Speaker 1: And your life becomes truly meaningful and significant. And I

Speaker 1: use that word, build your life very intentionally because, you know,

Speaker 1: life doesn't just fall together into the way it ought

Speaker 1: And even when you become a Christian, it doesn't mean

Speaker 1: that it's just like snapping your fingers and everything is

Speaker 1: great and easy in life working the way it should. No,

Speaker 1: you have to build your life to be what God

Speaker 1: wants it to be, and God wants to be involved

Speaker 1: in that shaping, building your life. It's every day.

Speaker 1: Putting God's word into your life, listening to God, getting

Speaker 1: to know God, growing in your relationship with Him, applying

Speaker 1: the principles of His word to your life, that you

Speaker 1: build your life to what it needs to be. When

Speaker 1: you look at some people in your life who seem

Speaker 1: to just walk closely with God and sense that God

Speaker 1: is leading and guiding them, and he's using them in

Speaker 1: other people's lives, and you think, I wish I could

Speaker 1: be like that, but uh that's so far from who

Speaker 1: I am and what I am, I could never be

Speaker 1: like that.

Speaker 1: Well, in a sense, you're right, you can't just become

Speaker 1: like that all of a sudden.

Speaker 1: But do you know how that person became that way?

Speaker 1: They built their life around God and His word. Well,

Speaker 1: that's one of the reasons why every weekday morning at

Speaker 1: this time we open the Bible and see what God

Speaker 1: has to say to us. I encourage you to begin

Speaker 1: building your life around your relationship with God. It's going

Speaker 1: to take time. There'll be years of your life as

Speaker 1: you grow as a Christian.

Speaker 1: Well, the 5 most important things in life, we've covered

Speaker 1: 4 of them. Number 1, your personal relationship with God.

Speaker 1: Number 2, the word of God and its role in

Speaker 1: your life. Number 3, your family.

Speaker 1: Number 4, the family of God, the other believers in

Speaker 1: your life. And number 5, most important thing in your

Speaker 1: life is the people in your life who don't know

Speaker 1: God yet.

Speaker 1: And you know God is making such a difference in

Speaker 1: your life. You think of the hopelessness of life before

Speaker 1: God became the centre of your life and how God

Speaker 1: has impacted and changed your life. There's so many people

Speaker 1: who are in your life who just don't know God yet,

Speaker 1: and they need what God is doing in your life.

Speaker 1: You may be listening this morning, and you would say,

Speaker 1: I'm one of those people who doesn't know God yet.

Speaker 1: You may be religious, you may not be religious, but

Speaker 1: you know that you don't have a personal relationship with God. Well,

Speaker 1: if there's a real Christian in your life that you

Speaker 1: know knows God, just ask them about it. Say, tell

Speaker 1: me about your relationship with God. How did you get

Speaker 1: to know God? How can I get to know God?

Speaker 1: And if you are a Christian, you have to realise.

Speaker 1: God is at work in your life, but God has

Speaker 1: also put you into the lives of other people who

Speaker 1: He wants to introduce Himself to, and who's He going

Speaker 1: to introduce Himself to them through.

Speaker 1: Well, it's you. That's why he's put you in their lives.

Speaker 1: Jesus said to the disciples, just as the Father sent

Speaker 1: me into the world, I also am sending you into

Speaker 1: the world. Well, you need to include yourself in that you.

Speaker 1: God is sending you into your world, into the lives

Speaker 1: of the people you know who don't know Him. Everybody

Speaker 1: needs to encounter God in their lives. Something is missing

Speaker 1: in their lives until they encounter God. You remember when

Speaker 1: Jesus finished his time on Earth. His final words before

Speaker 1: returning to be with the Father in heaven were.

Speaker 1: You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come

Speaker 1: upon you, and you will be my witnesses. That's His

Speaker 1: plan for you, yes, to live your life, to enjoy life,

Speaker 1: to provide for your family, to do all these things,

Speaker 1: but never forget, whatever else you do, your identity, Jesus says,

Speaker 1: is you will be my witnesses.

Speaker 1: You need to be talking to people in your life

Speaker 1: about Him. Just let them know. Talk to them about

Speaker 1: what God is doing in your life, how He's answering

Speaker 1: your prayers, your struggles, and that He's meeting you in them.

Speaker 1: Don't pretend that everything's cool and easy and great because

Speaker 1: you're a Christian. Be honest, be real. Let them see

Speaker 1: God and then share with them how God can be

Speaker 1: a part of their lives too.
