- 0:14Speaker 2: it's course Friday, Halloween. We're leading all the way up
- 0:16Speaker 2: to number one, the most haunted place in Texas according
- 0:19Speaker 2: to these paranormal experts and research teams that do this,
- 0:22Speaker 2: which is just insane to me. Last week we were
- 0:25Speaker 2: talking about this too, Number ten, just so you know,
- 0:26Speaker 2: because people.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Want to know. I want to know. The rundown on
- 0:28Speaker 1: the list.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Number ten was Old Alton Bridge, goat Man's Bridge and Denton.
- 0:31Speaker 2: That was number ten, Number nine with six flags over Texas.
- 0:35Speaker 2: The ghost of Annie, the little girl who drowned allegedly there.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I don't know if that's allegedly. I think that's pretty
- 0:40Speaker 2: much in the history books.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Seems like that. On number seven Baker's Hotel in Mineral Wells.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Number six we did on Friday the Texas State Capitol,
- 0:48Speaker 2: and so many people called up about that. Once somebody
- 0:51Speaker 2: else called me and told me, not only is there
- 0:53Speaker 2: multiple ghosts that have died in the state, Capitol and
- 0:55Speaker 2: that you know, allegedly haunted.
- 0:57Speaker 1: But I never knew there was a bunker system. Somebody
- 1:00Speaker 1: told me there's an underground bunker system under the state
- 1:05Speaker 1: Capitol in Austin.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Where the you know, elected officials can hide out of
- 1:09Speaker 2: case there's any kind of emergency. There's even a rumor though,
- 1:13Speaker 2: that these tunnels go as far as up to here,
- 1:16Speaker 2: up to Dallas. What I saw and I'm like, there's
- 1:19Speaker 2: no way, But they say there is an underground system
- 1:22Speaker 2: that's you know, they keep secret in case of any
- 1:26Speaker 2: kind of emergency. Now today number five is Flagpole Hill. Okay,
- 1:32Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever heard of Flagpole Hill
- 1:34Speaker 2: in the history of flag boil. It's in Dallas. It's
- 1:38Speaker 2: very close to White Rock Lake, which is another haunted
- 1:41Speaker 2: hot spot that was number eight on the list. Actually,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and well there's it's haunted for many reasons. They say
- 1:48Speaker 2: Flagpole Hill is a popular hotspot because it has those
- 1:51Speaker 2: beautiful views. I mean, there's gorgeous views and it's an
- 1:54Speaker 2: amazing looking place. But a lot of people who go
- 1:57Speaker 2: there say they've you know, reported strange and unexplained to occurrences,
- 2:01Speaker 2: leading some to believe that this park may be haunted.
- 2:04Speaker 2: The history of Flagpole Hill dates back to the early
- 2:07Speaker 2: nineteen hundred. As a matter of fact, it even goes
- 2:09Speaker 2: past that when they say that, you know, Native Americans
- 2:13Speaker 2: had that land and were violently obviously kicked off that land,
- 2:17Speaker 2: and now they say that some of those spirits still
- 2:20Speaker 2: haunt the area. And then in the early nineteen hundreds,
- 2:23Speaker 2: it was originally used as a military training ground, and
- 2:26Speaker 2: it's believed that the park may be home to the
- 2:29Speaker 2: ghosts of soldiers who died during training exercises there.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Wow, which I never knew that. In one particular soldier,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I guess who is.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Haunting the area who was killed while on duty at
- 2:43Speaker 2: Flagpole Hill. Now he searches for his killer, they say
- 2:48Speaker 2: on knights and people have seen a spirit of a
- 2:50Speaker 2: soldier walking back and forth in the area, which freaks
- 2:55Speaker 2: me out to think about me.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Yeah, they say, the legend is the you.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Could see the soldier's ghosts roaming the park at night
- 3:03Speaker 2: searching for his killers. Some say that they've even seen
- 3:05Speaker 2: him walking along the trails or standing on the hill
- 3:08Speaker 2: looking over the city.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That gives me the chills think about it.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Other visitors to the park have reported hearing strange noises
- 3:17Speaker 2: such as footsteps and whispers coming from the seemingly empty
- 3:20Speaker 2: areas of the park. Some have you been claimed to
- 3:22Speaker 2: see ghostly apparitions such as a woman in a white dress,
- 3:26Speaker 2: a man in a military uniform standing in the shadows.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And when paranormal experts went out there, they said they
- 3:32Speaker 2: had a lot of activity, a lot of activity in
- 3:36Speaker 2: this area, not just flag Boll Hill.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They eat say, in that area, all around that park.
- 3:42Speaker 2: They say, there's a lot lot of things going on
- 3:46Speaker 2: unexplained activity.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, that's the house, isn't that the flag bol Hill house.
- 3:51Speaker 1: There's a house like down the streets or something like
- 3:53Speaker 1: that right by there.
- 3:54Speaker 2: There's a house on Blackbird Lane. Yeah, that they say,
- 3:57Speaker 2: Well it's not They say, it's true that had a
- 4:01Speaker 2: violent history. And I want to get into detail. But
- 4:04Speaker 2: in the sixties when it was built, the person who
- 4:07Speaker 2: built the home deleted themselves in the home. I'll say
- 4:12Speaker 2: that deleted themselves after they built the home. And I
- 4:15Speaker 2: think that was like in nineteen sixty two. And then
- 4:18Speaker 2: multiple families after that that lived in the home had
- 4:22Speaker 2: violent things happened to them. Yes, And then in the
- 4:26Speaker 2: eighties that same house on Blackbird Lane, somebody deleted two
- 4:31Speaker 2: people that lived there. Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I just saw that. Did you see that?
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah, there's like a clipping from one of the newspapers
- 4:38Speaker 2: talking about that double Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 1: That yes, yes, what are the odds? Is that a
- 4:43Speaker 1: kwinn of Blackbird Lane?
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 4:47Speaker 2: And they say that something about that house that's close
- 4:49Speaker 2: to Flagpole Hill. They say that everybody is good until
- 4:53Speaker 2: they move into that house, and then once they move
- 4:55Speaker 2: into that house, things get bad. Everything was normal until
- 5:00Speaker 2: they move into that house and then it all goes crazy. Yeah,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I be wild to think about. So that's one of
- 5:08Speaker 2: the places you can check out if you want to.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Flagpole Hill they say one of the most haunted places,
- 5:13Speaker 2: not just in Dallas but in Texas. And I still say,
- 5:17Speaker 2: one of these spots we have to go to and
- 5:20Speaker 2: maybe not stay the night.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But let's go during the day. No, no, no, no, night.
- 5:25Speaker 1: We have to go at night. We're not going to
- 5:27Speaker 1: go during We're not going to go during the day
- 5:31Speaker 1: during the day. Yeah, there's a nice playground there. You've
- 5:37Speaker 1: never had anything happen to you?
