Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, all you faithfuls and traders, welcome into another
- 0:03Speaker 1: episode of By Order of the Faithfuls, Dancing with the Stars,
- 0:06Speaker 1: the Next Pro edition. Well's here alongside Dolores.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:10Speaker 1: I'm really loving the Next Pro I said it before,
- 0:15Speaker 1: I think I said it to Britt that I think
- 0:16Speaker 1: I like it more than Dancing with the Stars because
- 0:19Speaker 1: the quality of the dancing, albeit I don't know what
- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm talking about, is so much better than on the
- 0:25Speaker 1: other show.
- 0:25Speaker 2: So I like the quality of the dance.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Yeah, but I like to see people become something, become
- 0:32Speaker 3: a dancer from nothing. Yeah, That's why I get a
- 0:36Speaker 3: little upset sometimes when someone goes on the show and
- 0:41Speaker 3: wins because they have dance, like they have some experience
- 0:44Speaker 3: in dance, like Charlie Dimilio. Yeah was oh gott Blausers,
- 0:48Speaker 3: she's the cutest girl ever, lover. I'm glad she won,
- 0:50Speaker 3: But Gabby Wendy would have won had she not been,
- 0:55Speaker 3: you know, competing with someone who was a season dancer.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So yeah, it's true. But it also is a popularity contest,
- 1:04Speaker 1: you know. I've seen well that too, and I've seen
- 1:07Speaker 1: people who have beat out dancers who are technically trained
- 1:11Speaker 1: and are not as good because they are more popular.
- 1:14Speaker 1: But regardless, this show is very fun to watch and
- 1:18Speaker 1: also like not to get too insider baseball, but it's
- 1:22Speaker 1: fun to see. It always happens. And I don't know
- 1:24Speaker 1: if you experienced this, because so much of your reality
- 1:27Speaker 1: show is just like your your lives, but all the
- 1:30Speaker 1: reality shows that I do, there's always a point of
- 1:33Speaker 1: which everyone's exhausted. The hours have been long, it hasn't stopped.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Everyone kind of just like checks out. And I feel
- 1:41Speaker 1: like this was the episode, episode five where you realized
- 1:44Speaker 1: how much this is really taking out of the contestants.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but this is where I mean it weeds out
- 1:53Speaker 3: the winners, right, This is when it's when it's a contest,
- 1:58Speaker 3: when it's a game type of show. Oh yeah, it
- 2:02Speaker 3: does get It does wear you down mentally and physically.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Especially this is insane. I mean, not only are they
- 2:09Speaker 3: dancing all these hours a day, but it's a mental
- 2:12Speaker 3: anguish that they have too. Especially this episode was a
- 2:17Speaker 3: rough one to know that the person that you're getting
- 2:20Speaker 3: to be picked with can bring you down and make
- 2:23Speaker 3: you lose everything you've worked for because of the other person,
- 2:28Speaker 3: not just based on you.
- 2:29Speaker 2: That is a hard pill to swallow.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and obviously we'll get to what happens because the
- 2:36Speaker 1: ending is is very tough. But this episode was was
- 2:39Speaker 1: very fun. You see all these contestants really kind of
- 2:43Speaker 1: just started running out of gas in the tank, whether
- 2:45Speaker 1: it's emotional or physical. But also, like, if you think
- 2:49Speaker 1: about it, if the idea is to find someone that
- 2:51Speaker 1: can do the actual show, the actual show is going
- 2:55Speaker 1: to be much more right, Like, it's a lot more episodes,
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's probably a quicker window turnaround. It's also probably more
- 3:02Speaker 1: frustrating because you're teaching someone that doesn't really know how
- 3:05Speaker 1: to dance as well as you do. So I think
- 3:09Speaker 1: that like you're gonna be able to see who really
- 3:12Speaker 1: can do this thing and who maybe can't because of
- 3:17Speaker 1: the energy thing. But this episode is really fun. Daniella
- 3:21Speaker 1: is the guest judge, and Daniella perform an absolutely intense
- 3:26Speaker 1: dance right that was.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Unreal to me. Who did she dance with? Who was
- 3:31Speaker 2: that guy?
- 3:32Speaker 1: I don't know he was good at dancing, though.
- 3:35Speaker 2: He was good.
- 3:36Speaker 3: To be able to dance with her, you gotta be
- 3:38Speaker 3: really good, and and she was, like her moves were
- 3:42Speaker 3: so tight and precise, it's almost like subhuman.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It makes sense though when you look at her she
- 3:49Speaker 1: is ripped, like well.
- 3:50Speaker 3: That's the other thing, not an ounce of body fat,
- 3:52Speaker 3: but yeah, that is something that is one of the
- 3:55Speaker 3: main things I've always noticed about dancers and their bodies beautiful,
- 4:01Speaker 3: like everything there's not it out of fact, there's not
- 4:07Speaker 3: a wrinkle, a dimple, a beauty mark. Even I look
- 4:10Speaker 3: for like what's.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Like, how is that? And it's always very tan, which
- 4:15Speaker 2: I love.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Danielle's opening dance was insane, and you know,
- 4:23Speaker 1: it used like some iconic lifts and she was she
- 4:27Speaker 1: was trying to show the contestants these wow moments that
- 4:31Speaker 1: end up happening on the show, these kind of viral
- 4:34Speaker 1: moments that come out of the show, and wanting to
- 4:36Speaker 1: be able to figure out ways to incorporate those quote
- 4:39Speaker 1: unquote wow moments into a dance. So this week's dance
- 4:44Speaker 1: is contemporary dancers will have to perform one of the
- 4:47Speaker 1: three wow moments that Danielle put into her routine, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: they'll also need to come up with one of their own.
- 4:53Speaker 1: We've lost Tristan, Natalie, Jake, Benji, Stephanie, and Brier, so
- 5:03Speaker 1: all that's left in this competition is Adele, Alan, Selena,
- 5:09Speaker 1: eric Aj and Nina and everyone is extremely tired. And
- 5:15Speaker 1: I think that Robert and the producers are like, maybe
- 5:18Speaker 1: we need to like have a field trip and like
- 5:20Speaker 1: chill out, and they go to Robert's zoo. They go,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I guess the Australian.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Can you imagine having that as your zoo?
- 5:29Speaker 3: Like, the legacy of his dad is just and he
- 5:33Speaker 3: looks exactly like his father.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I mean, it's so crazy to look at him and
- 5:40Speaker 2: just to.
- 5:40Speaker 3: See what this man created and never got to enjoy,
- 5:43Speaker 3: which is such a shame, but it's beautiful.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say that Steve Irwin definitely, you know,
- 5:51Speaker 1: walks alongside his son.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, as long as he's there, his dad is there.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and like you can feel his dad's spirit with
- 5:58Speaker 1: just how excited he is about Remember his dad was
- 6:01Speaker 1: always just so excited about animals.
- 6:02Speaker 3: He was very Yeah, he was very gregarious and excited
- 6:06Speaker 3: about everything. He could be talking about like a pencil
- 6:09Speaker 3: and the guy would be like.
- 6:11Speaker 2: He was just wonderful.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, he was great. You know, it's funny. Actually, sidebar,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I went and played golf with Alfonso Robero yesterday and
- 6:21Speaker 1: he's obviously the host of the main show, and we
- 6:23Speaker 1: were talking about this and I was just like, it's
- 6:26Speaker 1: really nice. How I was like, are you watching this show?
- 6:29Speaker 1: And he was like, I've been on vacation, but yes,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I'm catching up right now. And I was like, it's
- 6:34Speaker 1: just so fun to watch Robert host this show. He
- 6:38Speaker 1: reminds me a lot of you, Alfonso, which is like
- 6:41Speaker 1: so much like vigor and like excitement to do the
- 6:44Speaker 1: thing right.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So I thought that was He's a great host.
- 6:48Speaker 1: He's so good.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Was he like that on the golf course too? Yeah?
- 6:52Speaker 1: And he beat me? Actually, oh he did. Yeah, he
- 6:55Speaker 1: took some money off of me.
- 6:56Speaker 2: But I'm sorry to hear that, I know, but it
- 6:59Speaker 2: was fun.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm sure I have a match against him on Saturday.
- 7:02Speaker 2: You better win. Don't come back. If you lose, I'll
- 7:05Speaker 2: kick your ass.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Okay, he's very good at golf.
- 7:08Speaker 2: But you better win otherwise you're getting to be in.
- 7:10Speaker 1: All right, I'll do my best. Did you think that
- 7:12Speaker 1: going to the zoo was was kind of weird or
- 7:16Speaker 1: was it fun to like grab inspiration from the animals.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I think it was very fine to grab inspiration and
- 7:24Speaker 3: all my life what I know through my daughter who's
- 7:27Speaker 3: a veterinarian. Is animals ground her? And that is what
- 7:32Speaker 3: I was told very early on about her and why
- 7:35Speaker 3: she will always have animals in her life.
- 7:37Speaker 2: They're very grounding, they're very peaceful.
- 7:41Speaker 3: And I and you know, I think it would there
- 7:45Speaker 3: is no better place to have brought these people who
- 7:47Speaker 3: are mentally and physically drained than there and to be
- 7:52Speaker 3: standing next to a beautiful rhino like that. And he
- 7:56Speaker 3: used reference like he's like, this rhino.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Could be crazy, but he chooses not to.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Yeah, So that I think was the most strong statement
- 8:05Speaker 3: of that whole trip.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Fun correlations between the animals and the dancers. Daniella
- 8:11Speaker 1: meets with the dancers for their first rehearsal. She tells
- 8:14Speaker 1: him that they'll be dancing in couples this week. Since
- 8:18Speaker 1: the girls chose last week, the boys will be choosing
- 8:20Speaker 1: this week. So the boys walk over to the girl
- 8:23Speaker 1: they want to partner up with. It feels very middle
- 8:26Speaker 1: school Dodgeballie Again, I.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Always got never got picked for Dodgeball. I definitely had
- 8:32Speaker 3: a little bit of a PTSD watched.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I was like, Nina, was you in this episode? I
- 8:39Speaker 1: My heart broke for Alan chooses Adele aj and Eric
- 8:43Speaker 1: choose Selena, no one chooses Nina. Since the boys pick Selena,
- 8:47Speaker 1: she has to choose between the two of them. Selena
- 8:50Speaker 1: kind of like breaks down here, which was which was interesting.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And I don't know if she doesn't want to hurt
- 8:55Speaker 1: someone's feelings or she's just emotionally drained or.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think both.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I also think it's the pressure, right, Like that's the
- 9:02Speaker 1: thing that she's known for, is contemporary, and she doesn't
- 9:05Speaker 1: want to be She needs to be able to produce
- 9:10Speaker 1: because that's what everyone's expecting her to do. I think
- 9:13Speaker 1: it's more pressure.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I think Selena is so good, by the way, like amazing.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I look at her as winning.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm not surprised she went with Eric because I thought
- 9:24Speaker 1: Eric had a really good episode last week and he
- 9:27Speaker 1: danced really, really well. She apologizes to AJ, so AJ
- 9:32Speaker 1: will now have Nina as a partner, and he's nervous
- 9:35Speaker 1: because Nina has never done contemporary and it's not in
- 9:38Speaker 1: his comfort zone at all, and also Nina's kind of
- 9:41Speaker 1: been at the bottom of the voting scheme for the
- 9:44Speaker 1: past couple of weeks.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I think she's not bad, though, I think she does
- 9:49Speaker 2: pull through.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, she's I think she's very, very talented, but yeah,
- 9:56Speaker 1: she she hasn't danced as strong as Selena in is
- 9:59Speaker 1: adel though.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I think, no, she hasn't. Yeah, but she's gonna have to.
- 10:13Speaker 1: In Alan and Adele's rehearsal Adele isn't feeling comfortable and contemporary.
- 10:17Speaker 1: She's not used to the flips and the tricks that
- 10:19Speaker 1: go along with it. Don't forget she's the Rolls Royce
- 10:23Speaker 1: of this show.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So I'm not sure that's what they call. That's what Yeah,
- 10:27Speaker 2: that's what she's called.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Selena and Eric are excited to work together. Selena
- 10:31Speaker 1: feels confident since contemporary is her speciality, and then back
- 10:36Speaker 1: of the House of contestants, her feeling especially drain. Selena
- 10:38Speaker 1: is really feeling the pressure to impress the judges this week.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's why I think that she was crying was because
- 10:43Speaker 1: of this pressure. When she had to choose between the men,
- 10:47Speaker 1: and Adele breaks down because of the stress. Alan reminds
- 10:50Speaker 1: her to never forget her worth. It seems like everything
- 10:55Speaker 1: is crumbling in the house.
- 10:56Speaker 2: It does it does?
- 10:58Speaker 3: It seems like the pressure, the mental exhaustion, mental and
- 11:02Speaker 3: physical exhaustion is getting the best of everybody. Yeah, this
- 11:07Speaker 3: has been going on. They're there, what five weeks now, like.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, well we're in the fifth episode. Yeah, so you
- 11:12Speaker 1: got to think they're doing an episode a.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Week, That's what I'm figuring. That's a lot.
- 11:18Speaker 3: And then it gets you know, they're also seeing the
- 11:22Speaker 3: people around them drop off.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so the feel of the fact that you could
- 11:30Speaker 2: be that.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Next person is getting closer and it's getting more real,
- 11:34Speaker 3: and that's a scary thing.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It's also got to be kind of hard to see
- 11:39Speaker 1: people go home that you think is good, really yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: to answer, because then you've got to start questioning yourself
- 11:46Speaker 1: and like, well, should I even be here because they
- 11:48Speaker 1: were great and I'm still you know.
- 11:50Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking. So if you don't, so you
- 11:53Speaker 3: can't be I feel like, here's the thing. You can't
- 11:56Speaker 3: be too confident, right, because then you don't work as hard.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but you need to be.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Confident enough not to let your feelings get the best
- 12:04Speaker 3: of you. Because what I've noticed is even when Tristan
- 12:08Speaker 3: he got emotional, he got a little moody, he got
- 12:11Speaker 3: a little nasty, and I and even in other shows
- 12:16Speaker 3: that we've talked about Survivor also things like that. What
- 12:20Speaker 3: I'm starting to notice in the pattern is when you
- 12:23Speaker 3: let your emotions get the best of you.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Rehearsal Day two, Daniella has advice for each couple,
- 12:30Speaker 1: but she seems impressed overall. However, she's concerned that Selena
- 12:34Speaker 1: and Eric don't have their own wow moment yet. How
- 12:37Speaker 1: much did this surprise you? Because it's the entire brief.
- 12:41Speaker 1: This week's whole thing is having a wow moment. You're
- 12:44Speaker 1: supposed to be the contemporary answer. Are you surprised they
- 12:47Speaker 1: don't have a wow moment at this point?
- 12:49Speaker 2: I am? Yeah, because I expected it from them before anyone.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I was thinking about the week before where Alan got
- 12:56Speaker 1: a lot of crap from Shirley about not king to
- 13:00Speaker 1: the brief because he kind of went to a bunch
- 13:02Speaker 1: of different dances and didn't stick to the one thing.
- 13:05Speaker 1: It's obviously something that these judges are really really pointing
- 13:08Speaker 1: out to me. If I'm choreographing this thing, I'm thinking
- 13:12Speaker 1: we need to have the one thing that they want
- 13:15Speaker 1: in first, and then we'll work on everything else. Right.
- 13:18Speaker 3: The judges didn't like it that they took it on themselves. Yeah,
- 13:22Speaker 3: they thought, like almost the judges, I think find it
- 13:25Speaker 3: kind of offensive. Like, you, who are you to do
- 13:31Speaker 3: something other than what I.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Told you to do?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're looking for that that move, They're looking
- 13:37Speaker 3: for that part of the dance, and when it's not there,
- 13:40Speaker 3: you have to say to yourself, well, they're thinking about
- 13:43Speaker 3: what they didn't see, not about what they saw. So
- 13:46Speaker 3: you only hurt yourself by thinking you're smarter than the judge.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I agree. I was like really kind of very much
- 13:53Speaker 1: surprised that Selena went this route. I assumed that they
- 13:56Speaker 1: were going to figure something out and then we'll get
- 13:58Speaker 1: to whether or not they did. Also, at this point
- 14:00Speaker 1: of the show where you start realizing how much of
- 14:04Speaker 1: a toll this is taking on them physically. I mean
- 14:06Speaker 1: Adele who the rolls Royce. She's to me, I think
- 14:09Speaker 1: she's the best dancer, and I think she's gonna win
- 14:11Speaker 1: this thing. But then all of a sudden you see
- 14:13Speaker 1: her feet. You know she's been dancing, she's never really
- 14:15Speaker 1: danced blisters, but they are blistered to hell.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean dancers, I feel like they know how
- 14:25Speaker 3: to take a beating on their body.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I do not suffer well these days. Any type of
- 14:31Speaker 3: discomfort for me is I'm not having it, So I
- 14:37Speaker 3: certainly wouldn't be achy. Are dealing with a blister on
- 14:42Speaker 3: my foot? No, I'm over it, but at this point
- 14:46Speaker 3: they have to suck through it.
- 14:48Speaker 1: It's the most important thing for a dancer their feet, right,
- 14:53Speaker 1: Like the whole thing is starts at their feet. That's
- 14:56Speaker 1: like a boxer having a broken hand trying to fright,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know. And so I guess what I'm trying to
- 15:03Speaker 1: say is I'm even more impressed after seeing what her
- 15:05Speaker 1: feet look like that she was able to do what
- 15:07Speaker 1: she does later, because it looks really like if I
- 15:10Speaker 1: get just a little blister on like the back of
- 15:12Speaker 1: my heel, she's, you know, forget it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Aj leaves the room in tears during the rehearsal with Nina.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She's able to comfort him and tells her how much
- 15:23Speaker 1: she's learning from her. I don't know if you picked
- 15:26Speaker 1: up on this, but I was wondering if the reason
- 15:29Speaker 1: why Aj started freaking out was he was worried that
- 15:33Speaker 1: because he was with Nina, they were going to be
- 15:36Speaker 1: the ones that were going home.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it makes sense.
- 15:39Speaker 1: It didn't seem like he was questioning himself. It seemed
- 15:42Speaker 1: like he was questioning whether or not he was going
- 15:44Speaker 1: to be able to stick around. But she was able to,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know, kind of motivate him and say, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I've got you, You've got me, and then to be
- 15:52Speaker 1: honest with you, to fast forward boy or boy? Did
- 15:55Speaker 1: they pay it off?
- 15:56Speaker 2: Oh?
- 15:58Speaker 1: But you know he's he's sacrificed a lot to be
- 16:01Speaker 1: on this show. You know.
- 16:02Speaker 2: No, he moved his wedding, I know.
- 16:06Speaker 3: But this is the thing that you do when you
- 16:09Speaker 3: get an opportunity like this, When does it come around again?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Wedding you can move. You can't move an opportunity to
- 16:17Speaker 3: be on a show.
- 16:19Speaker 1: And if you're going to be in show business, which
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm in and my wife's sin, the number one rule
- 16:25Speaker 1: that we've always had is that work always comes first.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And he's got to start learning this if he's going
- 16:31Speaker 1: to win this thing and become the next Prole and
- 16:33Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars.
- 16:34Speaker 2: You know, so you think he might.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I think he's really really talented, and I think his
- 16:40Speaker 1: the whole thing is ballroom, which I know is a
- 16:42Speaker 1: big part of Dancing with the Stars. I think that
- 16:46Speaker 1: if I'm looking between Eric Allen and AJ, I think
- 16:49Speaker 1: that AJ might be the most talented guy. But I mean,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I told you before I think Adele's going to win
- 16:57Speaker 1: this thing. I just I haven't seen her dance yet
- 17:00Speaker 1: and I can't imagine she will. And this was the
- 17:04Speaker 1: hardest week for her because she didn't do contemporary and
- 17:06Speaker 1: boil boy did she show out. So I guess we'll
- 17:09Speaker 1: see it's show night. AJ and Nina go first. You know,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I've been noticing where they're placing people's dances in terms
- 17:20Speaker 1: of how they're getting voted off. In the beginning, the
- 17:25Speaker 1: best Oh, here.
- 17:26Speaker 3: You go with your conspiracy. Okay, let's hear it.
- 17:30Speaker 1: In the beginning, the best dancers were going last, and
- 17:33Speaker 1: then in the coming weeks, the best dancers were going.
- 17:36Speaker 2: First, and so I did notice that.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And now I'm wondering. Okay, so in my mind, I'm
- 17:41Speaker 1: thinking that Nina and AJ might be the weakest team,
- 17:47Speaker 1: just because the other guys. No one picked Nina right.
- 17:52Speaker 1: But they come out and they dance to Only Human
- 17:56Speaker 1: and I thought that was one of the best dances
- 17:59Speaker 1: that Nina's done all year long, and I was blown away.
- 18:05Speaker 3: I I thought she really showed up for this dance,
- 18:11Speaker 3: and I think she really impressed the judges, and it
- 18:13Speaker 3: made me look at her differently.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I one hundred percent agree. You know, Mark loved
- 18:23Speaker 1: the moment that Nina fell back and fully trusted AJ.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's got to be a terrifying thing. I mean they're
- 18:27Speaker 1: all professional dancers, but like you just really trust falling
- 18:30Speaker 1: on stageful and.
- 18:32Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And if he misses, Yeah, if you get hurt, you're
- 18:36Speaker 3: done here. Yeah, it's it's a dangerous it's a sport,
- 18:40Speaker 3: and it's a dangerous sport. You could someone could drop you,
- 18:44Speaker 3: you could fall on your head, you could break a limb,
- 18:47Speaker 3: you could wear your bones out, you could wear your
- 18:49Speaker 3: feet out.
- 18:49Speaker 2: This is not this is for me a sport.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Oh absolutely. I thought it was interesting what Daniella said
- 18:57Speaker 1: about Aj and Nina's dances that they understood the assignment,
- 19:02Speaker 1: which is a little bit foreshadowing of some dancers going forward.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Didn't.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Didn't. But she also loved the Koala move, which I
- 19:12Speaker 1: actually really liked that one too.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Where they're all twisted together hugging and spinning.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I thought they did a really good job of having
- 19:19Speaker 1: not one but two while moments and so like I
- 19:23Speaker 1: understand the assignment, even going above and beyond, you know.
- 19:25Speaker 3: So they were the surprise to me. I didn't expect it. Yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 3: and they were the surprise to the judges too. It
- 19:32Speaker 3: must be hard watching like a really good couple go
- 19:36Speaker 3: before you, yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 2: And being like, how the hell am I going to
- 19:39Speaker 2: beat that?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so true. They even say something in the
- 19:42Speaker 1: in the green room where they're watching. It's like, it's
- 19:46Speaker 1: weird there's only four of us in here now, you know,
- 19:47Speaker 1: like it used to be a ton of people in there,
- 19:49Speaker 1: and now you're getting down to the nitty gritty. The
- 19:52Speaker 1: toughest critic always is Surely, and Surely thought Aj came
- 19:56Speaker 1: out of his comfort zone in the dance and that
- 19:58Speaker 1: Nina had great music. Reality. All in all, I'm sitting
- 20:02Speaker 1: there thinking, well, I thought that they were going to
- 20:03Speaker 1: be the weak team, but it looks like they might
- 20:05Speaker 1: be the strongest team this week. It's interesting how quickly
- 20:08Speaker 1: things can flip around on this show.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It is because you never know who.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Who has the intestinal fortitude to actually dig deep to
- 20:21Speaker 3: get through and like be like, all right, I'm gonna
- 20:24Speaker 3: some not everybody has that, or not everybody has it
- 20:27Speaker 3: at that certain time.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Right. So I think that Nina came through. She just did.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I didn't look at her in the beginning as she
- 20:36Speaker 2: would be the best dnswer.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's been in the bottom of the show
- 20:41Speaker 1: voting for a couple of weeks now, but she showed out.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I think at this point everyone's good, so you just
- 20:47Speaker 1: never know who's going to be the one who kind
- 20:50Speaker 1: of like is the week Lincoln.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Goes exactly right now, whoever's left is really winners, Right,
- 20:57Speaker 3: it's going to be a very small fraction of a
- 21:00Speaker 3: thing that's going to separate them. So they have to
- 21:03Speaker 3: figure out what's that little like splitting a hair on
- 21:08Speaker 3: how they're going to be better than the next person.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, because the best is left.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Speaking of the best, Alan and Adele perform all that
- 21:17Speaker 1: really matters. I once again, I'm just like kind of
- 21:21Speaker 1: blown away by Adele's dancing acumen, and I thought Alan
- 21:24Speaker 1: really compliments her. Well, this isn't the first time they've
- 21:27Speaker 1: danced together. Mark love the Alan Copter move they came
- 21:30Speaker 1: up with. He was extremely impressed that this was Adele's
- 21:33Speaker 1: first contemporary dance and he calls her a diamond. So
- 21:37Speaker 1: now she's a Rolls Royce and a diamond.
- 21:39Speaker 3: A diamond, I feel like she's the favorite. I don't
- 21:42Speaker 3: hear them pegging names for other people.
- 21:45Speaker 1: No, surely thinks Adele is beyond a diamond. She calls
- 21:48Speaker 1: her one of the best female dancers she's ever seen
- 21:51Speaker 1: in that's huge. I mean, there's a part of me
- 21:55Speaker 1: that's like, hey, let's cut that out of the show,
- 21:57Speaker 1: because it almost seems like you're anointing her as the
- 22:00Speaker 1: winner already.
- 22:01Speaker 3: You know, right, But honestly, what does that do for
- 22:06Speaker 3: the other dancers? When you say, do you have to
- 22:09Speaker 3: make that statement as a judge? I understand you could say,
- 22:13Speaker 3: whatever the hell you want, You've earned your you've earned
- 22:16Speaker 3: your you know, spot there because you are as good
- 22:19Speaker 3: as you are. But do you have to say that
- 22:25Speaker 3: because things like that can really take somebody else down.
- 22:28Speaker 2: YEA, For me, that would not motivate me to be better.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I guess the other the other option
- 22:37Speaker 1: could be true, or it would motivate someone to be like,
- 22:40Speaker 1: I think I'm better than her. I need to approve
- 22:41Speaker 1: it and light a fire into their ass, right, who knows?
- 22:45Speaker 1: I agree with you? Like, I don't know if you
- 22:47Speaker 1: needed to say that. Maybe you could say that at
- 22:49Speaker 1: the end, when you're giving her a trophy or whatever.
- 22:52Speaker 2: The end, say it at the end.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Up. Next and last is Eric and Selena.
- 23:05Speaker 1: You know Selena obviously this is her Wheelhouse Contemporary Dance
- 23:08Speaker 1: A dance too, you stole the show. The judges noticed
- 23:12Speaker 1: that they did not incorporate their own wow movement. Surely
- 23:15Speaker 1: thinks that Eric needs to let himself go and she
- 23:18Speaker 1: expected more from Selena. Mark thought everything was quality dancing
- 23:22Speaker 1: and their wow moment being stillness is subjective. Danielle thought
- 23:27Speaker 1: they looked like two pros out there, but again she
- 23:29Speaker 1: didn't think they completed the challenge today. Are you surprised
- 23:33Speaker 1: that they didn't do the one thing that they were
- 23:35Speaker 1: supposed to do in this dance?
- 23:37Speaker 2: For some reason? I'm not m.
- 23:41Speaker 1: When I hear our wow moment was stillness. I hear like.
- 23:48Speaker 2: They were giving them something to say because they had
- 23:50Speaker 2: nothing else to.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Say, Like when I would like make something up in
- 23:54Speaker 1: class to like.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like you give them something like Mark was
- 23:59Speaker 3: I feel like Mark trying to be nice?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah? Mark? Okay? Sureley's like the Simon Cowell.
- 24:07Speaker 2: You know, she's the mom.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Mark is.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Paula, you know, and then who's Danielle?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Uh, Daniella, I guess would be Randy, you know. Uh yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 1: like complimentary, but you know.
- 24:28Speaker 2: But not over the top.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not going to give you something.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I will say this about Mark and his mother. I
- 24:36Speaker 1: think they need their own reality show because they are
- 24:39Speaker 1: fighting concerts.
- 24:40Speaker 2: They really are. Yeah, they really really are, and I
- 24:44Speaker 2: kind of like it.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, the results are in. Shirley asked Selena
- 24:49Speaker 1: and Eric whose idea was to not do the thing
- 24:51Speaker 1: that they asked him to do. Eric says he takes
- 24:53Speaker 1: joint responsibility, and Selena is hesitant at first, but she
- 24:57Speaker 1: ultimately agrees with him.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Listen, they're both in it together. Yeah, they both had
- 25:04Speaker 3: to agree to that at some point right there. It's
- 25:07Speaker 3: a joint it's a joint decision they both had to take.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I feel like they both had to take responsibility. Doesn't
- 25:13Speaker 3: matter who's taking responsibility. One's going home because of the
- 25:17Speaker 3: other anyway, So you might as well leave on a
- 25:20Speaker 3: high and say we both did it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Yeah. The judges place Eric and Selena in the bottom two.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Eric is sent home. All the other dancers begin to cry,
- 25:34Speaker 1: especially Alan. He kind of like loses it and then
- 25:36Speaker 1: they say they're goodbyes. Are you surprised that it was
- 25:38Speaker 1: Eric that went home?
- 25:40Speaker 2: No, Yeah, no, I'm not. Who do you think is
- 25:43Speaker 2: going home next?
- 25:44Speaker 1: It's not Adele.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I think it's Selena.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You think it's Selena. Yeah, it's got to be a girl.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You gotta think that, right, Like.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I'm thinking it's Selena because of this this dance. Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 3: I feel like the dance that you do as a
- 25:59Speaker 3: couple kind of like, I don't know, it kind of
- 26:04Speaker 3: puts a bad light on you if you don't do
- 26:05Speaker 3: well with somebody till the next dance.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I agree, And I also, I don't know. There's also
- 26:12Speaker 1: part of me that wonders if Nina can dance as
- 26:18Speaker 1: well as Selena can next week. I feel like it's
- 26:21Speaker 1: between those two, and I do think it will be
- 26:23Speaker 1: a woman because then they'll make the teams even between
- 26:26Speaker 1: guys and girls. Obviously, I think that Adele is the best,
- 26:31Speaker 1: and I think that you think that, and I think
- 26:32Speaker 1: that Shirley thinks that. But for the guys, who do
- 26:35Speaker 1: you think is like the leader in the clubhouse?
- 26:39Speaker 2: It's hard to tell.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we've only got two left. You got
- 26:44Speaker 1: Aj and you got Alan.
- 26:46Speaker 2: See Alan made the mistake of like I.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Think Alan is two cocky sometimes, so that might hurt him.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I think that Alan is a really good partner.
- 27:06Speaker 2: He's a good partner, yes, and he.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Lets like whoever he's dancing with all up usually Adele
- 27:13Speaker 1: really really shine. I think that Aj probably is more
- 27:17Speaker 1: technically Sally, But it's really going to probably come down
- 27:22Speaker 1: to you know, who you're dancing with there at the end.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Next week is gonna be very interesting. They're bringing in
- 27:31Speaker 1: civilians who aren't dancers to come in to dance with everyone.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's crazy to me.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I think if you're a really good dancer, you
- 27:39Speaker 3: can make somebody else look like they're good. I take
- 27:41Speaker 3: back that I said Aj Allan was cocky. I just
- 27:44Speaker 3: feel like he made a mistake when he decided to
- 27:46Speaker 3: do his own moves and he got in trouble that time, and.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I think that was.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I don't I don't know if kacky is the right word,
- 27:54Speaker 3: but I think that was just a really huge mistake
- 27:57Speaker 3: in the way that I look at him now, you know.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe bold it was very yeah to do.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to be really humble in this setting.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough. Anyways, this is such a fun show.
- 28:12Speaker 1: If you guys aren't watching Dancing with U starts next
- 28:14Speaker 1: pro you need to get on it, because like, I
- 28:16Speaker 1: don't care about dance at all, and I'm completely entrenched
- 28:19Speaker 1: in this whole thing. This is gonna be fun. The
- 28:25Speaker 1: last word, Dolores, who wins this thing?
- 28:30Speaker 2: I don't know. Adele, Adele, I'm gonna go with Adele.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Okay, I agree with you. You know what. I think they're
- 28:37Speaker 1: gonna do what. I think they're gonna have two winners.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Think they're having a guy and a girl, and I think.
- 28:42Speaker 3: You do do They didn't tell us they were doing that.
- 28:45Speaker 1: That's not fair, I know, but I think that's the twist,
- 28:47Speaker 1: is that someone loses and then they're like, but hold on,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and I think it's gonna be if.
- 28:51Speaker 2: They do that. I'm gonna make you tell my future.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Okay, we'll see.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Uh.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Speaking of our futures, you know, this whole show started
- 29:02Speaker 1: with talking about Traders because we were on that show
- 29:05Speaker 1: and Delora's Whu famously won season three, which we found
- 29:08Speaker 1: out that Trader's new Blood is coming back on September seventeenth.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Are you excited to see civilians coming up?
- 29:15Speaker 2: So excited? I cannot wait?
- 29:17Speaker 3: Has there been an all civilian one in in the US?
- 29:22Speaker 3: In the US, I don't know never, so this should
- 29:26Speaker 3: be really interesting to see how the civilian US people
- 29:32Speaker 3: handle themselves.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm curious.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be fun, you know. I think in
- 29:36Speaker 1: season one they had celebrities and civilians.
- 29:39Speaker 2: They mixed it.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and this kh has stayed was with the civilians.
- 29:43Speaker 2: It was so funny.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I like this because we don't get to come into
- 29:50Speaker 1: the castle with the show with preconceived notions of people
- 29:54Speaker 1: because we don't know them.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Right, We don't know that they haven't been sitting in
- 30:00Speaker 3: watching every game show since.
- 30:03Speaker 2: They were five.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, like you don't know who's coming in, not knowing
- 30:07Speaker 3: what the hell you know.
- 30:08Speaker 2: That they picked.
- 30:10Speaker 3: They picked people of all different like people that know
- 30:15Speaker 3: the shows, people that don't.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Then there's the people that lied.
- 30:19Speaker 3: How would you know if they're lying, You're none the
- 30:21Speaker 3: wiser of somebody writing in and saying, oh, I'm just
- 30:25Speaker 3: a regular civilian. Meanwhile, they've masterminded every single video game
- 30:31Speaker 3: game show, fifty years of Survivor, Like, you just don't know.
- 30:37Speaker 3: So these people are even not transparent, possibly to the
- 30:44Speaker 3: people who chose them as well. So think about that,
- 30:47Speaker 3: you it is it is for everyone.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be fun. To watch this one, coming
- 30:54Speaker 1: in with zero preconceived notions of these people and see
- 30:57Speaker 1: who really kind of shines, And you got to think
- 30:59Speaker 1: that what's what's gonna end up happening is that there
- 31:02Speaker 1: will be some breakout stars from this show that will
- 31:05Speaker 1: then become celebrities because of the show, and then we'll
- 31:08Speaker 1: be back in, you know, in the castle in years
- 31:11Speaker 1: to come. That's what I assume is going to happen.
- 31:14Speaker 1: But mark your guys' calendar September seventeenth, Trader's new Blood
- 31:17Speaker 1: will be coming back. If you're not following us on
- 31:19Speaker 1: social media, please do it by order the Faithfuls on Instagram,
- 31:22Speaker 1: dm us. Any questions, concerns, comments that you've got for
- 31:27Speaker 1: the show, we'll read them on And I believe in
- 31:29Speaker 1: the next episode I'm gonna be sitting down one on
- 31:31Speaker 1: one with the lady who went home last week, Stephanie Sosa,
- 31:35Speaker 1: So make sure you are listening for that.
- 31:38Speaker 2: She's so good. Tell her I think she's amazing. Yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 2: she got great hair too, she does, she really does.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Dolores, have a lovely day. It's good to see your face.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Good to see your face, your cute face. See you soon,
- 31:51Speaker 2: see you guys,
