- @f1capper: All right, we're back Apex Insiders push to cash recap show. got Barbara GP, Nathan Rogers here, F1 capper. What's going on? How are we feeling? @iN8Rodgers: What's up? Doing good. ⁓ Yeah, just finished off the first month of IndyCar season and I just looked yesterday and it was actually my best kind of four race run that I've ever had. I'm up to 20 units now and just, and that's even going conservative a couple of places because the season is so young, but ⁓ yeah, it's just kind of working out. no complaints. @f1capper: Yeah, 20 units man, four races, of course, especially an Indy car. I know that's because we lack markets, but it was kind of interesting to see. Cezars was posting like these, the props a little bit more for us. I wonder if that's going to continue. ⁓ Maybe not after we had our day with them, so which we can talk about, but before we get into the units, let's just quickly jump into the race and. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. Yeah, maybe not. @f1capper: I mean, didn't seem like it was a surprise for us that Palo just took off and ran. I think the biggest takeaway was for me at least was there were a lot of talk about this was going to be an alternate race. A lot of talk and, you know, qualifying. We saw a few of the guys just like Palo being one of them saying, Hey, I'm just going to put a new sticker on there. And everyone's like, Whoa, you know, they're not going to have an extra, you know, set like the other, you know, race. @iN8Rodgers: Yep. @f1capper: race car drivers are going to have and ended up being, they brained it. They knew that all along this was going to be a primary type of race. They just knew that that was going to be the best way to maximize. So if we can maximize our pace with the primaries that it was going to benefit us. And then obviously, ⁓ go ahead. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, Kirk. Well, just Kirkwood was one of the guys who saved it and I was a little worried about him because he looks so good all weekend and I was we were all fading him and he saved a set and kind of qualified back fifth instead of maybe he could have been on the front row if he used that new set and then he ended up not even using an extra set in the race because he went one alternate and all primaries and ⁓ Malukis talked about it a bit too that they were on the wrong strategy. He didn't say they thought they could have won, but he thinks it would have been a podium day. @f1capper: to primaries. @iN8Rodgers: for sure if they would have found out a little sooner ⁓ that this was a yeah @f1capper: Yeah, it would easily been a podium for them because he was right there at the end. He had like a hundred push the pass with like five laps left too. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I don't know if he was a little low on fuel because that was kind of weird to To be so close to ray hall but not burn that up I know he said that the a few drivers talked about it wasn't even really marbles, but the tires were doing something really weird throwing like like gluey Substance of tires all over the track and so people are kind of scared to get offline ⁓ But Yeah, the tires was interesting. I kind of flipped. We saw Friday when people put on the alternates. ⁓ It looked like it had one lap of peak performance. And then we kind of saw that courting on the tires. And so I think I even put in the discord, like, this must be a primary race. But then, you know, obviously they have more information that the people in the booth are smarter than me, even though they're wrong a lot of times. So they're all saying, yeah, yeah. So they're saying alternate, alternate. So I'm like, okay. @f1capper: They were wrong a lot. @iN8Rodgers: I started thinking about who's got the extra sets and in the end it didn't matter. Palau, actually he said they found out later than they wanted to also and ⁓ The stint where Lungard caught up to him was a stint where they had to use like heavily used primaries and Palo said he was struggling on that but yeah don't think Lungard would have made it interesting if he didn't have that mishap on pit lane but I don't know that he's passing Palo. Passing was difficult at the end of the race so good run by him though pretty impressive to come from 10th. @f1capper: Yeah. No, very, very impressive. I still don't think he would have had that opportunity. I know it was definitely a long stop, but he's not going to get by Polo that easy. And again, I was talking to you before that there. I mean, I'm going to try to go back and digest the entire race pace, like between all the drivers and I'll probably post something if I can get it right. But yeah, I think I think Ganassi knew all along what they were gonna do. There was no way that they, they wanted to make sure they had a pivot plan, but they put themselves at a risk, right? Like you use that just to get to P1. And then they had that use set of the primary, but I think they knew all along this was gonna be a primary race. Maybe it was just because he, they said if he could get P1, he gets clean air, he's able to take care of his tires a little bit better. Maybe that was their focus, but either way, I think that. You knew early on that was a primary race, especially like seeing the pace of a lot of these drivers in that first 20 laps. You can see a lot of them were doing actually really well with the primaries and still have life in them. Even after they got like three fourths before the big drop off started happening. Lungard, yeah, so unfortunate, you know, he had that situation. I mean, that comes back to some of the things we talked about, which is McLaren is It's just a team where it's like, you don't know what you're going to get with them. Even with Lundgaard. mean, Lundgaard, knew he was going to be awesome here. Obviously it showed, he shined, but moving forward where he, how are you going to, how are we going to price that now moving forward? And I have maybe my opinions about it. ⁓ but yeah, just in terms of this race, I think the other thing I was going to talk about was Ray Hall. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: I mean, that was a pretty impressive drive by him, and especially to stay into the podium the entire time. So yeah, what did you think? @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, no, I agree. I agree on the McLaren front. ⁓ This is probably their best road course and they looked pretty bad and lost and even Lundgaard qualified way worse than he should have. They were very lost and then Lundgaard just drove that car like mad to the front really fast, like quickly too. He didn't waste much time getting up there. Ray Hall, we expect them to be good on road courses, but we don't expect it this early when you look at their numbers. They weren't necessarily ever that impressive here at Barber. ⁓ @f1capper: Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: And Louis Foster was probably one of his worst weekends on road course wise ⁓ considering how good he looked, you know, at least in practices and qualifying last year. So yeah, definitely a surprise for Ray Hall. His team helped him out and didn't screw him up. I think he had to do an extra cent on alternates because they probably found out too late in the game. And I think that's when Palo really drove away from him. @f1capper: Nowhere. @iN8Rodgers: He was never really in contention for the win, even though know some of us felt like 125 to 1 the morning of the race. And so we're hoping that something would happen. But yeah, it's, it's, it's below. So, um, that's. @f1capper: It's his world and we're living in it. Yeah, but let's talk about the bets because I know we had this discussion last week and IndieBet did say we need to talk about that, was because we had two different things, the lap leaders, which we had that discussion about and there was a little back and forth with someone else about that. But specifically loved @iN8Rodgers: Yep. @f1capper: the call out on the under four and a half drivers to lead, which was different, right? It's just gotta be the drivers. I think it was three. I think we ended up with three. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, and even the race, I didn't end up playing the race speed that you guys played either, but all of those three hit so easily. I didn't even check the final numbers of them. I just know that they all hit. so, Palo getting P1 was so key for that because I think even on his first ⁓ pit exchange, he stayed out so long that he pitted and came back out in the lead before anyone else kind of swapped with him for a lap or two. So it was lap 50 or something before @f1capper: Yeah. Me neither. Me neither. @iN8Rodgers: before we even saw him exchange the lead with someone for a lap or two. So that was, yeah, it just worked out perfect. And so that's why we're at Gunsad. don't know if Caesars will keep throwing those out because I think we've hit on five of those now this year. @f1capper: Yeah, no and it all correlated right like you brought it up I was so in love with that four and a half and it was to your point right like Palo he gets p1 hell even if it's lungard gets p1 whatever the situation may be it was going to be between those two hard to pass track We already had the numbers behind the cautions right the average of the cautions was around like two less than that with was it 2024 was there was four. Yes, there was a lot. So obviously when we handicap, we don't factor in cautions because you can't predict those things. are not variables you can predict. You can only predict them in the sense of, it be high or low? And then that's where we make our decision. So then when they dropped the under seven and a half and I got that feed in, I was like, ⁓ my God, under seven and a half. And that's when I was going back and forth and in any of it. And then we both came together. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: I'm glad we did on the pod because if Indy bet said, no, I like the over, I would have not bet that. And then I would have not bet the speed because again, that correlated with what we talked about, which was less cautions, more speed. So I was under the impression we're going to see two or less cautions. We didn't even see one. And that's why they all correlated because, you know, you're just in that pit cycle, pillows and one, all three to me were just. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: one big bet in my eyes. So I love that. I love that. @iN8Rodgers: for sure. Yeah, Maluchas was talking about how they were going faster in warm up this year than they were in qualifying last year, which is pretty insane because there's no changes to the car. The car is still the heavy hybrid clunker that they were driving last year. And so it's kind of crazy how these teams are figuring out how to get like near record lap speeds on this car. That's like a Frankenstein, just, you know, big giant weight machine. @f1capper: Yeah. Which is interesting that his comments, I wonder if that's a, I gotta go back and see. that, was that the same situ, I don't think it was the same situation in the last two road courses, but it is something to pay attention to. ⁓ But yeah, I think outside of the props, I don't know, I know you had a lot of the long shots, but we were all on the same page. If we can get Palo at plus money. which at one point he was plus 140 in some spots. I don't remember when and I just didn't, I didn't even overthink that I said I'm taking it. So a lot of us were on the plow outright, which was great, but top threes. I know Maluchas was right there. There's some of you that have, I don't remember what your odds were, but like sixth to one, seventh to one, yeah. It was there, was just there. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. seven to one, you know. And so I... Yeah, we need him to which he did convert in Phoenix. He got a podium there, but he's at these longer odds right now and I he's been really good the best Pinsky so far and So just hope they don't start changing the odds and he keeps finishing fourth or fifth and we don't really get to I want to convert on the odds before they collapse on us, so I'll be looking at Lucas more as the season goes on. Hopefully we keep getting those those long shots because he's he's looked good all year. @f1capper: ⁓ yeah. 100%. I know I made a comment like McLaughlin was the Panski guy, but now I'm like, okay, it's been, he's just, I don't know what's going on with Scott right now. He's not consistent. Yeah, but we'll get to him before the preview. But I wanted to bring up the head-to-head matchup set because you had a lot more than I did and I was disappointed in one of them, but go for yours. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I wanted to talk about him, yeah. It's a... Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I'm trying to think what I, well, McLaughlin, I went early and heavy on him over Kirkwood. I ended up kind of hedging that with the Kirkwood group at the, Sunday. And so I kind of evened out on that. ⁓ I really liked I thought award over Erickson was going to be pretty straightforward one but award just was was bad and he he said it you know they just didn't have anything that day. ⁓ Trying to think what else I went with there was a. Vk over Rasmussen and Vk even had a I don't know if he spun out or got kind of driven off the you know The the racing line or something, but he still cleared Rasmussen by several spots @f1capper: Thank God. I was on that one too. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, yeah, I was a little worried when that happened, but Rasmussen just kind of sat back there. Dixon over New Garden, Dixon did his classic thing of just, you know, staying out, getting that, doing kind of the overcut on people and being on a weird different strategy that no one else is on and move, moving up four or five spots. So that was just nice to count on. I think that's, that's all I had. There was an Armstrong group where he hit pretty easily there. @f1capper: always. I love that one because we had just done F1, we had a pretty nice one and I had some of the people in the premium asking, they from Europe, they were like, hey, so I have these groups and I was like, man, I hate groups. But then the one that caught my eye, I was like, whoa, Armstrong is in that group with a bunch of schmucks, you should probably take Armstrong. I didn't even take it, which is the funny thing. I didn't even take it I was like, take the Armstrong one and it cleared easy, easy. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, yeah, he was like I still want a little more from Armstrong It's just as far as like him to peek and contend for a win, but i'll take that, you know, where you just had a nice steady day ⁓ There was I found a maluchis bad price on his group. I had seven to one That morning and and he was looking really good. But then loongard was in that group so loongard kind of came out of nowhere and killed that but ⁓ @f1capper: Hmm. @iN8Rodgers: That's all right. mean, it was still a good day. So like I said, no complaints. ⁓ I was getting, I took Kirkwood no win. was the first time I ever done that. I dropped like three units. Yeah. Cause he looked good to the whole weekend. And then I was worried about it being an alternate race and him having that extra set. I almost took him for podium cause I was so worried about it, but I ended up just holding off and sticking with what I had and it worked out. @f1capper: It's kind of sweating on it a little bit. Staying strong, I like it. No hedging. We don't hedge here. At least I don't. ⁓ No, no, that was, yeah, mean, 20 units, man. What did you have, like a seven unit day, eight unit day or something? @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. off 4.2 for Barber. Grid rival went well again. I'm 28 and 11 on the grid rival picks individually, so a couple just haven't worked out from the pairings, but it's going way better than last year. think we've kind of got enough data and things just haven't been wonky as far as big wrecks or unexpected cautions at the wrong time and things like that. @f1capper: Okay. Okay. @iN8Rodgers: I don't want to say easy, but it's been nice and a little more predictable, @f1capper: Yeah! It's been steady. It's been steady and I think we've, you know, as the season's coming along, I think we're starting to understand a little bit more. I mean, we know the obvious of some of these guys, the Palos, right? But things are validating in terms of what we've seen last year and then even we would, let's say the back half of 2024, because I like to take that stretch of the hybrid era. and things are still validated for us. Now, I mean, we have these outliers, you know, Rahal being top three, okay, we expected him to be good, but we didn't expect P3 good. ⁓ You know, there's gonna be little things like that, but like Rasmussen, right? We know that we gotta try to back him during ovals, and you fade him in a situation like this, like, VK spun out and he still cleared him, right? That's a situation where we're always leaning in on, but it's awesome, man. I mean, like, you're... You're killing it right now. We want to continue to see that. And the best part is our community's pretty much on the same page. ⁓ You know, very rare are we coming across a line where we disagree, except this last weekend where we disagreed, but we had a disagreement with Seagull. And he's still, I was like, P-17, he's just got to get P-17. Easy. No problem. He still couldn't do that. And I think Pato was like P17. P17, yeah, right behind. So that's what was disappointing and I think that's what we'll kind of talk about, you know, McLaren going into next week and potentially further on. Actually, I didn't even, I think I tallied mine. I actually had my best weekend of the year myself, thanks to those props. I had a four, 4.18 unit win that weekend, so. @iN8Rodgers: He was right behind him, yeah he was. we go. @f1capper: 50 % return on investment, I'll take it. It's been kind of rough with IndyCar just because of my options, but I love seeing, and I was like, if we can get these props, if we can get some of these things, I can veer away from top three to outright and head to head, because normally, so it was gonna be like one or two head to head that I'm gonna like, and that's it. So, looking forward to Indy 500 though, I know we're gonna get a laundry list whenever they come out, so. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. Yeah, I think the last thing I was going to touch on, like we said, McLaughlin was just like this. I mean, he's approaching now like 25 winless races. He looked really good in St. Pete. He was. @f1capper: Yeah. Yeah, let's get into it. @iN8Rodgers: He said he didn't really like Phoenix, which is fair, because I think he was still like top five or something, had an OK weekend. And then Arlington and Barber, he's in practice, the strongest, one of the strongest cars. I don't know if he beats Palo or Kirkwood, those two races, but he could easily take on podiums with those times and he's making these mistakes that are like. You know, I'm glad he's he's his personality is kind of able to like laugh it off and get in back in the car and kind of like lock in but like if he keeps bending these cars and like just practice sessions things like that like Penske maybe replacing him like a lot sooner than we would have ever thought. ⁓ Just really. that fact that Maluchus is separating himself from Newgarden and McLaughlin is just kind of wild. And I'm starting to like reconsider how much. I need to back off of McLaughlin going forward until he proves that he can just, I think you called it out. It's a very like her to ask where it's like, this is your track. This is your weekend. The team's got the car delivering you the car that you you can get a podium or a win out of. And then you're showing it on the track that you're going P one and then you're thrown into the wall over like, for what? It just. @f1capper: Yeah, no, and that that mistake he made too. It's like It's like he was you know, I get it. You you're always driving on the limits You're always trying to maximize and you know in the back of your mind There's kirkwood and palo that you're trying to beat in this situation. Let's be real. Those are the top two guys right now in indycar and you're trying so hard and I get it you want to push the limits, but Yeah, it's just @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: brings up Herta in my mind because he tried to do the same. He had his teammates, he was constantly always like trying to beat, you know, he's got Kirkwood behind him and he's like trying to beat him. But it's, I think it's, I'm gonna be fair to him and say there is still something else wrong with Penske at the road courses, which is there is just something inherently not there in terms of their pace when it gets to, and then qualifying. I mean we've seen McLaughlin qualify higher, but Joseph Newgarden is the example But you bring up a good point like hey You're not even if you're not able to perform on road courses. That's fine Newgarden at least is getting wins and ovals What are you doing for us right now? You know so you have to try he has to break out of this thing and then The way I'm kind of thinking about this ⁓ When it comes to bets I know grid rivals technically sort of a bet @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: I'm still going to attack on McLaughlin when I see that there's an opportunity, like a six and a half, seven and a half opportunity at a track where we know he can perform. But it's definitely makes me not want to back him for outrights, top threes, and even head to head. I still worry, I'm not gonna get cute unless it's just a McLaughlin over Ericsson. Maybe that I'll take. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, especially pre-qualifying like I kind of did with Kirkwood, you know, where... @f1capper: But we, yes, definitely gotta wait until we validate some stuff, make sure like you get there. ⁓ And I don't wanna overreact. Like I know there is some reaction you still have to have, but I'm not gonna overreact completely, but yes, he's on pause for me. Whereas I like to say he's in the gulag until further notice, but I will go back to him if I see the price is right against the right matchup. In and on grid rival as well, right? Like you give me a seven and a half, eight and a half. If it gets ever gets eight and a half. ⁓ yeah, I'm going to try to, I'm going to take my chances, but I just Penske. I'm going to try to dive in a little bit more because this is something that needs to be studied. Like how is it that you're, you're this bad when it comes to road courses, you just completely flipped the score. But Maluchas showed that's actually not true. So I'm very interested to see. I don't know. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, and it's, you know, they kind of come into these weekends with the story of like, you know, road courses were tough for us and we really locked in this off season or, you know, a few years ago they were saying about that about the Indy 500. And then, the thing is that they were actually converting when they would like say those things, they'd be like, well, we locked in on road courses. Then they won like three or four road courses, or they, you know, they won two Indy 500s. And now that's like, they're saying that they're focused in on improving. And then they're kind of just a little stagnant. @f1capper: Yeah, I mean, maybe they've just put all their eggs in one basket for IMSA because they are just dominating in GTP or something, but they're just not looking too hot on road courses right now. ⁓ Meyerschank, I wanted to kind of bring up because you brought up Armstrong. Like he's been solid. And I think the problem with Armstrong is just, it's not him in his driving ability. He's been quietly pretty good. I think it's just the car. And we've seen that in the past. Like the car... @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I've seen that. @f1capper: is in a similar situation with Penske. Like maybe it qualifies high, but then it drops off, right? Maybe they qualify back, but they pull up. There's just something inherently not right with them in that car when it comes to road courses. It's just always a flip-flop situation for them. ⁓ But Armstrong, he's looked solid, man. He's been a solid, solid character when it comes to driving. ⁓ I don't know, what are your thoughts? @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, no, I agree that and he's kind of taking the top spot from Rosenquist at least right now because he's looking better on ovals. He's looking better on street and road courses. I am well, you know when we get into Long Beach, I am interested in Rosenquist this weekend, but yeah, unfortunately, Meyer Schenker is like the my clv kings of like i've you know i'd i'd take a long shot on them and then i you know get oh maybe they can get me the 16 to 1 podium that i took and then you know they just kind of fall back to six or seven so uh maybe arm armstrong will deliver for me soon i still think he's pretty talented @f1capper: Yeah. I think what needs to happen, I think there's a competitiveness too, right? And Dready is just, they're going to be strong, right? Like especially at a street course, we know that. And then you got Palo and you have Dixon too, right? I know he's not going to be P1, at least we hope not for betting purposes. But then it's a pretty competitive field, right? So they're probably doing more that they shouldn't, that they don't need to do during the race. Just try to keep. track position, you know, Kirkwood is just that much better right now. He's, he's, he's pacing better. And I think that's what's, it's just a pillow Kirkwood and then insert someone else, pick your poison here on, ⁓ who may or may not be there. So, don't know. ⁓ but let's, let's kind of talk about Barb, ⁓ not Barbara, ⁓ Long Beach. Because we got a gift. MGM decided that they were going to post outrides. I don't think anyone else has posted anything, right? It's just MGM? ⁓ Well, go ahead and ⁓ spill your beans then. @iN8Rodgers: Nope. Yeah, we're still three weeks out from from Long Beach. So, you know, no real preview right now. But the fact that they had lines, I had to jump on them and just thinking in dreading. I when you think back to Arlington and then even courses before that, I just how good they looked. I went ahead and took all three and dreaded cars for now. I stayed pretty light. I think I'm at total like point seven units. So when below wins this because he's very good here, I won't be that upset about, you know, having a All three and dread he's finished right behind him and I you know, maybe i'll lose 0.7 units, but Kirkwood is at plus 275 and I think that's a fair number Unfortunately, I didn't get the gift from like I did from draft kings at 10 to 1 But I think 275 is fair based on his stat. He's got two poles here two winds ⁓ He held off Palo all of last race doing the last year's race at long beach by doing the overcut just pitting one lap after Palo each time and then just keeping them behind them really controlling the race. Ericsson's pretty good here. He's at 30 to one. Ericsson's made the fast six like four or five times here, even going back to Ganassi. Decent finishing results too. And he looked really good in Arlington. So 30 to one, you why not? And then power at 20 to one. You know, I took a stab at that because if the strategy goes right for him at Arlington, he might've had something for Kirkwood that day ⁓ and then that's a long shot I think I got it out 100 to 1 Rosenquist he's that four or five fast six here I think he almost either had a pole or almost had a pole two or three years ago he should have had a podium here last year so I'll be looking at his podium number ⁓ But yeah, a couple other things I was going to note that I thought of when I watched last year's race was Lungard. When you look at his stats, he started 12th last year, but he was actually set to make the Fast 6. And he wrecked right at the end of qualifying. He already had a lap down for the Fast 6. He ended up finishing third. He was able to get by Rosenquist at the very end. Newgarden was really racy here last year. He needs to qualify better. I won't take him to win. Probably not even a podium. @f1capper: Yeah. That's right. Forgot about that. Mm-hmm. @iN8Rodgers: Maybe a nice matchup for New Garden. He had the seatbelt issue last year, which is I think if you look at his stats Why he finished so low? ⁓ @f1capper: He had that also this past weekend, I think. I think that was him. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, somebody, yeah, that's like the third time I think a Pinsky is at a seatbelt-ish. So they can't even figure out how to buckle seatbelts right now. @f1capper: Apparently not. No, I like all those. mean, from a CLV perspective, obviously a 100 to one on Felix. I get it. mean, throw a dollar on it. Who cares? Go for it. If you have access, fine. Have fun. I'm definitely Kirkwood, mean, it's hard not to want to do that at plus 275. I am intrigued with @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: Power, 20 to one, which IndieBite, I think loves that as well. I mean, I think a lot of us were like, whoa, Power, 20 to one, Andretti, right? I hear you on Erickson. I totally understand, all Andretti, I hear you. I just can't get myself to do it. I just can't get myself, I know he's what, 30 to one you said? Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, and that's this is where I really just we had top fives because I would love to just Convert these odds into a top five on rosenquist and erickson and I would feel way better about that I don't get those so i'm just gonna throw out some beer money at them and Feel good about my clv, I guess @f1capper: Yes, yes, yes, absolutely. 100 % with you. Even if they had top threes, I'd probably take that, but 100 % top five, I would be all over it all day. I'd be like, yeah, give me those four to ones, three to ones, two to ones, whatever it is that you're gonna put them, 100%. But I do agree, power, the reason why, because I was kinda on the train with him. to with, then we heard the news like he was hating the car, then I kinda got off that train, but at Arlington that's flipped my mind just because I was like, man, he actually drove an impressive race, but it's also those Andretti cars were just super, super, super at Arlington, so I'm keeping that open mind with all three of them going into this race. I just like the power odds better at 20 to one. I'm an Ericsson hater, call me that all you want. Yes, I just don't see it from him, but maybe he will do it, I don't know. But I do like that 20 to one if you're gonna take a long shot, and absolutely on Kirkwood. Palo, I think was at minus 150, I believe. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, which I will say in MGM normally posts him at These kind of odds when they post them up, you know plus money for barber early That was kind of surprising because they are normally the ones that are going to be on the farthest extreme on pillow and then let everyone else be longer shots So I think we might see a little better odds on pillow And so I would wait if you like plus we got wait and see, know three weeks from now and see what comes out I don't think you necessarily want to wait after qualifying because he's @f1capper: I think so. ⁓ yeah. @iN8Rodgers: He's just as good here as the Andretti's. This is probably his best street course even though he hasn't won here. I think he looks better here than he does at St. Pete or any other other street course. @f1capper: Yeah. 100%. I think what I was saying, I was like, actually hoping he might qualify in P three and we get the plus like Kirkwood probably gets P we need Kirkwood to be ahead of Palo. If that happens and he ends up P three and Kirkwood is like P one. I guarantee you will see a plus one 20 to one, maybe up to one 50 on him. And that's when I'm going to attack because @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: We know that strategy is gonna always play in his hand and he's gonna have something up his sleeve. So I believe in it ⁓ But yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I really hope we get some top threes at minimum Obviously top fives would be nice, but that's a that's a wish list. So ⁓ Any last thoughts now and I guess three weeks. Are we sure it's three weeks from now? That's it's two two weeks two weeks, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah Yeah @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, 2 and 1 here, think. I think it's the 18th. So the IndyCar gets a little quiet here, which is unfortunate because F1 is also very quiet. And it's just going to be. @f1capper: We're not gonna have a race until May 2nd for F1, which is like, wow, it's kind of a nice thing, ⁓ but also I'm gonna be frothing. ⁓ mean, at least it gives me time to like do some other data work, because the battery stuff is really making my head spin, I hate it. So it's a mess. yeah, we'll still continue to do some shows. think... ⁓ @iN8Rodgers: That's a mess. @f1capper: think we'll try to have another show for Indy. We're going to try to bring on a guest and then I will do the inside line with Ryan for my grid rival. So we'll kind of talk a little bit more about Indy car, NASCAR F1. So we'll bring the spectrum when it comes to bedding. So if you're listening, we'll have some more content coming out in terms of that. then, ⁓ yeah, and then we'll have our bedding preview the week of the race in two weeks. So. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, maybe you could put some live pressure on Ryan for your limits to be increased for grid rivals. @f1capper: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was a little surprised. I've underdog has officially limited me. At least they only did it $25 for both. So I'll take it. We're starting to run out of room here on what can I use? But thank God I have bet online, except they just don't do Indy car that much. So I have bet us. So they are the ones that have been pretty solid for me. Yeah, we'll see. I'm ⁓ pressuring a little bit. all right. Well, we'll see you in a couple of weeks and yeah, get into the Discord. If you're hearing this, obviously we have live action. We always are getting the lines popped up on there and always attacking with Caesar's especially if you're in the Discord, we'll post right away and then you'll be able to attack right away. So. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, resident ⁓ line sniper Maxwell will be in there and it'll be quiet racing front boat. I'm sure we'll find something to go at each other for. just. @f1capper: Maxwell. We'll have some NASCAR that we can lose some money on, although it's been good lately, so. All right, @iN8Rodgers: Here we go. ⁓
