but why why?
- 29:37Speaker 2: Why?
- 29:38Speaker 1: Why does everything got to be read into? Like sometimes
- 29:40Speaker 1: it's just call me.
- 29:41Speaker 6: We need to be coddled.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I think, no, we need to have contact. But is
- 29:44Speaker 1: that greg, Is it not exhausting? Like are you not
- 29:48Speaker 1: mentally exhausted? Usually I'm by worrying about silly the silly
- 29:53Speaker 1: things like people recognizing you at the grocery store because
- 29:56Speaker 1: you've been there, or the gina with the calm Oh
- 29:59Speaker 1: what does that mean? Call and find out. Okay, I'm
- 30:02Speaker 1: thinking of one friend in particular who always does that
- 30:05Speaker 1: call me like, no, I'm busy napping. I'm trying to nap. Ye,
- 30:09Speaker 1: here's one call. Yeah, I hate you anyway, So the
- 30:12Speaker 1: open phone's coming up at this point. Maybe you got
- 30:16Speaker 1: nothing to say to us, you don't want to call
- 30:18Speaker 1: It's It's okay. We got a couple emails we could share.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We get some Matt Travers voicemails, and some of the
- 30:23Speaker 1: things to get to, including the trending news headlines.
- 30:26Speaker 9: A lots of drama for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Monday
- 30:28Speaker 9: night football. Last night, the Chiefs scored a touchdown with
- 30:31Speaker 9: only one minute and forty five seconds left in the game.
- 30:34Speaker 1: It looked to be over. Yeah, it had to be.
- 30:36Speaker 9: Twenty four we were watching, but Casey got a couple
- 30:38Speaker 9: of penalties. The Jags were first and goal on the
- 30:41Speaker 9: one yard line. QB Trevor Lawrence had his footstepped on
- 30:45Speaker 9: by his own teammate while going back to pass. He
- 30:47Speaker 9: fell down on the six, stumbled while getting up, but
- 30:50Speaker 9: ended up running it in for what ended up being
- 30:52Speaker 9: the winning touchdown. It's wild, mass insane. The Jags are
- 30:56Speaker 9: now four to one, Chiefs two two and three four
- 31:00Speaker 9: and one. Excuse me, And that was a big debate
- 31:02Speaker 9: here because Sea Bass was I was saying that.
- 31:05Speaker 1: A lot of teams suck this year, and yeah, you know,
- 31:07Speaker 1: and the Chiefs are here not doing great there, and
- 31:10Speaker 1: the opposite is true with the Jaguars. Like you hear
- 31:13Speaker 1: Jaguars and the association is sucks. Yeah, you know, but
- 31:17Speaker 1: they're four and one. Yeah, right, so they're tricky.
- 31:21Speaker 15: Right.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Well, it's tricky too because there's a lot of crap teams,
- 31:24Speaker 5: you know, raiders, et cetera, so that they they pile
- 31:26Speaker 5: up wins against other crap teams, right, so you know
- 31:28Speaker 5: the record isn't always Yeah, but then.
- 31:30Speaker 1: They beat the Chiefs, who have been great obviously. Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 1: but this is what everybody's been waiting for. Minute, Like
- 31:36Speaker 1: a lot of people have been waiting for the Chiefs
- 31:37Speaker 1: to suck, the same way you waited for the Patriots
- 31:39Speaker 1: to suck. You wanted them to have them down. Yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: like you didn't want to see them if I got
- 31:43Speaker 1: to see them, I get it, you get fatigue. I
- 31:45Speaker 1: kind of feel like, you know, like the the Eagles
- 31:48Speaker 1: are approaching that now where people are starting to get
- 31:50Speaker 1: like some Eagle fatigue. We get it, right, yeah, exactly,
- 31:54Speaker 1: because the same teams.
- 31:55Speaker 9: Well, we have an update on that Mark Sanchez story.
- 31:58Speaker 9: One of his misdemeanors has been upgraded to a felony
- 32:01Speaker 9: So the Indie Police held a press conference yesterday saying
- 32:04Speaker 9: they've upgraded the battery charge and that more charges are possible,
- 32:08Speaker 9: and the hearing has been moved to November. So he's
- 32:10Speaker 9: gonna be cool on his heels a little while. And
- 32:11Speaker 9: from the looks of things, it sounds like cops want
- 32:13Speaker 9: to make an example out of him. The police chief said,
- 32:16Speaker 9: I don't care who you are, what you do for
- 32:18Speaker 9: a living, where you live. If you come into our
- 32:20Speaker 9: city and commit violence, we will use the tools at
- 32:23Speaker 9: our disposal to hold you accountable. Now prepare for a
- 32:27Speaker 9: couple of eye rolls. Because the sixty nine year old
- 32:29Speaker 9: victim he sued Sanchez and Fox Far Fox for his
- 32:34Speaker 9: injuries and says that Fox should have known about Sanchez
- 32:37Speaker 9: being an unfit employee.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Okay, what lawyer got a hold of him? I think
- 32:43Speaker 1: you have a pretty solid case. You don't need to, like,
- 32:46Speaker 1: you know.
- 32:47Speaker 9: Yeah, but who else are you going to turn over
- 32:49Speaker 9: and shake their pockets out?
- 32:50Speaker 1: You don't need to. You have enough. You have the
- 32:52Speaker 1: guy who stabbed or you got the guy who attacked you.
- 32:56Speaker 5: Yeah, probably a couple of mill because he played for
- 32:58Speaker 5: a few years.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's been working for a long time, so
- 33:02Speaker 1: they got earning. That's see. Now you've now. I hope
- 33:05Speaker 1: he loses that. I hope they find a loophole somewhere
- 33:09Speaker 1: and like he walks away with absolutely nothing. You stab someone,
- 33:13Speaker 1: you get nothing.
- 33:13Speaker 5: I'm most interested and we won't know for a while
- 33:15Speaker 5: to hear what Sanchez's excuses, Like what could this guy
- 33:18Speaker 5: have done?
- 33:18Speaker 1: Well, he already did, he already said. I hardly remember
- 33:20Speaker 1: a thing. I don't remember what happened.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Well, yeah, he's got a come up with something like
- 33:24Speaker 5: like he's king, he was coming right for me sort
- 33:25Speaker 5: of thing, you know, because like he's not your driveway,
- 33:28Speaker 5: assumedly that he's blocking or whatever he did.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Why are you mad?
- 33:32Speaker 16: Mark?
- 33:32Speaker 1: Why are you mad?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Bro? Yeah? Bro?
- 33:34Speaker 1: When some mixed report saying that he's worth forty million,
- 33:36Speaker 1: forty that's a nice playout, but tens of millions? Yeah.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Well.
- 33:40Speaker 9: Game two for both the NLDS series went down last night.
- 33:43Speaker 9: The Dodgers bullpen tried to blow their four to one
- 33:46Speaker 9: leave going into the bottom of the ninth, but Freddie
- 33:48Speaker 9: Freeman saved the day with a nice defensive play. Dodgers
- 33:51Speaker 9: hang hung onto the wind four to thirty, four to
- 33:54Speaker 9: thirty three fortwo.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Three, Florida thirty three, which died. No, it be right now,
- 34:03Speaker 1: get the news I did. I looked at everything and
- 34:05Speaker 1: I thought, you know, I'm sure you did.
- 34:08Speaker 9: I'm sorry, and uh well the other one, the other
- 34:10Speaker 9: one was written that was user air now only one
- 34:13Speaker 9: game away from going back to the National League Championship
- 34:16Speaker 9: Game three tomorrow night at Dodgers Stadium. And in other
- 34:20Speaker 9: game two news, the Brewers beat the Cubs and have
- 34:23Speaker 9: two games to none lead and could lose it out
- 34:25Speaker 9: tomorrow to Chicago. Tonight it's game three for a LDS.
- 34:30Speaker 9: The Blue Jays could close out the Yankees in New York,
- 34:32Speaker 9: Tigers and Mariners in Detroit.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, for someone whose dad is a
- 34:36Speaker 1: legendary sports guy, you blow at covering more than any
- 34:40Speaker 1: covering sports. You know what I used to say to him.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I used to say when they'd hold up the friend,
- 34:44Speaker 1: it's like, you've never heard of sports before. I don't
- 34:46Speaker 1: do sports. I don't know sports that it just sucks.
- 34:48Speaker 1: These are the biggest stories right now. So they're in
- 34:50Speaker 1: her world with the news right now.
- 34:52Speaker 13: Now.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Hate it, hate everything about it. Hate it. Sea Bass.
- 34:55Speaker 9: I would love for you to do that I'd love
- 34:57Speaker 9: to hear how you sound get attacked when what is
- 34:59Speaker 9: to you?
- 35:00Speaker 1: No, because I just think it's.
- 35:01Speaker 9: Interesting, you know, I think I see that you know
- 35:04Speaker 9: sea Best, that you're right. Sea Best is known for
- 35:06Speaker 9: a small, intimate meek gestures, not the.
- 35:12Speaker 5: On your side, but again the taxi best because he
- 35:15Speaker 5: can take it.
- 35:17Speaker 9: Remember you know how in games when there's someone holds
- 35:20Speaker 9: up a d and someone holds up a fence. I
- 35:22Speaker 9: used to call my dad and go, what does d
- 35:24Speaker 9: gate mean? And he always responded the same because I
- 35:28Speaker 9: asked him more than once.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Oh Angel, That's why I had a boy and a girl.
- 35:34Speaker 9: That was his response to everything, and he was right
- 35:37Speaker 9: to respond texting.
- 35:40Speaker 1: But also like you, Okay, so your dad's like a
- 35:43Speaker 1: legendary sportscaster right at plus years all right? And then
- 35:46Speaker 1: you are married to a guy who loves sports, talks
- 35:50Speaker 1: about sports, participates in sports all the time, You have
- 35:53Speaker 1: a step son who plays sports. You go to all
- 35:55Speaker 1: the games.
- 35:55Speaker 9: And I'm a big supporter. But why do I have
- 35:58Speaker 9: to love it? You have to love musicals. I'm saying,
- 36:04Speaker 9: let's assume I decided that you know I'm gonna live.
- 36:06Speaker 9: I'm gonna live full time in Mexico for like six months.
- 36:09Speaker 9: I would pick up a lot of Spanish. Now, right,
- 36:11Speaker 9: there are some people that never do. I think you'd
- 36:14Speaker 9: be able to get around some people that don't do
- 36:16Speaker 9: it the other way, that's for sure.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, thank you exactly.
- 36:27Speaker 9: Why does he want us to hold up fences and gates? Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 9: never did, never did, And he knew it from the
- 36:33Speaker 9: day I was born.
- 36:35Speaker 1: It's just so funny right now. It just none of
- 36:38Speaker 1: that rub.
- 36:39Speaker 9: Off, not one today, No, not and we and back
- 36:43Speaker 9: in the day, there was no like picture in picture.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 36:46Speaker 9: My dad would just have two big box TVs sitting
- 36:49Speaker 9: next to each other, so we could watch two games
- 36:51Speaker 9: at once.
- 36:51Speaker 1: And this was our life. But you didn't look at
- 36:53Speaker 1: them at all. I looked in its direction. It didn't.
- 36:56Speaker 9: It didn't have any effect on me. No, I love that,
- 36:59Speaker 9: you guys love it. I support it. I never bag
- 37:01Speaker 9: on it. I never say some starts. It's just it's
- 37:04Speaker 9: not my thing. It's not my thing.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Clearly.
- 37:06Speaker 9: Well, in case you're playing along at home, like a
- 37:08Speaker 9: lot of federal workers aren't getting, the government is still
- 37:11Speaker 9: shut down. There were a couple more votes held yesterday.
- 37:14Speaker 9: They both failed. Both sides still super far apart, no
- 37:18Speaker 9: end in sight, nothing to see her, folks, So we're
- 37:20Speaker 9: just gonna have to sit back and let the show unfold.
- 37:23Speaker 9: And a blizzard rolled through and hit the east slope
- 37:27Speaker 9: of Mount Everest over the weekend.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Oh my god. I mean, first of all, I think
- 37:32Speaker 1: it would suck to try to climb Everest.
- 37:34Speaker 9: Well, shows, I love these shows.
- 37:39Speaker 1: We're like passing bodies on the way up, and you're going,
- 37:42Speaker 1: why would.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You do that?
- 37:43Speaker 9: What do they call mister green boots? He's like the
- 37:45Speaker 9: famous one, Like, once you passed that guy, you're.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Also to the top.
- 37:48Speaker 8: I mean, I really don't feel too bad for them,
- 37:51Speaker 8: because they knew what they signed up for.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Came to this.
- 37:55Speaker 9: You know, well, nearly a thousand hikers ended up trapped
- 37:58Speaker 9: at about sixteen thousand feet. It caused ten to collapse
- 38:00Speaker 9: and let them stranded. A bunch of them got hypothermia,
- 38:04Speaker 9: and there's a big rescue operation now to save everyone.
- 38:07Speaker 9: About three hundred and fifty of them so far have
- 38:09Speaker 9: been brought down and they're still working on the rest.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Bring sleds, you know, to sled down.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 1: I think it's pretty drama. Wasn't there just somebody one
- 38:17Speaker 1: of the not maybe not Everest, but one of these
- 38:20Speaker 1: like huge mountains like this. Oh yeah, a YouTuber I
- 38:23Speaker 1: think like the K two he or snowboard something just
- 38:27Speaker 1: last week, right, yep. Do you remember what mountain it was? Uh?
- 38:30Speaker 1: It was a thing like that's that's that's a way down.
- 38:32Speaker 1: How do you live? Somebody that Yosemite was It was
- 38:36Speaker 1: bigger El Capitaine. Somebody google it Illinois going.
- 38:45Speaker 9: There's always traffic jams. It's such a popular thing to
- 38:48Speaker 9: do now, like because there's I'm not saying it's easy.
- 38:51Speaker 9: I would never do it, but there are there are
- 38:53Speaker 9: more comfortable ways, let's say, of doing it with oxygen
- 38:56Speaker 9: and with extra help, and so now there are literally
- 38:58Speaker 9: traffic jams that you have to win for other people across.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Semi a YouTuber died on the Alps. That says uh
- 39:06Speaker 1: Andres Boyagil made the first ski descent of Mount Everest
- 39:12Speaker 1: without bottled oxygen September of twenty twenty five. There we
- 39:15Speaker 1: go a feed previously thought impossible. Uh yeah, unless you're
- 39:19Speaker 1: sh Yeah wait, so he didn't die, he didn't. We're
- 39:22Speaker 1: talking about two different people, two different y Summit to
- 39:26Speaker 1: base camp. Somebody tried to do that. Yeah, this guy
- 39:30Speaker 1: first person ski from the summit to the end of
- 39:33Speaker 1: the whatever ice fall without supplemental oxygen. Dude, hell no,
- 39:38Speaker 1: hell no, hell no. Can you chop her to the top?
- 39:43Speaker 1: I can't do that. And finally a big announcement, yesterday,
- 39:48Speaker 1: Rush is back. They rolled out the details for their
- 39:50Speaker 1: fifty something anniversary tour. Geddy Lee and Alex Leisen will
- 39:54Speaker 1: be joined by German Rush. Yeah Russia, I said, Russia. Yeah, Yeah, yes, Russia.
- 40:08Speaker 1: For everybody, it's like, what what do you mean Rush?
- 40:12Speaker 1: Rush the band.
- 40:15Speaker 9: They're gonna have Anika Nillis, who's got a big old
- 40:18Speaker 9: task of sitting in for the late Neil part. The
- 40:21Speaker 9: tour begins June seventh at the Forum in Los Angeles,
- 40:24Speaker 9: which is the last place they played live back in
- 40:26Speaker 9: twenty fifteen, by the way, when part was still alive.
- 40:29Speaker 9: They're also hitting Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, and Toronto.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Rush is back big, Yes, Bobby, Russia is back. Russia
- 40:41Speaker 1: back in full force in the US. So you don't
- 40:45Speaker 1: know how muck you are, boys, Yes, we're fighting bad. Yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 1: Rush Russia's back. You know today?
- 40:52Speaker 5: Sounds mean, ladies, If you want a bunch of single guys.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Fifties guys. You know how to use tools and stuff too, Yeah,
- 41:03Speaker 1: like not these modern men, you know, you see Pat machines.
- 41:06Speaker 1: That's right, all right, thank you very much, Gina grab
- 41:14Speaker 1: the Woody show. All right, welcome back everybody. You all right,
- 41:19Speaker 1: so open phones.
- 41:20Speaker 12: Well, we'll give it a shot.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Let's try it. We'll give it a shot.
- 41:25Speaker 17: Anything you've got, anything you got for us at all,
- 41:28Speaker 17: as long as the FCC will allow us to discuss it,
- 41:31Speaker 17: as long as it's legal for us to discuss no problem.
- 41:36Speaker 1: We can get your calls on the air. Eight seven
- 41:38Speaker 1: seven forty four Woody is phone number. That's eight seven
- 41:42Speaker 1: seven forty four Woody. And let's see. Let's go to
- 41:46Speaker 1: Felix here first. Hey, good morning, Felix. Hey Felix, Hey, Hey,
- 41:51Speaker 1: good morning.
- 41:52Speaker 16: Love you guys, so thank you hearing Sanana Lawrence County.
- 41:55Speaker 16: Just wanted to quickly tell you guys, since since October
- 41:58Speaker 16: about back when I was in Mexico, there's this ghold
- 42:04Speaker 16: story that my grandma would tell about that yourna. I
- 42:06Speaker 16: don't know if you got hurt her.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I heard about her. And they even made
- 42:12Speaker 1: a movie about it.
- 42:12Speaker 16: Right. Yeah, So actually had an experience when I was there,
- 42:17Speaker 16: back when I was probably like twelve, twelve, thirteen years old.
- 42:21Speaker 16: I would hear her at night when I was there.
- 42:24Speaker 16: I just thought i'd share that with you guys.
- 42:28Speaker 1: What did she do? I know, what is it for
- 42:30Speaker 1: those those of us who don't know.
- 42:33Speaker 16: So basically, it's this lady who drowned her children in
- 42:38Speaker 16: the river and at night, you know, people would say
- 42:43Speaker 16: that they can hear her crying after you know, because
- 42:46Speaker 16: she drowned her kids, she probably wasn't mentally stable, but
- 42:49Speaker 16: you know probably so.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Did your grandma share these stories like almost like a
- 42:53Speaker 1: warning to you kids about how you better, like, you know,
- 42:55Speaker 1: keep it on the straight and arrow.
- 42:58Speaker 16: Yeah. Yeah, she would tell us the story like every year.
- 43:03Speaker 16: So because she lived in what they call a pueblo
- 43:06Speaker 16: in Mexico, so it was like in a remote area
- 43:11Speaker 16: and you know, they should tell us all types of
- 43:13Speaker 16: stories back in the day. But one that stuck with
- 43:16Speaker 16: me was that one because I heard her when I
- 43:18Speaker 16: was there and it was insane. I justs still remember
- 43:21Speaker 16: that night.
- 43:21Speaker 1: What did you hear? You just hear the whaling?
- 43:26Speaker 16: And I just knew and I just viewing my head, Like,
- 43:29Speaker 16: you know, when I was laying in bed, it was
- 43:31Speaker 16: super hot. By the way, they have no ac So
- 43:34Speaker 16: I'm like laying down probably like twelve thirteen years old,
- 43:38Speaker 16: and I just hear the whaling, and yeah, that just
- 43:42Speaker 16: freaked me out.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Well, there's obviously an explanation for ninety nine point nine
- 43:47Speaker 1: percent of things, like I was just hearing. I just
- 43:49Speaker 1: heard another story about like whatever this moon sunset thing
- 43:52Speaker 1: that we got going on right now. For there was
- 43:54Speaker 1: like some crazy sunset the other day and all Ofuly
- 43:56Speaker 1: now there's like the super moon and things, and they're like,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you know, there's all these people that believe that this
- 44:01Speaker 1: crazy sunset and the colors of the sunset were like
- 44:04Speaker 1: somehow related to a government shut down in a sign
- 44:08Speaker 1: that it was going to be you know, some of
- 44:10Speaker 1: the government shutdown thing. And then here comes science going Actually,
- 44:14Speaker 1: it's because there's like some kind of like ice layer
- 44:17Speaker 1: and whatever altitude and that like the forms of the
- 44:20Speaker 1: colors of this and this and that combined with whatever
- 44:23Speaker 1: was going on here, which was left over from Hurricane
- 44:26Speaker 1: whatever that was like the outer bands of that, and
- 44:28Speaker 1: that's what created this crazy unique color. And this guy
- 44:31Speaker 1: had nothing to do with signaling the government shutdown and
- 44:34Speaker 1: people are like, nope, nope, definitely, definitely, definitely the government
- 44:39Speaker 1: shut down with this ghost.
- 44:40Speaker 8: There's so many different versions of this story because when
- 44:44Speaker 8: I my first radio station I worked at, we would
- 44:46Speaker 8: always take the new like Street Team Kids as initiation,
- 44:50Speaker 8: at three am to this lake it was called Yeah,
- 44:54Speaker 8: it's called Stow Lake, and there was a statue at
- 44:56Speaker 8: the edge of the lake and it was a lady
- 44:58Speaker 8: with two kids, and we said, oh, this statue appeared
- 45:02Speaker 8: after the two kids drowned in the lake and then
- 45:05Speaker 8: at three am, the statue will move and then so
- 45:07Speaker 8: we had always take him out and scared the new people.
- 45:09Speaker 1: You're going to watch it move. You're going to watch
- 45:10Speaker 1: it move. And then I swear it moved and they
- 45:12Speaker 1: were run back into the car. It's it's possible that
- 45:16Speaker 1: what you heard was something supernatural, or it's just a
- 45:18Speaker 1: neighbor being like yeah, or its taking it really hard.
- 45:22Speaker 1: I mean, there's so much Yeah, I feel like, thank
- 45:25Speaker 1: you for the phone call, appreciate you being part of
- 45:27Speaker 1: what he showed. Here more about how man Menace was
- 45:30Speaker 1: hazing Street Team people. I know, well, no, I thought, hey,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I I swear I saw the statue move myself, but
- 45:35Speaker 1: it happened to me when I got them. This is
- 45:37Speaker 1: this is not a frat something a frat would yeah,
- 45:40Speaker 1: but we were like, yeah, it was just dumber, open family.
- 45:43Speaker 1: It was fun. Eight seven seven that's eight seven seven
- 45:46Speaker 1: forty four. I mean the floor is yours that we
- 45:47Speaker 1: don't know. Whatever you want to call on about. Yeah,
- 45:50Speaker 1: whatever it is you want to call on about. Uh,
- 45:52Speaker 1: you know, he wanted to share this ghost story because
- 45:54Speaker 1: Greg loves all that stuff. We got to Brian, good morning, Brian.
- 45:58Speaker 18: Hey what showy?
- 46:00Speaker 4: Hi?
- 46:01Speaker 1: Brian, no kidding? Hey, So Brian, what do you got
- 46:03Speaker 1: for us?
- 46:05Speaker 18: I just want to say, for over twenty five years,
- 46:07Speaker 18: I love BBW women. That is big, beautiful, thick, over
- 46:12Speaker 18: three hundred pounds women now talking?
- 46:15Speaker 1: Yeah, now, Brian, let me ask you a question because
- 46:19Speaker 1: all right, how tall and how much do you weigh?
- 46:23Speaker 18: I'm five seven about one ninety.
- 46:26Speaker 1: It's always that way. Have you noticed that? Wow? It's
- 46:28Speaker 1: always some like little dude who's with some big giant.
- 46:31Speaker 5: I expected he would way less. So let's talk about why. Yeah,
- 46:35Speaker 5: when did that start?
- 46:36Speaker 13: It's just Roan?
- 46:38Speaker 18: What about twenty five years ago? I was in middle school,
- 46:41Speaker 18: and I've just been attracted to the belly. My wife
- 46:44Speaker 18: has a big butt. My wife has a big butt.
- 46:47Speaker 18: That's why I got together and married her.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well, how like how fat your wife?
- 46:51Speaker 2: Like?
- 46:51Speaker 1: How big is she?
- 46:52Speaker 2: Like? Uh?
- 46:54Speaker 18: Three sixty?
- 46:55Speaker 1: Three sixty? Okay, he is a full circle? Maybe BBW?
- 46:59Speaker 1: Right there? Wait, so I are you a feeder? Do
- 47:03Speaker 1: you do you enjoy giving your food? Okay?
- 47:06Speaker 18: No, I just love the big just the meat, the
- 47:10Speaker 18: big big woman.
- 47:12Speaker 1: Do you like getting crushed at all, like when she
- 47:14Speaker 1: smothers you or anything like that? Yeah, anything like that
- 47:16Speaker 1: because you know people are into that kind of Yeah. See,
- 47:19Speaker 1: I love it. How before you were married, what was
- 47:22Speaker 1: the heaviest woman you were with?
- 47:25Speaker 18: To be honest, three eighty five?
- 47:27Speaker 1: You have a goal like maybe someday like a five
- 47:29Speaker 1: like like a six pound life chick? No, do do
- 47:33Speaker 1: you like tug it to six hundred pound life?
- 47:37Speaker 18: No?
- 47:38Speaker 16: No?
- 47:38Speaker 1: Okay? Nice? All right? You see out you should? Is
- 47:41Speaker 1: it similar minded people? Well, here here's a question. Is
- 47:44Speaker 1: it more I mean three sixty? Maybe not? But like
- 47:46Speaker 1: is it? Uh? Is it more difficult? You must have
- 47:50Speaker 1: like a giant penis? Because like, is it more difficult?
- 47:53Speaker 19: Question?
- 47:53Speaker 1: Tuition?
- 47:54Speaker 2: It.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Yeah, like when it comes to that kind of stuff,
- 47:56Speaker 1: is it more difficult to to make love to ladies
- 47:58Speaker 1: of that size? No? Not at all? No? Really is
- 48:02Speaker 1: she on top? No?
- 48:04Speaker 20: Uh?
- 48:05Speaker 12: Were?
- 48:05Speaker 18: We? We fluctuate, okay, and I even went, I even went,
- 48:11Speaker 18: and I even went a step further, and I even
- 48:14Speaker 18: went a step further. I have to. I have seven
- 48:17Speaker 18: tattoos to full rib pin up and it's big. And
- 48:22Speaker 18: I have two rib tattoos that are pinups A big
- 48:25Speaker 18: b b W big women. Yes, and then I have
- 48:31Speaker 18: I have seven. I have seven total tattoos of just
- 48:35Speaker 18: pin up girls and the words BBW on my knuckles,
- 48:40Speaker 18: on my leg.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Uhh yeah. Somebody on the text is like, dude,
- 48:46Speaker 1: you are the man, So like, yeah, you are? Are
- 48:50Speaker 1: you are?
- 48:50Speaker 16: Brian? Thank you for the call.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Appreciate listening to the Woody Show. Uh, let's say let's
- 48:55Speaker 1: go to Ashley. Good morning, Ashley, open phones. I told
- 48:58Speaker 1: you it's random dude, Rand Ashley, what do you got?
- 49:03Speaker 10: Good morning with his show. I've been a listener to
- 49:09Speaker 10: you guys since middle school actually when my parents would
- 49:14Speaker 10: drop me off.
- 49:15Speaker 21: U irresponsible parents.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they're the.
- 49:19Speaker 10: Most fun middle school through high school in their car
- 49:24Speaker 10: and then obviously once I graduated high school college, I
- 49:28Speaker 10: would listen to you guys my early mornings. I just
- 49:31Speaker 10: wanted to say I recently graduated college. I graduated with
- 49:36Speaker 10: my r N, so I'm a registered nurse.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Now, how's the job market for nurses? We were just
- 49:40Speaker 1: talking about this the other day. Has it Has it
- 49:42Speaker 1: slowed up? Like some people were trying to tell us,
- 49:45Speaker 1: because I thought there was a lot of jobs out
- 49:46Speaker 1: there for nurses.
- 49:49Speaker 10: Yeah, it's pretty brutal right now, especially for new graduate nurses.
- 49:53Speaker 10: So like nurses who recently we were fresh out of college,
- 49:57Speaker 10: no one's really hiring for them. It's mostly just for
- 49:59Speaker 10: the experience nurses. Okay, But luckily I used to well,
- 50:05Speaker 10: I worked at a hospital as a nurse's assistant, so
- 50:10Speaker 10: I was able to get a job right away because
- 50:13Speaker 10: I knew the manager here and I had after for
- 50:15Speaker 10: a job previously. So he's like got my back in
- 50:20Speaker 10: a way, and you got me.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Well, we're gonna call on you at some point. Actually,
- 50:23Speaker 1: because Greg's really trying to get prescribed some weight loss medication.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'm sure you can hook him up with the doctor
- 50:28Speaker 1: or somebody somebody had. Yeah, he needs the hook up.
- 50:30Speaker 1: You have a key to that cabinet, right yeah. Also,
- 50:32Speaker 1: like if we can put it in order, he needs
- 50:35Speaker 1: some klonopin. Yeah, and I want to get the fat
- 50:40Speaker 1: sucked out of my neck.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Yeah. So you know, as you're getting started in your
- 50:43Speaker 1: career and you find people who are you know, willing
- 50:45Speaker 1: to be manipulated this way, just make sure you keep
- 50:48Speaker 1: a note and when we hit you up, you can
- 50:51Speaker 1: kind of setus up. You can be kind of we'll
- 50:53Speaker 1: have a connector have a little code. It just hooked
- 50:56Speaker 1: me up.
- 50:56Speaker 2: Nine.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Ashley, thank you for the call. Appreciate
- 51:01Speaker 1: you listening to the Woodie Showy. Thank you guys, open phones. Eight.
- 51:07Speaker 1: What do you say hi to?
- 51:08Speaker 2: Nick? Hey?
- 51:08Speaker 1: Good morning, Nick? Hey, good morning, Hey, good morning. All right,
- 51:12Speaker 1: what do you got for us?
- 51:15Speaker 16: Okay, So I I used to work at Disney a
- 51:19Speaker 16: while back, and I've dealt with a lot of different
- 51:22Speaker 16: celebrities over that my career there, but the most interesting
- 51:26Speaker 16: and yet not surprising interaction I had was with Leonardo DiCaprio.
- 51:30Speaker 16: Oh yeah, yeah, so this just seeing how he treats
- 51:38Speaker 16: his model girlfriends. At the time, it was really weird.
- 51:42Speaker 16: So this was like right after they opened U post COVID,
- 51:47Speaker 16: but still everybody was wearing less in the park. I'll
- 51:49Speaker 16: try to make this super quick. His girlfriend comes in.
- 51:52Speaker 16: I don't remember who it was at the time, twenty three,
- 51:54Speaker 16: twenty four. It's freezing, she's she's basically wearing a tank top. Yeah,
- 51:59Speaker 16: looking for a her. She's in there for like ten minutes,
- 52:02Speaker 16: and then all of a sudden, this guy comes in
- 52:06Speaker 16: and he basically looks like his face is like completely
- 52:09Speaker 16: covered except like the tiny little foot where you could
- 52:12Speaker 16: see his eyes. He has a beanie like bringing him
- 52:15Speaker 16: by browns and then huge black mask and all I
- 52:17Speaker 16: could see was his eyes and it's you. I was
- 52:20Speaker 16: close enough to hear him just being like what are
- 52:22Speaker 16: you doing? It's like not enough to understand the conversation,
- 52:26Speaker 16: but enough to be like where you could tell he
- 52:27Speaker 16: was just really upset that he was taking She was
- 52:29Speaker 16: thinking so long, and I didn't know who it was
- 52:33Speaker 16: until my manager chime up. He's like who was that?
- 52:35Speaker 16: Like what do you mean? Like, oh, he had two
- 52:37Speaker 16: of those VIP guys with him for some reason. Right
- 52:39Speaker 16: when she said that, it clicks with me and I
- 52:42Speaker 16: saw his eyes, like, oh my god, that was Leonardo
- 52:44Speaker 16: decapitall and it was just it was just yeah, he was.
- 52:49Speaker 16: It was weird, he was. It's just like maybe he
- 52:51Speaker 16: was having an off day. Maybe it was just.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Anybody would do that or not. Like I was waiting
- 53:01Speaker 1: for Menace to jump in, because MENACE's wife takes like
- 53:05Speaker 1: so long to get ready and get out hos Like
- 53:07Speaker 1: Menace has been known to leave her ass behind and
- 53:11Speaker 1: just to get in aud he does. He's like, what's
- 53:17Speaker 1: taken so long? And it could be oh well, I
- 53:19Speaker 1: had to drive my hair whatever. So he went out.
- 53:20Speaker 1: He bought some crazy hair dryer that like sped up
- 53:23Speaker 1: the process. But then once that process got sped up,
- 53:26Speaker 1: then she started taking more time for these other things.
- 53:28Speaker 1: And they're still constantly which makes Menace crazy. Especially Leo's
- 53:31Speaker 1: girlfriend like pick all the sweaters story carrying, Oh yeah,
- 53:37Speaker 1: Leo's a bad guy. He told her to hurry up. Cool.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I would do the same thing. I mean. The craziest
- 53:42Speaker 1: story I mean, not crazy is but like the story
- 53:45Speaker 1: that I heard that I was, you know, just like,
- 53:47Speaker 1: oh my god, give me a break. What a dick
- 53:49Speaker 1: move was When Patrick Mahomes and his wife were at
- 53:52Speaker 1: the park after one of the super bowls and uh,
- 53:56Speaker 1: Brittany mahomes. And she wouldn't speak directly to the Disney staff.
- 54:01Speaker 1: She would mention it to the assistant, who would then
- 54:03Speaker 1: pass the word on to the Disney person. And even
- 54:06Speaker 1: though the Disney person would ask her a question directly,
- 54:09Speaker 1: she would answer the question by telling her assistant manager person,
- 54:13Speaker 1: who would then tell the Disney employee. And I'm like, bitch,
- 54:15Speaker 1: you haven't thrown one touchdown. You've done nothing. And even
- 54:20Speaker 1: if you had, but I'm saying, like, where do you
- 54:23Speaker 1: get off? Even in your own mind, celebrity exactly, like
- 54:29Speaker 1: that's a story. I'm like, you got it? Like man,
- 54:31Speaker 1: and you know, like, hey, can we can we get you?
- 54:34Speaker 16: Get you?
- 54:34Speaker 1: Get you some waters? And she's like, yes, I'll have
- 54:36Speaker 1: a water. Yes, Oh my god, over yourself. Uh, let's
- 54:45Speaker 1: go to Uh, let's see. How about Sparky. One more
- 54:48Speaker 1: call he spark Hey, Sparky, how are you good morning?
- 54:51Speaker 2: Would you show?
- 54:52Speaker 1: How are we doing? You know, random times here with
- 54:54Speaker 1: open phones, We're getting all kinds of stuff. What do
- 54:56Speaker 1: you what do you got for us?
- 54:59Speaker 21: Now?
- 54:59Speaker 1: You got me.
- 55:00Speaker 15: I did a bachelor party this past weekend. It's a
- 55:02Speaker 15: big road trip through Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. I
- 55:06Speaker 15: saw a lot of crazy stuff on the road, of course,
- 55:08Speaker 15: But yesterday, driving back from New Mexico, Gregor loved this one.
- 55:12Speaker 15: Like a Porsche SUV drove by me going like ninety five.
- 55:16Speaker 15: Remember the speed limits seventy five.
- 55:19Speaker 20: Me.
- 55:19Speaker 15: He books that he probably went one fifty. I go
- 55:22Speaker 15: around the bend here, I see a huge dust of smoke, right,
- 55:25Speaker 15: and the cop just pulled out of nowhere and busted
- 55:29Speaker 15: his ass, probably one. I don't know if you got arrested,
- 55:32Speaker 15: but I hope so right, What would you have said
- 55:34Speaker 15: to him?
- 55:35Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, I would have said, Uh,
- 55:41Speaker 1: what would I say if I was the driver?
- 55:44Speaker 2: You know what I was?
- 55:45Speaker 1: You pig? Yeah? See yeah, I bet right. You were
- 55:48Speaker 1: on your phone and I bet you were on your computer.
- 55:51Speaker 1: You get this car, Yeah, to be walking talking, you're
- 55:55Speaker 1: lucky talking right now? Yeah, that donut in your mind,
- 55:59Speaker 1: that citizen. I'm surprised you stopped me midn I wasn't driving,
- 56:06Speaker 1: I was traveling.
- 56:07Speaker 15: Yeah, a billion dollar ticket, let.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Me go get me for a billion dollars.
- 56:14Speaker 15: Then and then so there was an accident too. I
- 56:18Speaker 15: just want to tell you guys about this really quick.
- 56:20Speaker 15: Everybody got to be careful on the road, right, Uh,
- 56:22Speaker 15: I gotta you know, you got your GPS up. It
- 56:24Speaker 15: says the road is closed the head right, and it
- 56:27Speaker 15: it tries to reroute me three hours, right, I'm gonna
- 56:30Speaker 15: get home at like two am. Now I'm like, no,
- 56:32Speaker 15: I'm going through. I'm going through, you know. Then it
- 56:35Speaker 15: comes to a stop, like I thought, like five cars
- 56:38Speaker 15: behind me, r V A bunch of trailers going a
- 56:41Speaker 15: five is an hour probably over the speed limit. Dude,
- 56:44Speaker 15: one trailer hit the other. The damn thing exploded.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Yeah, those things do hold together.
- 56:51Speaker 15: And then you see I'm looking in my roo view
- 56:54Speaker 15: near and then you see another car. It's got a
- 56:56Speaker 15: little trailer on it. It goes right off into the dirt,
- 56:59Speaker 15: goes airborne.
- 57:01Speaker 1: Now, I don't know why you're you're hauling ass like
- 57:04Speaker 1: that when they were together, when you got a trailer
- 57:05Speaker 1: like that. You see those those all the time where
- 57:08Speaker 1: it's like one car after another after another after another.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Like nobody does everybody driveing with their eyes closed? Apparently
- 57:14Speaker 1: next Although I did see a really cool video the
- 57:16Speaker 1: other day where this guy got his tractor trailer stuck
- 57:20Speaker 1: on some train tracks, and I think it was like
- 57:22Speaker 1: a toilet paper truck because this thing, the trailer got
- 57:25Speaker 1: hit and like he said, it looked like it exploded
- 57:28Speaker 1: basically because that was like rolls toilet paper everywhere. But like, yeah,
- 57:34Speaker 1: when you watch it, when you watch a train hit
- 57:35Speaker 1: attractor trailer not the cab, everybody is fine. Everybody lived.
- 57:39Speaker 1: There was there was damage, but it was a pretty
- 57:41Speaker 1: cool video. It's awesome. Yeah, all right, Sparky, thank you
- 57:43Speaker 1: for the call. Uh there you go, guys, open phones
- 57:45Speaker 1: random as head of great idea dude, Yeah, I was
- 57:50Speaker 1: really looking forward to that. We got some more what
- 57:53Speaker 1: you show for you next scow So not an open phone,
- 57:59Speaker 1: but I mean a phone call came into the after
- 58:02Speaker 1: hours voicemail eight seven seven forty four. Woodie, we have
- 58:06Speaker 1: this one ladies, Hey, Woody show.
- 58:08Speaker 21: I have a totally random question. This is for the ladies.
- 58:12Speaker 21: All right, So Sammy Gina Morgan. Yeah, when you shower,
- 58:17Speaker 21: how long are you in the shower? I don't shower
- 58:21Speaker 21: every day. I mean, I you know, rins off the
- 58:24Speaker 21: important parts daily. But I work from home, so nobody
- 58:27Speaker 21: cares what I look like. But I feel like when
- 58:30Speaker 21: I'm in the shower that I'm in there for like
- 58:33Speaker 21: an inordinately long time. And I'm not not even doing
- 58:37Speaker 21: weird stuff like shaving. I'm just I'm just in the
- 58:40Speaker 21: shower for too long. I'm just curious, That's all. I
- 58:42Speaker 21: love you guys. I love your show.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Bye bye bye. All right, So back to like the
- 58:48Speaker 1: dude who called in because you know, chicks taken forever
- 58:51Speaker 1: menace in his ongoing dilemma of his wife taking forever, like, like,
- 58:57Speaker 1: what's going on? I don't understand? Also, like why does
- 58:59Speaker 1: it take women so much longer just to go to
- 59:00Speaker 1: the bathroom in general? Right, Like a guy goes Oh,
- 59:03Speaker 1: I got to say, if two things are equal, you
- 59:06Speaker 1: have to take a leak, right, But you have guy
- 59:08Speaker 1: a girl, they both go in at the same time.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Why is it that, on average, the woman takes so
- 59:13Speaker 1: much longer? Not even I can understand, like slightly longer. Yeah,
- 59:17Speaker 1: add in different clothing and maybe a tamp.
- 59:20Speaker 22: Right, It just depends on the situation because you are
- 59:22Speaker 22: obviously sitting down wiping, doing that whole thing. But like
- 59:25Speaker 22: Gina said, if you're maybe in a romper, or if
- 59:27Speaker 22: you're either all on your period or other stuff, it
- 59:30Speaker 22: just takes longer.
- 59:31Speaker 8: Yeah, But then also my question is you're taking longer
- 59:35Speaker 8: because you feel you have so much time, Like, why
- 59:38Speaker 8: do you feel like it's the end of the world
- 59:39Speaker 8: if you have any buffer time or if you get
- 59:42Speaker 8: there a little bit early, right, I mean.
- 59:44Speaker 1: What's the obsession with being exactly yea to the second? Yeah,
- 59:48Speaker 1: like you a little bit of time left? Why, Like,
- 59:53Speaker 1: what's the problem with being I don't know, five ten minutes?
- 59:55Speaker 1: I don't at the end of the world. Why, Yeah,
- 59:58Speaker 1: I'm with you, guys, that doesn't and apply to me.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: So you mean just getting ready wise, Yeah, because you're
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: taking more time because you feel you have more time.
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: Well, we're taking more time because it takes more time.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: All right, So if you have to shower, get out
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: of the house. Yeah. I don't like hanging out in
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the shower that long. So maybe ten minutes I'm saying,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: but to get ready, like so like from I don't
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: take a shower, Oh, get out, get dressed, and leave
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the house. I'll give myself an hour at least an hour. Yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: oh my god, all right, Sammy, SAME's got to be
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a long gotta dryer hair.
- 1:00:24Speaker 22: Yeah, I'm definitely a long shower. I can go anywhere
- 1:00:27Speaker 22: from fifteen minutes to a half hour, yeah.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: And.
- 1:00:33Speaker 22: Getting ready it can be an hour, Oh my god,
- 1:00:36Speaker 22: depending on if I'm bout druing my hair. Probably I
- 1:00:38Speaker 22: mean probably an hour and a half to be super safe,
- 1:00:40Speaker 22: two hours. And to menaceis to MENACE's point of like,
- 1:00:43Speaker 22: why can't you be ready early? I mean, I guess
- 1:00:46Speaker 22: you can. But then it's because you have more time.
- 1:00:48Speaker 22: Maybe you're gonna try on different outfits and see if
- 1:00:49Speaker 22: there's another one that's cutter, or like maybe I have
- 1:00:51Speaker 22: time to curl my hair now because I have an
- 1:00:53Speaker 22: extra twenty minute and we just back out the time.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Well, we're just at the iHeart Radio music fest and
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: my wife's getting ready, you know, for that evening's festivities,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: and you know, I'm still laying in bed scrolling through Instagram,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: and she goes, aren't you getting ready? We have to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: leave in twenty minutes ago exactly. Yeah. Yeah, And so
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I got up, I showered, I threw some clothes on,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: and then we were out the door two minutes early.
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: Because you don't have long hair and you're not doing makeup,
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: and problem under this is not brain surgery.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well organ, yeah, maybe.
- 1:01:22Speaker 16: You do it.
- 1:01:22Speaker 11: How long do you take the shower could be anywhere
- 1:01:25Speaker 11: from thirty minutes to an hour.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Yeah, no, you spend an hour in the shower.
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: Well, it depends what kind of shower it is.
- 1:01:31Speaker 11: Is it an everything shower where I'm shaving like literally
- 1:01:34Speaker 11: my whole body.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: No, if you's like I'm talking like, you just got
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a shower, get dressed, and then leave the house, grow
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: your hair.
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: On average total time it would take me. An hourer'd
- 1:01:43Speaker 11: probably be about thirty minutes. Sounds we have long hair,
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: we do our makeup.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:01:47Speaker 22: He's so hard to I wasn't in a time crunch
- 1:01:51Speaker 22: recently and I only had five minutes to shower, so
- 1:01:53Speaker 22: I set an alarm so I could get out of
- 1:01:55Speaker 22: the shower on time.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: And I was so rushed it was crazy, and got
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: everything done. Couldn't you just skip the shower? I could have,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: but I really needed one. I couldn't get it. Couldn't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you just gotten away with it for whatever that thing
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: you were just about to go do it and then
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: get home shower and then no.
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: I would still a shower too. Yeah, I can't jump
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: on that argument. But then you just figured out you
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: could do all that in fine.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I could, but it was I mean crunch time.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: I barely got through.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Doing it though. Eight seven seven forty four Woodie wood Show,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: My name is Woody. That is Greg Gory. There's a menace.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I got Gina, Grant Seabats is here. Yeah, you got
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: Sammy Morgan's taken. Your calls. Phones are open eight seven
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: seven forty four. Wooding can send us a text over
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: to two two nine eight seven. I had the whole
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: prison pen pals hot. Gina loves its excited. Yeah, I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: just amazed they're allowed to do it, or they somehow
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to find way to do it. If only they were
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you know, this imaginative and this focused and determined on
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: the outside. It seems like these are the kind of
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: people that if if the effort was applied appropriately, they
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: could probably you know, makes a pretty good contribution to society.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Well some of them are oozing charm. You'll hear it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: That's right. That's not a thing, is it. Yeah, just
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: such a good guy bad guy's crime, right, you know
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: you like you like to I do like that kind
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: of a try. It's like her catnip, totally like grizzled
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: older bad guy. Yeah, Idaho prison pen pals. These are
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: all people looking for love, you guys, are you know,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: just looking for some companionshippanionship and nothing more. They're lonely
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: on the inside. Yeah, and they want to know you
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: from the inside exactly their bunk mates from the inside.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: They want your money. Yeah, So Greg had that, am
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I the a whole question? This dude on social had
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: am I the a whole quiet? Wanted to get your
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: your take on this. There was a new microwave in
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the break room at work, and within a couple of
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: days the people in the office had already broken it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Oh no, because you see the way the people treat
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: stuff even around here. Yeah, nobody takes care of anything.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I treated like garbage. And you always wonder, how do
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you at home? How do you live at home? Right? Well,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you have garbage, you throw it on the floor right here.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: The dumpster is the refrigerator because the food just stays
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: in there for months.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, but medas we have signed on eah refrigerator
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: that says they're cleaning it out every week.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I still see the same spaghetti for three months. Wed
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: And since they can't take care of the stuff, this
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: dude's company wasn't exactly jumping at the chance to get
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: them another microwave. They just got one and you broke
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: it within a matter of days. So he asked the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: co workers, Hey, you guys willing to pitch on a
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: new one. We bought one for the studio. I bought
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: one for the studio here. It was like a hundred bucks. Yeah,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: they're not they're not crazy. You don't have get a
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: crazy one, not suo brick spensive. But they still said no, no,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: they want the chip in. So he went and he
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: bought one himself, and because no one else wanted to
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: chip in, he put a lock on it and he's
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the only one to use it. Oh nice. Okay, So
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: his co worker said he's a jerk. But I don't
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: think he's a jerk. I mean, he didn't want you
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: broke the other one. Nobody wanted the chip in. He
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: really wanted to have a microwave work, so he made
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it happen. Yeah, it's not for you, you didn't want
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: to chip in. I don't think he's a jerk. I
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: think it's funny. It's hilarious something that happened.
- 1:05:24Speaker 9: To Yeah, yeah, I was gonna say seven, how do
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: you feel about this, uh, justice, right, But I mean
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: he's a hole, right.
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: No, I don't think he's a hole, and to one
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: up it, I would probably buy my own and put
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: it right next to it and put a lock on
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: it just to be funny. I wouldn't be offended by it.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: He is an a hole, but he's right, Like it's
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: an a whole move, but he's right.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Asked everybody if they wanted to chip in on it,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: and they said, I know, you don't want to put
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: people might have had to put in like seven bucks
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a year. Yeah, No, I get it. I just think
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it's like, okay, we get it. When he wasn't the
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: one to break the other one, it was all the
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: other monsters in the in the office who just don't
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: take care of things. Those same people don't want to
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: chip in for the new one. You can see where
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: he wouldn't want these people touching this microwave. How do
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you even put a lock on a microwave? Well, I
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: think you had it maybe in a cabinet or something,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: is my guess. He had a locked up kind of
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: Great question, Geena, Because for some reason they changed out
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: our microwave in one of these kitchens here for no
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: good reason. And the one they have now auto locks
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: on completion, so like auto, like, how do you unlock it?
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Then?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Well, there's an unlock button.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: It's very easy, but it's also completely unnecessary and you
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: could probably I don't.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Know they had locks on the actual on the microwave itself,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: there's a lot I mean, not a key lock, but
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: like probably.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: The digital right you're like one little button, this is
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: unlock because would hit to throw something in there?
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: For a minute, I go what And then there's a
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: little key there, like what key?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: What?
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: So is it kind of like uh, when you start
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the like a front front loading washer, the door locks,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: like when you start the washer, oh yeah, and you
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: have to stop yet when then you pause it, you
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: need to add something to pose it and you have
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: to wait for the go click and then you can
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: open the door.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: But you have to press a separate button to open
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: your I've been I've been considering this now for months, like,
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: h what would the purpose of this be?
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: I already know because kids are getting dumber and everyone's
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: getting more litigious, and exactly this is another like child
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: safety degrees exactly, yeah in your hot pocket.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: But even though, Okay, Gina, I see how that could
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: be an inspiration. But if a kid can figure out
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: how to use a microwave, they can figure out.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: What very good point. But I don't know if it's
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: for the kid who put the stuff in the microwave.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Maybe the parents put something in the microwave and the
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: little kid comes around just like, yeah, it starts messing
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: with I don't know, man, and why would we buy
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: that for the office. Well, so in this particular case,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: people were like saying what we are, like, no, this
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: guy's not the a hole, And then there were people
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: who were outraged that nobody thought he was an ahole.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: It's funny, but these are the people who break stuff
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: and don't take care of thing, and then they they
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: just want other people to take care of the problem
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: so they can continue to use and abuse things that
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: they had nothing. They have no skin in the game.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Didn't That's exactly what I was going to say, They
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: have no skin in the game. It's not a hole.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: He's hilarious. Yeahs It's even funnier though, if it's sitting
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: right there on the open counter and they can't open
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it because it's got this this microwave lock. That's pretty
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: that's pretty funny. I'm seeing this.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: It is uh, it's for child child's safety, because you
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: know how when you were a kid, you just died
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: all the time.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Die with noodles, how many skin grass you Someone said
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the hotel is just at the microwave had a button
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: to push to unlock. I felt like an idiot trying
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: to open that thing. Well you should feel like an
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: idiot for putting that feature on. And it's this may
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: be a federal mandate, which God.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Stay off.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Laws off my microwaves. That's how the microwave probably got broken.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Somebody was trying to rip the door open.
- 1:08:57Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Maybe how do you even break them? Microy put tinfoil
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: in it. Yeah, they'll put all kinds of stuff you're
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: not supposed to put in them. Yeah, maybe they put
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: you too hard. Yeah we did that on purpose. Six
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Star Wars eight seven, seven forty four Woodie text over
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: to two to ninety seven. You got the Idaho prison
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: pen palace thing ready to go loaded. Baby, all right,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: So these are ill be Maybe we'll make a love
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: connection here. It be nice. Maybe you'll you'll find your
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: new boo. Yeah, yeah, I can't wait. Benji maybe we'll
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: find you a girlfriend the other Do ladies do this
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: too or is it just the dudes? Every so often
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: they put a ladies one in. But she's just she's like, hey,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I just said, you know, come j pal me put
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: a little money on the books. I'm breathing. Yes, the
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: guys have to like sing and they work for it
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: and do stuff all right anyway, So that's next. Idaho
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Prison pen Pals. After the break here on the Woody Show, he.
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: Took a dollar of mayonnaise, slapped it down on the
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: leather couch and stuck his fare butt on it and
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: like if wiggled it around, weigled it around.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: We'll be right back.
- 1:10:05Speaker 16: So much.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: So many different avenues for entertainment between you know, traditional television,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: all the streaming stuff them also includes the things that
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you find like on social media. And one of the
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: things that Gina said that she was all about and
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: she's the one that introduced us to it. I had
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: never heard of this before, but Idaho Prison pen Pals. Yeah,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: they're the best because you know, she likes all the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: true crime stuff.
- 1:10:31Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Prison Ian Craig's brought up that she's attracted to the
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: bad boys. She is Yeah, they do anyway. So these
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: are these are guys that are they're in jail in Idaho. Yeah,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: they're Idaho prison inmates.
- 1:10:42Speaker 9: Yeah, they're at the correctional facility. And they they want
- 1:10:45Speaker 9: to reach out to the community. They want to spread
- 1:10:47Speaker 9: their wings and get to know all of us. So
- 1:10:50Speaker 9: they put these little videos together and in the hopes
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: that somebody will write them back. So first, let's meet
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: our new buddy, Devin Elmore. He thinks a fun little
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: joke is the best way to introduce himself.
- 1:11:01Speaker 13: Joke for you, you ever heard of duck meat sausage? You
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: ever tried it? You say, no, duck down and get
- 1:11:07Speaker 13: some gave me up if you like corny jokes and
- 1:11:12Speaker 13: uh that good time chilling out here in Ideaho. Tell
- 1:11:15Speaker 13: me a little bit about yourself and send a prepaid.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Here being bored.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you say, that's what you're doing. You're just chilling
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: out in Idaho.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Ideo.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: It is ICP related. Can you explain that joke? No
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: joke for you?
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: You ever heard of duck meat sausage?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Duck meat sausage heard of? Have you ever heard of
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: duck heat sausage?
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: You ever tried it?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Never tried it say no, duck down? So oh so
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: basically my d yeah, down the duck down and get
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you some right.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: Sausage if you're ducking you meat sausage.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Yeah, terrible. I understand why he's involved. Do we know
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: why he's well, you are going to guess why he's
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: in prison.
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: Three guesses why Devin Elmore is in prison right now?
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Criminally bad jokes? That is it? Arson? Okay? Aggravated assault
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: or kidnapping? Oh easy, aggravated assault, Arson, aggravated assault or
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: kid That's.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: A dude who thinks he's real funny and he doesn't
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: like being disrespected, especially out of in public at a bar.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Perhaps they can also hear like the weird energy he's got,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: so like maybe like an ADHD kind of like going on.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Can see that and maybe like if you actually had
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: the time to mentally stop down, slow down, think about it,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: he wouldn't have done that. But it was just kind
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: of impulsive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Kidnapping is a
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: close second, though. I was I was thinking between arson
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: and the aggravated but I'm gonna go aggravated assault. Okay,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: everybody's at I'm gonna say arson okay, because you can
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: you can back your way into kidnapping.
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: Accidentally, you steal a car, there's a kid in the
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: that's one way.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: Well, the correct answer for Devin Elmore he in prison
- 1:13:00Speaker 9: because of aggravated assault.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: That was the way you talked through. That made a
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: lot of sense. Very good, you hear it.
- 1:13:07Speaker 9: Yeah, so far off to a good start. Well let's
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: move on to or Hey Lopez. This guy has a
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: silky smooth voice and like Sea Bass, wants you to
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: know he's a thousand percent.
- 1:13:17Speaker 20: Oh sweet, you ain't gotta say too much from the
- 1:13:21Speaker 20: King A good thing. You want to hit me, you
- 1:13:25Speaker 20: ain't gotta call me your fell And just as bad
- 1:13:27Speaker 20: as you want to talk, I want to talk to.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Listen, no creepy, no where.
- 1:13:34Speaker 20: I want women only and we straight as a hair
- 1:13:36Speaker 20: over her.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: You Yeah, yeah, that original song You ain't gotta call
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: me You're felling feeling really a beautiful song.
- 1:13:44Speaker 20: You ain't gotta say too much from the King good.
- 1:13:48Speaker 20: You want to hit me, you ain't gotta call me
- 1:13:51Speaker 20: your fell And just as bad as you want to talk,
- 1:13:53Speaker 20: I want to talk to.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: His whole rhythm is off. He's not he's not he's
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: not a word.
- 1:14:01Speaker 9: It reminds me of the guys, the defendants in court,
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: like do you have anything saying?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: They're like to the person.
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: The hood, Like, okay, you might know the reference here.
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: That was from master P presents the five O four Boys.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: What I can tell really that wasn't that original?
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: Are you serious?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: You don't you know that?
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: You know the five four I know the song? Yes, yeah,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: hip hop? Get out of the way.
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: You got to say the original words are you? Ain't
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: got to say too much for you. Look in your eyes.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: I can tell you want to fight. You gotta call
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: me your boo just as bad as you want to f.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: I want to f too. It was about to get
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: undue credit. I'm super random because like you know, you
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: played Doctor Dre the Chronic And and then Sam was like,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: what song is this? She's like, master P, I guess
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I know the song.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: I could have told you who's saying it?
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, full surprise.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: He wants ladies.
- 1:14:56Speaker 22: And he changed the words to hit me up and
- 1:14:58Speaker 22: not f because you know he's a nice a general.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I mean, I did see you eating wraps, all right.
- 1:15:06Speaker 9: Why he is in prison is Hory Lopez in prison
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: for possession of controlled substance, identity theft, or shoplifting exceeding
- 1:15:15Speaker 9: five thousand dollars.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Let's do shoplifting. Give me the options one more time.
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: Possession of a controlled substance, maybe identity theft, No shoplifting
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: exceeding five thousand dollars possible.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I'm going one. Possession, possession shoplifting. Yeah, it's either one
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: or three. Yeah.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Three.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: He was the organizer of a big ring of shoplift, Yeah,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: from home depots or something. Still, all tell me, all.
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: Right, final answer? Okay, Wood, you crush at this game.
- 1:15:44Speaker 9: He is in prison for possession of a controlled substance.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: Well, hopefully there's more because we're about to meet John mcguira.
- 1:15:52Speaker 16: All right.
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: He's an out of the box thinker when it comes
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: to protecting our borders.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Okay, here is John, an Idaho prison pen pal for
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: the wall.
- 1:16:01Speaker 14: Okay, I've got a team of signed his right now
- 1:16:03Speaker 14: tracking Bigfoot.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: We're gonna catch Bigfoot, a lady.
- 1:16:07Speaker 14: Bigfoot, and we're gonna make baby bigfoots. Put them all
- 1:16:11Speaker 14: up and down the wall, little Bigfoot huts. Okay, you
- 1:16:14Speaker 14: think twice before you bring your bad people into our country. Okay,
- 1:16:19Speaker 14: I mean.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: What so he just kinds it's more of a platform
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: he's campaigning, try out his open mic materia exactly.
- 1:16:29Speaker 9: So let's comedians, dude, yea, Let's see if we can
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: figure out why John is in prison. Is it eluding
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: a police officer and a motor vehicle solicitation of a
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: prostitute or vandalism number one?
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't go to prison too much for vandalism.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: So it's just solution for the wall. Okay. I've got
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: a team of signed his right now tracking Bigfoot. We're
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: gonna catch Bigfoot, a.
- 1:16:57Speaker 14: Lady Bigfoot, and we're gonna make baby bigfoots.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Put them all up and down the wall.
- 1:17:03Speaker 9: So I don't get a prostitution e louting a police
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: officer in a motor vehicle, solicitation of a prostitute or vandalism.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Number one for sure. But he's still in jail after
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: like eluting the cops. I guess what whatever you were
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: running from. Gotta keep him he's too funny. Solicitation of
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: prostitution or he's still in jail. I don't get prostitute vibe.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: This one's tough. Nothing's jumping out of me. Do you
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: go to jail for prostitution. You have to be like,
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: it has to be your tenth offense.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: You got to be running hose. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: You got like aim, I don't get Yeah, what are
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: your guess is? Greg? I'm gonna go with because it's
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: random vandalism, sway me, what do you got? Number one?
- 1:17:44Speaker 22: Number one also going vandalism for summers because it seems
- 1:17:48Speaker 22: like a weird guy.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Maybe he did enough damage it was like a protest. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I'll say I'm gonna go with the looting. And he's
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: in jail. Good more for I mean, that was just
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: aggravated the situation. But whatever he was running, what criming
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: into the chasing him in the first place, aggravated a looting,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: aggravated a looting.
- 1:18:09Speaker 9: Wood He cannot be stopped in a motor vehicle, and
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: now do you know what he did.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: They're trying to pull him over in the first place?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Was suspect? Was it just for speeding and he wouldn't
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: stop it.
- 1:18:22Speaker 9: It could have been you know a Californi year role,
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: you know the stop sign, but he just kept driving.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: All right, all right, let's keep going.
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: We have two more. Let's meet Jamie Joyce. He compares
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: his lady to eyewear.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Here's Jamie Joyce.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: I like my girl the.
- 1:18:36Speaker 23: Way I like my glasses, slim but thinking all the
- 1:18:39Speaker 23: right spots.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: And I can see you sit on my face.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: All right? Oh good? One liner yeah or two liner? Yeah?
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: All right? What are the options?
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: Stalking, involuntary manslaughter, stalking, a possession of a controlled substance.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: I mean I already heard stalking. I like my girl
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: the way I like my glasses, slim but thinking all splash,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: sit on my face, I like like I like my
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: girls running away from me. Trump, you said stalking with ye,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: I'm glombing on because you were winning. Yeah, it just
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: jumped out and like I got a really strong gut
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: feeling on that one. Okay, but watch it be wrong.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I like my girl like a girl with her doors unlocked.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Yeah all right, And the answer is the answer is
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: possession of such a catchup damn? All right? The one
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: last one? All right, you got it. Uh, let's get
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: to Javier A. Roseco.
- 1:19:34Speaker 9: Pretty straightforward. He wants to just tell you straight what
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: he's looking for.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Okay, bang my line.
- 1:19:40Speaker 19: If you're trying to talk don't hit me up if
- 1:19:42Speaker 19: you ain't really trying to talk, get to know me,
- 1:19:44Speaker 19: trying to deal with that and no more, and bang
- 1:19:46Speaker 19: my line if you want to bang my line. Yeah,
- 1:19:48Speaker 19: if you're me, bang my line on twenty.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Three Jesus Wow, yeah, bang his line, like, bang my line?
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: All right, So hit me up, bang my line, okay,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: or you know, f with me. I want to make
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: it a call to like a company on something I
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: needed to call me back. Hey, bang my line? Yeah,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: all right? See is he locked up for tax evasion?
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Does he have a job we don't know?
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: Disturbing the peace? Controlled substance and assault?
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Controlled substance and controlled substance is an agreement on that
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: he sounds dumb? Yes, yeah, agree, okay, so no tax
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: evasion final answer, I think no job. Javier is in
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: prison for controlled substance and assault. Yeah damn good. What's
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: what's the just Idaho prison pen.
- 1:20:42Speaker 9: Whole prison pen pals? And is the Idaho Correctional Institute.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: And is there a direct link on there where they can.
- 1:20:50Speaker 9: It's all aggregated to this Instagram account, to the idea
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: prison pen Pals account because.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: They're not quote unquote supposed to be doing this. It's
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: not encouraged, but it finds a way. Okay, like if
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you really kind of felt a connection there in some way,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Shatform look him up on the Instagram and then hit
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: up the Jason. That's what more Woody show is next
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: SoC Sports with the g Jeff of course. Yeah, speaking
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: of the Dodgers, I don't think so Cal Sports. Good morning, Jeff,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: g yea morning. What are you ain't good morning, squad.
- 1:21:19Speaker 23: Dodgers are up to nothing in the NLDS. Here's the
- 1:21:22Speaker 23: big seventh inning that got it done for the Dodgers.
- 1:21:25Speaker 12: Breaks his pat and coming to the plate hurt and
- 1:21:27Speaker 12: as the throat of the plate at the time, dude
- 1:21:30Speaker 12: will Smith first ball, swinging line, dried down base hit.
- 1:21:33Speaker 12: Oh Toddy hits it sharply through for a base hit
- 1:21:36Speaker 12: and the Dodgers are rolling offensively now.
- 1:21:39Speaker 23: But of course the Dodgers bullpen made it interesting. Dave
- 1:21:42Speaker 23: Roberts made a stupid ass move bringing in Blake trying
- 1:21:45Speaker 23: to close it out. Here he is explaining why he
- 1:21:48Speaker 23: did that and almost gave all of us a heart attack.
- 1:21:50Speaker 23: You know, Blake's pitched some of the biggest outs innings
- 1:21:53Speaker 23: in the postseason for US and felt really confident right there. Now.
- 1:21:57Speaker 23: Sure Blake Trynon has pitched some high leverage postseason James,
- 1:22:00Speaker 23: but he's not the same picture he was before. The
- 1:22:03Speaker 23: Dodgers found their closer in Roki Sasaki. Let's stick with that,
- 1:22:06Speaker 23: Dave Roberts instead of trying to be cute. Now, the
- 1:22:09Speaker 23: Dodgers can close out their series with the Phillies tomorrow,
- 1:22:12Speaker 23: and of course The Woody Show has your tickets. Tap
- 1:22:14Speaker 23: in at seven and eight to get in that suite.
- 1:22:16Speaker 23: NFL Chargers' injury problems continue. Running back O mari and
- 1:22:20Speaker 23: Hampton is going to be out for at.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Least a month. Man, this team is cursed.
- 1:22:24Speaker 16: Bro.
- 1:22:25Speaker 23: Monday Night Football from last night, Trevor Lawrence fell down,
- 1:22:27Speaker 23: got up, ran it in for a last second touchdown,
- 1:22:30Speaker 23: and the Jaguars beat the Chiefs. Last night got an
- 1:22:33Speaker 23: update in the Mark Sanchez case.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: He's facing fell and.
- 1:22:36Speaker 23: He charges and the guy he beat the crap out
- 1:22:38Speaker 23: of is now suing Mark Sanchez and Fox Sports. And
- 1:22:42Speaker 23: finally this morning, Lebron James has a big announcement at
- 1:22:45Speaker 23: nine am this morning.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: He is calling it the Decision two.
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: What do you mention it?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Last week?
- 1:22:50Speaker 23: You don't want to have to hear all the retirement
- 1:22:52Speaker 23: rumors this season.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: This may be it, but I doubt it. Something tells
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: me it's just a marketing employee.
- 1:22:58Speaker 23: We'll see in about hour what Lebron James has to say.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I'm Jeff G.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: And that's your SoCal.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Sports all right, Jeff shoo, everybody show, all right, welcome back.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: So this guy he uh, he won a million bucks
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: on a scratcher ticket and this like a few months ago,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: and he's been partying Hella hearts in the last three months.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you How hard has he partied? Well, he
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: woke up one morning and he couldn't walk, and he
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: couldn't breathe, and he ended up getting rushed to the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: hospital and the doctors told him that his excessive partying
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: led to a bilateral pulmonary embolism aka blood clots in
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: the lungs. That's how you do it. And so the
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: good news is he's going to live. The bad news
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: it's like a six to nine month recovery. And the
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: guy says it's given him a new outlook on life.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: It's like, dude, calm down, your medical bills will be
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: a million dollars. One of the hundreds of people who
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: have better off without winning. Now this is this is England.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I'm not sure. How's their healthcare system? Do you pay university?
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Is it universal? You don't, you don't pay, you pay
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: TAXI But you're pying. But what I'm saying is like
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: when you go you don't get a bill from the doctor. Right? Good,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: great question. I have no idea. You know, I'm not
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: a big international game. Do have universal healthcare? Okay? Google? Right?
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Like whatevers?
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: You know?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Ye, medical bills, medical bills you want? But yeah, you want,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: you want a million dollars. Calm down, it's cool. I mean,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: who wouldn't take a million bucks fun? You know who?
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Also is partying pretty hard? Uh? This substitute teacher in
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Vermont in the news. One of the kids knew something
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: was off, so they told the principal. Principal pulls the
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: teacher out of the class and asks her if she's okay,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and she said that she was great thanks to the
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: cocaine that she had not only in her system but
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: in her jacket. And the cops called and they found
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: even more coke in her backpack. She was arrested and
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: so fired. Oh is there a snitching box at your
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: kid's school. Have you heard about this?
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: What?
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:25:13Speaker 8: I heard like this report where there's like these new
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: snitching boxes where kids can write notes and then you know,
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: whistle blowers, Yeah, and just drop them in.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Yeah the gossip girl. Yeah, I'm not sure. In Canada,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: this guy, he was going down the highway pretty late
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: at night. He was becoming increasingly paranoid, so he got
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: so scared he called the cops to tell him that
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: he was being followed by another car, and the cops
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: they they found the guy. They pulled him over and
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: they noticed that, hey, man, you're the only car on
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: the road. They also noticed that the driver was showing
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: paranoid behavior due to the smell of some freshly burnt
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: weed that was coming from the car. Turns out the
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: guy had gotten so high that he thought he was
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: being followed the entire time, and there was there was
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: nothing there to begin with. It happened, so he was arrested.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: They charged him with operating a motor vehicle while being
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: impaired by a drug, which is the thing. I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: this menace aliens, right, Yeah, he was being followed, that's
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: for damn. I love those stories of the guys who
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: get so high they call the cops, or what about
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: the cops that they were cops themselves, right, they got
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: so high and they had the brownies. Yes, yeah, and
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: they called the cops because they thought they were dying.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: I don't believe like I believe.
- 1:26:24Speaker 8: I mean, if you get really really high, yes you
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: get paranoid, but you always get paranoid about yourself, like
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: you're gonna die, like that you have a heart attack
- 1:26:33Speaker 8: or something like that. The cops, yes, they believe. But
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: the story about oh I'm being followed, like, I don't know.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: I don't relate to that. The one time I got
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: mega high at a hotel room, I thought there were
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: ghosts in the room because footsteps. No, it's always like
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: self inflicted things. I think that are going to happen.
- 1:26:51Speaker 10: You do.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Maybe, Yeah, I've had the external paranoia too. Yeah, but
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: that's your baseline, like always, here's here's those here the
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: cops they called itency.
- 1:27:06Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: Can you please send rescue. I think I'm having an
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: overdose at the school as my wife over knows of
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: what marijuana. Okay, you please send rescue.
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: Can you guys been drinking today too?
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: Please?
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: Come okay, I think we're dying.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: Okay, how much did you guys have?
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: We made brownies, my wife and I did.
- 1:27:31Speaker 20: Do you know how much you put in the brownie?
- 1:27:33Speaker 4: I don't just please send rescue. Yeah, she's sitting, she's
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: kneeling down in front of me. Okay, I know we
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: have to wait.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: Did you guys get anything else today besides marijuana?
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: No, that's it, But I don't know what was it.
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: The marijuana could have been there could have been something
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: into marijuana.
- 1:27:52Speaker 16: Are you telling me?
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: I don't know what?
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: Are you?
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Anyway, so.
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: Our friend Robins and she gave me some banana bread, dude,
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: and I was at that level.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I came one with death though. I was like,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: all right, well it's my time. This is before everybody
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: had this stuff legal and had dispensaries and things. So
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: it was the pre otions director of the radio station.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: She had a side business where she baked edibles like
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: brownies and banana cake. And they they would wreck you too,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they would wreck She gave me some brownies
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: for my birthday in my thirtieth birthday, and I was
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: at home when I had one of those things and
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: I ate the entire thing. I didn't leave the house
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: while Sunday she gave me that, and I went to
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: a Cypress Hill show and I felt like they were
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: singing in my ear. Pretty crazy. Four Wooding. You can
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: hit us up with the text over to two two
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: nine eight seven. This is the Woody Show. Well, it's
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: time to talk some tech. Everybody. Yeah, tech, and let's
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: go to rich de muro. He is a tech reporter.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: He is the host of the rich On Tech radio show.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: He is the tech reporter for k t L, a
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: television in Los Angeles. Any other credentials I'm missing? Rich
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: I write a newsletter, he writes it. Yeah, the newsletter
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: is part of the radio show and everything else, though, right,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: I mean kind of like a sublement technically.
- 1:29:18Speaker 16: I mean it thing.
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: Well, it is its own thing technically, but you know,
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: it's a nice companion.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: I call it to the radio show in TV. All right,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: subscribe to Richard. It's free. It's a free newsletter. Just
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: go to rich on Tech dot tv. You can also
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: find them on social media at rich on Tech. It's
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: rich everybody. Can I add one more thing?
- 1:29:41Speaker 16: Thanks?
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Much taller in person. I don't think TV does do
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: just how tall are you? You're like, what six? I'm sick.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: I'm kind of a skinny six so people think I'm
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: taller than I.
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: I'm just a standard six foot.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:56Speaker 8: TV always thought you were a little guy.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: That's because he's skinny.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm goin everything. I'm going to tell the lighting people, yes,
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: height like we we are as wide as rich as tall.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: So all right, So it's always.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: Good to have a go to person when it comes
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: to tech, especially for somebody like Greg it doesn't know
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: a lot about tech. But the good thing and what
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: we like about Rich in the way that he handles
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: this stuff, it's it's consumer tech. So it's not like
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: tech reports for tech people. It's tech stuff for the
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: average person. Things that you might find useful or things
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: you maybe didn't know about or that you should know about.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: And that's what the rich always has to tell us.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: And I know you are doing a lot of posting
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: right now because you know the Amazon Prime Day thing
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: is happening, and it's it's kind of confusing. I did
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: see something this uh this morning about so basically Amazon,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: if you're gonna do the Prime Day or Black Friday.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: I think it was Black Friday. If you're going to
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: set a Black Friday price, it has to be an
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: average of something from your last six months of whatever
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: the price was for that item. So what they'll do
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: a lot of Amazon retailers is they'll jack the price
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: up November first, October first, So they say don't buy
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: anything in the month of October on Amazon because that's
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: where they artificially inflate the price so that they can
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: use it to give you a big discount quote unquote
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: on Black Friday, which is basically just their normal price. Yes,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: do you know anything about that? Okay? Rich, Like, I'm
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: sure I'm not explaining it as eloquently as you will.
- 1:31:27Speaker 3: Amazon prices changed on a daily basis, So the I
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: have two tricks to help you figure out if a
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: deal is a deal because Prime Day now number one,
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: seems like it's every day of the year because they
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: do this so often now, but it is running today
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: and tomorrow, October seventh and eighth, and so two ways
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: to look to see if a deal is a deal,
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: because you cannot trust what Amazon says about the price
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: discounts because like you said, it could be off the
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: price that they never charged the original price.
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: I mean the MSRP.
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: You want to make sure you're a lower price than
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: the product is typically on sale.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Two ways to do that.
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: Number one, Amazon has it built into their website and
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: nobody knows about this. When you go to the page
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: of the product you're looking for, there's this little AI
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: assistant called rufus. You can tap rufus and it says
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: ask something else, and then just type in price history
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: and it will show you a graph of thirty days
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: and ninety days of the price on Amazon. I can
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: tell this thing. I've been watching this travel pillow. I
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: know it's so silly, but it sells for fifty five bucks.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: It is not gone on sale since the last Prime
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: Day when it went on sale for forty three dollars.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: So if it goes anywhere under forty three bucks, I
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: know I have a deal. The other tip I give
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: for Amazon Prime Day is this site. It's an Amazon site,
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: but it's Amazon dot com slash by again. This is
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: going to bring up a list of all of this stuff,
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: for better or for worse, that you've purchased on Amazon.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: You's had a lot this stuff because I got to
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: know this is cool. Now I'm out of it, or
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I want to buy it again.
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I use that a lot, right, And so that's
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: a good one because you can just look through that
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: list and see if there's a red banner and that
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: will tell you if a product has gone on sale
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: that you're always getting, like for me, you know, like
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: this hydration drinks or whatever you're buying over and over,
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: it might be a better deal.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: We're talking to Richard. You are a rich On Tech,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: So a little Prime Day cheat sheet. I'm assuming that's
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: on your newsletter as well, right, like people want to
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: get more info about that. Yeah, Prime Day is on there.
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: People love to talk about Prime Day. Oh yeah, so
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: rich On ten of those things. We're all doing it,
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: we're all shopping, so it's very popular. What else is
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: happened that we should know about? Okay, so I think
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: this is interesting. I know this is kind of dorky.
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: It is kind of not the most exciting thing in
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: the world. A great great segue by the but Windows
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: ten is is there's no more support for Windows ten
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: as of October fourteenth, twenty twenty five. So you have
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: three options if you're still running Windows ten on your
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: how do you know if you're running Windows ten, press
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: that Windows start key on your computer. If the menu
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: pops up on the left side of your screen, you
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: are running Windows ten and you gotta do something by
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: October fourteenth. If your menu comes up in the middle
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: of your screen, you're on Windows eleven. Everything's fine, don't
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: worry about it. But if you're on Windows ten, you
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: either have to upgrade your machine to Windows eleven you've
- 1:34:21Speaker 3: got to buy a new machine. Who wants to do
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: those two things? So the third thing is to do
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: what every good American does. Procrastin eight for another year. Wait,
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: and so you can go into Windows Update and enroll
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: in what's called Extended Security Updates, and that will give
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: you one more year of Windows ten so your computer
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: doesn't get hacked or anything like that. And it's all free.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: You just have to go in there and sign up
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: for it.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: It's the thing we're talking about last week, guys about
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: even when it comes to Microsoft Office, like nobody owns
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: anything anymore, you're leasing it. Yeah, So like you all
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: this stuff you have paid for a month by month
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: or we have to eventually, you see, you can't just
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: you know, have something and just popish the ke I mean,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: I actually couldn't You couldn't use till breaks, right, I mean,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: just could use until you can't go until you would
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: need support, and they go up tough, Yeah, gotta move on.
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you're just putting yourself at risk because the problem
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: is once Microsoft stops putting out software updates or security updates,
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: the hackers look for vulnerabilities and then they capitalize on those,
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: and that is what you do not want.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: We got Rich on Tech telling us about the latest
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: in the world of tech. I think we should talk
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: about this Ring search party. Have you heard about this
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: feature that they're using ring cameras now to find lost pets?
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:35:32Speaker 8: No, well I always see them in like the neighborhood
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: tab on the Ring Like, so if you have Ring all,
- 1:35:39Speaker 8: show like videos that people posted in your neighbor Oh,
- 1:35:42Speaker 8: talk about this before, but it's mainly always pets.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: On there, almost always. Yeah. Yeah, so that's why they
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: came out with this feature.
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: They said that they a million lost pet posts every
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: year just on that neighbors app. But here's the new
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: thing they're doing, which is kind of wild. They're gonna
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: use AI. So let's say I post a picture of
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: my lost dog in that app. They will use AI
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: to scan my neighbor's camera footage all the ring cameras
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: in my neighborhood to see if my dog shows up
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: on their video, and if it does, my neighbor will
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: get a notification that says, hey, Rich's dog was spotted
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: in your backyard. Will you share this video in your location.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: With them so that they can this dog. They're using
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: pets to soften it for the public, but this is
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: definitely for people badly.
- 1:36:31Speaker 12: Weird.
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: You know, like it's searching other.
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: Because who doesn't want to find a lost dog? Yeah, searching.
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: Now imagine if they same story but they say people's
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: faces about it and people, but the pet thing softens.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: This is the way to get around a subpoena or
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: a warrant.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, so this is so they're starting with pets.
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: They said they're gonna do dogs first, and then they're
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: gonna do cats and then other animals and then the owners.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: Right exactly, because you're in your backyard and I'm not
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: against it, just don't do bad thing, and you know
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: you're true.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: Uh well, but think think about the future of Literally
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: the police want to find someone and they just say, here,
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: upload this picture to the ring camera and it's like boom,
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: we can find them in like ten seconds nationwide.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Yep, that's crazy. I'm kind of okay with it. That's
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: also a positive twist to it, right, Yeah, you know
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: it's look at its naked and as you are, right, and.
- 1:37:24Speaker 8: This stuff already kind of exists. Yeah, they just don't
- 1:37:27Speaker 8: really talk about it publicly, but now it's just it.
- 1:37:29Speaker 8: It will just increase the amount of cameras they have
- 1:37:31Speaker 8: access to.
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: Rich the mirror rich on Tech. I didn't want to ask.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: I saw you you mentioned something about it, like the
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: T Mobile satellite texting thing, like You've got a chance
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: to test it, because I know Apple, every once in
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: a while it'll pop up if I'm out of like
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: a range of service, It'll just say like so os yes,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: and so you can still put like an emergency textro.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: I'm always wondering, like how well does that really work?
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: Okay, So in the past couple of weeks I tested
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: both the Apple satellite feature and the T mobile one
- 1:37:57Speaker 3: and I will tell you T Mobile will blows away
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: what is built into the iPhone, like in a way
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: that I can't even describe, but I will try to.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: So if you're.
- 1:38:07Speaker 3: Out in the middle of nowhere and your phone says
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: SOS does not mean satellite. SOS just means you can
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: call nine one one. If you see a satellite icon
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: on your iPhone, that means you have access to the
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: satellite in that area.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: Because maybe whatever says SOS, there always is the little
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: satellite icontext to it, And I thought that was just
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: all part of the same thing.
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: Yeah, so SOS could be there without the satellite, or
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: the satellite would be there with SOS. So that's just
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: a just a little thing to know for the future.
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: But basically, when you're trying to access the satellite that's
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: built into the iPhone, you've got to hold your iPhone
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: out in the middle of a like an open sky,
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: and it takes like a while for you to lock
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: onto the satellite, send your your tiny message through or
- 1:38:48Speaker 3: through I Message, and then wait for a receiving of
- 1:38:52Speaker 3: that message like back, so someone if they text you back,
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: you don't get a notification necessarily, so it's a very
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: long involved process. But at the same time, if you're
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: in the middle of nowhere you need help, you can
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: get it.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: So that's really NICETI right.
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: You will wait, Yes, well, you have no choice because
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: your leg is broken, right, you're sitting there.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: Yeah, just hope you're yes. But the Tea Mobile one's
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: much better. Tea Mobile one unbelievable.
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: You literally just you'll see sat Sat in the corner
- 1:39:22Speaker 3: of your phone and it just stays connected the whole time,
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: and so you can send messages back and forth just
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: like you would text regularly. You can also use this
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: for data for Google Maps, all trails, ACU Weather, WhatsApp,
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: even video on WhatsApp.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: And voice, which is just wild.
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: So it's a much And the reason why it works
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: so differently is because they're using two different satellite networks, right.
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: T Mobile is using Starlar Lunch has hundreds of satellites, right,
- 1:39:49Speaker 3: whereas the iPhone is only using their own thing, Global
- 1:39:55Speaker 3: Star I think it's called, which just has a handful
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: of satellites. So the coverage you literally have to for
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: a satellite to pass over Earth for your connection to
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: happen on the iPhone versus T Mobile, there's always all
- 1:40:06Speaker 3: these satellites up above with the Starlink network.
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: Yeah, the Starlink thing is great, man. I got Starlink
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: for the house now. I also have a Starlink Mini
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: and it's it's quick, man, It's it's fast. I love it.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: It's it's definitely worth it.
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: This T Mobile satellite is built into their top of
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: the line plans, Like if you're paying like one hundred
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: bucks a month, you probably have it.
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: If you have Verizon or Tea or at and T
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: you can actually add it to your phone. That's what
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: I did.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: Oh I'm just paying ten bucks a month. Yeah, I
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: have at my I'm looking at my phone right now.
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: It's running both T Mobile and Verizon at the same
- 1:40:36Speaker 3: time time.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: So I have T Mobile and I'm like, what is
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: he talking about? So maybe I'm not Tier. Probably not.
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: It depends call T Mobile and ask because I think
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: if you hike or you're out in the middle of
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: nowhere for any reason ever.
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: This is like like wild it must have. But also
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: like the Verizon you said, you can add it for
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: like ten bucks a month, but that's on their slower
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: satellite system. It's not like because they don't they don't
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: have a deal with Starlink.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: You can add T Mobile to your variety run Yeah,
- 1:41:04Speaker 3: you can A'LLI card it exactly.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: And Verizon has their.
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: Own satellite basically all the companies are working on their
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: own satellite. My experience is that the T mobile one
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: is the best right now. If you're in the middle
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: of nowhere, broken leg in the woods, Yes, your iPhone,
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: if you have a fourteen or above, you'll be able
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: to send that emergency text. It's just not going to
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: be a pretty process.
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: We're talking to Rich on tech and before I let
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: you go the gadget of the week.
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: Yeah, So this is another end of support. If you
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: have one of those old Nest thermostats. If this thing
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: has been in your home for ten years, like it
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: was in mine, you've got to replace it. It's no
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: longer going to work.
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: So I got the new Nest.
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: Well, it'll still work in your home, but all the
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: smart features will no longer work, so you can't control
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: it from the app, which is the whole point of
- 1:41:49Speaker 3: having this thing. Right So, over the weekend I replaced
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: my Nest learning thermostat with the new one, and it
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: looks so much better.
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: It actually learns.
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: I don't know why Google called the original one learning,
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: because my new one tells me when it learns.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: It's like, hey, we noticed you woke up at seven
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: am today.
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: We're going to start adjusting the temperature right when you
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: get up so that your house is comfortable for you.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Okay, that's pretty cool.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: So long story short, search in your email Google Home
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: at Google dot com that gives you the deal for
- 1:42:20Speaker 3: an upgraded thermostat for one hundred and fifty bucks. If
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: you had one of these old ones, they probably sent
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: you an email months ago that you ignored. Look back,
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: and now it's time to act on that.
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: Wait, so how can you tell which ones are going
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: to be obsolete? Like, how do you tell what version
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: of Nest you have?
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: You'd have to go into your Nest or Google Home
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: app and look under the device info and it should say.
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: That I'm not allowed to do that. I'm not allowed
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: to have access to the Nest because I messed with
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: it too much. Yeah, I've been banned. My wife and
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: I are in a Nest battle like that.
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: There's so much drama over it, right, it's crazy. Like
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: I'm just like, why can't we just have the air on? Never?
- 1:42:58Speaker 20: Right?
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: Four seven doors open? I want it on all the time.
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: See I'm the lady. Yeah I want it. I'm not
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: I'm so cold all the time. So I'm on the
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: next step, I'm trying to find out where to find it,
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: it says home Home Info. I have no idea equipment.
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: We'll figure it out. Rich everybody, I feel like Greg,
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: all of a sudden, I know, this is what it
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: feels like to be still looking for the rufous button
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: on Amazon. Well, Rich, sounds like you guys have some homework.
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: The rich on Tech Radio Show Arizon Radio stations nationwide.

- 1:43:51Speaker 1: very helpful. Thank you so much, and we'll we'll talk
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: to you soon. Thanks for having me. Appreciate it all.
- 1:43:56Speaker 16: Rich.
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: We've got some more. What show coming up for you? Next?
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: Hang on?
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: What do you show?
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: We'll be back in a secy out.
- 1:44:11Speaker 24: All right, Woody, Greg, Junigrad Sea Bass is here. We
- 1:44:17Speaker 24: got Sammy Morgan's here. Phones open here on the Woody
- 1:44:21Speaker 24: Show for this morning.
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: And retard alert. Retard alert, Yeah, I believe it or not.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: There's just been a so so many of these here recently.
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: This one and I thought about Sea Bass because he
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: had a somewhat similar situation at one point. So this
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: Chicken Florida as she got arrested after dumping dozens of
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: tampons across her ex boyfriend's lawn. Oh I sure did.
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: I didn't do the dumping, but I got MAXI pad's
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: fixed to my home. That's right. She to them on
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: the outside to briefly catch everyone up.
- 1:44:54Speaker 5: I was dating, not not not exclusively, but I was
- 1:44:57Speaker 5: dating three women at the same time who found out
- 1:44:59Speaker 5: about each other.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: And so the one, the one chick, got mad, right,
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: and she was the one that stuck them all over.
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: Were they from the store to your home? Or did
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: they make a pit stop in her pants? Well, she
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: used ketch it for her reason that broke out between
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: those three chicks. Oh my god, he's fine. To the
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: Chicken Florida, she dumps all these tampons on the launch.
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: She painted them red to look used. According to the cops,
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: the home security footage captured a truck slowly circling the
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: ex's home, but then it stopped. The chick gets into
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: the truck bed and starts tossing the tampons out onto
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: the yard. Make it rain, I can see your temples?
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: Why do you need six? What happens to you? That's
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: the thing. It's hard to do vandalists of these days.
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: It sucks anyway, when the cops questioned her, initially she
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: tried to lie so that she didn't do it, but
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: you know those pesky cameras, she finally admitted it and
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: she threw her family members under the bus, telling the
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: cops how they helped tour with the plan. Why would
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: you do that? That's that dry snitch in menace? Is
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: that what you would call that moron? So she's been
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: hit with a few charges. Oh and her employer, the
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: local fire department, oh good, has placed her on leave.
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: So they're doing their own investigation. But there's no doubt
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: she's getting up, so fire, what's to investigate? The family
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: to bitch be tripping. They're helping it like an art project.
- 1:46:24Speaker 5: And if I could assist with this Number one, you know,
- 1:46:26Speaker 5: obviously guys are gonna have sex with a lot of girls.
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: That's gonna happen.
- 1:46:29Speaker 5: But number two, if you are going to vandalyize, uh,
- 1:46:31Speaker 5: I would say at least parked on the block, wear
- 1:46:33Speaker 5: all black face.
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: These are the basics I wouldn't say ski mask because
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: that can raise the people like what maybe maybe a
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: COVID mask exactly, hat some glasses and then at least
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: give yourself some chance that you won't be on right,
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: you know, so have to do something loo if you're
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: gonna be criming, give yourself a shot. And also the
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: family who cared enough about you to help you hatch
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: your plan. You don't rune a mountain. You got busted,
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: Like you're the one who's throwing the tan on the lawn,
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: take the fall. You don't out the rest of the people.
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: That's the other thing too, It's like that's we plan
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: to get caught and be happy when you don't. This
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: is like what he's thing with people, like when he's like,
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: so if you're if you're gonna throw tampons on a yard,
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: whatever planned, plan it out. What's happens when the cop
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: showed to your door, so you won't be caught by surprise. Yeah,
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: it was an art project, my thing with with people
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: because my mom is like this for the longest time.
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: I don't think she's like this anymore. I think she's
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: now jaded like the rest of us. But she would
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: always have like the best, and you know the best,
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: the thought of tension of these people. These people are
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: you know, pure, and they're and uh, there's everybody's super nice.
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: And then she was constantly disappointed when people turned out
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: to be jerks. And I said, well, just do what
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: I do. Just assume everybody sucks until proven otherwise. Recalibrate.
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, that is such a negative way To'm like, yeah,
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: but here's the thing. Would you rather be constantly disappointed
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: or would you rather be pleasantly surprised? Because there are
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: good people. I'm not saying there's not any good people.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: I'm saying you have to mind yourself. If you got
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: into the world thinking everybody is good and you're setting
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: yourself up for failure, you're gonna be I think you're
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: gonna be that. That's a bigger disappointment then realizing that
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: people are good, right, that there are some good people.
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: There's some kind people out there. Because expectations are future resentments.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: You so, like Greg is always full of words, think
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: about breaking bad. Mike erman Trout he knew he was
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: going to get picked up by the cops all the time,
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: and he just knew that, and he knew what he
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: was and what wasn't going to say. Let's take this
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: real life example breaking bad well all the time. Yeah, okay,
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: it's interesting. Yeah he also had a really good lawyer.
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: Though that's true. I've never had like a ex girlfriend
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: or anybody trying to do anything to get back at me. Really, Yeah,
- 1:48:51Speaker 1: because I wasn't a jerk. Yeah, you know, like if
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: it didn't work out, it didn't work that well. I mean,
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: but I was also not I I was also not
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: trying to juggle chicks.
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: Yes, you just have to.
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: I did the equivalent of the tampon thing where this
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: dude made out with my girlfriend in high school. And
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: she was the first girl whoever, uh, the first one
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: I ever touched boobs. So she was a big deal. Yeah,
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: that was a lifer. She was a big deal. I
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: found out that this guy, I think his name was Carlo,
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: he made out with her. So I went to where
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: he worked at the drug store. Knew where he was parked,
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: and I parked next to him and opened my door
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: real hard. I was such a jerk. Yeah you love
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: those boobs.
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: I did that.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: I did, Okay, I regret it to this day.
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: A guy I hooked up with this girl and then
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: my other friend like months later, hooked up with her,
- 1:49:41Speaker 5: slept over at our house, and I made them sloppy
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: Joe's for breakfast on account of he was getting sloppy sick.
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: He didn't like that. Well, were still friends? Do you
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: know why I made Joe? Yeah? Did he immediately get
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: or did you see Mecca getting? Did you have to
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: help them along the pathway of getting again? Did you
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: have to explain the joke? Because that sucks?
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: I think I might have left the note that explained
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: the joke makes still a little that. I mean, why
- 1:50:09Speaker 5: am I getting sloppy jokes for breakfast?
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: Right? Not a traditional breakfasting? Set us a text to
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: nine eight seven, Get some more Wooden show next, Hang on,
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: this is.
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: Garbage Day, not garbage here. Pete, Hey, don't forget. We
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: have trash Day, not trash weed.
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: It's not every once in a while that they leave
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: it out for an extra day. It's the Woody Show.
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: So what goes around comes around. What's old is new again?
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: According to a new report, the younger generations falling in
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: love with the old tech. Oh things like flip the
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: idea of like a flip phone or a digital actual
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: digital camera, I've seen more of those recently, why and
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: and compact discs. Greg that you support that Greg hung
- 1:51:04Speaker 1: in there longer than anybody that I knew. True, I
- 1:51:07Speaker 1: still have them.
- 1:51:08Speaker 9: Ill in that long tower. I have one of those binders,
- 1:51:13Speaker 9: like a binder, And.
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: They say the reason pretty simple that the old school technology,
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: it's just simpler. It doesn't demand attention, doesn't require like
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: constant screen time. When they say it's a it's a
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: reaction just to feeling controlled by today's tech and that
- 1:51:31Speaker 1: they're just trying to like, you know, take back control
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: of that, you know, attention and focus.
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: I saw some studies that screen time peaked somewhere around
- 1:51:39Speaker 5: twenty twenty two and it started to drop off again.
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: People are everywhere but North America, Yeah, it was. North
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: America is the only place that continues to go up.
- 1:51:46Speaker 1: I'll grow on social media. Yeah, everywhere else, those numbers
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: are are going down. But on the social media thing,
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: A new poll says that social media is now officially
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: the main source for news, So that's that's where people
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: are getting getting their news. Fifty four percent of people
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: say they rely on social media for their news updates.
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: Everyone else said that they're either you know, still listening
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: to or watching you know, TV news or you know
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: news radio things, you know, websites, apps, things like that.
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: But TikTok that is the fastest growing news source that
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: makes sense. TikTok that tracks it sucks. The main source
- 1:52:29Speaker 1: of news for people in twenty twenty five is Twitter
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: X whatever you want to call it. Fifty seven percent
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: of people say that's where they get all of their news.
- 1:52:38Speaker 8: That's the problem, Thank you, Eli. You will need to
- 1:52:41Speaker 8: get news from like multiple sources. I mean once you
- 1:52:44Speaker 8: just get into one feed. Yeah, and it's just going
- 1:52:47Speaker 8: to feed you the same chamber.
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there are different tools or different jobs, right, And
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: I've always seen Instagram is I'm not looking at Instagram
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: for news, Instagrams to kind of see what other people
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: are up to or other kind of like sharing fun things, right,
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: something visual. Obviously the jokes the use for Twitter was
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: I would go there if I was if I was
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: seeking news or breaking or reaction to news, That's where
- 1:53:14Speaker 1: I would go for that. Now I still on Twitter,
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: follow news sources ABC, ZBS, Fox, UH, CNN, AP, associated Press,
- 1:53:27Speaker 1: those different USA today. Yeah, and but it's changed now.
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: It leads you stuff that you don't even follow, which
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: is going back to what SeaBASS is talking about, that
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: whole study or article or whatever. The reason that the
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: people are losing interest or using less of it is
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: because they're not interested in the suggested stuff that it's
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: being fed into their feet like they're they're they're losing
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: out on you know, you know, seeing what's in real
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: time from the people they already follow. They don't like
- 1:53:53Speaker 1: the suggested stuff. Yeah, the only person are the only
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: people that are good at it is TikTok. Everyone else
- 1:53:59Speaker 1: sucks at it because even like.
- 1:54:00Speaker 5: Good old Facebook, which was supposed to be a book
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: of your friends, right yeah, that if I pull that
- 1:54:05Speaker 5: open right now, I've got a group, an ad, a
- 1:54:10Speaker 5: group on Facebook, comedian I don't follow, ninth thing a
- 1:54:14Speaker 5: comedian I don't follow.
- 1:54:16Speaker 9: And saying you get your news from TikTok is not
- 1:54:18Speaker 9: for everyone, but for a lot of people, like a
- 1:54:20Speaker 9: girl putting on her makeup talking about something she doesn't understand,
- 1:54:23Speaker 9: Like that's where you're getting your news.
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: It's scary, right yeah, Like most most of my Facebook
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: feed is suggested posts. Mine is just ads or people
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: I don't follow. Now that said, you can follow us

- 1:56:24Speaker 1: it's still so weird to me that that's a job.
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: I know, life coach isn't that like a therapist, But
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: it's not a therapist. I've made that mistake before. Don't
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: do that anything right. Yeah, it's just some person I
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: think that likes being up in other people's business whose
- 1:56:40Speaker 1: own life is probably a mess.
- 1:56:42Speaker 9: The only people who's who've ever come to me and
- 1:56:44Speaker 9: said I want to be a life coach, their life
- 1:56:46Speaker 9: was a mess.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but what same with therapists. Same with therapist. That
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: is true. Like some of the craziest people I know,
