- 0:50Speaker 1: excited to wear, but it's a one hundred degrees.
- 0:53Speaker 4: I don't ever remember wearing a hoodie as a kid
- 0:55Speaker 4: literally ever. I mean, maybe like in December.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Well I mean maybe not a but I had like
- 1:00Speaker 1: a maybe a back to school starter jacket that I
- 1:03Speaker 1: wanted to wear.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Okay, you know, like it was cool back in the day.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Canvas, Yeah, no, it definitely was.
- 1:08Speaker 2: What did you wear first day at school.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I mean something. I tried to look like studious on
- 1:12Speaker 4: the first day for some reason, you know, like because
- 1:14Speaker 4: all the movies and like girls and movies were like
- 1:17Speaker 4: wearing glasses and like collared shirts and loafers. At some
- 1:20Speaker 4: point I remember either that or like super I play soccer.
- 1:24Speaker 4: I look like I play soccer, but I don't play soccer.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I went I went through that phase in like seventh
- 1:29Speaker 1: and eighth grade where you thought I was a soccer
- 1:31Speaker 1: player because I had a data show fifth and.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Sixth Everyone thought I played soccer because I loved wearing
- 1:35Speaker 4: Gazelle's But I'm like, nope, never even touched a soccer
- 1:38Speaker 4: me too.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I wore bros.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I thought I was so cool. I still think that.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I'm still not. So It's fine. That was your weekend.
- 1:47Speaker 4: It was good, But let me tell you all why.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I felt like a ticking time bomb last night and
- 1:52Speaker 4: I slept with a trash bag next to me. But
- 1:55Speaker 4: last night I almost texted you guys just to heads up,
- 1:59Speaker 4: why are you putting this?
- 2:01Speaker 2: I just feel like it's dramatic.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Well, yeah, so I I bought two pounds of ground
- 2:07Speaker 4: beef when when Eric's family was here last week his
- 2:14Speaker 4: brother and his wife and their two girls were in town,
- 2:16Speaker 4: and I've bought like really high quality meat, two pounds.
- 2:19Speaker 4: We're gonna cook it this week. Well, they ended up
- 2:21Speaker 4: going to the grocery store last week because you know,
- 2:23Speaker 4: they wanted to make hamburgers. Well they came back with
- 2:26Speaker 4: like pre made patties, right, yeah, okay, we had two
- 2:29Speaker 4: pounds of you know, grass fed.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Beef in the kitchen, which is not even that much.
- 2:34Speaker 1: By the way, you're acting like two pounds just.
- 2:36Speaker 4: A lot for us. Well, that's like a lot of
- 2:38Speaker 4: meat for us.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I could knock out a pound by myself.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Would.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Like an eight year old, and he's a iffy on
- 2:45Speaker 4: how much he eat because he snacks so much. Anyways,
- 2:49Speaker 4: the meat didn't get cooked last week, so I cooked
- 2:51Speaker 4: it last night. I ate The guys weren't ready to eat, so,
- 2:55Speaker 4: you know, later on they're like they taste the meat
- 2:58Speaker 4: and they're like, hey, what did you season this way?
- 3:01Speaker 4: And I was like, well, all the regular things, salt, pepper,
- 3:07Speaker 4: you know, garlic, I love.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, No, it bad.
- 3:12Speaker 4: They were like, I don't think this meat is good.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Taste it, and I was like, well, yeah, I ate it.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I made a whole bowl of it with some like
- 3:20Speaker 4: other things. I made myself look just like a bowl.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 4: So they didn't eat it, and there were he was like,
- 3:25Speaker 4: Eric was like, immediately, Enzo, stop eating it. I don't
- 3:28Speaker 4: think it's good. I have a metallic taste in my mouth.
- 3:31Speaker 4: And then they're like, He's like, I don't even think
- 3:33Speaker 4: Brewster would eat this meat. And I was like, well,
- 3:34Speaker 4: I gave him two little bites.
- 3:36Speaker 6: He ate it.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Oh no, anyway, So I'm just feel like at any moment,
- 3:40Speaker 4: I might just get like, you know, super sick to
- 3:43Speaker 4: my stomach. I'm fine for now, but I Google, I'm like,
- 3:47Speaker 4: how long after eating bad meat will you get sick?
- 3:49Speaker 4: And it's like four to twenty four hours. So we're
- 3:53Speaker 4: right at about twelve hours right now.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Well, so during the show this to get bad, I
- 3:58Speaker 2: don't think so.
- 3:58Speaker 4: I think I would have gotten sick already.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I don't know, but I was.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Nervous laying there, like I should let the guys know.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Heads up, you may I may not be at work tomorrow.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Taste it to sniff test, Yeah, yeah, I nod. You
- 4:13Speaker 2: can smell it. I don't know. Sometimes you can't. But
- 4:16Speaker 2: why is it that if you just bought it.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Well, I looked at the date and it said best
- 4:19Speaker 4: by the eighth, which would have been Saturday. Geez, so
- 4:22Speaker 4: I could take one day late.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh you're fine, right, You're okay.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I think I'm fine, but they have you sure wasn't
- 4:29Speaker 4: freaked out July eighth. Anyways, I slept with the trash
- 4:34Speaker 4: bag next to me in case I just woke up.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Four of us.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Well, we'll be on a Candice watch just in case
- 4:40Speaker 2: things start going crazy. It will be. It will be
- 4:43Speaker 2: on standby to do Texas Top stories.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, just my laptop.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'd rather get food poisoning that that happens, all right, producer,
- 4:54Speaker 1: what with you, y'all? I went to my first art
- 4:56Speaker 1: show on Saturday.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Oh cool.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 5: I went to Tea Galleries down off Riverfront, and let
- 5:03Speaker 5: me tell you, I want to get my art on.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Seriously.
- 5:06Speaker 5: I saw like these pictures were selling for four and
- 5:09Speaker 5: five thousand, yeah, and it was like, yeah, it was
- 5:12Speaker 5: like photos.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I was like, man, me and Billy could do this.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Don't include me and Yo.
- 5:17Speaker 1: No, I'm telling you, I'm telling you photos.
- 5:19Speaker 2: What do you mean if photos just took a picture.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Somebody took a picture and then they drew a disco
- 5:24Speaker 5: ball on it and called it disco awesome. They called
- 5:27Speaker 5: it discohead, And so for five thousand, I was like, wow,
- 5:31Speaker 5: you have it. It's probably a reputable artist.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 5:35Speaker 2: So, I mean you got to start somewhere and people
- 5:38Speaker 2: don't have to want it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you got to start small.
- 5:40Speaker 5: But even the prints, these little doodles were going for
- 5:43Speaker 5: three hundred and fifty dollars.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Shout out to Tanner quick, Yeah, what up, Tanner? Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: real quick? What made you go to this art show?
- 5:50Speaker 1: Because I'm curious.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Oh, my friend Amber knew it. I knew it. Ladies
- 5:55Speaker 2: had to be a girl involved.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but she has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend had some
- 5:58Speaker 5: artwork there. Let me tell you there's a different breed
- 6:02Speaker 5: of girl. I don't want to call them breed, but
- 6:04Speaker 5: there's a different type of girl that goes to.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Art show for sure. Yeah, I got it.
- 6:07Speaker 4: You gotta step your.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Game up like what I do. Because they were not
- 6:12Speaker 1: giving how did you describe the artwork? That's the key
- 6:15Speaker 1: is you got to describe the artwork and like how
- 6:17Speaker 1: how it makes you feel and not just the way
- 6:19Speaker 1: it looks of course. Yeah, I know, I saw What.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Did you do? Did you talk to the ladies and describe?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Talked to a couple of them. But I wasn't dressed appropriate?
- 6:27Speaker 2: What were you dressed?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Ass?
- 6:30Speaker 7: I had?
- 6:30Speaker 5: I had on well, I thought I was cool. I
- 6:32Speaker 5: had on a Dolly Dolly Parton T shirt. I got
- 6:35Speaker 5: a Walmart little stylish dollar shirt.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Lord. Yeah, some jeans and.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Some brand new around with trays with drinks.
- 6:46Speaker 1: They had drinks and and oh man, little hoarders and
- 6:50Speaker 1: stuff like that. But I saw some of the guys.
- 6:53Speaker 1: There were some guys in some cargo shorts.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But they were rich.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I know they were because I saw them.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I saw their cars.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I looked president, did you did you buy anything?
- 7:03Speaker 2: No?
- 7:03Speaker 1: No, everything was out of my price.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Even a little doodle sticker was one hundred and fifty dollars.
- 7:09Speaker 5: I was like, yeah, I sware, Yeah, yeah it was
- 7:14Speaker 5: it's not bro. I was like, oh, but I want
- 7:17Speaker 5: to go back. I don't want to go back because
- 7:18Speaker 5: I saw a lot of ladies over there.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Well you got it, okay, I mean you got to
- 7:22Speaker 1: dress up and have Yeah, come on, you gotta act
- 7:24Speaker 1: like you should be there.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna step up my game, get a little
- 7:27Speaker 5: polo or something.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Start talking different.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah, let's start with.
- 7:32Speaker 1: That with a British accent or something.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Talk with a British accent. Got to work out very well,
- 7:38Speaker 2: I'm sure, Miss.
- 7:41Speaker 6: One O two point nine.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Make it happens to stories on the Tents with Billy

- 7:50Speaker 1: We camuses having computer issues.
- 7:52Speaker 4: It's a Monday, she's yeah, I got the Wheel of
- 7:54Speaker 4: Death on my screen ring on a new laptop. Okay, Yeah, guys,
- 8:00Speaker 4: back to school for Fort Worth, d Garland, DeSoto, many
- 8:03Speaker 4: other districts in the metroplex today. It is going to
- 8:05Speaker 4: be hot, so just prepare yourself. We're gonna get up
- 8:07Speaker 4: to one hundred degrees towards the end of the school
- 8:10Speaker 4: day and then we're gonna stay in the triple digits
- 8:12Speaker 4: all week. So basically expect eighty degrees for the lows,
- 8:15Speaker 4: around one hundred for the high nothing's changing. No rain
- 8:19Speaker 4: in the forecast on Friday. No, it rained by me
- 8:22Speaker 4: on Saturday.

- 8:36Speaker 4: and it was raining on us. And I looked up
- 8:37Speaker 4: and like, there's not even a cloud over us.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It was weird.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I know, but it felt so good for
- 8:43Speaker 1: that two minutes. Of course, it was the two minutes
- 8:44Speaker 1: I decided to take my dog, you know, I'm like, well,
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm going to take them on a little golf car
- 8:49Speaker 1: ride because he loves riding around in the golf car.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and it just started pouring for like two minutes.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Geez.
- 8:53Speaker 4: I'm like, I'll take where we can get I guess. Oh, geez, guys.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Many parents are going online war learning people about what
- 9:01Speaker 4: TSA is taking from their kids in airports. Those needles,
- 9:05Speaker 4: if you haven't heard of these, they're colorful, squishyet cubes
- 9:09Speaker 4: and balls. They've been so popular this year. But parents
- 9:12Speaker 4: are saying TSA's rule that liquids and gels have to
- 9:15Speaker 4: be no more than three point four ounces means these
- 9:18Speaker 4: toys and dumplings and other like squishy jelly toys are
- 9:22Speaker 4: getting taken up at airport.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I didn't even think about that, yeah, same, yeah, and
- 9:26Speaker 1: you gotta be careful too, because some of them were
- 9:28Speaker 1: exploding in the heat.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Yeah. I saw that kids were getting burned back.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It's not funny, but they were in the You gotta
- 9:35Speaker 1: be safe. You put anything in this Texas heat in
- 9:37Speaker 1: the confer too long.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Like I had a sprite explode in my back seat.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Oh yeah, And I was like just because of the heat.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, because it was in a can.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And I told my son, like, we can't leave it
- 9:46Speaker 1: in here, you know, and he's a wy I'm like,
- 9:48Speaker 1: it'll explode Youah right, Dad came back it was exploded.
- 9:51Speaker 7: Geez.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yeah.

- 10:19Speaker 4: He's doing this online. I just saw it onn X.
- 10:22Speaker 4: So if you remember, he became a new ambassador for
- 10:25Speaker 4: six Flags as well as an investor in the parks
- 10:28Speaker 4: last fall. He says he's been a lifelong six Flags fan,

- 14:18Speaker 3: Uh?
- 14:19Speaker 5: Let's go with that second story, the hearing loss after
- 14:22Speaker 5: listening to cicadas.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Okay, let's lock that in. It is locked in and
- 14:27Speaker 1: the winter today is starting the week off, the back
- 14:30Speaker 1: to school week off.

- 14:44Speaker 4: Rough stream, so I'll take this to start the week.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yes, the fake story is the ninety one year old
- 14:49Speaker 1: assaulting the retail worker because he tried to return to
- 14:51Speaker 1: TV or microwave from ninety seven.
- 14:54Speaker 2: But you know what that I wouldn't doubt if people try.
- 14:57Speaker 3: To do that.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I mean, was costco around.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I just tried to get something back in the day
- 15:02Speaker 1: that I've never done before. Like I've never done this before.
- 15:04Speaker 1: You know, they say, oh, it's a lifetime warranty on
- 15:06Speaker 1: this thing, but I never, like if some breaks, I
- 15:09Speaker 1: usually never take advantage of it. I'm so mad about
- 15:12Speaker 1: this backpack I bought. Yeah, like I'm going back to
- 15:15Speaker 1: school right like it's my first day and four words,
- 15:19Speaker 1: the strap broke and it was like not expensive expensive,
- 15:22Speaker 1: but it was expensive enough that I was like, it
- 15:24Speaker 1: wasn't just some Jan Sport bag.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Shout out. Jan Sport never broke on me.
- 15:30Speaker 1: No, never, this kine or whatever like an outdoor, a
- 15:34Speaker 1: hiking backpack, whatever broke for good months.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So I actually did everything to get the return you did.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I'm so mad.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I had to take pictures. I had to go through
- 15:43Speaker 1: their webs. Oh, I'd take pictures of it. I had
- 15:46Speaker 1: to look at the serial number or whatever it is
- 15:47Speaker 1: to take a picture of the town.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I had to do so much. But I'm like, no,
- 15:50Speaker 2: I'm doing it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: It's been four weeks.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And I haven't heard back.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Sign up for warranties, Like when you buy the thing.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't get a little brochures. It's automatic. They
- 16:02Speaker 1: brag about it on their website. Oh okay, So I
- 16:05Speaker 1: am totally like in my Karen zone.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You are right.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm getting my money's worth. I'm over this. I'm over
- 16:12Speaker 1: getting taken advantage of canvas, all right. Boys ages seven
- 16:17Speaker 1: and four crash parents, crashed their parents car and inder
- 16:20Speaker 1: injured pedestrian.
- 16:21Speaker 2: This is insane.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Two young brothers in Oakland, California, took their parents' car
- 16:25Speaker 1: for a little joy ride that ended up.
- 16:27Speaker 2: At a crash.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Police say the boys are ages seven and four, grabbed
- 16:31Speaker 1: the keys to their mom's white Toyota Camery and just
- 16:35Speaker 1: took off. Wow, they were gone, so their parents were asleep.
- 16:40Speaker 1: They drove several blocks from home. A witness said one
- 16:44Speaker 1: boy appeared to steer the wheel while the other worked
- 16:46Speaker 1: the gas and brakes.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's how it works when you're four.
- 16:49Speaker 2: And so what is it, little rascals?
- 16:54Speaker 1: The car was speeding when it sideswiped another vehicle, lost
- 16:57Speaker 1: control and struck a woman in her third No, and
- 17:01Speaker 1: her dog that were, you know, on a walk and
- 17:03Speaker 1: all of a sudden here comes these crazy kids. You
- 17:05Speaker 1: sure this wasn't an ultimate by the way, this has
- 17:09Speaker 1: ultimate energy. But no, it was a Camry. Thankfully the
- 17:12Speaker 1: woman is okay, the dog was okay.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But what is going on?
- 17:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that happened.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I didn't steal my first car till I was twelve.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Same.
- 17:22Speaker 1: No, but I will say back in the day, that
- 17:24Speaker 1: was way more common than it is now to take
- 17:26Speaker 1: your parents' car and a joy ride.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah did you ever do that?
- 17:30Speaker 6: No?
- 17:30Speaker 1: You didn't know, Oh I did.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I didn't either.
- 17:34Speaker 5: My dad's Buick Skyhawk out Dang, what year was that
- 17:38Speaker 5: Grandpa Skyhawk?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 17:44Speaker 2: She in the twenties. It was a Skyhawk. What is
- 17:49Speaker 2: a sky.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Something like that? Yeah, but people used to do it
- 17:55Speaker 1: all the time, and like my friends would get caught
- 17:57Speaker 1: by the cops and they'd be like, go home, you idiots.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Yeah right now you'd be in jail.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Oh for sure. I mean when kids are distracted with
- 18:03Speaker 4: other fun things in life like cell phones.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Now that's true.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Yeah, we did it, thrilled.
- 18:07Speaker 2: We had to really do like hood rat stuff.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Right, you don't leave your house to do something.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Like that if you're going back to school today. By
- 18:13Speaker 1: the way, kids don't do this. All my friends did
- 18:15Speaker 1: that are either in jail or they're pooh. A teenage
- 18:21Speaker 1: boy suffers hearing loss after listening to cicadas for too long.
- 18:25Speaker 1: The teenage boy in China learn the hard way even
- 18:27Speaker 1: nature's sounds can be dangerous. He went camping. He's eighteen
- 18:31Speaker 1: years old. He heard the cicadas for about four hours
- 18:34Speaker 1: non stop in a forest, a remote forest.
- 18:37Speaker 2: He noticed his ears started to hurt.
- 18:39Speaker 1: But four hours later he's like, you know, I can't
- 18:41Speaker 1: hear other things that are going on, Like I just
- 18:43Speaker 1: hear like a humming noise. Went to the doctor, went
- 18:46Speaker 1: to the emergency room because he's like, something's wrong, and yeah,
- 18:50Speaker 1: the doctor said his ears were swollen. What and the
- 18:54Speaker 1: cicadas had damaged his ears because one of them is okay,
- 18:58Speaker 1: but if they get in a group, you have a
- 18:59Speaker 1: group of yeah, it can be damaging. And it's like
- 19:02Speaker 1: eighty five decibels. Which he had to get on some
- 19:05Speaker 1: kind of medication and to fix his ears because he
- 19:08Speaker 1: had temporary hearing loss no, which sometimes if you go
- 19:12Speaker 1: on Texas you hear them. Yeah, I mean you hear
- 19:14Speaker 1: him here all the time. There they are Oh wow,
- 19:18Speaker 1: oh that's awful. That's a whole group.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Oh no, yeah, I mean I've had that when you
- 19:23Speaker 4: leave a concert that's really loud or whatever and your
- 19:25Speaker 4: ears are just kind of like you know, ringing.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, oh one too, No, that's actually pooh. That's that's
- 19:32Speaker 2: Pooh's mating call.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Come here.
- 19:37Speaker 2: If you are going back to school today, shout out
- 19:39Speaker 2: to you.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You got this for worth. What's up? I know they're
- 19:42Speaker 1: going back so it's this Soto Garland.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So it's a big day.
- 19:46Speaker 4: It is wake up.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Oh, I know tomorrow. Tomorrow is another big day. I
- 19:50Speaker 1: think Dallas going back tomorrow. There's a lot of schools
- 19:52Speaker 1: going back this week. It's mixed one or two point
- 19:54Speaker 1: nine ability kid Candice Loan pants producer Pooh, don't forget
- 19:57Speaker 1: trip to Disneyland. We got you another shot to win.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Add it's seven ten a trip on US airfare, hotel.
- 20:04Speaker 2: We got you.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Now, there's one thing that I didn't anticipate. You know,
- 20:08Speaker 1: we don't understand slang if young people, well, we do,
- 20:11Speaker 1: but sometimes is you know, I'm changing so fast as
- 20:15Speaker 1: elder millennials, as elder millennials, it's tough for us. You know, wait, wait,
- 20:19Speaker 1: when did you become an elder millennium.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I'm there, I'm right there.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Oh, you're right there. That's what identify as Okay, good
- 20:28Speaker 1: for you, Yeah, yeah, exactly, Leave your boomer self out
- 20:34Speaker 1: of us. Either way, we have a struggle sometimes it
- 20:38Speaker 1: is keeping up with the slang. But I feel like
- 20:40Speaker 1: when I have a teenager, so my son is fifteen,
- 20:43Speaker 1: I have an advantage over some and you know, I mean,
- 20:46Speaker 1: so does poof. I'm not there yet, You're not there yet.
- 20:48Speaker 1: But now there's a new problem that I didn't really anticipate.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Is gen z is coming into the office and you know,
- 20:55Speaker 1: getting jobs and whatnot. They don't understand what old people
- 20:58Speaker 1: are talking about. Right, So there's a list of phrases,
- 21:01Speaker 1: you know, I love a good list of things that
- 21:04Speaker 1: they're like, wait, what does that mean? It's causing confusion
- 21:07Speaker 1: in the office. Let's see if you know, first of all,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of some gen.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Z slang that we we don't know. Yeah, we know
- 21:12Speaker 2: a lot of it.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I really don't. You guys have told me most of it,
- 21:16Speaker 4: Like riz is not a thing anymore?
- 21:18Speaker 1: Right?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Is not cool?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Is that still a thing? Chassi?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Okay? Like delulu you know what deluluh means?
- 21:24Speaker 4: Like, yeah, you're delusional?
- 21:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, okay, that one's easy.
- 21:28Speaker 2: To give you another one.
- 21:30Speaker 4: It's sending me, it's sending me, it's cracking me up.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, what about this?
- 21:38Speaker 1: What about to serve?
- 21:39Speaker 7: To serve?
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Like serving looks okay, okay, look.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Yeah I should ask PROO of this stuff. You got it?
- 21:47Speaker 4: These are basic ones.
- 21:48Speaker 2: What about you ate?
- 21:50Speaker 3: You ate?
- 21:50Speaker 2: Oh girl, you ate?
- 21:51Speaker 4: Yeah you crush it?
- 21:53Speaker 1: There you go?
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, or better than I thought?
- 21:56Speaker 2: You're right?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you're pretty good. Now here's the stuff that office jargon.
- 22:00Speaker 1: The gen Z is like, what are you talking about? Okay.
- 22:05Speaker 1: They're very confused when older people say in the pipeline.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Oh okay, like it's coming pipeline. Yeah, something that is
- 22:16Speaker 4: pretty weird to say.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Right, it's getting worked on. It's going to happen, you know.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's in progress.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's in the pipeline's coming soon. I catch I catch
- 22:23Speaker 1: sometimes us saying some old stuff.
- 22:26Speaker 4: You know what, I try I you know what, I
- 22:33Speaker 4: I'll circle back And I deleted it. No, I deleted.
- 22:36Speaker 4: I was like, I'm not saying that.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You circle back.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I'll check in with you again.
- 22:39Speaker 1: The problem when people say circle back, they never circle back. Yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 1: that's my thoughts.
- 22:44Speaker 4: It was I don't want people to circle back.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Here's another one that gen Z's like, I mean, this
- 22:48Speaker 1: was a big one. Like seventy percent gen Z didn't
- 22:51Speaker 1: know what this meant. And I'm thinking to myself, how
- 22:53Speaker 1: do you not know what this means? Touch base? Okay,
- 22:58Speaker 1: touch base?
- 23:00Speaker 4: But we're saying that, but think about it. If you've
- 23:03Speaker 4: never heard that before, what does that mean?
- 23:05Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like I would know what it is. Oh,
- 23:07Speaker 1: touch base? Cool?
- 23:08Speaker 2: What do they think we're playing baseball?
- 23:12Speaker 4: That's a weird saying though.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Okay, here's another one that they This was another like
- 23:18Speaker 1: seventy five percent of them did not know what this meant.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Well, we'll just put that on the back burner.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:24Speaker 1: They were like, wait, what does that mean?
- 23:26Speaker 4: We're heating it up right now?
- 23:30Speaker 2: Something's burning?
- 23:30Speaker 4: Yeah, are we cooking?
- 23:33Speaker 2: This is another one. Push the envelope.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Oh oh wow.
- 23:36Speaker 2: They did not know what that meant.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Oh it makes sense?
- 23:39Speaker 2: Push? What makes sense?
- 23:41Speaker 4: Push the envelope? Like, we wouldn't know what that means.
- 23:44Speaker 1: See, I feel like we even were younger, so used
- 23:47Speaker 1: to it. Are you just trying to call poo.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And I old?
- 23:49Speaker 4: No, I'm just saying. If you'd never heard that before,
- 23:52Speaker 4: I can see where you'd be like, what are you
- 23:53Speaker 4: talking about?
- 23:53Speaker 2: You know what that means? Right now?
- 23:55Speaker 1: I was just about to tell you nobody's ever told
- 23:58Speaker 1: me push the envelope.
- 23:59Speaker 2: We have trust. You just don't listen. You don't know
- 24:08Speaker 2: what that means. No, No, you really don't.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I really don't.
- 24:12Speaker 2: None of y'all said that to me.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Push the helmet.
- 24:14Speaker 4: It's not a phrase I ever use.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I never. It's time to push the envelope, like,
- 24:18Speaker 1: we got to take it to another level. We got
- 24:20Speaker 1: to really challenge ourselves. Right, Okay, now I know what
- 24:22Speaker 1: it means a.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Little more risky.
- 24:24Speaker 1: But I've never heard either one of y'all say that, Well,
- 24:26Speaker 1: we don't. We don't, but I mean we told you that.
- 24:29Speaker 1: In other words, it's time to push the What about
- 24:34Speaker 1: this one?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Move the needle? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what
- 24:37Speaker 2: that means?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Break it up? Yeah, break it up?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Hard to describe. Move the needle, make progress, bigger numbers,
- 24:44Speaker 4: need to move the needle. Make a difference, Yeah, make a.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Difference, a noticeable difference.
- 24:48Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 1: What's your old school phrase? If you got one? Eight
- 24:51Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one O two nine? Like
- 24:53Speaker 1: I said, who said one?
- 24:55Speaker 2: The other day?
- 24:56Speaker 4: When people say the low hanging fruit?
- 24:58Speaker 1: I just.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Did they say that if you're in your car? Do
- 25:02Speaker 4: they say that in your office? Let me know what.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Office phrase do you hate? Here?
- 25:06Speaker 4: Low hanging fruit, low hanging fruit. I don't want it.
- 25:11Speaker 1: If it's I don't want anything.

- 25:32Speaker 4: moms with strollers. It's always you know, the first day
- 25:35Speaker 4: of school. People forget that those school zones are going on.
- 25:37Speaker 4: You have to be careful. Fort Worth, Garland and Desto.
- 25:41Speaker 4: I see some of the biggest going back today in
- 25:43Speaker 4: the Metroplex.
- 25:44Speaker 8: Uh.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Speaking of Fort Worth, did you know high school students
- 25:47Speaker 4: there can actually ride public transportation for free this year?
- 25:51Speaker 4: So Trinity Metro text Rail, Trinity Railway Express. Uh, they
- 25:55Speaker 4: were testing this out last year. It was a success.

- 26:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Can you imagine when I lived in New York for
- 26:11Speaker 1: a little while, I could not believe that there would
- 26:12Speaker 1: be kids on the subway going to school alone. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 1: it was so weird to see, but that's just life
- 26:18Speaker 1: for them. So yeah, we don't use public transportation enough here.
- 26:21Speaker 4: No we shouldn't. I wish we did, because I wish
- 26:24Speaker 4: it was a fun thing to do, because anytime I've
- 26:26Speaker 4: ever been on it, I've enjoyed it. Just you know,
- 26:28Speaker 4: looking around and just no stress with the road.

- 27:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I get excited when I find it, like
- 27:29Speaker 1: a twenty in a winter coat. Yeah, I'm like, oh

- 27:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but imagine two millions.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Yeah, play it amazedeck it, check it, check it, guys. So,
- 27:39Speaker 4: this theory about Shakeshack is circulating on social media. So
- 27:42Speaker 4: this couple on TikTok says shake Shack is appearing to
- 27:46Speaker 4: charge more for menu items if you decide not to tip.
- 27:50Speaker 4: So the company says this is not their policy. They're
- 27:53Speaker 4: looking into this location to see why people are saying this.
- 27:56Speaker 4: But in the video, the couple basically orders from one
- 27:59Speaker 4: of those keys, and they're, you know, ordering three shakes
- 28:03Speaker 4: ranging from six dollars to six point fifty, and when
- 28:06Speaker 4: they go to check out, it asks, you know, do
- 28:07Speaker 4: you want to tip? Well, they click no tip, and
- 28:09Speaker 4: then get a pop up that appears saying, uh, oh,
- 28:12Speaker 4: there's been a pricing update to one or more of
- 28:14Speaker 4: your cart items. No way, yes, So then they go
- 28:18Speaker 4: back to see that all of the shakes are now
- 28:20Speaker 4: fifty cents more than originally. People are asking is this
- 28:26Speaker 4: a glitch? Is this intentional?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Why in the world would I tip you? I found
- 28:30Speaker 1: that a Kiosk ordering right? What what do you deserve
- 28:33Speaker 1: a tip for?
- 28:34Speaker 4: Well, that's kind of their question. They're like, was this
- 28:36Speaker 4: on purpose? If this is legal? How And I guess
- 28:39Speaker 4: this isn't a location in Salt Lake City's airport. It's
- 28:43Speaker 4: weird too, though, because for a while they didn't even
- 28:46Speaker 4: let you tip at shake Shack and then they brought
- 28:49Speaker 4: it back. But their CEO has said before, you know,
- 28:51Speaker 4: people shouldn't feel obligated to tip for a simple order.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Well, all you have to do is do the same
- 28:55Speaker 1: order and then tip and see if at the end
- 28:57Speaker 1: it updates the pricing.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Think, yeah, well we're saying add like one cent for
- 29:01Speaker 4: a tip and just to test it out or something like,
- 29:03Speaker 4: you know, very minimal.
- 29:05Speaker 2: More insulting than that.
- 29:06Speaker 4: When you're ordering from a kiosk, you don't feel like
- 29:09Speaker 4: you're it's.
- 29:09Speaker 1: A human I mean, we're we're are Tipping's out of control? Yeah,
- 29:12Speaker 1: it's out of control. Well, I'm at a kiosk ordering
- 29:15Speaker 1: and you're asking for a tip. I don't even see human, right,
- 29:18Speaker 1: Why am I tipping anybody?
- 29:19Speaker 2: I don't even know what what do you do?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 29:22Speaker 4: I agree with that. It's we're in a weird, weird place.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I tipped it too much. I tip to go, I tip,
- 29:28Speaker 1: I usually tip. I'm not tipping a kiosk.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, because I remember at Bennigan's they would always be like, well, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 4: people should tip. I had to put your order in
- 29:34Speaker 4: a bag and pack it up and put silverware and
- 29:36Speaker 4: things like that in it. So since then, I've just
- 29:39Speaker 4: always tipped twenty percent, even on a to go order,
- 29:41Speaker 4: which is very different than being served and you know,
- 29:44Speaker 4: getting drink refills and all that.
- 29:46Speaker 2: If I tip twenty percent, but yeah, fifteen for to go,
- 29:49Speaker 2: is that what it is?
- 29:50Speaker 4: Well, happy, I'm glad you told me, because well.
- 29:52Speaker 2: That's what I do. I'm not saying it's right, Okay, all.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Right, I'm cand of slow feds. Those are your Texas
- 29:57Speaker 4: Top stories about.
- 29:59Speaker 1: To do the bang right now mixed one or two
- 30:01Speaker 1: point nine plus we got Dirty Little Secret. Next, it's
- 30:03Speaker 1: Pail the Kid Candice Lompans, producer poo. We were talking
- 30:06Speaker 1: about old people's sayings. Well they're saying old people. Yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 1: gen Z calls us old. That's fine. Old people sayings
- 30:14Speaker 1: that young people don't understand, especially in the office.
- 30:16Speaker 2: They're so confused.
- 30:17Speaker 1: One of them was like in the pipeline or touch
- 30:21Speaker 1: base and Younger people are like, wait, what are you
- 30:23Speaker 1: talking about? Like you know so because we have to
- 30:25Speaker 1: keep up with their slang. Yeah, they're like, now we're
- 30:27Speaker 1: trying to keep up with some of the stuff that
- 30:29Speaker 1: you say. Leonard's got one Leonard?
- 30:31Speaker 2: How are you hey doing?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Good man? How about y'all good? So you use the
- 30:34Speaker 1: term when you sell stuff on Facebook marketplace and some
- 30:37Speaker 1: people are like wait what Yeah, when we're negotiating price,
- 30:41Speaker 1: I will usually say, well, I'll split the difference with you.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Ah, oh that's math.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Let's say, hey, i'll give you that for I know
- 30:51Speaker 1: you want eighty, but I'll give it to you for forty.
- 30:54Speaker 2: You split the difference.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We're going sixty exactly.
- 30:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 1: A lot of times they don't know what I'm talking about.
- 31:00Speaker 4: That that's confusing. What do you mean, kid? It is
- 31:03Speaker 4: split the difference. Why don't we meet in the middle.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's different. Leonard.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Thank you. We appreciate you. Man, have a great day.
- 31:14Speaker 1: All right, you're the best.
- 31:16Speaker 2: We appreciate you.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Monica and Garland said she has when she told somebody
- 31:19Speaker 1: that they were cruising for a bruising.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I cruise all the time when I was
- 31:24Speaker 4: a kid. That's all I did.
- 31:27Speaker 1: The young person she was talking to had no idea
- 31:29Speaker 1: what that meant.
- 31:30Speaker 2: They're like, I'm what right, I'm cruising for what?
- 31:33Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 31:34Speaker 2: So shout out to Monica.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Kendrew and Lewisville said, she asked somebody in office the
- 31:38Speaker 1: other day, what's shaken?
- 31:40Speaker 4: Oh, what's shaking? Macon?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Oh, you do not say that anymore?
- 31:47Speaker 4: Well, I'm sure I said that at one point in
- 31:48Speaker 4: my life. Well in the last twenty years.
- 31:51Speaker 2: This young person said, Kendraw, what are you talking about?
- 31:54Speaker 2: What's shaken?
- 31:55Speaker 1: What is shaking? What's shake?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Somebody else? Becca and Raleigh? What if? To Becca?
- 32:00Speaker 1: She said, I asked somebody in the office, let's take
- 32:03Speaker 1: this offline. Oh, And they had no idea, no clue
- 32:07Speaker 1: what I was talking about.
- 32:09Speaker 6: What do you mean?
- 32:10Speaker 2: Remember what did I say the other day?
- 32:11Speaker 1: And you guys were making fun of me because I
- 32:13Speaker 1: said an old person is country saying that? You said
- 32:15Speaker 1: a country saying yeah?
- 32:17Speaker 2: What did I say?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Poo oh? You remember talking about Kimmo? He made I
- 32:23Speaker 1: can't I said kimo?
- 32:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he said, Billy, don't ever say kimo.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I don't know why. My grandpa used to say it sometimes.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Well she used to, well, I got to use the kimo.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Where did that word come from? Or or another saying
- 32:42Speaker 1: that made me always laugh that. I used to be
- 32:44Speaker 1: like what when my grandpa would say it was in
- 32:47Speaker 1: the ice box. Oh yeah, it wasn't refrigerator. It was
- 32:51Speaker 1: the ice box.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Yeah, icebox?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Or what else?
- 32:54Speaker 2: Or my Grammy used to call it, Go grab my
- 32:57Speaker 2: pocket book? Oh yeah, you're wallet.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Yeah, go grab my pocketbook real quick, weird, and I'll
- 33:03Speaker 1: give you a dollar for some.
- 33:04Speaker 6: Canda for new mixed one o two point nine.
- 33:10Speaker 4: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 33:14Speaker 1: It's time for your confession. I'm mixed one o two
- 33:17Speaker 1: point nine. Good morning, Bailey the kid. Cannaslow Pads is here,
- 33:20Speaker 1: producer boos here. We do it every day, seven thirty
- 33:23Speaker 1: nine thirty. Your confession, your dirty little secret.
- 33:25Speaker 2: If you got one, just bring it on. I don't
- 33:27Speaker 2: care what it is.
- 33:28Speaker 1: It could be a big secret, a little secret.
- 33:31Speaker 3: You know what.
- 33:31Speaker 1: We got a lot of coming up, like tomorrow, we
- 33:33Speaker 1: got it back to school secret. Oh really yeah, I
- 33:36Speaker 1: mean a lot of them coming in right now, So
- 33:39Speaker 1: you don't want to miss these.
- 33:40Speaker 4: I want to hear that.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Oh tomorrow's I'm working on right, the guy, I gotta
- 33:42Speaker 1: work ahead, candis sure, I gotta work ahead on these
- 33:45Speaker 1: secrets because sometimes they're so crazy.
- 33:46Speaker 4: I'm like, I can't hear that you got them in
- 33:48Speaker 4: the pipeline.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I got them in the pipeline. Okay, and we'll
- 33:50Speaker 2: touch base about it later.
- 33:52Speaker 4: Perfect.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:53Speaker 1: If you have one eight three three seven eight seven
- 33:55Speaker 1: one o two nine, or you can also hit me
- 33:57Speaker 1: up on Instagram. It is at Billy on the radio.
- 33:59Speaker 1: At Billy on the Radio. Now, this guy's gone one.
- 34:02Speaker 2: How are you moran?
- 34:03Speaker 8: I'm all right. How you guys doing good?
- 34:04Speaker 1: Okay, So you have a secret, a confession that you
- 34:07Speaker 1: were holding on to, let's do it.
- 34:09Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, I'm recently divorced, and you know, let's
- 34:13Speaker 8: just say it wasn't exactly a mutual decision. Uh Now,
- 34:18Speaker 8: I can't prove my ex wife was having an affair,
- 34:20Speaker 8: but she's already living it up with some new guys,
- 34:22Speaker 8: so you know, draw your own conclusions there. Oh, so
- 34:25Speaker 8: she moved on fast, Oh, I would say so. I
- 34:29Speaker 8: would say that is a pretty fair assessment. But here's
- 34:32Speaker 8: here's the part that really got me fired up. Right now,
- 34:34Speaker 8: she has been posting all over social media about her
- 34:37Speaker 8: divorce yard sale this weekend like it's some kind of
- 34:41Speaker 8: cute little celebration. I think it'sly tacky, especially since we
- 34:47Speaker 8: got kids who can all see all this someday.
- 34:49Speaker 2: No, that's a good point. I mean so a divorce
- 34:54Speaker 2: yard sale.
- 34:55Speaker 8: A divorce yard sale is what she's calling it. And
- 34:59Speaker 8: what really up here is when we split everything up.
- 35:03Speaker 8: You know, there was some There were a bunch of things,
- 35:05Speaker 8: she claimed she just couldn't find, like you know, family tools,
- 35:09Speaker 8: you collectible, some camping gear, even stuff, honestly, even stuff
- 35:13Speaker 8: my dad gave me just years ago, just you know,
- 35:16Speaker 8: magically missing, somehow just gone. I got a feeling I
- 35:19Speaker 8: know exactly where some of those missing us about to
- 35:21Speaker 8: turn up.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 8: Sure, here's where I get to my confession. I am
- 35:28Speaker 8: going to show up the second that yard sale opens
- 35:32Speaker 8: this Saturday morning with a couple of my buddies and
- 35:35Speaker 8: a pickup truck. If I see my stuff sitting out
- 35:38Speaker 8: there with price tag on it, I am taking it back.
- 35:40Speaker 8: I am not buying it.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I am Wow, savage, are we sure we.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Want to do this?
- 35:52Speaker 8: You know, this whole thing has been ugly. I think
- 35:54Speaker 8: she was seating. Like I said, I can't prove it,
- 35:56Speaker 8: but she has been coming. And you know the thing
- 36:01Speaker 8: about it is she thinks I won't come because I
- 36:03Speaker 8: have the kids this weekend. Jokes on her. My mom
- 36:06Speaker 8: already agreed to watch kids for a few hours. Call me, petty,
- 36:10Speaker 8: you know if you want, if she can turn our
- 36:12Speaker 8: voice in the yard sale, I reckon, I'm going to
- 36:15Speaker 8: turn into her recovery mission.
- 36:17Speaker 2: So you know, I just I get nervous about this.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, anytime there's like a possible conflict, I get nervous.
- 36:26Speaker 4: But if that's your stuff, I do get frustrated to
- 36:29Speaker 4: sell it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's ridiculous though, if she's not giving and
- 36:32Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Unfortunately, I've been through something
- 36:34Speaker 1: like this, and I've had friends that I mean, I
- 36:36Speaker 1: got all my stuff back for the most part, but
- 36:38Speaker 1: I have a friend who went through something similar like this,
- 36:41Speaker 1: and you know she wouldn't give back a lot of
- 36:43Speaker 1: his stuff. And you go, well, go through the system.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Well the system doesn't really do anything. No, I mean, unfortunately,
- 36:49Speaker 1: they really don't. And for guys and for men and women,
- 36:52Speaker 1: it's just like once something's in somebod these possession.
- 36:54Speaker 2: What do they say?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Possession is ninety percent of the law, so whoever has it,
- 36:59Speaker 1: it's pretty much you w you know, it's hard to
- 37:01Speaker 1: prove that it's not. So I get the frustration. I
- 37:04Speaker 1: just also get worried that this is gonna come. This
- 37:06Speaker 1: could get ugly quick.
- 37:08Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, I feel like I have the proper
- 37:11Speaker 8: recourse in this situation. Also called my buddy's got friends
- 37:14Speaker 8: on the force, so you know, this will be as
- 37:17Speaker 8: you know, by the book, as possible. But frankly, that
- 37:20Speaker 8: is my stuff and I don't I don't know why
- 37:23Speaker 8: she's blowing this whole thing out of proportion. I feel
- 37:26Speaker 8: like he doesn't want me digging into her dirty business,
- 37:29Speaker 8: her dirty laundry, so I feel like this will be
- 37:32Speaker 8: you know, karma.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Okay, all right, Well, yeah, he got to get his stuff,
- 37:36Speaker 5: he said, you know, she she might have something that
- 37:38Speaker 5: his dad gave him.
- 37:39Speaker 4: I mean, I get it, you know, Yeah, I can't
- 37:41Speaker 4: say that I would feel any different.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and find it.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Well, let's ask this too, is a divorce yard sale? Tacky?
- 37:49Speaker 2: Why do you have to put divorce?
- 37:51Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Yeah, just yard sale? Why why divorce? Yard sale?
- 37:54Speaker 8: And she's on social media too, like, yeah, you know rated,
- 37:59Speaker 8: I mean, it's a whole thing. It's really tacky.
- 38:03Speaker 2: She's being petty. It's kind of like a is a
- 38:05Speaker 2: divorce party tacky? Is it the same thing? Because some
- 38:07Speaker 2: people say divorce parties are tacky too.
- 38:10Speaker 4: I think this is.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean it just doesn't there's no need
- 38:15Speaker 1: for it. Just I'm having a yard sale. Why divorce
- 38:17Speaker 1: yard sale?
- 38:18Speaker 4: Or just put it on marketplace.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I've never seen divorce yard sale. I gotta be honest,
- 38:22Speaker 1: so I would stop. I'm stopping.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Because you know there's gonna be some golf clubs.
- 38:29Speaker 4: This is basically, if you're a man and you need
- 38:31Speaker 4: something come through.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe a PS five mower, some tools. Yeah, okay,
- 38:39Speaker 1: well sir, listen, please good luck. I don't want any confrontation.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Don't get in trouble, get too far.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Worth all that, but I understand your frustrations. And I
- 38:50Speaker 1: mean I kind of do hope you get your stuff
- 38:52Speaker 1: back in.
- 38:52Speaker 4: A weird way, something sentimental. I mean, go for it.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so well, good luck, Okay.
- 38:58Speaker 8: Yeah, well, I appreciate it. I will. I promised would
- 39:00Speaker 8: be by the book about it, and I'm not wanting
- 39:02Speaker 8: to start anything there, but not it's my stuff, all right, Well,
- 39:06Speaker 8: taking it back.
- 39:07Speaker 2: If we get a call from you from jail, i'll
- 39:09Speaker 2: know why.
- 39:11Speaker 8: There.
- 39:12Speaker 1: All right, we'll bail you out. Well, good luck, all right.
- 39:14Speaker 8: I appreciate it, Thank you.
- 39:15Speaker 2: What did your ex take? Let me know. The more
- 39:18Speaker 2: I think about this, the more I think this is
- 39:19Speaker 2: a bad idea.
- 39:20Speaker 8: Though.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a risky move for sure.
- 39:22Speaker 1: I just don't know what I mean. It's just that
- 39:24Speaker 1: you could easily get caught up in some trouble there.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And but I get it, like, what did your ex take?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Let me know?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Eight three three seven eight seven one two nine. I
- 39:32Speaker 1: want to know the craziest thing.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I might have something for you. Let's say that he
- 39:35Speaker 2: might have a little something for you if you.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Tell me the craziest thing your ex took and still
- 39:39Speaker 1: has eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I mean, remember we had one girl call him said
- 39:43Speaker 1: her ex took her grandma's ashes. Oh you can't do that,
- 39:48Speaker 1: to be petty, no, yeah, but it's awful. Something should
- 39:51Speaker 1: be off limits, off limits. I expect to lose a
- 39:54Speaker 1: hoodie or two, not grandma.
- 39:59Speaker 3: All right, he's going for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 40:04Speaker 3: here with Billy the Kid in the morning, right for.
- 40:07Speaker 1: The honorable judge and Candace Lompez straight out of Mesquite.
- 40:10Speaker 1: She got her law degree from Town East. Yeah, it's
- 40:13Speaker 1: a very well known fact. You can google it. I
- 40:15Speaker 1: don't believe me, and don't ever hate on the Mesquite
- 40:18Speaker 1: schools because somebody did last week and we were very angry.
- 40:22Speaker 1: For sure.
- 40:23Speaker 2: It's all good. Hey, Mosquite starts, by the way tomorrow. Yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 2: first day of school for Mesquite tomorrow.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Sleep.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I know, one more sleep today for Worth Garland Soto
- 40:30Speaker 1: shout out to you. Back to school time.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Alright.
- 40:31Speaker 1: If you got an issue for Candace Court, let's do it.
- 40:34Speaker 1: It's mix one O two nine. All you gotta do
- 40:36Speaker 1: is just sit candas up at Candace on Air on Instagram,
- 40:39Speaker 1: at Candace on Air.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Are you ready for this one?
- 40:41Speaker 1: Ye?
- 40:41Speaker 2: All right?
- 40:41Speaker 1: This girl wrote and she said, hello, guys, please help me.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I've been dating the guy for about seven months now,
- 40:46Speaker 1: and from the very beginning I knew he had a daughter.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Well I would hope so, and Lord, that has never
- 40:52Speaker 1: been an issue for me. I actually respected he's a
- 40:55Speaker 1: good dad and he takes care of his responsibilities. Recently,
- 40:58Speaker 1: his daughter's mom's a went out and he told me
- 41:02Speaker 1: that he offered to let her and his daughter stay
- 41:05Speaker 1: at his house until it gets fixed. Well, don't we
- 41:09Speaker 1: know this issue already? Yeah, he was completely upfront about it,
- 41:13Speaker 1: he told me before it happened. The problem is, even
- 41:16Speaker 1: though he was honest with me, I still can't shake
- 41:18Speaker 1: the feeling that it's weird. I understand not wanting his
- 41:22Speaker 1: daughter to be uncomfortable, and I don't think he should
- 41:25Speaker 1: leave them stranded in a house with no AC But
- 41:29Speaker 1: at the same time, it's still his ex stain in
- 41:32Speaker 1: his house and that doesn't exactly make me feel comfortable.
- 41:36Speaker 1: When I brought it up, he told me that I
- 41:38Speaker 1: have trust issues and that he wasn't going to leave
- 41:42Speaker 1: the mother of his child and his daughter hanging when
- 41:46Speaker 1: they needed help. He said he would expect anyone he's
- 41:49Speaker 1: dating to understand that his daughter comes first. Now I'm
- 41:52Speaker 1: questioning myself. Part of me feels like he's doing the
- 41:55Speaker 1: right thing as a father and being a good person.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Another part of me he feels uncomfortable Noah's ex's staying
- 42:00Speaker 1: at his house, even if it's just for a few days.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Am I upset for no reason or is it reasonable
- 42:05Speaker 1: to think that this situation is a little strange?
- 42:09Speaker 2: Candice?
- 42:10Speaker 4: What you think it is weird? It is weird your
- 42:12Speaker 4: daughter does come first but not your ex.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I mean I really wish I knew
- 42:18Speaker 1: how old she was. And I'm not saying that it
- 42:22Speaker 1: matters because I think it matters because if she's at
- 42:25Speaker 1: a certain age, well, mom needs to be there to
- 42:27Speaker 1: take care of her, get some things ready for school,
- 42:30Speaker 1: she's going back, or whatever the case may be.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I don't know, but it is. It is a weird situation.
- 42:36Speaker 4: It is weird because it's like, so you're going to
- 42:38Speaker 4: stay there with them, but then it's weird if you're
- 42:40Speaker 4: not there because they're in your house doing their own thing.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That's your child's mom. I don't have a problem with it.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I do the same thing.
- 42:49Speaker 4: And what if you lost your girlfriend over Yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 5: I mean that's she just got to get over it.
- 42:55Speaker 5: And actually this happened my baby mama. Her ac did
- 42:59Speaker 5: go out, but you know, she didn't stay in my place.
- 43:01Speaker 5: But if she needed a place to stay with the boys, yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 5: come on, where stay at her mom's or whatever.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Oh that's because you still miss her? No anyway, No,
- 43:16Speaker 1: I can you pay.
- 43:17Speaker 4: For a hotel for them or help out financially so
- 43:20Speaker 4: they can be somewhere I know.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Just trust your boy.
- 43:24Speaker 4: You just know that.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Hey, when I say it's over.
- 43:26Speaker 2: It's over.
- 43:27Speaker 4: I don't have no feelings for her, but still weird.
- 43:30Speaker 2: It is still weird.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Now, I'm sorry, But if I was in a relationship,
- 43:34Speaker 1: if I wasn't in a relationship, then it's like, okay, yeah, y'all,
- 43:37Speaker 1: of course you could stay in my house.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I'm not going to let anybody go without ac in
- 43:41Speaker 2: this crazy heat.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But at the same time, if I'm in a relationship,
- 43:45Speaker 1: there's certain exes that do things strategically. And I'm not
- 43:49Speaker 1: saying she has no other place to go, but I
- 43:51Speaker 1: know plenty of people and not just women, by the way,
- 43:54Speaker 1: men too, that manipulate the situation. Even though if they
- 43:57Speaker 1: have another place to stay, they're going to be like, Hey,
- 44:00Speaker 1: I don't like this new girl. Right, this is what
- 44:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. We need to stay at your house.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Let's make things a little uncomfortable.
- 44:06Speaker 4: I haven't even thought of that, but you're so right.
- 44:09Speaker 2: I do because I'm so bad.
- 44:11Speaker 4: No, I feel like some petty situations and he will Yeah, well.
- 44:15Speaker 1: You said it, so they might be like, oh, yeah,
- 44:19Speaker 1: of course I could go to my mom's or I
- 44:20Speaker 1: could go somewhere else, but stay at his house.
- 44:23Speaker 4: You don't have anyone that's closer to you than your ex.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Oh you want your daughter to die heats? I mean,
- 44:31Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 44:32Speaker 4: I could hear that happening too, just being a super
- 44:35Speaker 4: decent guy.
- 44:35Speaker 1: I guess we'll just stay outside and stay in the
- 44:38Speaker 1: house one hundred degrees leap in the car.
- 44:42Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. It's your baby. You got
- 44:44Speaker 5: to take care of baby mama as well. You just
- 44:47Speaker 5: have to like No, I might not like it, I
- 44:49Speaker 5: might not want to do it.
- 44:50Speaker 1: But if you're in a relationship, if you had the
- 44:52Speaker 1: money to do so, you wouldn't say, Hey, it's a
- 44:55Speaker 1: little uncomfortable I have I have a girlfriend.
- 44:57Speaker 2: She doesn't feel great about it. Let me give you
- 44:59Speaker 2: two room for a hotel.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Or you know what. Of course, our daughter can stay
- 45:03Speaker 1: with us and I'll get you a hotel room. But
- 45:05Speaker 1: you know me, you know paying for the hotel. I said,
- 45:08Speaker 1: if you haven't, Oh, if I have the money, I'll
- 45:10Speaker 1: probably get her a hotel. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Maybe, but no, I mean, just she could say it's
- 45:16Speaker 5: only for a few days.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Why is my girl tripping? I'm sorry, I stay with
- 45:20Speaker 2: me for a few days. I get where she'd be uncoforable.
- 45:23Speaker 1: So if you were dating a girl, I know the
- 45:25Speaker 1: situation is different, but at the same time, you would
- 45:27Speaker 1: you wouldn't mind her ex.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Who's a good looking dude too that Yeah, he's got
- 45:33Speaker 2: a six pack, he's a good looking dude.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm all chubsy. No way, See, let me just bring
- 45:41Speaker 1: our kid over and you don't mind it.
- 45:46Speaker 2: But she shouldn't have a baby, No, diddy, what do
- 45:53Speaker 2: you think you wouldn't have a problem with it?
- 45:55Speaker 1: I probably would, so double standing yet, gotcha? All right,
- 46:00Speaker 1: Candas Lopez, you're the judge.
- 46:02Speaker 2: What is the verdict?
- 46:03Speaker 4: Yeah, there's got to be a better way here. Look, dude,
- 46:05Speaker 4: you're guilty of being a box fan, Brian, get out
- 46:09Speaker 4: the box fan. Look, your daughter tasting. But she needs
- 46:13Speaker 4: to figure it out, Okay, if she's got to put
- 46:15Speaker 4: a hotel room on a credit card or an Airbnb
- 46:18Speaker 4: or something, there's a better way than her staying at
- 46:21Speaker 4: your house. You're in a relationship.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that is weird.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I would say no, you.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Want to be a good guy, but there's a better
- 46:26Speaker 4: way to be a good guy.
- 46:27Speaker 1: You can at least say, hey, how would this make
- 46:28Speaker 1: you feel if my ex stayed with me and consult
- 46:31Speaker 1: before you said yes they can, you could stay with me?
- 46:33Speaker 4: Yeah? How about that? How about that new girlfriend?
- 46:37Speaker 1: Recipe for he is guilty of being a box fan.
- 46:40Speaker 6: Bryan Miss one O two point.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Nine Mix one O two point nine. Landa's mad. We
- 46:48Speaker 1: just did candas court Orlanda's on the phone and she's mad. Well,
- 46:51Speaker 1: the situation was this girl. She's like, I don't know
- 46:54Speaker 1: my boyfriend. You know, I've been dating for seven months.
- 46:56Speaker 1: But his ex, you know, baby Mama and dag her
- 47:00Speaker 1: their acs broke, so they're staying with him. Oh yeah,
- 47:04Speaker 1: it's not the best feeling. You're not gonna let him,
- 47:06Speaker 1: you know. Just the daughter's gotta have ac. Yeah, mom,
- 47:09Speaker 1: I don't know about that. You land if you were
- 47:12Speaker 1: in this situation, what.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Would you do?
- 47:14Speaker 7: Okay, I'll watch the daughter and you better take that
- 47:16Speaker 7: head rip flows and get her windy unit, my gosh,
- 47:26Speaker 7: windows unit, window unite.
- 47:29Speaker 6: All right.
- 47:29Speaker 4: He's a window walter.
- 47:31Speaker 1: He is a window.
- 47:33Speaker 2: And she's a big old sweaty heifer. I know that's right.
- 47:40Speaker 1: You ain't putting up with that Drummond. What if he said, no, baby,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I'm sorry. But like Pooh said, who's like no, she's
- 47:44Speaker 1: staying with me.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I'm sorry. What are you gonna do about it?
- 47:46Speaker 7: Well said, I would say, Well, then you and her
- 47:49Speaker 7: boats gets all the room. It's the holiday and with
- 47:51Speaker 7: a air conditioner, and I hope you're happy.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Who wouldn't last as your man?
- 47:56Speaker 7: No, because he ain't living, he ain't.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Thank you, YORLANDA love you by.
- 48:03Speaker 3: It's tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid
- 48:06Speaker 3: in the morning.
- 48:07Speaker 6: Only on the new mixed one two point nine.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Get that half for a window unit.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Wow, words of advice, I'll never forget Candice Lopez.
- 48:17Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 48:18Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:18Speaker 4: Speaking of no Ac, you gonna be hot today. Just
- 48:20Speaker 4: prepare yourself. We're gonna get up to one hundred towards
- 48:23Speaker 4: the end of the school day and then we'll stay
- 48:24Speaker 4: in the triple digits all week. But yeah, back to
- 48:27Speaker 4: school for fort Worth, Garland, Desto, some of the bigger
- 48:31Speaker 4: districts heading back pretty much the same all week. It's
- 48:33Speaker 4: already eighty one degrees outside right now. And speaking up
- 48:36Speaker 4: back to school. There's a new report that says during
- 48:38Speaker 4: the school year, parents spend a total of four hundred
- 48:41Speaker 4: and thirty two hours on meal planning and meal prep.
- 48:45Speaker 4: So that is three hours a week grocery shopping, two
- 48:48Speaker 4: hours a week packing kids lunches, and then four hours
- 48:51Speaker 4: a week cooking on average. So this is what we're
- 48:54Speaker 4: all in for this week.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Who's got time Welcome back?
- 48:57Speaker 4: I know it's a lot.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I mean it is a lot, though it is.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Yeah, guys, there's also a nationwide a jalapeno recall this morning,
- 49:03Speaker 4: affecting a number of prepared foods. Now, so, the USDA
- 49:08Speaker 4: has issued an alert as Taylor Farms, the food producer
- 49:11Speaker 4: linked to the cyclospora outbreak, is now pulling more than
- 49:14Speaker 4: a dozen products from stores. So these are things like
- 49:17Speaker 4: burritos and geladas, wraps, dips, salsas, wacamoles are all part
- 49:23Speaker 4: of this recall because of the salmonella outbreak linked to Klapano's.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Wait a minute, so now Taylor Farms has halopenno issues too.
- 49:31Speaker 4: Well, yeah, there's a salmonella outbreak in Jalapano's. Now Taylor
- 49:34Speaker 4: Farm says, well, we're putting all of the jlapanos in
- 49:37Speaker 4: our wraps, burritos prepared foods, and these have been sold
- 49:40Speaker 4: at stores like Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Kroger.
- 49:44Speaker 4: So now check your food for klapanos because that could
- 49:48Speaker 4: be the source.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Of more which ones or well.
- 49:53Speaker 4: The tailor farms once for sure, but the jalapenos nationwide
- 49:56Speaker 4: are like, hey, watch yourself.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Okay, I thought something was fro and it pretty much
- 50:00Speaker 2: killed anything.
- 50:01Speaker 4: Well, I guess not. Some of these prepared foods are
- 50:03Speaker 4: just like raps that are just you know, prepackaging, a
- 50:05Speaker 4: little plastic intre or like you get the pre maade
- 50:08Speaker 4: wacamole in stores because you don't want to make it.
- 50:11Speaker 4: You say, it's so cool, Well, wacamole, what is that?
- 50:14Speaker 4: The block?
- 50:15Speaker 2: The gringo style, the guacamole.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I love guacamole.
- 50:22Speaker 4: Depends on who I'm with.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Oh that was me.
- 50:24Speaker 2: I went to the Meta Khana and I get, you know, tablitas.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Yeah, And I said, I always feel so intimidating when
- 50:33Speaker 1: I go up there because I'm so like what yeah,
- 50:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, hi, can I have two pounds of tablitas?
- 50:40Speaker 2: And the guy's like Okay, guys, there's.
- 50:45Speaker 4: Some parents going online warning people about what TSA is
- 50:49Speaker 4: taking from their kids in airports. Those needles, you know,
- 50:52Speaker 4: the squishy, colorful cubes. They've been so popular this year.
- 50:56Speaker 4: But parents are saying TSA's rule that liquids and gels
- 50:59Speaker 4: have to be no more than three point four ounces,
- 51:02Speaker 4: me as these toys, these dumplings, other squishy toys are
- 51:06Speaker 4: getting taken from their kids.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 4: These videos are sad because the kids are so upset.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Well, you gotta get over it and figure it out.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Yeah, so the ones that are less than three point
- 51:20Speaker 4: four ounces are allowed, but they have to fit inside
- 51:22Speaker 4: a quart sized bag. But like, kids are carrying these
- 51:25Speaker 4: things everywhere.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Yeah, well they're like emotional support squishes. Yeah, people love it.
- 51:30Speaker 1: There is something comforting about those things.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Oh, there is, for sure. The little dumplings and stuff,
- 51:35Speaker 4: and they have little scented ones that look like pies
- 51:38Speaker 4: and they smell like vanilla.
- 51:39Speaker 1: But if you can't take them on planes, can't take
- 51:40Speaker 1: them on planes. But you know that's why I like Pooh.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I just grab his rolls in the back.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Of his head.
- 51:45Speaker 4: That's your sish.
- 51:46Speaker 2: If I can't use my I just.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Those okay, approved, Well sometimes they still search in between.
- 51:56Speaker 4: Them though your Texas stop story.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Oh that's a hot take.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Let us know what you think.
- 52:04Speaker 6: Here's today's hot take.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Hot take A mixed one O two point nine. It's
- 52:08Speaker 1: Bailly the Kid Candelow Paths pretty sure pood by the way.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Before we get to hot take, back to school time,
- 52:12Speaker 1: I know today it's Fort Worth, Garland, DeSoto, a few others.
- 52:16Speaker 1: We're doing something this week which I'm excited about, called
- 52:19Speaker 1: pick my pickup line. Yeah, so if you're getting you
- 52:23Speaker 1: know you're in the pickup lines are boring, and the
- 52:27Speaker 1: drop off too. I've fallen asleep. I've seen other people
- 52:31Speaker 1: fall asleep too. We're doing something cool though. We want
- 52:33Speaker 1: to hook up your pickup line, your drop off line
- 52:36Speaker 1: with free concert tickets. So we just got to pick yours.
- 52:38Speaker 1: So while you're in the drop offline this week or
- 52:41Speaker 1: the pickup line or whatever, just take a picture of
- 52:44Speaker 1: you listening to us in your car waiting for your kids,
- 52:47Speaker 1: and then tag us at Mix one O two nine FM,
- 52:50Speaker 1: and we're gonna pick some random pickup lines and just
- 52:52Speaker 1: come over there with some free.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Concert ticket surprises.
- 52:55Speaker 1: I'm excited for that and just show up to a
- 52:57Speaker 1: school one day and just go here, let's hook you up.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Thank you for listen, So you'll get hooked up and
- 53:01Speaker 1: everybody else there too, hopefully. I mean, we'll have a
- 53:03Speaker 1: lot of tickets. I don't know if we'll have enough
- 53:05Speaker 1: for the whole school, but we're gonna get you in
- 53:07Speaker 1: either way. So just do that tag us at mix
- 53:10Speaker 1: one of two nine FM. We're gonna kick it off
- 53:12Speaker 1: this week. So back and I know tomorrow's Dallas Mesquite.
- 53:15Speaker 1: I know Plano is going back to school tomorrow. So
- 53:17Speaker 1: take that picture and the pickup line or the drop offline,
- 53:20Speaker 1: and we'll hook you up, all right. Hot take of
- 53:21Speaker 1: the day. Something that happened to me Friday. And I'm
- 53:24Speaker 1: not usually this guy, and I love kids. I'm not
- 53:27Speaker 1: even the type of guy who doesn't like kids, and
- 53:30Speaker 1: but this was out of control. So I'm in Plano.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I had to go by playing against sports for something, right,
- 53:37Speaker 1: they didn't have what I needed, so either way, I
- 53:38Speaker 1: was like, well, there's a going going gone, you know,
- 53:40Speaker 1: around the corner. Dick's going going gone, like a clearance store.
- 53:43Speaker 1: So I'm like, I'm gonna go there and look for
- 53:45Speaker 1: a couple of things.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 53:46Speaker 1: So as I'm looking around, there is a kid. I'm
- 53:49Speaker 1: not even kidding you, there was a kid. A couple
- 53:51Speaker 1: kids screaming in the aisle at the top of their lungs,
- 53:56Speaker 1: just just being so out of control. One kid that's
- 53:59Speaker 1: just I can't even tell you how loud to annoying
- 54:02Speaker 1: it was to where I mean, and they're close to me,
- 54:05Speaker 1: to where I looked around, I'm like, the parents are
- 54:07Speaker 1: not doing a thing about this is insane. Yeah, and
- 54:10Speaker 1: I never go up to other people's kids. I almost
- 54:13Speaker 1: instagrammed it. The only reason I didn't is because it
- 54:15Speaker 1: was a kid, right, and I'm not gonna put some
- 54:17Speaker 1: random kid on my Instagram. Maybe should have because this
- 54:20Speaker 1: kid was saying himself he was he was, oh, so
- 54:25Speaker 1: he's just screaming in the middle of the aisle, screaming.
- 54:28Speaker 1: So I go up and I look at him because
- 54:30Speaker 1: he's close anyway, and I was like, why don't you
- 54:32Speaker 1: go find your mom or your dad? Wow, that's all
- 54:37Speaker 1: I said. Okay, that's all I said. And he looked
- 54:39Speaker 1: at me like he stopped crying. He looked at me
- 54:42Speaker 1: like whatever, weird guy with tattoos, and he walked off. Yeah,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I guess and I'm kind of looking and I see
- 54:50Speaker 1: mom was like seven aisles away, right, And she comes
- 54:55Speaker 1: back over to me and she goes, is everything okay?
- 55:00Speaker 2: And I go, well, that's what I was wondering.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Oh, And I was like, I just said you might
- 55:04Speaker 1: want to find you because he was screaming at the
- 55:06Speaker 1: top of his lungs, crying, Oh I thought you needed something.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I'm like, no, I don't know if the kid went
- 55:11Speaker 1: up to and said, hey, this man told me to
- 55:13Speaker 1: get you. Yeah, I was saying for you.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:17Speaker 1: But then like she gave me this attitude, and I'm like,
- 55:20Speaker 1: and I can and I'm okay with being in the
- 55:22Speaker 1: wrong sometimes, Yeah, I hate it, but I'll admit it.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Who you.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I drove off going did I do something? Was
- 55:31Speaker 2: I in the wrong? I didn't discipline the.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Kid, right, No, that was a very tactful way of
- 55:35Speaker 4: doing it. I think.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I didn't say like, hey, go where's your mom? Where's
- 55:40Speaker 1: your dad? I just said, why don't you go find
- 55:41Speaker 1: your mom or dad? Yeah, because there's obviously nowhere.
- 55:44Speaker 2: I can see.
- 55:45Speaker 4: You shouldn't be here alone.
- 55:46Speaker 2: You're unattended. Yeah, and and you're crying.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Obviously something's I'm not going to be like, what's wrong,
- 55:51Speaker 1: because then it's that could be looked at as creepy.
- 55:54Speaker 2: But it's also.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Very annoying that you're screaming in my ear, you know,
- 55:59Speaker 1: as I'm looking at discounted underwear.
- 56:03Speaker 4: For sure, you know what I mean.
- 56:06Speaker 2: The he was but I thought, what would you I know, Cannie,
- 56:11Speaker 2: I know your answer.
- 56:12Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't said anything. I don't talk to other
- 56:14Speaker 4: people's kids, and let's it unless it's an emergency, like a.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Lot a lot of people said that though that I
- 56:19Speaker 2: talked to.
- 56:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't tell kids what to do. It's really hard.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Even my niece was over, you know, all week last week,
- 56:24Speaker 4: and I had seen her in two and a half years.
- 56:25Speaker 4: She's a totally different kid now she's seven. But she
- 56:28Speaker 4: was brushing her teeth and came out of the bathroom
- 56:30Speaker 4: and sat on the couch, which this is Enzo's move too.
- 56:32Speaker 4: Likes to come out of the bathroom while brushing the teeth.
- 56:35Speaker 4: You know, even just me having to tell her to
- 56:37Speaker 4: go back to the bathroom, I felt.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Bad about but you did.
- 56:40Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, but that's a fun anti kind of way.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Okay, like a kid, and that's also a kid you know. Yeah,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I know, Poop probably would have.
- 56:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm always Opiek's other people's kids. I'm gonna
- 56:51Speaker 5: say something. Really, I don't care see some say something.
- 56:54Speaker 5: I'm saying something to your child. If you can't handle
- 56:57Speaker 5: your kid, I will.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:58Speaker 5: I was in line the other day and there was
- 56:59Speaker 5: a throwing a fit because he wanted some candy, and
- 57:02Speaker 5: he kept walking over to his mom. She was looking
- 57:04Speaker 5: at the blouse and she was like, no, I said,
- 57:05Speaker 5: put it back, Jimmy. He went back, and then he
- 57:08Speaker 5: just started throwing mentos on the.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Ground and all this other stuff. And I was like, hey, man,
- 57:12Speaker 1: what are you doing kid?
- 57:14Speaker 4: I said that to the kid.
- 57:15Speaker 5: I said, you can't be doing that, and he was
- 57:17Speaker 5: like and I was like, you need to go to
- 57:19Speaker 5: your mom, and he walked. He walked off, and the
- 57:21Speaker 5: cashier was like, I'm so glad you said something because
- 57:24Speaker 5: you know, of course she ain't gonna say something that
- 57:26Speaker 5: was a target.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna say something to your child. You better
- 57:28Speaker 1: handle your mission.
- 57:30Speaker 2: You'll discipline somebody else's kid.
- 57:31Speaker 5: Yeah, real quick. I come from a time where anybody
- 57:34Speaker 5: can reach out and touch you.
- 57:35Speaker 2: You never know.
- 57:36Speaker 8: See.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Now, that's why.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You might be able to discipline or say something my kid,
- 57:41Speaker 1: but if you put hands on my kid.
- 57:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, no, I wouldn't do that, but I know
- 57:44Speaker 5: when I was growing up Tony Trunkcoso's mom My mom
- 57:48Speaker 5: gave her permission if you see him acting up.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Some schools are still like it.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Whoop. Yeah, there's some small town still that a stranger
- 57:56Speaker 1: will spank your kid. Can you imagine maybe these kids
- 58:01Speaker 1: need it? Oh yeah, they need.
- 58:04Speaker 4: Parents are just overstimulated, overwhelmed right now, there's just too
- 58:07Speaker 4: much to keep up with. It's tough.
- 58:10Speaker 2: It is tough, but the kids, I mean, I get
- 58:12Speaker 2: it too.
- 58:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't have a kid yelling in public places
- 58:15Speaker 4: and terrorizing a story.
- 58:16Speaker 6: You know what.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It was almost like she was immune to it though.
- 58:18Speaker 1: It was almost like she was so used to it out. Yeah,
- 58:20Speaker 1: she was almost so used to hearing this kid cry
- 58:22Speaker 1: that she was probably like, well I didn't even notice, right,
- 58:25Speaker 1: Like what is going on?
- 58:26Speaker 2: If that's the case, that is bad?
- 58:28Speaker 1: All right?
- 58:29Speaker 2: What do you think discipline other kids? Yes?
- 58:31Speaker 6: No?
- 58:31Speaker 1: Eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Or do you think it's okay to spank random kids? No,
- 58:37Speaker 1: that's not okay spanking strangers, and I'm not talking about
- 58:43Speaker 1: poop poo.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Would like it from you?
- 58:45Speaker 6: Mixed one two point nine?
- 58:46Speaker 1: It's mixed one or two point nine Ability Kid Candicelow
- 58:49Speaker 1: pas producer Pooh another trip to go to Disneyland if
- 58:51Speaker 1: you want to go a chance at nine ten, make
- 58:54Speaker 1: sure you listen. We got them all day, so many
- 58:56Speaker 1: chances to win.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Earlier we were talking about this, like, what did your
- 58:59Speaker 1: ex take because of a dirty little secret?
- 59:03Speaker 2: What did your ex take and never give back to you?
- 59:06Speaker 8: Right?
- 59:06Speaker 2: Whatever that may be? Let us are you ready for
- 59:08Speaker 2: this one? Heather?
- 59:09Speaker 8: How are you?
- 59:10Speaker 7: I'm good? How are you?
- 59:11Speaker 2: I'm good?
- 59:12Speaker 6: Oh?
- 59:12Speaker 3: No?
- 59:12Speaker 2: What did your ex take and capture?
- 59:18Speaker 8: Well?
- 59:18Speaker 9: He kept him because I refused to take them back,
- 59:21Speaker 9: But after him cheating on me like five times in
- 59:26Speaker 9: a week, I kicked him out and he took all
- 59:29Speaker 9: of let's call him personal massagers out of my nightstand.
- 59:33Speaker 6: What.
- 59:36Speaker 9: You know, and then offered them back later on, and
- 59:39Speaker 9: I was like, no, thank you. I know how you
- 59:42Speaker 9: get around and I don't know.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm okay, Heather, I'm more curious about this guy
- 59:49Speaker 1: cheating five times in one week? Good lord?
- 59:53Speaker 9: Oh yeah, what was that?
- 59:54Speaker 1: How did you catch him. Did you catch him all
- 59:56Speaker 1: at once or did you catch one day at a time.
- 59:58Speaker 1: It's the same person.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: I had suspicions with, like about some of his co workers.
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: He managed the bar, and then he would sleep on
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: the pool table if they worked too late, supposedly, and
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: but then one day he left his Facebook messenger open
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: and there were like five different women he was talking to.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: One of them.
- 1:00:18Speaker 9: He was saying, I guess was pregnant and he was
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: going to take care of her and her baby. He
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: wasn't even paying bills at our house.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean five times in one week is wild?
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Who has that time?
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so much time you do that?
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Exactly where was he from?
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: So we know?
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Oh okay, oh really that bad? Yeah he slept with
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: everyone in Berlin. Well, thank you so much, Heather, And
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry that happened you okay.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Oh it's okay.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: I'm way past that now.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I'm glad.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we don't get you. Yeah, get your own massagers.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: He don't.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Thank you, Heather, Chris, what up?
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: Chris?
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: What up?
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: She took? What?
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: So? I had bought a long haired prince bulldog and
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: it cost him about eight thousand dollars.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Oh we split up.
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: Uh, she come to the house whenever I was out
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: of town at work, took the dog and blocked me
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: on social media to text message to everything.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: No way of her and took Yeah.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: Oh that's not the dog.
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: What did you You?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Never got it back, never got it back?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Oh this is a damn country song.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Never got the dog, never got my dog back? Block
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: me on Instagram? I'm here, good, give me a beer. Yeah, well, Chris,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry man. That sucks. You know what, stay right there.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Let me see if we got something. We don't have
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: a dog, but maybe we got something for you. Okay,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: she can't thank you, Chris Can't's never had to deal
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: with anything like that. You never really had crazy X situations. Yeah,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you're missing out. You're lucky.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: It builds character.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: And debt. You haven't lived until you've dated a ski
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: girl that stole your dog. Have you ever heard anybody
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: steal something from you? And toxicause?
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I had a girl. See Murder stole my phone iPhone.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: He dated a girl he called murder brand new iPhone.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I mean it was in her name, but she she
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: didn't have to steal it. Well, then you know what
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: it was. Again, I guarantee you if I called her
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: right now, she tell you you probably deserved it.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: No, that time I did so she was paying for
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: your phone. No, I was paying for it, but it
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: was in her name. Yeah, and she had bought it
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: for me. Yeah yeah, toxicau.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Well, I bet I would hear this what you shouldn't
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: be texting other girls from a phone I bought you. See,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: we don't have to bring that up exactly.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: Thank you, Miss one O two point nine.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: These Texas Tough stories on the tents with Billy the
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: Kid in the.
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: Morning only on the new Mix one O two.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Point nine Chance for to Disneyland coming to next. We
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: do it on the tents pretty much every hour, So yeah,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: get you a trip on us.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: Candice Lopez, what's up?
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: Well, just a reminder to watch out for school zones
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: that are back on today around the Metroplex in big
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: districts like Fort Worth, Garland and DeSoto. School started this morning.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: Lots of kids on scooters. Those things are crazy and
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: they're fast, so Billy's pay attention around these schools for
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: bikes and walkers. Speaking of Fort Worth, the high school
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: students there can actually ride public transportation like the Trinity
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Metro text Rail and Trinity Railway Express A four free
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: this school year, so I guess they tested this out
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: last year. It was a big success, so it's official
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: this school year. You could ride it to school, work,
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: errands for anything like entertainment or medical appointments, which I
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: think is pretty cool for high school.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: No, that is cool. I mean what kid were you?
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Were you the kid that took the bus? Did you walk?
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Did you ride your bike? What'd you do?
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: No?
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: I took the bus and I hated it because it
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: was just hot on there, and kids were rowdy and
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: pushing each other and just it was like the Wild West.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: On our bus they have I can't even remember because
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I grew up up north, like elementary school, I didn't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: have a C.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Did they have an AC on these bus?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Dow know better?
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: Yeah, come on, you don't think some of them did.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: No, we didn't.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You just get your thumb well down that window.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I know, I know when you were in school they didn't.
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: They also didn't have a AC on our bus.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I think the driver had a little fan and maybe
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: so azy, But they also didn't have lights when went
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to school.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: Such a busy time though, for back to school.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: If my mom ever had to drop me off at school,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I was always like, drop me off way out here.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Yeah, like I thought it was cool. I wanted to
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: pretend like I walked to school.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: I think in high school my aunt picked us up
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: because my cousins ended up going to the same school eventually.
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: But that was but I was a bus rider.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Yeah, back to school time. I didn't mind the bus.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: I kind of liked it, okay, especially if I sat
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: in the back and I get to moon everybody back
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: then cut up in the bag. Yeah, Olive rolled the
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: bus in middle school, high school, I walked. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Well you were also a little bit old. No, I'm
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: not even joking here, you go. You were older though,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Like I was a young I graduated young. I think
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you were older when you went to high school.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Weren't you?
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Yeah somewhat. Yeah, didn't you graduate when you were like
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: nineteen or so?
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Now I'm not even joking.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: Oh okay, anyway, guys, if you bought a Powerball ticket
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: for Saturdays drawing at the Tom Thumb on Northwest Highway
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: in Dallas, you should probably check your ticket because someone
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: has a winning ticket where two million dollars. So this
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: is the store at seventy seven hundred Northwest Highway. The
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: ticket matched all five numbers, but not the power ball,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: So check yourself if you got a powerball.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I can't believe somebody would play the power ball and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: then not even check.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Yeah, not even checked to seat.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Maybe they're thinking it, well, I didn't hit the power ball,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: so I didn't win. Yeah they don't. Maybe they're not
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: familiar with it. But you could still win even if
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you didn't hit the power ball. You got two million dollars.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You could be sitting there.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Someone right now is sitting there, have no idea there
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: a millionaire.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: That or they're just sitting on it and like, I'm
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: not telling anybody about this until Monday when I go
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: wherever I gotta go to figure this out. Maybe that's
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: the case, because are you out here telling people.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: No, I'm not telling people, but they're going to know
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: as far as like you know that you still tell
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the state that the power they're gonna know, right, so
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: they're gonna say somebody claimed it, but they wanted to
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: remain anonymous. Okay, if you hit the lotto, you're anonymous.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Are you telling everybody.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: No, I'm telling everybody, watch my status real quick.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I'm hiding I'll tell y'all, but I'm hiding it from
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: everybody else.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Because you own too many people money.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Yes, that's what it is, exactly real quick, guys. This
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: theory about shake Shack is going viral on social media
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: because this couple on TikTok says shake Shack is appearing
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: to charge more for menu items when you decide not
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: to tip on some of those kiosks.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: The company says this is not their paul, let's see.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: They're looking into this location to see why people are
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: saying this. But in the video online, you see this
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: couple order from the kiosk three shakes and they're anywhere
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: from six dollars to six fifty, and then they go
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: to check out when it asked how much they want
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: to tip. When they say no, a pop up menu
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: comes up and it says, you know, there's been a
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: pricing update to one or more of your card items.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: And that's when they went back to see that their
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: shakes had jumped up fifty cents each.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And why else would they jump up?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like that happen when you're mid
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: check out for the price to go up.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I've never seen that before. If people are asking,
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: you know, is this a glitch? Is this intentional? If
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: this is legal, how is it legal? And I guess
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: this location is at Salt Lake City's airport where they
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: were trying to get these shakes. It's also weird too
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: because for a while, Shakesheck wouldn't even let you tip,
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: and then they brought it back, but their CEO even
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: said a few years ago people shouldn't feel obligated to
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: tip for a simple order.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: I'm definitely not tipping a kiosk.
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's weird.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Well, and I got some hate because we were talking
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: about that earlier. Someone in my DM said, anybody who
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: handles your food you should tip. Yeah, so meaning well, yeah,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I said I wouldn't tip because it's a kiosk and
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: nobody even took my order, right, A robot took my order,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: computer took my order.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: But like if you grab a cup and just pour
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: the thing in and put the lid on, I mean,
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: is that how much work is that tip?
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: This person was saying they still made your burger. Well,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: you're getting paid to make my.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Burger, right, isn't that your job? I work here because
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: I make burgers.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: You're not getting two dollars an hour, you know, like these.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: I'm a tip in service because they're not getting paid appropriate.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I'm not saying you get paid enough, but I'm saying
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: at least you get tips aren't expected as a part
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: of your job.
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, if you don't want tips and don't
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: put it in the menu, don't put it anywhere as
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: an option, shake shack.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: But if I see someone having great service at a
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: even if it's a fast food place, yeah, I'm happy
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: to tip.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: For sure. But at the Kiosk, Yeah that feels weird
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: because my order just appears on a counter.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it just showed up. Now I'm gonna tip the row.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: But I'm tipp and chat GBT, I guess so.
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: I'm gonna give you posted though, if they figure out
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: what's going on with this some Canda slow Pez. Those

- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Let me know?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: And so many like teachers hit me up. Should I
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: give you a hint for tomorrow?
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: What's mom?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: It's a lunch lady. Oh that's all I'm gonna say.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: What It is a lunch lady.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: So if you've got a secret, set it up, confess,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: let us know. And you have one. What's going on?
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: All right, I'm recently divorced, and you know, let's just
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: say it wasn't exactly a mutual decision. Uh. Now, I
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: can't prove my ex wife was having a fair but
- 1:10:08Speaker 8: she's already living it up with some new guys, so
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: you know, draw your own conclusions there.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Oh, so she moved on.
- 1:10:14Speaker 8: Oh, I would say so. I would say that is
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: a pretty fair assessment. But here's here's the part that
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: really got me fired up right now. She has been
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: posting all over social media about her divorce yard sale
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: this weekend like it's some kind of cute little celebration.
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: I think it's imply tacky, especially since we got kids
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: who can all see all this someday.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: That's a good point. I mean, so a divorce yard sale.
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: A divorce yard sales, she's calling it. And what really
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: burns me up here is when we split everything up.
- 1:10:50Speaker 8: You know, there was some there were a bunch of
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: things she claimed she just couldn't find, like you know,
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: family tools, a few collectible some camping gear, even stuff. Honestly,
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: even so, my dad gave me just years ago, just
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: you know, magically missing, somehow just gone. I got a
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: feeling I know exactly where some of those missing us
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: about to turn up.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: Here's where I get to my confession. I am going
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: to show up the second that yard sale opens this
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: Saturday morning with a couple of my buddies and a
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: pickup truck. If I see my stuff sitting out there
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: with price tag on it, I am taking it back.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I am not buying it.
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: I am.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Wow o, no savage, Are we sure we.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: Want to do this?
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: You know, this whole thing has been ugly. I think
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: she's seen. Like I said, I can't prove it, but
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: she has this coming. And you know the nice thing
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: about it is she thinks I won't come because I
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: have the kids this weekend. Jokes on her. My mom
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: already agreed to watch kids for a few hours. Call
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: me petty, you know if you want, If she can
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: turn our worse than the yard sale, I reckon, I'm
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: going to turn into her recovery mission.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: So you know, I just I get nervous about this.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: Yeah, well, anytime there's like a possible conflict, I get nervous.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: But if that's your stuff, I do get frustrated to
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: sell it.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's ridiculous.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Though she's not giving and you know what I mean, Unfortunately,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I've been through something like this and I've had friends
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: that I mean, I got all my stuff back for
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: the most part, but I have a friend who went
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: through something similar like this, and you know she wouldn't
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: give back a lot of his stuff. And you go, well,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: go through the system. Well, the system doesn't really do anything. No,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I mean, unfortunately, they really don't. And for guys and
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: for men and women, it's just like, once something's in
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: somebody's possession, what do they say, Possession is ninety percent
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: of the law, so whoever has it, it's pretty much yours.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Oh wow, you know it's hard to prove that it's not.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: So I get the frustration. I just also get worried
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: that this is gonna come. This could get ugly quick.
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, I feel like I have the proper
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: recourse in this situation, also called my buddies, got friends
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: on the force, so you know, this will be as
- 1:13:05Speaker 8: you know, by the book, as possible. But frankly, that
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: is my stuff, and I don't I don't know why
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: she's blowing this whole thing out of proportion. I feel
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: like he doesn't want me digging into her dirty business,
- 1:13:16Speaker 8: her dirty laundry. So I feel like this will be
- 1:13:19Speaker 8: you know, karma.
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Okay, all right, Well, yeah, you got to get his stuff.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: He said, you know, she she might have something that
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: his dad gave him.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: I mean, I get it.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: You know, I can't say that I would feel any different. Yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: and you couldn't find it.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Well, let's ask this too.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Is a divorce yard sale tacky? Why do you have
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: to put divorce Yeah?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, just yard sale? Why why divorce yard sale?
- 1:13:42Speaker 8: And she's on social media too, like yeah, you know,
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: I mean it's the whole thing. It's really tacky.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: She's being patty. It's kind of like a is a
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: divorce party tacky?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: Is it the same thing? Because some people say divorce
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: parties are tacky too? Yeah?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean mean it just doesn't there's no need
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: for it. Just I'm having a yard sale, right, why
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: divorce yard sale?
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: Or just put it on marketplace.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I've never seen divorce yard sale. I gotta be honest,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: so I would stop. I'm stopping because you know there's
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: gonna be some golf clubs.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: This is basically, if you're a man and you need something,
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: come through.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Yeah maybe a PS five, yeah, mower, mower, some tools. Yeah, okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Well sir, listen, please good luck. I don't want any confrontation.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Don't get in trouble too far. Yeah, it's not worth
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: all that. But I understand your frustrations, and I mean
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I kind of do hope you get your stuff.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: Back in a weird way something sentimental.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I mean, go for it. Yeah, so well, good luck, Okay, Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: well I appreciate it.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I will.
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: I promised tould be by the book about it, and
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: I'm not wanting to start anything there. But it's my stuff,
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: all right. Well take it back.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: If we get a call from you from jail, I'll
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: know why.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: There, right, we'll bail you out. Well, good luck, all right.
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: I appreciate it. Thanks.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: You just don't have a good feeling about this.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Tomorrow I think about it because the woman who has
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a divorce yard sale is also the woman that will
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: absolutely fight She will fight you. Yeah, she will fight
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: you in the front lawn.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: It could get ugly in front of the kids. No,
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's right.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I'm just saying it makes one two point nine. We're
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: about to get out of here. It's bailing a kid.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Candice Slow pads producer, Pooh, We'll see you tomorrow, bright
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: and early for the first day of school for Dallas tomorrow.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: That's right.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I'm a squee huge plain Okeeters, Carolton Staters, you're Alma mater.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Cann This what you guys going on today? What are
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: you doing?
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: Well?
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Speaking of school, we have meet the teacher tonight. So
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: we're gonna meet in those new teachers. One of them
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: is temporary because his actual teacher is still on maternity leave. Yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: so we're going to meet them tonight, catch up with
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: all his buddies, and yeah, just kind of reconnect with
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: the school.

- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Please don't go.

- 1:16:27Speaker 5: please don't. I was like, no, I'm not going out there. No,
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: just send me, send me your schedule, and we're cool
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: on that.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I know. I can't believe about to have
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: a freshman in high school.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: That's weird, guys. I don't like that. Yeah, they got
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: a third grader.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Oh no, enjoy it.

- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm like, why I'm hot Will's backpack?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: No, I wish I buy him like cool stuff. Yeah,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: oh but he steals. The problem is is now he
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: wears the same size clothes as me. Right pretty much.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: So all of a sudden, I'll have like an expensive
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: pair of shoes gone, and I'm like, uh, hello, rider,
