Richard Pridgen, beloved Wilmington resident and longtime Piedmont Gas service technician, passed away at 72, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, passion, and love. Known for surfing, model airplanes, and cruising his Corvette, he cherished life with his wife Rose and family. He is survived by his son Paul and grandson Paul Thomas. Visitation and graveside service are scheduled for July 17, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice or Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center are encouraged.
