Speaker B: Thanks for tuning in to the undercuts review of the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix. Please rate, review and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts and enjoy the show.

Speaker C: By being a racing driver, you are at risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver.
• 0:31
Speaker D: All right, boys. Well, we're back for. I have obviously not been quiet about this during our time doing this. This is obviously probably my least favorite quote, unquote race of the. Of the. Of the calendar. But the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, I mean, it was more exciting than it's been in races past. I mean, penalties everywhere and crashes everywhere. I mean, it was. It was nonstop.
• 1:01
Speaker E: It had a nice sprinkling of chaos about it. Yeah, didn't it?
• 1:06
Speaker A: For sure, for sure. I mean, started off with some interesting incidents. Maybe you could say that it was a bit processional for 40 laps or so. Yeah, maybe 58 with the penalties sprinkled in. I suppose there was definitely the penalties coming through, but, yeah. And then. Yeah, the end was dramatic, but, yeah, not really for overtaking or, you know, driver action on the tracks of overtakes,
• 1:32
Speaker E: I think on the part of the racing bulls. They managed to get a few overtakes in there between them.
• 1:37
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 1:38
Speaker D: And Albon got passed right. When they tried to do that switcheroo thing. And he ended up getting passed by some. By Lind Vlad, but he still had to pit anyway at that point.
• 1:48
Speaker A: But, yeah, yeah, but I mean, Antonelli, he's the man. Wins again. Yeah.
• 1:57
Speaker D: I mean, amidst all the chaos, it's still him at the top. Right. Five races in a row.
• 2:03
Speaker A: I mean, I was. I was absolutely drinking the Ferrari juice. I was watching the practice, I was watching the qualifying and, you know, I was ready for this to be Ferrari's weekend. And it nearly was, but I mean, it wasn't. Not really nearly. Kimmy had it locked down once he got pole and once he was away on race day, mostly untouchable, wasn't he? I mean, he lapped, ultimately. He ended up lapping everybody.
• 2:32
Speaker E: Almost everyone, but, yeah, everyone but the podium places, obviously, after the safety car, they let lapped cars overtake, which was basically Hajar and everyone behind Hajar. So they were bombing it round, which you got a feel for Gasly, haven't you, really then? Because he was third at that point. But he had what will. Well, I guess we'll come on to the penalties at some point.
• 3:00
Speaker A: But he Was carrying penalties on the
• 3:02
Speaker E: road and you know, when they were lining up behind the safety, behind the safety car, it was kind of, he was a lap ahead of Haja. Obviously he wasn't really, but you know.
• 3:14
Speaker A: Yeah, but yeah, Kimmy, Kimmy's the man. I was predicting that he couldn't continue this streak of race wins. But now, I mean we keep talking about, you know, consecutive race wins after your first race win, which is his current streak. But now five consecutive victories for Mercedes matching what Lewis did. I guess Lewis never won.
• 3:36
Speaker E: Lewis only ever won five in a
• 3:37
Speaker A: row according to my sources. You know, I'm happy to be wrong, but I, I, I, I'm reading here based on my research that yeah, five in a row for Lewis. I don't know when that was. So potentially if he wins one more, wow, six in a row.
• 3:54
Speaker E: That is notable. Yeah, I too, as reflected in my cubes F1 picks, I doubted Kimmy Antonelli.
• 4:05
Speaker D: Wait, you made picks?
• 4:07
Speaker E: I remember to make picks because Martin was here to remind me. Yeah, but it was, you know, I thought he'd shake, you know, I thought that I was also bought into the Ferrari pipe train certainly after Friday, but, but apparently some good simulator work really helped. On the Mercedes side, their car was looking really stiff. I did see on Friday practice there was an in car view of different cars and the Ferrari's riding the bumps pretty nicely. But the Mercedes was bouncing about three times when it came out of the nouvelle chicane, obviously delaying. If you can't ride the bumps, you can't get the power down. And that was something that they solved and that brought Kimmy back to the front. We see Verstappen on the front row alongside. Verstappen alongside on the front row. We'll come to his race in a minute. And then the Ferraris behind that. So great, great call. Great engineering on the part of Mercedes to get Kimmy to the front. But it was only Kimmy that could really benefit. I don't know quite what was happening with George, but you know, pretty flawless weekend from Antonelli. Yeah, I thought he was gonna, you know, the pressure of the fifth in a row. George with a little bit of needle coming in. Well, not really needle, just saying, you know, it was Kimmy's, you know, Kimmy's in the driver's seat. The thing is I was gonna be a little bit careful if he says that because does that then start psychologically, even if not intentionally start putting Kimmy first within the team?
• 5:56
Speaker A: Right. I think they start giving him the, the, the the breaks. Yeah, I mean, I mean if, if George didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck, right? He just couldn't get anything going. Like what did he qualify sixth?
• 6:10
Speaker D: When, when is it, when does it turn to bad luck for, for. From bad luck to just, you know, him not making good luck for himself.
• 6:18
Speaker A: Yeah, that's his, that might be his level. I mean a fair point.
• 6:22
Speaker D: What was his, I mean his like demeanor after that first race win? He's on the podium doing the pose of him like, you know, both hands out like he did in that one video years ago. And now he's just like a complete. He's like defeated already, it seems like. I mean he's not even close.
• 6:42
Speaker E: He, he described himself as bamboozled.
• 6:47
  Speaker D: He looks it.
• 6:48
Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. I mean it's. You've got to look at it though from the perspective of the last two races. Well, obviously this one, he couldn't get it going. He suffered massively because of the penalties. But in Canada he was on the pace, he was leading. He qualified ahead in both sprint, won the sprint, qualified ahead in the grand prix, was leading the grand Prix. So you know, obviously that was a power unit issue which knocked him back 25 points. This time he was not really in contention but he was into the points but for a massive error from his team and seemingly they told him not to come in but he did anyway and he was stacked up behind Antonelli and then he pulled into the pits and you pointed this out, Martin, the guy on the front right didn't touch the car. He knew not to touch it but the jack went in and the other guy pulled the wheel off and he
• 7:53
Speaker A: was like, oh no, I guess we're changing the tires then.
• 7:57
Speaker E: Changing the tires now. And obviously that meant that he got a drive through penalty after the restart which of course the field spread, everyone super tied up, put him straight to the back which you know is disproportionate to what actually happened. Yes, they messed up. They, they didn't serve the penalty properly. But if we, you know, let's talk about those penalties. Well, how many six was it drivers or six penalties for speeding in the pit lane? A lot.
• 8:27
Speaker A: I mean what, Lewis, George Gasly.
• 8:32
  Speaker E: Twice.
• 8:32
Speaker A: Twice, yeah. Oscar and Colapinto all. All at 60.1. Although. 60.0. Yeah, sorry, 60.1 kilometers per hour, 0.1 tenth of a kilometer hour over. Although saying Gasly second was 60.4. But all, all to do with just cutting the corners. So now we're all learning about how it's you know, remembering our high school physics. Speed is time over distance and how they measure it with your time between two points on in the pit lane. And if you cut the corner, you might only be going 60 kilometers per hour, but you've traveled a shorter distance in the way they calculate it. Yeah.
• 9:13
Speaker E: There are apparently eight or nine time loops.
• 9:18
  Speaker A: Okay. Yeah.
• 9:18
Speaker E: Down the pit lane.
• 9:20
  Speaker D: Right.
• 9:20
Speaker E: Because obviously everyone's coming into the pit into their own pit box. So you can't just go from the time you come into the time that you leave it breaks it down. And it's the one at the corner, I think. Think it's the one at the exit. People were talking about attacking the inn, but I think it was actually the exit because they. They were able to cut through the Cadillac box.
• 9:41
Speaker A: There was a cut. There was a cut on the way in, too. Whether that was as egregious or not. I mean, they were definitely saying be careful everywhere especially I've heard radios to Kimmy about being careful about that and driving around, following the lines a bit more or just lifting, you know, not. Not hitting the throttle as hard or, you know, on the limit of what the car thinks is 60 kilometers an hour. But.
• 10:04
Speaker E: Yeah, because of course, this year there are 11 teams. There's an extra pit box at the end that wasn't there before.
• 10:11
  Speaker A: Right.
• 10:12
Speaker E: So when they kind of run all their calculations of what they need to do to calibrate everything, they're kind of thinking about it, all this, and it's. And it's normally doesn't count because you're going a straight line down the fast lane of a pit lane.
• 10:23
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 10:24
Speaker E: But in Monaco, it's a little tighter.
• 10:26
Speaker A: There is no such thing as a straight in Monaco. Yeah, I mean, it's classic Formula one, Right. You know, they deal in millimeters. They deal in thousandths of a second and millimeters of downforce or whatever it might be, percentages of speed. You 0.1 km mile an hour over, you're over, and you get penalized. They. They don't make any bones about it. There's no lip wiggle room. Yeah.
• 10:51
Speaker E: I mean, I. I don't know if they did file ultimately a right of appeal as a gas. Gasly has, I believe, and I certainly don't know if anything has come of that, but they need to submit something that wasn't available at the time.
• 11:07
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 11:08
Speaker E: So I don't know if they have telemetry that is. Because everything has to be by things that are calibrated by the fia so they can. If they send their own stuff in. It's like. Yeah, well, it's inadmissible because whatever you measure it with is not. Has not been calibrated by the fia, so there's not really too much that they can submit. But I feel bad for Pierre because he had a great weekend.
• 11:34
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 11:35
Speaker E: And his second, you could see he was really mad.
• 11:38
Speaker A: Well, he was on the podium. Right. He was third effectively. And I think he was driving around the final. The cooldown lap thinking that maybe he was third. I don't know what he. If he realized the penalties that he was carrying. But, yeah, Alpine got out there, the wheels or whatever, to measure the pit lane and try and submit some grievance.
• 11:59
Speaker E: Yeah, he. I mean, he definitely knew he had the penalties because he showed during the red flag. You saw him really, really mad in the pit lane.
• 12:08
  Speaker A: Fair enough.
• 12:08
Speaker D: He, like, threw something.
• 12:09
Speaker E: He was. I think he was beating a towel against the barrier or something.
• 12:13
Speaker D: Yeah, he was throwing a little pepper
• 12:15
  Speaker E: tantrum,
• 12:17
  Speaker D: which is understandable.
• 12:19
Speaker A: And then what other. Other penalties were a bit more random. Perez kind of got screwed because he ended up. He got two grid penalties. One, he lined up at the start of the race in the wrong box because he didn't realize Bortoletto wasn't there. So I think he was a whole.
• 12:35
Speaker E: He was. Instead of going into the 18, he went into 16. He went into 16.
• 12:39
Speaker A: So we got that. And then I think. Didn't he line up incorrectly after the red flag? After the red flag as well?
• 12:47
Speaker E: Yeah, in the box. He just. Just pulled up anywhere, I guess, maybe.
• 12:52
Speaker A: Yeah, maybe that's more on.
• 12:53
Speaker E: Just start somewhere over there.
• 12:55
Speaker A: But ultimately, Cadillac would have got 10th, would have got their first point, and, yeah, that dropped them out.
• 13:02
Speaker D: So, yeah, it's brutal.
• 13:04
  Speaker A: That's brutal. Absolutely.
• 13:05
Speaker E: Instead, the point went to.
• 13:11
Speaker A: The redemption arc because, I mean, Lance Stroll was just working on another level. He's like, I'm gonna crash the car. I'm gonna cause a red flag. Then Sergio lines up.
• 13:21
Speaker D: You can't say that with Fernando involved.
• 13:23
Speaker E: You can't say that.
• 13:26
Speaker A: Checo lines up in the wrong box, gets a penalty. Fernando sneaks in, takes that 10 ball.
• 13:32
Speaker D: Lawrence is on the crew that's around the track, and whenever the cars weren't going around, he had a little chisel, and he was chiseling out the. The pavement right where they were, right where Lance crashed out.
• 13:43
Speaker A: The track looked terrible from what I saw. Like, it was really breaking up, falling apart. Yeah, I was kind of shocked that they restarted it. I was saying to Nick, I Didn't think they could restart it. I didn't think it was safe. And maybe my opinion is somewhat justified because leclerc went out at the same spot. Although Stroll blamed leclerc. Blamed his brakes being cold. Stroll, what did he blame? I can't remember what his excuse was. None of them seemed to blame the
• 14:13
Speaker D: track giving a shit.
• 14:14
Speaker E: Interestingly, I think Stroll also blamed his brakes.
• 14:19
Speaker A: Did he? Okay. Yeah.
• 14:20
Speaker E: But there's so many things going on with that car that it's like, yeah, maybe I know that, you know, Charlotte Claire's come off two pretty abysmal weekends. You know, obviously a dnf. He crashed out with his brakes. He was complaining about the brakes in Canada as well as, you know, saying that they are contributing. It's, you know, he's not getting. Breaking from both axles consistent with what the balance is supposed to be doing.
• 14:49
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 14:49
Speaker E: Brembo have even issued a statement to say, we'll look at the evidence, but you shouldn't just point to us and say that our breaks are shit. But it's like, you know, the guy who knows what he's doing.
• 15:02
  Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
• 15:03
Speaker E: You know, doesn't make errors like that. So. Yeah, just in the same way as Russell's had two bad weekends on the bounce, so has Charles Leclerc, because I had him as favorite going in home race. He's always, you know, the fastest qualifier that there is out there in equal machinery. Arguably, Ferrari were looking like the car on Friday. I put him down for the win, but it was a dnf. Unfortunately for the second Ferrari, the first Ferrari. Let's talk about Lewis. British.
• 15:39
  Speaker A: British.
• 15:40
Speaker E: We're allowed to talk about Lewis in glowing terms. He drives a Ferrari. Martin, obviously that's a double whammy for you. I mean, it's a great weekend. Vintage performance.
• 15:51
Speaker A: He couldn't. I mean, he was. I mean, he was. He got the most out of the car that I think he could. Right. Nobody was getting close to Kimmy, so he was the best of the rest.
• 16:00
Speaker D: And he was speaking of Kim's. That was his trophy all weekend. That's what they were showing on tv. Kim Kardashian all over the place.
• 16:08
Speaker A: Oh, geez. Wow. What a segue. We didn't get to talk about Ferrari enough.
• 16:17
Speaker E: Moving smoothly into the Kardashian sidebar, your honor. Fuck. Guys, Denied. Go back to Ferrari.
• 16:30
Speaker A: I'd rather talk about how Hamilton than Kim Kardashian. I have nothing to say about Kim Kardashian.
• 16:35
Speaker D: I mean, Lewis is getting stronger and stronger, it seems every race weekend where, like you said, Charles is going the opposite way this season.
• 16:43
Speaker A: He seemed. Lewis seems to be having fun. I think he was very frustrated with the Ferrari before, you know, the. The end as it finished in the last set of regulations. This one. I mean, they're not, you know, they're not the fastest car, but they're at least the best of the rest and they're mixing it up. I think he's starting to enjoy his driving a lot more.
• 17:02
  Speaker D: I agree.
• 17:04
Speaker A: He seems a lot, a lot happier. I mean, I think he was joking with Kimmy in the cool down room, you know. Oh, you know, five races in this season, you're catching me up already, Kimmy, you know, stuff like that, which is fun to see, but yeah, I mean, great. I mean, controlled race. I mean, there's only so much you can do at Monaco and I think Lewis obviously understands that and let the race come to him to some degree. You can't force your way through.
• 17:30
Speaker E: Yeah, he. He put Kimmy under pressure on the restarts, both the empty car and the standing start after the red flag. But it's such a short run down there, you know, it's not really ever going to get past, I think. What were they saying in the road to this? The last person to not lead into the first corner that started on pole was back in 2004 or five or something. It was Juan Pablo Montoya. David Coulthard.
• 18:00
Speaker A: Well, it helps when the guy second on the grid, engine fails at the start as well. That helps you get to the first quarter first, right?
• 18:08
Speaker E: Yeah, certainly on the first start that made life a little easier.
• 18:11
Speaker A: I mean, Verstappen, I mean, he got nowhere, right. He just rolled his car slowly to the left, got out the way. Luckily, nobody hit him seriously. But yeah, Kimmy basically had a complete free hit.
• 18:22
Speaker E: Yeah. And it's interesting, the warning lights flashed on the car. You saw that. But they had this change that allowed the batteries to kick in under 50 miles an hour to move you away on the start after all of those concerns early in the season. But it seemed like he got off the line very, very slowly. So I don't know, maybe it was a battery issue.
• 18:45
  Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know.
• 18:47
Speaker E: But it. He. He just didn't really move and he was going really, really slowly. I think Russell was the one who came frighteningly close to taking them. Take both taking themselves, but probably everyone behind George out of the race right before the first corner. But yeah, you could see as Verstappen set off and he realized he wasn't going Anywhere he pulled to the left. I saw him turn across to get out of the way, which was quick thinking of him. But, yeah, he did manage to get going, but then he just brought it round to the end of lap one and just parked it in the garage. His day was done, which is a shame because he'd put in a great qualifying and if anyone, I mean, not that Lewis didn't give Kimmy a run for his money, but it would have been great to see, even if Kimmy had disappeared into the distance like he did five seconds in the first, like three or four laps or whatever it was, or seven laps. I don't know exactly what it was, but he pulled out a lead pretty quickly. Would have at least had a tussle between Verstappen and Lewis again, just like we've had in the last race or two, which is always something we want to see, right?
• 19:58
Speaker A: Sure, yeah. I mean, the fact that Hajar got his car up on the podium, you'd think that Max would be able to squeeze a little bit more out of it and would have made it more competitive. What about your McLarens, Jason?
• 20:11
Speaker D: Yeah, what about them?
• 20:14
  Speaker A: That's it.
• 20:16
Speaker E: Back to Hajar again, then. Great, you know, great to see him get the podium even though he finished fourth on the road. I. I would have liked to seen Pierre get something for Alpine, but, yeah, he not. Not a steady day. Not an easy race for Hajar. Screaming down the radio for much of the race about lack of power, but constantly. Yeah, but, you know, you can have a lack of power around this track and it's so difficult to overtake that you actually need a real problem to be able to really. You need the car in front rather to have a problem for you to be able to get by. That's what put Lindblad past Alex Aubon. They were having deployment issues, which meant that he wasn't getting the horsepower out at all from the batteries. So obviously that was able to let the racing bulls pass. But Hajar was able to just keep it in touch with the cars in front and benefited from a string of retirements, one of which was Landa.
• 21:24
Speaker A: I mean, yeah, Lando, he didn't seem too bothered. Did you see him talking during the race? Jay said he didn't seem too bothered that he wasn't in the race.
• 21:31
Speaker D: It was his second retirement of the weekend. So, I mean, at that point, what are you going to do?
• 21:38
Speaker E: Yeah, he's the world champion.
• 21:41
  Speaker D: Second practice.
• 21:44
Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, but he's the world champion. His car is not capable of delivering Another championship this year. So, you know, he's enjoying his life as the champion. He knows he can do it. Everyone knows he can do it.
• 22:00
  Speaker A: He's done it.
• 22:01
Speaker E: If the car's not there to do it, then he's just going to go out and. And race and have a good time and not be too, I don't know, worked up if it's not working for him right now.
• 22:12
Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that's a fair point. He's got, you know, he's got plenty of time to go.
• 22:17
Speaker D: Oscar inherited P4, which was nice, I guess, but it didn't look good. It hasn't looked good for, I mean, Canada looked great. Right. That was the last one. Right, where we looked pretty good, but yeah, it was.
• 22:32
Speaker E: But Monaco's footnote, very unique. Yeah, it's a very unique circuit. The next race, obviously is in Spain, which is probably the most conventional circuit that we've had to date. And then after that we're on to Austria, Silverstone, Hungary, which are all pretty, you know, normal racetracks, so maybe there's more to come from them. Maybe. Maybe Mercedes go like leaps into the. Into the leaps ahead. I don't know. But it's. Monaco is always a bit of a quirky one.
• 23:19
  Speaker D: Yeah.
• 23:19
Speaker E: So hence, you know, Cadillac almost getting a point before Aston Martin, I think. I think Aston Martin, it was more a sense of relief to get a point versus if Cadillac had got that point. That would have been a. That would have been probably the. The biggest party in the pit lane so early in their first season. So it's kind of naughty to go back and slag off bearers again. But it's kind of annoying that it was something that was so preventable on the part of the driver and nothing that the team did or that the strategy call was wrong or anything like that. It's just, you know, Checo making a bit of a.
• 24:03
  Speaker A: Yeah,
• 24:06
Speaker D: well, I mean, I guess who. We spoke briefly about the racing bulls, but I mean, you know, it's Monaco. It's all about really qualifying, which was really exciting this year. And then really not much from the race other than the few incidents towards the end like we spoke about.
• 24:25
Speaker E: But, you know, but I think both. Yeah. Liam in fifth, Arvid in sixth. Double points finish. That's a really strong weekend.
• 24:34
Speaker A: That's the best. Yeah. That's their best overall result of the season.
• 24:37
  Speaker E: Yeah.
• 24:37
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 24:38
Speaker E: I mean, I think Liam Lawson is. I think he's back. He's back. Let's just say that, right. Last season he was a bit broken off the Back of the Red Bull fiasco in this car with this teammate, he's, he's a lot more mature. I think he's, he's learned a lot and he's doing really well. Blimblad obviously, new guy. He's the next. He was who Horner said is the next talent justifying his seat in the spot. But overall I think they could be very, very happy with what they've done
• 25:20
Speaker D: this weekend for sure. I mean it's unfortunate Pierre wasn't able to get, obviously wasn't able to get podium, but he still. What did he finish? P8, which is pretty, pretty decent.
• 25:33
  Speaker A: P7.
• 25:34
Speaker D: P7. If all the cars ahead hadn't retired, I mean he'd be happy with that result but you know, with how he got it, I'm sure he would have rather it not happen. And then I guess we didn't talk about Williams much. I mean they were on for a double points finish until.
• 25:51
Speaker E: Yeah, I mean so yeah, let's talk because color Pinto and Williams obviously Colapinto come into contact with Sainz obviously after Sainz had been nerfed into basically the retirement at that point by the Audi of Hulkenberg. But yeah, Carlos Sainz was on track for how many consecutive points in Monaco? 11, 12 was it? I mean how long has he been in F1?
• 26:18
Speaker A: I think something literally every race he's raced at Monaco he scored in the points I think was the stat we saw before the race started. And it looked like it was coming to him, didn't it? It was gonna, he was gonna sneak in.
• 26:28
Speaker E: But yeah, yeah, they did the, the old backing up routine they did last year which everyone seems to not be happy about. But it's like, you know, it's Monaco, they do it there.
• 26:41
Speaker A: They do it all the time. Not just at Monaco as well, they do it in a lot of places.
• 26:45
Speaker E: But then they go, we don't like racing this way. But well don't then. I mean it's a conscious decision.
• 26:51
Speaker A: Albon does it. I mean he can tell he's not happy to do it, but he does do it and it did kind of work. Although he ended up losing a spot. Yeah, he ended up losing one place, didn't he? And then they had a whole switcheroo debacle.
• 27:03
Speaker E: But yeah, yeah, but he was in eighth.
• 27:07
Speaker A: Best Williams result I think of the season.
• 27:10
Speaker E: Yeah, he was in eighth and Carlos was in ninth until coming to contact at the hairpin because George was backing up the field. This was after the safety, after the red flag restart. George had to Take his drive through penalty. So you heard them come on the radio and say we're going to do two laps and then come in and serve the penalty. So George on the first laugh after the restart backs everyone up, trying to on the first lap to try and build up a gap in front of him and then try and leave the field for dead on the second lap to build, you know, maybe a couple of seconds, try and get himself into the points. But you know, obviously he. That meant that first of all George didn't finish in the points and then second of all, it meant that everyone was side by side between Mirabeau and the hairpin and Hulkenberg had a bit of a lunge and it was. Well, you know, that was it. That was the end for Carlos.
• 28:16
Speaker D: Yeah. And Nico because he would have been in the points too.
• 28:19
Speaker E: Yes, yes, he. Well, he was actually in 11th at that point. But he did get past who Ocon, I think it was. Was it Ocon?
• 28:29
Speaker D: Yeah, I think so, yeah.
• 28:30
Speaker E: Who was between him and Carlos in the rundown from Mirabeau and then maybe he was just going for two spots at once. It was a little bit greedy from Hulkenberg and it ultimately cost him and. And Carlos the race. But did promote Esteban Ocon up to ninth.
• 28:49
Speaker D: Yeah, well, I think that's. That's pretty much it. I guess. That brings us on to Coupes F1.
• 28:58
Speaker A: Yeah, Coupes F1 this week. I mean, not surprisingly, quite low scoring due to, you know, the big. The big names not being in the points. No Russell, no Lando, no Max in the points. But pash down with the top score 167. And Isaac MP with 160 points overall. Not too much change, but we did have a switch at the top. Fight to win. Up one spot to first. Toto's under rush, which I think we confirmed last week isn't. Is not too rude in German. Down to second. Formula E holds up, holds on in third. Where am I? I dropped seven spots to 27th. But you came up 24 spots, Jason. So big move by you. Up to 56. Going in the right direction. Oh, I'm scrolling, I'm scrolling now, Nick. Down 10 spots to 155th. So you're mired in the midfield there, Nick. You need to bring some up a
• 30:01
Speaker E: bit of a hass.
• 30:02
Speaker A: Bring some upgrades, bring some upgrades to Catalonia this weekend. But yeah, it's not the. It's not this Spanish Grand Prix this weekend. It's the Catalina Grand Prix, I guess.
• 30:16
Speaker E: But it's because there are two races in Spain this year.
• 30:19
  Speaker A: Yeah, exactly.
• 30:20
Speaker E: So it's Carlos's first home race of the year.
• 30:24
Speaker A: Yeah, but it's at the. It's at the Barcelona circuit that they all know extremely well. They have done testing there many, many years in a row. So it shouldn't be too many surprises. But back to some more cars. Yeah, could be.
• 30:45
Speaker D: Yeah, I think. I mean, we don't usually see much passing here at this race either, but it could be interesting with the way that these cars are. We'll see.
• 30:53
Speaker A: Yeah, with the. With the active arrow and the batteries and the upgrades and everything. I mean, Monaco, they had a lot of that turned off, didn't they? So, I mean, no active aero in Monaco.
• 31:03
Speaker E: Yeah, no active arrow. Some crazy little wings going on as well. Little shaped wings, little fins and things, which was, you know, geeking over on Friday. But yeah, back to something more conventional. We see. We'll see how Kimmy does this week and see, you know, on a more conventional track if he can continue it. And if he can, then I think things are going to start looking a little bit bleak for George.
• 31:31
Speaker A: Yeah. Wow. George's not even second in the championship right now. Lewis is. Lewis is second. Lewis is the main contender. But you wouldn't bet against Kimmy anymore. I mean, everybody predicting his downfall, that it can't continue. But he just. He's cool as a cucumber, it seems. Just happy. Go lucky. But
• 31:52
Speaker D: I think Kimmy was the only correct choice I had on the weekend for Coops, and that's probably the reason I jumped up all those spots was because of one driver.
• 32:02
Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, I had a disaster. 79 points. I got. I only got five of the top people. Right.
• 32:08
Speaker D: He has to give up the corner. I had the nose ahead. What is wrong with these people?
