- Sarahn Says: Hello, beautiful people. Today is March 31st. Yes, the last day of March. ⁓ what a beautiful month March was. Today's calendar challenge is remind yourself what you do and don't have control over. This is so important. My great-grandmother used to have the serenity prayer up in her home, and it said, God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage. to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. And I used to always as a little girl be so marveled by that last part, the wisdom to know the difference before my little eight-year-old brain could comprehend what it meant to know the difference what you do and don't have control over. I was just enthralled that we could live a life where we could know. ⁓ what we needed to lean into and what we needed to lean out of, what we needed to put our hands on and what we needed to take our hands off of. And now that I'm older and I truly do understand the magic and the magnitude of knowing the difference between what you do and don't have control over, now I'm making my business to ask myself in a moment, when I feel resistance, when I feel tension, when I feel like I'm climbing uphill, I ask myself, is this something that I have control over? Because a lot of times, we are exerting energy to control things that we do not have any control over. And it takes so much of us. It's so taxing to our energy and taxing to our joy. So today, remind yourself of what you do and don't have control over. If you feel like something's coming up and you're like, wait a second, why am I feeling tension? Why am I feeling resistance? Ask yourself, is this something that I have control over? Because having control is not just maintaining control. Having control is also knowing what you don't have control over. And by being able to navigate in a space knowing what you do and don't have control over, you maintain the highest level of control and ultimately the highest level of joy. It is yours. It is yours. It is yours. Happy March! Such a beautiful season with you all and I will see you all in April. Just enough is more than enough, Saran says.
